Get ready to witness history in motion: a record-breaking, 6,800-mile nonmotorized relay kicks off from Point Reyes National Seashore, carrying copies of the Declaration of Independence all the way to Delaware to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Scheduled to hit the Golden Gate Bridge on July 4th and conclude on Thanksgiving, this epic journey—organized by the American Discovery Trail Society—is open to runners, cyclists, hikers, wheelchair users, and even horseback riders.
