- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: Bernat does not always arrive as one traumatic breaking point.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it develops slowly through sleepless nights, recurring illness, constant stress, and the gradual loss of connection with who we are.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Today's guest is especially meaningful to me because she is a dear long-time friend.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: Lori Lee spent more than 20 years in the corporate world before experiencing the burnout that caused her to question how she was living and what she
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: Her search for greater balance led her to sound and energy healing.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: We'll begin as Lori's personal healing journey, eventually became Lori Lee healing hopes, where she now helps others create space to slow down, reconnect and restore a greater sense of harmony.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: Lori is a certified energy healing practitioner and sound practitioner whose work includes individual sessions,
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: private sound healing experiences, and group sound baths using tools such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Today, we're exploring what burnout can teach us why caring for ourselves is part of responsible leadership, and how intentionally creating calm can positively influence our families, workplace, and communities.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: Lori, welcome to Daily Influence.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for having me, Greg.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm very excited to share my story and hopefully reach more people of trying to find that restoring that balance and realignment within ourselves when we're balancing the craziness of stress with not only work, personal, and the environmental.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: Lori, you and I have known each other for a long time, which makes it especially meaningful to have this conversation with you.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: You've spent more than 20 years in the corporate world before reaching a point where you were exhausted, frequently sick, sleeping very little, and beginning to lose your sense of self.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: When you look back, what were the warning signs that something needed to change, and what finally helped you begin listening to them?
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: So you know it's funny, I always tell people it's not like you just wake up and you get slapped in the face with it.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very slow burn.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: So it first started with just having the sleepless nights because I had so much work to do.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I wanted to do my 120% and then I just started to sacrificing my sleep.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Then I noticed later on I started sacrificing my nutrition not only was I skipping meals but then I was like whatever's fast whatever I can just get in just you know as soon as possible I was eating maybe once a day was getting to that point and lack of energy a lot of sleeveless nights.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: getting to the point where I was never really present in anything, whether it was work, you know, going with family, doing family events, and even being like doing something for myself with my girlfriends, you know, I was attached to my phone.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: I felt like even when we were sitting down to like, watch a movie, I have my laptop.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not paying attention to anybody.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think that what really started to get to me was the constant illness.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was first it was just starting with, I had bronchitis and then I would have pneumonia and then I was always having a cold and so that then I started getting hospitalized and with unknown illnesses, they could not have detected what was happening.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I was traveling a lot and it started to get a little scarier because they thought, oh, I have blood clots, I said, so that really started making me stop and be like, what is going on, I asked for more help in the sense of let's let's deviate my responsibility, let's hire more people, right, trying to find some kind of solution for the problem.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: And then it really got to the point where I literally almost cried every day on my way to work like I just didn't want to go and it was the people were fabulous on my teams.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: It was just walking into the bombardiness of there's never an accomplished task.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of how I felt.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: So I felt like I was drowning.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: I was in the middle of the ocean with no lifeboat and sight.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: And that was really when I had to stop and be like, you know, when I have like my grandkids and people saying they're never really present you're really not here, you know my one grand kid I was watching him and he grabbed my phone and was like, I want you to watch this movie with me and I was like it was just that little shock from a, you know, a five year old.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: just being like, I want your presence, you know?
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: So it was kind of a little shocking for me to be like, okay, this young child is annoyed, you know, beyond the leaf that I, and we're sitting to watch a movie together.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: So really, you know, why wouldn't he just be satisfied?
- 6:35[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where it really kind of just made me stop in my tracks.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: And then I went to this Raxpo,
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the speakers there, everything she said kind of resonated with me about what's important in life.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I really went home that we can.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought about it and I resigned on day.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_02]: Just because it was kind of looking at what is important.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's like we always have talked about the Mason jar right like you say you keep putting all the stress and everything in there and really if I were to leave or something where to happen works going on without me but my family might not.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: You know and I wasn't really there for them and I wasn't really there for me.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what I really started to figure out is that I'm not enjoying anything.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't enjoy one part of it and enjoy being at work.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then enjoy when I was going out with my girlfriend.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't enjoy being with the family.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: So I was just kind of miserable on the inside, but no one could tell that on the outside big big big wake up call for me.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure, and that role that you had, you were the CFO of an international company during that time.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: So you had a lot of responsibility on your plate, and for you to have that realization, you know, your story, it's so powerful, because not simply escaping a difficult season, like you began exploring what that season was trying to teach you.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: It was 24, 7 literally and because I was international and then I felt like I was always letting somebody down somewhere and then that started to like stack like I always tried to tell people it's like a stacking mechanism right and then we explode or everybody had you know has their little breaking point.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I found myself speaking like very short with everybody and dismissive, you know, dismissive was I think the biggest thing I really like related to and then I didn't like to be dismissed, but I was doing it to others now.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so let's talk about the sound healing sound healing and
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: The energy healing initially helped you reconnect with yourself.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: But eventually, your personal experience became a way to serve others.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: Can you share a little bit about what the sound and energy healing is?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then share a specific moment where you realize your healing journey was positively influencing someone else.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: sure.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: So what captivated me about the sound like going through my own healing journey to heal myself because they had the stillness which literally because we had the pandemic going on, it really made me stop and figure out what was happening within my body and how my body was reacting to all the stress and so many different levels.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: And as I started to do my own energy healing
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: is that you don't have to believe in anything, you don't have to actually physically do anything, you just need to receive.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_02]: Because the way the power of sound, the vibration of sound actually helps our bodies and ourselves because we're mostly native water.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: And so it's moving all of the
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: than all of our, like, it's a detox, right?
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's moving all of the impurities out of our body.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: So what that's what I loved about the sound is I felt like gosh, I could have gone to these while I was working.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: I probably could have re-aligned myself and had some balance in my life and found some harmony.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_02]: I was just like, this is so simple.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to go to the gym.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to get, you know, change it.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's all those pieces, like, one more thing I have to put on my list to do.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: But when you go to a sound healing, what's nice about it is your just kind of laying down, we're getting you into a meditative state and for your body's own good.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: When I started doing it for myself, I found that I was having this really difficult pain in my knee and I could hardly walk.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I went to a sound healing.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: I've gone.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: I went to once a physical therapy.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: I did all these other things.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: I went to a sound healing and it was gone, I was like, how is this even possible.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: So that was intriguing to me.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: And then I really got into the science about it and really started to look into the researching about what is actually happening in our bodies and how frequencies can work.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: and so many different levels for a person and human body.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_02]: And so I started to do the, you know, was super new at it and I was, I was a little nervous, but I, one, I had people coming to me and like crying about how great they felt after.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's when I realize that like this is touching a vast group of people without them having, they don't have to share what's happening in their lives, just the pure moments of actually going there and having some kind of reliefs of stress, um, maybe some pain, you know, anxiety,
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever it may be, I feel like that's when I knew that this is my calling to reach others because I felt like in my job, even though it's a CFO and the head of the HR.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: always had everybody coming to me and asking me for advice and how do I do this and how can I manage with this person?
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like this is the same, and then the same playing field, being able to reach others and help them through their journey without really needing to know much, just trying to push them along and get them through the stressful times.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's from a general public sound healing, right?
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then if we do a one-on-one energy healing, that's a little bit deeper for you as a person of how we want to get aligned because we don't realize how much stress our bodies hold.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: Our cells do not forget what's going on.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: Just like they talk about the fact that our mind is not those of the difference.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: If you reoccur and talk about a memory, whether it happened 15 years ago or if it's happening today, our bodies react the same.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: So this is what's so important about when we're holding on to stress, even from the day, you know, of having pressures at work, we are hanging on to it.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't leave off.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: And so this is a nice way to get it released from us without having to really dive too deeply into what that may be the stress trigger.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: And the way that we manage our own stress, energy, and well-being, it doesn't only affect us, it can really shape every environment we enter, whether it's with our co-workers, our friends, our family, and that ripple effect directly connects to responsible influence.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: And many business owners and leaders treat rest and personal well being as optional, something they will address after the work is finished from your experience, how can unmanage stress influence the way someone communicates make decisions and treats the people around them.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what I've experienced not only for myself but dealing with others who are in very high stressful environment also, is that our communication becomes very different.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_02]: We become very Kurt, we're impatient, we become defensive or reactive.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: We're not actively listening, which is another problem that can be problematic, especially when it comes to decision making.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: Because now we're trying to make a quick reactive decision as thinking through this at what's the best course of action, because we don't have time.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're checking it off the list.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: We're we're feeling the pressure and we're just making the most quick.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: decision that really I know this sounds terrible, but sometimes it's like, I just want it off my list.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: I just want these people out of my office.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to satisfy this so I can move on to the next because the list is never ending.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I definitely think that that's one of the things that really affects us as a leaders is we stop becoming leaders is now we're mimicking what like whatever we're doing our staff.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: are mimicking what we're doing and they're thinking this is how you get to be in that position and or this is how we treat people which can be very toxic to any organization and not only in a company but in your family, right, in your front group, right.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_02]: So it's something that we need to
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what's happening when we're, it's like our bodies are always working in a fight or flight.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's, and that's when we're not in that harmonious taking those deep breaths.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: Being at peace, we cannot make the best decisions in the long run.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: It may be a great short decision, like a short run decision, but it's maybe not for the entirety of the, or for the greater good of the organization or the staff.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, Lori, for someone who feels disconnected, overwhelmed, or constantly in motion, what simple framework would you recommend for beginning to reconnect with themselves?
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: So, there's a few things I would say.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I, well, and I do it now today, but I think in the mornings, I, a lot of people are hit the jump and hit the ground running.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think what I try to do now before I,
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: exit my bed is that I sit and I say three things that I'm thankful for and I try to pick different things and I go to the point where I'm thankful for my site, you know, I'm thankful that I get to see, you know, the beauty of a sunrise.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: but they can also be that I'm thankful for the family that I have or the love that I'm able to share with people, right?
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, so it can be anything.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: If sometimes people feel like, I can't be that grateful.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: I just woke up.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_02]: I have too much.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: It can be super simple.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's the fact that you, you know, have shoes to put on that day.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know, make it simple.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, I love the gratitude right to do the gratitude.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: The other piece is like if you have something that you like to listen to that's like just like a delta wave something be still for five minutes just sit in that it's very helpful for anybody who can just be able to be because we don't we're not usually in the state of rust.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: Another I personally like is that I do the I love it one and it's like I love it when the sun is shining in my face I love it when my dog comes up to me smiley, you know, or being mysterious, you know, it's something that just kind of shift your mindset.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: What I would tell you for the busy people who are like I'm not going to do that.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: take a candle and smell the candle.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: So it doesn't have to be lit, but our sense of smell within if you can do it for 10 seconds, it will change your mindset.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: Stand in the sun.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you're having a tough day walk out into the sun, if you don't have that option, go and take 10 deep breaths.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: We have heard a box breathing for deep breaths in through the nose, hold for four,
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: exhale out the mouth with making noise for four or more and do it four times.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Those are very nervous center recess, but they're simple and I don't have to had it a lot of time into my day, especially for the busy working world, you know, it's how do I get my workout in?
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: I got to get this, right?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I just try to before I put my feet on the floor, figure out what I can be thankful for that day.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: It helps your mindset in the morning.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: Those are all great tools.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: I can think of a time where I could have used one or two of those.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to try and remember that.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: Far listeners who never attended a sound bath, what actually happens during one, and how do you create an environment where people feel safe enough to slow down and receive the experience?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's a great question.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_02]: What I like to do is like a little bit before the sound healing.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_02]: I like to explain to people what's going to happen and what the effects of sound have on our body and how they can feel throughout the experience.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: So they know what to expect before and after.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: And what I do is I try to make it very,
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: welcoming, right?
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very peaceful.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: I have Delta waves playing in the background, which is a very nice sleep state wave.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's inviting in the fact that I have like lavender.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_02]: I mask for them to like breathe in the lavender because lavender is a calming mechanism.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_02]: And then I think the biggest thing for me is explaining what can happen in the sound and how actually sound works because I think a lot of people are
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: not educated on what's happening.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: They just go and don't know what to expect and some maybe some practitioners aren't.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm into explaining a lot of what's going to happen in the body and how that when I'm playing two different bowls at the same time, it's actually doing a brain retrainment in I also like to tell them about the different so all my bowls have crystal
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: They all have different parts of the bodies that they work on so they may feel it in different parts of the body.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that the most thing is that I kind of just bring them there to talk about like letting go of their stress.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't identify this stress.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: I just talk about it as they're breathing out.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: We do a breathing exercise as I start and it talks about just like breathing out the stress of the day.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: and then breathing out the stress, and also for those who have a hard time meditating, I try to put them into a space that brings them joy.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that always seems to help the best, you know, to just try to move forward.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: So that's, you know, and then it's about 75 minutes.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's total, you know, where we do a couple minutes to get you a little bit educated, have you do a little breathing exercise and then listen to the sounds and then I bring you back out and then we talk about what can be happening after and how to self care after a sound healing.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: And then I always make myself available for anybody who has questions because I had a ton of questions when I was doing it because like I was an analytical person, right, so I want to know all the things of why it's happening and then I want to have all the reasons, you know, you know, what's the solutions.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: So that's kind of how the sound healing works.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for sharing that for our listeners.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: Anyone who's not gone to a sound healing, I highly recommend looking for one in your area.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: They are truly unbelievable.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's really hard to describe how they really help you until you experience and creating that kind of environment.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: It does require more than technical training.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: It requires awareness of the responsibility that you carry when someone places trust in you.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: And when you lead a sound bath or work with someone individually, how do you prepare yourself to influence that person intentionally, rather than bringing your own stress or assumptions or emotional state into the room?
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's a wonderful question and it's very much for me, I've taken pride in what I do before a sound healing.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: So if I, because I still do a little work on the side, like as a consultant, so I still have kind of a day job to.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: So what I do is before a sound healing, I make sure I have at least four hours for myself prior.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: to clear anything.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: I do some grounding techniques.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: If you have a grounding matter of never heard of a grounding mat, you can get a grounding mat.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_02]: Grounding techniques is just kind of you can also stand on the grass and bare feet that also helps you grown because the earth runs at a seven hertz and that helps us get to because we're all frequency based.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I, what I do normally is I make sure that I am completely stress relief.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: I do a meditation for myself to relieve myself from anything that's gone on during the day.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: And then what I also do is I meditate about what's going to be going on in that sound healing that night.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: So that I am there in order to, you know, really hold the space for everybody who's coming because everybody's coming with something.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: And I kind of kind of tap into what is going to be needed tonight, you know, or that that evening or for that sound healing and I for the group sound healing is a little bit different because there's so many people versus a one on one, but this but the methodology methodology is still the same.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm making sure that I'm cleared, I'm relaxed, I'm connected.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_02]: And if like I'm not like, if I had to have something that was going on and I'm sick, I don't go.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, I will cancel because it's not fair for me to bring anything in to the environment or to the space, right?
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: So it's more about creating that space that's safe environment that it's clear of all the stress and it's very uplifting for all the participants
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: thank you for sharing that Laurie.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: You were journey began during a period when you felt trapped and disconnected.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: You now have the perspective to speak to the version of yourself who was still trying to push through it.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: If you could speak to yourself or to the listener who believes they must keep pushing because too many people depend on them what would you tell your younger
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay to have boundaries and the people who really are relying on you need you to be 100% well in order for them to actually receive the 100% out of you.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I like I would tell you don't feel guilty for making time for yourself.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: No is a complete answer.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: If you're overwhelmed, if it's too much, say no, I know we don't always want to say no to all the people and all the responsibilities because we feel like we're people, please, or we haven't seen them in three weeks and I keep going them off.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: If you're body, your body is telling you things all the time.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_02]: You have that feeling in your gut.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_02]: You have the tension headaches.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_02]: You have the tension in your shoulders.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: All of those things are messages because awareness is the key.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_02]: So pay attention to those things.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I would encourage you to take like,
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: one small change, just pick one thing that you change.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's taking time to recharge and whatever that may be.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_02]: It may be doing the walk.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: It may be having a cup of tea.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: It may be sitting outside.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever that little piece that gives you that moment to relax,
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: take it and it's okay that you have to say now because when we are ready to say yes and we're fully present, it makes a difference.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: The experience for both people or whenever you're sharing that with the group, it's going to be tenfold.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: Then when you're trying to, I always tell people
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: In addition to that, if your well is empty, who's gonna show it, you need to fill your well.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: And you can only give from the well that is full.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: So there is a few things you have to remember and that's what I would have said to myself.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I do have to still do that to myself where I will start to spread myself in because I wanna help everybody.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: And then I know there's those times I need to stop in it's okay and I did nothing one day nothing and I have a laundry list and I thought oh my god this is so this is going to be this is going to be bad the next day, but you know what I needed it I needed to just be I needed not to do anything if you need to sit on the couch and watch a show that is meaningless or whatever you need to do carve out that time.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's important for you to recharge your batteries.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: If we are not running at 100%, they are all receiving at whatever percentage you're at.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: So if you think about that, when your battery is low on your phone, and you can't do a lot of things, same thing happening with you and your body.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: That is great advice, Lori.
