- 0:09It seemed as though everything stopped in North Texas on Wednesday, November thirtieth,
- 0:15twenty twenty two. That evening, seven year old Athena Strand went missing.
- 0:21She was last seen at her home at approximately five thirty pm. Wise
- 0:27County residents and some from the surrounding counties such as Tarrant and Parker, swarmed
- 0:33the area surrounding the little girl's home in the tiny town of Paradise, Texas,
- 0:38to help search. To their credit, the Wise County Sheriff's Office sprung
- 0:44into action fast enlisting the help of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the
- 0:49four Worth Police area, fire departments, and a canine rescue team. An
- 0:55amber alert was issued, and although that was not without its problems as usual
- 1:00concerning the implementation of the alert, it gained the attention of virtually every North
- 1:07Texan on the grid and arguably a helpful thing. Some, however, were
- 1:12less than helpful. As is the case with every high profile crime or disappearance,
- 1:19folks took to social media to offer speculation and character analyzes of those involved.
- 1:26Most, of course, graceless and since virtually no clues clearly pointed to
- 1:33what might have happened based upon nothing more than the few known details about Athena
- 1:38and her family. By the following morning, in fact, a Facebook group
- 1:42had been created, and when twenty four hours had gone by with no sign
- 1:48of the seven year old girl, things got ugly there. While social media
- 1:53has become an incredibly important tool for locating missing persons and identifying both victims and
- 1:59petrators of crimes, the members of this particular group seemed less interested in finding
- 2:06Athena Strand and more hell bent on a witch hunt for whoever was responsible.
- 2:10Even before knowing a crime had been committed, the focus quickly turned to Athena's
- 2:16parents. This Facebook group was filled with rumor fueled speculation and judgment of individuals
- 2:24who were living in conditions foreign to them, conditions they didn't understand and were
- 2:30quick to condemn as abusive for the lack of a term that better suits what
- 2:36they were doing. There, Folks were talking out of their asses. For
- 2:39instance, because it was reported Athena and her stepmother had gotten into an argument
- 2:45just prior to her disappearance, Commentors discussed with passion and certainty that the stepmother
- 2:52was responsible, that she was covering up killing the child, whether on purpose
- 2:57or by accident when she or Athena missing, Local media outlets mixing up minor
- 3:04details, and all the confusion of the fast paced investigation caused people to accuse
- 3:09Athena's stepmother of killing her straight out, and suggested the stepmother's friends were liars
- 3:15and co conspirators in the cover up. It didn't help that some volunteers had
- 3:22gone to search simply to feed exaggerated information that further spun the rumor mill.
- 3:29Even though Sheriff Lane Aiken insisted multiple times that there were absolutely no signs of
- 3:35foul play in or around the Strand home, folks were sure Athena's father and
- 3:39stepmother had been taken to the Wise County Sheriff's office to be interrogated until they
- 3:45confessed, seemingly unaware of the fact that questioning them is the most standard of
- 3:51procedures in such a case, or perhaps simply ignoring that fact to further fuel
- 3:57the vitriol. A slight second, the focus of suspicion turned to a co
- 4:02worker, though no one ever specified if it was someone who worked with Athena's
- 4:08father or stepmother. For another moment. Athena's father was the target of folks
- 4:15suspicions as they wondered if he actually had not headed to a Bear County hunting
- 4:19lease and was disposing of her body without any proof whatsoever, because none existed.
- 4:27Throughout all this, it should be noted there were many voices of reason
- 4:30trying to curb the rumor based speculation, but they weren't nearly as loud and
- 4:36easily drowned out. On the third day of searches, the body of seven
- 4:42year old Athena Strand was found about nine miles southeast of her home near Boyd
- 4:47at the edge of the waters of the Trinity River's West Fork. Thirty one
- 4:54year old FedEx contracted driver Tanner Lynn Horner of Lake Worth led police to her
- 5:00after being arrested earlier in the day and confessing. In that confession, Horner
- 5:05claims to have accidentally hit Athena with his box truck after delivering a package to
- 5:12the Strand home, later revealed to be a set of Barbie dolls the seven
- 5:15year old was to be given for Christmas. Panicked and scared she would tell,
- 5:20Horner went on he put Athena in the box truck, tried snapping her
- 5:27neck but couldn't, so instead strangled her to death with his bare hands.
- 5:33According to Sheriff Aiken, Athena is thought to have been killed about one hour
- 5:39after her abduction, and other reports by the lawman suggest the injuries to the
- 5:44seven year old's body are inconsistent with Horner's story. Tannerlyn Horner was charged with
- 5:50capital murder and aggravated kidnapping. A couple weeks after his arrest, media outlets
- 5:57discovered that Horner had also been charged with three counts of sexual assault of a
- 6:01child under seventeen years old in Tarrant County. These three separate incidents took place
- 6:09in twenty thirteen, apparently, and are unrelated to Athena's case. Now,
- 6:16the person who allegedly killed Athena's strand is behind bars with little to no chance
- 6:23of seeing the light of day until after trial, if at all, but
- 6:27the compounding anguish the rabid public speculation has caused cannot be undone. Athena's father
- 6:34and stepmother have been particularly hurt and during what was likely the worst time of
- 6:41their lives. Even though many of the most vituperative and vitriolic comments about them
- 6:46have been deleted, perhaps out of remorse or shame. Hopefully, at least
- 6:55this is not a rare or isolated occurrence. Unfortunately. In fact, it
- 7:00happened less than a year prior, in December twenty twenty one, when three
- 7:04year old Lina sardar Kill disappeared, But because she remains missing to this day,
- 7:12the hostile and baseless allegations have continued for much longer and are made with
- 7:17much greater fervor, as the parents of the child are Afghan refugees, a
- 7:23group that has been the target of extreme hate speech and violence in the United
- 7:28States since the attack on New York's Twin Towers. On September eleventh, two
- 7:32thousand and one, when San Antonio Police Chief William McManus and the officers under
- 7:46his charge began searching for three year old Lina sardar Kill, he was hopeful
- 7:53they'd acted fast, had spared absolutely no resource, and we're sure they'd find
- 7:59witnesses who could point them in the right direction. But after a few days
- 8:03hopes were dashed. Nothing was panning out other than a few witnesses who saw
- 8:11Lena playing in and around the playground at the complex where she lived, the
- 8:16Vias del Cabo apartments. No one came forward with anything that suggested where she
- 8:22went or what happened to her. SAPD and the FBI alongside them, had
- 8:28chased down every tip that came their way, no matter how improbable it might
- 8:31have sounded. They even followed up on leads provided by psychics, to no
- 8:37avail. Of course, FBI profilers were brought in to assess the type of
- 8:43individual who would abduct the little girl, but apparently there were no suspects who
- 8:48fit the mold. After hundreds of patrolman, detectives and agents scoured the Villas
- 8:56del Cabo, the adjacent apartment complex, and a large perimeter of the surrounding
- 9:01area, not so much as a clue emerged, besides the fact that a
- 9:05San Antonio police dog picked up Lena's scent and lost it at the parking lot.
- 9:13Though Rheas and Zarmina sardar Kill held out hope that their daughter would be
- 9:18found, each day that passed chipped away a little more at it. During
- 9:24a search for the three year old girl, on Thursday, December thirtieth,
- 9:28twenty twenty one, a plastic bag of bones was found by volunteer searchers on
- 9:33the ninety eight hundred block of Fredericksburg Road, in a small wooded area very
- 9:39close to Lina's apartment complex. This led to rampant speculation by folks keeping up
- 9:46with the case on social media, even though the missing child's remains would not
- 9:50have been reduced to bone only ten days after her disappearance, particularly in the
- 9:56cool weather. Like many other aspects of the case from minute one, the
- 10:01online scrutiny did little to help and was in fact responsible for spreading misinformation about
- 10:09nearly every detail, as folks seemingly made up things they presented as facts based
- 10:15upon what they believed happened to Lena or what should be happening in the investigation.
- 10:22A plainclothe that Chief McManus was forced to stop searching and hold a short
- 10:28press briefing assuring the public that the bones had nothing to do with Lena's case.
- 10:33It wasn't even clear if they were human at all. We could find
- 10:37nothing more about them, so it isn't haphazard to assume that they were indeed
- 10:43animal remains. It was neither the first nor last time the amateur sleuths would
- 10:50live up to the adjective in their description. The necessary details to make an
- 10:56informed decision not to speculate were readily available online, but reading past an article's
- 11:03headline was perhaps counterintuitive to the deep rooted prejudices that were to come when the
- 11:09speculation turned to hateful and xenophobic rants about conspiracies that made little to no sense
- 11:18based upon nothing factual. Eventually, the threats of violence against the anguished parents
- 11:24of the missing toddler would force police to cancel searches. But before it came
- 11:30to that, in early twenty twenty two, a tip came in that caught
- 11:33the eye of an ever watchful media. On January fifth, twenty twenty two,
- 11:50and eleven person FBI Underwater Search and Evidence Response Team came to San Antonio.
- 11:58Considered the best of the best, the divers wasted no time checking out
- 12:03a tip the SAPD had received as they inspected a creek near Babcock and Hubner
- 12:09Roads, a little more than two miles west of the sardar Kill home.
- 12:16Though they would not share details of the tip that led them there, the
- 12:20authorities did divulge that they found nothing. On January seventh, the Amber alert
- 12:26for three year old Lina was canceled, and though the police did not mince
- 12:31words when they said the investigation had not stopped, folks online began suggesting the
- 12:37cops knew what happened and that a conspiracy was afoot. In reality, the
- 12:43lack of the description of an abductor's vehicle, a usual requirement for the alerts,
- 12:48likely played a key role in the decision to take it down. At
- 12:52this point, Lina's face and description, anyway, were everywhere. Soon after
- 13:01Lina sardar Kill went missing, the nonprofit Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach not only
- 13:07joined in on the search, but also began giving the family support. Alongside
- 13:13the local Afghan community. Eagle's Flight founder Pamela Allen organized searches that spread across
- 13:20nearly thirty square miles of brushy fields and creek beds in San Antonio's northwest alongside
- 13:28Leon Creek Greenway. When folks reported seeing vultures circling an area, Pamela would
- 13:35organize a party to check it out. Although frustrated and saddened that their teams
- 13:41never found anything, Pamela was relieved she never unzipped an old suit case or
- 13:46lifted a discarded sheet of plywood to find Lina's body. Eagle's flight got countless
- 13:52bad tips, as did the San Antonio Police, FBI and the sardar Kills,
- 13:58from a man in Jordan who claimed Lina was in one of various cities
- 14:03in California, leading Rhazon with promises his daughter would be back by Ramadon to
- 14:09a tip that Lina had been buried in a vacant lot thick with trees,
- 14:13dense bushes, and wild thistles off Fredericksburg Road. Neither tip led to anything
- 14:20at all. On February seventeenth, twenty twenty two, it was announced that
- 14:28the Islamic Center of San Antonio was increasing their offered reward from one hundred and
- 14:33fifty thousand to two hundred thousand dollars, bringing the total reward to two hundred
- 14:39and fifty thousand dollars the other fifty offered within days of the girl's disappearance by
- 14:45crimestoppers. On a somber and emotional February twentieth, twenty twenty two, the
- 14:52sardar Kill family observed Lina's fourth birthday. Though the occasion was difficult, Ryaz
- 15:00and Zarmina still believed their daughter was alive, so did an investigator and his
- 15:05team who the family requested to come in early on. Retired FBI from Project
- 15:13Absentis came into the investigation in January of twenty twenty two. Pro bono and
- 15:18former federal agent, private investigator and CEO of the group, Mark Painia commented
- 15:26that his team had gathered quite a bit of information, but he was perplexed
- 15:30that none of it had led to Lena's whereabouts or what might have happened to
- 15:35her. She's just a precious little girl, and you know, I can't
- 15:37imagine anybody that would have any nefarious or sinister thoughts about her. Paenya said,
- 15:45We're very hopeful that she's still alive and we're going to continue searching for
- 15:50her. But nine months after the disappearance, Paenya's men did discover something that
- 15:56might have given the police the best lead they'd come upon yet. As they
- 16:02scoured arrest records for individuals who had been charged with sexual crimes against miners,
- 16:07the team at Project Absentis stumbled upon an arrest that piqued their interest. In
- 16:15late summer twenty twenty two, a tip came into the National Center for Missing
- 16:18and Exploited Children cyber Tipline. According to the Texas State Attorney General's Office quote,
- 16:26the tip alledged the transmission of a video file of child pornography to an
- 16:32online account that depicted a little girl who appeared to be between seven and nine
- 16:37years old. The man's cell phone was located in his vehicle and searched.
- 16:41An online account that matched the one reported on the tip line was found on
- 16:48the device, according to investigators end quote. On September first, twenty twenty
- 16:55two, Dost Mohammed Mohammed Omar was taken into custody in San Antonio's Medical Center
- 17:00area. While the arrest was taking place, Omar spontaneously and without coercion,
- 17:07told investigators that he did not make the video, but just sent it out
- 17:12to the group, a statement that most likely can and will be admissible at
- 17:17trial, should there be one. The thirty five year old man was charged
- 17:22with possession with intent to promote child pornography and his bond was set at one
- 17:27hundred thousand dollars. During a search warrant executed at Omar's home, child Exploitation
- 17:36Unit investigators seized many electronic devices to be examined by a digital forensics team.
- 17:44The team at Project Absentis learned not only did this arrest take place less than
- 17:49one mile from the apartment of the sardar Kill family, but also that the
- 17:55man once lived at the Villa's del Cabo, where Lena vanished. Further,
- 18:00Dost Mohammed Mohammed Omar, the alleged child pornographer, was known by and familiar
- 18:07to the sardar Kills. Though it's unknown to us if the San Antonio Police
- 18:15and the FBI have yet exhausted this lead, it's doubtful since the arrest is
- 18:21fairly recent. Although the public response to the disappearance of three year old Lina
- 18:27sardar Kill was mostly positive and supportive of Rhyaz and Zarmina, a particularly loud,
- 18:34hateful, and eventually threatening subset emerged at the get go. Lina's parents
- 18:42were well aware of accusations against them and hurt by them. They began with
- 18:48folks dipping their toes in the water with comments like I think there's more to
- 18:52this story when referring to Zarmina's account of that afternoon. It escalated did quickly
- 19:00as mob minded social media and message board commenters lit their torches and gathered their
- 19:07pitchforks. First, Zarmina was dragged through the mud for leaving Lena to play
- 19:12unsupervised, which wasn't really what happened at all. But reading a four hundred
- 19:18word article or two was either too big an undertaking or the simple words within
- 19:23too incomprehensible. Before knowing all the facts that the Sardark Hills were to attend
- 19:30a very special dinner with family they hadn't seen in two years, one commenter
- 19:36suggested that things weren't as they appeared. What I thought was strange was that
- 19:41she was playing in that pretty dress and shoes. Most parents don't let them
- 19:45play in their nice clothes, right unless you stop after going someplace. But
- 19:51she was at her apartment. It's coded, But this person is planting the
- 19:55seeds for someone with enough nerve to suggest Lena was fancied up to be given
- 20:00away as a child bride. It took a couple hours, but several bigots
- 20:06finally took that bait, as you'll see here soon. Here's another incredibly judgmental
- 20:11and subjective verbatim Facebook comment that doesn't beat around the bush as much, left
- 20:18on a post made by the San Antonio police on day one. The mom
- 20:22didn't report her missing for like almost two hours, which I think was plenty
- 20:26of time for her to stage this and or cover her tracks. How sad
- 20:32the truth will reveal itself. And another I'm no detective, but I smell
- 20:37another Casey Anthony situation. But I hope I am wrong and she is safe
- 20:41and healthy. You most certainly are not a detective. Anyway, it got
- 20:48much worse. I think that the parents probably killed their daughter two, especially
- 20:52if the mom is pregnant with a boy. The father's interview sounds rehearsed and
- 20:57full of lies. One read and another bizarre comment referred to a photo where
- 21:03Lina wore gold bangles. If she had that much gold in her hands in
- 21:07the missing day, I bet you that was the reason. It is not
- 21:11wise thing to do for the child. And in response to that gold is
- 21:17not as expensive there as it is here, apparently referring to the poor,
- 21:21small and tribal village where the sardar Kill family come from. I have friends
- 21:26who are from the Middle East, an Indian, etc. And their gold
- 21:30is always real. No, you don't those bangles anyway, We're gold colored
- 21:37blue plastic I'm sure they saw everything, but the community is keeping it contained.
- 21:44Child Bride comes to mind, and referring to the birth of Rhyaz and
- 21:48Zarmina's son six months after Lena disappeared, hopefully she won't sell this one.
- 21:56Also enough already there are plenty of missing American children. Let's focus on them,
- 22:03not some kid the father probably sold for money. And finally, you
- 22:07need to understand how much of the world views your familial practice of selling off
- 22:12your daughters to survive financially, regardless of the effects on the daughter horrific.
- 22:19Maybe mom is in bad shape due to guilt. I pray for that child
- 22:23and the soul of whoever arranged this. There are many more examples of the
- 22:30ignorant generalizations and baseless allegations Zarmina and Reas faced all over the Internet, but
- 22:38the point has been made. Eventually, the hurtful and xenophobic online comments turned
- 22:45into something potentially physically dangerous. After countless large scale searches by law enforcement and
- 23:04organizations like the Heidi Search Center and Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach, no evidence
- 23:11pointing to the whereabouts of Lena Sardark Hill or what happened to her could be
- 23:17found. The San Antonio police were diplomatic when they announced their decision to suspend
- 23:23public searches and August of twenty twenty two, but the truth is social media
- 23:30influencers and conspiracy theorists posing as volunteers while spreading false information in real time through
- 23:37posts and tiktoks about supposed evidence they'd found, was among the reasons help from
- 23:45civilians was mixed, but it's certainly not the only reason. Besides being bombarded
- 23:52with messages accusing him of selling his daughter as a child bride, Rias barely
- 23:57avoided being physically attacked when he was accosted by a stranger in the parking lot
- 24:03after returning home from work. Luckily, neighbors swarmed in to help protect Rhyas
- 24:10from the outsider. People continually knocked on the sardar killed door but ran before
- 24:17it could be answered, and one particularly belligerent and threatening man repeatedly beat on
- 24:22the door until Rhas answered. When he did, the man yelled at him
- 24:27about his daughter's disappearance. When the agonized father finally broke and stood his ground,
- 24:34the little man cowered and never returned, though he and Zarmina were constantly
- 24:41bombarded with accusations of either direct or indirect responsibility, None of the harassers stopped
- 24:48to consider not only the language barrier and the way the media sloppily handled that
- 24:55problem, but also the differences in culture in afghan Inistan, Riaz and many
- 25:00others who are in no way connected to the case have pointed out child abductions
- 25:06were incredibly rare in the small village where they were from. The children were
- 25:11almost always left to play unsupervised because everyone in the village was close knit.
- 25:18There was no danger, at least not of kidnappings. If one did occur,
- 25:23Riaz pointed out, it was almost always for ransom and the child is
- 25:29eventually returned unharmed. He acknowledged the fact that sometimes poor families in Afghanistan sell
- 25:37their children in order to eat, but this was something Rias did not need
- 25:41to do. He was very well paid. Even if he wasn't well paid,
- 25:45the loving father would never have sold or given away his little girl,
- 25:51Lena, as anyone who spends the time to look for the many photos of
- 25:55her and Rias will see, was the light of this man's life and of
- 26:00Zarmina's. Because Zarmina Sardar kill was never seen on camera. Online salutes used
- 26:10it as some sort of proof that she was responsible, that she felt guilty,
- 26:15or didn't want people to see that she was emotionless. Those allegations or
- 26:21supposed clues are nonsensical, but there's a reason anyway for this. Rias feared
- 26:27Zarmina becoming a victim of a Taliban crackdown on women being seen or heard in
- 26:33public spaces. He felt the need to protect his wife and his family from
- 26:40retaliation. The Taliban had threatened their lives before because he worked alongside US forces
- 26:47in Afghanistan. Speaking of which it should probably be noted that Riaz sardar Kill
- 26:55has done more for the United States than most of its natural born citizens,
- 27:00and yet still faces xenophobic insults, allegations, and physical threats from anonymous cheeto
- 27:07dusted finger keyboard warriors who've likely never had to see the grave danger this man
- 27:12has. YouTube shows and message boards continued to further the islamophobic narrative that the
- 27:21family sold off their daughter for money or as a child bride. It is
- 27:26shameful and counterproductive to finding this child, as are the conspiracy theories that are
- 27:33focused on others. In one unhinged and unintelligible rant. On a social media
- 27:40post thread, a woman posted several photos she took of a little girl who
- 27:45maybe slightly resembles Lena sardar Kill and a man she was with, perhaps her
- 27:52father or grandfather. Because she'd been traveling the country handing out Lena's missing persons
- 27:57flyers and claimed this man who had the little girl began following her even though
- 28:04he appears to have no idea she's taking pictures of him. The photos were
- 28:11taken in Minnesota, she wrote, and Chief McManus not only knew Lena was
- 28:15never abducted, but was also pulling a scam alongside Senator John Cornyn's assistant Wild.
- 28:25It's never explained what this scam is, however, and she ends her
- 28:29first of many comments in a very predictable way, go back to your own
- 28:34country immediately. A woman just went to prison for faking her own kidnapping and
- 28:40abduction. What should we do to Lena's parents? A comment by a different
- 28:45poster read pretty sure one of SAPD officer abducted her. Even Pamela Allen of
- 28:53Eagle's Flight advocacy and outreach became the focus of unhinged individuals because she was being
- 29:00harassed. Pamela's husband hired a bodyguard to go out with searchers, and the
- 29:07harassment got so bad she was forced to call off a few She and the
- 29:12searchers, who were looking for a three year old child, were being stalked
- 29:18and filmed. In fact, as Pamela's mother was dying from leukemia at her
- 29:22home, she was being stalked. Her son, too, became the target
- 29:29of such folks. Pamela pointed out the transparent bigotry that these dangerous individuals displayed.
- 29:37What if she had blonde hair and blue eyes? What if his last
- 29:40name was Smith? Would you be saying that stuff? Absolutely not. She
- 29:45went on to point out that Rheas was brought over here for he and his
- 29:49family's safety after serving this country. Essentially, then this happens, she said,
- 29:57Rias and Zarmina too disillusioned. We came from Afghanistan to have a happy
- 30:03and safe life here, but it didn't happen. My whole life was ruined.
- 30:10The US was different than I thought it was. Riaz said, if
- 30:15he had stayed he went on, then maybe Lena would still be with him.
- 30:22Six months after, Lena disappeared. When their third child was born,
- 30:26Zarmina and Rias struggled to celebrate, struggled to feel joy. Their second child
- 30:33sometimes yells for his sister when he sees a little girl who looks like her.
- 30:40Zarmina dreams of her daughter calling out for her help. She'd give whoever
- 30:45took her whatever they want, the mother told a reporter for a local television
- 30:48station. Rias struggled to put into words how he felt, but tried.
- 30:56He said that Lina was eighty percent of their lives. The home is now
- 31:00empty and lonely. The family has not lost hope and continues to search for
- 31:07Lena, though seemingly baffled authorities to believe that Lena's case can be solved no
- 31:15matter the outcome. On the one year anniversary of her disappearance, the San
- 31:21Antonio Police released never before seen footage of Lena moments before she vanished. Taken
- 31:27by a residence security camera, Lena can be seen beginning to wander off from
- 31:34her mother and brother. It was taken lead detective on Lena's case, Jeremy
- 31:40Voltz, says at four forty nine PM in the clip, though they did
- 31:45not release this particular part, the detective says, Lena can be seen leaving
- 31:51the camera's line of sight. When the next piece of footage is captured eighteen
- 31:56minutes later, Lena is nowhere to be seen. The FBI's current objective,
- 32:04Detective Voltz, says, is determining what was happening, who was there during
- 32:09that nearly twenty minute gap in footage. We've received hundreds of leads that we've
- 32:15followed up on, he added. Unfortunately, none of the leads we have
- 32:19received have led us definding Lena. Until she's found, no person and no
- 32:24theory can be ruled out. San Antonio's Special Victims Unit specializes in sex assault
- 32:32crimes. Two SVU agents have been assigned to Lena's case full time. San
- 32:40Antonio Police Chief William McManus said that there is a person of interest in the
- 32:45disappearance, but for now and until new information comes to light, the department
- 32:52is left empty handed. According to Pamela Allen, besides the harassment and bad
- 32:59faith Tiktoker's posing as volunteers, the public searches were called off because authorities believed
- 33:06that Lena was no longer in Texas. Retired FBI agent Mark Paenya said that
- 33:13he believes his team at Project Absentis have determined that Lena left the area near
- 33:19her mother voluntarily, having walked away with individuals she trusted. Witnesses, Penya
- 33:25went on, saw the little girl walking with various people that day. Perhaps
- 33:31she was lured into a vehicle and taken away, but there was no indication
- 33:37she was snatched by someone lurking in the shadows. As Penya put it,
- 33:42the police are crystal clear when expressing one belief that someone who has yet to
- 33:47come forward saw something that will break the investigation wide open, something that will
- 33:53either bring Lena back to her parents or put them on the right track to
- 33:58finding out what happened. So Riaz and Zarmina sardar Kill might have answers.
