- 0:00Speaker 1: Yo, man, So let's get into this All Star weekend, man,
- 0:03Speaker 1: because a lot of people have had a lot of
- 0:06Speaker 1: opinions players.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I didn't even know it was on. Man.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hey, it's funny you say that, dog, because I literally
- 0:12Speaker 1: caught it in the middle of Saturday and I just
- 0:17Speaker 1: really threw it on while I was playing Call of Duty.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Like I didn't even hear that it was coming up,
- 0:22Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like I remember hearing about
- 0:23Speaker 1: the All Star selections and stuff like that. But and
- 0:27Speaker 1: it kind of leads into what the topic is. It's like, bro,
- 0:30Speaker 1: All Star Weekend been so trash lately, Bro that it's
- 0:34Speaker 1: so missible, Like people don't watch it, people don't care
- 0:36Speaker 1: about it. They mentioned how like Magic Johnson wasn't well.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Steven Ate Smith was talking about how Magic Johnson didn't
- 0:42Speaker 1: even pull up to an All Star Weekend when it's like.
- 0:44Speaker 3: A big yeah, get Kevin Hart yep, And like why
- 0:47Speaker 3: do you why do you think All Star Weekend is
- 0:49Speaker 3: so trash now? Is it because like the participation of
- 0:52Speaker 3: the NBA players or it's like nobody wants to get hurt?
- 0:56Speaker 2: Like why has the All Star NBA?
- 0:58Speaker 3: Especially NBA because that's the most one of the biggest
- 1:01Speaker 3: sports Like why has that All Star Weekend that was
- 1:04Speaker 3: so celebrated and so watched become such a low rated
- 1:08Speaker 3: show at this point.
- 1:09Speaker 1: So from stuff I've heard from players, like let's say
- 1:13Speaker 1: on podcasts or you know, just when they talk about
- 1:17Speaker 1: it and they ask them about it, All Star Weekend
- 1:20Speaker 1: to them is kind of like an inconvenience, like in
- 1:22Speaker 1: the middle of the season, everybody has to kind of
- 1:25Speaker 1: go somewhere, be there, do media xyz. It's kind of
- 1:29Speaker 1: like a thing that they don't look forward to because
- 1:32Speaker 1: of the way it kind of shapes out.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Would they rather take a break during that?
- 1:35Speaker 1: You think that they rather take like an actual break,
- 1:37Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And you know, you're in
- 1:40Speaker 1: the middle of the season, so people are not necessarily
- 1:42Speaker 1: in their best health. So like all the extra travel
- 1:46Speaker 1: and sit around all day and all that stuff. They
- 1:48Speaker 1: don't like it. All that pressure and the little the
- 1:50Speaker 1: little detail of you know, you can get hurt in
- 1:53Speaker 1: the All Star Game if you go too hard, you
- 1:54Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like you don't want to get
- 1:55Speaker 1: hurt in an All Star Game. And then you know,
- 1:57Speaker 1: you missed the playoffs because you was you scored eleven
- 2:00Speaker 1: points in an All Star Game, you know what I mean,
- 2:03Speaker 1: which I get, like it makes a lot of sense,
- 2:06Speaker 1: But you look at a sport like baseball, bro, where
- 2:09Speaker 1: the All Star Game actually has impact on the final
- 2:13Speaker 1: series of who determines to win it. You know what
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, it basically is saying this division is
- 2:20Speaker 1: going to get home field if you win the All
- 2:21Speaker 1: Star Game, whoever wins it, which I always thought was
- 2:24Speaker 1: a dope concept. I felt like the NBA should do
- 2:26Speaker 1: something like that, you know, just give the home field
- 2:30Speaker 1: to East or West depending on who wins the All
- 2:32Speaker 1: Star Game. That would be something. Though they don't want
- 2:34Speaker 1: to do it. I guess, cool whatever. I understand the
- 2:37Speaker 1: reason and behind that too. But at the end of
- 2:40Speaker 1: the day, Bro, it's like when you tune in to
- 2:43Speaker 1: the All Star Game and you see everybody giving half
- 2:47Speaker 1: ass effort, like not even almost trying. Bro, you just like,
- 2:52Speaker 1: if you don't care, why would I care?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:54Speaker 3: I mean, And let's skills competition, which is something that
- 2:58Speaker 3: is actually I enjoy to watch. You had Chris Paul
- 3:01Speaker 3: and Wemby finding the cheat code in order to just
- 3:05Speaker 3: just win the competition. Like the whole point of a
- 3:09Speaker 3: skills challenge is to be debt your skills or just
- 3:12Speaker 3: to showcase your skills. Our debut, showcase your skills, and
- 3:16Speaker 3: these guys found loophole, Like when you're supposed to do
- 3:19Speaker 3: the bounce pass, you do the chest pass, and you
- 3:21Speaker 3: go and you go to hit the three point racks,
- 3:23Speaker 3: they just threw the balls on the ground and just
- 3:25Speaker 3: kept going to finish the skills channel. Like why, Like
- 3:28Speaker 3: you're taking the fun away from the whole reason. People
- 3:30Speaker 3: are wanting to watch how good your skills are and
- 3:33Speaker 3: you're contesting them.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's funny because when I tuned in to the All
- 3:37Speaker 1: Star Game was well not the All Star Game, just
- 3:40Speaker 1: the All Star festivities. When I tuned in, it was
- 3:43Speaker 1: after the wemby and Chris Paul run, and the announcers
- 3:47Speaker 1: were talking about it and they got to qualified, Yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 1: they got They were like, oh, Chris Paul still pleading
- 3:51Speaker 1: his case, this, this and that, and they were kind
- 3:54Speaker 1: of discussing and they were even asking some of the players.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I was there about it, so I didn't get to
- 3:58Speaker 1: see it till like later in the broadcast, and then
- 3:59Speaker 1: when I seen it, I'm like, first of all, my
- 4:03Speaker 1: media impact was I feel sorry for Wemby because I
- 4:06Speaker 1: feel like this was one hundred percent of Chris Paul.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And that's your squad too, yep.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And it's like, bro, that's a vet. What are you
- 4:12Speaker 1: gonna tell?
- 4:13Speaker 3: You?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Know what I mean?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Like you a second year player. Chris Paul is like,
- 4:17Speaker 1: you know, he was the head of the Players Association,
- 4:19Speaker 1: he's a long time respective member of the NBA, a
- 4:23Speaker 1: super veteran. Like, you're not gonna tell him that idea?
- 4:26Speaker 1: Stupid if. And I'm not saying that's what happened because
- 4:28Speaker 1: I don't know, but it just screamed Chris Paul. Bro. No.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And the thing is, it's like it's All Star weekend, right,
- 4:35Speaker 3: and now they're doing things to take away from that,
- 4:38Speaker 3: like Matt mcclun has won the Dunk Conciot three years
- 4:42Speaker 3: in a row. Who does Matt mcclunk play for Yo
- 4:45Speaker 3: and the Winter Springs Magic Yep.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Stephen A. Smith said he got three Slam Dunk titles
- 4:53Speaker 1: and five games played in the NBA.
- 4:55Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 4:56Speaker 3: It's like they're doing because and I attributed to the
- 5:01Speaker 3: All Stars not wanting to participate, like Stephen they said
- 5:03Speaker 3: like Lebron was a demise of it. Why isn't Lebron
- 5:06Speaker 3: in there? Why isn't Zion in there? Why isn't John there? Like,
- 5:09Speaker 3: why aren't these dunkers in the dunk contest? Make no
- 5:12Speaker 3: sense back then? And that's one thing I will give
- 5:15Speaker 3: credit to Jordan. He participated that, he made himself. The
- 5:19Speaker 3: emblem is off the dunk contest.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Honestly, you don't even gotta like just say Jordan bro
- 5:24Speaker 1: Kobe was in the dunk contest. Doctor j was in
- 5:28Speaker 1: the dunk contest. I mean, bro, anybody that was anybody Dominique,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It was Dominica White Howard, Like you're.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Talking about some of the pillers of the NBA, like
- 5:39Speaker 1: for the Drexler. Yeah, like the people that for their
- 5:43Speaker 1: time was like the Hoopers, Brop.
- 5:45Speaker 3: They was in the dunk They were out there because
- 5:47Speaker 3: they were All Stars and they were showing how good
- 5:49Speaker 3: they are, exactly in an environment where all they have
- 5:52Speaker 3: to do is show off the skills and I have
- 5:53Speaker 3: to play a team game.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Show off your skills.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Like that has gone away, and that's terrible for what
- 5:58Speaker 3: the premise.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Of the All Star we do. It's supposed to be.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Even like the All Star Game itself. Like the way
- 6:03Speaker 1: that the format this year was like kind of like
- 6:05Speaker 1: a tournament with the All Stars and then some also
- 6:08Speaker 1: players that.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Were right the Stars. That's terrible.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So they had like like a tournament where at the
- 6:14Speaker 1: end they ended up being like the Ogs versus the
- 6:17Speaker 1: Young Stars. And I will say this, the OG's played
- 6:23Speaker 1: hard because they didn't want the Young Stars to beat them,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and then the Young Stars played hard because they wanted
- 6:28Speaker 1: to prove that they were better than the Ogs. But
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's like the actual basketball was probably like thirty minutes
- 6:35Speaker 1: out of the whole thing.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not competitive.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And the whole the whole event was like three four hours. Bro.
- 6:40Speaker 1: They had mad breaks for like.
- 6:42Speaker 3: That's why they had Jello performed. That's Kevin Harkoo there
- 6:44Speaker 3: and Due Joe.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Like they just had all these breaks for random stuff
- 6:47Speaker 1: and there was barely any basketball. The games were like okay,
- 6:50Speaker 1: like they went up to forty, Like each game went
- 6:53Speaker 1: up to forty. Like, Bro, first of all, where do
- 6:55Speaker 1: you even get the number forty from? Like why you
- 6:57Speaker 1: couldn't say fifty? Like you know what I mean, Like
- 7:00Speaker 1: it just sounds weird for the NBA. Hey, we're gonna
- 7:02Speaker 1: do three games up to four? Yeah, like what the bro?
- 7:06Speaker 1: That don't make no sense? Like, and it's funny because
- 7:09Speaker 1: like now it's like a blame game, like the NBA
- 7:12Speaker 1: players are pointing at the league, the league is pointing
- 7:14Speaker 1: at the players. And honestly, Bro, it's just getting to
- 7:18Speaker 1: a point where I mean, it's gonna turn into like
- 7:21Speaker 1: how regular season games are where people don't even show
- 7:23Speaker 1: up for it because it's ass.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah you know what. I then they should do.
- 7:26Speaker 3: They need to make somehow competitive but not competitive, something
- 7:29Speaker 3: that people were competing about five six years ago, like
- 7:32Speaker 3: what's trending now. And I think they should have took
- 7:34Speaker 3: advantage of the Olympics and how all these NBA players
- 7:37Speaker 3: from different countries, international players are so competitive with each
- 7:41Speaker 3: other and everybody's against USSA because they won. They should
- 7:44Speaker 3: have made it like international versus USA. Yes, then would
- 7:47Speaker 3: have he did similar, then they would have balled out.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Bro. I was literally gonna bring that up because that's
- 7:52Speaker 1: exactly I agree with that one hundred percent. Bro. If
- 7:55Speaker 1: they did something where like you're actually because that's what
- 7:59Speaker 1: happened with the Young Stars versus the Ogs, Like then
- 8:01Speaker 1: you're putting like a little pride on the line and
- 8:04Speaker 1: play a little more when that's the case, you know
- 8:06Speaker 1: what I mean. So if they did do something like
- 8:08Speaker 1: that International versus USA, like like some kind of like scrimmage,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean, like all Star scrimmage, I.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Don't like that.
- 8:15Speaker 1: That would be hard and that'll even give like a
- 8:19Speaker 1: like a different format tea even all Stars, because then
- 8:21Speaker 1: you would say, you know, you got twelve all stars
- 8:24Speaker 1: here in twelve stars.
- 8:25Speaker 3: And that would have to be a good balance, the
- 8:26Speaker 3: balance of international stars versus the USA stars. That's a
- 8:30Speaker 3: good like talent ballance skill balance where it'll be a
- 8:33Speaker 3: competitive game and not just lopside.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Did you see that video where they had a video
- 8:38Speaker 1: inside the Serbian locker room and the last Olympics and
- 8:42Speaker 1: Djoki and the coach and like the players were basically
- 8:45Speaker 1: all just saying, Bro, we need to stop Kevin Durant.
- 8:49Speaker 1: They were like, like, if we guard him too much,
- 8:52Speaker 1: he'll passes the Bam in the corner and Bam will
- 8:55Speaker 1: hit a shot. And if we don't guard him too much,
- 8:58Speaker 1: like bro, the coach came in screaming, Bro.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Like you got one job.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Oh you gotta care about is Dan? You gotta stop
- 9:07Speaker 1: the rat like he was screaming a servey like just
- 9:10Speaker 1: going crazy dog And it's like, bro, And they were
- 9:14Speaker 1: even talking about in All Star Weekend, like being the
- 9:17Speaker 1: face of the NBA, and it's like, man, maybe Durant
- 9:20Speaker 1: isn't the face of the NBA, but Buddy is cold.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Oh he's still Buddy is cold.
- 9:25Speaker 1: And it's like you appreciate it as a fan, but
- 9:29Speaker 1: when you hear every player just immediately say they don't
- 9:33Speaker 1: want to guard him. They say he's unstoppable. Like when
- 9:36Speaker 1: the players are giving you that, bro, like it's another level, bro,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Like we we really getting to see like some of
- 9:43Speaker 1: the craziest players like played together right now, like with Lebron, and.
- 9:48Speaker 3: It's coming to an end that people need to appreciate
- 9:50Speaker 3: it now. People need to be All Star week ind aside.
- 9:53Speaker 3: People need to appreciate the grace that are still here
- 9:55Speaker 3: because time's coming. Kevin Durant just hit thirty thousand points.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I don't think he's at we that ninth place now.
- 10:00Speaker 3: He is an all time scoring Like, I don't think
- 10:03Speaker 3: he got much.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Left to prove at this point. He got his Champion Series,
- 10:06Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 10:07Speaker 3: It's like All Star weekend sucks, but thankfully there's still
- 10:10Speaker 3: these vets in the game, still doing their things, still
- 10:12Speaker 3: getting accolades and still balling.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And you know how it is with sports, bro, It's
- 10:16Speaker 1: not guaranteed that another star is just gonna come replace.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Like Baseball went through his lows because it couldn't find stars.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Football went through his lows because it couldn't find stars,
- 10:26Speaker 1: NBA two, Bro, Every sport goes through these periods where
- 10:29Speaker 1: they just don't got those specific guys that can carry
- 10:31Speaker 1: the sport, Bro. And it's kind of like you were saying,
- 10:34Speaker 1: like all these greats are getting to the Ann Curry
- 10:37Speaker 1: lebron kd They're getting to that point where it's like, bro,
- 10:41Speaker 1: Who's who's gonna be the guy that's gonna like step up?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Like you know, you got you got Jason Tatum that
- 10:48Speaker 1: wants to be that guy, but people don't rock with
- 10:50Speaker 1: him like that. You got Anthony Edwards that they want
- 10:53Speaker 1: to be the guy, but he don't really want to be.
- 10:55Speaker 3: The guy because he said, we still got Luca, we
- 10:57Speaker 3: still got uh Sga, We still got a lot of
- 11:00Speaker 3: people there are just willing to take the phases they
- 11:02Speaker 3: keep ball jah.
- 11:04Speaker 2: You know, what I mean, I don't know. I hope
- 11:07Speaker 2: they figured it out.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I hope they really try to appease to the fans
- 11:11Speaker 3: instead of just what they think people are gonna like
- 11:14Speaker 3: just for them to get their money.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Hope that changes, bro.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Speaking of figuring it out, something that needs to get
- 11:21Speaker 1: figured out asap is this airplane situation.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Bro, Why are planes crashing so much? I'm scared to fly?
- 11:28Speaker 3: But I know, I know you are not a fan
- 11:30Speaker 3: of you never a fan of flying. So how does
- 11:32Speaker 3: that just sinking down deep into your stomach Like, oh no,
- 11:37Speaker 3: I'm never flying again?
- 11:38Speaker 1: Hey you nah? But I was literally gonna say that
- 11:40Speaker 1: you already know that I am. Like it's funny, brocause
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'll fly. You feel me like I'll fly for the
- 11:47Speaker 1: simple fact that I know the stuff that I'll miss
- 11:51Speaker 1: by not flying. And like it's also like a certain
- 11:54Speaker 1: thing where it's like you just can't live your life
- 11:56Speaker 1: in fear like that. Bro. But I am, BRO. I
- 11:59Speaker 1: still get Like last week, Bro, I had like three
- 12:03Speaker 1: flying nightmares in a week.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Bro.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That woke me up in the middle of the night. Like,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I don't know why, Bro, I'm just like I'm not
- 12:09Speaker 1: don't even have a flight planned, Like I don't have
- 12:11Speaker 1: nothing planned even but I'd just still be having flying nightmares.
- 12:15Speaker 1: So like, now that you're adding the fact that, like
- 12:18Speaker 1: so many crashes are happening, there's so many firings for
- 12:22Speaker 1: a lot of positions that have to do with saviation security,
- 12:26Speaker 1: like different councils, different committees. They just fired all of
- 12:31Speaker 1: the probationary workers that were just hired by the FAA,
- 12:34Speaker 1: like anybody that's been there a year or less. They
- 12:36Speaker 1: put a freeze and they said, if you've been there
- 12:38Speaker 1: a year or less, you're gone.
- 12:39Speaker 3: There's a reason these crashes are happening. It's not just
- 12:42Speaker 3: freak accidents, because there's been a handful in the last
- 12:45Speaker 3: two months alone.
- 12:46Speaker 2: These are not freak accidents.
- 12:47Speaker 3: These are a direct consequence of the organization structure and
- 12:53Speaker 3: the new things that are happening in this country.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And it's just crazy and bruh. That's exactly what I
- 12:58Speaker 1: was leading to, cause you know, I'll be on the
- 13:01Speaker 1: news all the time and I'm reading all these articles.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I'm lining up tom frames because you know how the
- 13:06Speaker 1: news is bro like, they're not gonna give you the story,
- 13:10Speaker 1: They're just gonna sprinkle facts in there and you gotta
- 13:13Speaker 1: follow the threads, right, So I'm looking at okay, two
- 13:17Speaker 1: weeks like two weeks ago they said that. A week
- 13:21Speaker 1: before that was when they disbanded a few committees and
- 13:26Speaker 1: did some firing of some higher ups that have to
- 13:29Speaker 1: do with different different functions in aviation. So that was
- 13:35Speaker 1: three weeks ago. It was two weeks ago that they
- 13:37Speaker 1: announced that. It was a week before, So that was
- 13:39Speaker 1: three weeks ago. Then last week they did the FAA
- 13:43Speaker 1: firings that I was telling you about then before that
- 13:47Speaker 1: was you know, just the conversations and the overall warning
- 13:55Speaker 1: of like, hey, things about a change here and everybody
- 13:59Speaker 1: ain't safe. So you have a situation where a lot
- 14:05Speaker 1: of news outlets and a lot of people had a
- 14:07Speaker 1: lot to say about Trump because they honestly just felt
- 14:11Speaker 1: like he was not going to get in office. Bro.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Like they just really was like, brod I could say
- 14:15Speaker 1: whatever because he's not going to be the president. But
- 14:18Speaker 1: he is the president. So now you've seen all these articles, bro,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and they're specific, Like some of them are flat out
- 14:26Speaker 1: saying like and it wasn't even just stuff that was
- 14:30Speaker 1: right leaning, it was left leaning down the middle. Bruh.
- 14:34Speaker 1: They're saying there's no way that this has anything to
- 14:37Speaker 1: do with the changes happened happening because it hasn't been
- 14:40Speaker 1: long enough. They're like, it's only been three weeks. Bro,
- 14:45Speaker 1: can't tell me that three weeks ago this wasn't happening,
- 14:50Speaker 1: then in the three weeks after it's happening. But you're
- 14:52Speaker 1: telling me there's there's smoke, but there's.
- 14:55Speaker 2: No fire, Like, Bro, come on like smoking mirrors that we're.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Not stupid man. And it's like, I don't know, bro,
- 15:02Speaker 1: Like I understand the the idea of government overspending and
- 15:07Speaker 1: things not being on the up and up, but there's
- 15:10Speaker 1: certain things dog where like you just got to like
- 15:15Speaker 1: for example, like for me, military and war, A lot
- 15:20Speaker 1: of people have a problem with how much money goes
- 15:23Speaker 1: to the armed forces, just anything that has to do
- 15:26Speaker 1: with that. People have a lot of problems with it.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I look at it like, Bro, you want us to
- 15:32Speaker 1: cut money in the way that we can defend our
- 15:36Speaker 1: country from other people that are not cutting money. Like
- 15:40Speaker 1: It's like I get it, bro, Like I understand people
- 15:43Speaker 1: that are against it, but at the same time, it's like, Bro,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say, hey, let's let's not spend so
- 15:50Speaker 1: much money on missiles and military intellivision and stuff, and
- 15:56Speaker 1: I feel like aviation is one of those things too, Bro,
- 15:58Speaker 1: Like this is my thing about flying. And this is
- 16:02Speaker 1: not like a revelation. This is just like it's natural. Bro.
- 16:06Speaker 1: We're not meant to fly, Bro, we.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Are bean being like sixty tons. I got some hops, Bro.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I got some hops. I'm not going I'm not gonna
- 16:15Speaker 1: act like I don't got some hot here. You got
- 16:16Speaker 1: a little string from the hat, right I got It's
- 16:19Speaker 1: like right on your eyebro right there there.
- 16:21Speaker 2: You got it.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So I got some hops. You know I've dunk before.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You know, I'm like five seven five eight, bro, you
- 16:27Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But you know I got some hops.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I've never gotten close to flying though, you know what
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like the most I'm in the air, Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 1: you know, I lean forward and jumping. I tried it,
- 16:37Speaker 1: you know, like like when I was a kid, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: try to be turned super saying, but it just wouldn't happen. Bro.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. All what happened with my
- 16:43Speaker 1: veins will pop on and I get tired, you know
- 16:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And we're not supposed to be in
- 16:48Speaker 1: the air bro. So the fact that we're flying already
- 16:50Speaker 1: is already a no go for me. And now you're
- 16:52Speaker 1: telling me that you firing the people that's monitoring the
- 16:55Speaker 1: air bro Like, nah, to.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Me, it all started with the bowing stuff, man, And
- 17:00Speaker 3: all started with the Boeing stuff, and they fired the
- 17:03Speaker 3: CEO bowing because I don't know, I'm not flying. I'm
- 17:08Speaker 3: gonna tell you, I'm gonna stay away from planes for
- 17:11Speaker 3: a good while, I'll tell you that.
- 17:13Speaker 1: And I kind of took the same mindset during COVID
- 17:16Speaker 1: as well, because the COVID flying situation was a little weird.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Like after COVID, so there was like a good period
- 17:25Speaker 1: probably from like maybe maybe like three or four years
- 17:29Speaker 1: that I didn't fly anywhere, and I was you know,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I take a couple of flights a year usually even
- 17:34Speaker 1: though I hate flying, you know, but in that time period, Bro,
- 17:38Speaker 1: I was like, nah, I'm straight bro like. And now,
- 17:41Speaker 1: like you said, dog like, I don't know, Bro, I
- 17:43Speaker 1: just I don't see myself ever getting on a plane again.
- 17:46Speaker 1: And be honest, you know, for Thrones to dog like
- 17:48Speaker 1: all the alien stuff like, like there's been stories that
- 17:51Speaker 1: have come out of like they just got stuff in
- 17:54Speaker 1: the air that they can't identify and they just gotta
- 17:56Speaker 1: wait for it to get out of the way to
- 17:58Speaker 1: let a flight go, like Bro, And like they've had
- 18:02Speaker 1: instances where like they've had like an unidentified craft near
- 18:06Speaker 1: an airplane and the airplanees electronics just start going haywires
- 18:11Speaker 1: because of that craft close by, and they just have
- 18:14Speaker 1: no explanation for it, and they just they're just still flying. Bro.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I don't trust it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Bro, it's a lot dog I'm not I'm not taking
- 18:21Speaker 1: no chances. Bro.
- 18:22Speaker 3: And now you never know, you could be on that
- 18:24Speaker 3: plane that flips upside down and crash it to the
- 18:26Speaker 3: helicopter your you know, shout out to those people.
- 18:29Speaker 2: But you never know when the fact you're on that plane.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It's scary and bro speaking of just stuff that happens
- 18:36Speaker 1: in life and scary, Bro, Like you know, and I
- 18:40Speaker 1: don't know if I mentioned it on the pot, but
- 18:42Speaker 1: I mean people definitely don't know. I've mentioned that my
- 18:45Speaker 1: dog passed away and it just kind of like had
- 18:48Speaker 1: a couple of things that happened after that where it's
- 18:50Speaker 1: just like it was a rough stretch for me, you
- 18:51Speaker 1: know what I mean. And then like I was in
- 18:54Speaker 1: the middle of that stretch, bro. And then like the
- 18:57Speaker 1: next week after that, I got a call from one
- 19:02Speaker 1: of my homies moms that he was in the hospital
- 19:05Speaker 1: on a ventilator, you know what I mean, like something
- 19:07Speaker 1: that happened to him. And it was like, Bro, I
- 19:10Speaker 1: was like super shocked because I had just hung out
- 19:12Speaker 1: with him for the Super Bowl. And then like the
- 19:14Speaker 1: day after I get that call, like we were just chilling,
- 19:17Speaker 1: he was good, we was vibing, and then I get
- 19:20Speaker 1: that call from his mom. I'm like, bro, what like
- 19:23Speaker 1: and it's just you know, all the all the thoughts
- 19:24Speaker 1: going through your head and you're super worried and everything.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And then I like, he thank god he got better. Man,
- 19:31Speaker 1: he got sent home. Man. Shout out to him. Bro,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I can't wait to see him. Love you my bro.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Like it was he's like one of my best friends.
- 19:39Speaker 1: It was like just super tough to you that he
- 19:41Speaker 1: was going through that, you know what.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I mean, really, And it's tough because you like it's
- 19:44Speaker 3: zero to one hundred. You know, you're chilling with him,
- 19:46Speaker 3: you're having a good time. You see no signs of
- 19:48Speaker 3: anything wrong, and you hear something like that's almost unbelievable.
- 19:51Speaker 2: It's like you can't take that in.
- 19:53Speaker 3: It's like, bro, it's like, there's no way I was
- 19:55Speaker 3: And that that's you know, that's what happens to a
- 19:58Speaker 3: lot of people when you lose someone in life. It's like,
- 20:00Speaker 3: especially if you see them the day before it just
- 20:02Speaker 3: got off a phone call with them, It's like, there's
- 20:04Speaker 3: no way, Like I just talked to them and they
- 20:06Speaker 3: see everything seemed perfect, Like how uh? And that made
- 20:10Speaker 3: everything happens as the flip of a switch, man, It's
- 20:13Speaker 3: you know, it all ties into like you never know.
- 20:16Speaker 3: You could be in that situation. You could be on
- 20:18Speaker 3: that plane, you could be on in that helicopter as
- 20:21Speaker 3: a pilot, you could be anything.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Bro.
- 20:24Speaker 2: And with the flip of a switch on the other end,
- 20:26Speaker 2: on the you know, on the bad side of it.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yeah, man. And it's funny because like the original thing
- 20:32Speaker 1: I kind of wanted to talk about with that was
- 20:33Speaker 1: just like how you got to take your health seriously,
- 20:37Speaker 1: Like as you get older, you got to look at
- 20:39Speaker 1: life a different way. And obviously I do believe that
- 20:42Speaker 1: and and I live my life that way. You know,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I'm very conscious of, you know, being active and making
- 20:47Speaker 1: sure I'm not, you know, doing anything I do in
- 20:50Speaker 1: moderation and making sure that I'm on top of my health.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I got a doctor's appointment tomorrow.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Just to yeah, you know what I mean. That's crazy.
- 20:58Speaker 1: But I also think about the other side of it
- 21:02Speaker 1: of like, bro, like how many people we know that
- 21:05Speaker 1: was on their health thing and then they just passed? Bro,
- 21:08Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Or something happened and you
- 21:09Speaker 1: can't even explain it. You're like, dang, like they was
- 21:13Speaker 1: like they was on it, you know what I'm saying,
- 21:15Speaker 1: And like it kind of goes to what you're saying, bro,
- 21:17Speaker 1: Like he could go from zero to one hundreds. Sometimes
- 21:20Speaker 1: it's a specific reason. Sometimes it's just bad luck. Bro.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and all this genetics and you never know.
- 21:26Speaker 1: No.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Shout out to one of my old co workers and
- 21:30Speaker 3: he's a good friend of mine, older gentleman. One of
- 21:34Speaker 3: the healthiest dudes I have ever known in my life.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Like he works out six days a week. He rises
- 21:38Speaker 3: his bike to the gym. He's better than ninety five
- 21:40Speaker 3: percent of the people I know in my life. And
- 21:44Speaker 3: he had a heart attack out of nowhere after he
- 21:47Speaker 3: went to the gym. Rode his bike was cutting the grass,
- 21:49Speaker 3: had good meals, heart attack out of nowhere, and.
- 21:54Speaker 2: He made a good Facebook post.
- 21:55Speaker 3: It's all about don't trust how good you doing, get
- 21:58Speaker 3: yourself checked, Get yourself checked, because you're never going to
- 22:01Speaker 3: know until it happens. H One of my bosses, his
- 22:04Speaker 3: brother went through something and it was such an anomaly,
- 22:07Speaker 3: and it's like, there's no way you ever would have
- 22:09Speaker 3: known unless he distinctively checked for that symptom, which you
- 22:13Speaker 3: never do and you find out when you're on the
- 22:16Speaker 3: bad end of it.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Yeah. No, that's the fact that that kind of reminds
- 22:20Speaker 1: me of Dane Wade, Like he just recently said that
- 22:23Speaker 1: he had cancer and he's he went through a treatment
- 22:25Speaker 1: and stuff like that, and you would think, Bro, he's
- 22:27Speaker 1: an NBA player, Bro, Like what did he get? How
- 22:30Speaker 1: did he get that?
- 22:31Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 22:31Speaker 1: But it's like, dog, it just be happening. Bro, there's
- 22:34Speaker 1: no rhyme or reason. Bro. Life just be a cruel
- 22:39Speaker 1: joke sometimes.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I mean, you go only do so much prevented a
- 22:43Speaker 3: maintenance to make sure you don't get there. But at
- 22:46Speaker 3: the end of the day, I'm a firm believer when
- 22:48Speaker 3: it's your time, it's your time. No matter what be
- 22:50Speaker 3: on the toilet or could be in a plane crash.
- 22:53Speaker 1: My mom has always been heavy on that. That's like
- 22:55Speaker 1: because I've always been scared of flying, and it's always
- 22:57Speaker 1: been her things she's happened to matter. Like if it's
- 23:01Speaker 1: a plane crash, you might not even be on the plane.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Just hit you in your house. I said, you can
- 23:05Speaker 2: be sitting on a toilet to have a stroke. You
- 23:07Speaker 2: never know.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's definitely doggess. It takes sometimes, it takes situations
- 23:13Speaker 1: like that, but like people really just need to appreciate
- 23:15Speaker 1: every day.
- 23:16Speaker 3: But it makes you, It makes you realize stop stop
- 23:19Speaker 3: sitting down and moping and saying why can't things be better,
- 23:23Speaker 3: and just enjoy it.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Why you got a chance to make it better.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know, I kind of thought about it
- 23:29Speaker 1: while we were while we were recording, like just the
- 23:31Speaker 1: idea of like maybe I don't want to specifically say
- 23:34Speaker 1: who my homie is that that went through that just
- 23:36Speaker 1: you know, I don't know if he wanted his business
- 23:38Speaker 1: out there like that or the whole situation, but I
- 23:41Speaker 1: definitely wanted to shout him out. I definitely wanted to
- 23:44Speaker 1: let him know like how special he is to me.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Because even like he hit me up and told me,
- 23:48Speaker 1: like one of the first things he thought about when
- 23:51Speaker 1: he was first like kind of going under was that
- 23:55Speaker 1: he was at my house and he knows my son
- 23:57Speaker 1: Guy asthma, and he was like wondering in his mind,
- 24:00Speaker 1: my son is gets sick, you know what I mean,
- 24:02Speaker 1: because like they have similar ailments. So it was like, dang, Bro,
- 24:06Speaker 1: Like even in that moment, like you were still like
- 24:08Speaker 1: worried about.
- 24:09Speaker 3: My other people. It's a good person. Shout out to
- 24:11Speaker 3: him you're talking about. He's a great dude.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And I can't wait till I can't wait till he
- 24:16Speaker 1: can get back into his normal routine and then just
- 24:19Speaker 1: get better than he was before. Bro. And like I said, Man,
- 24:23Speaker 1: appreciate every day. Appreciate everybody in your life, especially the
- 24:26Speaker 1: ones you love, because you don't know, you don't know
- 24:28Speaker 1: what happens, Bro. Like I said, Man, I was literally
- 24:30Speaker 1: with him one day. Next next time I hear from him,
- 24:33Speaker 1: he's on a ventilator.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Man.
- 24:34Speaker 1: So you know, just everybody gotta be be conscious of
- 24:38Speaker 1: how they move every day.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Man.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Passsssssssssssssssssssss
