  Speaker 1: Oh, okay, okay.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: And what is an LX600?
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Alexis, did I have one of those?
• 2:17
  Speaker 3: I don't think that's a big SUV, isn't it?
• 2:19
Speaker 5: Well, they just redid it for the first time in, I think, 10 plus years.
• 2:23
Speaker 5: They modified again the entire car so built on the Land Cruiser platform.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: Okay so there's no Land Cruisers now in the United States.
• 2:34
Speaker 5: Yep, right, or for now at least.
• 2:36
Speaker 5: So how is it?
• 2:37
Speaker 5: Great Drives, well, and for the Houston roads that aren't the V8?
• 2:41
  Speaker 5: V6 twin turbo.
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: Twin turbo V6.
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: How many horsepower?
• 2:46
  Speaker 3: I think it's pushing a little over 400.
• 2:48
Speaker 3: Is this built in San Antonio?
• 2:50
  Speaker 3: This one is.
• 2:52
Speaker 5: I know this one's built over there, japan, I think so.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, you know they build a lot of stuff in Japan.
• 2:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, no, the only reason I ask is because that's San Antonio is where the V6.
• 3:04
Speaker 3: The V6 is built.
• 3:05
Speaker 3: I know there's some shared platform stuff with that Well cool.
• 3:12
Speaker 5: Pretty reliable, pretty good.
• 3:13
Speaker 3: Oh well, lexus, no wait a minute.
• 3:15
Speaker 1: So you said that you had other cars too.
• 3:18
Speaker 5: And not working on tuning an Audi R8 with some guys here locally in Houston.
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: This one.
• 3:24
Speaker 5: Not that one, identical to that one though Identical to that one Just different interior.
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: No, no.
• 3:29
Speaker 1: So what do you mean by tuning it?
• 3:31
Speaker 1: Isn't it already tuned from the factory?
• 3:33
Speaker 5: Have some friends that do a pretty good job.
• 3:35
Speaker 1: We all have those friends.
• 3:37
  Speaker 5: Friends.
• 3:38
Speaker 5: Right yeah, have some friends.
• 3:39
Speaker 1: They spend your money.
• 3:40
  Speaker 5: Exactly.
• 3:40
Speaker 5: Yeah, they give me good deals, though, at DME, tuning right here off of 59, and they do some.
• 3:47
Speaker 5: Along with Ted from EuroPower, they put together some pretty impressive, some pretty impressive packages on cars.
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: I see.
• 3:55
Speaker 5: I had them tune a DBX.
• 3:56
Speaker 5: That was crazy Stupid fast.
• 3:59
  Speaker 5: I had them tune a 911 R.
• 4:00
Speaker 5: I've had them do a Range Rover SV on the R8.
• 4:04
Speaker 5: The Range Rover SVR, they're all pretty, the grocery getters, but with a but with a but get them real quick, but get them real quick.
• 4:13
Speaker 5: What do you call a sleeper?
• 4:15
Speaker 5: A sleeper, exactly, yeah, a sleeper with with downpipe.
• 4:18
Speaker 5: So for sure, yeah, we'll wake you up in the morning, Nice, Do they?
• 4:24
Speaker 1: do they ever tune any Corvettes I?
• 4:27
Speaker 1: Are they all European stuff?
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: I?
• 4:29
  Speaker 5: think they?
• 4:30
Speaker 5: I think they specialize in tuning European vehicles.
• 4:32
Speaker 5: Yeah, they're the most famous for Mercedes, specifically with a good old Burble on the downshift.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm familiar with that.
• 4:41
Speaker 5: The Burble and Pop tunes.
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 4:44
  Speaker 5: They're good guys.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: And in fact there was a car I don't remember what it was, but it was something along those lines that blew past me on the Beltway and then let off the accelerator just as they passed me.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: It's what we always wanted back in the old V8, american V8 days, but we never could quite get there, because once you downshifted it that far and revved it up to 6,000, it'd blow up.
• 5:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, so there's that.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: You remember those days.
• 5:15
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I've been a few.
• 5:16
Speaker 3: Have blown a couple of them up.
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: Yes, Exactly yeah.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: The technology and some of the engines today are out of this world actually.
• 5:25
Speaker 3: So you're putting twin turbos on the V10.
• 5:27
  Speaker 3: On the V10.
• 5:29
  Speaker 5: It'll be a project car.
• 5:30
Speaker 5: We'll see how it turns out.
• 5:31
  Speaker 3: A project.
• 5:31
Speaker 3: It's going to be more than just a project, car I know um, is it UGR?
• 5:38
Speaker 3: Uh, they, they do that.
• 5:40
Speaker 5: Twin turbo modifications, because that engine's also shared at the.
• 5:43
Speaker 3: Lamborghini but, yeah, lamborghini level, yeah.
• 5:46
Speaker 3: So yeah, I know that they're pretty famous.
• 5:48
  Speaker 5: I saw.
• 5:49
Speaker 5: I saw videos online and I thought it looked pretty crazy.
• 5:51
Speaker 5: So I was like might have to give this a might have to give this a try.
• 5:55
  Speaker 3: You know.
• 5:56
Speaker 3: So is this all custom built or bits and pieces from, I think it's, various people?
• 6:01
  Speaker 5: but a mix.
• 6:01
Speaker 5: A mix, but they're uh, for the most part, it's all getting done that with the DME and Euro power guys.
• 6:07
  Speaker 3: Wow.
• 6:07
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 6:08
Speaker 3: Gotta trust them that they know what they're doing.
• 6:12
  Speaker 5: Three.
• 6:12
Speaker 5: It's been three cars now that I've haven't had an issue with.
• 6:15
Speaker 5: So I mean I'm not, so I'm not sponsored by them.
• 6:18
Speaker 4: So no, no, no, no, no, no, but no, but you, you've got a working relationship with them Exactly.
• 6:22
Speaker 5: They, you know the quality and the quality, and the biggest thing I mean with, I guess, tune specifically is I mean there's some that are pretty unreliable for your car and it's not great to, but they probably know about that stuff and don't do that on purpose.
• 6:36
  Speaker 5: For sure.
• 6:36
Speaker 5: They have a good team of engineers that have um that build their tunes for them and they've been working on them for a while and with them for a while, so they've been around for a while.
• 6:44
Speaker 5: They've made some good movement on social media and I believe that's, but they really grow through word of mouth referral, which is pretty impressive.
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: Where are?
• 6:52
Speaker 5: they Right off of 59.
• 6:54
Speaker 5: 59 and a couple exits after more A B, z motors is on the right hand side of your going from from in town to Sugarland.
• 7:03
Speaker 1: Right here, right here, yeah, right down the street Five, six minutes from yeah, so what kind?
• 7:10
Speaker 4: of horsepower are they?
• 7:10
Speaker 5: anticipating, hopefully pushing over a thousand, we'll see.
• 7:13
  Speaker 5: Be a fun car 1200, I think.
• 7:16
Speaker 3: Be a fun car and that all will drive yeah.
• 7:20
  Speaker 5: It'll be good.
• 7:20
Speaker 5: We're moving the rear bumper so you can see the the turbos.
• 7:25
  Speaker 3: Oh, okay, okay.
• 7:26
Speaker 5: So imagine that off and you see the turbos right there.
• 7:31
Speaker 1: I've seen that look on one vehicle online online.
• 7:35
Speaker 5: That's where I got the inspiration from.
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: Did you?
• 7:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I saw that, I thought, but they've done it before on a Huracan.
• 7:40
Speaker 5: So I was like, well, they can do it on a Huracan, they can do it on I don't know what car it was.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: But I thought, wow, as a car guy I kind of like it.
• 7:48
Speaker 5: I like that, yeah, yeah, makes tires look super wide.
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
• 7:52
Speaker 1: So you got all that polished stainless steel and all that good stuff hanging out back there.
• 7:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, and then the people who know what they're looking at, know what it is.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: Other people are like oh, that's pretty.
• 8:03
Speaker 5: As it heats up, it turns purple All the metal parts.
• 8:06
Speaker 5: So it looks, yeah, it's a good, good look to yes, yeah, we'll see how it turns out.
• 8:10
Speaker 5: Make sure to bring it by, hopefully, so where did you?
• 8:12
Speaker 1: where did you, where did you get your inspiration from to get into all of this stuff In the automotive industry?
• 8:19
Speaker 5: Yeah, always, always like cars since I was little, grew up racing go-karts out at MSR Houston, yep, and always, really, always, really enjoyed the being somewhat involved in the industry.
• 8:32
Speaker 5: Yeah, that was in the industry for a long time.
• 8:34
Speaker 5: My grandparents were in the industry, really On the chemical side, so it was kind of a natural grew up around cars and had a natural love for them.
• 8:42
Speaker 5: My business partner I've had in the work world has been a big car guy, so it's always kind of easy.
• 8:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, got some part of an conversation.
• 8:52
Speaker 5: Part of a conversation and it's always been something that I like.
• 8:55
Speaker 5: A lot of people think cars just get you from A to Z.
• 8:57
Speaker 5: For me, a car is you spend especially in Houston.
• 8:59
Speaker 5: You spend a large part of your day in a car, so for me it's.
• 9:03
  Speaker 2: I mean it's extreme, extreme.
• 9:05
Speaker 5: It's an experience and extremely important and more than anything and just not just because we're here, but protecting our cars Super important.
• 9:10
Speaker 5: You know, I see all these cars that get taken to dealerships and I can get a good deal on them because they have all these chips on the front of the car and exactly so.
• 9:17
Speaker 5: I mean now for sure, I think cars in America's most Americans second largest asset after their home.
• 9:24
  Speaker 2: So I think it's.
• 9:26
  Speaker 5: I think it's I mean for sure.
• 9:27
Speaker 5: It's like if one of you go to the doctor, he tells you to buy a good bed because you're going to spend a fourth of your life in bed.
• 9:32
Speaker 5: Well, you're going to spend a 10th or an eighth of your life in a car.
• 9:36
Speaker 3: So I might as well try to get a comfortable.
• 9:38
Speaker 3: So have you taken any of your cars out to any of the TX2K events I have?
• 9:42
Speaker 5: not, I have not.
• 9:43
Speaker 5: I probably will have to do that shortly.
• 9:45
Speaker 5: I have a buddy that has a very modified GT500 and he's him and I are trying to put maybe a little project car together to take out there.
• 9:54
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 9:54
  Speaker 3: They, they.
• 9:55
Speaker 3: Through the years they've had some pretty fun stuff You've done what you've said so far.
• 9:59
  Speaker 1: I got a feeling that's not a little project.
• 10:02
Speaker 5: It'd be a big project with big horsepower big project with big horsepower, yeah, and probably a lot of time too.
• 10:08
Speaker 5: A lot of time, yeah, yeah.
• 10:10
Speaker 3: So, but you you hire most of the work out, or do you actually go put your hands on it too?
• 10:14
Speaker 5: No, we go, we go, I go, I go me and person, I'll go in and put my hands on it and help out, more than anything to learn about it.
• 10:19
Speaker 5: I'm not a mechanic, I'm not an engineer either, but I like to.
• 10:22
Speaker 5: I like to learn and be as hands on as possible.
• 10:24
  Speaker 3: That's cool.
• 10:25
Speaker 3: I think it's cool that they let you do that, yeah, that they're pretty as well.
• 10:28
Speaker 5: Like I work in relationship.
• 10:29
  Speaker 3: Share their knowledge.
• 10:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, and more than anything, they're pretty open too.
• 10:32
Speaker 5: There's a lot of people that are get out, they do, but there's not a lot of good teachers, you know but right there and you can ask questions and they're they're, I hope you out understand what you're doing.
• 10:40
Speaker 1: How old are these guys?
• 10:41
Speaker 1: These guys your age?
• 10:42
Speaker 1: No, they're they have?
• 10:45
Speaker 5: they have a kind of a variety in their shop.
• 10:47
Speaker 5: They have older guys, they have younger guys, they have guys from Houston, they have guys from overseas, they have guys kind of from everywhere.
• 10:54
Speaker 5: They're pretty international guys, you know it's.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: it's funny how word gets out amongst us car guys about other car guys.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: A shop, you know, this guy specializes in this and then his business starts building because more and more guys start going to him For sure.
• 11:13
Speaker 3: Well, especially if that's something that you're looking for, you know to find somebody else with your knowledge and experience, with somebody who can do those things at that level, because there's very few people that can do things at that level.
• 11:26
  Speaker 5: Exactly For me.
• 11:27
Speaker 5: When I saw that they were doing twin turbo modifications on cars or supercharger modifications and all these, I was like, well, they can for sure probably do a simple tune.
• 11:35
Speaker 5: So then started out.
• 11:36
Speaker 5: The tune then went from tune to exhaust and went to an exhaust down pipes, then went to an exhaust down pipe headers.
• 11:42
Speaker 5: We know how that works, and now we're at tune, exhaust down pipes, turbos and headers too.
• 11:49
  Speaker 5: So we'll see.
• 11:50
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's one of those like ah we know Exactly.
• 11:56
  Speaker 4: It's an addiction.
• 11:56
  Speaker 4: It's an addiction.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, that was just 40 years ago, you know.
• 12:00
Speaker 1: Now we just sit around and talk about it.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: But it all started kind of that way.
• 12:05
Speaker 1: We sit around and talk about it and then you go, yeah, why don't we?
• 12:10
Speaker 2: try to put that on the car, yeah.
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: So then one weekend all of us pile into one guy's garage and do that, and then it just keeps snowballing.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: Well, we did that.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: Why don't we do this?
• 12:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do that.
• 12:22
Speaker 5: And building, and building.
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: Yeah, it's nonstop, it's addictive.
• 12:26
Speaker 5: It's crazy being in here and seeing all these cars my, my ADD goes.
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: Is is.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: Is this your first time here?
• 12:33
Speaker 5: It is not my first time here.
• 12:34
Speaker 5: I've been coming to John for all automotive work for a while.
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 12:39
Speaker 5: All paint protection for the tent.
• 12:42
Speaker 1: John also knows a lot of people, so if he doesn't do it here, or if he doesn't have, you know, the expertise or doesn't know anything about it.
• 12:51
Speaker 1: He knows somebody that does.
• 12:53
Speaker 5: He does for sure Now very well connected, very respected, and the talent he has in this shop is insane.
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 12:59
Speaker 5: I had all my cars and even the Lexus done here and you can't even a lot of people be like what would you do to the car?
• 13:03
Speaker 5: I was like, really man, I just took it to John, gave him the keys and was like worker, worker magic, yeah you go.
• 13:09
Speaker 5: Cause a lot of these Lexus has also come with so much satin and they don't have a lot of options to black out the satin packages from the factory and I mean a lot of cars are like that these days no, from the dealers, don't really want to work with them.
• 13:22
Speaker 5: So pick it up from the dealer, brought it here and took care of, went, took it from being all silver to all black and made it look pretty aggressive.
• 13:28
Speaker 1: You a member of any club or organization or anything.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: I am not currently.
• 13:34
Speaker 4: Well, you mentioned that your grandfather was in the automotive industry.
• 13:37
  Speaker 4: Yes, yeah.
• 13:39
Speaker 5: And your father and my father and you and myself.
• 13:41
Speaker 4: And what does all that mean?
• 13:43
Speaker 5: Do you do chemical manufacturing?
• 13:45
Speaker 5: Chemical manufacturing, engine additives, engine brake cleaners for all the big OEs down in Latin America and Mexico and then moved here to the United States and started in the my father was in the spray on battle liner industry.
• 14:01
  Speaker 3: Okay, yeah.
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: Interesting.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny how.
• 14:06
Speaker 1: How do all of us car people get back together again all of a sudden?
• 14:10
Speaker 3: I mean just something like this yeah, you know everybody's got a love and a passion for cars and you know you might not be specific like the BMW guys I'm sure are a little more specific to BMW but they come to something like this to see all the other cars.
• 14:24
Speaker 3: You know, you get to see the STO, get to see the Ferrari over here and I'm is that?
• 14:30
Speaker 3: Is that an SP3, sf 90, sf 90.
• 14:33
Speaker 5: Yeah, Pretty cool car Awesome, pretty cool and the.
• 14:39
Speaker 1: Porsche, the back car right there.
• 14:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, we see that Off road.
• 14:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, the off road Porsche.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: Something just wrong about that.
• 14:45
Speaker 5: I don't know what it is, but you know?
• 14:47
Speaker 1: Hey, man, it's great to talk to you.
• 14:48
Speaker 5: Thank you so much for having me on your show.
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: We appreciate you.
• 14:50
Speaker 5: Yeah, we do Y'all enjoy the great views here.
• 14:53
Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, good luck with your project and let's stay in touch, mark's going to give you a card.
• 14:57
  Speaker 4: Check this out.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, and email us so we can stay in touch with you.
• 15:01
Speaker 5: For sure We'll stay in touch and thank you for having me on.
• 15:03
Speaker 5: Thank you, we appreciate it.
• 15:04
Speaker 1: All right, we want to get in this week in auto history, because we can't postpone that for another week, because that won't be this week.
• 15:11
Speaker 3: Not this week, it'll be last week, yeah.
• 15:13
Speaker 1: So let's do it.
• 15:15
Speaker 3: In 1906, lancia was founded.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: Lancia, yes, a group of Fiat racing drivers, including Vincenzo Lancia and his friend Claudio Foglin, founded Lancia in 1906 in Turin, italy.
• 15:30
Speaker 3: Lancia achieved its commercial success with their first vehicle, the Tipo 51, a 12 horsepower car that remained in production from 1907 through to 1912.
• 15:42
Speaker 3: And Lancia earned a reputation for innovation when they became the first automobile manufacturer to offer V4 and V6 engines as well, as they were the first with independent suspensions.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: By the end of the 60s, lancia was in financial trouble and Fiat came in to help take them over, and they were accepted by the Fiat Corporation and that reorganization put Lancia back on track.
• 16:09
Speaker 3: And finally, lancia was probably pretty well known through the 60s and 70s for their rally cars and their Group B rally cars and the Lancia Stratos, which is stunningly beautiful car and a rally winner.
• 16:25
Speaker 3: For that, in 1960, the last DeSoto rolled off the assembly line.
• 16:34
Speaker 3: Thank you, God In Detroit, Michigan.
• 16:37
  Speaker 1: What year?
• 16:38
Speaker 3: 1960 and that you got to remember, desoto was originally part of the Chrysler group.
• 16:46
Speaker 3: That Imperial was the top of the line, chrysler and DeSoto were kind of midline cars and then Plymouth would be the entry level car.
• 16:56
Speaker 3: You know, when you look at General Motors they kind of had the same structure Cadillac being the top line car, oldsmobile, buick, the midline cars, pontiac, maybe a little bit more of the performance cars, and Chevrolet.
• 17:08
Speaker 1: So that's why you'd always see the entry at your DeSoto Plymouth dealer.
• 17:11
Speaker 3: Correct, correct because the DeSoto was the up level of the package.
• 17:16
Speaker 1: My dad, had a DeSoto and my mom had to get the hammer and broomstick out to hit the starter.
• 17:22
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, so yeah, to hit it, to make it.
• 17:25
Speaker 3: And the very last DeSoto that was made was it's 1961 two-door hardtop and you could have bought it back then in 1961 for $3,100.
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: That's expensive.
• 17:36
Speaker 3: And then, 20 years later, in 1980, ugo begins production.
• 17:41
Speaker 3: While the car may not be looked upon favorably due to a design, which is an old Fiat, the safety and performance issues the car had caused quite a stir when it was new.
• 17:53
Speaker 3: Both domestically and Eastern European cars were sold, and what an absolute pile of poo.
• 18:05
Speaker 1: That's putting it mildly.
• 18:07
Speaker 3: And then yesterday the only Tucker convertible was sold at auction, really, and it was not a, it was not never really a well known car that had even existed.
• 18:20
Speaker 3: The Tucker Corporation ceased production in March 3rd of 1949.
• 18:24
Speaker 3: What followed was an auction of all the remaining vehicles that Tucker had, including several that were left unfinished, with a serial number on them already, and a lot of those were all bought up While this convertible that Tucker had was secretly being built at Lanky Engineering.
• 18:43
Speaker 3: When Tucker went bankrupt, one of the engineers at Lanky Engineering bought the car, took it home with a collection of assorted parts and stuff and over his life, was in the process of completing it.
• 18:57
Speaker 3: He passed away and went on to one of his family members who they actually did complete it, and it was sold yesterday at Down's auction in Meridian Idaho and I think it went for like three and a half million dollars.
• 19:12
Speaker 3: Wow, so get by you a brand new 1949 Tucker convertible for three and a half million dollars.
• 19:19
  Speaker 1: That'd be something.
• 19:21
Speaker 3: That's this week in Auto History.
• 19:23
Speaker 1: Well, joining us now as we wrap up today's show, mr John Gray, with Gulf Coast Auto Shield.
• 19:31
Speaker 1: This has turned out to be quite an event.
• 19:33
Speaker 1: Well, you got a lot of people here.
• 19:35
Speaker 2: I appreciate you guys coming out and thank you for inviting us out.
• 19:39
Speaker 2: No problem, it's, yeah, the we had a great turnout.
• 19:42
Speaker 2: Turnout was unbelievable and I just got caught up out there so many times.
• 19:47
Speaker 2: I should have come in here a little bit earlier, but it's all right, you're fine we had it.
• 19:51
Speaker 3: It was a good show.
• 19:52
Speaker 3: We're here amongst your fans, because everybody we've had come talk to us.
• 19:56
Speaker 3: They're fans of what you do and they're fans of your people and what they do for you.
• 20:02
Speaker 2: Yeah Well, I mean, they're more fans of my people and I'm just the front of it.
• 20:08
Speaker 2: I'm just the face of it.
• 20:10
  Speaker 3: But that's all.
• 20:10
Speaker 3: Part of it, too is you've got the right people in place for sure, I got some talented people here.
• 20:15
Speaker 3: Everybody we had sit here and talk with us had said that you know the talent you have.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: Hey Mars, you turn that camera around and show up.
• 20:24
Speaker 1: Show everybody out there that's watching what we got outside.
• 20:28
Speaker 1: You can do that.
• 20:29
Speaker 1: You can just pick up the whole thing.
• 20:30
Speaker 1: Pick up the whole thing and move it out there he's got.
• 20:32
  Speaker 3: He's got power.
• 20:33
Speaker 3: That's all right, take with him there you go, that's fine.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: Anyway, we wanted you to see part of it because this is out back at the entrance to the, to the shop here, and you got some pretty cool cars, John.
• 20:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty neat yeah some neat stuff showed up, yeah, and that's already in the shop as well.
• 20:51
Speaker 1: So you know great work and we appreciate it.
• 20:55
Speaker 1: By the way, I have decided that as soon as I can, I'm going to put the wheels in the car and I'm going to bring it here, if I can get a ride back home and then I'll give you a ride back.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate that I'll get this not a big deal and I'll get a ride back home.
• 21:09
Speaker 1: You want to ride home in the Lamborghini and you can arrange that too and you can have the Corvette, because it's going to take a few days to do this, I assume.
• 21:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'll take a couple days.
• 21:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to have to put it in line with all the other stuff you got going on.
• 21:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, because I know you know, as always have a long you need it.
• 21:26
Speaker 1: It's fine with me.
• 21:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah it's.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to seeing how that works and, by the way, we're going to use the same lug nuts.
• 21:35
Speaker 1: I've decided, yeah, yeah they fit the wheels I think that they're going to fit the wheels.
• 21:42
Speaker 3: You need to get black lug nuts on the black wheels.
• 21:45
  Speaker 1: Black lug nuts.
• 21:45
  Speaker 1: Well, these are.
• 21:46
Speaker 1: Is that what I need?
• 21:47
Speaker 1: Well, I'll have to get black lug nuts.
• 21:50
Speaker 3: Or just go get some Krylon.
• 21:53
  Speaker 1: You know no.
• 21:54
Speaker 1: I am not doing the Conrad the long method.
• 21:58
Speaker 5: We're not doing that.
• 22:00
Speaker 1: We're not doing that, all right, so I'll get some.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: Matter of fact, the guy that I bought the wheels from sent me a link to Amazon.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: I can have them here tomorrow and they're black.
• 22:11
Speaker 1: So you want black ones?
• 22:12
  Speaker 1: I would.
• 22:14
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, because chrome lug nuts on black wheels they're not black, it's black chrome, so they're not black black.
• 22:20
Speaker 3: Silver lug nuts on a black chrome.
• 22:23
Speaker 3: Well, it's gonna look goofy.
• 22:25
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 22:26
  Speaker 4: I got it.
• 22:27
Speaker 1: I was gonna wait until I had them all mounted up to see how they look.
• 22:30
Speaker 3: Maybe you could get John to put the red pinstripe on.
• 22:32
  Speaker 1: No, I don't want that I don't want that.
• 22:34
Speaker 1: You just need to stay out of this part of the conversation.
• 22:36
Speaker 1: The pink pinstripe you are not doing anything with my car.
• 22:39
Speaker 1: Nothing, no suggestions, nothing, because I know what happens.
• 22:43
Speaker 1: He gets involved in it.
• 22:45
Speaker 3: It'll be in the garage with a trunk full of crap that doesn't run.
• 22:49
Speaker 3: Wait, I'm the guy who found your help fixing your air conditioning system.
• 22:53
Speaker 3: James Bragg, you did back then.
• 22:59
Speaker 1: Today, yeah, we're out, but at any rate so Gulf Coast Auto Shield.
• 23:06
Speaker 1: And is this considered?
• 23:08
Speaker 1: The West Sam Houston tollway, the South Sam Houston tollway?
• 23:11
Speaker 2: South Sam Houston tollway West.
• 23:14
  Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
• 23:15
Speaker 1: Okay, because it really doesn't go that way.
• 23:19
Speaker 1: But I get it.
• 23:20
  Speaker 1: There's a dividing line.
• 23:21
Speaker 1: It's not you'd think it'd be the Southwest freeway.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: It's not the Southwest freeway.
• 23:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's this side of the Southwest freeway that it changes from the West to the South.
• 23:30
Speaker 1: Right, I don't understand how they did that, but whatever the case may, be, and this is location one of soon to be three.
• 23:38
  Speaker 1: Yes, cool, yeah.
• 23:40
Speaker 1: So call John, get more.
• 23:43
