  Hey,
• 0:37
  do
• 0:38
  you
• 0:38
  ever
• 0:38
  step
• 0:38
  into
• 0:38
  a
• 0:38
  new
• 0:38
  year
• 0:39
  with
• 0:39
  hope
• 0:39
  in
• 0:39
  your
• 0:39
  chest?
• 0:40
  I'm
• 0:40
  talking
• 0:40
  about
• 0:40
  firing
• 0:40
  your
• 0:41
  heart,
• 0:41
  determined
• 0:42
  that
• 0:42
  this
• 0:42
  year
• 0:42
  everything
• 0:43
  changes.
• 0:44
  And
• 0:44
  then
• 0:45
  almost
• 0:45
  instantly,
• 0:46
  you're
• 0:46
  ambushed.
• 0:47
  Suddenly
• 0:47
  the
• 0:48
  sales
• 0:48
  hit,
• 0:48
  those
• 0:49
  limited
• 0:49
  time
• 0:49
  offers
• 0:50
  hit,
• 0:50
  the
• 0:50
  credit
• 0:51
  card
• 0:51
  promos
• 0:51
  hit.
• 0:52
  And
• 0:52
  every
• 0:53
  quick
• 0:53
  money
• 0:53
  shortcut
• 0:54
  promises
• 0:54
  this
• 0:55
  will
• 0:55
  fix
• 0:55
  everything.
• 0:55
  Just
• 0:56
  buy
• 0:56
  one
• 0:56
  more
• 0:56
  thing
• 0:57
  and
• 0:58
  before
• 0:58
  you
• 0:58
  know
• 0:58
  it,
• 0:59
  that
• 0:59
  strong
• 0:59
  start
• 1:00
  you
• 1:00
  prayed
• 1:00
  for
• 1:01
  starts
• 1:01
  slipping
• 1:01
  right
• 1:02
  through
• 1:02
  your
• 1:02
  fingers.
• 1:03
  Let
• 1:03
  me
• 1:03
  tell
• 1:03
  you
• 1:03
  something
• 1:04
  honest.
• 1:04
  It's
• 1:05
  not
• 1:05
  discipline,
• 1:06
  it's
• 1:06
  not
• 1:06
  desire.
• 1:07
  It's
• 1:07
  the
• 1:07
  flood
• 1:08
  of
• 1:08
  temptation
• 1:08
  that
• 1:09
  shows
• 1:09
  up
• 1:09
  the
• 1:09
  moment
• 1:09
  we
• 1:10
  try
• 1:10
  to
• 1:10
  do
• 1:10
  better.
• 1:11
  January
• 1:12
  is
• 1:12
  full
• 1:12
  of
• 1:12
  possibilities,
• 1:13
  but
• 1:13
  it's
• 1:13
  also
• 1:13
  full
• 1:14
  of
• 1:14
  traps.
• 1:14
  Because
• 1:14
  marketers
• 1:15
  know
• 1:15
  you're
• 1:16
  hopeful.
• 1:16
  They
• 1:17
  know
• 1:17
  you're
• 1:17
  tired
• 1:17
  of
• 1:17
  last
• 1:17
  year's
• 1:18
  struggle.
• 1:18
  And
• 1:18
  they
• 1:19
  know
• 1:19
  exactly
• 1:19
  how
• 1:19
  to
• 1:20
  pull
• 1:20
  you
• 1:20
  back
• 1:20
  into
• 1:20
  those
• 1:21
  old
• 1:21
  habits
• 1:21
  before
• 1:22
  you
• 1:22
  even
• 1:22
  realize
• 1:22
  it's
• 1:23
  happening.
• 1:24
  But
• 1:24
  here's
• 1:24
  the
• 1:24
  hope.
• 1:24
  It's
• 1:25
  real.
• 1:25
  Boundaries
• 1:26
  built
• 1:26
  now
• 1:27
  beat
• 1:27
  battles
• 1:28
  fought
• 1:28
  later.
• 1:28
  Today
• 1:28
  I'm
• 1:28
  going
• 1:29
  to
• 1:29
  show
• 1:29
  you
• 1:29
  the
• 1:29
  simple
• 1:30
  guardrails
• 1:30
  that
• 1:30
  protect
• 1:31
  your
• 1:31
  peace,
• 1:31
  your
• 1:32
  focus
• 1:32
  and
• 1:33
  and
• 1:33
  your
• 1:33
  wallet
• 1:33
  long
• 1:34
  before
• 1:34
  temptation
• 1:35
  ever
• 1:35
  knocks
• 1:35
  on
• 1:36
  the
• 1:36
  door.
• 1:57
  Hello
• 1:58
  and
• 1:58
  welcome
• 1:58
  to
• 1:58
  the
• 1:58
  show.
• 1:58
  I'm
• 1:59
  Ralph.
• 1:59
  Thank
• 1:59
  you
• 1:59
  so
• 2:00
  much
• 2:00
  for
• 2:00
  joining
• 2:00
  me
• 2:00
  today,
• 2:01
  helping
• 2:02
  you
• 2:02
  break
• 2:02
  that
• 2:02
  cycle
• 2:03
  of
• 2:03
  financial
• 2:03
  shame
• 2:04
  with
• 2:04
  confidence.
• 2:06
  And
• 2:06
  a
• 2:06
  listener
• 2:06
  recently
• 2:07
  told
• 2:07
  me,
• 2:07
  ralph,
• 2:07
  I
• 2:08
  get
• 2:08
  sucked
• 2:08
  into
• 2:08
  sales,
• 2:09
  those
• 2:09
  credit
• 2:09
  card
• 2:10
  offers,
• 2:10
  those
• 2:10
  quick
• 2:11
  money
• 2:11
  ideas,
• 2:11
  those
• 2:12
  limited
• 2:12
  time
• 2:12
  deals,
• 2:13
  all
• 2:13
  of
• 2:13
  it.
• 2:14
  I
• 2:14
  don't
• 2:14
  want
• 2:14
  to
• 2:15
  fall
• 2:15
  for
• 2:15
  these
• 2:15
  traps
• 2:15
  again
• 2:16
  this
• 2:16
  year.
• 2:17
  How
• 2:17
  do
• 2:17
  I
• 2:17
  resist
• 2:18
  it
• 2:18
  before
• 2:18
  it
• 2:18
  cost
• 2:18
  me
• 2:18
  my
• 2:19
  peace
• 2:19
  and
• 2:20
  my
• 2:20
  money?
• 2:22
  And
• 2:22
  friend,
• 2:22
  if
• 2:23
  that's
• 2:23
  you,
• 2:24
  you're
• 2:24
  not
• 2:24
  broken.
• 2:25
  Guess
• 2:25
  what?
• 2:25
  You're
• 2:25
  targeted.
• 2:27
  Every
• 2:27
  January
• 2:27
  we
• 2:28
  see
• 2:28
  spikes
• 2:28
  in
• 2:28
  credit
• 2:29
  card
• 2:29
  promotion.
• 2:29
  We
• 2:29
  see
• 2:30
  them
• 2:30
  everywhere.
• 2:30
  Those
• 2:30
  instant
• 2:31
  loans
• 2:32
  subscription
• 2:33
  specials.
• 2:33
  Gotta
• 2:34
  have
• 2:34
  those
• 2:34
  flashy
• 2:35
  limited
• 2:35
  time
• 2:35
  deals.
• 2:35
  He
• 2:36
  Invest
• 2:36
  now
• 2:36
  offers
• 2:37
  the
• 2:37
  Amazon
• 2:39
  Essentials.
• 2:41
  First
• 2:41
  Corinthians
• 2:42
  10:13
• 2:43
  says,
• 2:43
  no
• 2:43
  temptation
• 2:44
  has
• 2:44
  overcome
• 2:45
  you
• 2:45
  except
• 2:45
  what
• 2:45
  is
• 2:46
  common.
• 2:46
  And
• 2:47
  God
• 2:47
  will
• 2:47
  provide
• 2:47
  you
• 2:48
  a
• 2:48
  way
• 2:48
  out.
• 2:50
  That's
• 2:50
  your
• 2:50
  bedrock.
• 2:51
  See,
• 2:52
  temptation
• 2:52
  is
• 2:52
  predictable.
• 2:54
  But
• 2:54
  guess
• 2:54
  what?
• 2:55
  God's
• 2:55
  escape
• 2:56
  routes
• 2:56
  are
• 2:56
  predictable
• 2:57
  too.
• 2:58
  And
• 2:59
  I've
• 2:59
  watched
• 2:59
  families
• 2:59
  avoid
• 3:00
  financial
• 3:00
  traps
• 3:00
  by
• 3:01
  building
• 3:01
  simple
• 3:02
  pre
• 3:02
  decided
• 3:03
  guardrails.
• 3:03
  That's
• 3:03
  what
• 3:03
  we're
• 3:03
  going
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  talk
• 3:04
  about
• 3:04
  today.
• 3:05
  And
• 3:05
  I
• 3:05
  personally
• 3:05
  use
• 3:06
  these
• 3:06
  escape
• 3:06
  plans
• 3:07
  that
• 3:07
  protected
• 3:07
  me
• 3:08
  from
• 3:08
  regret.
• 3:08
  And
• 3:09
  I
• 3:09
  can
• 3:09
  tell
• 3:09
  you
• 3:09
  from
• 3:09
  experience,
• 3:10
  you
• 3:11
  can't
• 3:11
  trust
• 3:11
  your
• 3:11
  willpower
• 3:12
  in
• 3:12
  the
• 3:12
  moment,
• 3:13
  but
• 3:13
  you
• 3:13
  can
• 3:13
  sure
• 3:14
  trust
• 3:14
  the
• 3:14
  plan.
• 3:16
  And
• 3:16
  one
• 3:16
  listener
• 3:16
  created
• 3:17
  a
• 3:17
  simple
• 3:17
  temptation
• 3:18
  plan.
• 3:18
  I
• 3:18
  love
• 3:18
  this
• 3:19
  one.
• 3:19
  We're
• 3:19
  going
• 3:19
  to
• 3:19
  lean
• 3:19
  into
• 3:19
  this
• 3:20
  today.
• 3:21
  A
• 3:21
  temptation
• 3:22
  plan.
• 3:22
  This
• 3:23
  is
• 3:23
  what
• 3:23
  they
• 3:23
  did.
• 3:23
  They
• 3:23
  unscribed
• 3:24
  from
• 3:24
  all
• 3:25
  promo
• 3:25
  emails.
• 3:25
  If
• 3:25
  they
• 3:26
  got
• 3:26
  an
• 3:26
  email
• 3:26
  that
• 3:26
  was
• 3:26
  promoting
• 3:27
  something
• 3:27
  they
• 3:27
  unsubscribed.
• 3:29
  Another
• 3:29
  thing
• 3:29
  they
• 3:29
  did,
• 3:30
  they
• 3:30
  used
• 3:30
  that
• 3:30
  pause,
• 3:31
  that
• 3:31
  24
• 3:31
  hour
• 3:31
  rule
• 3:32
  before
• 3:32
  they
• 3:32
  purchased
• 3:32
  anything.
• 3:33
  Now
• 3:33
  listen,
• 3:33
  I'm
• 3:33
  gonna
• 3:33
  tell
• 3:33
  you
• 3:33
  right
• 3:34
  now,
• 3:34
  some
• 3:34
  people
• 3:34
  better
• 3:35
  take
• 3:35
  a
• 3:35
  48
• 3:35
  or
• 3:36
  72
• 3:36
  hour,
• 3:36
  hey,
• 3:37
  maybe
• 3:37
  a
• 3:37
  week
• 3:37
  for
• 3:38
  you.
• 3:38
  The
• 3:38
  other
• 3:39
  thing
• 3:39
  they
• 3:39
  did
• 3:39
  is
• 3:39
  they
• 3:40
  required
• 3:40
  what
• 3:40
  they
• 3:40
  called
• 3:40
  a
• 3:41
  30
• 3:41
  day
• 3:41
  cooling
• 3:41
  off
• 3:42
  period
• 3:42
  before
• 3:42
  taking
• 3:43
  on
• 3:43
  any
• 3:43
  new
• 3:43
  debt.
• 3:43
  I
• 3:44
  love
• 3:44
  that
• 3:44
  we're
• 3:44
  gonna
• 3:44
  talk
• 3:45
  about
• 3:45
  that
• 3:45
  a
• 3:45
  little
• 3:45
  bit
• 3:45
  today.
• 3:46
  Here's
• 3:46
  what
• 3:46
  the
• 3:46
  results
• 3:47
  were.
• 3:47
  Their
• 3:48
  spending
• 3:48
  drop,
• 3:48
  their
• 3:49
  peace
• 3:49
  rose.
• 3:50
  Guess
• 3:50
  what?
• 3:50
  Their
• 3:51
  heart
• 3:51
  felt
• 3:51
  lighter.
• 3:52
  And
• 3:52
  their
• 3:52
  freedom
• 3:53
  didn't
• 3:53
  come
• 3:53
  from
• 3:53
  trying
• 3:54
  harder.
• 3:54
  It
• 3:55
  came
• 3:55
  from
• 3:55
  deciding
• 3:56
  earlier
• 3:57
  and
• 3:57
  having
• 3:57
  a
• 3:57
  plan.
• 3:58
  So
• 3:59
  the
• 3:59
  real
• 3:59
  question
• 3:59
  is
• 4:00
  this.
• 4:00
  How
• 4:01
  do
• 4:01
  you
• 4:01
  resist
• 4:01
  that
• 4:01
  financial
• 4:02
  temptation
• 4:02
  before
• 4:03
  they
• 4:03
  show
• 4:03
  up
• 4:04
  so
• 4:04
  that
• 4:04
  you
• 4:05
  can
• 4:05
  continue
• 4:05
  to
• 4:05
  walk
• 4:05
  in
• 4:06
  freedom
• 4:06
  and
• 4:06
  not
• 4:06
  frustration
• 4:07
  in
• 4:08
  the
• 4:08
  upcoming
• 4:08
  year?
• 4:08
  Let's
• 4:09
  walk
• 4:09
  through
• 4:09
  it.
• 4:09
  Here
• 4:09
  are
• 4:10
  my
• 4:10
  four
• 4:10
  temptation
• 4:11
  breakers.
• 4:11
  Number
• 4:11
  one,
• 4:13
  name
• 4:13
  your
• 4:13
  temptations
• 4:14
  before
• 4:15
  they
• 4:15
  ambush
• 4:15
  you.
• 4:17
  You
• 4:17
  can't
• 4:17
  fight
• 4:17
  what
• 4:18
  you
• 4:18
  don't
• 4:18
  acknowledge.
• 4:20
  Here's
• 4:20
  the
• 4:20
  thing
• 4:20
  I've
• 4:21
  learned.
• 4:21
  Temptations
• 4:22
  usually
• 4:22
  follow
• 4:23
  emotional
• 4:23
  triggers.
• 4:24
  Things
• 4:24
  like
• 4:25
  stress.
• 4:26
  When
• 4:26
  we're
• 4:26
  stressed,
• 4:27
  we
• 4:27
  buy.
• 4:27
  We
• 4:27
  have
• 4:27
  that
• 4:28
  temptation.
• 4:28
  Things
• 4:28
  like
• 4:29
  loneliness.
• 4:30
  When
• 4:30
  we're
• 4:30
  feeling
• 4:30
  bad
• 4:31
  about
• 4:31
  ourselves,
• 4:31
  we
• 4:31
  feel
• 4:31
  by
• 4:32
  ourselves.
• 4:32
  Or
• 4:32
  hey,
• 4:32
  maybe
• 4:33
  for
• 4:33
  you
• 4:33
  it's
• 4:33
  just
• 4:33
  pure
• 4:33
  boredom.
• 4:34
  You're
• 4:34
  doing
• 4:34
  that
• 4:34
  desk

  I'm

  Most

  you're

  I

  what

  the

  Debt

• 5:51
  I

  that

  one.
• 5:53
  If
• 5:53
  you're
• 5:53
  going

  to
• 5:53
  go
• 5:53
  into
• 5:53
  debt
• 5:54
  for
• 5:54
  something,
• 5:54
  you
• 5:54
  got
• 5:54
  to
• 5:55
  wait
• 5:55
  30
• 5:55
  days.
• 5:56
  I
• 5:56
  can
• 5:56
  think
• 5:56
  back
• 5:56
  now
• 5:57
  how
• 5:57
  many
• 5:57
  things
• 5:57
  I
• 5:57
  bought
• 5:58
  I
• 5:58
  didn't
• 5:58
  wait
• 5:58
  30
• 5:58
  days
• 5:59
  for,
• 5:59
  and
• 5:59
  now
• 6:00
  I'm
• 6:00
  paying
• 6:00
  debt
• 6:00
  for
• 6:00
  it.
• 6:01
  Because
• 6:02
  those
• 6:02
  pressure
• 6:02
  pitches,
• 6:03
  if
• 6:03
  you're
• 6:03
  seeing
• 6:03
  one
• 6:03
  of
• 6:03
  those
• 6:03
  pressure
• 6:04
  pitches,
• 6:04
  they
• 6:04
  automatically
• 6:05
  get.
• 6:05
  Not
• 6:05
  today,
• 6:06
  you
• 6:07
  get
• 6:07
  that
• 6:07
  pressure
• 6:07
  pitch.
• 6:08
  Not
• 6:08
  today.
• 6:08
  Ain't
• 6:08
  going
• 6:09
  to
• 6:09
  happen
• 6:09
  today.
• 6:10
  Because
• 6:10
  here's
• 6:10
  the
• 6:10
  thing,
• 6:11
  if
• 6:11
  it's
• 6:11
  a
• 6:12
  real
• 6:12
  opportunity,
• 6:12
  guess
• 6:12
  what?
• 6:13
  It's
• 6:13
  still
• 6:13
  going
• 6:13
  to
• 6:13
  be
• 6:13
  there
• 6:13
  when
• 6:14
  you're
• 6:14
  calm,
• 6:14
  when
• 6:15
  you're
• 6:15
  cool
• 6:15
  and
• 6:15
  you're
• 6:15
  collected.
• 6:17
  But
• 6:17
  that
• 6:17
  pre
• 6:17
  decision
• 6:18
  kills
• 6:18
  that
• 6:18
  regret
• 6:19
  before
• 6:19
  regret
• 6:19
  even
• 6:20
  has
• 6:20
  a
• 6:20
  chance
• 6:20
  to
• 6:20
  begin.
• 6:23
  And
• 6:23
  finally
• 6:24
  replace
• 6:25
  those
• 6:25
  lies
• 6:25
  with
• 6:26
  God's
• 6:26
  truth.
• 6:27
  Because
• 6:28
  here's
• 6:28
  the
• 6:28
  real
• 6:28
  answer
• 6:29
  to
• 6:29
  the
• 6:29
  question.
• 6:31
  Temptation
• 6:31
  feeds
• 6:32
  on
• 6:32
  comparison.
• 6:33
  It
• 6:33
  feeds
• 6:34
  on
• 6:34
  scarcity.
• 6:35
  It
• 6:35
  feeds
• 6:35
  on
• 6:35
  I
• 6:36
  need
• 6:36
  this
• 6:36
  to
• 6:36
  be
• 6:36
  happy.
• 6:37
  And
• 6:37
  it
• 6:37
  feeds
• 6:37
  on
• 6:38
  this
• 6:38
  deal
• 6:38
  is
• 6:38
  too
• 6:38
  good
• 6:39
  to
• 6:39
  pass
• 6:39
  up.
• 6:39
  Have
• 6:39
  you
• 6:39
  ever
• 6:40
  felt
• 6:40
  those
• 6:40
  things,
• 6:41
  oh,
• 6:41
  look
• 6:42
  what
• 6:42
  this
• 6:42
  person
• 6:42
  has.
• 6:43
  Yes,
• 6:43
  Ralph's
• 6:43
  going
• 6:43
  to
• 6:43
  rant
• 6:44
  about
• 6:44
  social
• 6:44
  media
• 6:44
  for
• 6:45
  a
• 6:45
  second,
• 6:45
  but
• 6:45
  it
• 6:45
  breeds
• 6:46
  comparison
• 6:47
  and
• 6:47
  it
• 6:48
  breeds
• 6:48
  that.
• 6:48
  Oh,
• 6:48
  if
• 6:49
  I
• 6:49
  get
• 6:49
  this,
• 6:49
  I
• 6:49
  want
• 6:49
  to
• 6:49
  be
• 6:49
  happy,
• 6:50
  Ralph.
• 6:50
  Oh,
• 6:50
  you
• 6:51
  don't
• 6:51
  understand,
• 6:51
  Ralph.
• 6:51
  This
• 6:52
  deal
• 6:52
  is
• 6:52
  too
• 6:52
  good
• 6:52
  to
• 6:52
  pass
• 6:53
  up.
• 6:53
  If
• 6:53
  I
• 6:53
  let
• 6:53
  it
• 6:53
  go,
• 6:53
  I.
• 6:54
  I'm
• 6:54
  going
• 6:54
  to
• 6:54
  miss
• 6:54
  out.
• 6:55
  But
• 6:56
  God's
• 6:56
  truth
• 6:56
  resets
• 6:57
  the
• 6:57
  heart.
• 6:58
  See,
• 6:59
  God
• 6:59
  teaches
• 6:59
  us
• 6:59
  some
• 7:00
  very
• 7:00
  important,
• 7:01
  fundamental
• 7:01
  things.
• 7:02
  Contentment
• 7:02
  is
• 7:03
  always
• 7:03
  greater
• 7:04
  than
• 7:04
  impulse.
• 7:05
  When
• 7:05
  you're
• 7:06
  contented,
• 7:06
  you
• 7:06
  don't
• 7:07
  feel
• 7:07
  those
• 7:07
  impulses
• 7:08
  so
• 7:08
  much.
• 7:09
  That
• 7:09
  stewardship
• 7:10
  is
• 7:10
  always
• 7:10
  greater
• 7:11
  than
• 7:11
  status.
• 7:12
  Yes,
• 7:13
  it's
• 7:13
  easy
• 7:13
  to
• 7:13
  be
• 7:13
  swayed
• 7:14
  by
• 7:14
  what's
• 7:14
  around
• 7:14
  you.
• 7:15
  Look
• 7:15
  at
• 7:15
  that
• 7:15
  beautiful
• 7:16
  car
• 7:16
  they
• 7:16
  have.
• 7:17
  Look
• 7:17
  at
• 7:17
  that
• 7:17
  vacation
• 7:18
  they
• 7:18
  went
• 7:18
  on.
• 7:19
  But
• 7:20
  are
• 7:20
  you
• 7:20
  living
• 7:20
  in
• 7:20
  God's
• 7:21
  stewardship
• 7:21
  for
• 7:21
  your
• 7:21
  life?
• 7:23
  And
• 7:23
  let
• 7:24
  me
• 7:24
  tell
• 7:24
  you
• 7:24
  right
• 7:24
  now,
• 7:24
  friend,
• 7:25
  peace
• 7:25
  is
• 7:25
  always
• 7:25
  greater
• 7:26
  than
• 7:26
  pressure.
• 7:27
  You
• 7:28
  want
• 7:28
  to
• 7:28
  stay
• 7:28
  out
• 7:28
  of
• 7:28
  pressure?
• 7:29
  Live
• 7:29
  in
• 7:29
  peace.
• 7:31
  And
• 7:31
  when
• 7:31
  you
• 7:31
  renew
• 7:31
  your
• 7:32
  mind,
• 7:32
  your
• 7:32
  desires
• 7:33
  change
• 7:33
  too.
• 7:35
  You
• 7:35
  want
• 7:36
  to
• 7:36
  change
• 7:36
  your
• 7:36
  desires,
• 7:37
  change
• 7:37
  your
• 7:37
  mind,
• 7:38
  renew
• 7:38
  your
• 7:38
  mind,
• 7:39
  live
• 7:39
  in
• 7:40
  faith.
• 7:40
  Let's
• 7:40
  go
• 7:40
  to
• 7:40
  Hebrews,
• 7:41
  chapter
• 7:41
  13,
• 7:41
  verse
• 7:42
  5.
• 7:43
  Keep
• 7:43
  your
• 7:44
  lives
• 7:44
  free
• 7:44
  from
• 7:44
  the
• 7:44
  love
• 7:45
  of
• 7:45
  money
• 7:45
  and
• 7:45
  be
• 7:45
  content
• 7:45
  with
• 7:46
  what
• 7:46
  you
• 7:46
  have.
• 7:48
  You
• 7:48
  hear
• 7:48
  a
• 7:48
  theme
• 7:48
  there.
• 7:49
  Contentment.
• 7:51
  Contentment
• 7:51
  is
• 7:52
  that
• 7:52
  shield
• 7:52
  that
• 7:52
  kills
• 7:53
  comparison
• 7:53
  and
• 7:53
  impulse.
• 7:55
  You
• 7:55
  want
• 7:55
  to
• 7:55
  beat
• 7:55
  this
• 7:56
  game
• 7:56
  before
• 7:56
  it
• 7:56
  even
• 7:56
  starts?
• 7:58
  Find
• 7:58
  contentment.
• 7:59
  How
• 8:00
  about
• 8:00
  we
• 8:00
  pray
• 8:00
  together?
• 8:00
  Lord,
• 8:01
  help
• 8:01
  me
• 8:01
  to
• 8:01
  recognize
• 8:02
  temptation
• 8:02
  before
• 8:03
  it
• 8:03
  grabs
• 8:03
  me.
• 8:03
  Help
• 8:04
  me
• 8:04
  to
• 8:04
  name
• 8:04
  it,
• 8:04
  Help
• 8:04
  me
• 8:05
  to
• 8:05
  speak
• 8:05
  to
• 8:05
  it.
• 8:05
  Help
• 8:05
  me
• 8:06
  to
• 8:06
  have
• 8:06
  a
• 8:06
  plan
• 8:06
  and
• 8:07
  escape.
• 8:07
  You
• 8:07
  promised
• 8:07
  me,
• 8:07
  Lord,
• 8:08
  that
• 8:08
  you'll
• 8:08
  always
• 8:08
  give
• 8:08
  us
• 8:08
  an
• 8:09
  escape.
• 8:11
  So
• 8:11
  give
• 8:11
  Me,
• 8:11
  contentment
• 8:12
  rooted
• 8:12
  in
• 8:12
  you,
• 8:13
  not
• 8:13
  stuff,
• 8:13
  Lord,
• 8:14
  Help
• 8:15
  me
• 8:15
  to
• 8:15
  see
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  value
• 8:15
  and
• 8:16
  the
• 8:16
  stewardship
• 8:16
  and
• 8:17
  the
• 8:17
  provision
• 8:17
  you've
• 8:17
  already
• 8:17
  given
• 8:18
  me,
• 8:18
  Lord,
• 8:19
  and
• 8:20
  when
• 8:20
  I
• 8:20
  feel
• 8:20
  tempted,
• 8:21
  give
• 8:21
  me
• 8:21
  the
• 8:22
  strength
• 8:22
  to
• 8:22
  take
• 8:22
  that
• 8:22
  escape
• 8:23
  route
• 8:23
  that
• 8:23
  you've
• 8:24
  already
• 8:24
  provided
• 8:24
  for
• 8:24
  me.
• 8:25
  Help
• 8:25
  me
• 8:25
  to
• 8:25
  see
• 8:25
  it,
• 8:25
  Lord,
• 8:26
  in
• 8:26
  that
• 8:26
  darkness,
• 8:27
  in
• 8:27
  that
• 8:27
  temptation,
• 8:28
  help
• 8:28
  me
• 8:28
  to
• 8:28
  see
• 8:29
  the
• 8:29
  escape
• 8:29
  route
• 8:29
  that
• 8:29
  you've
• 8:30
  already
• 8:30
  provided.
• 8:30
  You
• 8:30
  promised
• 8:30
  it
• 8:31
  in
• 8:31
  your
• 8:31
  word,
• 8:31
  Lord.
• 8:32
  And
• 8:32
  I
• 8:32
  ask
• 8:33
  this
• 8:33
  in
• 8:33
  the
• 8:33
  name
• 8:33
  of
• 8:33
  Jesus.
• 8:35
  Amen.
• 8:35
  Okay,
• 8:35
  so
• 8:35
  here's
• 8:36
  today's
• 8:36
  practical
• 8:37
  and
• 8:37
  simple
• 8:38
  action
• 8:38
  item.
• 8:39
  I
• 8:39
  want
• 8:39
  you
• 8:39
  to
• 8:39
  write
• 8:39
  out
• 8:39
  your
• 8:40
  own
• 8:40
  temptation
• 8:41
  escape
• 8:41
  plan.
• 8:42
  It
• 8:43
  doesn't
• 8:43
  have
• 8:43
  to
• 8:43
  be
• 8:43
  complicated,
• 8:44
  just
• 8:44
  a
• 8:44
  couple
• 8:45
  of
• 8:45
  things.
• 8:45
  Maybe
• 8:45
  for
• 8:45
  you
• 8:45
  it's
• 8:46
  that
• 8:46
  impulse
• 8:46
  buying.
• 8:47
  You're
• 8:47
  battling
• 8:47
  that
• 8:47
  impulse
• 8:48
  buying.
• 8:48
  You
• 8:49
  said,
• 8:49
  ralph,
• 8:49
  here's
• 8:49
  what
• 8:49
  I'm
• 8:49
  going
• 8:50
  to
• 8:50
  do.
• 8:50
  I'm
• 8:50
  going
• 8:50
  to
• 8:50
  set
• 8:50
  that
• 8:50
  24
• 8:51
  hour
• 8:51
  rule.
• 8:52
  Maybe
• 8:52
  it's
• 8:52
  48
• 8:52
  hours,
• 8:53
  maybe
• 8:53
  it's
• 8:53
  longer.
• 8:55
  If
• 8:55
  that's
• 8:55
  battling
• 8:55
  you,
• 8:56
  write
• 8:56
  it
• 8:56
  down.
• 8:57
  Maybe
• 8:57
  for
• 8:57
  you
• 8:58
  it's
• 8:58
  those
• 8:58
  sales
• 8:58
  emails.
• 8:59
  You're
• 8:59
  like,
• 8:59
  ralph,
• 8:59
  I
• 9:00
  heard
• 9:00
  what
• 9:00
  you
• 9:00
  said
• 9:00
  loud
• 9:00
  and
• 9:00
  clear.
• 9:01
  What
• 9:01
  a
• 9:01
  great
• 9:01
  idea.
• 9:01
  I'm
• 9:02
  going
• 9:02
  to
• 9:02
  unscribe
• 9:02
  today.
• 9:03
  I'm
• 9:03
  going
• 9:03
  to
• 9:03
  unsubscribe
• 9:04
  so
• 9:04
  many
• 9:04
  times
• 9:04
  the
• 9:05
  mail
• 9:05
  servers
• 9:05
  are
• 9:05
  going
• 9:05
  to
• 9:05
  crash
• 9:06
  because
• 9:06
  they're
• 9:06
  going
• 9:06
  to
• 9:06
  be
• 9:06
  like
• 9:06
  his
• 9:07
  person's
• 9:07
  unsubscribing
• 9:07
  to
• 9:07
  everything.
• 9:09
  Great
• 9:09
  idea.
• 9:10
  Maybe
• 9:11
  for
• 9:11
  you
• 9:11
  it's
• 9:11
  that
• 9:11
  debt
• 9:12
  offer.
• 9:13
  You
• 9:13
  live
• 9:13
  in
• 9:13
  that
• 9:13
  comparison
• 9:14
  trap.
• 9:14
  You're
• 9:14
  like,
• 9:14
  oh,
• 9:14
  I
• 9:14
  could
• 9:14
  go
• 9:14
  in
• 9:14
  debt.
• 9:15
  I
• 9:15
  could
• 9:15
  get
• 9:15
  this.
• 9:16
  Maybe
• 9:16
  for
• 9:16
  you.
• 9:17
  Set
• 9:17
  that
• 9:17
  30
• 9:17
  day
• 9:17
  waiting
• 9:18
  period,
• 9:19
  put
• 9:19
  it
• 9:19
  on
• 9:19
  your
• 9:19
  laptop,
• 9:20
  put
• 9:20
  it
• 9:20
  on
• 9:20
  your
• 9:20
  phone,
• 9:21
  put
• 9:21
  it
• 9:21
  wherever
• 9:22
  temptation
• 9:22
  shows
• 9:23
  up
• 9:24
  because
• 9:24
  you
• 9:24
  can
• 9:25
  battle
• 9:25
  this
• 9:25
  if
• 9:25
  you
• 9:25
  have
• 9:26
  that
• 9:26
  escape
• 9:26
  plan,
• 9:26
  so
• 9:26
  do
• 9:27
  that
• 9:27
  today.
• 9:27
  And
• 9:28
  while
• 9:28
  you're
• 9:28
  at
• 9:28
  it
• 9:28
  today,
• 9:28
  I
• 9:28
  would
• 9:29
  love
• 9:29
  for
• 9:29
  you
• 9:29
  to
• 9:29
  join
• 9:29
  our
• 9:29
  community.
• 9:30
  It's
• 9:31
  a
• 9:31
  place
• 9:31
  where
• 9:31
  we
• 9:32
  have
• 9:32
  encouragement
• 9:33
  and
• 9:33
  we
• 9:33
  guides
• 9:34
  and
• 9:34
  we
• 9:34
  help
• 9:34
  keep
• 9:34
  you
• 9:34
  grounded.
• 9:35
  We
• 9:35
  practice
• 9:36
  gentle
• 9:36
  accountability.
• 9:37
  We
• 9:37
  celebrate
• 9:38
  those
• 9:38
  wise
• 9:38
  choices,
• 9:39
  not
• 9:39
  shame
• 9:39
  mistakes.
• 9:40
  We
• 9:41
  walk
• 9:41
  together
• 9:41
  in
• 9:41
  spiritual
• 9:42
  and
• 9:42
  financial
• 9:43
  freedom.
• 9:43
  Now,
• 9:43
  we're
• 9:43
  still
• 9:44
  a
• 9:44
  small
• 9:44
  community
• 9:44
  and
• 9:45
  it's
• 9:45
  totally
• 9:45
  free
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  join.
• 9:46
  And
• 9:46
  if
• 9:47
  you
• 9:47
  want
• 9:47
  a
• 9:47
  place
• 9:47
  where
• 9:47
  you
• 9:48
  can
• 9:48
  interact,
• 9:48
  where
• 9:48
  you
• 9:48
  can
• 9:49
  exchange
• 9:49
  ideas
• 9:49
  and
• 9:49
  grow
• 9:50
  together,
• 9:50
  come
• 9:50
  be
• 9:51
  part
• 9:51
  of
• 9:51
  it
• 9:51
  from
• 9:51
  the
• 9:51
  beginning.
• 9:52
  Come
• 9:52
  to
• 9:52
  FinanciallyConfidentChristian.com/join
• 9:55
  again.
• 9:56
  That's
• 9:56
  FinanciallyConfidentChristian.com/Join.
• 10:00
  You're
• 10:00
  stronger
• 10:00
  than
• 10:01
  your
• 10:01
  temptation
• 10:02
  and
• 10:02
  God
• 10:03
  always
• 10:03
  provides
• 10:03
  an
• 10:03
  escape.
• 10:04
  You
• 10:04
  don't
• 10:04
  have
• 10:04
  to
• 10:04
  be
• 10:04
  swayed,
• 10:05
  you
• 10:05
  don't
• 10:05
  have
• 10:05
  to
• 10:05
  be
• 10:05
  pressured
• 10:06
  and
• 10:06
  you
• 10:06
  don't
• 10:06
  have
• 10:06
  to
• 10:06
  be
• 10:06
  pulled
• 10:07
  in
• 10:07
  every
• 10:07
  direction.
• 10:08
  With
• 10:08
  every
• 10:08
  clear
• 10:09
  boundary
• 10:09
  and
• 10:09
  a
• 10:09
  content
• 10:10
  heart.
• 10:10
  You
• 10:10
  can
• 10:11
  walk
• 10:11
  this
• 10:11
  year
• 10:11
  with
• 10:12
  confidence
• 10:12
  and
• 10:13
  peace,
• 10:13
  you
• 10:14
  can
• 10:14
  do
• 10:14
  this.
• 10:15
  Be
• 10:15
  a
• 10:15
  financially
• 10:15
  confident
• 10:16
  Christian.
• 10:16
  I
• 10:16
  have
• 10:17
  confidence
• 10:17
  in
• 10:17
  you.
• 10:17
  You
• 10:18
  can
• 10:18
  overcome
• 10:19
  these

  temptations.
• 10:19
  You
• 10:19
  can
• 10:20
  do
• 10:20
  this.
• 10:21
  So

• 10:23
  you,
