Speaker 1: Go to Britain. Gammon drives with us Morning Mac Morning,
• 0:03
Speaker 1: mic Very said, business with Michael Moseley.
• 0:07
Speaker 2: Yes so. Doctor Michael Moseley a well known TV doctor
• 0:10
Speaker 2: in this country, an author, very very successful podcaster as well.
• 0:16
Speaker 2: He has now been confirmed as having been found dead
• 0:19
Speaker 2: on a Greek island. They were on holiday, he and
• 0:22
Speaker 2: his wife, and sadly, after a time down at the beach,
• 0:26
Speaker 2: the sixty seven year old decided that he was going
• 0:28
Speaker 2: to walk back to where they were staying. It's rocky terrain,
• 0:31
Speaker 2: it's pretty steep, and the temperatures there are quite unforgiving.
• 0:35
Speaker 2: He went missing on Wednesday and his body was found
• 0:38
Speaker 2: a little earlier today. His wife, doctor Claire Bailey Mosley,
• 0:43
Speaker 2: said in a statement that it's devastating to have lost Michael,
• 0:46
Speaker 2: my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband. She also said
• 0:49
Speaker 2: he appeared to have taken the wrong route on the
• 0:52
Speaker 2: walk and then collapsed. There are no suspicious circumstances now.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: And then we've got the Euro twenty fours, which we're
• 0:58
Speaker 1: going to be a bit of an issue security wise,
• 1:00
Speaker 1: and the Germans have gone and nabbed somebody already.
• 1:04
Speaker 2: Yes, so you're right tension's pretty high around the world,
• 1:08
Speaker 2: of course, with gadsat Israel conflict, but trying to actually
• 1:11
Speaker 2: keep the Euro Championships safe is quite another matter. There
• 1:14
Speaker 2: are going to be lots of people traveling to the area,
• 1:17
Speaker 2: up to twelve million traveling to Germany for the event
• 1:20
Speaker 2: that kicks off on June the fourteenth. But now we
• 1:22
Speaker 2: learn that police in Germany have arrested a twenty three
• 1:25
Speaker 2: year old man on suspicion of being a terrorist because
• 1:28
Speaker 2: he was allegedly caught trying to sneak his way into
• 1:31
Speaker 2: the Euro twenty twenty four Championships as a security guard.
• 1:36
Speaker 2: He's been known only as Sufian Tea and is allowed
• 1:41
Speaker 2: the anonymity under German laws. He's alleged to have applied
• 1:44
Speaker 2: to work security on sort of side events outside one
• 1:47
Speaker 2: of the stadia in Germany, and they, of course a
• 1:50
Speaker 2: host in this tournament. It does run for several weeks
• 1:54
Speaker 2: and they are certainly taking it really very seriously. With
• 1:57
Speaker 2: security at an all time high. It is reported that
• 2:01
Speaker 2: all leave has been banned for serving officers and it
• 2:05
Speaker 2: is thought that many twenty two thousand federal officers will
• 2:10
Speaker 2: be at Borders Stadia public viewing areas like fan zones
• 2:13
Speaker 2: in order to try and keep things safe.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: Just while I've got you, Gevin, give me a read
• 2:16
Speaker 1: on the campaign and Rishi and the inexplicable decision to
• 2:21
Speaker 1: leave D Day. I mean, how do you even begin
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: to defend that?
• 2:26
Speaker 2: Yes, a very very good call. I mean, many are
• 2:29
Speaker 2: just saying they still can't believe he did it. If
• 2:32
Speaker 2: it was done on the advice of his advisors, why
• 2:35
Speaker 2: didn't he turn around and say no, that's going to
• 2:37
Speaker 2: get me in trouble. People are dumb struck by it,
• 2:39
Speaker 2: and of course opposition parties are saying, if that is
• 2:42
Speaker 2: his judgment on this matter, then he is not fit
• 2:46
Speaker 2: for more. From news talks, it'd be listen live on
• 2:48
Speaker 2: air or online and
• 2:50
Speaker 1: Keep our shows with you wherever you go with our
• 2:52
Speaker 1: podcasts on IR Radio.
