- 0:50Speaker 2: We're going to end so much today, but I have
- 0:52Speaker 2: to tell you about this breaking juicy crime. Oh, Did
- 0:55Speaker 2: you know that I do Juicy Crimes every Wednesday? Please subscribe.
- 0:58Speaker 2: There's a link right below. Leave a five-star review. Spread
- 1:02Speaker 2: the word. We're doing it. It drops every Wednesday. This
- 1:05Speaker 2: is just happening, and I saw it yesterday, and there's
- 1:09Speaker 2: more news about it. There is a rapper named David,
- 1:12Speaker 2: but it's spelled D, the numeral four, David. The ID.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I don't know his music. He's currently on tour. And
- 1:21Speaker 2: they found a decomposing body of a person that they
- 1:26Speaker 2: now identified as a 15-year-old girl. They have her name.
- 1:31Speaker 2: She was 71 pounds. Now, I don't know if she
- 1:33Speaker 2: was 71 pounds. Decomposing body in a Tesla that is
- 1:37Speaker 2: registered to him. Okay. And it was like, you know...
- 1:42Speaker 2: it was at a spot for so long that it
- 1:45Speaker 2: was getting towed. And then the tow company was like,
- 1:47Speaker 2: this smells really bad. And so they, you know, called
- 1:51Speaker 2: the cops. They found the body in the trunk, I guess.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And now they say 71 pounds. I don't know if
- 1:57Speaker 2: that means it was 71 pounds because it's decomposing or
- 2:00Speaker 2: was she really a 15 year old that was actually
- 2:03Speaker 2: 71 pounds. So I first heard about this yesterday and
- 2:09Speaker 2: I'm like, We have Teslas and they have cameras in them.
- 2:13Speaker 2: So I'm like, you'll be able to see at least
- 2:16Speaker 2: the jeans or the pants of somebody that's putting this
- 2:20Speaker 2: body in the trunk on this day, whatever. And then
- 2:24Speaker 2: I was like, well, if I was this guy's defense attorney,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I'd be like, oh, I've, you know, being a rapper,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I have, you know, my boys and my entourage and
- 2:33Speaker 2: my cousin and like a lot of people have access
- 2:35Speaker 2: to my cars. Okay. That's what I thought it would be.
- 2:39Speaker 2: He TMZ just reported that he has a tattoo on
- 2:44Speaker 2: his inner finger that's shush, S-H-H-H, and so did the
- 2:50Speaker 2: 15-year-old girl. Matching tattoo of shush inside her finger. Why
- 2:56Speaker 2: does a grown man have a matching tattoo with a
- 3:01Speaker 2: woman who's 15, not a woman, sorry, a child who's 15? Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 2: What are you shushing about? And your body was found
- 3:09Speaker 2: in a car that was registered too. So when this hit,
- 3:12Speaker 2: as I'm driving over here, I'm like, they're like, but
- 3:15Speaker 2: David is cooperating with the police while he's on tour.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Why is he on tour? I'm like, stop it. So
- 3:23Speaker 2: now they did say the show tonight's been canceled. Oh, thanks.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Thanks for canceling. Thank God you canceled the show. What
- 3:30Speaker 2: the fuck?
- 3:32Speaker 3: No, I mean... Could it have been like something that
- 3:34Speaker 3: maybe happened and he told someone on his team, like,
- 3:37Speaker 3: take care of it. And this was their way of
- 3:39Speaker 3: taking it. But also, like, what a sloppy way. Like,
- 3:40Speaker 3: you're going to use a Tesla and then you're going
- 3:42Speaker 3: to leave the box. Like, it's just it feels like
- 3:44Speaker 3: there are too many. She's 15 is all I can say.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, very, very tragic. Does she have parents?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Was she listed as a missing person? Was this the
- 3:56Speaker 2: kind of situation that the parents thought it was going
- 3:58Speaker 2: to be like R. Kelly? Was she an aspiring singer? Horrible.
- 4:07Speaker 3: We have no details about who she is? I mean,
- 4:10Speaker 3: I guess she's a minor, so it's going to be concealed.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Really insane. So that is happening right now. And he's
- 4:18Speaker 2: how old? I would have to look up how old
- 4:21Speaker 2: he is, but he is an adult.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 2: He is not singing for the Disney Channel.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Horrible.

- 5:00Speaker 2: Okay, so now fill us in because I have just,
- 5:05Speaker 2: I just wait for you to come on and fill
- 5:06Speaker 2: us in because it's just so confusing with the newly
- 5:11Speaker 2: engaged Taylor. I know they wanted her to, they wanted
- 5:16Speaker 2: to depose her. Explain everything where we're at. I'm just
- 5:18Speaker 2: going to interject questions.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so we are... coming to the end of discovery,
- 5:23Speaker 3: which is all the evidence exchanging. So Blake's putting all
- 5:26Speaker 3: of her stuff on the table. He's putting all his
- 5:28Speaker 3: stuff on the table. And now they're all kind of
- 5:30Speaker 3: sorting through everything. And the next couple of months will
- 5:33Speaker 3: be them putting together their case before trial in March.
- 5:36Speaker 3: So it's presumed that at this point, Taylor's text messages
- 5:39Speaker 3: have been turned over, which is why it seems they
- 5:42Speaker 3: were trying to depose her. Now, The only date that
- 5:46Speaker 3: Taylor's team offered was at the end of October, but
- 5:49Speaker 3: discovery is supposed to be done and all depositions are
- 5:52Speaker 3: supposed to be done by the end of September. So
- 5:54Speaker 3: they were asking the judge for an extension. Who was asking?
- 5:58Speaker 2: Baldoni's team. Okay.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Yeah, because they wanted to depose Taylor and Taylor said, okay,
- 6:01Speaker 3: I'm only available the week of October 20th. Other than that, like,
- 6:04Speaker 3: I can't make anything happen sooner. So they were like, hey, judge,
- 6:07Speaker 3: she's available, but not until after the deadline can we
- 6:10Speaker 3: get an extension so that we can depose her. And
- 6:13Speaker 3: the judge said no. Because he's like, you had six
- 6:16Speaker 3: months to try and depose her and work out a schedule.
- 6:19Speaker 3: So it seems like the reason they were trying to
- 6:20Speaker 3: depose her now is probably because they got the text messages.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I mean, Perez Hilton, for what it's worth, take it
- 6:26Speaker 3: with a grain of salt. He says that he has
- 6:28Speaker 3: a close source that I believe may be Baldoni's publicity team.
- 6:34Speaker 3: But he says he has a close source that says
- 6:36Speaker 3: that they do have the text messages and that there
- 6:38Speaker 3: is something in those text messages that they believe to
- 6:40Speaker 3: be very incriminating to Blake Lively. So there's something, and
- 6:44Speaker 3: she was fighting to not have.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Just to make things clear, because I think it's gotten
- 6:48Speaker 2: so murky. And so who is suing who for what?
- 6:55Speaker 2: Because I know that the $ 400 million lawsuit that Baldoni
- 6:59Speaker 2: was countersuing Blake was dismissed. She asked for it to
- 7:05Speaker 2: be dismissed and it was. So where are we left
- 7:08Speaker 2: on what lawsuit? Blake is suing for what?
- 7:11Speaker 3: So Blake is suing Baldoni for a couple hundred mil
- 7:14Speaker 3: herself for harassment and retaliation.
- 7:18Speaker 2: So it's harassment on set or this is all post
- 7:21Speaker 2: the movie?
- 7:22Speaker 3: Harassment on set. Okay. She claims he harassed her. She
- 7:26Speaker 3: brought forth claims. He agreed to not retaliate against her.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And then he launched this retaliation campaign. Against her to
- 7:33Speaker 3: keep her silent is what she's claiming.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:36Speaker 3: And so now she has to actually prove that there
- 7:38Speaker 3: was harassment, that she brought forth the harassment. And then
- 7:40Speaker 3: she has to prove that they launched this smear campaign
- 7:44Speaker 3: in an attempt to retaliate against her for bringing forth
- 7:48Speaker 3: those harassment claims. And so that's the only lawsuit that's
- 7:51Speaker 3: active now because a lot of people are like, wait,
- 7:53Speaker 3: I thought it got dismissed. His case against her for
- 7:55Speaker 3: defamation got dismissed. Because everything that she all of the
- 8:00Speaker 3: statements that she made that he claimed were defamatory were
- 8:03Speaker 3: put in a legal document. And as long as it's
- 8:05Speaker 3: in a legal document, it can't you have litigation privilege.
- 8:08Speaker 3: So you can't be sued. for defamation because it's protected
- 8:12Speaker 3: speech if it's in a legal filing. Because then people
- 8:14Speaker 3: wouldn't sue people if they could get sued for defamation.
- 8:17Speaker 2: For making allegations. Yeah, I was sexually assaulted by this guy.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Then you'll never tell because they'll say, by you saying that,
- 8:23Speaker 2: you defamed me. Got it.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Right.
- 8:25Speaker 3: So his case is gone. So he's fighting her case
- 8:28Speaker 3: against him. So that is set to go to trial
- 8:30Speaker 3: in March.
- 8:32Speaker 2: And she's also asking that he... pay for her legal
- 8:36Speaker 2: fees in this lawsuit.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Her legal fees. And then in California specific with these
- 8:40Speaker 3: types of harassment cases, there's what, so she's asking for
- 8:43Speaker 3: her fees to be covered, punitive damages, which are, you know,
- 8:47Speaker 3: additional money that the judge would order to kind of
- 8:49Speaker 3: punish you for, you know, doing this action against somebody
- 8:53Speaker 3: else in a, in civil litigation. And then she's also
- 8:56Speaker 3: asking for treble damages, which is unique to sexual harassment cases,
- 9:00Speaker 3: specifically here in California. It's really big. And so treble
- 9:02Speaker 3: damages are, are three times, you're awarded three times the
- 9:06Speaker 3: amount that you won. So let's say he loses 100 mil,
- 9:10Speaker 3: she can then fight to have him pay 300 mil
- 9:13Speaker 3: as like more punitive damages to punish someone for bringing
- 9:17Speaker 3: forth false allegations of like defamation or trying to harm
- 9:21Speaker 3: somebody that's an accuser of sexual harassment.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Okay, you explained this very, very well. Okay, so now
- 9:28Speaker 2: we're just gonna talk prediction and speculation. What do you
- 9:34Speaker 2: think could be in those Taylor text messages to her bestie?
- 9:40Speaker 2: Supposedly she's a godmother, either officially or unofficially.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Not anymore.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if you're, you know, Christian or
- 9:46Speaker 2: Catholic or you really have a baptism where you have
- 9:48Speaker 2: someone stand on the altar. That's what a real godparent is.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Right.
- 9:51Speaker 2: But in Hollywood, a lot of people say, I'm the
- 9:52Speaker 2: godmother and it's not like a religious thing.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Supposed to be the godparent of one or some of them.
- 9:58Speaker 2: What do you think would be in there that would
- 10:02Speaker 2: be something that they got excited about and were like,
- 10:05Speaker 2: now we really need to dispose or to seal our
- 10:08Speaker 2: deal here?
- 10:10Speaker 3: Maybe text messages of her like praising him like, oh,
- 10:13Speaker 3: my God, I had a really good scene today. Or
- 10:15Speaker 3: maybe her like hinting that maybe she has a crush
- 10:18Speaker 3: on him. Like there's something that in the tone of
- 10:20Speaker 3: her text messages that appears that she had a positive
- 10:23Speaker 3: working experience with Baldoni. Because you also have to remember.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And the thing is, when he launched his timeline of
- 10:29Speaker 3: events and he put all the dates and the text
- 10:31Speaker 3: messages together of hers to him. He's like, she's claiming
- 10:34Speaker 3: she was harassed on this date. But then later that evening,
- 10:37Speaker 3: she was sending me these yummy text messages. So how
- 10:40Speaker 3: is it that I harassed her that morning? And then,
- 10:42Speaker 3: you know, later on, by the end of the day,
- 10:43Speaker 3: she's telling me that, you know, she's a ball buster
- 10:46Speaker 3: and she'll bust my balls, but never with teeth. Like,
- 10:48Speaker 3: it just doesn't add up if she was harassed by
- 10:51Speaker 3: him earlier in that day. And now she's, you know,
- 10:54Speaker 3: inferring fellatio.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but. If I'm playing the devil's advocate, you know,
- 11:00Speaker 2: there have been many cases, if you want to look
- 11:03Speaker 2: at like Weinstein or whatever, where the person is, you know,
- 11:09Speaker 2: the jury does decide that they were a victim. And
- 11:12Speaker 2: there were that, those instances after the assault where the
- 11:16Speaker 2: person's like, hey, you know, when do I see you again?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Or you were the greatest or whatever. And then it's like,
- 11:23Speaker 2: A psychological thing. However, she's not saying he was assaulting her.
- 11:28Speaker 2: She was just saying he was.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Harassing her. Yeah. He told her her outfit looked sexy
- 11:32Speaker 3: and he said that she smelled good. And those are
- 11:36Speaker 3: kind of.
- 11:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Oh, those are the things. Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 3: But then you see the context of it where like
- 11:40Speaker 3: she's like, he said that I smelled good. And then
- 11:43Speaker 3: they released the footage and it's her and they're in
- 11:45Speaker 3: a dancing montage. And at first in her initial complaint,
- 11:48Speaker 3: she said that there was no audio recorded. And then
- 11:50Speaker 3: he was like, surprise. Actually, I was wearing a mic.
- 11:53Speaker 3: hears all of the footage with the actual audio and
- 11:56Speaker 3: you hear her on mic say, oh, I'm sorry if
- 11:58Speaker 3: my spray tan smells, which I'm sure you know spray
- 12:02Speaker 3: tan smell. And when you hug people, you're like, sorry,
- 12:05Speaker 3: like they smell gross.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're not supposed to shower for like 24
- 12:08Speaker 2: hours and it's that weird smell.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And so he, I saw that's a classic. And then
- 12:13Speaker 2: he kind of, in my opinion, to put her at ease.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 3: He's like, no, it smells fine.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 3: It smells good.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:19Speaker 3: And she's like, oh, that's just my body makeup. Ha
- 12:21Speaker 3: ha ha. So it was just like a simple exchange,
- 12:24Speaker 3: but like it wasn't like a... because she wrote in
- 12:27Speaker 3: her complaint, he smelled me and told me I smelled good.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I mean, you're about to do like a close scene.
- 12:32Speaker 2: So like, yeah, I saw that and I did think, ooh,
- 12:35Speaker 2: you know, but it is interesting once something actually gets
- 12:39Speaker 2: in front of a judge.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And not the people that have been, you know, watching
- 12:45Speaker 2: people like you and everybody else really dissect it and
- 12:48Speaker 2: kind of, you know, it's not being right now tried
- 12:53Speaker 2: in the media. It's being tried in the actual court
- 12:55Speaker 2: with someone who's just looking and following the law to
- 12:58Speaker 2: the best of that judge's ability.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 2: And then, OK, so once this we get through the discovery, whatever,
- 13:06Speaker 2: then it goes to a jury in March.
- 13:09Speaker 3: So right now they have time to put their case together,
- 13:11Speaker 3: do any last minute filings that they need to do.
- 13:13Speaker 3: And then come March, it goes before a jury and
- 13:16Speaker 3: both sides present their case, you know, and then the
- 13:19Speaker 3: jury will ultimately make a decision in terms of whether
- 13:21Speaker 3: or not they believe that Blake was harassed and retaliated against.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Cause like, that's the thing. Harassment's one thing, but her
- 13:27Speaker 3: biggest thing and what she really seems to hone in
- 13:29Speaker 3: on is this retaliation campaign, which I mean is kind
- 13:34Speaker 3: of up in the air, but they have, she has
- 13:36Speaker 3: to be able to prove that the retaliate or that
- 13:38Speaker 3: the smear campaign was in retaliation for the sexual harassment.
- 13:42Speaker 3: So she has to connect those dots and that's going
- 13:44Speaker 3: to be really interesting to To see if she can
- 13:47Speaker 3: actually prove that.
- 13:49Speaker 2: The retaliation really being an online thing.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Through the press, using many different entities.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Basically, she's saying, and, you know, I was covering this
- 14:02Speaker 2: from the very beginning when she said her first complaint.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And I did think, being someone that's in this world, that, yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 2: I did notice all these weird TikToks and claims and
- 14:14Speaker 2: things about that she was a bitch on set and
- 14:16Speaker 2: did this and was rude to this makeup artist all
- 14:19Speaker 2: seemed to be popping up in my For You page
- 14:23Speaker 2: on TikTok.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Right.
- 14:24Speaker 2: After the movie had premiered and been out. And I
- 14:27Speaker 2: was just like, oh, like I was like, this is
- 14:30Speaker 2: kind of weird. So when it all came out, I
- 14:31Speaker 2: was like, now you were also somewhat mentioned in this case.
- 14:38Speaker 2: So let's talk about that. Yeah.
- 14:40Speaker 3: So I guess they were watching, you know, Justin Baldoni
- 14:42Speaker 3: and his team were watching everything that was playing out
- 14:45Speaker 3: online and they had their social media manager who would
- 14:47Speaker 3: give them updates. And so one of them in their
- 14:49Speaker 3: group texts was sending my videos and they're like, oh,
- 14:52Speaker 3: love me some Zack Peter. So I think they liked
- 14:54Speaker 3: that I was at the very beginning. Listen, I'll say
- 14:57Speaker 3: exactly how I feel, whether I think it's going to
- 14:59Speaker 3: be a popular opinion or not. And I was one
- 15:01Speaker 3: of the only people that came out right after the
- 15:03Speaker 3: New York Times article that said, I have questions. I
- 15:06Speaker 3: feel like this is a smear campaign against him just
- 15:09Speaker 3: by the way it was presented to us. In the
- 15:11Speaker 3: New York Times, they removed their paywall, which the New
- 15:14Speaker 3: York Times never removes their paywall. They made her complain
- 15:17Speaker 3: a downloadable PDF. Covering celebrity legal cases, accessing those documents
- 15:22Speaker 3: is not easy. So the fact that the New York
- 15:23Speaker 3: Times blasted it all over their front page, removed their paywall,
- 15:27Speaker 3: and had the entire document available to download as an
- 15:30Speaker 3: easy PDF that says, click here to read Blake's complaint.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I was like, that has so many red flags. We
- 15:36Speaker 3: see text messages, but we don't see the full context
- 15:38Speaker 3: of their conversations yet. I was like, we have to
- 15:40Speaker 3: wait to see what his side is before we make
- 15:42Speaker 3: a decision where everybody was like, you know, hashtag Blake
- 15:45Speaker 3: Lives Matter. We believe her. Stand with Blake. Believe Blake.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And I was like, I have questions.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Wait, there was a thing called Blake Lives Matter?
- 15:52Speaker 3: No, that was a joke.
- 15:54Speaker 2: That's pretty brilliant.
- 15:56Speaker 3: No, that's just a joke that I came up with
- 15:58Speaker 3: because there's there's so many Blake loyalists on the Internet.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 16:02Speaker 3: OK, just like the Amber Heard like diehards.
- 16:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 3: And listen, I get it. I get their mission. But this,
- 16:08Speaker 3: you know, like the Tyler Perry case right now, like
- 16:10Speaker 3: that one, I'm a little more, I believe the dude.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Let's just remind people of the Tyler Perry case. I
- 16:16Speaker 2: did discuss it with you guys before. Tyler Perry, as
- 16:20Speaker 2: you know, has a big studio, a whole many shows
- 16:23Speaker 2: under him. And there is a guy that he that
- 16:26Speaker 2: was acting on one of his shows. That's like a
- 16:28Speaker 2: series regular who has come forward and said that he
- 16:32Speaker 2: made a advances tried to come into his bed one
- 16:37Speaker 2: night when he's spending the night and so where do
- 16:41Speaker 2: you stand and he's suing and then saying that when
- 16:44Speaker 2: he resisted the advances and whatnot then all the things
- 16:48Speaker 2: that were promised to him in the flirting that was
- 16:52Speaker 2: going on in which he kept brushing it off because
- 16:55Speaker 2: he I don't know if he's gay or straight, but
- 16:56Speaker 2: he wasn't interested in Tyler Perry in that way. And that,
- 17:00Speaker 2: you know, the pilot that he was that was supposed
- 17:02Speaker 2: to be done, that he had written this guy. He
- 17:06Speaker 2: also wasn't asked to be on the next season of
- 17:08Speaker 2: the show.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 2: What are your what is your opinion on that?
- 17:12Speaker 3: I think I believe Derek. I think the accuser. I
- 17:15Speaker 3: think I listen. Are there people in Hollywood that will
- 17:19Speaker 3: try to advance their career by flirting with the producer? Sure.
- 17:22Speaker 3: But at this point, especially post Harvey Weinstein, as the
- 17:25Speaker 3: producer and the head of the company, you know better
- 17:27Speaker 3: than to be engaging in this behavior. Because I see
- 17:29Speaker 3: people being like, well, why did Derek keep going to
- 17:31Speaker 3: his house? Why would he get drunk with him? Why
- 17:33Speaker 3: would he why would he be hanging out in his underwear?
- 17:35Speaker 3: And I'm like, I get that. But also, Tyler Perry
- 17:38Speaker 3: is the boss. And he knew better than to be
- 17:41Speaker 3: doing any of this with, you know, the actor that
- 17:43Speaker 3: he has power over.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And when I read those texts and I read them
- 17:47Speaker 2: on the show, it was very much a person. And,
- 17:51Speaker 2: you know, we've seen it with women. I've been there, too,
- 17:53Speaker 2: where someone is being flirty and creepy who is in
- 17:56Speaker 2: a powerful position for you. And you're so embarrassed that
- 17:59Speaker 2: they're being flirty and creepy because you're like, could you
- 18:01Speaker 2: look in the mirror? Like, I have no desire in
- 18:03Speaker 2: fucking you. And like, you're gross. But you're like, ha ha, okay.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Like just try and in that exchange, you could feel
- 18:12Speaker 2: like Derek was doing that like, whoa, interesting that you
- 18:16Speaker 2: dream like that. Anyway, wondered if you could read my pilot.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It was just like every little thing was not being extended.
- 18:23Speaker 2: It wasn't like, tell me more about what I was
- 18:25Speaker 2: doing in your dream. It was like, oh, wow, have
- 18:27Speaker 2: you thought about taking some melatonin? Like it was just
- 18:29Speaker 2: constantly trying to like placate and like shut it down,
- 18:33Speaker 2: I felt.
- 18:34Speaker 3: And that's, I feel like, the argument that Blake Lively
- 18:36Speaker 3: is trying to make. She's trying to make it seem
- 18:37Speaker 3: like because Justin Baldoni was the director and the producer,
- 18:41Speaker 3: he was the Tyler Perry. He had all the control.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But I'm just like, you really expect me to believe
- 18:46Speaker 3: that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had zero control and
- 18:49Speaker 3: Baldoni was.
- 18:50Speaker 2: This— As they're rewriting the scene.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Yeah. He was just, you know, being so predatory. And
- 18:53Speaker 3: you have Taylor Swift walking in accidentally on meetings and
- 18:57Speaker 3: reviewing— you know, helping with casting decisions. Like, it's just
- 19:00Speaker 3: to me, it's too much of a.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Where do you think the Isabella who played the young
- 19:05Speaker 2: Blake Lively in It Ends With Us comes into all
- 19:08Speaker 2: of this?
- 19:09Speaker 3: I mean, she's trying really hard to avoid getting subpoenaed.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I think they've tried like five times to subpoena her
- 19:15Speaker 3: and she and her attorneys are kind of, you know,
- 19:17Speaker 3: ignoring it to the best of their ability. I think,
- 19:21Speaker 3: I mean, we've seen like her text messages and interview
- 19:23Speaker 3: bites that she did prior to you know, all of
- 19:25Speaker 3: this coming out publicly where she did nothing but praise
- 19:28Speaker 3: Baldoni and like praise him, you know, saying I felt
- 19:32Speaker 3: so safe on set and this was the best working
- 19:34Speaker 3: experience I had on, you know, my first major film.
- 19:37Speaker 3: So I think she's kind of between a rock and
- 19:39Speaker 3: a hard place where I think she her work experience
- 19:41Speaker 3: with Justin Baldoni was really good. But then she became
- 19:46Speaker 3: friends with Blake Lively which was so fucking weird because
- 19:49Speaker 3: Isabella is a young girl in her 20s. Blake's pushing
- 19:52Speaker 3: 40 and Blake's inviting her over for sleepovers and they're
- 19:55Speaker 3: baking cookies together. They had no scenes together because Isabella
- 19:59Speaker 3: played young Lily and Blake played old Lily. So, you know,
- 20:02Speaker 3: there's no time travel in this movie.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It's not like you're playing mother or daughter and you're like,
- 20:06Speaker 2: we should hang out off set. So we have like
- 20:08Speaker 2: a chemistry. Yeah, you're right.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 3: And she only had a couple of scenes. So it
- 20:12Speaker 3: made no sense that her and Blake would become so close.
- 20:15Speaker 3: And Blake's like flying her around the country to do press.
- 20:18Speaker 3: And again, the sleepovers and taking her out to dinners
- 20:21Speaker 3: and all of that stuff was just kind of strange.
- 20:23Speaker 3: So I think she feels this loyalty to Blake because
- 20:25Speaker 3: I think she believes that Blake told her these stories
- 20:28Speaker 3: about Baldoni. But she also knows that if she is
- 20:31Speaker 3: deposed or testifies, her experience with Baldoni is going to
- 20:36Speaker 3: contradict what Blake is trying to paint him as.
- 20:38Speaker 2: What do you think about Jenny Slate? Does anyone want
- 20:42Speaker 2: to depose her? She seems to have managed to stay
- 20:45Speaker 2: kind of out of it. And Jenny Slate, to remind you,
- 20:47Speaker 2: she plays Baldoni's sister in the movie and then also
- 20:52Speaker 2: the BFF to Blake Liley. So they do have a
- 20:54Speaker 2: lot of scenes together.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Yes.
- 20:57Speaker 3: I imagine Jenny Slate will also be deposed and dragged
- 21:01Speaker 3: into this as well. I think she's a really key
- 21:03Speaker 3: material witness based off of what she experienced on set.
- 21:07Speaker 3: We do have one report or a complaint, and she's
- 21:11Speaker 3: the only one that we've been able to find a
- 21:13Speaker 3: complaint about that was made towards Sony, where she complained
- 21:17Speaker 3: about the apartment that they put her up in during
- 21:20Speaker 3: the film. And she was like, I don't, you know.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I don't want to live here. It doesn't feel safe
- 21:25Speaker 3: for my kid because of the high ceilings or the
- 21:27Speaker 3: high windows or balcony. There was something that she felt
- 21:30Speaker 3: was unsafe for her kid. And so Wayfair is like, OK, well,
- 21:33Speaker 3: we'll come in and we'll eat your $ 15, 000 deposit and
- 21:36Speaker 3: we'll put you up somewhere else. And then I guess
- 21:39Speaker 3: she was bothered because in that mention and what she
- 21:42Speaker 3: complained about is they refer to the sanctity of motherhood.
- 21:45Speaker 3: And she just felt that that was creepy because they're
- 21:47Speaker 3: not moms. They're men. And like, how dare they speak
- 21:50Speaker 3: about the sanctity of motherhood? when they're literally paying $ 15, 000
- 21:54Speaker 3: to help her move into a new apartment.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I mean, that could have been, yeah, a misunderstanding or,
- 21:58Speaker 2: or whatever, or like some, like a guy trying to
- 22:01Speaker 2: be too nice to on the side of like, yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 2: of something that he's, you know, it was interesting cause
- 22:08Speaker 2: she was, um, in dying for sex and that was
- 22:11Speaker 2: nominated for a lot of things. And, um, I had
- 22:15Speaker 2: a Nikki Boyer who's the, who she plays here and, um,
- 22:19Speaker 2: it's such a great show and everything. Um, And there
- 22:22Speaker 2: was definitely an absence of her doing a ton of press,
- 22:26Speaker 2: Jenny Slate, because I think she wanted to avoid this,
- 22:31Speaker 2: which is understandable. Good thing it didn't hurt anyone wanting
- 22:33Speaker 2: to see the show. But yeah, I think it's a
- 22:36Speaker 2: hard position to be in. And we don't really know
- 22:40Speaker 2: how she feels. She could be totally Team Blake. you know,
- 22:43Speaker 2: or team Justin and just like not really go, I
- 22:46Speaker 2: don't want my career. I don't want, this is bad.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Like I could get it. Like, don't remember Lisa Vanderpump
- 22:52Speaker 2: didn't want to be called in the Brandy Glanville versus
- 22:56Speaker 2: Joanna Cooper smelly pussy thing either. Like, don't get me involved.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Like I just, It's yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 3: And so all these people are being dragged in. And
- 23:05Speaker 3: I think it's also a weird position for them to
- 23:07Speaker 3: be in because, yeah, at first, if Blake is making
- 23:09Speaker 3: these claims, a lot of people believe Blake. And then
- 23:11Speaker 3: you start to see, you know, all of the evidence
- 23:14Speaker 3: against her where she's just like, he showed me porn
- 23:17Speaker 3: on set and they're like, we showed her a birthing
- 23:19Speaker 3: video and here's the video. And it's like, well, then
- 23:21Speaker 3: that miscategorizes things. So I think the people that may
- 23:24Speaker 3: have believed her up front may have may now be
- 23:26Speaker 3: questioning whether or not they can believe her. And then
- 23:29Speaker 3: it's a weird place to be in because you're like, well,
- 23:31Speaker 3: who do I believe? What do I, you know, what
- 23:35Speaker 3: side do I pick? But I think that's why Taylor
- 23:37Speaker 3: Swift's silence is probably the most telling to me because
- 23:42Speaker 3: if she is not standing by Blake, has never issued
- 23:45Speaker 3: a statement in support of Blake, you know, is like,
- 23:47Speaker 3: I'll be deposed if I have to be deposed. You know,
- 23:50Speaker 3: it kind of feels like I would think that if
- 23:53Speaker 3: that really was your good girlfriend from 10 years and
- 23:55Speaker 3: you're the godmother to all her children and you guys
- 23:57Speaker 3: have this close bond, you would think that there would
- 24:00Speaker 3: be some sort of sticking by her.
- 24:04Speaker 2: But I mean, she's- Yeah, I think, you know, she
- 24:06Speaker 2: started that whole squad thing. I think she, you know,
- 24:11Speaker 2: has an interesting relationship with girlfriend friendships being that she
- 24:15Speaker 2: was treated horribly by Taylor Swift in high school. And
- 24:19Speaker 2: there was a story where she like invited all, when
- 24:22Speaker 2: she like hit it, she invited like all these girls
- 24:26Speaker 2: that were bitches to her to like see her show.
- 24:29Speaker 2: and like put them in the front row or something like,
- 24:31Speaker 2: you know, I mean, it's like, so I feel like, yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 2: when the friendship doesn't serve her anymore, or if she
- 24:36Speaker 2: feels like you're using me. Yeah. Yeah. Then she's not,
- 24:41Speaker 2: but she's going to have to do whatever she has
- 24:42Speaker 2: to do legally, but she's probably like fucking bitch. Like,
- 24:45Speaker 2: God damn it. You know, last question. Then we're going
- 24:49Speaker 2: to move on. And I have not thought of this.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Who should play these two in the movie and Blake,
- 24:55Speaker 2: Blake Lively and Taylor.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Blake Lively, Taylor Justin. And if we, I have not
- 25:01Speaker 2: thought it out, so I don't mean to put you
- 25:02Speaker 2: on the spot. Juicy Scoopers, please, like, comment.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I need ideas.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Because I need to, I'm not, I don't know either.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I don't know enough, I think, like, young-ish actresses. I'll
- 25:12Speaker 2: tell you what I think.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Isabella Ferrer can play Blake.
- 25:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 3: We can start there.
- 25:19Speaker 2: But I think that this will be, like, a more
- 25:24Speaker 2: of a Lifetime-type movie. Instead of like a really good Netflix.
- 25:30Speaker 2: I think it'll be a Lifetime type thing.
- 25:31Speaker 3: No, I have someone from a really big, like a
- 25:37Speaker 3: really powerful person in Hollywood that I asked, why haven't
- 25:42Speaker 3: we seen more of like these documentaries about the Blake
- 25:45Speaker 3: and Baldoni stuff? The ones that we have seen have
- 25:48Speaker 3: been like really small. One was like a foreign one
- 25:50Speaker 3: in Australia or something. And they said that a lot
- 25:54Speaker 3: of studios like top head execs are saying, no, we're
- 25:57Speaker 3: not touching it.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:58Speaker 3: They don't want to touch it because of Ryan Reynolds.
- 26:00Speaker 6: Right.
- 26:01Speaker 2: They don't want to piss off anyone.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Because of future projects. And they have no plans to
- 26:05Speaker 3: cover it the way they covered Dept v. Heard, where
- 26:08Speaker 3: after Dept v. Heard, all these documentaries came out, all
- 26:10Speaker 3: these like, you know, other projects came out that profiled
- 26:14Speaker 3: that case that I don't think we'll get in this case,
- 26:17Speaker 3: because in this case, there's more of an incentive to
- 26:19Speaker 3: protect Blake and Ryan than Whereas in the other case,
- 26:22Speaker 3: there was no incentive to protect Amber Heard.
- 26:24Speaker 2: OK, I want to say I think the decision to
- 26:26Speaker 2: make a made for TV movie won't happen until this
- 26:29Speaker 2: is completely concluded. Based on how it's concluded, I can
- 26:34Speaker 2: see the trailer for the Lifetime movie of and it'll
- 26:40Speaker 2: be like a couple years later, like let people sort
- 26:42Speaker 2: of forget. And it's like the biggest scandal of our time. Snap, snap, snap, snap, snap.
- 26:48Speaker 2: And then a girl being like, rye, rye. You know,
- 26:52Speaker 2: what are we going to do? Or something like, you know,
- 26:54Speaker 2: something like that. It'll be in, like, a cheesy way
- 26:58Speaker 2: that there'll be actually a couple people at home watching
- 27:01Speaker 2: that may not know the story. Like, they'll wait, like,
- 27:04Speaker 2: five years to do, like, the Hollywood scandal that rocked
- 27:07Speaker 2: the mid-2020s or whatever we're in.
- 27:11Speaker 3: I mean, and we'll get an SVU episode out of it.
- 27:14Speaker 3: You know, they always do ripped from the headlines. And
- 27:17Speaker 3: then you'll have someone play a fake Blake.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:21Speaker 7: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 27:23Speaker 7: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 27:29Speaker 7: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve
- 27:36Speaker 7: a treat. With eight flavours to choose from, you can
- 27:42Speaker 7: choose the flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 27:51Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 27:54Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 27:57Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 28:02Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 28:04Speaker 5: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 28:10Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 28:11Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 28:13Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 28:15Speaker 6: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 28:18Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 28:21Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 28:23Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 28:24Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 28:30Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 28:33Speaker 6: happens next.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 28:37Speaker 3: You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm not going to
- 28:40Speaker 3: pull punches. You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 28:43Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Okay, so speaking of which, you know, this is a
- 29:00Speaker 2: lot of what's going on on The Real Housewives of OC.
- 29:03Speaker 2: It's a lot of people right now, as the show
- 29:06Speaker 2: is airing, all the different girls kind of pointing the
- 29:09Speaker 2: finger at each other, saying, like, you are basically doing
- 29:13Speaker 2: what Blake and Justin are accusing each other of. You
- 29:18Speaker 2: are creating smear campaigns against Katie. People are saying, no, no, no,
- 29:22Speaker 2: it's Katie using bots and people to smear us. And,
- 29:28Speaker 2: you know, so there's like the two teams, which is
- 29:31Speaker 2: now Tamara, Katie. One side is Gretchen, Jen, Emily and Gina.
- 29:38Speaker 2: That's one side. boat off the Titanic, okay? You don't
- 29:43Speaker 2: know which one you're going to jump on. Then there's Katie, Tamara,
- 29:48Speaker 2: who like saw that coming and jumped on that.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Along with.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Is anybody else there?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Alexis Pulido.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Well, I feel like Alexis is kind of like in
- 29:58Speaker 3: the middle.
- 29:59Speaker 2: She'll come on.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Joe De La Rosa's trying to jump.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Joe's trying to jump on. And then Heather. Heather is like,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I have a helicopter picking me up from the Titanic
- 30:11Speaker 2: and I don't need to jump on either of your
- 30:13Speaker 2: shitty boats. And yeah, that's it. And Shannon. I think
- 30:18Speaker 2: Shannon was on The other side and now is kind
- 30:23Speaker 2: of figuring out, do I need to jump on the
- 30:26Speaker 2: Katie Tamra boat? Because she refollowed Katie and she doesn't
- 30:31Speaker 2: know what to do.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Well, I don't think she ever unfollowed Katie. I think
- 30:34Speaker 3: that was like people.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Oh, that was like a rumor? Yeah.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Because remember like at one point people were like, Lala
- 30:38Speaker 3: and Ariana unfollowed LVP. And then Lala and Ariana came
- 30:42Speaker 3: out and they're like, we were never following her.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 3: So I think people like saw Shannon was following Katie
- 30:47Speaker 3: recently and just like ran with that story. But I
- 30:50Speaker 3: don't think she ever unfollowed her.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Right. And so that's like what's happening. The actual episodes
- 30:57Speaker 2: are not as juicy as what's happening right now with
- 31:01Speaker 2: like what is going to happen to this show. And,
- 31:04Speaker 2: you know, it's really interesting as they talk about the
- 31:08Speaker 2: quote unquote bloggers, which really can mean anybody that has
- 31:10Speaker 2: an Instagram account with somewhat Bravo written in it. And
- 31:14Speaker 2: you can see it's so obvious who– who the cast
- 31:19Speaker 2: members have gotten to join their team.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Oh, 1,000%.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I mean, it's just, it's more obvious than what happened
- 31:25Speaker 2: over in New Jersey, where it's like this particular, you know,
- 31:29Speaker 2: Instagram account is just being like, literally just posting and
- 31:33Speaker 2: writing things that you know were sent, in my opinion,
- 31:38Speaker 2: from Tamara. Yeah. And then the other one is, you
- 31:41Speaker 2: know this is being sent from the other side.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:45Speaker 2: And it's just kind of like... I don't know where
- 31:48Speaker 2: it's like unfortunate. I don't know.
- 31:50Speaker 3: I don't know what's going to happen. I don't think
- 31:52Speaker 3: the show can move forward after this. Like I think
- 31:56Speaker 3: the show needs to be put on pause for maybe
- 32:00Speaker 3: a year. Like when Vanderpump took their pause after Stassi
- 32:03Speaker 3: and Jax and all of them were fired. I think
- 32:05Speaker 3: it needs to take a beat because I don't know
- 32:07Speaker 3: how the cast moves forward. None of them like Katie.
- 32:09Speaker 3: I don't believe Tamara's genuinely friends with Katie. I mean,
- 32:12Speaker 3: I think Tamara's just trying to do whatever. She's like, OK, well,
- 32:15Speaker 3: the audience.
- 32:15Speaker 2: No, she's best friends with Joe. Come on.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Sorry.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 3: There we go. Let's reboot that. Let's bring Joe on.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Joe and Alexis Bellino and Katie Janela and Tamara Judge.
- 32:24Speaker 3: There's the cast next season. Like, it's so stupid. And
- 32:28Speaker 3: the hard part is I actually do on a personal
- 32:31Speaker 3: level like Tamara. And, you know, I've enjoyed her at
- 32:34Speaker 3: events and stuff. But, like, I just see her and
- 32:37Speaker 3: Katie and all the little strings that they're pulling behind
- 32:40Speaker 3: the scenes more so than I think the other. Like,
- 32:42Speaker 3: I don't think the other women are strategically trying to.
- 32:45Speaker 3: do things or like preemptively plant seeds with bloggers. I
- 32:49Speaker 3: think they're all kind of in panic mode and just
- 32:50Speaker 3: like trying to figure.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Out what to do.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Because like Katie hired a crisis PR team that she's
- 32:55Speaker 3: using right now to kind of push all of these
- 32:57Speaker 3: narratives that like the lie detector company is fake and
- 33:00Speaker 3: it's all a plot. And it's this whole conspiracy that-
- 33:03Speaker 3: Gina and Emily and Gretchen and Jen and the producers
- 33:07Speaker 3: and Bravo and everybody's plotting against Katie to make her
- 33:10Speaker 3: just look like a liar for, I don't know, a
- 33:12Speaker 3: great storyline when now that she's not on the show
- 33:14Speaker 3: this week. I'm just like, I didn't even miss her.
- 33:17Speaker 3: She's not that significant.
- 33:18Speaker 2: They keep moving the goalpost. OK, this we joke that
- 33:22Speaker 2: Housewives is football, our football, but it really isn't. So
- 33:26Speaker 2: it's like you're just supposed to be yourself and actually
- 33:30Speaker 2: have genuine relationships with the women. And it's hard because
- 33:34Speaker 2: if it wasn't genuine and you were truly cast, it
- 33:37Speaker 2: is hard to get in there and really be friends.
- 33:40Speaker 2: It's a job. It's a job. And the women are
- 33:43Speaker 2: fighting to keep the job. To keep the job that
- 33:46Speaker 2: also comes with other opportunities for money and fame and
- 33:51Speaker 2: fun and a chance to maybe make enough money that
- 33:55Speaker 2: you can leave your husband that you hate. I mean,
- 33:57Speaker 2: like whatever it is, they're not, they don't want to
- 33:59Speaker 2: give it up and you don't, you can't blame them
- 34:01Speaker 2: for that. And then also everybody's on social media. So
- 34:04Speaker 2: if you feel like your reputation is being destroyed, you
- 34:08Speaker 2: will do whatever it takes to rectify that or try
- 34:13Speaker 2: to fix it or try to get people that you
- 34:15Speaker 2: think might have some influence in swaying the audience to
- 34:19Speaker 2: believe that I'm not a bad person. I'm not a liar, whatever.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And that's like where we're at. And it's just, yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 2: it started to get a little exhausting. Yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 3: I just think there are too many. And this is why,
- 34:30Speaker 3: because people are like, well, why would you rather believe
- 34:32Speaker 3: like Gretchen and Jen and everyone else over Tamara and Katie?
- 34:35Speaker 3: And I'm just like. Because I see the things that Cameron,
- 34:37Speaker 3: like I already know the whole finale. I know all
- 34:39Speaker 3: the details for the season. Because Tamara put it out
- 34:41Speaker 3: there weeks ago. Months. I got a call when I
- 34:45Speaker 3: was in New York a couple months ago. And, you know,
- 34:48Speaker 3: with people like freaking out because of the, like, it's just,
- 34:51Speaker 3: and then even I, you know, I went on tour
- 34:53Speaker 3: and Gretchen came to one of my shows because she's
- 34:55Speaker 3: friends with Jacqueline Loretta, who I've been friends with for
- 34:58Speaker 3: many years. And Jacqueline was in my show and Gretchen
- 35:00Speaker 3: just kind of came to support Jacqueline and support me.
- 35:02Speaker 3: And then immediately, like not even 48 hours later, like
- 35:05Speaker 3: Tamra was already like in people's DMs trying to be like,
- 35:08Speaker 3: what did Gretchen say at the show? And like, she
- 35:10Speaker 3: was trying to like get dirt. And it was just like,
- 35:13Speaker 3: I'm just like, can you stop? Like, just let, like,
- 35:15Speaker 3: I want these women, like same thing with like Lisa
- 35:17Speaker 3: Rin in the Aspen season with Kathy. I'm like, if
- 35:19Speaker 3: these women can just like let it all play out
- 35:21Speaker 3: organically and and wait to see how the audience turns.
- 35:24Speaker 3: And if you need to do a podcast tour after
- 35:26Speaker 3: the season to clear your name, fine. But when you're
- 35:29Speaker 3: in people's ear, like I can name five, six bloggers
- 35:33Speaker 3: that Tamara has been in touch with that I know
- 35:35Speaker 3: for a fact she has spoken to about this season.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I think I could get to, I think I could
- 35:40Speaker 2: get to about eight.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I think there might be more. I think that's, yeah.
- 35:44Speaker 3: That's a frugal, generous number that I was giving her.
- 35:47Speaker 3: But like, that's my thing is it's like, So now
- 35:49Speaker 3: I'm less inclined to believe her and Katie because I know,
- 35:52Speaker 3: you know, and Katie's out there having her husband Matt
- 35:54Speaker 3: do like podcast interviews now. It's just like, we already
- 35:57Speaker 3: know like Gretchen and Slade can be a little thirsty,
- 36:00Speaker 3: but when you're trying to be like, oh, well, I'm
- 36:02Speaker 3: the victim. Everyone's against me. It's a conspiracy theory. But
- 36:05Speaker 3: then you're playing all of these same games and planting
- 36:07Speaker 3: all of these seeds to get ahead of the narrative.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Like when one of Katie's friends text me and sent
- 36:13Speaker 3: me this like TikTok video about the lie detector company
- 36:16Speaker 3: and how the lie detector company is fake. And I'm
- 36:18Speaker 3: just like, we haven't even seen the lie detector episode.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Like I knew what was coming up in the episode,
- 36:22Speaker 3: but I was like, I haven't even seen this episode yet.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Why are you guys circulating this information to already taint
- 36:29Speaker 3: that the lie detector company is fake and fraudulent? When
- 36:32Speaker 3: we don't even, the audience has not seen the episode
- 36:34Speaker 3: yet to even know what the results of the lie
- 36:36Speaker 3: detector are yet. So you're already trying to discredit the
- 36:39Speaker 3: lie detector company.
- 36:40Speaker 2: It's very easy to send, you know, a blog, like
- 36:45Speaker 2: really like a blog or whatever, but also like a
- 36:47Speaker 2: post or a TikTok or whatever to send it to
- 36:49Speaker 2: other people so that maybe then I do my podcast
- 36:53Speaker 2: and I go, yeah, this is a good point. You know?
- 36:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 2: And I can't blame them for doing that. Like, I
- 37:00Speaker 2: get it. Why would you just sit and just let
- 37:02Speaker 2: yourself drown? Like, you already gave up your anonymity. We
- 37:07Speaker 2: already know everything about you. Now you're a famous person.
- 37:09Speaker 2: You can't be unfamous. So you might as well try
- 37:12Speaker 2: to save yourself. So I don't blame them for trying
- 37:14Speaker 2: to save themselves.
- 37:15Speaker 3: What advice would you give? Because my thing is don't
- 37:18Speaker 3: plant those seeds preemptively because it'll always come back to
- 37:20Speaker 3: bite you. It always takes one step. salty blogger to
- 37:23Speaker 3: get pissed off and to post all the screenshots of
- 37:26Speaker 3: everything you've ever shared. Like that's the riskier option for
- 37:29Speaker 3: these housewives is to play that game.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Because it always comes back around and bites them in
- 37:33Speaker 3: the butt. So what advice would you give these housewives
- 37:36Speaker 3: to save their reputation, but also know there's a beating
- 37:40Speaker 3: that's coming on the show?
- 37:41Speaker 2: I would turn off my phone. I would, I would
- 37:44Speaker 2: stop doing whatever it is. I would just like only
- 37:48Speaker 2: posts like dumb shit and I would honestly hire someone
- 37:51Speaker 2: to make sure that I don't look at it just
- 37:53Speaker 2: so my mental health is okay. Then, um, now if
- 37:57Speaker 2: you get asked to be on watch what happens live, yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 2: of course you're not going to turn that down, but
- 38:02Speaker 2: I would not do any more interviews. I would not
- 38:05Speaker 2: do any more commenting and I would just come into
- 38:11Speaker 2: that reunion in a dress that looks good that you're
- 38:15Speaker 2: sitting in.
- 38:16Speaker 5: Okay.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Okay. A leg that's well-oiled and tanned.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Yep.
- 38:22Speaker 2: And... really have what I'm going to say. Clear and
- 38:27Speaker 2: concise and not confusing. So if you're coming to defend yourself,
- 38:32Speaker 2: it's like really think about it and know that I
- 38:36Speaker 2: just want to know if this gets played 12 years
- 38:39Speaker 2: from now on Peacock, which it will, that what I'm
- 38:42Speaker 2: saying here is the way I feel. And if someone's
- 38:45Speaker 2: going to say, you're lying and it's not true, I'd
- 38:47Speaker 2: be like, this is who I am. This is what
- 38:50Speaker 2: I think. whatever you want to show or manipulate or
- 38:55Speaker 2: say that somebody put out about me, whatever, this is
- 38:58Speaker 2: where I stand. And this was a show I thought
- 39:02Speaker 2: would be fun to do. And if you want me
- 39:05Speaker 2: back and we can have fun, fine. And if you
- 39:07Speaker 2: don't like, I still am this person. I, that for
- 39:10Speaker 2: all of them.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 2: For all of them, that's the only way you can be.
- 39:14Speaker 3: And I also think, as hard as it may be
- 39:17Speaker 3: for the ego sometimes, it's better to be in good
- 39:21Speaker 3: graces with the producers because eventually the tide will turn.
- 39:25Speaker 3: You're not going to get five bad seasons where you're
- 39:28Speaker 3: getting beaten up season after season after season. like just
- 39:30Speaker 3: let it and the dynamics shift and somebody else takes
- 39:33Speaker 3: the heat the next season like just ride the wave
- 39:35Speaker 3: because the audience is fickle and they forget so quickly I.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Mean I don't believe that all these people are good
- 39:40Speaker 2: people okay so saying I'm a good person whatever I'm
- 39:46Speaker 2: Do whatever you can. If you're a snake, play the
- 39:48Speaker 2: snaky game.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 2: But, like, if you feel that you're being beaten on,
- 39:52Speaker 2: whether that's Katie or Gretchen or both, and you know
- 39:55Speaker 2: and you really feel like this is my truth, you
- 39:57Speaker 2: just have to sit in your truth and just go,
- 39:59Speaker 2: I know that, you know, God or whoever you believe in,
- 40:02Speaker 2: the universe is on my side.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:04Speaker 2: And eventually... it will prevail. And I am not going
- 40:09Speaker 2: to scream it. Because where it gets is when they
- 40:12Speaker 2: try to defend themselves like in the minutia of it.
- 40:15Speaker 2: And it's just like the audience doesn't have a lot
- 40:19Speaker 2: of tolerance for it. They don't care enough. So it
- 40:22Speaker 2: has to be like, I mean, I always say like
- 40:25Speaker 2: the reason OJ got off is because the DNA evidence
- 40:30Speaker 2: was too new and too confusing and too exhausting and
- 40:35Speaker 2: they lost interest.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 2: And then someone said, if the glove doesn't fit, you
- 40:39Speaker 2: must have quit. And they're like, okay. Yeah. Like, that
- 40:42Speaker 2: makes sense. Like, that's two. So they're like, the lie
- 40:46Speaker 2: detector people were actors. Okay. Then that's what it is.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And Emily really hired them. No, she didn't. Like, are
- 40:55Speaker 2: you kidding me? You think Emily really hired them and
- 40:58Speaker 2: put up the black sheets in her room to do
- 41:00Speaker 2: the lie? Like, you don't think... Like she's being quiet
- 41:04Speaker 2: because she doesn't want to piss off the producers because
- 41:05Speaker 2: she wants to come back.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 2: They all want to come back.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Nobody. It's so rare that anybody and even the people
- 41:12Speaker 2: that quit like Lisa Vanderpump.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:15Speaker 2: She can. She has three other shows.
- 41:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:17Speaker 2: She has three other restaurants. Give me someone who truly quit.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I can only think of the doctor from Miami. Oh, Dr.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Nicole.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Whose husband is so fucking rich and she's a young
- 41:30Speaker 2: mom and she's a full blown doctor.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 2: She, and, and she's still kind of like being popping
- 41:37Speaker 2: in here or there. She's still like leaving the door open.
- 41:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 41:40Speaker 2: That she's like the only one that I think has really,
- 41:42Speaker 2: truly like meant it when they said, I don't really
- 41:46Speaker 2: need this right now.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Well, Bethany left twice.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:51Speaker 3: And created the Bethany clause and Bravo can thank her
- 41:54Speaker 3: for every reason. Because, you know, she's the best ever.
- 41:57Speaker 2: She's the best ever.
- 41:59Speaker 3: And they paid her millions and millions and millions of
- 42:02Speaker 3: dollars to come back.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 42:04Speaker 2: She created the whole thing. Anyway. Okay. So now let's
- 42:07Speaker 2: talk about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. It premiered
- 42:10Speaker 2: last night. And I'll fill you guys in. If you're
- 42:14Speaker 2: not watching it, who cares? You know what we're talking about.
- 42:17Speaker 2: They're in Salt Lake City. It starts out with Angie,
- 42:20Speaker 2: who's the Greek one. She's like year three. She told
- 42:24Speaker 2: the girls, get ready for a girl's trip and put a,
- 42:27Speaker 2: you know, a cute little thing on the invite that
- 42:29Speaker 2: looked like they were going to a beach. But instead
- 42:32Speaker 2: she drives up in an RV and Mary already gets
- 42:35Speaker 2: in the car and they pick up all the girls
- 42:37Speaker 2: and they go to a campsite. All right. You know,
- 42:42Speaker 2: I found it. I read the reviews. A lot of
- 42:46Speaker 2: people really loved it. So I'm going to start out
- 42:47Speaker 2: with the positive. A lot of people are like, this
- 42:49Speaker 2: is the best franchise. I'm so glad they're back. This
- 42:51Speaker 2: was so funny. Me as someone who is an actual
- 42:55Speaker 2: funny person, I don't appreciate the bits. Yeah.
- 43:00Speaker 3: It's very try hard.
- 43:01Speaker 2: I don't appreciate like that. They're basically following a script
- 43:05Speaker 2: and doing an act and it starts out. These guys
- 43:09Speaker 2: come wearing, you know, from, from the Halloween costume, the
- 43:13Speaker 2: SWAT outfits, uh, where is, you know, Whitney Rose and
- 43:18Speaker 2: then they're strippers and then they strip in the weird RV.
- 43:22Speaker 2: And it was just, so dumb to bring back like
- 43:26Speaker 2: when they were in the van and Jen Shaw got arrested.
- 43:29Speaker 2: And I'm sure Jen Shaw is sitting back going, once again,
- 43:32Speaker 2: you use me for, you know, a plot line as
- 43:34Speaker 2: I'm rotting in here with one drop, you know, Elizabeth Holmes.
- 43:38Speaker 2: So then, then they go and they get to the
- 43:42Speaker 2: campsite and they go, okay, Brittany goes, okay, everybody, we're
- 43:48Speaker 2: going to put down our phones, but I'm going to
- 43:51Speaker 2: give you all these flip flops. camera things from 19
- 43:53Speaker 2: from 2010 and you are going to run around and
- 43:57Speaker 2: film shit I'm like okay producers now you're fucking lazy
- 44:02Speaker 2: yeah why do they have to be camera people too
- 44:05Speaker 2: and why are we doing a Blair Witch project from
- 44:07Speaker 2: 25 years ago a bit and and it looks like
- 44:11Speaker 2: shit it's not a pretty time of year wherever this
- 44:13Speaker 2: campsite is um yeah they're all trying to I mean
- 44:18Speaker 2: Shannon Bedore is trying too hard to stop falling You
- 44:22Speaker 2: didn't need to bring those pots and pans. Stop with
- 44:25Speaker 2: your bits.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I don't know who you think.
- 44:28Speaker 3: She's trying to do the better. Do you think she's
- 44:29Speaker 3: kind of just a little wacky now?
- 44:30Speaker 2: I think Heather Dubrow and Tamara and Shannon have like
- 44:35Speaker 2: hired young people and Emily and Gina are doing bits.
- 44:41Speaker 2: And I'm like, I don't know what person you hired
- 44:44Speaker 2: from the improv class of the OC that's trying to
- 44:47Speaker 2: help you with your bits. But, like, we don't need
- 44:50Speaker 2: you to be funny. Just, like, be yourself. Like, what
- 44:53Speaker 2: is this? And, you know, and then Heather acting like
- 44:57Speaker 2: she doesn't know about all the shit that's going on
- 45:01Speaker 2: with the lawsuits with Lisa Barlow. She's like, what?
- 45:03Speaker 3: I haven't seen any of this.
- 45:05Speaker 2: So that's what I think. I thought it was kind
- 45:07Speaker 2: of exhausting. I didn't think it was... It did not
- 45:09Speaker 2: keep my interest.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 2: But, you know, you have to start somewhere. And then
- 45:15Speaker 2: I didn't realize that... you know, a big thing is
- 45:20Speaker 2: that Angie has some steak and some tequila company. And
- 45:24Speaker 2: that's why she was drinking it from the bottle. Much
- 45:26Speaker 2: like Bethany Frankel. Please say it's not about Tom shaking
- 45:30Speaker 2: her skinny girl margarita mix. So she knows to bring it,
- 45:33Speaker 2: carry it around the campsite. Don't blame me for doing it.
- 45:37Speaker 2: That's what you should do is show your product.
- 45:39Speaker 3: It's not. So I don't think it's her product. Cause
- 45:41Speaker 3: I've actually worked with this brand many, many years ago. Um,
- 45:46Speaker 3: On my podcast, I was doing like I would have
- 45:49Speaker 3: a drink of the week and I would have different
- 45:50Speaker 3: alcohol sponsors and they had sponsored. And that was when
- 45:52Speaker 3: they had just started. And what's so unique about their
- 45:55Speaker 3: tequila is they have a rosé tequila. OK. Most people
- 45:58Speaker 3: have like Blanco, Reposado and Yeho. This is their rosé tequila.
- 46:04Speaker 3: So she must have gotten some sort of brand deal
- 46:06Speaker 3: with them, I'm assuming, or maybe as an investor now.
- 46:09Speaker 3: And is clearly just doing this to knock Vita Tequila,
- 46:12Speaker 3: which is Lisa Barlow's tequila company. I don't know. Are
- 46:16Speaker 3: we interested in housewives hacking alcohol anymore?
- 46:19Speaker 2: I mean, is any hardcore housewife fan, like, going, let
- 46:24Speaker 2: me— how dare she? I only drink Vita Tequila. Like, I
- 46:28Speaker 2: feel like a wine thing is such a weird— I don't
- 46:31Speaker 2: think that anybody— Except for the queen herself, Bethany Frankel.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Did people really kind of go, oh, I like a
- 46:38Speaker 2: Skinny Girl Margarita or whatever? Like, I don't think anyone
- 46:41Speaker 2: has ever been, like, true to the champagne that Heather
- 46:44Speaker 2: Dubrow was selling once. Or the Wine by Wives of
- 46:49Speaker 2: Vicky and Tamara. Or the, what was, Pinot Grigio.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Ramona's Pinot Grigio.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Sonia's Sissy Talk or whatever.
- 46:58Speaker 3: What was it called? It was called Tipsy Girl.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Sissy Talk. God, there have been so many. Oh, then
- 47:05Speaker 2: there was the Peach Bellini of Teresa's. I mean, there's
- 47:12Speaker 2: just been, yeah.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Brandy had a wine.
- 47:14Speaker 2: I don't think by you bringing in another one, Angie,
- 47:18Speaker 2: that you're going to take one dollar from Vita Tequila.
- 47:22Speaker 3: No, because there aren't many dollars going to Vita Tequila
- 47:25Speaker 3: as it is.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Right. So then she, Brittany brings up, now who brings
- 47:29Speaker 2: up the Vita Tequila lawsuits?
- 47:31Speaker 3: Was it Brittany or was it? Bronwyn.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Bronwyn does. Bronwyn does. Well, she likes to talk about
- 47:38Speaker 2: Todd and I'm going to talk about her numerous lawsuits
- 47:42Speaker 2: with her tequila company. You know, I'm a germaphobe, but
- 47:46Speaker 2: I'll let all my dog shit around my coffee cups
- 47:49Speaker 2: that Todd brings home from a vacation when I meet
- 47:52Speaker 2: him in a dinosaur Halloween costume.
- 47:55Speaker 1: I will.
- 47:56Speaker 2: So she– that whole thing was dumb. And then– so
- 48:01Speaker 2: that happens. Then I thought this was kind of good.
- 48:04Speaker 2: When we got to Brittany saying something about her– Whitney
- 48:10Speaker 2: Rose's business.
- 48:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:13Speaker 2: And then Whitney Rose just– lays it out there. And
- 48:17Speaker 2: that was probably the best part of the night. She's like, yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 2: I made a big fucking mistake. I spent all this
- 48:23Speaker 2: money rebranding a number of times. We put all of
- 48:26Speaker 2: our money in it and I don't have, I'm in debt.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Like I don't have a dollar. I don't have the products.
- 48:32Speaker 2: And I had to like fire 30 employees and let
- 48:35Speaker 2: people go. And now people are doing TikToks about it
- 48:38Speaker 2: to like, you know, try to get some fame from it.
- 48:41Speaker 2: And it's a big disaster. And I don't have a
- 48:43Speaker 2: pot to piss in. So there you go. Are you happy, Brittany?
- 48:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:46Speaker 2: With your bump it? Are you happy? And then so
- 48:49Speaker 2: then she comes around. She's like, well, you shouldn't have
- 48:51Speaker 2: said that I suck dick for. They're like, what? So
- 48:54Speaker 2: like that whole section was good.
- 48:56Speaker 3: I think Brittany is one that I enjoy. I enjoyed Mary,
- 49:00Speaker 3: but now I feel like Mary's also getting a little sticky. Oh,
- 49:03Speaker 3: she's putting it on. She knows what she's doing.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:06Speaker 3: Whereas Brittany, I think, is really just, there's a lot
- 49:09Speaker 3: of naivete there. She's very, you know. I think she's
- 49:12Speaker 3: entertaining as hell. She's very entertaining. And I think she
- 49:14Speaker 3: reminds me of like a matured Sheena Shea, right? Always
- 49:18Speaker 3: in love with the wrong guys and like does all
- 49:20Speaker 3: these crazy things for love. And like, you know, and
- 49:23Speaker 3: I think she genuinely tries to like, you know, get
- 49:26Speaker 3: these other women to like her. But because she tries
- 49:29Speaker 3: so hard, like it just comes across as comical. Whereas
- 49:32Speaker 3: Mary's kind of, I've lost, you know, as much interest
- 49:36Speaker 3: in Mary or like Kathy Hilton. Like, I just feel
- 49:37Speaker 3: like They play it up for the cameras now more than,
- 49:41Speaker 3: you know, it was genuine maybe at the beginning. But no,
- 49:45Speaker 3: I agree. Whitney's vulnerability and just being like, yeah, here
- 49:48Speaker 3: you want to know I failed at the business. And
- 49:50Speaker 3: and that's what a lot of these like these aren't businesswomen.
- 49:52Speaker 3: They think that if I launch a product and I'm
- 49:53Speaker 3: on a show, it's just going to sell, you know.
- 49:56Speaker 3: But it's like you have to be at all the
- 49:57Speaker 3: expos and you have to be doing signings with Whitney
- 50:00Speaker 3: to come and buy my jewelry and pop up shops.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Why are you suddenly going to switch from your skincare
- 50:05Speaker 2: line to like a five step skincare line of someone that,
- 50:09Speaker 2: you know, is just a housewife? It's like, why, you know?
- 50:13Speaker 2: Maybe if you were someone like, you know, Kim or whatever,
- 50:17Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian that had the eczema. Yeah. Like someone that
- 50:19Speaker 2: has a real skin issue that you're like, we cured it. Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 2: And once we cured it, I worked with that dermatologist
- 50:26Speaker 2: and we created this for people that have done it
- 50:29Speaker 2: at this specific thing. But like all these like whatever
- 50:32Speaker 2: they call white label, you just put your name on it.
- 50:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:35Speaker 2: It's just not the wisest way to go.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:37Speaker 2: And most of the time, these women don't lose money
- 50:40Speaker 2: at it. It just goes away.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Because they don't have to put money into it.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Yeah. But this was actually kind of sad.
- 50:46Speaker 3: She didn't need to hire 30 people, though. That was
- 50:48Speaker 3: her first mistake.
- 50:49Speaker 2: So I asked AI. I was like, what happened? So
- 50:52Speaker 2: they said, this is what happened. Whitney Rose's MLM business
- 50:55Speaker 2: failed due to a cycle of expensive rebrands, poor sales,
- 50:59Speaker 2: financial mismanagement, and controversial business practices, followed by financial turmoil.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Then it says the cycle of failed rebrands. Iris and Bo,
- 51:07Speaker 2: Rose's first, Whitney Rose's first skincare company was rebranded into
- 51:10Speaker 2: Wild Rose Beauty. The transition was costly and a scene
- 51:13Speaker 2: from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City showed her spending
- 51:16Speaker 2: a Disportionate amount of money to launch a photo shoot
- 51:20Speaker 2: and neglected to feature the actual products. This is always
- 51:23Speaker 2: a housewife mistake. It's because when the product is ready,
- 51:28Speaker 2: they won't be filming. So they're like, how do we
- 51:30Speaker 2: do some type of product launch or something? But it
- 51:34Speaker 2: isn't good and everyone rips on you. Wild Rose Beauty
- 51:36Speaker 2: in 2004, it was that it had secretly folded. Then
- 51:41Speaker 2: Soul People, following the Wild Rose beauty failure, that company
- 51:46Speaker 2: existing inventory was funneled into a new social selling company
- 51:49Speaker 2: called Soul People, which listed Rose as the CEO, co-CEO,
- 51:54Speaker 2: and the rebrand was a disaster with allegations of deceptive
- 51:57Speaker 2: MLM practices. That's where the people came out that worked
- 52:01Speaker 2: for her. That was like, we bought all this product.
- 52:05Speaker 2: And then there was another thing that happened. Then they said,
- 52:09Speaker 2: They had this launch event where the sole people canceled
- 52:11Speaker 2: a three-day launch event. That's another thing that housewives do
- 52:15Speaker 2: is they think they're Tony Robbins.
- 52:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:18Speaker 2: And they're like, why don't you spend three? Remember when
- 52:20Speaker 2: Teddy Mellencamp had her like her like her wellness things.
- 52:25Speaker 2: And I just think women are so like looking for
- 52:28Speaker 2: an answer, like a three-day answer of just like, you know,
- 52:32Speaker 2: fix my life.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:34Speaker 2: And why you would think a housewife could ever fix
- 52:36Speaker 2: your life. I mean, come on.
- 52:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 52:39Speaker 2: So then they go to the three, that launch thing
- 52:42Speaker 2: gets canceled. And then they, that by canceling it, they
- 52:48Speaker 2: only gave them a hundred dollar credit to the product. Now,
- 52:51Speaker 2: of course we know when people cancel stuff, whether it's
- 52:53Speaker 2: a Dell or whoever you've, you know, gotten off work,
- 52:57Speaker 2: you've got paid for a hotel, you've gotten a flight
- 52:59Speaker 2: that maybe got one of those flights that you don't
- 53:01Speaker 2: get the money back for all of that. So that's
- 53:04Speaker 2: why people were doing the TikToks and were mad. And then, um,
- 53:08Speaker 2: The husband, the concerns were also raised about the history
- 53:11Speaker 2: of Rosa's husband, Justin, who was also involved in a
- 53:14Speaker 2: previous MLM company and ended due to lawsuits. So, you know,
- 53:19Speaker 2: we'll see what's going on. So there we go with that.
- 53:24Speaker 2: But I want to say, why, if this was, why
- 53:29Speaker 2: isn't they, now maybe she had red hair for a
- 53:32Speaker 2: month before this camping scene, but she has red hair. Like,
- 53:35Speaker 2: why don't you address the red hair? Why wouldn't a
- 53:38Speaker 2: friend just go, like, if I was a producer, I'd
- 53:40Speaker 2: be like, someone just ask, like, why Whitney, how's Whitney
- 53:43Speaker 2: enjoying redhead life?
- 53:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Like, that's a pretty big move when a blonde goes
- 53:48Speaker 2: to a redhead. And I don't think it's ever a
- 53:50Speaker 2: good idea.
- 53:51Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 53:51Speaker 3: No, yeah. Listen, there were photos that I would see
- 53:54Speaker 3: her and I was like, oh, maybe she can pull
- 53:55Speaker 3: this off. And then when I saw it on camera,
- 53:57Speaker 3: because you see it in its full context without lighting
- 53:59Speaker 3: and filters and stuff. And I was like, oh, I don't,
- 54:01Speaker 3: I don't like the red hair. And then her story
- 54:03Speaker 3: is that she dyed her hair red because her daughter's
- 54:04Speaker 3: a redhead and She wanted her to let her daughter
- 54:08Speaker 3: know that, like, it's okay. Like, don't let people bully
- 54:10Speaker 3: you for having red hair. Like, that's the story.
- 54:12Speaker 2: I think that was another, like, rebrand attempt. Because she's
- 54:16Speaker 2: Whitney Rose. She should have rose-colored hair.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Yeah. That makes sense.
- 54:20Speaker 2: And then maybe she gets into the rose tequila.
- 54:21Speaker 3: That's really dark red hair. Like, a rose, like, a
- 54:25Speaker 3: subtle pink in the, you know.
- 54:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 54:27Speaker 3: It would have been a little better in the blonde.
- 54:28Speaker 2: If you lived your whole life as a blonde, stay blonde. Yeah.
- 54:32Speaker 2: My sister's been modern her whole life and she got
- 54:34Speaker 2: someone to talk her into going like Auburn. Well, we're
- 54:37Speaker 2: like for like six. She was that baby for four months.
- 54:40Speaker 2: And I was like, you know, when the person shows up,
- 54:43Speaker 2: you have to act like you love it. I love it.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Oh, thank you. It's great.
- 54:47Speaker 2: You know, my dad was like, I don't like it.
- 54:49Speaker 2: You know, I was like, be honest. And then, yeah,
- 54:52Speaker 2: just some people.
- 54:53Speaker 3: It's yeah. Whitney, leave it from mom talk from Mormon wife. She,
- 54:58Speaker 3: I think, pulled off her red hair.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Well.
- 54:59Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe. She looks great.
- 55:01Speaker 3: She's on Dancing with the Stars now.
- 55:02Speaker 2: It's just if you have been blonde your whole life,
- 55:05Speaker 2: you know, it's OK if you bounce back and forth.
- 55:08Speaker 2: But like, whatever. So we'll see what happens with it.
- 55:12Speaker 2: It just was honestly. And then when they were showing
- 55:14Speaker 2: like what's coming up. It was just it's all horrible
- 55:19Speaker 2: fighting and screaming.
- 55:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:21Speaker 2: In costumes. I just feel like.
- 55:24Speaker 3: The show's become very produced based off of what I
- 55:27Speaker 3: think they know has worked in the past on Salt
- 55:30Speaker 3: Lake City. So like the women are super savvy to it.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Even like the narrating that Heather does at the beginning
- 55:35Speaker 3: of every season of like, what are we going to do?
- 55:38Speaker 3: All of us, this person's having a fight with this person.
- 55:40Speaker 3: This person's having a fight. And we're all five going
- 55:42Speaker 3: to be on a trip together. It's just like it's
- 55:45Speaker 3: all like it's kind of the same playbook that they've
- 55:47Speaker 3: done for the last three seasons. which like really worked
- 55:50Speaker 3: in the Bermuda season. And last season had some good moments,
- 55:54Speaker 3: but I just feel like we're falling into this trap
- 55:57Speaker 3: of overproducing and all the women are becoming too self-produced.
- 55:59Speaker 2: And I love that they always call it the friend
- 56:01Speaker 2: group instead of like the cast. Yeah. And they never
- 56:04Speaker 2: say the reunion. They say what happened in New York.
- 56:06Speaker 4: In New York.
- 56:06Speaker 3: It's always what happened in New York. When we were
- 56:10Speaker 3: in New York.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 3: It's like, at this point, we know it's the reunion.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Yeah. So this, I think, is a horrible title for
- 56:18Speaker 2: a movie. The Big Bold Beautiful Journey. Who the fuck
- 56:22Speaker 2: thought of the title of that? Maybe it's based on
- 56:24Speaker 2: a book. I don't know. I don't care. That's a
- 56:26Speaker 2: horrible title for a movie.
- 56:29Speaker 3: It is a horrible... It's like a slogan.
- 56:30Speaker 2: And it's a horrible outfit that.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Is that Margot Robbie?
- 56:33Speaker 2: Margot Robbie. Yeah, wearing. Like, The Big Bold... Like, who.
- 56:39Speaker 2: You know what's a good title for a movie? Fatal Attraction.
- 56:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Like, come on. I'm not a brand manager, but like,
- 56:46Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. It's a mouthful. It's awful.
- 56:49Speaker 3: What is the movie even about?
- 56:50Speaker 2: They open a door in the forest and then go
- 56:53Speaker 2: back into, which honestly, I would love to go back
- 56:57Speaker 2: in time myself. Like if there was ever some weird
- 57:01Speaker 2: AI version that I could just suddenly like be, have
- 57:05Speaker 2: it be like 1988, like remember everything. I think that'd
- 57:07Speaker 2: be so fun and great. It's not going to happen,
- 57:10Speaker 2: so I don't need to see it as a movie. Okay.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Cardi B. Cardi B is pregnant with her fourth child,
- 57:17Speaker 2: her first with Stefan Diggs. I don't even, is he,
- 57:21Speaker 2: what does he do? Do we know?
- 57:23Speaker 3: Is he?
- 57:23Speaker 2: A rapper too?
- 57:25Speaker 3: Probably aspiring.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Anyway, you know, she has three kids with Offset. And
- 57:32Speaker 2: I will say, you know what? She's living an authentic
- 57:36Speaker 2: life to her music.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Did you watch her trial?
- 57:38Speaker 2: Yes, I loved it. It was great. I watched the
- 57:40Speaker 2: whole trial. I loved the bits. But she is still
- 57:43Speaker 2: that B. She is that girl. She likes her men.
- 57:48Speaker 2: You know, she had three babies with Offset. She felt
- 57:50Speaker 2: like Offset wasn't treating her right. She moved the fuck along.
- 57:53Speaker 2: She got pregnant with another great guy. And she'll have
- 57:55Speaker 2: all the kids and do her thing. And, yeah, she's
- 58:00Speaker 2: living what she sings.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Get them off. And she really is pregnant because that
- 58:04Speaker 3: was the thing after the trial. Remember, she did a
- 58:06Speaker 3: press conference. And they were like, so Cardi, are you pregnant?
- 58:09Speaker 3: And she got mad and she like threw a pen
- 58:11Speaker 3: at them. And I was like, that's probably not the
- 58:13Speaker 3: best look because you just got off on your last
- 58:15Speaker 3: case where you were accused of beating the security guard.
- 58:19Speaker 3: She was funny in that trial, though. Like she really
- 58:22Speaker 3: is just she's one person that like fame really hasn't changed.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Like she's still she's not trying to curate herself. She's
- 58:28Speaker 3: not trying to like.
- 58:29Speaker 2: And I mean, she was she was just on a
- 58:32Speaker 2: reality show, right?
- 58:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:33Speaker 2: And on that reality show, was she an aspiring rapper
- 58:36Speaker 2: at that time? And so someone that just really took that,
- 58:42Speaker 2: had actual talent, and went for it. And good for her.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Good for her. Bravo just announced Summer House spinoff. It's
- 58:53Speaker 2: called In the City. So people have been asking for
- 58:55Speaker 2: this for years. once the summer house people end their
- 58:59Speaker 2: summer house tenure, why don't we see them living their
- 59:03Speaker 2: life in the city? And so I think it's a
- 59:06Speaker 2: good idea. But Paige, I guess, won't be part of that.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Or will she?
- 59:11Speaker 3: No, it's Lindsay, Kyle and Amanda, and then Andrea. They're
- 59:15Speaker 3: bringing him back into the mix. He was the hot
- 59:17Speaker 3: Italian guy.
- 59:19Speaker 2: So no Carl.
- 59:20Speaker 3: No Carl.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Did you see that? It looked like the place is done.
- 59:23Speaker 2: The soft bar. Already?
- 59:26Speaker 3: Well, this is like his fourth bar.
- 59:28Speaker 2: That you started to do the no alcohol?
- 59:30Speaker 3: Well, not no alcohol. The other ones had alcohol and
- 59:32Speaker 3: now it's no alcohol. I don't like the idea of
- 59:34Speaker 3: a no alcohol bar. I just think it's boring. Go
- 59:38Speaker 3: to a coffee shop.
- 59:40Speaker 2: I actually was shitting on it and now I think
- 59:43Speaker 2: it's possible it could do something. It just has to
- 59:46Speaker 2: be a good restaurant.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all it needs to be.
- 59:49Speaker 2: I mean, as long as you have really good food
- 59:51Speaker 2: and you have tons of like meet and greet activities
- 59:55Speaker 2: for young people. It has to be a place that
- 59:57Speaker 2: you go to. to meet other people that are sober
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: or want to be sober. And that's the way I
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: would make it. I'd have something every night, like the trivia,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: the this, the that, even different games. And I'd have
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: like healthy, inexpensive food and just get people in there
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: and out. Like turn the tables over. Like that's the
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: only way you're going to make money.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Yeah, but you need like a lot of financing to
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: keep it alive because it's going to struggle for a minute.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: And I don't think he has the, Because he hasn't
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: had a successful bar. I know he's tried in the past,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: but I don't think he can. I mean, getting a
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: bar or a restaurant off in Los Angeles or New York,
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: like that's a really hard thing to do. So hard,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: you know, and so expensive.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: I'm surprised something about her. I mean, I think they're
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: trying to stretch that as long as they can, but
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: I don't know how many bologna sandwiches Katie can keep making.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: I just, I don't know how that place is still open. Um, well,
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: it's only been a year. I'm sure they have like
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: a two year lease, so they'll probably try to write
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: it out as long as they can, but it's really
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: hard to build something. Like Lisa Vanderpump at least had
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: a lot of money and she'd been experienced in building
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: up restaurants and whatnot.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: But even she is smart enough to know that her
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: ventures are now going to be in a state that,
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you know, is an easier state to do business in
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: being Nevada.
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: And there are cocktail bars where they have like four
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: items of food. They don't need a big hot oven.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: They don't need, you know, people have their one $ 25 drink,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: take their photos, tag it and leave.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Exactly what you want.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: And she went to Vegas where they're big on novelty.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Like when you go to Vegas, you go to all the.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Go to the M & M store and you get
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: a Vanderpump cocktail.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: You get your photo and like and there's always foot
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: traffic in Vegas for that type of stuff.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: It's genius.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: It's smart. Carl trying to launch his own bar in
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: New York is not really the vibe.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I mean, I yeah, I think it's I just don't
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: like to be like a negative Nelly. Who knows? He bugs.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: I've been waiting. I still think.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Are you going to buy his book? Eat my cake?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Suck my dick.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Isn't that his book? He has like a book come
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: out and he has like cake all over his face
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: on the cover and it's like, eat my cake or
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: let's eat cake or something. And people are like, is
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: this his coming out book?
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: It's got to be. It's got to be. I think
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: just like Sheena held the secret of Brock cheating, I
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: think whoever his publisher is, is like, if you can
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: not come out until the book comes out and we
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: will send the book out with a missing chapter.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: And people will order it, order it, order it. And
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: then that week that it launches, people will say, oh,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: my God, this is coming out. And then that chapter
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: was so beautiful and da-da-da-da.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: He's going to get the GLAAD Awards.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: And then, yeah. And then there you go.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: Gay of the Year.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Like Colton Underwood, when he came out. Remember when he
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: came out gay?
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Yeah. He's a dad now.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a husband and a dad.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: And hosts that show about the virgins with, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: There's a dating show him and Caitlin Bristow have. But
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: I think it's all heterosexual virgins. I don't even know.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: It's a dating, like a young virgin show. Okay. And
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: I should have hosted that show. I was an old
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: virgin who dated all the time and dry humped my
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: way through Hollywood. But I think, wouldn't it be interesting
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: if like he wasn't, but he just like had to
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: sell the book?
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Well, people are like, did Brock really cheat on Sheena? Yeah.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: I mean, do you think she's on the Valley this season?
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Because I haven't seen her film anything. I've seen Lala
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: around at events and with Janet, but I haven't seen
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Sheena around anything.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: So I saw Lala, you know, rebranded.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Untraditionally Lala.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Untraditionally Lala. Her brother, who's been the co-host for like
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: a couple years, apparently is not going to be part
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: of it. At least not on air. Maybe he's just producing.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: And I mean, in her case, I think people are like,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: this isn't a good idea. I'm like, I think sometimes
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: you got to switch it up. And I think like maybe,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: you know, being like the mom of the two and
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: wanting to kind of get away with that. Now, she
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: seems to be at all the events, but she's definitely
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: filming it. And for some reason, Sheena is not. And
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: I thought Sheena was like definitely going to be on
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: the valley. But maybe they'll bring her and there'll be
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: some big moment or whatever. I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: We'll see. What's Jax doing? Is he still giving advice
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: to women?
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: I think all his projects ended. His tour ended. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: think his podcast might be on pause. I don't know
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: what his bar is gone. I don't know what he's doing.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: What's your prediction for him?
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: I could see him getting like a lucrative OnlyFans deal
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: and just leaning into that.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: He's going to get desperate at some point. And they OnlyFans.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: And what's the other one? There's another company that made
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: like Tom Sandoval really big deal. I know OnlyFans offered
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: Erica to join when she was like at the midst
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: of her scandal.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: And what did she know?
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: No, she didn't. Oh. She didn't do it. They made
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: her a big offer.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: And what was the Tom Sandoval deal?
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: Cam Soda, I think is what it's called. Okay. They're
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: like another adult film.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Competing with the OnlyFans?
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Yeah. And I remember they made him like a really
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: big deal or offer to like, if you come on
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: our site, this is, you know, we'll pay you like
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: a million dollars.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: And he didn't. That was during Sandoval. But yeah, he
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: didn't take that offer. Oh my God.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: You think he regrets it?
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: Well, no, he has a band on America's Got Talent.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: He's killing it.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: What are you talking about? I think reality stars more
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: than anybody else has to make that money when they
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: can make it.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Because it is fleeting. And it's like, I mean, if
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: it's not something that's... you know, really against your morals
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: or whatever, I say, do it all.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: Do it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Whatever it is. Go on the band on tour. Go
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: on the stand-up comedy tour when you aren't funny. Do whatever.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Make all the money you can make because eventually it
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: will dry up and people will stop going.
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: I think Jax would actually do well on OnlyFans. Like,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: even though people hate him, I think people would absolutely,
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: the gays would all subscribe to him. And listen, Denise
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Richards makes a lot of money on OnlyFans and she
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: gives everything. You see Both sets of lips. Like, she
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: gives a lot on OnlyFans. I ranked all of the
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: different OnlyFans from the different housewives and reality stars, and
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: hers was the best bang for your buck.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: In your opinion, you did a whole thing. Give me
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: some others that are doing it, that are doing it right.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: Brandy's wasn't great. She didn't really give anything.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I feel like she wouldn't be consistent in the posting. Yeah. Oh, Chad.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: Johnson from The Bachelor. Bad Chad. His is really good.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: He does everything.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: He even does like anal now.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Oh, he's gay too?
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: No.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: Oh. He's straight, but he doesn't do anal with other men.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: I think like with toys and stuff.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: To himself?
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: And then he like does stuff with other women. I'm
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: telling you. Chad and Denise Richards.
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: Are the two.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: What season was Chad on?
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Oh, I don't remember.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Chad Johnson, he also did like Famously Single. Like he
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: did a lot of those other realities. He's the one
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: that got upset with Chris Harrison.
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: And he was fighting with Chris and he's like, look
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: at you guys ruined my reputation so bad. Now I'm
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: on OnlyFans. Chris, you should come on OnlyFans too. Like
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: he was just like a disaster on The Bachelor, which
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: I'm excited for Taylor Freaky.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Are there any other housewives? Like is Dorinda still on OnlyFans?
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: She did it for a hot second and it was
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: like cooking videos. I was like showing her Halloween decorations.
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: People are so mad that she did that. Sonia did
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: that for a hot second. Brandy has hers. Larsa has hers.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Larsa's is sexy, right? Larsa didn't really show any. Like,
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: it's lingerie. Lingerie and hear my feed and, like, but
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: she doesn't show.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: And then you have to, like, pay more for her
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: to have a robot talk to her.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Or have, like, a boy from the Philippines.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Yeah. I love that she's, like, unapologetic about it.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: Okay. Okay.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: They're going to do a wife swap show with four housewives.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: It's Melissa, Emily, Dr. Wendy from Atlanta. Who's the fourth?
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: Angie Kay.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: And Angie Kay from Salt Lake City. And I thought
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: when I saw the trailer, I thought they were going
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: to switch with each other. And I was like, oh,
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: that's kind of fun. And no, they each switch with
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: a real wife. So again, it's going to be, talk
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: about schtick. Because I know people that did the original,
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: and it's super fake. And instead of it being a week,
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: it's like two weeks.
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: Days.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: 48 hours.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: And you sleep at a hotel and you don't sleep
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: early at the house. And, you know, they plan out
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: all the stuff and whatever. And so maybe it won't
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: be as fake. But obviously it's going to be fake. Okay,
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: get in your highest heels to milk the cow, you know,
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: and fall over.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Well, I think it would be more fake because it's
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: only 48 hours. So they only have a 48-hour window.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Oh, it is only a 48-hour thing.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Yeah, these housewives, they only are there, I think, for
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: like two days.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: But then they have to cram everything into those two days.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: And still have like the sad moment.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: See, the thing that people don't realize what was good
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: about housewives is that, I mean, wife swap, is there
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: was this thing where In the end, they would like
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: kind of give their advice. So if they were like
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: a super liberal mom with like a conservative, they would
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: be like kind of learn from each other. They'd be
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: like a little bit of a moment like that. But
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: a lot of those people that were on that show
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: are real fucked up today. Yeah. Like they found fucked
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: up people. And then being on that episode that was
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: millions watched it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: It is big.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: 15 years ago when there wasn't a ton of TV.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: So like everybody watched it. And then they did Celebrity
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: Wife Swap.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Oh, I remember that. With like Flava Flav.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: And Corey Feldman was like totally furious of how he
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: was portrayed. Then the stars. There was Jermaine Jackson.
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: And like, yeah. But no, I think it's a good idea.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Of course, I would do it if I was asked.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: I don't love the women that they chose, though. Like
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: I would have liked to have seen like star power,
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: you know? Who's the star power? Actually, Shannon Medora would
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: have been a good choice. Shannon Medora would have been good.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Teresa Giudice would have been good.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Like, the bigger, like, when they did Ultimate Girl Trip
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Season 1, that was, like, the big ones. They had Kenya,
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: they had Kyle, they had Teresa, they had Melissa.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: Do you think they didn't ask Teresa, or do you
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: think somehow Bravo were like, these are the ones you
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: could have? I think Bravo might have been like, you
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: could have these ones and not these ones.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: Probably to build these ones up.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Which then makes me think.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: Which then makes me think because they were kind of
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: like the side character. Like they need to now Dr.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: Wendy kind of needs to be in the forefront because
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: they lost so much of the original. They lost Candace
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: and Monique. Good point. Emily, I'm sure they're planning on
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: keeping around. Melissa, I would imagine, is going to be
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: part of the reboot. Like there's a reason they picked
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: these four. Angie Kay, I'm sure, is going to be
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: prominent on Salt Lake City this season. And they're building
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: the show around her now, making her the center character.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: the center snowflake. So I think they intentionally were using
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: this to build up these four.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Genius.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Okay. Another genius thing. Kris Jenner freaks out over leaked
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: Mac campaign photos. She's absolutely going to take you all out.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: And I don't know which one she's mad about, the
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: black and white or the other one.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: I think the black and white. I think that's like
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: a leaked untouched version that came out.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Okay, I think this is all a fake thing. This
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: is all a fake thing to get people to talk
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: about it, and she's in on it, and it's a
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: genius marketing plan.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Because even that photo looks photoshopped. It looks like it's
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: been retouched.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Why would you be mad? It's still really good. Like,
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: shut up. Yeah, so I think that was all fake.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: The New Jersey, we were just talking about New Jersey reboot.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: We don't know what's going on with that. What about
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: the Roni reboot? That they're going to save, like, Aaron and... Jenna, Jen,
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Jen Lyons.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: It's Erin, Psy.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Jenna Lyons.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: And Jessel. And Jenna Lyons is a maybe. I don't
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: think she's confirmed yet. But I know Erin, Psy, and
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Jessel are the three. Those were the only three that
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: I thought had the strongest... And they.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Actually like get along and have like a friendship.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: Erin's the strongest on the cast. I think she has
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: the most like housewife potential. She just didn't have anybody
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: else to really work off of. You know, she didn't
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: have any good foil to really bring out, you know,
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: the best parts of her. Sia I always thought was
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: really strong because she was really polarizing and the audience
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: kind of loved, hated her. Everyone really loved Jess, who
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: I just kind of thought was a bit overrated.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Talk about that guy trying to be funny all the time,
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: the husband.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: So I mean, I can't I can't I don't care
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: who comes on.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: I just I don't know.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: I don't know how much more I can take.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: I don't think I can do a third season. Like
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: because it's not even like like at least what you
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: used to do. And just like that, like it was
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: so bad that it was enjoyable to make fun of.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: You still loved the people.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: And I'm like, I just don't feel like anyone ever
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: hooked in. Like if if there is a reboot, truly
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: of the oldies, like, you know, like. Dorinda and all that,
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: we will watch it.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Even if it's boring, even if it's not that good,
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: like we will just watch it because they are, they
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: are them. Like they just, they just say we want,
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: like they, they were great because they would say things
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: that were coming from a point of view of a
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: privileged person living in a bubble that thought they were
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: being nice. And, you know, like, I can just think
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: of all the golden moments of like when, when Countess Luanne,
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Went to talk to like these underprivileged girls about being
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: a model. And she was like, oh, you're tall now.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: If you watch your diet, maybe you could also be
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: a model one day. It could happen. I know it's
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: not likely, but it could happen. You're like, what?
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: Losing weight is the easy part. I was like, what?
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Like all of it's so great. And people don't. And
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: that's the thing. You can say inappropriate, offensive things and
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: you can still sell out a theater singing your karaoke song.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: You know, like like you can do it because you
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: stuck to who you are. You didn't veer off. You
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: didn't act like that wasn't you. You didn't say you like. Yeah,
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: I did. I did. Whatever. Am I proud of it? No.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: It's not my greatest moment, but I was living in
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: the moment doing a reality TV and I was a
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: fucking countess who was rich in New York. So yeah,
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: this is how I saw the world.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: I think it's because they used to find these women
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: that were just so out of touch with reality. And
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: that's what was so interesting about OC and New York
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: in the beginning is like these women had no concept
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: of real life. Whereas I feel like the newer women
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: that get cast on these shows are trying so hard
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: to become a caricature of They're trying so hard to
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: give us moments and to give us bits and to
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: deliver lines. Whereas like the real good, like the Luann,
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: like Luann is just as delusional now as she was
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: when she first joined the show. And you put her
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: back on TV and it's still going to give us everything.
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: Same thing with Ramona. Like Ramona is still so kooky
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: and wacky. And, you know, is like they're just they're
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: great televisions.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Well, we're going to end it on just reminding everybody
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: that I will be November 14th, 10 p.m. at the
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: MGM Grand. That is BravoCon weekend. I will be there
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: that Friday night, 10 p.m., that show. We are down
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: to the last little bit of tickets. So get your
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: tickets now. And I've heard from people that are like,
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: I'm going to go, but we're not going to BravoCon,
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: but we want to see Bravo celebrities and where should
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: we stay and all that type of stuff. And that
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: is going to be really fun. So, you know, if
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: you didn't get the tickets or you don't want it,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: you're just going to go do one day. Of course,
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: if you can afford to do all three days, it's great.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: I think personally, I've said as a doing a lot.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: It's a lot, even for a fan. And so I
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: think the ideal thing is come to my thing Friday,
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: maybe do the day Saturday, then fucking recap at the
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: spa and brunch on Sunday and laugh your ass off.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: And like... You won't feel, like, super overwhelmed. But do
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: whatever you can do. But just go to this show.
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: I think that'll be my plan.
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: I'll be there that weekend for— I' m seeing Donnie, and they're
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: doing their new kids' residency. So I'm going to be
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: in Vegas that weekend.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Oh, that'll—see, that's another thing. You could do that one night, too.
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: I think I'm going Thursday.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: You know, and really kind of get a whole Vegas weekend,
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: not just a BravoCon. It's whatever you want.
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: I think that's more fun. Because, like, here's the— even the
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: last BravoCon, I didn't go to BravoCon, but I did
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: all the parties.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Wait, watch this.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: Paid me at the last minute to come in and
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: to fly into Vegas and do a stand-up activation with them.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: And I did. And I was like, I don't even
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: need to go to BravoCon because there are so many
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: parties and side events and after parties and all these
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: things that you still get to do all that really
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: fun stuff. But I agree. Pick one day to do
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: BravoCon and... Just to.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Do it and see all like the, you know, the
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: outfits and all that kind of stuff. I think that's
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: super fun. But, you know, but if you're not right
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: near the thing, it's kind of, it is a challenge
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: to get there sometimes. So you might want to then
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: pick a hotel. You can do this one where then
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: you go to have a cute dinner, go to my
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: show that night. Next day, do the BravoCon, go to
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: the Spirit of Sea, you know, or whatever. Or also,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: I think some of those events, like the live Watch
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: What Happens Live, they're separate tickets, right? So you could
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: just do that. There's a lot you could do, but
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: it will be fun. But you got to start planning
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: it now, girls, because I know you've got kids and
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: sitters and, you know, ex-husbands and husbands to deal with
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: and girlfriends and wives and everything else. So figure it out.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Go to heathermcdonald.net. And of course, if you're not following Zach,
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: you need to, because he really delivers the It's so well,
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: all the juice and explains it well. He doesn't fuck
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: up facts like I sometimes do. So tell everybody where
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: they can find you.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: Yeah. No Filter with Zach Peter streams Monday through Friday
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: on all podcast platforms. You can watch on YouTube and
