Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: Sophie Torber and coming up on today's show, Veruca Salt's
- 0:14Speaker 1: not-so-surprising divorce, Indy Clinton's controversial decision to change her daughter's
- 0:19Speaker 1: December birthday. And Britt Hockley teases a move overseas. But first,
- 0:25Speaker 1: Laura Henshaw has announced the arrival of her baby boy, Kate.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I've been closely monitoring her Instagram account ever since she
- 0:31Speaker 1: said on her podcast that it's her birth week this week.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Steph Gless-Smith seemed beside herself with excitement. It was almost
- 0:38Speaker 1: as if, I mean, it kind of reminded me of
- 0:40Speaker 1: with you guys. I'm like, I'm so excited for you
- 0:42Speaker 1: to just get it. Yeah, she did make that very
- 0:44Speaker 1: clear in a post we are going to speak about shortly.
- 0:47Speaker 1: But Yeah, all week I kept thinking about it because
- 0:49Speaker 1: Laura Henshaw knew the date that she was going to
- 0:51Speaker 1: give birth because as she has spoken about and we've
- 0:54Speaker 1: spoken about, she had a planned C-section, which seemed to
- 0:57Speaker 1: be quite controversial for some idiots on the internet. Just
- 1:02Speaker 1: to put it bluntly. Well, that's how I feel about it,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'm afraid. No, I tend to agree. Now, Laura broke
- 1:07Speaker 1: the news on Saturday, sharing a cute family photo in
- 1:10Speaker 1: the recovery room following her C-section. So Her husband Dalton
- 1:14Speaker 1: was in blue scrubs whilst Laura was breastfeeding her new baby.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And in the post, she revealed his much anticipated name,
- 1:22Speaker 1: writing our whole world baby Atlas. I was pretty thrown
- 1:27Speaker 1: by the name. It wasn't what I was expecting. Laura
- 1:29Speaker 1: has spoken in depth about how her and Dalton just
- 1:32Speaker 1: don't like the same names. They've been clashing over them.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Apparently they've been having dinner parties with friends and saying
- 1:37Speaker 1: the names that they like and saying how many votes
- 1:40Speaker 1: they get. The thing is, I was expecting something not
- 1:43Speaker 1: so traditional when I heard that Laura's top suggestion was
- 1:47Speaker 1: the name August, which is actually quite a cute name.
- 1:50Speaker 1: It reminds me of Taylor Swift's song. Whereas Dalton liked
- 1:52Speaker 1: American sounding names like Brooke. So they had very different tastes.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But Laura revealed on a podcast episode that they'd come
- 1:59Speaker 1: to an agreement on a name that provided lots of
- 2:01Speaker 1: different nicknames. And so I thought it must be Alfred.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Because you've got Alfie, you've got Alfie, you've got Fred,
- 2:07Speaker 1: you've got Freddie. Like it's a very versatile name. Why Alfie?
- 2:10Speaker 1: There's lots of other names that have nicknames. Well, I
- 2:12Speaker 1: just think it's one of the cool names out there
- 2:14Speaker 1: at the moment. Alfie. Yeah. So I was like, okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: it's kind of traditional, but you've got variations to it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I don't think listeners will be surprised to hear that
- 2:22Speaker 1: this name isn't necessarily a my cup of tea. We
- 2:25Speaker 1: all like quite traditional mainstream names. That's not to say
- 2:29Speaker 1: that this isn't their cup of tea. So I'm happy
- 2:31Speaker 1: for them if this is a name that they love.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I don't want to sound too judgmental, but I personally never...
- 2:36Speaker 1: even knew that this was a name. Have you never
- 2:37Speaker 1: heard it before? Shay Mitchell's got a daughter called Atlas.
- 2:40Speaker 1: There's quite a few influencers that have called their child Atlas. No,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I have never, ever, ever heard it. That's why I
- 2:45Speaker 1: was completely thrown when I saw it. I did like
- 2:48Speaker 1: that Laura kind of had a bit of a pun
- 2:50Speaker 1: with the whole announcement by saying our whole world, baby Atlas. Oh, okay.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That went over my head. Did she use the globe
- 2:56Speaker 1: as well? I think so. I remember there was some
- 2:58Speaker 1: speculation when Sarah's day was pregnant that she was purposely
- 3:02Speaker 1: choosing baby names that could be represented by an emoji
- 3:05Speaker 1: because she has a fox. So there's a fox emoji.
- 3:07Speaker 1: She had Malachi, which means angel. There's an angel. The
- 3:10Speaker 1: theory got thrown out the window when she had Harlow.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't really know what you'd use there, but that
- 3:14Speaker 1: was at a time when it was very in vogue
- 3:17Speaker 1: for influencers to tease what their baby names were and
- 3:20Speaker 1: for people to guess. I don't think that is as
- 3:23Speaker 1: popular now. Now, this post from Laura was incredibly popular
- 3:27Speaker 1: at the time of recording. It has had 70,000 likes.
- 3:31Speaker 1: The Blue Tick Brigade was also out and forced to
- 3:33Speaker 1: congratulate her. So Tully Smythe wrote, congratulations team. So, so
- 3:38Speaker 1: thrilled for you. Love the name so much. Whilst Victoria
- 3:41Speaker 1: Devine wrote, congrats, my love. Welcome to the world, Atlas.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You're already so loved. Now, I didn't know that Bec
- 3:47Speaker 1: Judd was friendly with Laura Henshaw. She wrote, congratulations, mum
- 3:51Speaker 1: and dad. Whilst Michelle Andrews wrote, precious baby boy has
- 3:54Speaker 1: the best, best, best mum. Steph Glessmith also joined in
- 3:58Speaker 1: and wrote, our little man. We actually did our own
- 4:00Speaker 1: post congratulating Laura on the news, and there was quite
- 4:04Speaker 1: a strong reaction to the name from our listeners. One
- 4:07Speaker 1: user wrote, Atlas has the weight of the world on
- 4:09Speaker 1: his shoulders, but congrats, healthy baby is all you want.
- 4:13Speaker 1: While another said he'll be handy. On road trips, the
- 4:16Speaker 1: poor kid. A couple of other listeners also weighed in
- 4:18Speaker 1: saying that they felt uncomfortable with people making judgments or
- 4:22Speaker 1: comments about other people's choices of baby names. So it
- 4:24Speaker 1: was a bit of a mixed comment section. In this instance,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I think because Laura has been so vocal about her
- 4:30Speaker 1: and Dalton fighting back and forth about the name, there
- 4:32Speaker 1: was always going to be a lot of intrigue and
- 4:34Speaker 1: I suppose judgment about what it was going to be.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I think anytime you choose an out there name, of
- 4:41Speaker 1: course there's going to be comments. We didn't get to
- 4:43Speaker 1: find out what the middle name was, though, because on
- 4:45Speaker 1: Laura's podcast, she spoke about how they had asked Dalton's
- 4:48Speaker 1: father if they could use his name as the middle name.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And he actually came back to them and said, oh, well,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I don't actually really like my name that much. Can
- 4:55Speaker 1: I just come up with another name? And this is,
- 4:57Speaker 1: of course, because Dalton has actually taken the last name Henshaw.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So they wanted Dalton's family to feel included. Yeah, because
- 5:05Speaker 1: Atlas is Atlas Henshaw. Aside from the name, another thing
- 5:09Speaker 1: that surprised me was the fact that Laura showed her
- 5:11Speaker 1: newborn's face. Because it's been a hot topic because her
- 5:14Speaker 1: best friend and business partner, Steph Clare Smith, was the
- 5:17Speaker 1: talk of the town when she stopped showing her son's face.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We've discussed it in length on our podcast, Steph then
- 5:23Speaker 1: had another baby six months ago and she decided from
- 5:26Speaker 1: the get-go not to show her face. And Steph ended
- 5:29Speaker 1: up coming out and saying, well, I actually would have
- 5:31Speaker 1: been quite comfortable showing her face as a newborn because
- 5:34Speaker 1: I changed so much, but I knew that I would
- 5:36Speaker 1: receive a lot of backlash for doing so. Well, it
- 5:38Speaker 1: sounded like Laura and Dalton were quite undecided. It seemed
- 5:42Speaker 1: like Laura was okay about sharing it, whereas Dalton was
- 5:45Speaker 1: a bit more conservative with his feelings towards it. I mean- Again,
- 5:50Speaker 1: this is a newborn. They are going to change. I
- 5:53Speaker 1: don't think it really matters that much. He's a very
- 5:56Speaker 1: cute baby, I have to say, though. He is absolutely adorable. Yeah, well,
- 6:00Speaker 1: on the podcast episode where she was discussing it with Steph,
- 6:03Speaker 1: she said potentially she might feel comfortable showing his face
- 6:06Speaker 1: for the first couple of months and then stop doing it.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So it'll be interesting to see how she tackles it.
- 6:11Speaker 1: She did say, oh, well, you know, if he's really cute,
- 6:13Speaker 1: we'll probably show him, and he is adorable. That's the
- 6:15Speaker 1: difficult thing. When you have a baby, you're just so–
- 6:18Speaker 1: proud of them. And you sort of want to be like, look, everyone,
- 6:21Speaker 1: how cute are they? Yeah. Now, following Laura's announcement post,
- 6:25Speaker 1: Steph did one of her own. So she shared a
- 6:27Speaker 1: series of black and white photos of her lying in
- 6:30Speaker 1: the hospital bed next to Laura. And Laura was holding
- 6:33Speaker 1: Steph's daughter, Billy, while Steph was holding Atlas. And Steph
- 6:38Speaker 1: wrote about her excitement of seeing her best friend with
- 6:41Speaker 1: a baby for the first time. She then spoke about
- 6:44Speaker 1: knowing what's ahead for Dalton and Laura saying, Welcome to
- 6:47Speaker 1: the club of late night texts, venting sessions, gigantic coffees,
- 6:51Speaker 1: endless questions, delayed responses, letting go of control, tired hellos,
- 6:57Speaker 1: bringing up your child in any conversation you can, and
- 7:00Speaker 1: a joy that's impossible to explain. Reading between the lines,
- 7:04Speaker 1: she is saying, thank God you're finally having a child, Laura,
- 7:08Speaker 1: so that you get it. Yeah, that you're finally on
- 7:10Speaker 1: the same page. For me, I had to wait 10
- 7:12Speaker 1: months with Amy and a year for you. Well, I mean-
- 7:14Speaker 1: Steph had to wait four years. Her son Harvey's four
- 7:17Speaker 1: years old. Yeah, she's been waiting a long time. So
- 7:18Speaker 1: I can see why she was so excited. It's funny
- 7:21Speaker 1: because you guys have both apologized to me since you've
- 7:24Speaker 1: had a baby. I just think a lot of people
- 7:26Speaker 1: go on an apology tour and I think that Laura
- 7:28Speaker 1: will probably be the same. I'm so interested to hear
- 7:31Speaker 1: her give an update on her podcast about what it's like.
- 7:33Speaker 1: She teased that she will be back pretty soon on there. Oh,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'm hanging out for it.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Going to be some changes. For example, we might be
- 7:41Speaker 3: saying ciao a lot more.
- 7:43Speaker 1: We 100% are going to be saying ciao a lot more.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Bria Hockley has teased she's moving to Italy to live
- 7:49Speaker 1: with her soccer player husband. The admission was made in
- 7:52Speaker 1: Life Uncut's Spotify wrapped video. Yeah, this year Spotify has
- 7:56Speaker 1: introduced this new feature where podcasters can film a video
- 8:00Speaker 1: for their top listeners, essentially thanking them for their support.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I want to peel back the curtain for a second
- 8:05Speaker 1: because we were actually asked by Spotify to film one
- 8:08Speaker 1: for our listeners. And firstly, I want to say, sorry,
- 8:11Speaker 1: we didn't get around to doing it. But secondly, I'm
- 8:13Speaker 1: quite glad that we didn't because I think that ours
- 8:15Speaker 1: would have looked very amateur compared to the very sleek
- 8:18Speaker 1: ones that I've been seeing because we were just going
- 8:20Speaker 1: to film something quickly in the car. I remember getting
- 8:22Speaker 1: the email being like, oh guys, just a reminder, you've
- 8:24Speaker 1: got to send yours through. And we were sitting at
- 8:25Speaker 1: a cafe with like, I literally had food on me
- 8:28Speaker 1: that my son had been eating. You guys were feeding
- 8:31Speaker 1: your baby's bottles and We were looking a little bit
- 8:34Speaker 1: disheveled and I was like, God, do we be really
- 8:36Speaker 1: real and film it from the table? So yeah, sorry,
- 8:38Speaker 1: we didn't get around to doing it. I want to
- 8:40Speaker 1: put it out there. I think that if we get
- 8:41Speaker 1: asked again, we need to do it next year, but
- 8:44Speaker 1: looking very professional. Now getting back to this story. So
- 8:47Speaker 1: it was in Life Uncut's Spotify rap video to their
- 8:50Speaker 1: audience that they teased Brit may be moving overseas. Let's
- 8:54Speaker 1: take a listen to what they said.
- 8:57Speaker 3: If you are watching this, it means that you are
- 8:58Speaker 3: one of our absolute top tier lifers.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You have listened to so many hours of Life Uncut
- 9:03Speaker 1: this year.
- 9:05Speaker 2: We had one of our biggest years yet.
- 9:07Speaker 1: We hit over 100 million downloads.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I finally got myself a husband and Laura had a baby.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Thank you so much for being the best. 2026 is
- 9:16Speaker 3: gearing up to be such an exciting year. There's going
- 9:18Speaker 3: to be some changes. For example, we might be saying
- 9:22Speaker 3: ciao a lot more.
- 9:23Speaker 1: We 100% are going to be saying ciao.
- 9:24Speaker 2: A lot more.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Happy Wrapped! Now, this video elicited a huge response from
- 9:30Speaker 1: the girls' Facebook community. One listener broke, eek, my Spotify
- 9:34Speaker 1: rap left me with a special message from the girls,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and they mentioned they'd be saying a lot of chow
- 9:39Speaker 1: in 2026. Is Brit moving? Please confirm. Now, it was
- 9:43Speaker 1: actually Laura Byrne, Brit's co-host, who jumped into the Facebook
- 9:46Speaker 1: group to give more details about Brit's move. She wrote,
- 9:49Speaker 1: Brit is going to spend more time recording from abroad
- 9:51Speaker 1: so she can be with Ben. Yeah, so it sounds
- 9:54Speaker 1: like Brit isn't leaving Sydney for good. but more so
- 9:57Speaker 1: that she'll be going back and forth, but be spending
- 10:00Speaker 1: extended periods of time in Italy. Brit did that when
- 10:03Speaker 1: she was dating that tennis player. Like she went on
- 10:05Speaker 1: tour with him and was recording remotely. It seemed like
- 10:08Speaker 1: a complete head fuck in terms of the actual logistics
- 10:10Speaker 1: of it because of time differences. I mean, they were
- 10:13Speaker 1: moving around. At least with Brit being in one spot,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you can kind of work out the time that suits.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I mean, Laura's just had a newborn. She's probably up
- 10:21Speaker 1: a lot of the time. Yeah. But I mean, the
- 10:23Speaker 1: added thing is that they film their podcast now. It's
- 10:26Speaker 1: more of a sleek production. That's going to make it
- 10:29Speaker 1: extra challenging. It's really interesting because Brit's husband, Ben, has
- 10:33Speaker 1: been living in Italy since the start of the year.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So he made the move from Romania to after being
- 10:38Speaker 1: signed as a goalkeeper for an Italian professional soccer club.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And their relationship is a really interesting one because they
- 10:44Speaker 1: first met on celebrity dating app Raya when Ben was
- 10:47Speaker 1: over in Australia playing in a tournament. And at the time,
- 10:50Speaker 1: Britt said she wasn't looking for anything serious because she
- 10:52Speaker 1: had just gotten out of a long distance relationship with
- 10:55Speaker 1: that tennis player, Kate, who you referenced, Jordan Thompson. And
- 10:58Speaker 1: she vowed that she was never going to do long
- 11:00Speaker 1: distance again, but they had this instant connection. So they
- 11:04Speaker 1: ended up catching up every single day that Ben was
- 11:06Speaker 1: in Australia. and quickly became official. And since then, they've
- 11:10Speaker 1: been doing long distance. This has been going on for
- 11:12Speaker 1: three years, even after they got married in Bali in
- 11:15Speaker 1: the middle of the year. Personally, I found it really
- 11:18Speaker 1: hard to get my head around the fact that they
- 11:19Speaker 1: were married and still doing long distance because I kind
- 11:22Speaker 1: of feel like when you're making a lifelong commitment, it
- 11:25Speaker 1: gets to the point where you go, okay, we're either
- 11:27Speaker 1: going to break up We're going to make this thing work.
- 11:30Speaker 1: So they've clearly gone, we're going to make things work.
- 11:32Speaker 1: But it was clear that they still hadn't decided where
- 11:34Speaker 1: they were going to live. And to make things more confusing,
- 11:37Speaker 1: on the night of their wedding, they actually purchased their
- 11:39Speaker 1: first home together. It seemed like a bit of a whim.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's a $ 2. 4 million, very aesthetically pleasing house on the
- 11:45Speaker 1: Gold Coast. They said that they must have been feeling
- 11:48Speaker 1: the good vibes from the night or had a few
- 11:50Speaker 1: too many cocktails when they purchased it. In the post
- 11:53Speaker 1: on Instagram, the couple wrote, we may be living on
- 11:55Speaker 1: opposite sides of the world, chasing our own dreams. but
- 11:58Speaker 1: we are working towards our future together. And that's the
- 12:01Speaker 1: most important thing. I mean, for those unaware, Britt lives
- 12:05Speaker 1: in Sydney. So it didn't make sense that they had
- 12:07Speaker 1: bought a house on the Gold Coast, particularly because the
- 12:10Speaker 1: podcast is what's been keeping Britt in Sydney from the get-go. Well,
- 12:13Speaker 1: she actually recently opened up on her own podcast saying
- 12:16Speaker 1: that she was set to move into the house on
- 12:18Speaker 1: the Gold Coast, but she decided against it after finding
- 12:21Speaker 1: out that their real estate agent had actually revealed their
- 12:24Speaker 1: address to a large number of people. So in a
- 12:27Speaker 1: bid to promote his business and himself. He ended up
- 12:29Speaker 1: calling heaps of people, telling them the address of the
- 12:32Speaker 1: home and sort of saying, oh, I sold them this house. Bizarre.
- 12:36Speaker 1: It is very bizarre. And she said that she felt
- 12:37Speaker 1: too unsafe to move in there alone. So that's why
- 12:40Speaker 1: they've actually opened up the house for people to have
- 12:42Speaker 1: photo shoots in. Well, does that mean that they won't
- 12:44Speaker 1: actually be moving in there? Because isn't that giving the
- 12:46Speaker 1: address to even more people? Well, yeah, exactly. And she's
- 12:49Speaker 1: also teased that she's going to be in Italy anyway.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's hard to get your head around. I mean, I
- 12:53Speaker 1: suppose it's reflective of the fact that they both don't
- 12:56Speaker 1: really know what they're doing, but I think it's a
- 12:57Speaker 1: very positive move that Brit is moving to Italy. The
- 13:00Speaker 1: whole time I was like, God, one of them just
- 13:02Speaker 1: needs to make the move. Well, that's the thing. As
- 13:04Speaker 1: an outsider looking in, it looked like neither of them
- 13:06Speaker 1: really wanted to compromise. I mean, Brit has a very
- 13:08Speaker 1: established career in Australia. She's on one of the top
- 13:12Speaker 1: podcasts in the country and they have been also hosting
- 13:15Speaker 1: a a daily radio show. Then there's Ben, who's got
- 13:17Speaker 1: this professional football career in Italy. The thing with professional
- 13:21Speaker 1: sport is that it's so cutthroat, like he could do
- 13:24Speaker 1: an injury and his career could be over. You know,
- 13:26Speaker 1: it doesn't have the longevity say of Brit's career. So
- 13:30Speaker 1: there is a timeline on that, but the issue is,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I suppose he's a little bit younger than Brit too.
- 13:34Speaker 1: What also makes it tough though, is him playing professional
- 13:37Speaker 1: sport you would have to have a lot of trust
- 13:39Speaker 1: in that relationship, particularly when you're going six months without
- 13:42Speaker 1: seeing each other.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I mean, not to say that that isn't an issue
- 13:45Speaker 1: at all in their relationship, but I mean, there is
- 13:48Speaker 1: that stigma around athletes. And I mean, he seems like
- 13:51Speaker 1: a completely amazing guy that wouldn't do that. They seem
- 13:54Speaker 1: beautiful together, but yeah, you would have to be very
- 13:56Speaker 1: trusting and have a very solid relationship to make it work. Now,
- 13:59Speaker 1: this potential move to Italy only seems to be possible
- 14:02Speaker 1: now that Brit and Laura are no longer hosting their
- 14:05Speaker 1: radio show, The 3pm Pickup. So they announced a couple
- 14:09Speaker 1: of weeks ago that they have parted ways with ARN,
- 14:12Speaker 1: who's their podcast network, and also who they're doing the
- 14:14Speaker 1: radio show through. They've been with ARN for the past
- 14:17Speaker 1: six years. So this was pretty big in the podcast
- 14:19Speaker 1: world for them to leave. I think it's important for
- 14:21Speaker 1: us to point out for full transparency before we dive
- 14:24Speaker 1: too much deeper into this section of the chat that
- 14:26Speaker 1: we are also signed with ARN. Similar to Life Uncut,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we still run our show independently, but ARN secures us
- 14:33Speaker 1: ad partners. Yeah, and it was quite interesting because Laura
- 14:37Speaker 1: seemed to throw a bit of a swipe at ARN.
- 14:39Speaker 1: So she jumped into the Life Uncut Facebook group to
- 14:43Speaker 1: clear up about Britt's move. And she also touched on
- 14:46Speaker 1: the duo's move from ARN. So she wrote, hi loves,
- 14:49Speaker 1: just to clear up the chatter, we are employed by
- 14:51Speaker 1: ARN for the radio show, which isn't continuing next year.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Britt is going to spend more time recording from abroad
- 14:58Speaker 1: so she can be with Ben. And I wanted more
- 15:00Speaker 1: time with the kids, which wasn't something ARN could offer.
- 15:04Speaker 1: We are moving to SCA and although we own our
- 15:06Speaker 1: own podcast and independently create and produce it, SCA will
- 15:10Speaker 1: support us by helping us to sell our ad space
- 15:13Speaker 1: in brackets just like ARN has to date. That way
- 15:16Speaker 1: we can focus on what we do best, content rather
- 15:19Speaker 1: than sales. Nothing changes about the podcast. We are just
- 15:22Speaker 1: so stoked we get to go into 2026 with more
- 15:25Speaker 1: life balance. I mean, I don't know if I'd say
- 15:28Speaker 1: it's a swipe at ARN. But she's essentially saying that
- 15:31Speaker 1: ARN didn't provide them the work-life balance that they wanted.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I mean, again, I want to put it out there,
- 15:35Speaker 1: even though we're a part of the ARN network, we
- 15:37Speaker 1: have no idea about the ins and outs of the
- 15:39Speaker 1: deals of other podcasts. This is our own pure speculation,
- 15:42Speaker 1: but it is interesting. I would have thought that if
- 15:45Speaker 1: ARN wanted to keep Life Uncut, they would have just said, oh, okay,
- 15:48Speaker 1: don't worry about the show. Maybe it's just an excuse
- 15:51Speaker 1: that Laura is providing as to why they've moved to
- 15:53Speaker 1: ARN's competitor. I mean, if anything, you think the benefit
- 15:56Speaker 1: of having your own radio show would be one to stay.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Whereas they're kind of making it sound like ARN said
- 16:03Speaker 1: you either do both or you do nothing, which I
- 16:05Speaker 1: don't actually think would have been the case at all.
- 16:07Speaker 1: The one thing this really shows me is that a
- 16:09Speaker 1: lot of influencers appear to be turning their back on
- 16:11Speaker 1: these radio gigs. We saw Abby Chatfield quit her radio show.
- 16:17Speaker 1: And I think a lot of influencers know that they
- 16:19Speaker 1: have more power in their own platforms than the mainstream
- 16:22Speaker 1: media does these days. And they think to themselves, well,
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'd rather have this work-life balance than be stuck doing
- 16:27Speaker 1: this gig every single day that I'm not particularly that
- 16:29Speaker 1: passionate about, which I think has upset a lot of
- 16:33Speaker 1: journalists who have worked their whole lives to be given
- 16:35Speaker 1: those opportunities. I mean, yeah, at the end of the day,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I think it just comes down to flexibility. With a
- 16:39Speaker 1: radio show, you have to show up every day at
- 16:41Speaker 1: a certain time And even though you get, I'm presuming,
- 16:45Speaker 1: a massive paycheck, sometimes it probably doesn't compete with what
- 16:48Speaker 1: you can get for a more flexible job that you're
- 16:50Speaker 1: not having to put in the hours. I also think
- 16:52Speaker 1: that it would be difficult for Laura and Britt to
- 16:55Speaker 1: continuously be coming up with content for a radio show
- 16:59Speaker 1: and all of the podcasts that they put out there.
- 17:02Speaker 4: If you haven't heard, my beautiful husband and I are divorcing, annulling.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I've got to iron out the details.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Not 100% sure how to do it. Veruca Salt has
- 17:11Speaker 1: announced she's getting a divorce 10 weeks after her shotgun
- 17:14Speaker 1: wedding in Vegas to a man she'd only met two
- 17:17Speaker 1: weeks prior. Now, the news came as no surprise to anyone.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Before we get into the marriage breakdown, Kate, can you
- 17:24Speaker 1: get listeners up to speed with a relationship timeline? So
- 17:28Speaker 1: Veruca met her husband on the 28th of September this year,
- 17:32Speaker 1: and they got married two weeks later on the 12th
- 17:34Speaker 1: of October. Until this weekend, he was only known online
- 17:38Speaker 1: by his social media handle DigiPremium. However, in a recent
- 17:42Speaker 1: TikTok video, Veruca revealed his real name is, drumroll, Donovan. Donovan,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I feel like Digi Premium has a better ring to it.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Someone actually messaged us saying, his name has been revealed,
- 17:55Speaker 1: but I can only think of him as Digi Premium. Now,
- 17:59Speaker 1: Veruca broke the news to her followers about the wedding
- 18:02Speaker 1: on the 2nd of November. The video went viral at
- 18:05Speaker 1: the time, clocking up 4.5 million views on TikTok. Now,
- 18:10Speaker 1: It didn't seem like they had wedded bliss for too
- 18:12Speaker 1: long because a week later, Donovan begged Veruca's followers via
- 18:16Speaker 1: his Instagram story to tell her to unblock him and
- 18:19Speaker 1: that he's sorry. Look, can we please refer to him
- 18:22Speaker 1: as Digi Premium because I just can't get the new
- 18:24Speaker 1: name and I feel like we're going to forget about
- 18:26Speaker 1: this guy soon anyway. He's going to be Digi to
- 18:28Speaker 1: me forever now. Okay, well, I'll... I'll refer to him
- 18:31Speaker 1: as Digi if that helps you.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yes, thank you.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Now, Veruca at the time hit back and accused Digi
- 18:37Speaker 1: of cheating before taking him back. She then shared a
- 18:40Speaker 1: video telling her fans to stop bullying him and that
- 18:43Speaker 1: he didn't cheat on her. Now that we are all
- 18:46Speaker 1: up to speed, let's dive into the breakup announcement. So
- 18:49Speaker 1: on the 4th of December, Veruca announced the breakup on
- 18:52Speaker 1: her Instagram stories. She also updated the caption on her
- 18:56Speaker 1: initial grid post about the wedding. So She poked fun
- 19:00Speaker 1: at herself, updating the caption to read, we broke up
- 19:03Speaker 1: before the Esther even finished, laughing my ass off. But
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'm hot, so I'm keeping the pics up. Now, for
- 19:09Speaker 1: those unfamiliar with the term Esther, it is basically a
- 19:12Speaker 1: 90-day US visa. They spoke a lot about on 90-day fiance.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I love that she's just keeping the pictures up because
- 19:20Speaker 1: she thinks they're hot, though. Like, what a call. It
- 19:22Speaker 1: sort of reminds me of when Olivia Rogers and Justin
- 19:24Speaker 1: McKeon got that shock divorce and Olivia shared the Olivia
- 19:28Speaker 1: edit of her video, of her wedding video, because they
- 19:32Speaker 1: got divorced or separated before they'd even got the official
- 19:36Speaker 1: video back. I mean, is that a blight on the
- 19:38Speaker 1: videography company or the marriage? Because, I mean, that's, you know,
- 19:41Speaker 1: eight months is a long time to wait for a
- 19:42Speaker 1: wedding video. Well, it is actually a South Australian company
- 19:45Speaker 1: called iDoCinema. I don't know. No, but they are renowned
- 19:48Speaker 1: for taking ages to get the videos back. Beautiful footage.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Because they're that popular, this videography company. They're a great one. Now,
- 19:55Speaker 1: after the breakup, she issued a statement and apologised to
- 19:58Speaker 1: her followers for, quote, uplifting a man that is a
- 20:01Speaker 1: compulsive liar and scammer. She also said she hoped her
- 20:05Speaker 1: followers could forgive her for being a stupid idiot.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Now, she went on to say that she would be
- 20:10Speaker 1: leaving LA and returning home to Australia. Interestingly, in the announcement,
- 20:15Speaker 1: Veruca made reference to her husband's t-shirt business. So that's
- 20:19Speaker 1: the one that she had recently started promoting to her followers. Now,
- 20:23Speaker 1: weeks earlier, she shared that she had been bedazzling some
- 20:26Speaker 1: of the lovely designs, which included slogans like chlamydia survivor.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Very tasteful. And she urged her followers to contact her
- 20:33Speaker 1: if they purchase anything from her husband's website so she
- 20:36Speaker 1: can personally refund them. Now, when these two got married,
- 20:40Speaker 1: we discussed how it seemed like it could potentially be
- 20:44Speaker 1: for content and for views. And quite a few of
- 20:47Speaker 1: Veruca's followers joked that they were holding out for the
- 20:50Speaker 1: long TikTok series that Veruca would ultimately share about the
- 20:53Speaker 1: demise of their relationship. Now, Veruca shut down the prospect
- 20:57Speaker 1: of spilling the tea in her initial statement, writing, I
- 21:01Speaker 1: told you guys Veruca's salt law never ends. I really
- 21:04Speaker 1: hope this doesn't get messy with back and forth posting
- 21:07Speaker 1: about each other and I want to make it clear
- 21:08Speaker 1: that there will be no I married a man I
- 21:10Speaker 1: didn't know part 47 unless he is posting about me first.
- 21:16Speaker 1: To me it seems like more of a threat than
- 21:18Speaker 1: a promise because she continued writing also to my husband
- 21:21Speaker 1: please don't post anything negative about me because once I
- 21:23Speaker 1: open my mouth about what you said about my son
- 21:26Speaker 1: it'll be over and we both know that's just the
- 21:28Speaker 1: tip of the iceberg. Now, it only took 24 hours
- 21:33Speaker 1: for Veruca to renege on her plan. So she ended
- 21:37Speaker 1: up posting seven very damning Instagram stories about her husband's
- 21:41Speaker 1: alleged behavior. The posts were swiftly deleted, but not before
- 21:44Speaker 1: being screenshot and shared around the internet. So in the
- 21:48Speaker 1: deleted Instagram stories, Veruca painted a very disturbing image of
- 21:52Speaker 1: the marriage. She explained that she had been planning her, quote,
- 21:55Speaker 1: escape for a while and had announced her breakup publicly
- 21:59Speaker 1: so she didn't have the option to change her mind again.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Within the lengthy post, she also alleged that her husband
- 22:05Speaker 1: sexually assaulted her, was violent and cheated on her. Now,
- 22:09Speaker 1: I want to reiterate at this stage, these are unfounded
- 22:11Speaker 1: allegations and her husband is yet to speak on them.
- 22:15Speaker 1: They are some very disturbing allegations. Now, Veruca also opened
- 22:19Speaker 1: up about her husband's financial situation, which was a hot
- 22:22Speaker 1: topic of discussion when they first announced their marriage. So
- 22:26Speaker 1: a comment began trending on Veruca's page that said, nobody
- 22:30Speaker 1: falls in love faster than a man with no place
- 22:32Speaker 1: to stay, which I do agree with that sentiment there.
- 22:36Speaker 1: At the time, Veruca hit back saying she was the
- 22:39Speaker 1: one using her husband because she was staying at his house. However,
- 22:43Speaker 1: the reality was that Veruca was actually paying her husband's rent.
- 22:47Speaker 1: In fact, Veruca alleges that her husband didn't have a
- 22:50Speaker 1: bank account when she met him as he gave it
- 22:53Speaker 1: to a scammer to get $ 10, 000. Now it gets worse.
- 22:56Speaker 1: She alleged that he barely works and he does one
- 22:59Speaker 1: shift a fortnight as a waiter at a seafood restaurant
- 23:02Speaker 1: called Bappa Gump Shrimp. Only in America. America also alleged
- 23:08Speaker 1: using women he was dating for financial support was a
- 23:10Speaker 1: theme in her husband's past. She also used these Instagram
- 23:15Speaker 1: stories to out some of her own bad behavior. I'm
- 23:18Speaker 1: assuming this is in a bid to get in before
- 23:20Speaker 1: Digi shares any receipts. So she ended up sharing a
- 23:23Speaker 1: text message that her husband sent her accusing her of
- 23:26Speaker 1: having sex with a famous rapper. Now, she didn't name
- 23:30Speaker 1: this rapper, but a fun fact, it's actually Digi's favorite rapper.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm presuming it's the same rapper that flew her out
- 23:37Speaker 1: to the U.S. a couple of months ago. Now, Veruca
- 23:40Speaker 1: was very honest. She said that, yes, she did go
- 23:43Speaker 1: to the rapper's house and it was her only violation
- 23:45Speaker 1: of the marriage, but conceded she didn't feel bad about it.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And she said it was the only thing that made
- 23:49Speaker 1: her husband take their marriage seriously. Now, despite originally saying
- 23:53Speaker 1: that she wasn't going to share what Digi said about
- 23:56Speaker 1: her late son, Cash, who tragically passed away from SIDS
- 23:59Speaker 1: last year, she didn't hold back on her Instagram story. Now,
- 24:03Speaker 1: out of respect for Veruca and Cash, we're not going
- 24:06Speaker 1: to be going into the abhorrent things that Digi allegedly
- 24:09Speaker 1: said about him because I just don't want to give
- 24:12Speaker 1: that oxygen and I just find it too unsettling and upsetting.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I found it very disturbing. Now, in terms of these
- 24:17Speaker 1: Instagram stories, Veruca ended with, maybe it's time for a
- 24:20Speaker 1: YouTube video. He has drained the joy out of me
- 24:23Speaker 1: for the past two and a half months. Now, we
- 24:26Speaker 1: haven't got a YouTube video as of yet, but over
- 24:28Speaker 1: the weekend, Veruca shared more details about her toxic marriage.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So she alleged the physical and emotional abuse that she
- 24:35Speaker 1: experienced started the night of the wedding. And she spoke
- 24:39Speaker 1: about how she had lost a lot of weight because
- 24:42Speaker 1: she hadn't been eating after her husband called her fat.
- 24:45Speaker 1: She also called out his family saying that they enabled
- 24:48Speaker 1: his abuse. Now, she also went into details about the
- 24:52Speaker 1: fight that ultimately led to their breakup. So She claims
- 24:55Speaker 1: that Digi asked her for $ 2, 000 to go on a
- 24:58Speaker 1: trip to Miami. And when she said no, he exploded
- 25:01Speaker 1: with rage. So during that argument, Veruca said that she
- 25:04Speaker 1: poured her Starbucks over his suitcase of clothes, but conceded
- 25:08Speaker 1: she was the one who bought them for him. So
- 25:11Speaker 1: that she, sorry, it's just cracking me up. So she
- 25:14Speaker 1: had every right to do so. I know this is
- 25:16Speaker 1: a very serious matter because it does involve alleged domestic violence,
- 25:20Speaker 1: but I just love how she's like, well, yeah, I
- 25:22Speaker 1: poured my Starbucks all over his clothes because I bought
- 25:24Speaker 1: them for him. Now from there, Veruca alleges that Digi
- 25:28Speaker 1: got physically abusive and stole her shoes and camera before
- 25:31Speaker 1: leaving the apartment. Now Veruca was very quick thinking. So
- 25:35Speaker 1: while she was at the apartment by herself, she ended
- 25:37Speaker 1: up taking some of his stuff so she would get
- 25:39Speaker 1: her own possessions back. Let's take a listen to what
- 25:42Speaker 1: she had to say about it.
- 25:45Speaker 4: When he left and I started packing my stuff up
- 25:46Speaker 4: to get the fuck out of there, I realized my
- 25:49Speaker 4: dunks were gone and my $ 1, 500, actually $ 1, 800 Canon G7X
- 25:54Speaker 4: camera was also gone. Guess he's fucking sold it because
- 25:57Speaker 4: now he's pissed that I'm posting on the internet about him.
- 26:00Speaker 4: I've taken some of his stuff accidentally when I packed it. Oh, sorry,
- 26:03Speaker 4: accidentally packed it. your projector and your sublimation printer. Oh,
- 26:06Speaker 4: it seems I accidentally packed that. Come get it. He
- 26:09Speaker 4: will not deal with the fucking divorce with me. He's
- 26:12Speaker 4: driving me fucking mental. The only option right now for
- 26:15Speaker 4: me is to go back to Australia, which I'm trying
- 26:18Speaker 4: to fucking do, but I'm going to have to go
- 26:19Speaker 4: back there, wait 12 months of separation, file for divorce,
- 26:24Speaker 4: hire a fucking private investigator to find out where he's
- 26:26Speaker 4: at so I can serve him with fucking divorce papers.
- 26:30Speaker 4: When all he needs to do is show up here,
- 26:34Speaker 4: Give me my things. I'll give him his. We can
- 26:36Speaker 4: sign it, take it to court, file it, and it
- 26:38Speaker 4: will be done in 30 fucking seconds.
- 26:40Speaker 1: No!
- 26:41Speaker 4: He wants to make it hard as fuck and his
- 26:43Speaker 4: family wants to, like, be included in the fucking blackmailing
- 26:47Speaker 4: and being a bitch to me.
- 26:48Speaker 1: All I can think of that this is wild that
- 26:52Speaker 1: this is a two-and-a-half-month relationship. This is going to be ongoing, though,
- 26:56Speaker 1: for the next year, as she said, because it doesn't
- 26:58Speaker 1: seem like he's going to play ball.
- 27:00Speaker 2: No.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I mean, this is an evolving story, and I'm sure
- 27:02Speaker 1: it's not the last we will hear about it. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: think the 47-part series will be coming on TikTok.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I was actually going to ask you guys for your
- 27:10Speaker 2: opinion on something, but I've already made up my mind,
- 27:12Speaker 2: so I may as well just tell you because I
- 27:13Speaker 2: don't need your opinion. I just want to let you
- 27:15Speaker 2: know what I'm doing as a mother.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Indy Clinton has divided the internet by announcing she's officially
- 27:22Speaker 1: changing her daughter's birthday. The TikToker's youngest daughter, Sol, is
- 27:26Speaker 1: set to turn two on the 18th of December. However,
- 27:30Speaker 1: it will now officially be celebrated on the 12th moving
- 27:33Speaker 1: forward to avoid the Christmas chaos. Kate, can you tell
- 27:37Speaker 1: us more? So in a TikTok that has notched up
- 27:40Speaker 1: over 2.1 million views, Indie explained her reasons. Let's take
- 27:44Speaker 1: a listen.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Made me think, why don't more people do this? Because
- 27:48Speaker 2: I actually can't genuinely think of any reasons why this
- 27:51Speaker 2: would be a bad thing. My third child, Solina. Devil.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Devil.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Devil. Soul.
- 27:56Speaker 2: That one, the third born, have decided to change her
- 27:58Speaker 2: birthday to the 12th of December. Yeah. She was actually
- 28:00Speaker 2: just too close to Christmas for my liking. And I just,
- 28:02Speaker 2: I just thought going forward, she's never going to know
- 28:05Speaker 2: we have officially changed it.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Now, Indy finished up saying that she knew her daughter
- 28:10Speaker 1: would thank her in years to come for ensuring that
- 28:12Speaker 1: she got attention on her birthday. As you can imagine,
- 28:16Speaker 1: Indy's decision has divided opinions online. What did you think
- 28:19Speaker 1: about it? Oh, I felt a bit weird about it.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I mean, is this for real? Like, is it just
- 28:24Speaker 1: that they're going to be having a birthday party on
- 28:26Speaker 1: the 12th or are they actually telling her, hey, this
- 28:28Speaker 1: is your birthday and we're going to legally change? I mean,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I don't think you can actually legally change your birthday,
- 28:33Speaker 1: can you? No, you can't. So there's going to be
- 28:34Speaker 1: a point of time where Sol finds out, actually, my
- 28:36Speaker 1: birthday is six days later than I think it is.
- 28:40Speaker 1: In terms of moving it forward by six days, I
- 28:43Speaker 1: was surprised. I'm like, I would have done it earlier. Like,
- 28:45Speaker 1: you know, maybe in the 1st of December or even
- 28:49Speaker 1: later in November, because by the 12th, we're already full
- 28:53Speaker 1: swing into Christmas. Like my husband's birthday is the 14th
- 28:56Speaker 1: of December. And it's funny because he's someone who dislikes
- 28:59Speaker 1: both his birthday and Christmas. And I've always wondered if
- 29:02Speaker 1: it's because both of them are so close together. You
- 29:04Speaker 1: think you'd like it though. I mean, look at Taylor Swift,
- 29:07Speaker 1: her birthday's on the 13th of December and she loves Christmas. Yeah.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I mean, I think that maybe it's in her blood.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I mean, she did grow up on a Christmas tree farm. Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 1: I want to know from our listeners who's born in December.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Does it make you like December more or less? Well,
- 29:20Speaker 1: I think it's hard on the people like the wives
- 29:23Speaker 1: and the parents of the people with the December birthdays
- 29:26Speaker 1: because for me, I've got to organize a gift for
- 29:29Speaker 1: Christmas and December. I don't want to be an asshole
- 29:31Speaker 1: and get him a combined present because I think that's cruel.
- 29:34Speaker 1: A lot of December babies complain about that. You know
- 29:36Speaker 1: what though? I actually feel like if Sol's birthday fell
- 29:40Speaker 1: on a 20th, like a 20th or 21st, whatever, that
- 29:43Speaker 1: is very, very close to December. But I feel like
- 29:46Speaker 1: 18th is not as bad. I mean, my ex-boyfriend's mom's
- 29:48Speaker 1: birthday was Christmas day. That's when I feel like you
- 29:51Speaker 1: probably have the right to change it. But 18th of December,
- 29:54Speaker 1: you've still got, you know, a week and a bit. Well,
- 29:57Speaker 1: it's not, it's a week. Like seven days. Oh, it
- 30:00Speaker 1: is exactly seven days. My maths is very bad. But still,
- 30:02Speaker 1: it's a week. It's a week before Christmas. Why don't
- 30:04Speaker 1: you just hold the birthday party a week before but
- 30:06Speaker 1: then just do something still to celebrate them on the 18th? Well,
- 30:09Speaker 1: Jessie Stephens from Mamma Mia, she's very passionate on this topic.
- 30:13Speaker 1: So her birthday is on the 20th of December. So
- 30:16Speaker 1: she shares it with her twin sister, Claire. To make
- 30:19Speaker 1: matters worse, Claire had a baby the same day. So
- 30:22Speaker 1: they now share it with her. That's even worse than
- 30:25Speaker 1: our situation because for people who can't remember– My son
- 30:30Speaker 1: was born a day before Kate's son. And it was
- 30:32Speaker 1: a whole year difference. But I was scheduled to have
- 30:35Speaker 1: a C-section on Jack's birthday.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And I actually rang them up and said, could you
- 30:40Speaker 1: please change this? Like our sons are going to have
- 30:42Speaker 1: the same birthday. Now they didn't care. They weren't fazed
- 30:45Speaker 1: by it. They said, sorry, we can't do this. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: think you meant the babies didn't care.
- 30:48Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 30:49Speaker 1: The medical staff did not care. And they were like, no,
- 30:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, we can't change this. A couple of days later,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I got a random call being like, we've moved you
- 30:55Speaker 1: forward a day. So it worked out all right. But yeah, well,
- 30:58Speaker 1: I was quite thrilled because Mamma Mia were also talking
- 31:00Speaker 1: about this topic and they mentioned that the ideal birthday
- 31:04Speaker 1: month is June and that is the month of our sons.
- 31:08Speaker 1: And originally I was feeling bad because I was like, oh,
- 31:11Speaker 1: June is shit. Like it's cold. You can't have your
- 31:13Speaker 1: birthday out at a park, you know. I don't really
- 31:16Speaker 1: like winter. We're March babies. So I actually think March
- 31:19Speaker 1: is a really good birthday month. Is June ideal because
- 31:21Speaker 1: it's six months before Christmas? Yeah. So you space out
- 31:24Speaker 1: the presents. You've got, you know, exactly six months between
- 31:28Speaker 1: you have a celebration in winter and a celebration in summer.
- 31:30Speaker 1: So you kind of like both of the months. And
- 31:32Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, that's good. Also. if they ever
- 31:36Speaker 1: wanted to travel abroad for their birthday, like, you know,
- 31:38Speaker 1: in Europe. Euro summer. Yeah, exactly. Well, back to Jessie Stevens.
- 31:42Speaker 1: She actually wrote a tongue-in-cheek article entitled People Born in
- 31:45Speaker 1: December Are Superior to Everyone Else, a Theory. And in
- 31:49Speaker 1: this article, she said that December babies are well-adjusted, resilient,
- 31:52Speaker 1: and have a healthy sense of self-loathing. She also explained
- 31:56Speaker 1: the painful reality of a December birthday, which includes no
- 31:59Speaker 1: one attending your birthday because Christmas festivities take priority. And
- 32:02Speaker 1: issues with having to wait all year for presents with
- 32:05Speaker 1: the potential of either getting a combined one or none
- 32:07Speaker 1: at all. She then spoke about one birthday that she
- 32:10Speaker 1: had where I think she was 15 and she woke
- 32:12Speaker 1: up and her mum hadn't got her a present. So
- 32:14Speaker 1: her mum rushed down to Westfield and bought her a
- 32:17Speaker 1: blender because she worked at Boost Juice and she said
- 32:19Speaker 1: she cried. I mean, poor Anne Stephens. I mean, she
- 32:22Speaker 1: has two sets of twins. Birthdays would be a big time.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I wonder if her theory about birthdays is also impacted
- 32:29Speaker 1: by the fact that she is a multiple and this
- 32:31Speaker 1: is a bit rogue, but I love watching Saffron Barker's
- 32:34Speaker 1: videos on Christmas Eve because her dad's birthday is Christmas
- 32:37Speaker 1: Eve and he always demands that his presents not be
- 32:41Speaker 1: wrapped in Christmas paper. Like he gets really upset if
- 32:43Speaker 1: his birthday present is in Christmas paper, but every year
- 32:47Speaker 1: she's always forgotten to get it. And isn't it like
- 32:49Speaker 1: he can only celebrate his birthday up until 12 o'clock
- 32:52Speaker 1: in the afternoon and then it's Christmas Eve for everyone else? Yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 1: pretty much because Their mum, Wendy, does these Christmas Eve
- 32:59Speaker 1: boxes for all of them and they do big Christmas
- 33:01Speaker 1: Eve night celebrations. See, in that instance, I am all
- 33:04Speaker 1: for moving your birthday the month before or even the
- 33:07Speaker 1: day before, like Christmas Eve, because for a lot of
- 33:10Speaker 1: people in the UK, when Europe in general. Yeah, Christmas
- 33:15Speaker 1: is celebrated on Christmas Eve. I'd love to hear our listeners' thoughts.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Let's put up a thread in our Facebook community. Please,
- 33:22Speaker 1: December baby's way in there. Well, that is all we've
- 33:25Speaker 1: got time for today. If you do want to hear
- 33:27Speaker 1: more content from us, we drop a subscriber-only episode every Thursday,
- 33:30Speaker 1: which is basically an extension of this show where we
- 33:33Speaker 1: chat about influencers. There is so much going on in
- 33:36Speaker 1: the influencer world this week that that's going to be
- 33:38Speaker 1: a big episode as well. There's so much we could
- 33:40Speaker 1: talk about. I love that it's hit December and influencers
- 33:43Speaker 1: are on. all over it. Like they're just sharing so
- 33:45Speaker 1: much more. And this is even with Tammy away filming
- 33:48Speaker 1: a shark show. Oh yeah. I feel like we haven't
- 33:50Speaker 1: had it. It's quite rare for us not to have
- 33:51Speaker 1: an episode, including Tammy Hember or Matt Zukowski. I think
- 33:54Speaker 1: some people will be celebrating. And there are some listeners
- 33:56Speaker 1: I'm sure rejoicing. Let's wrap things up. This podcast was
- 33:59Speaker 1: recorded on the traditional land of the Kaurna people of
- 34:01Speaker 1: the Adelaide Plains. We pay respect to elders past and present.
