- 0:00Carmen Lezeth: Hey girl, how you doing.
- 0:01Carmen Lezeth: Hey everyone, welcome to All About the Joy.
- 0:04Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia and I are early because, you know, we chatted and we thought we'd share it, and then I'll delete it all for the podcast, because that's usually what I do.
- 0:12Carmen Lezeth: Okay, you're going to have to tell me about your week, but I'll just tell you.
- 0:17Carmen Lezeth: So I have a.
- 0:19Carmen Lezeth: This tooth is actually really gray and black.
- 0:21Carmen Lezeth: I need a new veneer and you know, if Tony hears that she's so bougie with a veneer, no, so this is a dead tooth.
- 0:35Carmen Lezeth: This is the tooth that got knocked out when I was in color guard, so it's not even like a tooth tooth.
- 0:38Carmen Lezeth: And for some reason I woke up the other day and I noticed it was gray and I was freaking out.
- 0:45Carmen Lezeth: So I went and I saw my dentist, who you know I love.
- 0:47Carmen Lezeth: He's in my second book, I love Dr Vaziri, but anyway, I've been seeing him for like 25 years, I know, but he went in, he cleaned it out and stuff.
- 0:56Carmen Lezeth: Hey, tony, how you doing?
- 0:57Carmen Lezeth: And he can't get the gray out.
- 1:01Cynthia: So I need a new veneer, even if they like bleach it or something.
- 1:07Carmen Lezeth: He bleached it on the inside.
- 1:07Carmen Lezeth: You can't bleach my teeth any more than they're already.
- 1:09Carmen Lezeth: They're way too.
- 1:09Carmen Lezeth: My teeth are already like way too white, and that's not even bleached.
- 1:12Carmen Lezeth: That's hydrogen peroxide, people.
- 1:14Carmen Lezeth: That's the trick, because that's what's in the white strips that everybody uses.
- 1:20Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, did you know that?
- 1:22Carmen Lezeth: You know that because you work in the hospital.
- 1:24Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, so so I rinse with hydrogen peroxide, but anyways.
- 1:28Carmen Lezeth: So he bleached the inside, like when he was in there.
- 1:31Carmen Lezeth: He bleached the inside, but it's still.
- 1:32Carmen Lezeth: It's like translucent.
- 1:35Cynthia: Huh, I know, are you going to have to put a whole new one, or?
- 1:38Carmen Lezeth: A new veneer?
- 1:39Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, because this is a dead tooth.
- 1:42Carmen Lezeth: This isn't a real tooth.
- 1:43Carmen Lezeth: It's a real tooth, but it's a dead tooth.
- 1:44Carmen Lezeth: This isn't a real tooth.
- 1:45Carmen Lezeth: It's a real tooth, but it's a dead tooth.
- 1:46Carmen Lezeth: Hey, melanie, how are you girls?
- 1:49Carmen Lezeth: Night girls.
- 1:50Carmen Lezeth: Oh sorry, I just I ruined it I was like girls night.
- 1:56Carmen Lezeth: I was like, oh, damn it, how you doing rick, good, good how you.
- 2:01Carmen Lezeth: We're talking about the tragedy of needing a new veneer for my tooth.
- 2:07Rick Costa: Oh.
- 2:08Carmen Lezeth: I know it's so sad, anyways, but I'm working with lighting so you can't really see how black.
- 2:13Carmen Lezeth: It's so funny because I'm so dramatic.
- 2:14Carmen Lezeth: I was at the dentist yesterday and I was like it's black.
- 2:20Cynthia: It is to me my son.
- 2:22Rick Costa: he was really little, he must have been like six or something.
- 2:25Rick Costa: He was playing video games and then he got, for some reason, got on top of this chair and then his feet slipped, fell forward and broke his tooth and I was like he goes, dad.
- 2:42Rick Costa: Look.
- 2:42Rick Costa: I was like what the what's going on happened?
- 2:45Carmen Lezeth: he goes, he just broke the tooth.
- 2:47Rick Costa: I think I broke it like it broke off and I go where is it?
- 2:50Rick Costa: I don't know.
- 2:51Rick Costa: I was like, did you swallow?
- 2:52Rick Costa: He goes maybe.
- 2:53Rick Costa: I was like, oh my god, your mother's gonna kill me, like it's my fault.
- 2:57Rick Costa: But I said, does it hurt?
- 2:58Rick Costa: He goes.
- 2:59Rick Costa: No, I don't feel anything.
- 3:00Rick Costa: I was like, oh, okay, well melanie just said hi rick whenever oh, hello, hello, hello, hello.
- 3:05Carmen Lezeth: So what did you do?
- 3:07Rick Costa: So he ended up having to go to the dentist.
- 3:09Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, my tooth got knocked out by a rifle.
- 3:11Carmen Lezeth: Oh, what A spinning rifle.
- 3:13Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, it got hit in the mouth and it got knocked out.
- 3:16Carmen Lezeth: And when Laura comes by and visits Laura Wall, it was her mom who took the.
- 3:20Carmen Lezeth: I don't know.
- 3:21Carmen Lezeth: Now Jerry Glover said it was him.
- 3:22Carmen Lezeth: I don't know, everyone's fighting over who saved my tooth.
- 3:25Carmen Lezeth: I shouldn't say that Mrs Wall isn't fighting at all, but I remember it being Mrs Wall.
- 3:29Carmen Lezeth: But Jerry said it doesn't matter, they stuck the tooth back in there and that's why it's a little bit like off.
- 3:36Carmen Lezeth: But anyway, I had my dentist.
- 3:38Carmen Lezeth: It got taken out, they did a root canal, they fixed it with a fake tooth, with the veneer, but the bleeding that was going in, there was something going on inside of it.
- 3:47Carmen Lezeth: They cleaned it out, they bleached it.
- 3:48Carmen Lezeth: This is the second visit, and so now I need a new veneer to go back again and I know I'm vain as all hell.
- 3:55Carmen Lezeth: Was it a baby tooth?
- 3:56Carmen Lezeth: It wasn't.
- 3:57Carmen Lezeth: It was my front tooth.
- 3:58Carmen Lezeth: It was an adult tooth.
- 3:59Carmen Lezeth: Melanie, I wish it was a baby tooth.
- 4:01Carmen Lezeth: Anyway, that's my tragedy this week.
- 4:06Carmen Lezeth: I need a new veneer.
- 4:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm so bummed about it.
- 4:11Cynthia: I know, tony was here.
- 4:12Cynthia: We called you bougie, I know.
- 4:14Carmen Lezeth: Tony's not here to say bougie, I know right.
- 4:16Carmen Lezeth: Well, it's so funny because it's going to cost like $1,800, so I'm not doing it.
- 4:21Carmen Lezeth: I know For one tooth.
- 4:24Carmen Lezeth: One tooth, because it's a veneer.
- 4:26Carmen Lezeth: So it's going to have to take that off and it takes two weeks too.
- 4:29Carmen Lezeth: Can you imagine getting all your teeth done?
- 4:33Carmen Lezeth: That's why people have the perfect smiles and everything.
- 4:36Rick Costa: I used to watch a guy on YouTube and he actually did that and he wore a mask over his face for three weeks until it felt like it was normal, Because he had scars like scars, but you could tell he made your stuff.
- 4:49Rick Costa: But now his teeth are like pristine Perfect.
- 4:51Carmen Lezeth: I mean all the celebrity.
- 4:52Carmen Lezeth: I mean you can look at old movies with Tom Cruise.
- 4:55Carmen Lezeth: I mean he has veneer, you can see everybody all of a sudden has perfect teeth.
- 4:58Carmen Lezeth: I don't know why he'd have scars.
- 5:00Carmen Lezeth: What scars.
- 5:01Carmen Lezeth: I'm so confused.
- 5:02Rick Costa: It wasn't like scars, but it was like I saw these red marks you never had up here.
- 5:05Rick Costa: I don't know.
- 5:07Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if it's.
- 5:07Carmen Lezeth: Dentistry has probably changed since then.
- 5:10Carmen Lezeth: Maybe there are no scars If you have a good dentist, like my dentist, dr Vaziri, who you know I'm always promoting because I love him.
- 5:17Carmen Lezeth: Yes, he's a Beverly Hills doctor, I'll just say it right now, but he wasn't there when I first met him.
- 5:22Carmen Lezeth: I met him when I was out here in West LA.
- 5:24Carmen Lezeth: That's when I first met him.
- 5:25Carmen Lezeth: Melanie said I should have clarified.
- 5:27Carmen Lezeth: I was referring to Rick's son's tooth.
- 5:30TikToker @imhassanrahim: Was it a baby tooth.
- 5:32Carmen Lezeth: Oh, your son's tooth.
- 5:33Carmen Lezeth: I thought she was asking me, he was six.
- 5:34Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, it was probably a baby tooth.
- 5:36Rick Costa: Maybe, and there was no blood, he said, and I was like all right.
- 5:41Carmen Lezeth: But, melanie, how come you don't care if my tooth was a baby tooth?
- 5:45Carmen Lezeth: I was in pain.
- 5:46Carmen Lezeth: I was a child, honey.
- 5:49Rick Costa: There was blood involved.
- 5:51Carmen Lezeth: There was blood, it was the whole front tooth.
- 5:54Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, I don't know.
- 5:56Carmen Lezeth: I think teeth are really important and I was blessed with when I was younger Cynthia I don't know if you remember this because you're so much younger than I am but they used to have those people that came from colleges and they would do free dental care.
- 6:09Carmen Lezeth: They still do that.
- 6:15Carmen Lezeth: They still do Okay, so that's how I had.
- 6:16Carmen Lezeth: So I used to have teeth all like people.
- 6:16Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if people have seen it, but maybe I'll show it next time.
- 6:18Carmen Lezeth: When you look at my pictures when I'm really young, like in the seventh and eighth grade, I have all teeth, I'm all bucked.
- 6:24Carmen Lezeth: I'm like this and I have all like buck teeth and everything.
- 6:27Carmen Lezeth: I had wait for it.
- 6:29Carmen Lezeth: Too many teeth for my mouth, because my mouth is actually pretty small.
- 6:34Carmen Lezeth: Most people, most adults, have 33 teeth.
- 6:38Carmen Lezeth: I think 32 or 33.
- 6:39Carmen Lezeth: I have 23.
- 6:40Carmen Lezeth: See, I'm so dainty, I'm so dainty and bougie, I have a friend that her teeth are like small.
- 6:57Carmen Lezeth: I have very tiny, a tiny mouth.
- 6:58Carmen Lezeth: Thank you, tony, that's 32.
- 6:59Carmen Lezeth: So those people, the people that came in, did a really great job, because when I became an adult and I met with this professional dentist, dr Rivers, they did such a great job with my teeth.
- 7:07Carmen Lezeth: I also got braces through them.
- 7:09Carmen Lezeth: And shout out to all those college students and people who do work in inner city neighborhoods or poor neighborhoods and suburbs or whatever, and help people, because I think your smile really matters.
- 7:22Carmen Lezeth: To me it does, Melanie said I thought you were talking recently.
- 7:26Carmen Lezeth: That's all right, I forgive you, girl.
- 7:28Carmen Lezeth: I forgive you.
- 7:29Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm just kidding, melanie, I'm just messing with you, I'm just jealous.
- 7:33Rick Costa: We are so alike Melanie.
- 7:36Carmen Lezeth: I have a small mouth too, I get it.
- 7:38Rick Costa: I have a friend that her teeth are like small I don't know how to describe it so like when she smiles it almost looks like she don't have teeth because they're just short.
- 7:47Rick Costa: They're very short and she keeps begging the no, you don't see nothing.
- 7:50Rick Costa: It's like she opens her mouth and it's just do you have teeth Because they're so short and small?
- 7:55Rick Costa: And she keeps begging the dentist.
- 7:56Rick Costa: Can we please do something?
- 7:57Rick Costa: He goes, but your teeth are perfect.
- 7:59Rick Costa: Don't do anything.
- 8:01Carmen Lezeth: They're perfect teeth.
- 8:01Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I don't think if you need to do anything, but I get it because your smile matters.
- 8:05Carmen Lezeth: I think that's the thing I walk in the room and I know it's my smile that people are attracted to.
- 8:11Carmen Lezeth: I'm not trying to be rude, but it's the first thing in people.
- 8:14Rick Costa: It's funny because UK people say that we make fun of their teeth, but then they say Americans are so vain about their teeth.
- 8:21Carmen Lezeth: I'm totally vain about their teeth.
- 8:22Carmen Lezeth: I'm totally vain about my teeth, totally.
- 8:23Carmen Lezeth: I'm telling you my teeth is black and I know you guys can't see it.
- 8:25Carmen Lezeth: I'm telling you.
- 8:26Carmen Lezeth: I text him today because my dentist texts me to see how I'm doing, because I was so upset when I left yesterday.
- 8:33Carmen Lezeth: I wasn't crying or anything, I was just like it's $1,800.
- 8:37Carmen Lezeth: I don't want to do it.
- 8:38Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, but there's nothing else he can do about it.
- 8:42Carmen Lezeth: So he texted me today and I'll tell you what I wrote, so I'm not lying.
- 8:47Carmen Lezeth: And I sent a picture of my teeth so he could see them.
- 8:51Carmen Lezeth: From the next day I wrote okay, here it is In the big scheme of things.
- 8:58Carmen Lezeth: Oh wait, let me tell you what he wrote, what they wrote.
- 9:00Carmen Lezeth: Carmen, this is the dental office of Charles Vazir, checking in with you to see how you are doing after yesterday's procedure.
- 9:06Carmen Lezeth: Please let us know, okay.
- 9:09Carmen Lezeth: And then I wrote in the big scheme of things, I'm absolutely fine.
- 9:11Carmen Lezeth: I'm sad about my tooth but it's cosmetic and I will live.
- 9:15Carmen Lezeth: Can you see it if I put it up there?
- 9:19Carmen Lezeth: Because I know you guys don't believe me Not you, tony.
- 9:21Carmen Lezeth: Tony's the only one who doesn't believe me.
- 9:26Carmen Lezeth: I made the mistake of whitening my teeth last night for 30 minutes hoping it would help.
- 9:29Carmen Lezeth: It did not, but I'm laughing because I'm just a normal girl who's as vain as anyone else.
- 9:31Carmen Lezeth: Here is the morning pick.
- 9:34Carmen Lezeth: So I whitened them last night and I thought it would help because they were like having some.
- 9:39Carmen Lezeth: But it made it worse.
- 9:40Carmen Lezeth: It was stupid.
- 9:41Rick Costa: I should have just left it.
- 9:42Rick Costa: Yeah, it does actually make it worse yeah, okay, that is my trauma cynthia.
- 9:49Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia came online and she was like it's been a week, I'm like girl, I know, and then I'm all like I need a veneer.
- 9:56Carmen Lezeth: So go ahead, girl, let's talk about real stuff how you doing what happened this week.
- 10:01Cynthia: Oh no, it's been crazy busy, and remember how I'm by myself in the office because the other girl's on vacation, so we've been getting so many cases that are coming in and I've been just like going crazy just doing all this stuff.
- 10:16Cynthia: That even the doctor noticed and I said to him I said, oh my god, it's been a crazy week.
- 10:21Cynthia: He goes, you've been doing great he's, you've been keeping up with everything he goes and you're by yourself.
- 10:27Cynthia: He's like you're doing a really good job.
- 10:28Cynthia: So I felt so great.
- 10:31Carmen Lezeth: I wish I could quickly go back to where are we at Week six?
- 10:36Carmen Lezeth: Go back six weeks to when you first started and I'm sorry, rick, maybe you can refresh my memory and she was like I don't know, I just have nothing to do.
- 10:46Carmen Lezeth: I hate when I have nothing to do and I just wish somebody would teach me that woman she won't teach me anything she doesn't want to teach me.
- 10:54Tony D.: I hope I made the right decision, okay.
- 10:59Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but I'm glad he gave you props and congratulations so you feel good, you feel like you got this yeah, and then anything I don't know, like he's even told me.
- 11:14Cynthia: You know, if there's something you don't know, if you question he's just asked me he goes, don't you worry about it.
- 11:18Carmen Lezeth: So he's really cool so is it just one doctor now, because before you had a whole bunch yeah, there were two.
- 11:25Cynthia: One was semi-retired, but he recently just passed away, two weeks ago.
- 11:28Cynthia: Yeah, he was really sick while you were there.
- 11:31Cynthia: Yeah, so now it's down to one doctor, but we're still like getting all the cases for both will they get another doctor probably till?
- 11:40Cynthia: Yeah I think I think they have someone that's coming in to take over.
- 11:46Carmen Lezeth: Oh well, that's kind of sad.
- 11:47Carmen Lezeth: I know you don't let.
- 11:48Carmen Lezeth: You knew him for a minute, but still.
- 11:49Carmen Lezeth: Melanie just said I had a dentist that would check in after procedure.
- 11:56Carmen Lezeth: He retired.
- 11:56Carmen Lezeth: The people that took over his practice are not as good.
- 11:57Carmen Lezeth: I need a new dentist, melanie.
- 11:58Carmen Lezeth: If you're going to come out here to Beverly Hills, girl, you can stay with me.
- 12:01Carmen Lezeth: Dr Charles in Missouri, look it.
- 12:04Carmen Lezeth: Girl, you can stay with me.
- 12:07Carmen Lezeth: Dr Charles in Missouri, look at it.
- 12:07Carmen Lezeth: I am really a proponent of people making sure they have a great dentist, a great medical internist or what do you call it.
- 12:11Carmen Lezeth: Like my regular doctor I don't know what she's called Primary care, primary care physician and a good GYN doctor is good too.
- 12:18Carmen Lezeth: I also have her.
- 12:19Carmen Lezeth: She's separate and I do.
- 12:20Rick Costa: I'm just saying and a good therapist.
- 12:26Rick Costa: Why are you making fun of me, Rick?
- 12:26Rick Costa: No, because I'm a man and I said that to be funny.
- 12:28Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you guys should have a good doctor too, right?
- 12:31Rick Costa: Not for GYN though.
- 12:35Carmen Lezeth: Don't you guys have like proctology people or something?
- 12:39Rick Costa: I don't want to talk about it.
- 12:42Carmen Lezeth: Oh, but GYN is no big deal Okay.
- 12:45Rick Costa: Look at it.
- 12:46Carmen Lezeth: No from me, you do the same thing with us, but with a big wench thing.
- 12:50Carmen Lezeth: So we're all in the same boat here.
- 12:52Carmen Lezeth: Okay, we adults, uh, speaking of adults, I just wrote a bad thing on snoop dogg's uh instagram.
- 13:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm sure I'm gonna get cut off.
- 13:01Carmen Lezeth: I got mad.
- 13:02Carmen Lezeth: I know I love snoop dog, right, don't we the Olympics?
- 13:05Carmen Lezeth: He was so brilliant, whatever.
- 13:07Carmen Lezeth: So why did he post today this nasty thing?
- 13:10Carmen Lezeth: Because he thinks it's funny and I think it was inappropriate and I said so.
- 13:16Carmen Lezeth: I'm sure, with his, I think it's 13 million followers.
- 13:22Carmen Lezeth: He going to see mine, however, millions, I don't even know how many no, boss did you see what garbage.
- 13:32Carmen Lezeth: But I did it before I came on here and I'm always so hesitant, right when it's a celebrity, that we are like beloved or whatever.
- 13:39Carmen Lezeth: But other people were writing stuff too, but I said it mean to him.
- 13:42Carmen Lezeth: They were talking about how terrible it was what he posted, but I was like he should know better.
- 13:46Carmen Lezeth: I was like an old lady.
- 13:48Cynthia: At least you weren't the only one, though, that thought it was bad.
- 13:52Carmen Lezeth: You guys haven't seen it.
- 13:53Carmen Lezeth: I'm not going to tell what it is because I don't want to promote it.
- 13:55Carmen Lezeth: It's totally old school Snoop crap.
- 13:59Carmen Lezeth: It's kind of like did you guys see the closing ceremonies?
- 14:03Carmen Lezeth: Not the French one, but the American one.
- 14:05Carmen Lezeth: Did you see the clip?
- 14:05Carmen Lezeth: No, you didn't.
- 14:08Carmen Lezeth: We should watch it, but I don't have it prepared.
- 14:10Carmen Lezeth: It's actually really good.
- 14:12Carmen Lezeth: They did this whole thing.
- 14:13Carmen Lezeth: Okay, the French closed their ceremonies and it was exactly very French, very classy, very, to me, long and art-filled.
- 14:24Carmen Lezeth: I didn't understand much of what was going on, but they had the narrator telling us what some of the symbolic things are.
- 14:30Carmen Lezeth: That happens no matter what country you're watching, if it's not your own country, because we don't know what we don't know.
- 14:36Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean and I'm not that intelligent, I'm not even trying to like, I'm not that cultured, so I don't know everything.
- 14:41Carmen Lezeth: But it was was beautiful.
- 14:43Carmen Lezeth: And then what happened is, all of a sudden you saw the light look up at the top of the stadium and of course it was Tom Cruise, and he jumped.
- 14:52Carmen Lezeth: He didn't, he jumped off of there and then landed on his feet perfectly onto the.
- 14:59Carmen Lezeth: You guys should watch it, it's cute.
- 15:01Carmen Lezeth: And then he got the flag, the olympic flag from simone biles, and then there was this whole thing.
- 15:07Carmen Lezeth: He gets onto a jet and he parachutes out and he ends up on the hollywood sign holla, and it has the olympic rings where the o is hollywood.
- 15:16Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I didn't see that cool.
- 15:17Carmen Lezeth: And then a guy on a bike takes it from tom cruise and then they go out to Venice beach I think it was Venice beach and when they end up there it's Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre and they're singing.
- 15:31Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, and it's just looked really beautiful and that is such a contrast.
- 15:35Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 15:35Carmen Lezeth: It was cool and I love Snoop.
- 15:38Carmen Lezeth: I think he's now.
- 15:41Carmen Lezeth: I really like him, right Like recently with the whole Martha Stewart thing and you know like.
- 15:48Carmen Lezeth: But you know you can take.
- 15:49Carmen Lezeth: You can take the girl out of the ghetto.
- 15:51Carmen Lezeth: You can't sometimes take the ghetto out of the girl.
- 15:53Carmen Lezeth: I'm just gonna say sometimes it comes out.
- 15:57Carmen Lezeth: I know sometimes it just comes out and I think that's what he did on Instagram.
- 16:03Carmen Lezeth: But even when he came out and sang, first he had, which I thought was also inappropriate and then I realized I'm getting old.
- 16:09Carmen Lezeth: There was a woman, a dancer, one dancer with the Hoochie Mama shorts and the whole Hoochie Mama dancing for 30 seconds next to him and I was like there was no need for that.
- 16:20Carmen Lezeth: There's no need.
- 16:20Carmen Lezeth: There's no need for that.
- 16:22Carmen Lezeth: The reminder of this.
- 16:23Carmen Lezeth: It was fine, but it wasn't necessary.
- 16:27Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 16:27Carmen Lezeth: And she wasn't that bad, but I kept thinking she going to go that bad, you know what I mean.
- 16:32Carmen Lezeth: Like she was going to start doing some inappropriate stuff, but she didn't.
- 16:35Carmen Lezeth: So I brought that to the table because we all know back in the day, still, she wasn't necessary Just throwing that out there.
- 16:43Carmen Lezeth: But then he walks over and he's with Dr Dre and it's so cool, and then everyone's on the beach.
- 16:48Carmen Lezeth: You should watch it.
- 16:49Carmen Lezeth: I didn't know you guys hadn't seen it you guys didn't watch the Olympics.
- 16:54Cynthia: I watched some of it.
- 16:54Cynthia: I did watch the breakdancing oh stop, with Ray gone, okay.
- 17:01Cynthia: So I didn't watch the women's one.
- 17:03Cynthia: I missed the women's one.
- 17:10Cynthia: I missed the women's one.
- 17:11Cynthia: So I only caught like little bits and pieces of like when they would recap and stuff like that.
- 17:14Cynthia: Yeah, I saw the clip of Ray gun.
- 17:15Cynthia: The men's one, I have to say, was absolutely amazing.
- 17:18Carmen Lezeth: So let's back up because, remember, we're doing the audio and I know a lot of people have already seen the Olympics, but let's talk about what happened.
- 17:23Carmen Lezeth: So, for the first time and I think the last time, uh, break dancing was brought into the Olympic world.
- 17:31Carmen Lezeth: They had already decided, by the way, before competition started for break dancing, that it would not be in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, so there's no correlation there and this happens.
- 17:44Carmen Lezeth: They bring in, they take out.
- 17:45Carmen Lezeth: I think cricket had the same thing.
- 17:48Carmen Lezeth: Cricket came in.
- 17:48Carmen Lezeth: It's coming back.
- 17:49Carmen Lezeth: When it comes to Los Angeles, you know what I mean.
- 17:51Carmen Lezeth: They don't always have.
- 17:52Carmen Lezeth: Personally, as a former dancer, and a former break dancer, I don't understand why break dancing was in an Olympic sport.
- 17:58Carmen Lezeth: It is amazing and it is a sport and it takes a lot of athletic ability, but it's a it's dancing, so it's just a hard thing for me, even though there is competition for dancing.
- 18:10Carmen Lezeth: It's different, it's different, but that's a whole other controversy.
- 18:14Carmen Lezeth: But ray gun is that her name?
- 18:16Carmen Lezeth: I don't know I'm.
- 18:18Carmen Lezeth: She was from australia and she came out and represented her country and it was it really.
- 18:28Carmen Lezeth: It's.
- 18:28Carmen Lezeth: Anyone who's listening, who has never done breakdancing, would have done a better job breaking.
- 18:33Carmen Lezeth: She was just horrible and the memes were hilarious.
- 18:37Rick Costa: But I was like yeah, I keep seeing memes of somebody looking awful girl, that's her.
- 18:42Carmen Lezeth: Oh my gosh, yeah with the green outfit yeah, here's the thing, listen, she was not definitely a break dancer at all.
- 18:51Cynthia: I don't know how she made it to the olympics.
- 18:53Cynthia: I gave her 100 credit for having the courage to actually go out there and do it.
- 18:57Cynthia: That's not.
- 18:58Cynthia: She had fun, whatever that I give her credit for that, no.
- 19:01Carmen Lezeth: But but that dancing, I'm going to tell you I have a different take on it.
- 19:06Carmen Lezeth: I was pissed, and I think a lot of dancers or not even break dancers, I think, people in the world of dancing it was so disrespectful.
- 19:15Carmen Lezeth: The way she became a representative is because her and her husband created I don't know what all the ins and outs are, but they created their own competition in order to qualify and then didn't let the actual people who could break dance compete, because you have to qualify, like world champions, like Simone Biles has to qualify to get to the next level.
- 19:39Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 19:40Carmen Lezeth: So they held their own and then got.
- 19:44Carmen Lezeth: She's a professor, by the way, so she studies the art of break dancing, so number one and I don't know if that's her profession, but that was part of the thing that was going on was like you cannot be studying dance and then think you a dancer.
- 19:58Carmen Lezeth: But what I think was and this came from a TikToker felt this, but I couldn't verbalize it he said the problem with this is that it disrespected an art form that was created in new york you know what I mean that has been always undermined as not like a legit form of dance, form of athleticism and it made it like people made fun of it, whereas it could have been a place where people could have seen it and been like oh my God, it couldn't.
- 20:28Cynthia: And instead I felt about the men's competition.
- 20:31Cynthia: It was, like I tell you, it was amazing.
- 20:33Cynthia: I literally watched it from beginning to end and it was just amazing yeah.
- 20:38Carmen Lezeth: I just think it's sad.
- 20:39Carmen Lezeth: I think, and I felt that disrespect and I didn't watch the men's cause I was pissed.
- 20:42Carmen Lezeth: I was like this is a bunch of crap.
- 20:44Carmen Lezeth: That's the point.
- 20:45Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 20:46Carmen Lezeth: I know people in my neighborhood I live in a very white neighborhood who could break dance better than she could.
- 20:51Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, and I was shook by it.
- 20:55Carmen Lezeth: I was shook, that was anyway.
- 20:57Carmen Lezeth: It was anyways.
- 20:58Carmen Lezeth: Check out the memes.
- 20:59Carmen Lezeth: They're funny, though there are people who have dogs who are like scratching and they put music.
- 21:04Carmen Lezeth: There are people who have dogs who are like scratching and they put music.
- 21:06Carmen Lezeth: So funny.
- 21:06Carmen Lezeth: I mean it's funny, but it's not.
- 21:08Carmen Lezeth: But it is, but it's funny.
- 21:10Rick Costa: It makes me think of American Idol when they have the auditions and people go out there singing and then who told you you could sing Like?
- 21:16Rick Costa: Why are you wasting everybody's time?
- 21:18Carmen Lezeth: Oh wait, they show that I don't watch American Idol.
- 21:22Rick Costa: Oh my gosh, I haven't watched it in years.
- 21:23Rick Costa: But yeah, they'd show the auditions and some of them were absolutely horrible, like why are you here?
- 21:28Rick Costa: What are you doing?
- 21:29Rick Costa: You can't sing.
- 21:29Cynthia: They do that.
- 21:30Cynthia: For what do you call it?
- 21:31Cynthia: Oh my God, what are the words?
- 21:32Cynthia: Exposure or yeah, just to get ratings.
- 21:35Rick Costa: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, to get ratings they could sing who some of them were ended up being famous.
- 21:49Rick Costa: This asian guy, he was like trying to sing ricky barton she bangs.
- 21:51Rick Costa: It was so bad, but he became famous because it was so bad, totally not that famous, because you can't remember his name.
- 21:56Carmen Lezeth: So it's like something ho, I think, I don't know I remember the first time I did a short movie here in California and like Andrea went, richard went, like all my, and they were like you were so good.
- 22:10Carmen Lezeth: I'm like okay, great, whatever you know what I mean and I was like sure, and I did a theater performance until, like, I've done all these little things.
- 22:18Carmen Lezeth: Of course, all my friends always show up.
- 22:19Carmen Lezeth: They're so amazing whatever they show up and being supportive and I'm like sure, whatever.
- 22:24Carmen Lezeth: But it wasn't until I got a critique in the LA times.
- 22:29Carmen Lezeth: They panned the entire play but they were like Carmen Lisette Suarez, like I have that shit in my house, man, I have that thing.
- 22:35Carmen Lezeth: I haven't framed it Cause I'm not that, but I do have it.
- 22:38Carmen Lezeth: I have it, I got it.
- 22:39Carmen Lezeth: What do you call it?
- 22:40Carmen Lezeth: Laminated?
- 22:41Rick Costa: Laminated.
- 22:41Rick Costa: What do you?
- 22:41Carmen Lezeth: call it Laminated.
- 22:42Carmen Lezeth: Laminated Because that's when I felt like you know, because your friends will tell you.
- 22:49Carmen Lezeth: But then if you get a critique but here's the thing, just to back up for a moment, because that was me doing theater and doing acting, which is not my forte as far as I'm concerned, I'm really more of a performer dancer that's what I always claim to be, even though I don't do it anymore.
- 23:04Carmen Lezeth: But the one thing I want to be clear about is that you should never take criticisms to heart, because if you take the criticisms that are, I was like I'm going to sing.
- 23:24Carmen Lezeth: Y'all know I can't sing, but I can hear that I can't sing.
- 23:29Carmen Lezeth: But if you were all just encouraging me, I might think I'm good enough.
- 23:34Rick Costa: Yeah, some people don't know, they can't sing and that's sad.
- 23:38Carmen Lezeth: I can hold a tune, but it's not the right.
- 23:41Carmen Lezeth: It's the right octave, but it doesn't sound good.
- 23:44Carmen Lezeth: But it's not the right.
- 23:45Rick Costa: It's the right octave, but it doesn't sound good.
- 23:46Cynthia: What amazes me?
- 23:46Rick Costa: too, my friend that helped me record almost all the songs I have.
- 23:49Rick Costa: He plays guitar, he plays piano, he plays all this stuff he can't sing.
- 23:53Rick Costa: I'm like how do you play all this stuff that you can't sing?
- 23:56Rick Costa: He goes oh, I know, Trust me, I know I can't, Don't ask me that.
- 23:59Carmen Lezeth: Because singing it is a gift, it is part of a gift, it's anything else.
- 24:03Carmen Lezeth: Like I write beautifully, I didn't even think about this till the other day.
- 24:06Carmen Lezeth: I had to hand write an envelope and I happen to be in my office and so I hand wrote because somebody was looking for a label and I'm like, oh my god, just I'll write it it's.
- 24:16Carmen Lezeth: And they were like, oh my, that's calligraphy.
- 24:19Carmen Lezeth: Oh my god, these people.
- 24:21Carmen Lezeth: I do have really nice handwriting, but it's also generational that we don't teach people how to write cursive.
- 24:28Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 24:28Rick Costa: Yeah, they don't do that anymore.
- 24:30Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, but I've always had really good cursive writing, so that's my gift.
- 24:34Carmen Lezeth: Whitney has hers, I have mine.
- 24:38Cynthia: Whatever?
- 24:42Carmen Lezeth: I can write cursive.
- 24:43Carmen Lezeth: Beyonce can sing Whatever.
- 24:47Carmen Lezeth: What's your gift, cynthia?
- 24:49Carmen Lezeth: What's a gift?
- 24:50Carmen Lezeth: You know you have, that you never had to work at Rick.
- 24:56Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to ask you next, okay, brian parking actually parallel parking yep I hate parallel parking.
- 25:07Cynthia: Oh my god, really I can do it.
- 25:08Cynthia: So funny.
- 25:09Cynthia: Everybody will look at a park is fine.
- 25:10Cynthia: They're like you can't fit.
- 25:11Cynthia: Yes, I can and I will fit right in there without hitting any car.
- 25:15Cynthia: Well, we could all fit when we're hitting.
- 25:19Cynthia: Oops.
- 25:21Carmen Lezeth: That's so awesome.
- 25:24Carmen Lezeth: Okay, that's a gift.
- 25:25Carmen Lezeth: Okay, and you're a good driver, right, mm-hmm?
- 25:28Carmen Lezeth: Everyone thinks they're a good driver.
- 25:31Carmen Lezeth: I think I'm a horrible driver.
- 25:32Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to say that straight up.
- 25:33Carmen Lezeth: I admit it I don't like driving.
- 25:36Carmen Lezeth: That's why I don't have that much mileage on my 20-year-old car.
- 25:39Carmen Lezeth: I hate driving.
- 25:40Carmen Lezeth: Rick, what's your gift?
- 25:42Rick Costa: I mean, I don't think it's like fabulous or amazing, but-.
- 25:46Carmen Lezeth: Like parking.
- 25:48Rick Costa: No.
- 25:48Carmen Lezeth: And writing cursive.
- 25:52Rick Costa: Actually some people said for a man, I have nice handwriting.
- 25:54Rick Costa: I'm like okay, cool, Know your vehicle.
- 25:56Rick Costa: Brian said parallel parking is easy, Know your vehicle.
- 25:59Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you don't live in LA, because parallel parking is not easy to those people.
- 26:09Ted Hicks: You still need to know how to do it, people right, you don't know how to do it, though.
- 26:11Carmen Lezeth: Pulling into a parking lot doesn't you know?
- 26:12Rick Costa: count you got a parallel park to the curb and not be 10 feet away.
- 26:14Rick Costa: Exactly that's my problem, yeah, but anyway.
- 26:16Rick Costa: So the first time I tried to join our choir at my old church, they were like he goes, he goes, do you have a track?
- 26:24Rick Costa: Sure, everybody has a track.
- 26:25Rick Costa: And I'm like I just so happened to and everybody's like, oh, okay, excuse me.
- 26:29Rick Costa: So I sang and then I finished and I was like okay, now I'm scared.
- 26:34Rick Costa: What are they going to say?
- 26:34Rick Costa: What am I going to say?
- 26:35Rick Costa: And this one woman in the choir she was you can't join our choir.
- 26:38Rick Costa: I was like no.
- 26:46Rick Costa: She goes no, you're too good.
- 26:47Rick Costa: I'm like stop stop.
- 26:47Rick Costa: You're really into your voice.
- 26:48Carmen Lezeth: Huh, I'm just doing what people say Pull that shit up, pull that shit up.
- 26:51Carmen Lezeth: Rick sings every day on his show.
- 26:54Carmen Lezeth: I sure do.
- 26:55Carmen Lezeth: It's not Catholic stuff.
- 26:56Carmen Lezeth: What is it?
- 26:57Carmen Lezeth: Just say religious?
- 26:58Carmen Lezeth: I thought of you today because I was singing my song that I don't think is religious.
- 27:05Carmen Lezeth: And then I'm screaming because I went for my run today.
- 27:06Carmen Lezeth: It was.
- 27:07Carmen Lezeth: I Smile, I love that song, but I have my headset on, I don't care, and it's daytime, so I'm going to run outside and there's the beach.
- 27:13Carmen Lezeth: Who cares?
- 27:13Carmen Lezeth: So I'm running, whatever, and I'm singing.
- 27:15Carmen Lezeth: And then the God part.
- 27:16Carmen Lezeth: I'm always like I love God but I don't singing yeah, do you remember that song?
- 27:22Rick Costa: I can only imagine, because it was actually on the radio.
- 27:26Rick Costa: I was like, wait, okay, let me just say something that pisses me off, I'm just gonna tell everybody right now.
- 27:31Carmen Lezeth: So rick always with.
- 27:32Carmen Lezeth: I'm just gonna say it right now we can end our friendship.
- 27:35Carmen Lezeth: Yes, I'm gonna say I'm not gonna hold back, like you always make me hold back.
- 27:39Carmen Lezeth: I have to, like, worry about your damn feelings.
- 27:41Carmen Lezeth: No, so here's rick.
- 27:43Carmen Lezeth: Rick will always.
- 27:44Carmen Lezeth: He will sing half of the verse of the chorus of whatever song you just getting into and he start talking.
- 27:52Carmen Lezeth: And I don't understand what that is.
- 27:54Carmen Lezeth: It's not like a tease.
- 27:56Carmen Lezeth: He don't want to give you the full flavor, he just wants you to taste, but it's the name of the song.
- 28:02Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I'm just saying you, just just, you could have gone a little bit more with the chorus, because it's like me going like this to the left, to the left anyway, do you remember?
- 28:12Rick Costa: um do we know that song I have some.
- 28:17Rick Costa: I have a few friends.
- 28:18Rick Costa: They do the same thing and they're singers.
- 28:20Rick Costa: They do the same thing.
- 28:21Rick Costa: They just sing a little piece and then they just keep talking.
- 28:23Rick Costa: I do that too, I guess.
- 28:24Carmen Lezeth: Yeah and I'm I'm now expressing how much it bothers me, okay, so I want you to change.
- 28:30Rick Costa: Tony, if this is you texting me, I'm gonna be upset let me just see who's texting I bring up that song because I can't tell you how many people have had me sing that at funerals.
- 28:38Rick Costa: I'm like oh, I love that song, but why, if you okay?
- 28:42Carmen Lezeth: I'm just to ignore it, because it's not Tony.
- 28:44Carmen Lezeth: Tony, I'm over here being mad at you.
- 28:46Carmen Lezeth: This is one of my clients.
- 28:47Carmen Lezeth: Seriously, I can't even be bothered.
- 28:50Cynthia: Okay, what were you saying about?
- 28:51Carmen Lezeth: this song.
- 28:51Ted Hicks: Tony's doing this right now.
- 28:55Carmen Lezeth: What's the song you were talking about?
- 28:57Rick Costa: It's called.
- 28:57Rick Costa: I Can Only Imagine.
- 28:58Carmen Lezeth: I don't know that song.
- 28:59Rick Costa: It was actually on the regular radio.
- 29:01Rick Costa: I was like like wait a minute did I just hear him say jesus?
- 29:09Rick Costa: When I first heard I was like who sings it?
- 29:10Rick Costa: And why don't you sing a little more of it?
- 29:11Rick Costa: What's the chorus?
- 29:12Rick Costa: The chorus is surrounded by your glory.
- 29:13Rick Costa: What would, what would my heart feel?
- 29:14Rick Costa: Would I dance for you, jesus?
- 29:16Rick Costa: Oh, and all of you be still?
- 29:18Rick Costa: It was on the radio.
- 29:19Rick Costa: It was like a huge hit on the radio.
- 29:21Carmen Lezeth: I was like shocked is it like the christian radio?
- 29:24Rick Costa: no regular radio.
- 29:25Rick Costa: That's what I'm saying.
- 29:25Rick Costa: I was so shocked to hear it.
- 29:27Carmen Lezeth: Well I mean there's songs that have religious tones and I'm not saying, I'm just saying for me, when I'm singing or whatever, I'm like enjoying myself, and I'm not thinking, look, it's also like I don't want to say the n word out loud when I'm singing a rap song.
- 29:39Carmen Lezeth: I you know there are certain things I'm trying not to.
- 29:42Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 29:43Rick Costa: Brian, thank you.
- 29:44Carmen Lezeth: Here you go.
- 29:44Carmen Lezeth: Brian's your friend right there.
- 29:46Carmen Lezeth: Brian knows you.
- 29:46Carmen Lezeth: I was going to do something for a minute.
- 29:49Rick Costa: See what Tony said, see how you do me.
- 29:51Rick Costa: I know because I thought it was Tony.
- 29:53Carmen Lezeth: I thought it was Tony texting me or something, so I was going to be like no.
- 29:57Carmen Lezeth: So, rick, you wanted to talk about a certain subject that I thought was I have my own feelings about.
- 30:04Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if Cynthia's seen it.
- 30:05Carmen Lezeth: Do you have the link?
- 30:05Carmen Lezeth: All right, wait, can you guys all see it?
- 30:09Rick Costa: No, you don't see it, you and your cheap phone.
- 30:15Cynthia: No, but I already do see the video you guys put up though.
- 30:20Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I didn't even say nothing.
- 30:22Carmen Lezeth: That was not me.
- 30:23Carmen Lezeth: Okay, let me.
- 30:23Carmen Lezeth: Should I turn off the chat for a minute, or can everyone see it?
- 30:27Carmen Lezeth: No, I think it's good.
- 30:28Rick Costa: But Cynthia can't see it at all.
- 30:30Carmen Lezeth: She can't see it because it is her phone.
- 30:32Carmen Lezeth: I know she thinks it's not.
- 30:33Cynthia: But I always see all the videos you guys put up, okay.
- 30:36Carmen Lezeth: That's so weird.
- 30:37Carmen Lezeth: Can everyone else in the chat see that we have the video video?
- 30:40Carmen Lezeth: Oh, there it goes.
- 30:41Carmen Lezeth: I can see it oh, it's up.
- 30:42Rick Costa: Wow you're.
- 30:43Rick Costa: Your phone is slow we see it.
- 30:45Carmen Lezeth: So cynthia yeah, I'm just cynthia you don't ever see joy, so I don't know what to say.
- 30:50Carmen Lezeth: Joy doesn't exist in your world tony all right, go ahead, just play.
- 30:56TikToker @imhassanrahim: It's only like a minute yeah, it's not that long go ahead it's a minute and 13 seconds, here we go all right, tiktok, tell me if I'm tripping or not.
- 31:02TikToker @imhassanrahim: So so me and my fiance, we are getting married right, and to be a part of our wedding you have to pay $450 for a ticket, and that's for each guest.
- 31:10TikToker @imhassanrahim: So we invited friends and family to our wedding.
- 31:14TikToker @imhassanrahim: Tell me why everybody that we invited has declined the invitation, because you're crazy.
- 31:18TikToker @imhassanrahim: We already have spent 100, maybe almost close to $200,000 on the wedding.
- 31:24TikToker @imhassanrahim: We have already pre-ordered the cake, we already put down a deposit for the venue, we've already got the wedding dress, everything.
- 31:31TikToker @imhassanrahim: We paid everything for the wedding DJ, photographer, everything for the wedding.
- 31:36TikToker @imhassanrahim: And what I don't understand is that y'all spend $400,000, more money on stupid stuff, but you can't come out to support your family and your friends at a wedding.
- 31:44TikToker @imhassanrahim: Tell me if I'm wrong.
- 31:45TikToker @imhassanrahim: Is we wrong?
- 31:46TikToker @imhassanrahim: Let me know.
- 31:48TikToker @imhassanrahim: Let me know Because y'all pay for tickets Beyonce tickets, $1,000 tickets.
- 31:52TikToker @imhassanrahim: Y'all going to go meet Chris Brown for $1,000 something dollars, but when it comes to your friends and your family, you can't pay the ticket.
- 31:59TikToker @imhassanrahim: These weddings ain't cheap.
- 32:03TikToker @imhassanrahim: The weddings ain't cheap.
- 32:04TikToker @imhassanrahim: What's going on?
- 32:04TikToker @imhassanrahim: I don't get it, let us know.
- 32:06TikToker @imhassanrahim: Are we wrong for charging for a wedding?
- 32:11Carmen Lezeth: I really want to know, oh my gosh, what's LMBO Rick?
- 32:16Rick Costa: Laughing my butt off what.
- 32:18Rick Costa: Laughing my butt off.
- 32:19Cynthia: Laughing my butt off Laughing my butt off.
- 32:22Carmen Lezeth: He's right.
- 32:24Rick Costa: You agree?
- 32:26Carmen Lezeth: Tony agrees.
- 32:28Rick Costa: But who told you to pay all that money for a wedding?
- 32:33Cynthia: First of all, you're the one that wants to go and get married.
- 32:39Cynthia: You pay for anything If you want people to go as your guests or whatever, why are you charging them to go to your wedding?
- 32:50Cynthia: He's saying the weddings are expensive.
- 32:53Cynthia: Yeah, they are expensive.
- 32:54Cynthia: Then go elope, go to the city hall, have a little private wedding, do a destination wedding.
- 33:00Cynthia: Whoever wants to go can go.
- 33:01Cynthia: How are you going to charge people 450 dollars?
- 33:07Rick Costa: and he's talking about.
- 33:07Rick Costa: Y'all pay for a beyonce and chris brown.
- 33:10Rick Costa: Do you sing as good as chris brown and beyonce?
- 33:12Rick Costa: Because I don't think so.
- 33:14Rick Costa: And what are they?
- 33:16Carmen Lezeth: getting.
- 33:16Carmen Lezeth: Either it's not going to concerts either.
- 33:19Carmen Lezeth: I'll watch alma alma.
- 33:23Carmen Lezeth: I thought you guys were at Prince.
- 33:24Carmen Lezeth: They're over at the movie.
- 33:26Carmen Lezeth: The movie's premiering Green, so Alma and Mario are at.
- 33:31Rick Costa: Prince.
- 33:32Carmen Lezeth: But thank you for saying that to me.
- 33:35Rick Costa: You kidding me, Tony.
- 33:37Carmen Lezeth: Wait, I'm confused.
- 33:38Carmen Lezeth: Tony's okay with this.
- 33:40Rick Costa: He said weddings aren't cheap.
- 33:41Carmen Lezeth: Don't expect any gifts.
- 33:43Rick Costa: No, you ain't gonna get my.
- 33:44Rick Costa: $450 is your gift.
- 33:46Rick Costa: What are you talking about?
- 33:46Rick Costa: Give on top of it?
- 33:48Cynthia: because where is the money going?
- 33:49Cynthia: Obviously it's going to the couple, because what are they getting for 450?
- 33:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm confused.
- 33:54Carmen Lezeth: Now you guys are going, you're paying the 450 okay if I had a wedding me bougie, right.
- 34:02Carmen Lezeth: So I'm gonna go to this.
- 34:03Carmen Lezeth: We're having a wedding.
- 34:04Carmen Lezeth: I want y'all to fly out here and I'm like you know what?
- 34:07Carmen Lezeth: I need everyone to pay $150 ticket to come to my wedding.
- 34:11Carmen Lezeth: So you're going to fly out here.
- 34:12Carmen Lezeth: You wouldn't?
- 34:15Rick Costa: pay $150.
- 34:20Cynthia: I'm going to let your cousin answer first.
- 34:22Cynthia: That's your gift, right?
- 34:25Carmen Lezeth: $150 is your gift.
- 34:26Carmen Lezeth: We have a registry as well that's your choice.
- 34:29Carmen Lezeth: You don't have to.
- 34:30Carmen Lezeth: Uh, that'll be your gift.
- 34:33Carmen Lezeth: If somebody wants to come up, I've put the link in.
- 34:36Carmen Lezeth: I'm not gonna let everyone up, but if people want to, I'm trying to hear what tony wants to say.
- 34:40Carmen Lezeth: But tony doesn't want to come up today, so I didn't't send him a invite.
- 34:44Rick Costa: She hasn't had her wedding in the.
- 34:45Rick Costa: I think it was the Bahamas.
- 34:47Rick Costa: She said oh, you're invited.
- 34:48Rick Costa: I'm like I ain't got Bahamas money.
- 34:51Rick Costa: I'm sorry, I ain't going to be there.
- 34:54Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I would have gone to the Bahamas.
- 34:55Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so I, first of all I told Rick when he wanted to talk about this.
- 35:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm like this to me seems like more of a clickbait thing because it sounds so stupid.
- 35:06Carmen Lezeth: I would never in a million years pay someone to go see their boring ass, motherfucking wedding.
- 35:13Carmen Lezeth: Because, let's just be honest, melanie said I'll give you that day.
- 35:16Carmen Lezeth: I have surgery on that day I didn't even tell you what day it was.
- 35:22Carmen Lezeth: I didn't even tell you what day it was.
- 35:24Carmen Lezeth: I didn't even tell you what day it was.
- 35:27Cynthia: Anthony.
- 35:28Carmen Lezeth: There's Tony.
- 35:28Carmen Lezeth: So, Tony, you would pay $450 to come to my wedding and fly out here and buy me a gift.
- 35:38Tony D.: By mercy, how y'all doing.
- 35:40Cynthia: How you doing.
- 35:43Tony D.: The only thing I'm saying is when he said you spend money on other things but you can't pay for the wedding, he's correct.
- 35:47Tony D.: People will spend money on this, people will spend money on that.
- 35:50Tony D.: People will pay to go places and spend more money as they get to their destination For a wedding.
- 35:55Tony D.: I agree with him.
- 35:56Tony D.: People invite you to weddings.
- 35:58Tony D.: You don't get invited to all of them.
- 36:00Tony D.: It is a very special occasion, more than a recreation.
- 36:02Tony D.: I would have no problem with it if I could afford it.
- 36:04Tony D.: I wouldn't.
- 36:06Tony D.: That is a lot of money, I agree, but most people.
- 36:09Cynthia: Let me say this I'll say it for my wedding, Melanie still busy that day For my wedding.
- 36:23Tony D.: I was grateful for everything everybody did and all the gifts they gave, but I did take the travel expenses into consideration, so I didn't really have much of a registry.
- 36:33Tony D.: I told the wife she wanted to do one to go ahead, but I wasn't expecting much.
- 36:37Tony D.: I know how much it costs to travel.
- 36:38Tony D.: A lot of people came across country for mine so I understood what he was saying as far as how people spend for things here and there, but you won't do it for a wedding which is more of a special occasion.
- 36:46Tony D.: I do agree with that.
- 36:47Tony D.: If I had it, I would do it, If not, I get it.
- 36:53Carmen Lezeth: Brian, go back to LA stay at Hilton Garden Inn and then look cool at the wedding.
- 36:57Carmen Lezeth: So, Brian, you would pay $450 to just step at my wedding, just to be at my wedding, and then pay all that as well.
- 37:05Cynthia: But he also commented doesn't mostly people donate at the wedding, or am?
- 37:11Carmen Lezeth: I behind you do.
- 37:12Carmen Lezeth: It depends on the wedding, it depends on the culture of the wedding.
- 37:14Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, I usually give money.
- 37:15Tony D.: It doesn't depend on the culture of the wedding.
- 37:17Carmen Lezeth: Look, I think most weddings I'm sorry to say this are boring and suck.
- 37:20Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry.
- 37:21TikToker @imhassanrahim: I am not.
- 37:22Carmen Lezeth: They are.
- 37:22Carmen Lezeth: I've never.
- 37:23Carmen Lezeth: I have been to a lot of people's weddings.
- 37:25Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia's smiling because she knows I didn't go to hers.
- 37:28Carmen Lezeth: I didn't go to Andrea's either.
- 37:30Carmen Lezeth: I didn't go to Andrea's either.
- 37:33Carmen Lezeth: Why is Tony laughing?
- 37:34Carmen Lezeth: I didn't go to Andrea's either.
- 37:39Carmen Lezeth: What kind of friend are you?
- 37:41Carmen Lezeth: Stand at the back, cynthia?
- 37:44Carmen Lezeth: Why didn't I go to your wedding?
- 37:45Carmen Lezeth: I forgot.
- 37:46Carmen Lezeth: I didn't go to Emily's either.
- 37:47Cynthia: We know I went to Emily's, but why didn't I go to yours?
- 37:51Carmen Lezeth: It was financially, you said.
- 37:52Carmen Lezeth: Was I financially hard up that time?
- 37:55Carmen Lezeth: That makes sense, that makes sense, and also I didn't like who she was marrying.
- 37:59Carmen Lezeth: I'm really against their marriage to this day.
- 38:02Carmen Lezeth: I hate Juan.
- 38:03Carmen Lezeth: Look, I'm not a fan of weddings.
- 38:12Carmen Lezeth: I eloped.
- 38:12Carmen Lezeth: No one found out till after the fact.
- 38:13Carmen Lezeth: We went to Hawaii.
- 38:13Carmen Lezeth: We were there for two weeks.
- 38:16Carmen Lezeth: The amount of money that people spend on weddings to me is ridiculous and I know people like want to scream at me or whatever, but it's always been way too much and it's just for one day.
- 38:31Carmen Lezeth: I would rather spend that money on traveling or putting a down payment on a house or whatever it is, but the amount of money and we spent a lot of money, but it was like a, it was like a honeymoon and wedding all together and then we ended up getting divorced anyway.
- 38:45Carmen Lezeth: But that's my point.
- 38:46Carmen Lezeth: It just feels like it's out of hand.
- 38:48Carmen Lezeth: So that's one thing, and then I'll say this part and then you guys can discuss.
- 38:52Carmen Lezeth: But I think it's a little pompous to ask people to come to your wedding, which is time out of their day yes, to celebrate your beautiful time, whatever.
- 39:01Carmen Lezeth: Then they're also probably going to buy you a gift.
- 39:04Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but maybe you decide not to have a registry.
- 39:06Carmen Lezeth: But now you're forcing people to spend.
- 39:09Carmen Lezeth: $450 is not a little bit of money.
- 39:13Carmen Lezeth: No, you're right, that's a round-trip ticket from here to, I think economy, right?
- 39:18Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm only kidding because I don't do economy.
- 39:21Tony D.: From here to Boston.
- 39:23Rick Costa: I'm literally wondering did he calculate all the expenses and say how many people Okay divided by this many, okay 450.
- 39:29Rick Costa: No, he didn't.
- 39:29Tony D.: No, I think he was just that's why I said if I had it, I would do it.
- 39:32Tony D.: He didn't calculate any of that.
- 39:33Tony D.: He just wanted people to pay for the wedding specifically.
- 39:35Tony D.: So that's why I understand why everybody was why would you go?
- 39:38Tony D.: I can't imagine.
- 39:39Tony D.: That's why I said if I had it.
- 39:40Tony D.: That's why I said if I had it, I would.
- 39:42Carmen Lezeth: But if you had it, wouldn't you just go to the wedding and give it to them as a gift?
- 39:49Tony D.: Listen to what he said.
- 39:50Tony D.: You spend money on this and this, but you can't do it for a wedding.
- 39:52Tony D.: I agree with that, because we do spend money on other things.
- 39:57Carmen Lezeth: We can at least do it once for a wedding.
- 39:57Carmen Lezeth: But it's not apples to apples, tony.
- 39:58Carmen Lezeth: That's not fair.
- 40:00Carmen Lezeth: Beyonce is Beyonce, yeah fair, beyonce is Beyonce.
- 40:04Cynthia: It's one thing to go.
- 40:05Cynthia: But you don't even know her.
- 40:06Carmen Lezeth: No, she's entertaining me.
- 40:07Carmen Lezeth: She's dancing, she's singing.
- 40:09Carmen Lezeth: It's music.
- 40:10Carmen Lezeth: It's not apples to apples.
- 40:11Carmen Lezeth: Now, if you wanted, you could say you spend money to go to a convention and you won't come to my wedding.
- 40:17Carmen Lezeth: That's about as boring as a motherfucking wedding to me.
- 40:20Carmen Lezeth: Melanie, I will go to weddings I can drive to unless I'm asked to pay.
- 40:26Carmen Lezeth: Listen, I will fly to people.
- 40:28Carmen Lezeth: I went to Gracie's wedding in Vermont recently.
- 40:31Carmen Lezeth: I flew out there, paid for actually I didn't even have to pay for a condo, because Alden did, and it was a great time, but I didn't even give her a gift.
- 40:40Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 40:41Carmen Lezeth: Because I'm like I just spent like almost two thousand dollars just to get there and I took time out of work, which for me is two days when I don't work I don't get paid.
- 40:50Tony D.: I've been there?
- 40:51Tony D.: I've been there.
- 40:51Tony D.: I understand that, yes.
- 40:52Carmen Lezeth: And also I know they're fine.
- 40:54Carmen Lezeth: They don't.
- 40:54Carmen Lezeth: They're not like scrounging for whatever that was.
- 40:57Carmen Lezeth: My gift was me being there.
- 40:59Carmen Lezeth: I just can't believe that you would'm just making note of this, tony, because when I get married I'm going to be like Tony $1,000.
- 41:09Rick Costa: You need to remember Carmen's, the bougie one.
- 41:11Tony D.: Yes, Remember what I said If I had it, I would do it.
- 41:16Tony D.: If I had it, yes.
- 41:18Carmen Lezeth: Where's the clapping sound?
- 41:20Rick Costa: Thank, you Red and notice he said every person declined everyone I do hear that that's not even good friends, that's mean.
- 41:32Carmen Lezeth: I think that was kind of mean, but I think it's a little pompous and I think, okay, here's the thing.
- 41:37Carmen Lezeth: Let's say it's prince or any other concert, it doesn't matter what it is, that's not the same thing.
- 41:42Carmen Lezeth: If you're going to compare a wedding, you have to compare it to something that's as boring and as wasteful of a day.
- 41:49Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying Everybody.
- 41:52Tony D.: Take Carmen off of your wedding list.
- 41:53Tony D.: She thinks they're boring.
- 41:54Carmen Lezeth: I don't go to weddings, I don't go to weddings.
- 41:56Carmen Lezeth: I went to Gracie's wedding because she was a baby when I met her and it was Vermont and I wanted to see Alden and it was different.
- 42:06Cynthia: But I don't really go to weddings.
- 42:08Cynthia: I did not spend a lot on my wedding.
- 42:09Cynthia: Our total amount was, I think it was under 10,000.
- 42:14Cynthia: And that was everything.
- 42:16Carmen Lezeth: That was dress, that was suit, that was the rise, that was the bridesmaids, the food, everything you see how society is now, though, because you just hear what you just said For one day, you spent $10,000, and we think that's okay for a part.
- 42:29Carmen Lezeth: I'm not.
- 42:30Carmen Lezeth: I'm not.
- 42:30Carmen Lezeth: I know what you're saying, cause weddings are like 40, 50, $80,000.
- 42:34Carmen Lezeth: And that's just regular folk.
- 42:35Carmen Lezeth: That's regular folk.
- 42:37Carmen Lezeth: Now, oh, women, women have spent eight thousand dollars on a fucking dress, tony.
- 42:40Carmen Lezeth: That's ridiculous.
- 42:42Carmen Lezeth: That's ridiculous.
- 42:43Carmen Lezeth: But this is my point right.
- 42:44Carmen Lezeth: We have sucked into the societal thing.
- 42:47Carmen Lezeth: It's like birthday parties, have you noticed?
- 42:49Carmen Lezeth: Children have to have theme parties now, and they spend thousands of dollars because a child turning five years old and they need a donkey and a real sheep and a horse or something to pet.
- 43:00Carmen Lezeth: Are you fucking kidding me?
- 43:02Rick Costa: And a piñata no just like 2015.
- 43:06Cynthia: Just like 2015.
- 43:08Tony D.: To what Melanie said.
- 43:09Tony D.: He assumes all people spend money on things.
- 43:11Tony D.: He spoke on how people are spending their money and we do see what he's saying.
- 43:15Tony D.: That's why I was like I understand where he's coming from, because people do that.
- 43:20Tony D.: Like you said, I'm not spending $1,000 for no concert ticket.
- 43:22Tony D.: I'm not going to do that.
- 43:23Tony D.: I'd rather go to a wedding with just somebody that I know who will get more value out of the money than I'm spending.
- 43:27Carmen Lezeth: I'm just writing this I'm going to get married just to have you spend money, to come out here and give me $450.
- 43:34Tony D.: I'm only going to charge you.
- 43:36Tony D.: I've got some 30-year-old.
- 43:37Tony D.: That was one year.
- 43:38Carmen Lezeth: Rick that was only one year he's known me.
- 43:43Cynthia: Tony, would you charge people?
- 43:44Cynthia: Would you charge people?
- 43:47Tony D.: to go to your wedding.
- 43:47Tony D.: I didn't.
- 43:48Tony D.: When I got married, I didn't.
- 43:49Carmen Lezeth: But would you now?
- 43:51Tony D.: Would you now?
- 43:51Tony D.: No, if I needed it, maybe, but no, so, mind you, if I need people to pay for my wedding, I probably won't have one.
- 44:02Carmen Lezeth: Okay, exactly, so he shouldn't have done.
- 44:04Carmen Lezeth: And, by the way, he didn't spend no $200,000 on that wedding.
- 44:09Carmen Lezeth: Because if you have enough money to spend $200,000,.
- 44:11Carmen Lezeth: You're not charging your guest $450.
- 44:15Tony D.: He's trying to make some of that money back.
- 44:16Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 44:17Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry.
- 44:18Carmen Lezeth: I know money, I know people and that's bullshittery, brian.
- 44:20Cynthia: Brian Brian just said Zoom call for you.
- 44:29Tony D.: People probably have been doing this shit while you're playing.
- 44:32Carmen Lezeth: You know what I actually did two Zoom calls for a funeral.
- 44:37TikToker @imhassanrahim: Oh, Cynthia, wasn't there a.
- 44:38Carmen Lezeth: Zoom call.
- 44:39Carmen Lezeth: Somebody who passed away that I had to do a zoom call because it was Valerie's daughter.
- 44:43Carmen Lezeth: No, it wasn't.
- 44:45Carmen Lezeth: I didn't do that, you didn't do that?
- 44:47Cynthia: oh, I did because it was during COVID, not during COVID.
- 44:53Tony D.: I don't think it was.
- 44:53Carmen Lezeth: Valerie's?
- 44:54Carmen Lezeth: No, somebody in Juan's family, or something, wasn't it?
- 44:57Tony D.: oh, his dad.
- 45:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, Tony.
- 45:01Tony D.: No, you're fine, Rick.
- 45:02Tony D.: You may not remember who was on Cantina.
- 45:04Tony D.: You may not remember Ashtray.
- 45:05Tony D.: I think you had left before she came.
- 45:07Tony D.: She passed away but she was overseas in the UK and they did the funeral over Zoom so a bunch of us could be there.
- 45:15Carmen Lezeth: Sometimes it's also just too fast.
- 45:17Carmen Lezeth: I went to Mary Joanne's sister's funeral and it was like within a day I had to get the plane and it was like I had I stopped.
- 45:27Carmen Lezeth: I'll never do this again, but I had to stop in four different places because I couldn't get a flight direct.
- 45:32Carmen Lezeth: Because it was just so.
- 45:34Tony D.: Yeah, I'm not.
- 45:34Tony D.: This is my bougie level.
- 45:37Tony D.: I don't want no layovers on my flight.
- 45:38Tony D.: Write that down.
- 45:39Tony D.: Write that down.
- 45:40Tony D.: Write that down, carmen, not writing.
- 45:41Tony D.: Get a pen or some paper.
- 45:43Tony D.: I never tell you what to do.
- 45:44Tony D.: Get to work.
- 45:48Cynthia: I do not want no layovers on my flight, leave me your phone.
- 45:52Carmen Lezeth: Do you get a discount for?
- 45:53Rick Costa: funerals for flights or no.
- 45:55Carmen Lezeth: Only if it's immediate family, and you have to be able to prove that it's immediate family.
- 45:59TikToker @imhassanrahim: And this is family, it's immediate family, and you have to be able to prove that it's immediate family.
- 46:01Carmen Lezeth: And this is family that isn't actually blood related to me, but they are family.
- 46:04Carmen Lezeth: So I went, but it was so such.
- 46:07Carmen Lezeth: It was a horrible flight.
- 46:09Carmen Lezeth: They're horrible.
- 46:10Carmen Lezeth: Coming back I'm like I will never do it again, but I would because it's family.
- 46:15Carmen Lezeth: You would do what you gotta do, but when you only have five days to figure it out, yeah, I do.
- 46:19Carmen Lezeth: But when you only have five days to figure it out, yeah, that would have been a good time for me to call in a favor from one of my clients, actually.
- 46:22Carmen Lezeth: But can you hook me up with your plane?
- 46:24Carmen Lezeth: You know, what I mean Is your private jet available that day.
- 46:27Carmen Lezeth: Is it?
- 46:27Carmen Lezeth: Is it what Tony Write it down, like I?
- 46:31Tony D.: asked you to.
- 46:32Carmen Lezeth: I already wrote it down.
- 46:33Carmen Lezeth: It's right here.
- 46:34Carmen Lezeth: I wrote it right here.
- 46:37Cynthia: It's right here.
- 46:38Rick Costa: She writes real small, really small.
- 46:40Ted Hicks: I have terrible handwriting I don't see it.
- 46:42Tony D.: She didn't write it.
- 46:42Carmen Lezeth: Here's what I'm saying though, if you are somebody who is pompous enough, see, this is the thing I don't like, the arrogance of it.
- 46:50Carmen Lezeth: So let's say, I'm going to get married, me and my man are getting married.
- 46:53Carmen Lezeth: I would ask my friends hey, I want to have this big wedding, I want to have it in wherever.
- 47:03Carmen Lezeth: Would you want to, or could you help me?
- 47:04Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 47:04Carmen Lezeth: What is he looking at?
- 47:06Carmen Lezeth: Mario?
- 47:09Carmen Lezeth: Oh, mario, listen.
- 47:10Carmen Lezeth: We had a cowgirl theme party for Marissa at three years old.
- 47:14Carmen Lezeth: We had DJ, horse, cotton candy decorations, barbecue jumper and all the fixes for $500.
- 47:20Carmen Lezeth: It's called Balloon on a Budget.
- 47:21Tony D.: Balloon on a Budget.
- 47:22Tony D.: It's like balloon, oh my God, balloon on a Budget.
- 47:27Rick Costa: She thought birthday party balloon.
- 47:29Rick Costa: Here's the thing, though, too.
- 47:32Carmen Lezeth: Seriously, $500 for a three-year-old's birthday party.
- 47:35Carmen Lezeth: I love you.
- 47:36Carmen Lezeth: I think that's really cool, but in my head I'm thinking we didn't even get a cake, Cynthia.
- 47:46Cynthia: It was like happy birthday Go to school.
- 47:49Tony D.: I love you.
- 47:49Tony D.: I don't remember any of this shit.
- 47:50Tony D.: We spent about $300 on Jason's first birthday.
- 47:53Tony D.: We did do that.
- 47:54Tony D.: You did do what.
- 47:55Tony D.: We spent about $300 on Jason's first birthday.
- 47:57Tony D.: We had a little party for him.
- 47:59Carmen Lezeth: So it was really for you, because he don't remember.
- 48:00Tony D.: No, it was for him.
- 48:01Tony D.: We bought him a cake.
- 48:02Tony D.: We had some of his friends come by from daycare and everything.
- 48:05Tony D.: Some of the parents brought the kids let the kids chill out.
- 48:08Tony D.: But the funniest thing was when we gave him the birthday cake.
- 48:10Tony D.: He was in his high chair.
- 48:11Tony D.: We put the cake right in his chair.
- 48:12Tony D.: He took one taste and he just would not stop.
- 48:15Carmen Lezeth: That's right.
- 48:16Carmen Lezeth: That's how you do it, Jason His eyes was open.
- 48:20Rick Costa: I was dying.
- 48:21Rick Costa: I couldn't help it.
- 48:22Rick Costa: This is for me.
- 48:23Rick Costa: Oh yes, alma just said why throw a party when you can take a trip.
- 48:28Carmen Lezeth: Exactly, brian said agreed.
- 48:30Carmen Lezeth: Aloos is Alma, just so you know, that's Mr Dawson's wife and her name is Alma.
- 48:35Carmen Lezeth: Mr Dawson is Mario Bryant, since you're new to the playpen here.
- 48:40Carmen Lezeth: Alma said our daughter said she'd rather do that than have a party where people could just come and criticize and eat the food.
- 48:46Carmen Lezeth: Exactly, facts, exactly.
- 48:49Carmen Lezeth: I just think it's interesting because we've been socialized now to believe that it's okay to spend $10,000, $30,000 or whatever for one day, and I've always thought it was weird.
- 48:59Carmen Lezeth: I honestly don't know one wedding that I've always thought it was weird.
- 49:01Carmen Lezeth: I I honestly don't know one wedding that I remember that I thought was amazing.
- 49:04Carmen Lezeth: I don't really, like all my friends have gotten married.
- 49:07Carmen Lezeth: I know, forgive me, I didn't go to yours.
- 49:10Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I know, I don't think that.
- 49:13Carmen Lezeth: Was that really a money issue?
- 49:15Carmen Lezeth: Because wouldn't you have just paid for it?
- 49:16Carmen Lezeth: Because that's how bougie you are?
- 49:19Carmen Lezeth: I don't think.
- 49:19Carmen Lezeth: I think I was out of the country.
- 49:20Carmen Lezeth: When did you get married?
- 49:22Carmen Lezeth: What year?
- 49:22Carmen Lezeth: 2011?
- 49:24Carmen Lezeth: What 2011?
- 49:27Carmen Lezeth: Oh no, it could have been financial, that's after the.
- 49:30Carmen Lezeth: That's when I lost my condo in 2010, 2011, that's right.
- 49:34Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, that was a bad time for me, okay, yeah, financial, because right after the economy burst or whatever member and everybody I lost, that's when I lost my condo.
- 49:43Carmen Lezeth: I tried to hold on to it for so long.
- 49:45Carmen Lezeth: If you would have known me then I was so bougie.
- 49:49Carmen Lezeth: I just think that weddings are really about you and the couple and I think it's beautiful that you want to share that with other people.
- 49:58Carmen Lezeth: But it's gotten out of hand that it's become such an event and make no mistake about it, it's been so commercialized that we actually think, oh, it's so cheap.
- 50:08Carmen Lezeth: I only spent $10,000.
- 50:10Carmen Lezeth: That's my point.
- 50:11Carmen Lezeth: They got us, they totally got us believing that, like women buying dresses that they wear once literally, dying dresses that they wear once literally.
- 50:20Carmen Lezeth: And then I went with a friend who was getting married and when she's first trying to figure out what dress to wear, whatever and I was like I would not pay, not no, three, four, five, eight, nine $10,000 for any one of these motherfucking dresses.
- 50:34Carmen Lezeth: I don't care how pretty you think they look at all.
- 50:37Carmen Lezeth: And some of these dresses.
- 50:37Carmen Lezeth: They were like Vera Wang craft.
- 50:41Rick Costa: Those things are ridiculous.
- 50:42Rick Costa: I think there's a show where it's all about wedding dresses and women trying to pick it out and they're like this is the one.
- 50:46Rick Costa: There's a show.
- 50:48Cynthia: A show Say yes to the dress.
- 50:52Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, that sounds right.
- 50:52Carmen Lezeth: Okay, you know what we're done with this topic.
- 50:56Tony D.: Are you?
- 50:56Carmen Lezeth: serious.
- 50:58Tony D.: Yeah, crazy wedding shows.
- 50:59Tony D.: Bradzilla's was like the worst.
- 51:02Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my God.
- 51:03Tony D.: There's a show?
- 51:05Carmen Lezeth: Of course there's shows.
- 51:06Carmen Lezeth: Why would I be so stupid?
- 51:07Rick Costa: I've seen the commercials.
- 51:08Rick Costa: I've never seen the shows.
- 51:09Rick Costa: But isn't that the one with the girls?
- 51:10Rick Costa: I will kill you.
- 51:11Tony D.: They're the ones where the guy has to have everything her way and if it doesn't go her way, she loses her shit of shit, and that's what a lot of these women in society are doing right now.
- 51:18Tony D.: It's been out for over a decade.
- 51:21Tony D.: I can't lie.
- 51:23Tony D.: I'm going to be honest.
- 51:25Tony D.: I always had big plans for my first wedding, wasn't sure how much it was going to cost, but I know what the layout was, what I wanted it to be, how I wanted it to look.
- 51:32Tony D.: I would have spent a lot had I had it.
- 51:35Tony D.: If I got it, I'll do it.
- 51:36Tony D.: That's my problem.
- 51:37Tony D.: If I got the money, I'm going to damn do it.
- 51:39Tony D.: So if I can afford 10, 20, 30,000, I'm talking about the horse and carriage you coming out looking like Cinderella.
- 51:44Tony D.: We got the whole elevator, the lights, the chandeliers.
- 51:47Tony D.: We got all that.
- 51:48Tony D.: Yeah, if I have it, I'm going to do it.
- 51:50Tony D.: That's been on my mind since I was a teenager.
- 51:53Tony D.: As far as how I would do my wedding, I know what I want my groomsmen, my best man, to wear.
- 51:57Tony D.: She can decide what the bridesmaids wear.
- 51:59Tony D.: We can decide the whole arrangement.
- 52:01Tony D.: Honestly, my stepdaughter's wedding was beautiful it really was but I would have went a little bit farther, was I able to afford what I would want to do for my.
- 52:10Tony D.: It was beautiful, bigger to the ex-wife, her mom, what they did that family, because she had an excellent turnout.
- 52:17Tony D.: We ate great.
- 52:17Tony D.: Because she had an excellent turnout, we ate great.
- 52:19Tony D.: I loved the accommodation.
- 52:20Tony D.: I loved the area, cool.
- 52:21Tony D.: But I know what I would have done.
- 52:22Tony D.: That would have been different, it would have been bigger, it would have looked crazy.
- 52:25Tony D.: You think I'm bad or I talk bad?
- 52:27Tony D.: Now Let me have the money and show you how I would do it.
- 52:29Tony D.: I can make a movie and I probably just Make a movie.
- 52:32Tony D.: Well, go ahead, I could scare people.
- 52:35Tony D.: Yes, Cynthia.
- 52:38Cynthia: So you're saying if you had the money you would go way out, right?
- 52:42Tony D.: Yes.
- 52:43Tony D.: So, why are you always calling Carmen Bui?
- 52:47Tony D.: Because I don't have her right now so I can't say who she is.
- 52:50Carmen Lezeth: I can say that I need an applause machine thing.
- 52:54Carmen Lezeth: No, it doesn't work.
- 52:55Carmen Lezeth: Wait, why are we raising hands now?
- 52:58Rick Costa: I just want to know what it feels like to raise my hand.
- 53:00Rick Costa: I don't have none.
- 53:00Carmen Lezeth: So, mr Dawson, mario just said just think back to our baby shower.
- 53:04Carmen Lezeth: I know that was fly.
- 53:05Carmen Lezeth: The baby shower was cool.
- 53:06Carmen Lezeth: The thing I like about the baby shower, though, is that you're bringing a new life into the world.
- 53:11Carmen Lezeth: It's your first, and you need stuff, and so we bring you stuff.
- 53:16Carmen Lezeth: And here's the thing I don't remember, mario, but I don't remember you having a registry.
- 53:21Carmen Lezeth: I don't remember Like.
- 53:22Carmen Lezeth: The registry thing drives me up a wall too, but I know it's better than wasting money and stuff, but there's something cold about it.
- 53:28Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 53:29Tony D.: This is a great idea.
- 53:30Tony D.: It actually is a great idea as far as spontaneous thinking.
- 53:35Carmen Lezeth: I'd rather just give people money.
- 53:36Tony D.: I don't like buying people pots.
- 53:37Tony D.: Well, new parents need diapers, wipes and onesies period.
- 53:39Tony D.: No, no, I know that's what I'm saying.
- 53:41Carmen Lezeth: But there's something lost in the joy of buying a gift when I just like especially if you're not first on the registry to pick what you want to give them and then like all you're left with are like spoons or diaper bag or whatever.
- 53:55Tony D.: It's like some crap stuff.
- 53:56Tony D.: They will always need diapers.
- 53:57Tony D.: I just give them the money.
- 53:59Carmen Lezeth: I just say you know what?
- 54:00Carmen Lezeth: I couldn't look at your registry.
- 54:01Carmen Lezeth: Here's the money.
- 54:02Tony D.: I don't even bother you, just don't know what the gender is, but other than that, they always need diapers and onesies, period Bibs, baby bags yeah Stroller.
- 54:10Carmen Lezeth: Wait, what did Brian say?
- 54:11Carmen Lezeth: Brian said my best friend's ex-wife made fun of Bridezilla, then became one one.
- 54:16Carmen Lezeth: Thank goodness they divorced eight years later.
- 54:18Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, yeah, look I.
- 54:22Carmen Lezeth: I think that's where I'm really again.
- 54:25Carmen Lezeth: I know we kid around about the whole bougie thing, but I think I'm the opposite of bougie.
- 54:29Carmen Lezeth: The last thing you would ever see me doing is having a big ass wedding.
- 54:33Carmen Lezeth: It would never happen.
- 54:33Carmen Lezeth: It's just not my thing.
- 54:35Carmen Lezeth: I know, tony, you and I were just not.
- 54:37Carmen Lezeth: We're not connected.
- 54:39Tony D.: Yeah you don't know me, I don't know you, but I can see you if you have it going forward.
- 54:43Tony D.: That's all of us.
- 54:44Tony D.: Once we have it, we go forward.
- 54:46Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry say that again.
- 54:47Tony D.: Once we have it, we go forward.
- 54:50Carmen Lezeth: So I think Even if I had all the money in the world and this man that I love, Cynthia, I would never have a wedding.
- 54:57Carmen Lezeth: I would never do it.
- 54:58Carmen Lezeth: I.
- 55:01Carmen Lezeth: I would never have a wedding.
- 55:02Carmen Lezeth: I would never do it.
- 55:03Carmen Lezeth: I have to wait to see that day it already happened.
- 55:04Tony D.: I eloped, I know.
- 55:05Cynthia: Well, what happens if you meet somebody who is like Tony, that wants the big, exactly?
- 55:11Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm not going to meet someone who's like Tony.
- 55:15Tony D.: You know a bunch of people like me.
- 55:16Tony D.: Stop playing.
- 55:18Carmen Lezeth: You're saying, if I met a man and he really wanted to have a big wedding, yeah, like, well, then, I'm sorry, would you deny him that?
- 55:27Carmen Lezeth: Oh god, would I deny him that?
- 55:30Carmen Lezeth: no but I don't think I would want an over the top.
- 55:33Carmen Lezeth: I would still want it to be small and I would still want it to be just like.
- 55:38Carmen Lezeth: I don't't want 250, 400 people, I don't want all that crap.
- 55:42Carmen Lezeth: I would like, I would want to go to a beautiful Island, invite 15 people and that's it.
- 55:49Carmen Lezeth: Like we could do it like that.
- 55:50Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean and I could do whatever.
- 55:52Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, my 15, one five.
- 55:56Rick Costa: My ex compiled the wedding list of people I think it was something like 600 people.
- 56:03Rick Costa: I was like are you out your mind?
- 56:04Rick Costa: No, no, no, no no no, I don't know how to choose.
- 56:08Rick Costa: Like how to, I said, make it a little easier for you.
- 56:11Rick Costa: This has to be people that are equally as valuable in your life and mind equally.
- 56:16Rick Costa: That'll lower it down a lot.
- 56:17Rick Costa: No excess, I'm like.
- 56:20Rick Costa: Who is that?
- 56:20Rick Costa: Who?
- 56:21Cynthia: is that you had 600 people at your no no, no, no no no, no, I had 80 actually.
- 56:28Rick Costa: No, I invited 80 and 70 came I had oh, I just got dissed without even uh, that's true.
- 56:37Rick Costa: Damn, that was hard up.
- 56:39Carmen Lezeth: I was in struggling pain.
- 56:40Carmen Lezeth: I lost my condo.
- 56:42Carmen Lezeth: It was terrible.
- 56:43Rick Costa: You didn't offer to pay for it.
- 56:44Rick Costa: That diss was so subtle.
- 56:46Rick Costa: Props to Cynthia for that diss.
- 56:48Carmen Lezeth: It was so subtle.
- 56:49Carmen Lezeth: I invited 80 people, but only 79 showed up.
- 56:53Carmen Lezeth: Just saying Just saying Cynthia is so like that Usually she would just offer to pay for stuff.
- 57:01Carmen Lezeth: So you didn't really want me there.
- 57:03Cynthia: Listen, I was already.
- 57:04Cynthia: You know who's bougie.
- 57:05Carmen Lezeth: Tony, you know who's bougie out of here.
- 57:09Ted Hicks: Who.
- 57:12Carmen Lezeth: Rick.
- 57:13Ted Hicks: Oh.
- 57:14Carmen Lezeth: No, you.
- 57:14Rick Costa: Really.
- 57:15Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia's the bougie one.
- 57:17Carmen Lezeth: How am I the bougie one?
- 57:18Carmen Lezeth: Okay, you're not bougie, but Cynthia is a really good person.
- 57:22Carmen Lezeth: That's all I'm going to say.
- 57:24Rick Costa: Good people, good with a bougie eye.
- 57:27Carmen Lezeth: I didn't go to Amy's wedding either, and I totally regret that, because now I'm the godmother of her beautiful son and I love them.
- 57:34Carmen Lezeth: And now that's when I was traveling, I was trying to figure out whose wedding.
- 57:40Carmen Lezeth: And Amy and now that's when I was traveling, that's why I was trying to figure out who's wedding, so I didn't.
- 57:43Carmen Lezeth: And Amy, I mean, I love you too, cynthia, I didn't mean to say it like that, I really love you.
- 57:44Carmen Lezeth: We get pissed at each other back and forth.
- 57:47Carmen Lezeth: No, but I feel bad, right, because she made me the godmother to her son and I'm like, oh my god.
- 57:53Carmen Lezeth: I do regret not going to that wedding too.
- 57:56Rick Costa: Brian just said clearly we are all invited a countryside, cool people allowed only.
- 58:02Carmen Lezeth: Well, my best to you and your wife.
- 58:05Carmen Lezeth: No, I don't you know what.
- 58:10Carmen Lezeth: I'm just not a fan of weddings.
- 58:12Carmen Lezeth: I don't even like the whole structure of it, I know.
- 58:17Rick Costa: Did I ever tell you how my wedding started?
- 58:21Carmen Lezeth: I don't remember if you did.
- 58:21Carmen Lezeth: I feel bad because I'm like I think my wedding started.
- 58:22Carmen Lezeth: I don't remember if you did.
- 58:22Carmen Lezeth: I feel bad because I'm like I think you did, but I don't remember.
- 58:24Rick Costa: So I wrote my own song and instead of her coming down with the father, they both waited in the back.
- 58:31Rick Costa: I sang the song, walked back there singing the song and then walked back up to the front still singing the song, and it ended perfectly right when we got to the front.
- 58:48Carmen Lezeth: And everybody was like's how romantical I could be okay.
- 58:50Carmen Lezeth: Okay, what's the?
- 58:50Carmen Lezeth: What's the most romantic wedding event you went to?
- 58:51Carmen Lezeth: I don't have one, so go ahead.
- 58:53Tony D.: I really don't that's a good question hmm, donations accepted for honeymoon.
- 59:02Carmen Lezeth: See, I would just.
- 59:03Carmen Lezeth: I see, okay, here's the man for me.
- 59:05Carmen Lezeth: Let me just tell you the man for me.
- 59:06Carmen Lezeth: The man for me would be like let's get married, whatever, get engagement, blah, blah.
- 59:11Carmen Lezeth: And then I'd be like, baby, let's do city hall, meet you two friends, and let's go and travel for a month on the $50,000 we were about to spend on a stupid wedding.
- 59:26Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying but you're saying, if he had all that money and could travel, would I do it?
- 59:32Carmen Lezeth: I would do any for a man that I love.
- 59:34Carmen Lezeth: I would do anything for sure, but it wouldn't be what I want to do.
- 59:38Tony D.: I wouldn't want to have a big ass wedding.
- 59:40Carmen Lezeth: What.
- 59:41Tony D.: I don't say that anymore either.
- 59:43Carmen Lezeth: You don't say what.
- 59:44Tony D.: I'll do anything for you.
- 59:45Tony D.: I don't say that, no, damn more.
- 59:47Carmen Lezeth: No, I said for someone I love.
- 59:48Tony D.: Yeah, you said for the one you love, but I still won't say that, mess, no more, I'll do anything for you?
- 59:52Carmen Lezeth: Ooh, there's some pain there.
- 59:54Tony D.: A lot.
- 59:55Rick Costa: I got a lot yeah, okay, all the women just made note of that.
- 59:59Carmen Lezeth: I know I'm writing it down.
- 1:00:02Carmen Lezeth: I just got my pen.
- 1:00:03Carmen Lezeth: Let me just grab my ink.
- 1:00:05Tony D.: What are the English and cursive?
- 1:00:07Tony D.: Not anymore.
- 1:00:08Carmen Lezeth: But you have to be open to the possibility that love can come again.
- 1:00:13Tony D.: I have been on more than one occasion.
- 1:00:17Carmen Lezeth: I feel like we need to really have this conversation now.
- 1:00:20Tony D.: I have no problem with it.
- 1:00:23Cynthia: I think y'all need a private lounge.
- 1:00:25Tony D.: Oh, do you really want that?
- 1:00:27Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, what are you doing Exactly?
- 1:00:29Carmen Lezeth: Oh Jesus, what am I?
- 1:00:33Carmen Lezeth: A fucking therapist.
- 1:00:34Carmen Lezeth: You should do a private lounge.
- 1:00:36Carmen Lezeth: So you're saying you're not open to love because you were so hurt before.
- 1:00:44Tony D.: Never said I wasn't open to love, but I'm not going to say I'll do anything for you.
- 1:00:49Carmen Lezeth: But why?
- 1:00:50Tony D.: Because of past pains, past trials and being told what I've done is not enough.
- 1:00:54Tony D.: I've had enough of it.
- 1:00:56Cynthia: Can you compare your next one from the past?
- 1:00:59Tony D.: I'm sorry.
- 1:01:00Cynthia: You can't compare your next one to your past relationship.
- 1:01:03Tony D.: But you can compare it to the redundancies of time that's happened, well See.
- 1:01:11Cynthia: Are you doing what I tell Brian?
- 1:01:13Cynthia: Y'all got to find the right one.
- 1:01:16Tony D.: That's a whole nother lounge.
- 1:01:19Carmen Lezeth: Here's my question though you said you're not going to say I would do anything for you, You'll never say that again for someone you love, right?
- 1:01:26Carmen Lezeth: If you love someone, you're never going to say I'll do anything for you?
- 1:01:29Tony D.: No.
- 1:01:31Carmen Lezeth: But if somebody you love and they love you, they would never ask you to do something that would be inappropriate or uncomfortable for you or challenging or pushing or stress and all that but so is it possible that the person that hurt you so badly, or the persons that hurt you so badly were people that you believed loved you, or but they actually didn't?
- 1:01:56Carmen Lezeth: because that's how you, that that's how I would do anything for people I love?
- 1:02:00Carmen Lezeth: And I mean I'm not just a man, but I mean like, and if Cynthia asked me to do anything, I would do it for her Because you know what?
- 1:02:06Carmen Lezeth: I trust completely, 100%, that she wouldn't ask me something that was inappropriate.
- 1:02:13Tony D.: But she's also family.
- 1:02:14Tony D.: No disrespect.
- 1:02:15Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but Andrea Mia Billy.
- 1:02:18Carmen Lezeth: Alden, I can go down the list of men that I love who are not biological family.
- 1:02:23Carmen Lezeth: But that's what I'm saying.
- 1:02:24Carmen Lezeth: Like people I love, I know would not, and that's what I'm trying to say.
- 1:02:27Carmen Lezeth: Is it possible?
- 1:02:33Tony D.: that people that you gave that trust to were not deserving of that trust.
- 1:02:35Tony D.: No, I just think that some people wanted it for the moment, said it and then, when specific moments came and they couldn't, they looked at me like it was my fault for believing it in the first place.
- 1:02:41Tony D.: I've had a lot of that in my life.
- 1:02:44Cynthia: Then they weren't deserving of you that's a whole, nother variable.
- 1:02:53Tony D.: I can honestly say that people have done things for me, I've done things for them.
- 1:02:56Tony D.: I don't make the anything demand out of anybody.
- 1:02:59Tony D.: We are all going to do as much as we possibly can within ourselves without compromising ourselves, and sometimes we even will compromise ourselves.
- 1:03:06Tony D.: It's the cop.
- 1:03:08Carmen Lezeth: No, but no no one who loves you.
- 1:03:09Carmen Lezeth: I don't want you to go down this whole in living color tangent that you do.
- 1:03:12Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to stop you.
- 1:03:13Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to say it.
- 1:03:15Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to stop you Because you do.
- 1:03:17Carmen Lezeth: You start going off on a tangent.
- 1:03:18Tony D.: I'm stopping you right now, you asked me to elaborate.
- 1:03:20Carmen Lezeth: I didn't ask you to elaborate.
- 1:03:22Carmen Lezeth: I'm saying, if you did something, okay, if you did something in the moment because you both loved each other, and then months later, years later, whatever you were hurt, can't you just leave that for what it was?
- 1:03:41Tony D.: Depends on the pain.
- 1:03:43Carmen Lezeth: So you haven't worked through the pain is what I'm hearing.
- 1:03:46Carmen Lezeth: You haven't worked through the pain yet.
- 1:03:47Tony D.: I've worked past a lot of pains, but after so many, I had to catch myself, which is what I'm doing.
- 1:03:52Tony D.: What is it that I'm doing?
- 1:03:54Tony D.: How far is it that I'm going?
- 1:03:55Tony D.: Am I expecting too much?
- 1:03:57Tony D.: Do I demand too much?
- 1:04:00Carmen Lezeth: That's good.
- 1:04:00Carmen Lezeth: It's a lot.
- 1:04:01Tony D.: Yeah, that's what you got to do within yourself when you go through so much.
- 1:04:04Tony D.: And for me, I'm at an age where I had to start regrouping, rethinking, recollecting.
- 1:04:08Tony D.: I really did try to plan things out.
- 1:04:10Tony D.: I'm pretty good where I'm at, but there are some errors and mistakes that I've made, some kind of reconciling myself, if you will.
- 1:04:16Carmen Lezeth: Is it possible that you do the best you can until you know better than you do better, instead of harping on these mistakes that you think you made?
- 1:04:26Carmen Lezeth: Is it possible that in this moment in time, I believed, thought this, so I did a, b, c and d, and that's okay, because I learned from that mistake and I'm gonna move forward?
- 1:04:37Carmen Lezeth: But you can't keep going back.
- 1:04:39Carmen Lezeth: Every experience is a moment that we have and then you learn from it, good or bad or indifferent.
- 1:04:46Carmen Lezeth: By the way, that was my angelou.
- 1:04:48Carmen Lezeth: It's not me.
- 1:04:49Tony D.: I don't want people to be like, oh, karma's so eloquent how many of those do you go through before you start thinking about things?
- 1:04:53Tony D.: Tony, I don't know you that well, I'm just asking, I'm just asking, but here's the thing.
- 1:05:00Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so I'm going to say it straight up.
- 1:05:02Carmen Lezeth: If you are repeatedly falling for people who hurt you, then the problem isn't you being a person who loves people and trusting people.
- 1:05:13Carmen Lezeth: Your problem is in choosing people who do not deserve you.
- 1:05:16Carmen Lezeth: It's what Cynthia said before.
- 1:05:18Carmen Lezeth: No, no, every time I say that you don't value who you are as a person.
- 1:05:24Carmen Lezeth: Every time, cynthia, didn't you see his face?
- 1:05:28Carmen Lezeth: He did it three times, three different times.
- 1:05:30Carmen Lezeth: You are so valuable.
- 1:05:34Tony D.: You want to go all about it.
- 1:05:36Carmen Lezeth: No, stop, I'm going to keep going.
- 1:05:39Carmen Lezeth: You are such a valuable human being.
- 1:05:41Carmen Lezeth: Thank you, I'm not kidding, so stop it.
- 1:05:44Carmen Lezeth: What happens is that when you allow yourself to be Tony and be the real you because you have this really good facade, a really good facade going on Baby, I got the same one.
- 1:05:57Carmen Lezeth: That's why I know it takes one to know one.
- 1:05:59Carmen Lezeth: It's a good facade we got going on here.
- 1:06:01Carmen Lezeth: But when you let that open and you let someone in and they kick your heart, it's really hard to let people back in again.
- 1:06:11Carmen Lezeth: What I'm trying to tell you is don't let everybody in, but don't conceal your heart either.
- 1:06:19Carmen Lezeth: Be less open to everybody and getting that piece of you.
- 1:06:23Carmen Lezeth: That's why I'm so good.
- 1:06:25Carmen Lezeth: That's why I'm so good at cutting people off.
- 1:06:27Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia made fun of me the other day in a nice way.
- 1:06:29Carmen Lezeth: I am the queen of.
- 1:06:30Carmen Lezeth: You just showed me who you are.
- 1:06:32Carmen Lezeth: I'm done.
- 1:06:32Carmen Lezeth: I'm never talking to you again because I've been hurt that many times.
- 1:06:36Carmen Lezeth: I know what you're talking about, but, tony, I think you don't realize you wince every time you get a compliment, every time somebody says you're deserving of something.
- 1:06:45Carmen Lezeth: You don't see it, but it's a body language thing and I know Cynthia saw it the first time and that's an interesting thing.
- 1:06:52Carmen Lezeth: I think you have to work on your self-esteem, not the facade self-esteem that you show the bravado, but the real self-esteem that know that you're worthy.
- 1:07:01Carmen Lezeth: You can watch this on the replay.
- 1:07:05Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:07:06Tony D.: You have no idea.
- 1:07:06Tony D.: I was watching the first one the other week and I laughed my butt off.
- 1:07:10Carmen Lezeth: Really, that's so funny, can I throw?
- 1:07:12Rick Costa: this in there too.
- 1:07:13Rick Costa: I know a lot of people that in their second marriage they were so much happier and they say first of all, I wasn't very mature in the first one.
- 1:07:22Rick Costa: Second of all, I didn't really know what I wanted in life.
- 1:07:25Rick Costa: Third of all, they just rattled off reasons.
- 1:07:27Rick Costa: You learn and that's the biggest thing is like people.
- 1:07:31Rick Costa: I've heard people say like you're divorced, you ain't got no qualifications.
- 1:07:34Tony D.: To tell me about marriage, honey, I know exactly what I did wrong so, yeah, I can't tell you any of you got anybody want to tell him that we can sit back and talk about this.
- 1:07:42Tony D.: You let me know when you're ready talk about what?
- 1:07:44Tony D.: What do you say about marriage and people saying you're not qualified to talk about marriage?
- 1:07:50Carmen Lezeth: People do that so that they don't have to hear the truth.
- 1:07:52Carmen Lezeth: People say that to me about not having children and I'm going to tell you right now.
- 1:07:54Carmen Lezeth: The fact that I don't have motherfucking children is exactly why I can tell you guys why you suck as parents.
- 1:07:59Carmen Lezeth: Like I'm being serious, I get so upset about it I do.
- 1:08:02Tony D.: I think we need a lounge.
- 1:08:07Carmen Lezeth: It's exactly why it's exactly why?
- 1:08:08Carmen Lezeth: Because I'm not in it, I'm not confused.
- 1:08:10Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:08:11Carmen Lezeth: Like sometimes parents, because you have that protective gene, you don't remember what it's like to be a kid.
- 1:08:17Carmen Lezeth: You're being so protective You're not realizing they're just being 13.
- 1:08:21Cynthia: They're just being 11.
- 1:08:23Cynthia: That's true.
- 1:08:23Carmen Lezeth: Stop being so mean I saw someone the other day.
- 1:08:26Carmen Lezeth: I looked at this woman.
- 1:08:27Carmen Lezeth: I don't know her, but she was about to hit her kid in the grocery store.
- 1:08:32Carmen Lezeth: I just looked at her like she didn't.
- 1:08:37Carmen Lezeth: She acted like she was grabbing before I'm like.
- 1:08:39Tony D.: I would have lost my shit if she hit that kid In reverse, if somebody would have done that to you, you would have been ready to go off on them.
- 1:08:45Carmen Lezeth: What do you mean?
- 1:08:46Carmen Lezeth: What are you talking about?
- 1:08:46Tony D.: What?
- 1:08:46Tony D.: Because nobody's going to tell you how to raise a child.
- 1:08:48Tony D.: You don't care.
- 1:08:49Carmen Lezeth: No, but you don't need.
- 1:08:50Carmen Lezeth: No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:08:50Carmen Lezeth: But she was about to hit her kid.
- 1:08:52Carmen Lezeth: I could feel it.
- 1:08:53Carmen Lezeth: I didn't say nothing, but the look and my concern was enough to get her to be like looking for potatoes or something in the thing.
- 1:09:00Carmen Lezeth: It was stupid.
- 1:09:02Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm not telling people how to raise their kids.
- 1:09:04Carmen Lezeth: Goddamn cart, I'm not going to do it.
- 1:09:05Carmen Lezeth: I'm not saying she did it.
- 1:09:06Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, don't get me.
- 1:09:14Carmen Lezeth: I'm so sick of bad parents.
- 1:09:17Carmen Lezeth: There's so many of you motherfuckers out there, bad parents, I'm sorry, trigger, trigger, because you're raising the next generation of as a parent, I got to tell you this is what you should be talking about on late night parents.
- 1:09:34Carmen Lezeth: Hello, yes, yes, this is what you guys should be talking about.
- 1:09:38Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, I do get upset, because you know what we keep blaming kids for.
- 1:09:43Carmen Lezeth: We keep blaming Gen Z for all these bad things and whatever.
- 1:09:48Carmen Lezeth: And then we not like who are the parents who taught them this shit?
- 1:09:51Carmen Lezeth: You're all mad at them because they have their phones and they're attached to their phones, but you're the one who gave it to them because you didn't want to fucking deal with them.
- 1:09:59Tony D.: You don't want to read you don't want to take time, save that for the next episode.
- 1:10:03Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying we went from love to parenting.
- 1:10:06Tony D.: I've said that conversation so many times.
- 1:10:08Tony D.: I would love to have that conversation.
- 1:10:10Tony D.: I'm on everybody's ass, it's apparent.
- 1:10:13Rick Costa: I'm on everybody's ass.
- 1:10:17Tony D.: Whenever I'm so scared.
- 1:10:19Carmen Lezeth: I get upset because I think that.
- 1:10:20Carmen Lezeth: I love Gen Z.
- 1:10:22Carmen Lezeth: I love Gen Z, but I also think they've been mistreated yeah.
- 1:10:25Carmen Lezeth: So back to love and Tony.
- 1:10:29Carmen Lezeth: Just to wrap that up, cynthia, do you have a little analysis of what you think Tony's issues are with love?
- 1:10:37Cynthia: I think Tony's just been beat up for so many years by women in general that his self-esteem and self-worth has diminished and doesn't feel like he is.
- 1:10:49Tony D.: That was a wince.
- 1:10:49Tony D.: And doesn't know like he is.
- 1:10:50Tony D.: That was a wince.
- 1:10:50Tony D.: That was a wince.
- 1:10:51Tony D.: That was a wince.
- 1:10:52Cynthia: Mm-hmm and doesn't know how to take compliments.
- 1:10:55Cynthia: No, I.
- 1:10:57Ted Hicks: Yeah, I'm not going to.
- 1:10:58Ted Hicks: You're not doing it right now.
- 1:10:59Carmen Lezeth: You're not taking it in, you're talking.
- 1:11:01Ted Hicks: You're not letting her finish.
- 1:11:02Carmen Lezeth: Nope, you got to let her finish.
- 1:11:03Carmen Lezeth: Let her do the compliment.
- 1:11:07Carmen Lezeth: There's a.
- 1:11:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to turn you off right now.
- 1:11:09Tony D.: You won't listen to me.
- 1:11:11Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, cynthia, because Cynthia was speaking, but I get cut off.
- 1:11:14Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia was speaking, mr President, mr Vice President, I'm speaking, mr Vice President.
- 1:11:23Tony D.: I'm going to give you a little too big though.
- 1:11:26Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, Cynthia, Finish up what you were saying with your analysis of Tony Fischel.
- 1:11:29Cynthia: I think he needs to work on his own self-esteem and know that he is worthy of finding someone who values him as he should.
- 1:11:43Carmen Lezeth: I concur, Rick.
- 1:11:45Carmen Lezeth: Do you want to do an analysis from a male's point of view?
- 1:11:49Rick Costa: I rewatched the video we did with Steven Pena the other day.
- 1:11:52Rick Costa: Anybody can go back and verify that I said this.
- 1:11:56Rick Costa: I said Steven Pena, he definitely is ready for love, he definitely is a girlfriend, he's ready for.
- 1:12:02Rick Costa: I said Tony, no, not yet.
- 1:12:05Rick Costa: I'm not Ted.
- 1:12:06Rick Costa: Oh, cool, carmen.
- 1:12:08Carmen Lezeth: Ted.
- 1:12:08Carmen Lezeth: Oh, cool, carmen.
- 1:12:11Carmen Lezeth: Ted, I was just about to jump off Because we're 119, so if you're going to come up now, the one time I don't send him a link is when he Wants to come up.
- 1:12:23Carmen Lezeth: I'm not sending nobody.
- 1:12:25Tony D.: It was just us.
- 1:12:26Tony D.: We don't know.
- 1:12:29Rick Costa: Come up now.
- 1:12:30Rick Costa: If ever, hold your peace.
- 1:12:32Carmen Lezeth: Come up now.
- 1:12:33Carmen Lezeth: I forever hold your peace.
- 1:12:33Carmen Lezeth: Come up now, he can come up with me.
- 1:12:35Carmen Lezeth: I got to see if he comes up.
- 1:12:36Tony D.: If you're telling me I'll be honest.
- 1:12:37Tony D.: I'm careful with compliments.
- 1:12:39Tony D.: Some people make compliments, get them arrogant.
- 1:12:41Tony D.: What I do is control my arrogance.
- 1:12:43Carmen Lezeth: No, good try, but no, that's not it.
- 1:12:46Tony D.: You just cut me off.
- 1:12:46Tony D.: It's my show.
- 1:12:47Tony D.: I can do whatever I want.
- 1:12:52Tony D.: She got you there.
- 1:12:52Tony D.: She got you there.
- 1:12:53Tony D.: I'm going to get on mine, don't worry.
- 1:12:56Carmen Lezeth: I don't think Ted's coming up.
- 1:12:57Carmen Lezeth: I think he was lying.
- 1:12:58Tony D.: He is coming up.
- 1:12:59Tony D.: He's not going to tell you unless he's going to come.
- 1:13:00Carmen Lezeth: Oh, here he is.
- 1:13:00Carmen Lezeth: You want me to turn off Tony's mic.
- 1:13:05Carmen Lezeth: How you doing, yes.
- 1:13:09Ted Hicks: He usually turned off Tony's mic when Cynthia was speaking.
- 1:13:13Carmen Lezeth: Wow, you're right, cynthia.
- 1:13:16Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, that's okay Go ahead.
- 1:13:20Cynthia: Tony, you can rebuttal.
- 1:13:26Ted Hicks: He's got something special in that Pepsi.
- 1:13:30Tony D.: I've cut down on my liquor intake.
- 1:13:31Tony D.: Ted, are you still alone?
- 1:13:32Tony D.: Special in that Pepsi His peach schnapps.
- 1:13:33Tony D.: I've cut down on my liquor intake.
- 1:13:34Carmen Lezeth: Ted, are you still alone?
- 1:13:35Carmen Lezeth: Is your wife still having a great time traveling?
- 1:13:43Ted Hicks: Everyone is back under my roof, my roof.
- 1:13:44Ted Hicks: I didn't want to say that too loud.
- 1:13:47Cynthia: You did.
- 1:13:51Carmen Lezeth: How are you doing, Mr Hicks?
- 1:13:53Ted Hicks: I'm doing great.
- 1:13:54Ted Hicks: I'm doing great, enjoying the show, enjoying the content, and I don't know how we're going to follow this up.
- 1:14:02Carmen Lezeth: You're going to follow up.
- 1:14:02Carmen Lezeth: You guys should talk about parenting on the show late night.
- 1:14:05Carmen Lezeth: Parents, that would be nice to hear men talk about parenting.
- 1:14:10Ted Hicks: Just curious.
- 1:14:10Ted Hicks: We are going to talk about some men topic tonight, some men's type topics.
- 1:14:14Cynthia: Oh, we will, you're going to talk about selfishness.
- 1:14:17Cynthia: We usually do.
- 1:14:18Ted Hicks: We usually throw out a question or two and we embellish on it, and then we go on to the next topic.
- 1:14:24Carmen Lezeth: That's so weird.
- 1:14:25Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, you're noticing what I just did, right?
- 1:14:26Carmen Lezeth: You're noticing what I'm noticing Mm it, right?
- 1:14:34Tony D.: you noticing what I'm noticing ted hicks comes on the show and tony shuts the fuck up.
- 1:14:38Carmen Lezeth: Isn't that amazing?
- 1:14:38Carmen Lezeth: That ain't even what happened?
- 1:14:39Carmen Lezeth: It's exactly what happened.
- 1:14:40Rick Costa: It's exactly what happened I think tony's being respectful because he's been talking a lot and ted just got here, so he's I think carmen just wants to know what's his name going to be on the show tonight.
- 1:14:54Rick Costa: What's his name?
- 1:14:56Carmen Lezeth: No, he's not going to be on the show.
- 1:14:57Carmen Lezeth: Ted, still don't know who he is.
- 1:15:00Ted Hicks: Oh yeah, I still don't know who he is, and I did follow your friend.
- 1:15:03Ted Hicks: Oh really, I clicked on every social media account.
- 1:15:12Carmen Lezeth: He's not going to tell you nothing.
- 1:15:12Carmen Lezeth: She's not going to tell you nothing.
- 1:15:13Carmen Lezeth: She's not going to tell you nothing.
- 1:15:15Ted Hicks: And I was like hello.
- 1:15:17Carmen Lezeth: She's not going to.
- 1:15:18Carmen Lezeth: She ain't going to mess with you people, okay.
- 1:15:21Carmen Lezeth: Okay, tony, I feel like, do you want to say any last words or chime in any way?
- 1:15:27Carmen Lezeth: Or you want me to keep beating you up a bit?
- 1:15:29Carmen Lezeth: I want you to find love.
- 1:15:32Ted Hicks: I think you're a good person I'm taking my time before I accept it before you accept it because I have to be able to reciprocate the love that's given to me so basically, tony is saying I'm gonna help out, tony, he's taking a step forward, he he's listening to the advice Cynthia and you have provided.
- 1:15:54Ted Hicks: He's going to think about it, that's not what he's saying.
- 1:16:01Carmen Lezeth: Ted's over there stirring the pot.
- 1:16:03Carmen Lezeth: It's all bullshit, but you see how Tony's not reacting to him, just laughing, giggling.
- 1:16:07Carmen Lezeth: Tony, you know you treat women differently than you treat men, right?
- 1:16:13Tony D.: Look at how I get treated by women, oh.
- 1:16:16Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry.
- 1:16:18Carmen Lezeth: Who here has a nickname that she can't get rid of?
- 1:16:22Carmen Lezeth: Who, oh who?
- 1:16:26Carmen Lezeth: Who has a nickname here?
- 1:16:28Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, who is always dissing me for any little thing?
- 1:16:31Carmen Lezeth: I do Not, rick.
- 1:16:33Ted Hicks: Not Rick.
- 1:16:34Carmen Lezeth: Not Rick.
- 1:16:34Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you like to diss shit out, but I give you credit because you can take it too.
- 1:16:40Carmen Lezeth: That's why we get along.
- 1:16:41Carmen Lezeth: But I still think all that pain and hurt is you doing way too much of past over analysis to try to fix something that you got to.
- 1:16:55Carmen Lezeth: Just let it go.
- 1:16:56Carmen Lezeth: It was just a moment in time.
- 1:16:58Carmen Lezeth: It hurt but it's time to move forward.
- 1:17:00Carmen Lezeth: You're missing out.
- 1:17:02Cynthia: He's working on it.
- 1:17:03Cynthia: He's working on it, right, tony.
- 1:17:06Tony D.: Yes, within myself, I got to work on myself.
- 1:17:09Carmen Lezeth: Yes, we all do, I don't know, I'm fucking beautiful and shit, my spirit is on point.
- 1:17:18Carmen Lezeth: Self-confidence galore, right.
- 1:17:25Carmen Lezeth: Isn't that fun that's what it is.
- 1:17:30Rick Costa: I am beautiful, no matter what they say.
- 1:17:35Ted Hicks: Look it.
- 1:17:36Carmen Lezeth: I'm just kidding, but I think, tony, there's a lot of similarities between you and me.
- 1:17:40Carmen Lezeth: That's the only reason why I'm saying that is because I know what you're going through, because I've been there.
- 1:17:47Tony D.: I heard you say that and I know you're going to make.
- 1:17:49Tony D.: I did hear you when you said that I heard you say that and I know you're going to leave.
- 1:17:52Carmen Lezeth: I did hear you when you said that.
- 1:17:53Carmen Lezeth: You know I mean I'm just messing with you, but that's why I am feeling comfortable to say what I'm saying to you is because I've already been down that road.
- 1:17:59Carmen Lezeth: I know what it's like.
- 1:17:59Carmen Lezeth: And the problem with that the overanalyzing of what might have been what I could have done I got to fix myself, I got to do this or whatever is it keeps you from all the love that's in front of you.
- 1:18:12Carmen Lezeth: It's not just about romantic love, it's just all of everything that's in front of you.
- 1:18:16Carmen Lezeth: And sometimes living in the past and doing all that overly analysis stuff is also a safe place to be.
- 1:18:22Rick Costa: Yes it is.
- 1:18:23Carmen Lezeth: It's very safe.
- 1:18:24Rick Costa: When you've been hurt that deeply, that means you can love that deeply and for somebody to betray that it hurts what book you get there from Well I don't know, damn, maybe that was his genius bitch.
- 1:18:39Carmen Lezeth: Why are you being me?
- 1:18:40Carmen Lezeth: He's got the Lord and that's it Everyone.
- 1:18:45Carmen Lezeth: I've had a great time.
- 1:18:46Carmen Lezeth: Thank you so much Everyone for stopping by again.
- 1:18:49Carmen Lezeth: Remember, it's all about the joy, except for tony.
- 1:18:53Carmen Lezeth: No, it's all about the joy, baby.
- 1:18:56Carmen Lezeth: I appreciate you all coming on.
- 1:18:57Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, as always, tony, you know I got you.
- 1:19:00Carmen Lezeth: And ted hicks, thank you for coming up for five minutes I'll take it.
- 1:19:04Ted Hicks: All you have to do is send me the link.
- 1:19:06Ted Hicks: Oh, I was searching.
- 1:19:08Ted Hicks: I searched through my corporate email, my consultant email and then my personal email for tonight.
- 1:19:17Ted Hicks: I was like she includes me every week and I'm like did I do something wrong?
- 1:19:24Carmen Lezeth: Are you a lawyer by any?
- 1:19:24Rick Costa: chance.
- 1:19:25Carmen Lezeth: I didn't send it to anybody.
- 1:19:27Carmen Lezeth: So thank you everyone.
- 1:19:28Carmen Lezeth: We'll see you again next week.
- 1:19:29Carmen Lezeth: It's all about the joy.
- 1:19:31Carmen Lezeth: Bye, thanks for stopping's.
- 1:19:31Carmen Lezeth: All about the joy.
- 1:19:32Carmen Lezeth: Bye, thanks for stopping by.
- 1:19:34Carmen Lezeth: All about the joy.
- 1:19:35Carmen Lezeth: Be better and stay beautiful folks.
- 1:19:38Carmen Lezeth: Have a sweet day.
