- 6:22[SPEAKER_03]: The hotline with Jeff Graham is here on another gorgeous September day.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: uh... temperatures up in the seventies sun is shining and uh... going to continue that way right on through the week might be a little rain on a weekend here and there but uh... generally this is been wonderful leaps summer weather so hope you've enjoyed it and uh... if you didn't tough well not like congratulations have to go out to uh... newlyweds Oliver north and fawn hall recently married in arlington virginia
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: 81-year-old North was, of course, the National Security Advisor under Reagan, the Iran Contra thing, the testimony that riveted the nation and his fetching secretary of 15 years on Goose.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: Now, 66-Fawn Hall.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_03]: Apparently, Colonel North, his wife died recently after 56 years, and then she hooked up with her at the funeral.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_03]: It should go to funerals for, and yeah.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: So, Fawn Hall, I saw a picture of her, she looks great, she looks great, you know, there was always something about a woman named Fawn, which is the, I don't know, there aren't too many women in life you meet who are named Fawn, well, let's see what else is going on, the weather was good, oh yeah, get the gear brand appearance, Shane gear brand went well, yes, I thought
- 7:52[SPEAKER_03]: over the past week have done well here on the hotline, they presented themselves well as did I and hopefully it helps you in making a choice.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to do anything more with the race myself because I'm not going to do.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_03]: But I think those interviews hopefully give you some meat on the bone or whatever.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_03]: And you don't miss to get a word of well.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_03]: And we say it.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_03]: He's an extra.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_03]: No, I mean, he texted me today to thank me for being on and he put up a Facebook post to thank me and saying, I'm actually enjoyed the hotline.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we enjoyed having you, sir, and you know, well, good manners are precious few of them in today's world.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_03]: So we appreciate that tomorrow's 9-11.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_03]: We've actually asked you that national grid thing, and I know some people are saying it's fake news, but all I know is out of the blue, I get this bill, a monthly bill, and I was paying the automatic withdrawal, so it wasn't like, oh, you didn't pay the bills, you know, none of that.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's 1363 dollars, way, way above what I would normally be paying.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_03]: The previous month was $577, this is for the bar.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: And so it's not going to go up there.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: Even always warm and August not that much.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I called and complained and they found they first up that they had doubled punched me.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: They said, and they said it was up to do with these new meters.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_03]: OK.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, they said we figured the bill and sent it to me which they did and it went down to $607.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_03]: From 1363 to 607.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: My tough luck, right?
- 9:48[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you fast forward a little bit.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I was, this was going, I got a call from a friend of mine.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_03]: He was a restaurant owner and I told her it beats everybody knows.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_03]: He said his most recent bill was $1,200 more than the month before.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_03]: And again, his place he was just about to say him every month.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's not any reason for that.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm thinking for myself, I said self, there might be some news here.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: I just tell John more, of course, but back in the days of Paul Fort, maybe you could get an answer out of the speech.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: But I, there's something, if the two of us got dinged like that, other commercial accounts may have as well.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, to think that only two people got dinged and they happen to be two people who know each other.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: I don't buy it, I don't believe in coincidences at that level.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_03]: So if you have a commercial account, especially, maybe there's an actual, but especially commercial, it's bad enough you get ripped with the 11% sale stacks, more than twice worth of residential debts, but they may be inflating the bill on you.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: So look at them, I warned the boss here, I said you better have your, whatever, what
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: Not accusing anybody of anything, but it's not fake news.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: It really happened.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_03]: And I haven't seen anything like that happen.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure wonder, you know, when they send you these beater bills for beater product, is any of it real?
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I was supposed to be, I read the paper this morning that it's good to see that the bad things happen to business on both sides of the imaginary line who's supposed to be a place open on out ourcroffine street.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: near the industrial park called a circle k convenience store and we're gonna have a Wendy's and some other place in it subshop of some kind and the town planning board says well we're gonna delay the of month because we don't know if we can issue a sewer permit really wouldn't have been something you're identified when these people
- 12:02[SPEAKER_03]: apparently the developers didn't know that.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_03]: They came to a planning board meeting Monday, night thinking they were getting approval so they could move ahead.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_03]: You see in government, it doesn't matter.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you can wait another month.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_03]: Government doesn't care.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: They're not on the clock, but businesses do.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_03]: You have contractors mobilized and things ready to go and investors
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: This will probably get done and might have to put it in a holding tank, but what did they think of that before?
- 12:36[SPEAKER_03]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, Mayor, how you doing today?
- 12:39[SPEAKER_03]: Good, what's up?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_08]: You there?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's going ahead.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, stuff, there's a, like, a pot hole loss that is in the United States.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_08]: National grid things that you're doing would kind of fall into that same line.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_08]: If it likes you going running to a pot hole with your car, the city, the nature of the city, any city, the municipality is only liable for us if it's already been reported and documented.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: Right, I'm aware of that.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: I was in the city for a while.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_08]: This, this is, I was reading a article on this this morning actually.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_08]: This is the same thing when national grits and you have reported it.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_08]: You need to make sure that it's put in the public, which you're doing right now, because now they have to examine everyone else's, and if they don't, then they're liable.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_08]: That's the way that works.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_08]: If they're allowed to make a mistake like that, but they have to find it on their own, not to be brought.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_08]: So the next person that brings this to the attention, then there's some big problems involved where they're going against like all types of... The doctrines on the different utilities are.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_08]: This is a company that really needs to be brought down.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_08]: doing things indiscriminately and just taking advantage of situations.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, certainly the public service commission is useless.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_08]: Well, overall what they're doing right now and they're allowed to is they're supplementing the data centers that are coming to you.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_08]: Looking for crypto as well as the AI data centers with the customers they currently have to build these new facilities.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_08]: And they shouldn't be allowed to do that in monopoly situation and everybody just has to speak up and has to be brought up and when an error like that is there, put that in send a letter to the times and put that in so it's in print and then the next person to say, hey, this has already been reported, so now you're going to be fine and everybody involved in mind on it and becomes public notice.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_08]: So I appreciate you, Mayor, and keep up the good work at 1240 W. A. H. E. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H
- 14:42[SPEAKER_03]: Alright, you didn't know if I'm, let's see, we've got, you know, somebody made a suggestion, somebody texted me this morning.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_03]: The horrible situation in Charlotte.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: Now, some people say, well, what's the big deal?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_03]: You're just picking on it because the guy was black or whatever.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think so.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think that was very disturbing.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: Very disturbing.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_03]: Some of you say, well, what happened?
- 15:12[SPEAKER_03]: Well, a young lady, 23-year-old, native of Ukraine.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_03]: You think this had made a more sympathetic by the media, but they weren't too sympathetic.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, she got on a light rail train in Charlotte, sat down, guy behind her stood up and were used to arm and just put a knife right in her neck and killed her.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_03]: And the heart bread, I didn't see the actual video,
- 15:42[SPEAKER_03]: clutching her her head and holding it and meanwhile she's bleeding to death and the scared look on her face and you know I know some people say well let's know a big deal that happens it's like in you know yeah well I don't know I mean it's kind of scary kind of outrageous now granted the media doesn't care about you know eight or ten people get killed in Chicago on a weekend so you know it's but still
- 16:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and now the guy that the Carlos something or other, yeah, well, I don't know if there's trying to set up a insanity defense, he told his sister, I guess, on a phone call yesterday that he thought this woman on the train was trying to read his mind and that the government had placed a chip in him or something, and he was crazy, and yeah, you just keep pushing that.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_03]: So I, what I was wondering is we had a suggestion from a caller,
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: We said, what is the angry man think of this?
- 16:45[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_03]: What is the angry man thinking about this incident?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: I imagine he feels strongly about it.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_03]: So I'd be a good one for the angry man to come out of, you know, huh?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: Then we got another message.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_03]: Did you see Jeff Cole in the nation's capital yesterday in front of the White House?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_03]: That's got to be a big thrill.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_03]: I watched him at five.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_03]: Is here a result of a place of that?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: Some of his camera management had told him, brush that back.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, that interview with Tom Homan, but they could interview him up here.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: But I just more prestigious down there.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_03]: Now somebody just texted in seven news could have saved a lot of money on gas and food without driving a DC for a cheesy interview with Tom home and people not from this area watching our news must think we're from a third world country so embarrassing hey don't be saying that yeah now of course home and like Jeff Cole they're both from a cartridge or west of whatever that's called okay so
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was nice, it looked nice.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's one of those things, it's like having somebody live at the county fair.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_03]: That becomes the lead because the anchor is at the county fair.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_03]: It isn't really the most important thing to happen that day, but it becomes the lead.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_03]: Same thing with this.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_03]: You get an interview in the White House for your anchor.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll come John Moore when Cole's gone at six o'clock.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'll come John Moore isn't filling in.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_03]: Now I like that.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_03]: Young lady they had filled in, but nobody knows it.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have John Moore fill in at six.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it's just me.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_03]: Um... So what else is going on, we also mentioned yesterday.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it's news or not, the 10 police cars that go home every night.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_03]: Be nice to know where they go to.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_03]: if they were to a house on a academy street or harris drivers up might say yeah but they're going to add them and all sorts of places now you know front millie she's been putting up a little stanker all of this happened when she was on the board i guess they got the current carment one that GMC u-kind of the superintendent doctor schmiggled is driving home she doesn't think he should be driving it
- 19:17[SPEAKER_03]: home.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if they either GMC, you can.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_03]: That's pretty fancy.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_03]: Those are up in the 1890,000 range and you can get even more than that.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if he's as a denality version or not.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, I was always like, when I come to work here, I drive my car to work.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_03]: When I was mayor from what's a city hall, I drove my car.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_03]: Now, if I was going to Albany or something and use the city vehicle or put it in for my lunch, that's one thing.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_03]: But you certainly, if you were, you know, mayor and you had to, you were at city hall and you had to go over and check out one of the pools or something.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to have a city vehicle for that.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think I'm making 200,000 the year in a town where people are poor and using shopping carts to get around.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure he needs a brand new GMC U-Cot.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_03]: Apparently he has a Subaru, that should be sufficient.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_03]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you've got to turn down your radio if you're going to call, okay?
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: Are you there?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_10]: get on.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_10]: So, check this out.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_10]: I'm at, I won't mention the name of the restaurant, but I'm at a fast food restaurant.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_10]: With my friend, we're having coffee in the morning.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_10]: And this guy comes in and he's got about eight different water containers, some are little bottles, some are like two ounce containers.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_10]: And he's going over to the suffering machine, he's putting ice in him and filling him up and he's going back to his backpack.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_10]: Like
- 21:12[SPEAKER_10]: And he looked like he possibly could be homeless, but I didn't know for sure.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_10]: So I went over to the floor manager and I said, hey, did you know that this guy was filling all his water bottles up and she goes, oh, thank you for letting us know.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_10]: So the day after I went back and talked to the store manager and they said, yeah, he comes in here all the time, just what every day.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_10]: I said, well, why don't you call the police?
- 21:39[SPEAKER_10]: They won't come.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_10]: I said, what do you mean they won't come?
- 21:42[SPEAKER_10]: she goes there's nothing they can do because of the no bail they arrest him he's homeless there's no place to send his court appearance and all they do is keep releasing them so it's just like this thing and that you mentioned on the train he was what 14 times some of those were felonies but we've got to write here in water town it's as you're going into a store or food store like a you know fast food doing what you want and the police won't even come any
- 22:12[SPEAKER_10]: is because if they arrest them, nothing happens.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know what you're the rest of them for, if you're allowed them to get the water, I mean, that happened actually to me the other day.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody wanted water, and it was somebody who was real fidgety.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously on something, I just get them the water, get them out of here.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_03]: It was my view.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_10]: This isn't water, though, Jeff.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_10]: This was the soft drink.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, it was at their little kiosk.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_10]: He was filling up probably eight or nine containers.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_10]: of soft drink.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I see.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_10]: You went over to the napkins and took six inches high worth of napkins and put those in his backpack.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he's got to his right, say yes.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, he's got his right.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_10]: What have we come to?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_10]: There's no bail.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_10]: Everybody gets out multiple infractions, nothing.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_10]: So I asked her.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_10]: I said, well, why do the police not come?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_10]: And like I said, because they know nothing will happen to them.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_10]: So, the homeless or whoever's while breaking knows that nothing's going to happen to them because of the way the state's run, this note bail, there's no consequences.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_10]: So, of course, they're going to come in and take all the shopping.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_10]: And I would imagine, like some of the other retail stores, you can't stop them because of the liability issues.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's kind of like shopping.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_10]: Here are shoplifting.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you're a Democrat guy, get on the phone and say, you know, that's fair that they rip off stores because,
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: Well, those corporate people are pretty rich anyway.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, corporations, they're rich.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: Well, listen, isn't that true, like a big back store, like a home depot, or if you go in and shop lift, they're not supposed to like tackle here or anything?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I'm aren't too.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah, it's actually low.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know about home depot.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_10]: Lowes has that friend of mine worked there.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_10]: You're not allowed to stop them now.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_10]: At Walmart, I know that they will call the police and they'll review the footage.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_10]: but you physically cannot go out and restrain somebody and call the police away for them to come.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_10]: Well, Walmart, they have the person by the door.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I suppose that makes you think a little bit before you walk off of the shot.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: Now, in this case of the young lady in Charlotte, who now granted this thing happened right out of the blue.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_03]: There was no argument or words spoken or anything that would lead you believe.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, I can see where people were caught way off guard, but including
- 24:38[SPEAKER_03]: It reminds me of the Mr. Penny there on the subway who the guy was going not threatening people could have been could have had the same with somebody could have got stabbed in that.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_03]: But he he restrained him of the neckhold and unfortunately the gentleman died and he was charged.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_03]: He got finally acquitted but his life was ruined and those people on that train and Charlotte.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they had time enough to really even process what was going on, but you know, they would have probably had the same thing.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_03]: Who wants you to get involved in this?
- 25:15[SPEAKER_10]: But what is our, what is our, what is our justice system come to, where there's no rep, you just do what you want unless you get a colony and then you might get bail, I guess.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_03]: Well, look at this guy was 14, at least 14 mug shots I saw, maybe more.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_10]: and then keep getting, we've got to get these Democrats out of our, out, out of our positions of authority, just ruining this state.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_10]: All right, jump, thanks a lot.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: By now.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that may be, but, you know, you got to look at your judges and your DAs.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_03]: What do they do?
- 25:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, it's easy to say, well, the courts won't do anything.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not going to do anything, but, you know,
- 26:04[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, so does that mean the police can just say the heck with it?
- 26:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to do anything either.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_03]: But you look at that young lady who was killed in Charlotte, you say, well, we don't have trains here.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_03]: Well, no, we don't.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_03]: Well, stipulate to that.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_03]: But we do have people on the street who are strange, or like the guy who walked into that fast food place, taking all the soda.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: Now, what if you confronted him as another customer, say, hey, this is a private business.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_03]: You shouldn't be doing that.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_03]: God knows what could happen.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_03]: This is why I said the other day.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, a lot of people, women would be reluctant to get on mass transit alone, which are walked down the Veterans Memorial Walkway tonight alone.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_03]: Would you?
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: There were a couple, at least one person killed there.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe two, I don't know.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_03]: And that was all nicely tamped down and covered up.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because they don't like to cover that stuff.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_03]: They're not of that, if it bleeds, it leads mentality at Channel 700 at the time, is there a heck?
- 27:12[SPEAKER_03]: There isn't much left of that anymore.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: So, I don't know.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: Is that a call coming in for us?
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we'll take a break.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be right back.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_18]: It's all you need to know.

- 30:54[SPEAKER_03]: They wrote, oh my god, how many?
- 30:58[SPEAKER_03]: 130, more than 131,000 tickets of varying kinds.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and that's special.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_03]: So they made people miserable and all of that.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not suggesting you should drive recklessly by any means, but I hate that scoreboard style on forsement.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_03]: And then like I said, the bum goes into a past food place and helps himself to the soda.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_03]: He asks, and they don't, yeah, we can't do anything about that.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_03]: Can't touch him.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_03]: How about that little poor person who had their concrete deer stolen from their front porch?

- 31:53[SPEAKER_03]: The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee, a task force.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_04]: Now, this doesn't just include state police, it includes a lot of other people too, well, I guess.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, well.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: One else where you're going on.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_04]: Nothing.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_04]: Now, let's see.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: Not a lot of other news, I mean, really.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_03]: I guess they're going to start using AI screening at the border to find high-risk travelers.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_04]: That's interesting.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_04]: Scan your all over.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_04]: Scan your all over.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_03]: And that's too much else going on in the news.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_03]: There's a governor over when arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_03]: must have been down at nine and there's someplace like that, you know.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_03]: And one too many.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_03]: The life-saver mayor there, rounded her up.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_03]: Ah.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_03]: One thing it was interesting this week is time, home and had a dust up with meca-brzinski and some other left-wing anchors.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_03]: He got right on CNN and see MSNBC.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_03]: And Channel 7, Channel 7's wasn't sort of MSNBC like in their criticism of,
- 33:31[SPEAKER_03]: the Trump administration.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, did you see those drones flying over Poland?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have World War Three or what are we going to have?
- 33:45[SPEAKER_03]: Sound serious?
- 33:47[SPEAKER_03]: You know, there's two wars, just not going to.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_03]: And then that whole thing with hitting cutter or guitar or whatever you want to call it.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if I think that's a good idea, but on the other hand,
- 33:58[SPEAKER_03]: Cachars been playing or cutter if you prefer, plays both sides against the middle anyway.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_03]: So, there's a Dexter woman had a 0.23 BAC, that's interesting.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_03]: Now, most women in Dexter are above 0.20 most of the time, I think.

- 38:10[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, Kamala Harris has her book coming out.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's in the process of coming out and drips and drabs CNN as a story that she says in the book in retrospect, it was reckless to allow the event president Biden to decide on whether to run for reelection.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_03]: She says,
- 38:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's Joe and Jill's decision.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_03]: We all said that like a mantra as if we've been hypnotized.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_03]: But then she goes on to say the stakes were simply too high.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_03]: This wasn't a choice that should have been left to an individual's ego and individuals ambition.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_03]: It should have been more than a personal decision.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but at the time, you were telling us he's sharp as a tack.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: And when that special prosecutor her came out and said he's a feeble old man or whatever, he said it was egregious and wrong and everything.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_03]: But now you're saying that you now Kamala Harris says she was hypnotized.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_03]: Well, isn't it a good thing she didn't get elected president if she was hypnotized?
- 39:12[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: It was a couple of of you who don't think so, but she says it in the new book, I mean, it's not me making it up.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: This hair is also says the Biden team was so committed to not helping her.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_03]: It ultimately came and his own and the country's expense.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_03]: In other words, she says that they didn't want her to move up.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_03]: So they continued to prop up with sleepy Joe.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, well, that's interesting.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: They have the long knives are out the Democratic Party.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody's blaming everybody.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: Now, well, how about my dummy?
- 40:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: And he thoughts on that?
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: There are water towns, not in New York, no, I know it is, but still.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_03]: Still.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what else have we got going on here?
- 40:23[SPEAKER_03]: Really isn't a lot of other net city council race, which what's going to happen in that race?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we have the candidates of probably nothing happens.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_03]: There'll be a perfunctory debate or two at the end.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: Most people will have decided by then.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: Most people won't go.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_03]: You know, overset little over 7,000 people voted in the presidential race in the city last year, but less than 3,000 more voters in this, which is too bad.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_03]: We'd like to see more people out and engaged.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you got four candidates.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_03]: I thought they did some interesting things.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know, something I wanted to, and I appreciate Mr. Garibrand's candor yesterday.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_03]: I appreciate a couple of things he said.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_03]: One is,
- 41:06[SPEAKER_03]: uh... change in those parking places on court street instead of a world of all of the planners i don't know and he said no change yeah and he also said put a cop back on the american corner which i didn't think you know he's so he's a youthful guy i didn't think he knew we remember the cop on the american corner and but you know what he also remember because during the break we're talking about council meetings and i said do you know what the cone of silences and he knew it was from get smart
- 41:35[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, got some things going on there.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_03]: Not real specific and possible cuts to the budget, but he also did say that he wanted to get in front of the budget process and not react to it.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you know, well, then there was Alaska's the other day talking about strong merit.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_03]: What I was going to suggest to him, because none of us up here really qualified even talk about it, because we haven't operated under that system.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: We know what goes on elsewhere.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_03]: We can read about it.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_03]: And I was reading the city charter from Platsburg last night.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_03]: See, I get a feel for how it works.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't see anything in there about a dictator.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: They actually have advise and consent.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_03]: The Council has to advise and consent on department had not, not like here, where it's just take what I, this is who it is and how about you think.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_03]: So I think Velasquez, he should make a trip up to
- 42:35[SPEAKER_03]: and see if he can get an appointment with my good friend or you know I haven't seen or talked from a year or so he was always a nice guy to me and that's a Clyde Rabadou.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_03]: Clyde Rabadou was the mayor of Platsburg for a time and then he moved to Serenac Lincoln was mayor for three terms air 12 years just got out of office soon back in 22 so he's you know he went to Clarkson
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: He would be, I know the media won't do it because they just don't do that stuff.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_03]: But Clyde Rabbit would be the go-to guy to talk about that form of government.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_03]: And I have no idea what he would say.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_03]: I never talked to him about that.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_03]: I've talked to him about other things over the years.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen him over the years, he was always a great guy.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, great guy.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_03]: Don't know if he listens to the hotline, but he should.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's got to be beautiful this time of year up in Serenac Lake.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe the Velasquez lad should go up there and have a chat with him.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_03]: My suggestion.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, same thing with the media.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_03]: They might want to be a good little John more thing.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_03]: Grab a camera and go up there and make a weekend of a John.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_03]: Make a weekend of it.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we've got, uh, uh, we had, uh, World Cup fight over whatever it is, soccer thing, I see that you are incoming mayor of New York City, thanks to, uh, government should regulate the prices to the accuracy.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm down here, thanks to a true expensive.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, really?
- 44:27[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that's something, isn't it?
- 44:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be nice when he's in charge.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe he can get rid of all, you know, how many driving New York just going across the GW bridge or the Throgs knack or the Lincoln or or a Holland tunnel, so, you know, they're tunnels, not bridges, obviously.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, they're so expensive.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_03]: And I wonder, he wants everything for free.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe he can get rid of all those tolls that'll make going into New York a lot easier.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to have those government run grocery stores, and he's going to have all sorts of things.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_03]: Really, all sorts of things.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's going to be a worker's paradise, but it's up to around, I don't know, how much is the Cuomo Bridge now?
- 45:23[SPEAKER_03]: All those bridges are up to $12, $15, I mean, it's not like two books to get across or something.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's expensive.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_03]: There was water with bridges and certain roads.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_03]: Why is this section of pavement more expensive to drive across than any other section?
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, why do you have to pay money to drive from all the need of Buffalo on an interstate?
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: But you don't have to pay anything to drive from water town to Binghamton on an interstate.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you know, I know the fancy pants were easing as well.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_03]: It was how they were funded.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: Now it was put together.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's the way it is.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_03]: And I get that.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_03]: I get that, but why do we need all these tolls?
- 46:05[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think we should have tolls.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_03]: Ugh.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: Well, not everybody likes our federal agents.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_03]: Crowd jeers at Border Patrol Vehicle with flattened tires leaving a Rochester neighborhood.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_03]: That would never happen up here, but, yeah, there's big cities.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_03]: Those mayors get them all riled up.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, everything like that.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody's going to get badly hurt sooner or later on, one side of the other.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_03]: If it's an agent that gets killed, it won't really be that newsworthy, but God forbid.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_03]: God forbid, somebody else.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people have been saying that if the racist had been reversed in that knife, in Charlotte, the news coverage would have been different.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: But it shouldn't be, I mean, life is precious, and something like that should be reported, I don't even matter who the victim is.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: And the same thing with an eight-year-old black trial that's killed and in a drive-by shooting, and a bullet goes through the house and South Chicago, that should be a big news too.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll grant you a white media, it doesn't like to cover that very much.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_03]: Most of media is white media in this country, it's even on the liberal networks.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_03]: 755-1240 are from number if you'd like to be on the air talk about anything under the sun and there's a lot of sun today a lot of it out there okay um somebody was also asking me once the best time to go up to the mountains the state division of tourism or something has an online foliage color trackers so you can go online and check that out good afternoon you're on the air yes sir thank you for taking
- 48:02[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you talk, there's a lot of talk about these guys with these electric bicycles and this and that.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_11]: Every time I drive to a water town, there's somebody running a red light.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_11]: One time I follow the tractor trailer, of course I was low as to close to a moonway, two to a. You know, that's almost an epidemic in that town.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_03]: What the electric bikes of the tractor trailer?
- 48:27[SPEAKER_11]: No, I'm talking about running a stupid red light.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know if it's an epidemic.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_03]: It happens and yeah, it can happen.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_11]: All right, uh, a lot of these are on purpose, too.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_11]: Well, that's my things to play.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_03]: That's your complaint of the day.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, thank you.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: You best.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: By now.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_03]: It will be back with more in a moment.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: You're listening to the hotline.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_03]: I know you.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm 1240.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_06]: just don't say it off and enough.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_06]: The news in talk authority, WATN, AM-1240.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, it's Nigel and Larry here at FX Perhonda.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_15]: I can't believe students are on their way to college already.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I can't believe how fast this summer flew by.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_15]: Hey Nigel, tell the truth, your first car back in school, it barely made into the parking lot, right?
- 49:19[SPEAKER_15]: It had character, and a whole new floor big enough to see the road, it's exactly why today students and parents need a Honda, no duct tape, no prayers, just reliable, safe, ready for any season drive.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_14]: Right, FX Capura Honda, you can grab a civic that sips gas and a core that looks sharp or a CRV that laughs at snow.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_15]: Because let's face it, college is stressful enough.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_15]: You shouldn't be worried if the car's gonna start in one day morning.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_14]: Or Thursday night, or Saturday when you're driving at home with a basket of laundry from mom.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_15]: So whether it's off the campus, back to school, or just gearing up for the next few seasons, stop at FX Capriara High.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_15]: Bradley Street and Watertown right off by 81.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_15]: Good luck to all the college students.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_15]: If you need a reliable car, come see Lab or Nigel down at FX Capriara High.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_22]: Northern New York mattress expresses big, free, adjustable base annual promotion is on, but hurry, hurry, here's how it works.

- 50:26[SPEAKER_22]: It's this great, great deal.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_22]: Now, you're probably wondering does that include the Smart Bed by Instinct Comfort?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_22]: Yes, it does.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_22]: That is the bed where you get 45 individual settings on each side from super soft to super firm.

- 51:06[SPEAKER_20]: Hi, this is Joy from Tackle Joy.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_20]: Once I hit the airways, the customers have been flooding in, being on the radio, reminded people of her out of Washington Street Tackle Joy.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_20]: It made me a believer in the radio stations at community broadcasters.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_20]: If you're thinking of advertising on the radio, do it and do it here.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_09]: Call 721240 to learn more about how community broadcasters can help you grow your business.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_09]: That's 721240 and get radio working for you.

- 52:05[SPEAKER_06]: The North Country spells news, AM-1240, W-A-T-N, Water-Tell, depend on it.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_03]: You're right now.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, is anybody been over to that porch light restaurant on Mill Street?
- 52:18[SPEAKER_03]: The old shoolers?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_03]: I guess they did a sneak preview over the weekend, a soft opening.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_03]: Got a big crowd there.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: Shoot through a lot of food.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_03]: And they're officially open now, and I don't know.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_03]: I just wonder if anybody better, I definitely want to get over there at some point in the near future.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_03]: But they have all sorts of good things.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's not going to be a picture of a couple of coffee, it even looks good.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_03]: So, if anybody's been there yet, give us a hoot, no holler.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_03]: And talk about it.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, like,
- 53:01[SPEAKER_03]: We like that kind of thing.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: I know it's a big deal on the north side, at least.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_03]: Between there and BJ's tavern grill there, millstreets just a great place to go out.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_03]: Already, any out of Stewart's store there, too.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: All right, 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_03]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the air today, six or seven minutes left on the show of shows.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see, what else is going on?
- 53:37[SPEAKER_03]: And if there's anyone out there now if they've listened to all four council candidates, if anyone changed their mind, maybe he'll vote it in the primary and if James or my ender, or someone who's now made up a mind because of the hotline appearances.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_03]: I thought they all did a nice job.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I thought I was fair with everybody.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, give us your view on him.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think?
- 54:04[SPEAKER_03]: Did any of them move the ball or is it just a static?
- 54:07[SPEAKER_03]: Because if it's status quo, then we know who's going to win.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_03]: We could just extrapolate the primary results into the final election.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_03]: That would be a Garrett brand, Monaco, followed by Osborne and Velázquez.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, obviously, the latter two have to do something to energize people.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_03]: Especially Velasquez, he's 250 votes out of second place.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's, that's a margin.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's, you know, he's gonna have to work on it.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody texted in Osborn and Garrett Brandt, they think you're gonna win.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_03]: That could be, there was the argument that Mr. Monaco maybe he got all the votes he was gonna get in the primary area that he's too old school.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_03]: On the other hand, a lot of people like his institutional knowledge.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: and he's a little more blunt.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_03]: Um.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_03]: So.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: I think it'll generally tighten up him on all four of them.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I'm not sure what two are going to win.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, obviously the easy answer is be to take the two that were ahead in the primary.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_03]: And it's.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_03]: You probably not going to go far wrong with that, but.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_03]: Ah, there could be some.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_03]: Changing in the order.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe not.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_03]: there's how many more people are going to vote seventeen eighteen hundred eighteen just around eighteen hundred voting a primary you might get another six or eight hundred in the general plus the people who voted for other candidates in the primary so not a lot of room there for changing things we'll find out find out just uh... how many weeks well look over at my calendar it's uh...
- 55:53[SPEAKER_03]: One, two, three, four, five, six, and nine weeks.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_03]: So we have nine weeks of campaigning.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of time to decide.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_03]: You'll have a couple debates in October, and there's a lot to do, you know.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_03]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_13]: Hi, Jeff.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_13]: Just a little reminder, you talk about that subway incident with the girl.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_13]: A quick week for get about the individual who got on the subway in New York here
- 56:23[SPEAKER_13]: until he was brought down by a guy trying to defend everybody in the fire mm-hmm guy wound up accidentally choking him out and he ended up on trial for manslaughter, yeah and he went to, yeah, for manslaughter trying to get involved and to protect people mm-hmm come back to fight him in the ass
- 56:45[SPEAKER_03]: So what would you, I mean, in the case of the Charlotte incident, I mean, there was no argument that broke out.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_03]: It just happened so quickly.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_03]: I can see where people were caught genuinely off guard and not knowing what the heck's going on next to me.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_03]: But, on the other hand, what would you have done if you became aware of that?
- 57:05[SPEAKER_03]: You personally.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_03]: well he was a quitted yeah now of course yeah as you know from being involved in criminal justice just because you're a quitted you still went through hell we have to be not a place in one of the yeah if you don't know what's going to happen in that crazy jurisdiction uh... but uh...
- 57:44[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_03]: So the state put out a press release, bragging, and how many tickets they wrote this past holiday?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_03]: Is that a should we be happy for them?
- 57:54[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think so, I don't think anybody's happy for them, but every ticket that they wrote is probably somebody who was a victim of the violation that they were doing.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody gets the speeding ticket, but they don't talk about the 10 or 12 people.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_13]: They got their doors blown in.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_13]: by this Yahoo, right, you know, you don't hear about that to people are victimized by what goes on on the road.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_13]: You don't hear from them.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but I'm talking about the tickets to somebody's doing, you know, they're not blowing anybody's doors in they're doing 70 eight miles an hour and on a bright sunny day and it's just a it's a quota thing at that point, isn't it?
- 58:38[SPEAKER_03]: Especially when the governor says I want tickets written this weekend.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_13]: There's no quota system.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_03]: You don't think so.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_13]: There's a comparison system.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_13]: You got two bartenders working in a bar.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_13]: And one sitting on our ass doing nothing.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_13]: The other one's hopping all over the place, serving drinks.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_13]: Aren't you going to chew the ass of the one that's not working?
- 58:59[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_13]: And that's what the troopers do in the stations.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_13]: That's what the administration does.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_13]: They find the guys who aren't working and chew their ass and say, hey look.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_13]: you're not holding up your part of the bargain here.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_13]: Every station is different.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_13]: There's some stations where there's a revylations, traffic violations are crazy.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_13]: Then there's other stations where it's extremely slow.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_13]: Not everybody's held at the same standard, but everybody's held to a similar standard within that station.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I have, unfortunately, I have to take off because we're out of time, but I appreciate your feeling of sin.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_07]: Have a good one.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_03]: All righty, um, okay, that's our show for today.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_03]: Who's going to be in at five days at Glenn?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_03]: Glenn will be in at five.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_03]: Glenn Curry with the live at five show.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_03]: You don't want to miss it.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll be back tomorrow with another hotline on the Thursday edition of the hotline.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_03]: You don't want to miss that either.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_03]: This has been the hotline on the Community Broadcaster station.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_03]: We are AM 1240 WATN.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_03]: Watertown, New York.
