A tragic shooting and car crash on Carolyn Avenue in northeast Columbus claimed the life of Xavier Gibbs, 29, who was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that collided with another car. Police responded to gunfire reports around 9:45 PM and pronounced Gibbs dead at the hospital just before 11 PM. Two men, Dwayne Dowdell, 35, and Devin Taylor, 29, have been arrested and charged with murder.
