SPEAKER_00: Today's message that I want to bring forth is, because I know there's some people needing this word today, when God is silent, He is still working.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we feel like we're praying.
• 0:49
SPEAKER_00: There are moments in every believer's life where it seems like our prayers go unanswered.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_00: We pray, we fast, we seek the Lord, and yet everything around us remains quiet.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_00: In those moments, we can begin to wonder, God, are you listening to me?
• 1:08
SPEAKER_00: God, is there something that I need to know?
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: God, why is it that when I pray, I don't hear or I don't see anything?
• 1:19
  SPEAKER_00: The answer is yes.
• 1:21
  SPEAKER_00: God hears every prayer.
• 1:24
  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes he answers immediately.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes he says no because he has something better.
• 1:31
SPEAKER_00: And sometimes he says, simply wait.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_00: Waiting is not a punishment.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_00: Waiting is preparation.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the last thing we want to do is wait.
• 1:42
SPEAKER_00: We pray, we want God to answer right away.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_00: You know, we live in a fast-lane life where we want everything like Burger King, have it your way.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_00: And it can't be like that.
• 1:53
SPEAKER_00: We have to persevere and know that we gave a petition to God, and God would answer it on his timing.
• 2:01
SPEAKER_00: For example, think about Joseph.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_00: God gave him a dream, but before the dream came to pass, what happened?
• 2:09
SPEAKER_00: Joseph walked through betrayal, slavery, prison.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_00: During those years, God was not absent.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_00: He was just preparing Joseph for what?
• 2:19
  SPEAKER_00: For the palace.
• 2:20
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the waiting is not to destroy you.
• 2:25
SPEAKER_00: The waiting is not to even discourage you.
• 2:28
SPEAKER_00: The waiting is that God is doing something bigger than what you can ever imagine.
• 2:32
  SPEAKER_00: Think about Abraham.
• 2:34
SPEAKER_00: God promised him a son, but he waited how long?
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: Many years before seeing the promise fulfilled.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_00: And think about Lazarus.
• 2:43
SPEAKER_00: Jesus intentionally delayed going to him.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_00: He could have gone to him right away, but he delayed it.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_00: There will always be a delay in our life, one way or the other.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_00: To everyone else, it looked too late, but Jesus arrived at the perfect moment to reveal God's glory.

• 3:15
SPEAKER_00: You may find that he is silent, but he is not absent.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_00: He is working behind the scenes in ways you cannot even imagine, in ways you cannot even see.
• 3:27
SPEAKER_00: The word of God tells us in Isaiah chapter 40, verse 31.
• 3:32
