A nasty outbreak of cyclosporiasis, linked to contaminated shredded lettuce from central Mexico, has sickened over 1,600 people across multiple states—with more than 100 hospitalized. Though the FDA initially blamed Taylor Farms, they later retracted that after a lab error, but still stand by their conclusion that the central Mexico lettuce is the source.
