- Sue: As I'm recording this, this is April Fool's Day, April Fri- And I understand in some Protestant sects today they consider the birthday of Jesus Christ. Confirmation with a woodpecker. Having been born a Methodist, I fell in line with everyone else that December 20th is the proper date. And of course, none of this can actually be historically pinned down. to that particular date, so what does it require? Faith. You have to embrace the things that you believe resonate with you, confirmation with a woodpecker, as truth, and be accepting of things that are outside that realm that others may consider to be truth based on their faith in truth. That's called discernment. Sometimes what you discern as truth may find you in a very lonely place because you're not going with the crowd, confirmation with a bluejay. No different than April Fool's Day, right? I don't know about you, but the first couple years that Google was putting up April Fool's messages, I got duped temporarily. And you find that reality comes in and sets the balance back to right, isn't it? It's all about knowing that even if the one thing that you believe that is contrary to everything that everybody else around you embraces as truth is truth, just might mean that everybody else is not. And good luck in trying to convince them otherwise at the moment. because everybody says there's safety in numbers and you go with the crowd and therefore that's the truth. I think there are a lot of things going on in our contemporary lives that we question whether something is the truth. And at some point we have to come to an agreement with ourselves what we believe is true and stand tall in that and have the grace and patience and the forgiveness when reality shows us otherwise. As I say, it might only be a minute or so when you look at a April Fools joke. So if you're the only one, contrary. to what everybody else believes. It doesn't diminish the truth, but it sure does require you to stand tall. Not be stubborn, but just have enough personal inner strength, knowing that at some point others will find the truth as you have and join you side by side. Standing alone is not easy. Well, for the things that I've had to stand alone for in my life, I confirm that. But just because everybody doesn't agree with my truth doesn't mean that I'm false. Inner strength, trusting your intuition. Can your intuition be fooled? No, you can fool yourself. Yeah, you can absolutely allow yourself to be distracted and confused, but your intuition is not gonna fail you. What'll fail you potentially is your interpretation of what your intuition is telling you. Learning how to discern is key. Understanding that just because everybody else believes this doesn't mean your belief is wrong. That's integrity. And the thing is, I talk about mind, body, and spirit all being imbalanced, being whole. So you hold this truth, so your spiritual world is right. Your body's not seeing any confirmation in the real world because everybody else is believing something else. So your body's out of balance. And intellectually, your mind is put in the middle, isn't it? What do I go with? Do I go with my spirit? Do I go with my body? I then better understood that the weight that my spiritual realm carries authority over my mind and body. It's what helps to keep everything aligned. But there's that moment when your mind is telling you intellectually, yeah, but you have no physical proof, so therefore it can't possibly be true. Huh, okay. This is the place where I, as a musician, have to remind myself that I don't actually have to see music in order to experience it know that it's true. And that's true with air, right? Humans breathe air, animals breathe air every day. We don't see it, but we know it's true. So why be challenging yourself about something spiritually that you can't physically or intellectually experience? And that's where all of the folks come in that don't want you to see the light to say, well, yeah, that's not true. Why? You're being a fool. And then you can turn that inward and feel down on yourself for feeling foolish for being called a fool. Ever feel that? That feels very real, but in fact, that's an illusion. You're allowing somebody to tell you. that you should feel foolish for what you feel. Well, who's the one with the delusion? You, trusting your intuition, leaning into your faith to accept that what you can't see or feel in the real world intellectually is still true, or somebody that's telling you, trying to control you, that it's not, because they don't have any more confirmations than you do. Thanks, and that's what carries me. to stay in balance between my mind, body, and spirit because I understand that all three are equally important to be in balance for me to be whole. I also understand that spiritually, because of my intuition and discernment, that has sort of the overriding determiner of my life. We all accept that things aren't always what they seem. Be comfortable with that and just understand that you're not alone. Distant Woodpecker confirming that. And that I stand beside you. because each of us are in control of ourselves. That's the most important truth of all. And ⁓ just because you feel that you're alone in your belief of truth, you're not lonely. Hold on and live in the truth, even if you are the only one. Have the patience with yourself to recognize it's gonna take time to find another one who shares your truth. I'll be there shoulder to shoulder. Till then, a nice day in the universe and be mindful. The truth is truth. Thank you for sharing your energy with me today. You are valued not only by me for listening to this content, but by yourself for having integrity to stand in your truth. Thank you.
