0:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, my name is offense fans.
0:21
[SPEAKER_02]: How are you today?
0:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And thank you for listening to this fish tank cross over Fish tank dolphins talk cross over there.
0:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I go.
0:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I got to do those two.
0:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't forget to often talk.
0:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't forget to often talk to the Lord and his Tuesday October 6th Mike Seth O. J.
0:36
[SPEAKER_02]: The gangs all here talk about what happened this past week.
0:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Look forward a little bit.
0:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, so luck.
0:43
[SPEAKER_02]: We're getting closer to when I think we're getting closer to past two games.
0:49
[SPEAKER_02]: We're in it into the fourth quarter.
0:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a lot to talk about.
0:53
[SPEAKER_02]: But I think the title of this show is I think the hot topic is Willis.
0:58
[SPEAKER_02]: And I know Seth, I spoke to you a little bit.
1:00
[SPEAKER_02]: We're more on the same page here.
1:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I've been on this page a past couple of weeks.
1:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I think some fans are giving them too much of a rough time here.
1:07
[SPEAKER_02]: It's four games.
1:09
[SPEAKER_02]: He's only got 10 starts now, total in the NFL.
1:12
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not like he's surrounded by duper,
1:19
[SPEAKER_02]: So Seth, what are your thoughts here?
1:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Our fans are fans, that all.
1:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Some fans are they giving them too much of a hard time?
1:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there are a lot that are.
1:28
[SPEAKER_01]: They're definitely are.
1:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of got into it a little bit on Twitter yesterday and had a buddy of mine checking on me to make sure I was okay.
1:36
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm fine, but I'm like, where is the perspective?
1:41
[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, my whole position is,
1:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Does it need to be better?
1:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
1:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Like if we're trying to make a determination, if Malik willus is the quarterback of the future, if he is someone that can grow into becoming the franchise quarterback, you cannot make that decision yet.
1:59
[SPEAKER_01]: But there are people who have made that decision,
2:05
[SPEAKER_01]: And, and I think that it's far too soon to do that, I also think that it's short-sighted.
2:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is the man working with right now?
2:13
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's his top three receivers, or you could three of his top four, you know, wherever you want to place Malik Washington.
2:20
[SPEAKER_01]: They are rookies.
2:22
[SPEAKER_01]: One of them is injured, and the player, you know, in Caleb Douglas, who's been the most productive,
2:27
[SPEAKER_01]: wide out on the team since the preseason hasn't even played in two weeks and you know we've got another guy there's Coleman how many catches is Coleman half I mean it's at a hard time yeah I really got a catch as it had a lot thrown to him but and which is I guess it was one that everybody wanted to throw in him and that's part of the conversation and Chris Bell who's had these flashes and make things exciting
2:50
[SPEAKER_01]: To me, he's still dragging around that one leg, and he's, I don't know who was at fault juice, the previous week with the illegal shift.
2:58
[SPEAKER_01]: If anybody, maybe it was the official's at fault, I don't know what that was, and then he stepped out of bounds, and those are two touchdowns that were taken away from Malik Wilson's total.
3:09
[SPEAKER_01]: So everyone's throwing Malik Wilson's stats at me, and they're telling me, oh, you're saying, if, and what, and if my aunt had this, and my grandmother had that, and I'm like, wait a minute.
3:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, well, as did these things.
3:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, like, well, as created the opportunity for Chris Bell to score, that could have been the deciding points to get the Miami Dolphins of first victory of the 2026 season.
3:30
[SPEAKER_01]: It was an incredible play the way he escaped.
3:32
[SPEAKER_01]: It was, and I know we don't like this guy in Dolphins lore.
3:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But it was a Josh Allen type play, right?
3:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Avoid all of the pressure.
3:40
[SPEAKER_01]: You're running out of bounds to his right.
3:42
[SPEAKER_01]: He's something up and finds a guy who, you know, in a broken play.
3:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And we've seen Josh Allen do that to us and to other teams.
3:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Our guy did it.
3:51
[SPEAKER_01]: But our guy also stepped out of bounds and somehow all of the sudden, Malik Willis' rating plummets 40 something points as a result, and we don't think that he played well.
4:00
[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think it was like, hold on for a second.
4:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Take a deep damn breath, and maybe let's see how things develop because this was not a season where you had playoff aspirations going into it.
4:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no playoff aspirations obviously.
4:15
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I get what you're saying there, big Seth.
4:19
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of things that are going on with this football team that are just, I think buzzers luck as well, you know, the toenail out of bounds, the shift we talked about a little bit, I mean, the shift itself.
4:32
[SPEAKER_00]: You could put it on the young guy, or you could put it on a three-year guy in Washington, you know, Malik had to try to get, you know, Chris, Chris, but you know, try to get Chris Bell out to where he needs to be.
4:44
[SPEAKER_00]: But Malik Washington has to hold on a second there.
4:49
[SPEAKER_00]: And then we get a touchdown two weeks ago.
4:51
[SPEAKER_00]: Now you look at the toe out of bounds here.
4:53
[SPEAKER_00]: We're like, oh, you got to have awareness.
4:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Get we have no idea how hard there's to be aware when you're on the field and scrambles real.
4:59
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you just bust in your butt to give a guy an opportunity to find you.
5:04
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the say has to have awareness.
5:06
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's out by like a toenail.
5:08
[SPEAKER_00]: It just drives me crazy in your right.
5:10
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's a few plays there
5:13
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, for me, I call it both as luck because if that doesn't happen, pass the rating, everything changes big stuff.
5:20
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, instead of things changing, we're in a game that we can possibly have a chance to win.
5:25
[SPEAKER_00]: So there's all kinds of things that happen there.
5:27
[SPEAKER_00]: But don't, don't sit here and be like, I look at this thing as, what Malie Willis was able to do as a quarterback.
5:36
[SPEAKER_00]: The quarterbacks you've had for the last decade, and no stock, all in all.
5:43
[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't try to pull it off, they might make some throws down the field that we're missing right now.
5:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
5:48
[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking about scalability, avoiding stacks.
5:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I told somebody other data, two would have been 10 times in that game.
5:55
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
5:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's just that easy, bro.
5:57
[SPEAKER_00]: So.
6:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Does he have to clean some things up?
6:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
6:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sitting here saying he's playing in great game.
6:04
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, obviously, well, 50% from the field won't touch down to his substance.
6:09
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not going to work in NFL.
6:11
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's a time mill.
6:13
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to have some, something the only sense of going with some of the guys or supporting cast that aren't there to help him out.
6:18
[SPEAKER_00]: So, Malik has a step his game up.
6:20
[SPEAKER_00]: He has some, he has to,
6:24
[SPEAKER_00]: make it so that dolphins don't draft a quarterback in the first round and so far he's not doing that you know, but I still got to give you more time to show that he can't be that guy that they don't have to do that.
6:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me say we're in thing real quick because what you said juice is 100% right and that's really the heart of this conversation and why fans are being so hard on Willis.
6:45
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not so much the wins and losses.
6:47
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit of that.
6:48
[SPEAKER_02]: It's more about the draft.
6:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's got their eye on the draft already.
6:52
[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know how many of these people on social media or fans that often actually watch college football right now.
6:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Cause if you watch here the first four games in Fels, they're like five or six in college, cause they're one week ahead or so.
7:06
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no quarterback right now as of today who's going to get picked at the top around one.
7:11
[SPEAKER_02]: And that could still change.
7:12
[SPEAKER_02]: It's only October six.
7:14
[SPEAKER_02]: But archmaning hasn't been, he's been good.
7:17
[SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't been great to go top around one and plus there's a chance he'd go back to run.
7:20
[SPEAKER_02]: You may not have a goal.
7:21
[SPEAKER_02]: He'd go back to college, that's number one.
7:24
[SPEAKER_02]: More just was on the field in the fencing position and probably never going to take another snap to get an organ.
7:30
[SPEAKER_02]: So does that hurt his value for going top around one?
7:32
[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to scare a lot of teams.
7:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Would probably scare the money to me dolphin, stay up there for everything.
7:35
[SPEAKER_02]: They just went, you got to move.
7:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Try convincing Steve Ross that you need to go to the lab directly.
7:40
[SPEAKER_01]: That ain't happening.
7:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck with that.
7:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And then you got men's up.
7:43
[SPEAKER_02]: That's has been fantastic, but we also got to be honest about this.
7:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Throw into Malkai Tony against God awful teams.
7:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Really isn't impressing me much.
7:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I got to be honest.
7:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me see what he does against Notre Dame though.
7:54
[SPEAKER_02]: One real team.
7:55
[SPEAKER_02]: He's got to play this year.
7:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see what he does in the playoffs.
7:57
[SPEAKER_02]: And for everyone, he says he's a top five pick.
7:59
[SPEAKER_02]: If you take him to quarterback top five, it's got to be a slam dunk.
8:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Trinidad is a ruthless, Ole Miss is great.
8:06
[SPEAKER_02]: He's really five, 11, like 190.
8:08
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not top around one and it's a guy late round one round two or round three that you can take a flutter on mitigate your risk There's not a quarterback right now.
8:17
[SPEAKER_02]: You got CJ car maybe we got to see a little more.
8:21
[SPEAKER_02]: You got the kid from Ohio state Julie and say it maybe you got to see more maybe, but I don't think any of these guys are top around one So this is the point dolphins fans the ones who just want to move on say just take anybody
8:35
[SPEAKER_02]: There's just nobody to take.
8:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But how do you move on after four games?
8:38
[SPEAKER_01]: But you're not going to move on at this stand.
8:40
[SPEAKER_02]: They signed up for two years essentially.
8:42
[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to get two years.
8:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And I know it's going to drive some dolphins fans, nuts.
8:47
[SPEAKER_02]: But that's the reality of this.
8:49
[SPEAKER_02]: And they're going to have to learn to accept it at some point, because he's going to get all this year.
8:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's going to get all next to your probably, too, because there's just no one to take to opera.
8:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they take one around, too.
8:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they take one around three.
9:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they take back in late round one, take one.
9:02
[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
9:02
[SPEAKER_02]: But that guy's not going to come in and start day one.
9:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
9:05
[SPEAKER_02]: How this league works.
9:06
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not.
9:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's so that's the other part of this.
9:08
[SPEAKER_01]: You get any rookie quarterback.
9:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, in less every now and then, but I go look at painting manning's rookie year for because they're like, like, you look at Troy.
9:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
9:34
[SPEAKER_01]: and he didn't start right away and there's a lot of reasons why but but there's it's just not going to happen and I have people tweeting at me saying he's got one year to prove himself he's got thirteen more teams but maybe you maybe you
9:49
[SPEAKER_01]: making the decisions, and I'm going to take this my new favorite line.
9:54
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to use this for every damn thing.
9:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm stealing it right from Coach Jeff Halfley.
9:59
[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't like it, go talk to Sully, because that's who they invested in.
10:04
[SPEAKER_01]: The Malik Willis is their guy and it wasn't just a flyer.
10:08
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like they said we need to impress the new boss.
10:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's find who the hot guy is.
10:13
[SPEAKER_01]: They said we spent the last two years watching this guy and determining that if we were building the team, this is a quarterback that we want and we're going to get him at a bargain price, which I know those numbers.
10:25
[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard for like the last thing I mean, I'm trying to figure out how to pay my credit card bill.
10:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hard going to get a 40 mile guarantee.
10:33
[SPEAKER_01]: for a quarter back in the National Football League.
10:37
[SPEAKER_01]: That is a mid-level contract, right?
10:39
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, for a starting quarterback to sign a new contract in 2026, that is a fair price.
10:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And if he becomes the quarterback that they believe he can be, it is a bargain.
10:51
[SPEAKER_01]: and if he becomes a quarterback that they have to move on from at some point, it's not going to cripple the franchise in the way that the guy that my man, Tyler Durden is in here going nuts in that he's going nuts in the chat.
11:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, Tyler, the reason your team looks the way it looks, the reason Malik Willis is holding on to the ball, the reason they can't score, the reason they're going for is because of that
11:20
[SPEAKER_01]: The facts are the fact to ain't playing for Atlanta right now either.
11:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Like to is not playing ball.
11:25
[SPEAKER_01]: He was not the quarterback for this team coming in the 2026.
11:29
[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't like the Malik Willas choice, you're entitled that opinion.
11:32
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't going to be too under any circumstance.
11:35
[SPEAKER_01]: And that contract has left dolphin fans in the mess that they're dealing with right now.
11:41
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it makes that also, you mean, fired up.
11:45
[SPEAKER_00]: It was more than, you know, it was, it was half in Sully on the, on the Willis deal.
11:50
[SPEAKER_01]: That was a percent, but you know, don't talk to Sully Sully.
11:53
[SPEAKER_01]: You're good.
11:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Go talk to Sully.
11:54
[SPEAKER_00]: I get that.
11:55
[SPEAKER_00]: But half saw him too, half saw him running their offense or the other things often, it's the whole time.
12:01
[SPEAKER_00]: And how effective he was.
12:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, me, I, I hate happened to hypothetical.
12:05
[SPEAKER_00]: So I, I, I hate the what is, you know what I mean?
12:08
[SPEAKER_00]: But what is?
12:10
[SPEAKER_00]: He had tyree and water out there running around, you know, I mean, what if he had got, said we're running wide open?
12:17
[SPEAKER_00]: What if, you know, right tackles have been good one out of four games and not, you know, the rest of the season.
12:23
[SPEAKER_00]: There's something you what have sought to, what if eight chance now?
12:26
[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many things you can talk about, but this is football.
12:28
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can't talk about what is.
12:29
[SPEAKER_00]: What you do have is a young group of guys out there trying to help a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
12:35
[SPEAKER_00]: a brand new starter, honestly, in football, at quarterback in NFL, you go out there and try to be successful.
12:41
[SPEAKER_00]: So, anybody thinks that, any of these other guys going to come in?
12:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Especially next year, like we talked about, rookie quarterbacks don't fare what NFL.
12:49
[SPEAKER_00]: They just do not, and they will not.
12:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care what anybody says.
12:53
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I don't care what anybody says.
12:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Look, we look at Drake May, what's Drake May's year?
12:57
[SPEAKER_00]: This is what, third year now?
12:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Third year?
13:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
13:01
[SPEAKER_00]: rookie year wasn't very good, wasn't it?
13:03
[SPEAKER_00]: That's your better, right?
13:05
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you've been now, and now this year is very good.
13:09
[SPEAKER_02]: I was coming back to the middle, sorry.
13:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Right, from back to the mid, right, exactly.
13:13
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a woesie pick, pick three overall?
13:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Third, yep.
13:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
13:16
[SPEAKER_00]: So, so that I'm saying, man.
13:18
[SPEAKER_00]: So, look.
13:20
[SPEAKER_00]: We're strapped, we're so strapped, it's not your funny.
13:22
[SPEAKER_00]: But you got a quarterback and believe well, it's who hasn't performed like we'd love for him to perform.
13:28
[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, no, it can be so much worse than somebody else in there.
13:32
[SPEAKER_00]: And it would be worse if somebody else is in there right now, because we have no, no.
13:38
[SPEAKER_00]: We have nothing for these for this quarterback to go to no nobody in front of throw it to and then you lose a running game along the way it's going to be get about what's happening on the right with at the right tackle position.
13:56
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, yeah, I have an outstanding point to make, but first, I need everyone to go to calcium.com.
14:02
[SPEAKER_02]: You're a promo code dolphin stock to get $25,000,000, $3,000, $25,000, football seasons underway, time to see how your predictions are shaping up, who makes the playoffs, who wins their division, who takes on the title, calcium is America's number one prediction market platform, let you trade those predictions in a live market.

15:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just get it like we have watched you and this calcium read.
15:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a sell up much like I'm expecting Malik Willis to continue develop.
15:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, try to build that read.
15:18
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember you started Mike.
15:21
[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like when I listened to the radio and they speed it up, man.
15:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's impressive.
15:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I heard that it was uh, I was listening this weekend to five sixty.
15:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I think Tobin was reading pretty much the same thing.
15:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm reading and they sped it up.
15:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I want to speed up.
15:34
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to pre-record it to speed it up, brother.
15:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, you're doing it.
15:38
[SPEAKER_01]: So I have seen tremendous growth from week one to where we are now.
15:43
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not bad to you Mike.
15:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
15:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, here's my point.
15:46
[SPEAKER_02]: When, well, this was in Green Bay last year.
15:49
[SPEAKER_02]: everyone set and he got on the field for like three starts I think this guy sensational he's going to break the bank he's going to get all this money he should go to Pittsburgh and start for them he should go to Miami where he knows the coach he should go to the jets maybe everyone should want this guy well let's look who the packers had around him
16:06
[SPEAKER_02]: The head Christian Watson Romeo Dove Matthew Golden just Jacobs Tucker crap like loaded offensive line Luke Musgraves another tight on that offensive lines great wide receivers are great running backs great and that's not in this queue.
16:20
[SPEAKER_02]: That's just the reality of this league.
16:22
[SPEAKER_02]: You need weapons around a quarterback.
16:24
[SPEAKER_02]: right now he doesn't have him, but let's fast forward a little bit.
16:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Miami's got like a hundred something million to spend next for Asia, they're not going to spend it all, they're not going to go nuts.
16:33
[SPEAKER_02]: But what happens?
16:34
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a couple of free agents out there.
16:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say they go out there and sign Sam LaPorta.
16:38
[SPEAKER_02]: It's tight and the put with the tight ones they got.
16:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say they go out there and sign just one wide receiver in Joshua down.
16:44
[SPEAKER_02]: So go with the wide receiver.
16:45
[SPEAKER_02]: They got, let's say they're picking one.
16:47
[SPEAKER_02]: They take Jeremiah Smith on top of that too.
16:49
[SPEAKER_02]: You got Smith down.
16:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Bal, Caleb Douglas, Washington, A-Chainsback.
16:55
[SPEAKER_02]: All the Gordon's looking pretty good right now.
16:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Sam LaPorta and Greg Dolcech.
16:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I think we'll just look a little better in that group.
17:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Matt, absolutely.
17:02
[SPEAKER_02]: That's just with two signings in one draft.
17:05
[SPEAKER_00]: One draft pick.
17:06
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, yep, and no need to add.
17:09
[SPEAKER_00]: And on top of that, our deepest would be better that next year as well.
17:13
[SPEAKER_00]: On top of that, so you'll be able to invest on this offense in a defense that's going to be better.
17:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Our defense is going to be much better next year.
17:21
[SPEAKER_00]: So we got so many young guys that were counting on this year and they're getting valuable plenty of time.
17:25
[SPEAKER_00]: You got a solid defense that's been planted butts off.
17:28
[SPEAKER_00]: They've been doing as much they can, hold on as much they can.
17:32
[SPEAKER_00]: But for offense can, you know, can contribute.
17:34
[SPEAKER_00]: But if you can go and invest in an offense and put some weapons around that,
17:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, honestly, that's that's that's that's that's the blueprint right now.
17:43
[SPEAKER_00]: And you can also talk about this to Mike, and that's your just point.
17:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows if pocket doesn't bump the right tackle.
17:51
[SPEAKER_00]: We work on.
17:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Bring other guards, you know, the guards, it survived.
17:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's going to a serviceable job in this right guard, and we work at left guard.
17:58
[SPEAKER_00]: And then we got wow, we got the line we're looking for right there, bro.
18:02
[SPEAKER_00]: So even you to chill the hell out, man.
18:05
[SPEAKER_00]: just relax.
18:06
[SPEAKER_00]: We knew what this is going to be about this year, but that's still up and arms.
18:10
[SPEAKER_00]: It's ain't the guy who ever said it was going to be the guy who's got to prove that he's the guy.
18:15
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we said over and over again.
18:18
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to have like you guys said two years of prove that he is or isn't the guy.
18:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's it.
18:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And two, a lot of these fans prior to the year, like, just play Quinniers, let's tank at the top deck.
18:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, they're not doing that, obviously, they're not doing that.
18:31
[SPEAKER_02]: But these fans can't get through the first month of the year.
18:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, like, most of these fans don't have the stomach to take, not that they're tanking, they're not.
18:38
[SPEAKER_02]: But even, like, you're saying tank tank tank.
18:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so they're on four, which is the same, if you want them to take, you should be happy they're on four.
18:45
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have the stomach for it.
18:47
[SPEAKER_02]: That's like, that's why I just ignore social media these days.
18:50
[SPEAKER_02]: because here's a deal, like we've also had a hundred times.
18:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Willis is the guy this year in next and is he a long-term answer?
18:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe maybe not, I don't know.
19:01
[SPEAKER_02]: If I had to put down one dollar table, probably not, but a lot of time can change my mind.
19:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's give him some weapons.
19:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I put a dollar down now.
19:10
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not a big bet right here.
19:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you guys, that's not a big bet.
19:13
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not a big bet.
19:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Are you bad at he will or he won't?
19:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's a big bet.
19:18
[SPEAKER_00]: He's real for $1.
19:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I won't.
19:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I'm no, but my point is either way.
19:24
[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to get the time.
19:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Like this isn't Chris Greer.
19:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I hate to say that.
19:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Need your creation stuff for one year.
19:30
[SPEAKER_02]: It's F.D.M.Pix, one year or stockpiling picks.
19:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Next year, it's F.D.M.Pix to get.
19:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Sullivan's got a plan.
19:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah.
19:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a part of it.
19:39
[SPEAKER_02]: And Willis is for at least two years as a part of it, I think.
19:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if a quarterback, let's just say by magic archmaning mess maker is on or someone just the next eight weeks of college likes the world on fire and a skyrocket's that will have their conversation then one I don't think it's going to happen, but two.
19:59
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, this is it, guys, and, you know, some fans might not like it, but I don't know what your alternative is, and they kind of am a court.
20:08
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, I'm a serious guy, and they kind of am a court, and they kind of am a court.
20:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And I hope it's not by the way, because I've got a mountain do bet right now with one of those guys.
20:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to add it with him on Twitter.
20:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And he said by week eight, he said that Malice got four more weeks.
20:24
[SPEAKER_01]: He's got no Ben, week eight, no James.
20:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Help me, Belique Willis would not be this.
20:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I help me, Belique Willis would not be this.
20:33
[SPEAKER_00]: So, did you put that disclaimer in there, said?
20:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I hope he will.
20:38
[SPEAKER_01]: No, man.
20:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I just put the do out there for it.
20:40
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I went through this bet with two last year, and then I did, I just did.
20:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I told you.
20:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Wrong on that one.
20:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I saw that one coming.
20:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
20:48
[SPEAKER_01]: This is different.
20:48
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was so bad.
20:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
20:51
[SPEAKER_01]: All the people are talking about two.
20:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me about 120 touchdown passes and, and how he played against this team and and 2023.
21:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Two of was just got awful last year.
21:02
[SPEAKER_00]: He's been selling himself the last two years, bro.
21:05
[SPEAKER_01]: He was a shell of himself and he could not win the starting quarterback position in Atlanta against air.
21:16
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the same guy that you fell in love with in 2023 and that was a magical season for him and he deservedly made the pro ball and he factually led the league and Pat.
21:27
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not that guy right now and until he proves otherwise, he's not and he's expensive his hell to top it all off.
21:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know what people want after four games.
21:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I do wonder if Malik will as starts to become the quarterback that Sullivan and halfway believe he can be.
21:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And it starts to happen this season, you know, I'm not into screen shot and taking receipts and all that stuff.
21:52
[SPEAKER_01]: But I wonder how people are going to react.
21:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Are they just going to flip and fall?
21:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely.
21:57
[SPEAKER_02]: The same one traced the same ones and Twitter, who for years, two can do no wrong.
22:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he turned bad there.
22:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, see, I'm while I always know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
22:07
[SPEAKER_02]: We saw those, it's the same people look.
22:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't get it.
22:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't get it.
22:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And for most of these people, like I said, they went into this season, not wanting to tank, but like let's just get the first pick of the draft level, let's set in the other thing.
22:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, well, you kind of get your wishing, you're still mad.
22:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that that blows my mind.
22:24
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, he's not making so much on the cap for a quarterback again in contact, where it's like, it's going to hurt us long term, because it's not clearly.
22:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, it's just, it's crazy.
22:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to bring up one more topic here before we wrap up.
22:37
[SPEAKER_02]: two things actually.
22:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to do it real quick.
22:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Ali Gordon looks like the kid from Oklahoma state who we stole and round what's he has been absolutely fantastic.
22:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And I can just once again thinking big picture next year.
22:51
[SPEAKER_02]: HN and him as a one to punch might be lethal.
22:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that might be a lethal combination long term.
22:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I thought we were going to get this year.
22:57
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I know, and I know, but now he's got his opportunity and look, it's one game.
23:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, really, it's too, because he played pretty well for his chiefs too.
23:05
[SPEAKER_02]: He's making the most of it type of deal.
23:07
[SPEAKER_02]: That's one and two.
23:09
[SPEAKER_02]: They are making progress on defense.
23:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
23:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
23:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we're seeing some of those young kids start to play chop in a good game.
23:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I can take a couple of guys.
23:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.
23:18
[SPEAKER_02]: They took advantage of us.
23:19
[SPEAKER_00]: They took advantage of us.
23:20
[SPEAKER_02]: They took advantage of us.
23:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Because you're supposed to take advantage of it.
23:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And if they didn't, then I'd be worried.
23:24
[SPEAKER_02]: The fact they did is.
23:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Makes me happy.
23:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Chop look good.
23:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Zack Seeler look fantastic.
23:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Not really a shock.
23:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Um.
23:30
[SPEAKER_02]: to some of these young kids, Michael Taft, Jacob Rodriguez is, I mean, Seth, they know you don't like to compare since the Zach, I'm sorry, if you can play like this there's gonna be more comparisons to Zach.
23:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they're just growing on that side of the ball, hopefully continues this week, but those are two points you guys can sort of talk about.
23:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, I'll touch on the Audit Gordon thing there.
23:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the same way about Audit coming out when we drafted him bro.
23:53
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a great, great drafted.
23:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think this is exactly, this is exactly what half wants to do.
24:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Half wants to run this thing downhill.
24:03
[SPEAKER_00]: be a physical football team, you know, get those big boys out in front with a physical running bat.
24:09
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, that one, two parts like he talked about might, it's go, it's really, really special, man.
24:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I, I really liked that, man.
24:15
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I'll be getting an opportunity.
24:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be situation was the rock, holding on to the rocket times or whatever it might be.
24:21
[SPEAKER_00]: But when he's had these opportunities, he's been really, he's going to thrive in this situation.
24:28
[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's our RB1, this is valuable for him too, because for one metallic wise, he's feeling much better by himself getting these opportunities.
24:36
[SPEAKER_00]: And two, the more coach you get, the better you're going to get with this opportunity.
24:39
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're going to make sure they call plays that make it work for him.
24:43
[SPEAKER_00]: And going to this defense man, I mean, this defense is,
24:48
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to get better and better.
24:50
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just that's all it's going to do.
24:52
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to get worse because you got a bunch of young guys that are going to be in a system for a number of years.
24:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody always ask why is your Brian Flores defense so good?
25:01
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a bunch of guys that have been in a system for a long time.
25:05
[SPEAKER_00]: They know his system.
25:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Once they get what's half systems implemented on these with these young guys, what's how great our defense can be?
25:13
[SPEAKER_00]: And then whatever you got missing parts, you know me guys that aren't getting it done, safety corner, whatever it might be, they can move on for those guys and add parts that work.
25:22
[SPEAKER_00]: But our base guys, they're just special dudes, man.
25:25
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, you're right.
25:26
[SPEAKER_00]: But we got some things right there with that run game with Ollie coming in at young pieces.
25:32
[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to get better and better.
25:33
[SPEAKER_00]: And we can add pieces parts to both sides of the ball, bro.
25:38
[SPEAKER_00]: We're $180 million a day at cat money.
25:40
[SPEAKER_00]: But imagine what we can do with a couple bucks in our pocket.
25:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, say it.
25:45
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to get anything to add?
25:46
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, whatever it is, I just want to thank you guys for letting me back in the room here.
25:51
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I got Chris Perk, get that of this thing.
25:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was like, what happened here?
25:56
[SPEAKER_01]: But I know, I missed what the second topic was.
25:59
[SPEAKER_01]: I know we talked about Ali Gordon.
26:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I know we're going to talk about a lot of these things tomorrow night as well on Fish Tank Live.
26:05
[SPEAKER_01]: But chill out with the Malik Will is hate.
26:08
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not because I went to Liberty as somebody accused me of.
26:12
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not blazing.
26:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
26:15
[SPEAKER_01]: It's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all
26:37
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about what they would have won or wouldn't have won.
26:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying this would have been the result from League Wills' stat line.
26:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Chill out when it comes to the League Wills and let it happen.
26:49
[SPEAKER_01]: If you feel the same way at the end of the season as you feel now, then go get up and arms about whatever their first round draft pick is.
26:57
[SPEAKER_01]: And be prepared to be disappointed again, because they ain't drafted a quarter back in the first round.
27:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I can promise you that.
27:03
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I got.
27:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
27:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
27:05
[SPEAKER_00]: And I, and I'll leave it, I'll leave it with this and I'll let you close out my four teams we play right now, 15 to one.
27:13
[SPEAKER_00]: You do the math and make sure you carry the one, 15 to one, the teams we play so far.
27:18
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
27:18
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's only one loss because they want to have them play each other.
27:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they play each other.
27:21
[SPEAKER_01]: They're two of them play each other.
27:23
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
27:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Play each other.
27:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Now you got the Bengals coming in town.
27:25
[SPEAKER_02]: They're looking pretty good.
27:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I know they lost last week and they might be without one or each of their watery severs.
27:30
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk about that Wednesday.
27:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
27:31
[SPEAKER_02]: But, um,
27:33
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not a bad team either their solid team with a good quarterback.
27:36
[SPEAKER_02]: So, not going to get easier, but this Dolphins team, everyone said, for the year, rosters not the greatest.
27:42
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a developmental year.
27:44
[SPEAKER_02]: We're seeing the development and some Dolphins fans just are happy.
27:48
[SPEAKER_02]: But here's the deal.
27:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Can't make everyone happy.
27:50
[SPEAKER_02]: I've learned in life.
27:51
[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's all for today's show.
27:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Follow Seth.
27:54
[SPEAKER_02]: You want to fight with him on Twitter at the first take.
27:56
[SPEAKER_02]: You want to follow O.J.
27:58
[SPEAKER_02]: He can respond to you and Twitter is going to ignore you.
28:03
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to say that.
28:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you just joking around?
28:06
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just joking around.
28:08
[SPEAKER_02]: As I said last week I'm going to want to show you're the most accessible dolphins player out there to the fans.
28:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just joking around and yeah So keep listening and watching the Dolphin Sock YouTube channel will be back tomorrow night I'll be back real soon here with a Josh Moser from Channel 7 WSVN's number one new station and of course Biggie Ian Burger Everyone have a great night and we'll talk to you again after a while
