- 2:04Dalton, I know you had a big day, brother.
- 2:06You were in the studio recording some music, man.
- 2:10Give us an update.
- 2:11How was your day?
- 2:12Man.
- 2:15Where do I start?
- 2:16It it was absolutely amazing, guys.
- 2:21My I'll tell you what, the the engineer I got to work with, he's phenomenal.
- 2:26He works in Nashville.
- 2:27He works with some really amazing artists.
- 2:31He he told me some of the artists he's worked with today, and I was like, dude, I didn't even
- 2:36know that.
- 2:36I mean, he's worked with guys like Hardy and Austin Snell and Uncle Cracker and, gosh, so
- 2:42many other just amazing musicians.
- 2:47And I tell you, man, it was just an it was an amazing experience for me.
- 2:51It's my first time ever being in a legitimate studio like that.
- 2:56And especially cutting a track like that.
- 2:58And I I I was just blown away.
- 3:00It's it's not fully done yet, but, man, what do you put together today on the spot was just I
- 3:08was I mean, I couldn't believe it.
- 3:10I couldn't believe.
- 3:10I'm still kinda starstruck by what he did, man.
- 3:13It's awesome.
- 3:14Well, you kinda you get what you pay for when you work with these guys that have a plethora
- 3:18of experience in the field.
- 3:20Right?
- 3:20Like, they're able to set up.
- 3:22They're already kinda set up with how they you know, it's small tweaks when you're in there.
- 3:27Right?
- 3:27They're set up to record that vocal, and it sounds better than you ever could get it to
- 3:32sound at home.
- 3:33Right?
- 3:34The space
- 3:34is set
- 3:35up and yeah, man.
- 3:36I'm so happy for you, dude.
- 3:38I I can see that glow about you.
- 3:40You're a different man now than you were twenty four hours ago when we got to talk.
- 3:45Man, I'm telling you, man.
- 3:47Like, I I think, we might have a little clip of it here shortly, but it, gosh, man.
- 3:54I I'm telling you.
- 3:55I I turned it on when I got in the car.
- 3:58As soon as I left, he sent me a, you know, a copy of it, and I put it on the speakers in the
- 4:03car, and I'm listening to it riding down the road, and I'm just like, holy crap.
- 4:08Like, I I just I I knew it was gonna be good.
- 4:11Don't get me wrong.
- 4:12I knew it was gonna be good because of what work he does, but man, I I it was when I say I
- 4:19had my expectations were like really high.
- 4:22Dude, it come out, like, up here, like, off the scale.
- 4:26So, I mean, it's just it was it was phenomenal, man.
- 4:29Awesome, dude.
- 4:30Well, I can't wait to hear that, but I think where we wanna start tonight, because both
- 4:37Willie and I have had you on on our respective podcast already, I don't know how far we need
- 4:42to dig back into your story, but I want you to go ahead and share a little bit for for our
- 4:47listeners that are tuning in live tonight and kind of, give them, the brief history before we
- 4:53get into the music.
- 4:54Yeah.
- 4:55Absolutely.
- 4:55Well, of course, you know, my name is Dalton Jones, and, I started doing music at four years
- 5:00old and singing in church and doing all the great things there and taught myself how to
- 5:06play the guitar at about 13, 14 years old and started playing and doing things of that nature
- 5:12and then I really didn't start singing and playing the guitar till I was about 17 ish
- 5:17somewhere right in that area, 18 And, played it for years in church, did all kinds of things
- 5:24there, special music, you name it.
- 5:26But during that time period, I was also singing a lot of karaoke and hanging out at the karaoke
- 5:31joints with all my friends and my wife.
- 5:34That's where I actually met her was doing that and, gravitated from there.
- 5:40Over the last, nine, ten years, my wife has been just hammering me.
- 5:44You need to do music.
- 5:45You need to do music and do more than just singing karaoke on Friday nights.
- 5:51And finally, after almost ten years of her hammering me about that, I finally took her up
- 5:56on it.
- 5:57And just a little over a year ago, we started playing out, writing our own music and and
- 6:02doing show across, here across Alabama.
- 6:06And, today, we got to cut our first studio track.
- 6:09So it's it's been a a quick turnaround of things, but it's been a blast, an absolute
- 6:16blast.
- 6:19Yeah.
- 6:19What what a ride, man.
- 6:21What a ride y'all have been on.
- 6:23And I can't wait to talk to your wife about that book that she wrote and released this year
- 6:28too.
- 6:29I I love a creative couple.
- 6:32Absolutely.
- 6:33Yeah.
- 6:33She's she's so talented and she's helped me write some of the songs that we've released.
- 6:40We're gonna hopefully get those tracked here pretty soon as well and my goal is I would like
- 6:46to by this time next year come out with a full album and we've got a full album worth of music
- 6:51put together right now.
- 6:52We just gotta get it tracked.
- 6:53So, that's my goal is to get that done in the next year.
- 6:58And my wife, like I said, she's just so talented in in her writing and things that she
- 7:03does.
- 7:03So I have an unfair advantage when it comes to writing music because she always helps and
- 7:07gives me input and feedback and let's change this line or change that word and man, it it
- 7:13just it's so helpful and just it's a great team, which I think that's how any marriage is
- 7:18supposed to be.
- 7:20For sure.
- 7:21So, boo boo, since you haven't had a chance to really talk to Dalton, I know you guys were
- 7:25backstage before I got in here right before we started recording.
- 7:29You have any a question for him off the top here before we get into the music?
- 7:37I guess I just kinda wanna know who really inspires you to, like, make your music.
- 7:42You know?
- 7:42Who's your inspirations in this?
- 7:45Well, you know, as far as, like, my own personal, motivation and what inspires me is my
- 7:53family number one.
- 7:54So, you know, my wife and and I've got three daughters.
- 7:58And so, you know, they're they're my number one inspiration.
- 8:02Everything I do, I try to just give them a better life and and do a better for them and
- 8:08music is something that's a passion of mine.
- 8:11It's a dream of mine and so to be able to do music, something that I love and I'm passionate
- 8:17about and and hopefully give my my family a brighter future is the biggest thing.
- 8:22And then as far as my inspiration in music, as far as like where my music comes from, you
- 8:29know, some of my favorite artists and musicians of all time were Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash,
- 8:36the old outlaw country guys, Hank Junior.
- 8:39I love all those guys.
- 8:40Jamie Johnson Johnson has a big impact on some of the things that I do.
- 8:44He's an amazing artist and songwriter.
- 8:47And then, of course, you know, I love guys like Hardy who's a newer artist, but he's just an
- 8:53amazing songwriter, and I like his style of music.
- 8:56So I would say there's these are kind of my the guys that I kinda look to to say, hey.
- 9:01I would if I could model myself after an artist, it'd be kinda in that that realm.
- 9:07You know, those are all some guys, man.
- 9:10I love that.
- 9:11Some great songwriters in that block for sure.
- 9:14You know, it's funny, Dalton.
- 9:16When we were chatting yesterday, you mentioned, growing up right down the road from Riley Green
- 9:21and his hometown.
- 9:22I just got a press release today from our local arena, and, he's gonna be coming out here to
- 9:28play next summer.
- 9:29So I'm putting it for press passes.
- 9:31I'm a I'm a drop the Alabama in there and see if we can get backstage with him.
- 9:36Heck.
- 9:37Yeah.
- 9:37You know, he is I'll tell you what.
- 9:39He puts on a amazing show and an amazing show.
- 9:43I will say that.
- 9:45And he's he's a he is a crowd feeding artist.
- 9:50You know, he he feeds a lot off the crowd and has a lot of interact interactions with the
- 9:54crowd.
- 9:55So I think from a performance standpoint, entertainer, he's just a really good
- 10:00entertainer.
- 10:01And Riley's a really good songwriter too, man.
- 10:03He he has written some amazing songs.
- 10:06We do we cover a lot of his stuff when we play, and and it's it's a joy.
- 10:12But yeah, I can I can remember singing Carrie?
- 10:17We did karaoke together a few times back in the day and I can remember watching him play in the
- 10:23local, you know, bars and joints here.
- 10:25I've literally watched him play in front of about 10 people before.
- 10:28So, and and now he's playing in front of a 100,000, and it's just it's it's wild.
- 10:33Really is.
- 10:35Well and that's gotta be so inspiring to to see that firsthand that, like Mhmm.
- 10:41You can go from playing in front of 10 people, and before you know it, be in front of massive
- 10:47crowds and doing your thing.
- 10:49So really cool to have some some hometown inspiration there working for you.
- 10:54That that's amazing.
- 10:57Man, we're gonna get into some songs.
- 10:59Willie, did you guys talk about what song you're gonna play first tonight?
- 11:02Not really.
- 11:03He just sent me to him, and I figured we're gonna play the first story he already sent me.
- 11:09And then at the end, we're gonna kinda sneak in that little tidbit of the one he did today.
- 11:14Yeah.
- 11:15I like that.
- 11:16So you put them in the background music and not in the sounds thing.
- 11:22So I don't I don't know if it's gonna work like we want it to, but we're just learning here,
- 11:27Dalton.
- 11:27You'll have to forgive us, brother.
- 11:29We're trying to figure this out as we go.
- 11:33Let's see if this, if this play do we have a copy of his logo too we could put up there?
- 11:37Oh,
- 11:37we don't.
- 11:38It's up there.
- 11:39Oh, it's in the logo section, though.
- 11:41It needs to be in the needs to be in a different spot, but that's okay.
- 11:47Oh, there you go.
- 11:48There you go.
- 11:48Look at that.
- 11:49That looks beautiful.
- 11:51Oh, moaningful.
- 11:52Man, this is a giant on my face.
- 11:54Live production.
- 11:55My face.
- 11:58Dog, you know what?
- 11:59Play this, buddy.
- 12:00That's not such a bad thing, Willie.
- 12:02Before we play this, buddy, I just wanna say how incredibly proud I am of you, to see you
- 12:07from TikTok to where how far you come.
- 12:10I I am overly proud of how far you've come, buddy.
- 12:14Hey, man.
- 12:15I you know, it's, I appreciate it.
- 12:17I really do.
- 12:18And it's man, it's gone so much quicker than I had ever expected.
- 12:25To be honest with you, if you'd have told me a year ago, we would be in the studio today and
- 12:29recording a track, and I said you're crazy.
- 12:33But, it has it's just kind of been like a domino effect, man.
- 12:37It's just just boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 12:38So, I'm hey.
- 12:40I I I like moving fast.
- 12:42I played, played football a long time in my life and played running back.
- 12:47So, you know, you gotta be quick on your feet there.
- 12:49So it's kinda part of it.
- 12:51So we're we're handling it and and rolling with the punches, man.
- 12:54I love it.
- 12:55Well, I got nothing to lose pulled up.
- 12:57We're gonna see if it works with this background noise, background music thing, and,
- 13:01give it a listen.
- 13:02So, without any further ado, this is, Dalton Jones here on Love Noise, and this is his song,
- 13:12Nothing to Lose.
- 13:13This is gonna be my self produced stuff too, so it's not the best, but it'll give you
- 13:19Brother, we had Boo Boo
- 13:20bring his stuff on self produced, last week, and, we didn't murder him.
- 13:25So it's all
- 13:26good, brother.
- 13:27We're gonna
- 13:28take it easy on you.
- 13:29We understand what it's like, man.
- 13:31I'm a musician myself.
- 13:32You know, Willie's a, I would say amateur podcaster.
- 13:36He's getting to be a professional, but we're all learning, man, And this show is no
- 13:40different.
- 13:40So nothing to lose.
- 13:44It's
- 13:44lose.
- 13:45Hey.
- 13:48See?
- 13:48We're putting fix that.
- 13:50I can fix that.
- 13:53Is that the hillbilly education?
- 13:55That's my three r's.
- 13:57Reading your head necker in writing.
- 13:59Okay?
- 13:59Y'all leave me alone.
- 14:01Willie, make it a banner because I think if you put it up like you did there, it covers up
- 14:04Dalton Jones' pretty face.
- 14:06We don't wanna add that.
- 14:07Alright.
- 14:08Here's the Boo Boo, they're asking if you got better Wi Fi in the chat, by the way.
- 14:14I don't know if I call it better, but it works.
- 14:17Oh, it's way better.
- 14:18Good job, Dave.
- 14:19Better, Boo Boo.
- 14:20Alright.
- 14:20Nothing to lose.
- 14:22This is by Dalton Jones.
- 18:30Well, I think we lost him.
- 18:32Yes, sir.
- 18:33He'll be back.
- 18:34SR.
- 18:34He's he's tech savvy, man.
- 18:37That's a killer song, dude.
- 18:39I I was really digging on that.
- 18:41To me, I it makes me think of, like, what maybe the, garage tapes of Leonard Skinner or
- 18:46something sounded like, right, before they wrote all those hits, and they were just
- 18:50getting together.
- 18:51It was simple songs with a lot of soul.
- 18:55I liked it, man.
- 18:56Willie, what'd you think?
- 18:58I'll let Boo Boo go first because I've heard it before tonight.
- 19:02Alright, Boo Boo.
- 19:03Unmute yourself.
- 19:10Sorry, I muted myself for the song just because of the dogs and stuff but yeah, you know, I
- 19:15really like that one.
- 19:16It reminds me a lot of some stuff that my friends who, I mean, they never end up
- 19:20releasing stuff but they wrote a lot of like, you know, really soulful things like that and
- 19:23that reminds you of a bet a much better version of that and like, I really enjoyed, you know,
- 19:29the lyrics and like just the music itself even just you feel it.
- 19:33You know, it's something you don't just hear that song.
- 19:36You actually feel that song.
- 19:39Yeah.
- 19:39I wish I had had it while I was out on the road all summer, right?
- 19:42Talking about missing missing the family back home and just being out there, letting it all
- 19:48hang really having like like it says, man, nothing to lose.
- 19:52Right?
- 19:53And I feel like that really speaks to us in particular, where we're all kind of at in our
- 20:00lives is that, man, you you were as as destitute as we can be some days.
- 20:05Right?
- 20:05Well, some of us ain't even got a pot to piss in, but we're out here giving it our all.
- 20:10We're connecting with people.
- 20:12Awesome people like Dalton himself who speaking of connections, he'll be coming back here soon.
- 20:18I I promise you.
- 20:20Just having some some Internet difficulties right now, but we didn't kick him out like we
- 20:24did to boo boo last week.
- 20:26I tell you what kicked me out.
- 20:29Yeah.
- 20:29We did.
- 20:30No.
- 20:30Just kidding.
- 20:31I tell you what, though.
- 20:32Hearing that track is so much different than hearing him.
- 20:35Because I've heard the song before because when I joined his TikTok live, that is actually one
- 20:42of the songs he played.
- 20:45So it was really interesting to hear the the way it portrayed differently.
- 20:54Like, I love the lyrics of that song.
- 20:56You know?
- 20:58He actually I'm pretty fortunate.
- 21:00He sent it to me, and I'm gonna start playing it at the DJ events I go to, and I have his
- 21:05permission to do so.
- 21:11That's nice.
- 21:12So you got to hear, like, the raw acoustic version on TikTok first.
- 21:16That was kinda your introduction, Dalton?
- 21:18Oh, yeah.
- 21:19I I honestly, it's one of them nights I couldn't sleep when I strolled through TikTok
- 21:23to the and it was one of them nights.
- 21:34You know, that's perfect timing for me not being the one with the issues.
- 21:37Right?
- 21:39But, yeah, it was one them
- 21:41times where
- 21:42Renee, now we're working on Dalton's Wi Fi.
- 21:44Don't you worry.
- 21:46But it's one of them times where I couldn't sleep, so I did what I've been doing for the
- 21:49podcast and just scrolling through Facebook, TikTok, and seeing who pops out.
- 21:55And I I said, okay.
- 21:58I'm a be here about thirty minutes.
- 21:59And what thirty minutes turned to a six hour live that it was like I had on my own personal
- 22:04concert with a bunch of other people.
- 22:14And that's awesome, you know?
- 22:16You got to like really hear a lot of the raw acoustics there, Willie?
- 22:20Oh, it was.
- 22:23He's an amazing talented person.
- 22:25He really is.
- 22:27I wish I had half that much talent in my big toe for music.
- 22:31I mean, I could do a lot of things, but music is not one of them.
- 22:34And you got a big toe.
- 22:37I got a big I figured I'd make the big head comment before you did.
- 22:45Yeah
- 22:48Renee.
- 22:49I can't agree with you more.
- 22:51We got to get back to that soulful music.
- 22:53I think everybody, everybody in the world is kind of tired of the cookie cutter pop music.
- 22:59Like I said, it all has its place.
- 23:01Right?
- 23:02It it all has its place in life, but I feel like you're just so dominated by that on what's
- 23:09in pop music or you hear on Spotify that's on the constant playlist.
- 23:13Right?
- 23:13Like, that you can't it it feels like you can't get away from it.
- 23:19Right?
- 23:19And and I definitely I definitely feel that that soulful, heartfelt music is making a
- 23:29comeback.
- 23:30And it's why I know that we hit this show and what the scene projects is doing as a network,
- 23:37what Willie's doing with soul impact and boo boo has with the boo boo project now, of
- 23:42bringing out artists that to just let them kinda bear their souls out there and and give
- 23:48people the courage to do so.
- 23:51The you're writing songs for radio isn't where it's at anymore.
- 23:55Right?
- 23:55Radio ain't gonna play your song anyway.
- 23:58So bring it here to Love Noise, that's where we wanna where we wanna showcase that kind of
- 24:04music.
- 24:05So appreciate you coming in with us again here, Renee, and and tuning in to the show.
- 24:11We appreciate you commenting and sharing it out there.
- 24:14So
- 24:16Listen.
- 24:16We're gonna have to give him crap when he comes in here because he just sent me a message and
- 24:20he said, me talking smacking, here I am.
- 24:24So we're gonna have to give him a little smack talking when he comes back.
- 24:28Yeah.
- 24:29For sure.
- 24:30Well, maybe this is maybe this is a good time for a little a little commercial break.
- 24:35Let's we're gonna run some video.
- 24:38So I've been working with a couple of you know, we've been on the TV lately with our with our
- 24:44songwriter showcase shows, and I wanna give you all a taste of what that looks like.
- 24:49So we're gonna roll a commercial here real quick and and, like, give you a little taste of
- 24:53the songwriter showcase, and we're gonna do what we can to get Dalton back on here.
- 24:57So Roll that beautiful beam footage.
- 25:00This is the scene projects.
- 25:03This is the songwriter showcase.
- 25:32Yeah.
- 25:32Well, we're not here just to talk.
- 25:33We're here to play and sing some songs too.
- 25:35So why don't you guys give us a song, and then we'll come back and talk some more.
- 25:39Alright.
- 25:39Yeah.
- 25:40My dreams are bigger than that small town.
- 25:47I was waiting on the storm to come.
- 25:53It's been coming down forever.
- 25:55It's the warmth in the fingertips.
- 26:00Where the cold air catches your understanding slips.
- 26:08Sliding down the driveway, swearing at the snow plow driving by.
- 26:29If I could change your mind, you'd know that I would.
- 26:37No need to say goodbye.
- 26:41The boy is understood.
- 27:00This day has been an incredible, incredible experience, not only for myself, but for
- 27:05everyone who entered this room.
- 27:07We hope that you enjoy the performances.
- 27:09We hope that you go and follow and find your new favorite songwriter inside of this show.
- 27:14And I pray that this community continues to grow.
- 27:55Hey, Bubba.
- 27:56Why don't we use this time while we wait on Dalton and let everyone tell a little bit about
- 28:00their show?
- 28:02Yeah.
- 28:02I'm down with Willie, why don't you take it, man?
- 28:04You go ahead and tell everybody about Soul Impact.
- 28:07We've already brought it up a couple of times tonight.
- 28:09A great segue there as we heard Tyler Herwig on that songwriter showcase clip, performing his
- 28:17song enough, which you can find on the scene projects radio at thesceneprojects.com as well.
- 28:23But he was just a guest on your show this week.
- 28:25Right, Willie?
- 28:26Yeah.
- 28:27Yeah.
- 28:27He was.
- 28:30And for those of you that are watching and ain't familiar, come check me out.
- 28:35I do prerecorded, but I stream a new episode every Thursday at well, they keep changing
- 28:43times on me.
- 28:44It was five.
- 28:44Now it's six, but just come check it out.
- 28:47And if you're an artist and you have story, the point behind my podcast is be able to share
- 28:54them hard moments that behind the songs that you wrote and share the experience and the
- 29:01healing that writing that song offered.
- 29:04This is so many times that people hear a song, and they're like, oh, I can relate, but I you
- 29:10know?
- 29:10And me and you have talked time and time again, Bubba, where you said a great artist, when you
- 29:15get off they get off that stage, they're gonna be able to know you better by what you how you
- 29:21performed.
- 29:22And, you know, that's what I try to offer and to show people that there's hope at the bottom
- 29:28of a dark road dark road.
- 29:33No doubt.
- 29:34And I loved being a guest on your show.
- 29:38I've loved watching the show continue to evolve and grow.
- 29:43You've had some great guests on.
- 29:44You've had some great conversations.
- 29:46Really loved the one with a couple of vibe fest Vibe Fest performers, people that I got to meet
- 29:53while we were down there.
- 29:54The fire white episode is just that.
- 29:58It's fire, man.
- 29:59Yeah.
- 30:00Huge.
- 30:00Holy shit.
- 30:01You gave me a hard time.
- 30:03Yeah.
- 30:03Well, that's what made it even better.
- 30:05That's what made it even better is that you're so you're such a good host because you people
- 30:12trust you.
- 30:13Right?
- 30:13And they're trusting you with some really deep stuff, and that's really the beauty of
- 30:17podcasting.
- 30:18Like, even though these things are going out to the masses, because of the way that it's filmed
- 30:23and people are in their own space, and they're talking to just the camera, and they're sharing
- 30:29it with just you that it just makes for some great, great content.
- 30:34And I know that, you know, my faith in you was not misplaced when I I continue to encourage
- 30:42you to, you know, pursue this podcast.
- 30:46And, I love being behind you every step of the way now and getting to watch you grow.
- 30:51And, how far you've come, man.
- 30:53And just a a real small handful of episodes, 20 something episodes, that's, you know, 10% of
- 30:58what I've done in the last eighteen months.
- 31:00And I don't say that to brag on what I've done.
- 31:03I'm just saying that I don't know that I've seen that amount of growth out of myself like
- 31:08like I've seen out of you, and now you're producing stuff in the background.
- 31:12You're creating your own thumbnails and just everything.
- 31:15You grab the bull by the horns, and you've kind of wrestled it into submission at this point
- 31:20into the dirt, and you're really making this thing, your baby, right?
- 31:25And you're you're creating something that will last long after we're all gone.
- 31:32This beautiful archive of all of these stories, and I know you got your biggest fan that that
- 31:38spends time with you every day.
- 31:40Your baby girl, I know she loves watching daddy on the big screen and, you know, not not just
- 31:46when her favorite episode, which is obviously the one with me and you is on.
- 31:50Oh, whatever.
- 31:52But no.
- 31:52And then how does it get filmed?
- 31:56That's the realness of it is, you know and I have episodes, and I think and I've had so many
- 32:01people tell me, you're gonna edit that out.
- 32:03Right?
- 32:04When she comes up and daddy, I need this.
- 32:06I said, no.
- 32:07I'm not.
- 32:07I'm not gonna edit any of this.
- 32:09For one, the point of my show is I want people you know, I still go back and watch episode one
- 32:16with Bubba where I looked at me now and I was like, thank god I'm not that smuck anymore.
- 32:22Okay?
- 32:24I'm not saying it as a bad thing, but it shows how evolving is ever changing.
- 32:30You know?
- 32:30I'm like, one of the great things I love is I asked artists their creative process on how
- 32:36they write their music.
- 32:37And just to hear the different ways they may have some techniques in there the same, but
- 32:43just to hear you know, 24 I actually have 28 episodes out.
- 32:49And in them than 28 episodes, I've heard a different twist.
- 32:53And, you know, and that amazes me.
- 32:55It's just just because the process ain't the same doesn't mean the end end results aren't.
- 33:04Yeah.
- 33:05It's it's been awesome to watch, and I'm so proud of you, Willie.
- 33:09I know we talk every day, and I can't gush on you all the time, but I definitely wanna take
- 33:14the time when we're live here on YouTube and, you know, recording this to to post the replay
- 33:20next Wednesday as well as we do with all of the episodes of Love Noise.
- 33:24That's man, when I say I love you, I truly do.
- 33:27I love the man that you're becoming.
- 33:29I love the father that you are.
- 33:31I love everything about you, Will.
- 33:33You've dove into all this.
- 33:34You've invested in me.
- 33:36You've invested in this company, and, you're a big reason, that I wake up every day, and I am
- 33:42as motivated to get out there and to record four episodes a day and to just go for it
- 33:49because I I know what we're doing matters.
- 33:52And and I know that, you know, all of these episodes and and all of these things that we're
- 33:57working on, it counts.
- 34:00It's not for nothing.
- 34:01And and even though the the financial side hasn't clicked yet, which in little bits it has
- 34:08right, you know, catching a 50 on Venmo from Willie the other day was like, Man, maybe this
- 34:13thing is starting to make a little bit of money, right?
- 34:16And I think we're about to hit that point where the floodgates really open and other people see
- 34:21what we're doing and really start to support that, whether it's by going to our Patreon,
- 34:27finding the scene projects and contributing a little bit there or, you know, anyway, any
- 34:32advertisers and businesses that are in our circle get, get to know us and get to trust us
- 34:39and know that that we're here to make your business right.
- 34:43You're our baby, too, just like we do with every artist that comes on, and we treat your
- 34:48art with that same respect.
- 34:50I mean, that's the level of professionalism that we bring to everything we do.
- 34:55So, really just thrilled, man.
- 34:57I'm so proud of you, Willie.
- 34:59And, boo boo, I'm proud of you too, brother.
- 35:01You you've worked your butt off even when your Internet sucks and your computer gets stolen
- 35:06and we have to buy you one off of Timu.
- 35:08The fans, your our fans brought that for you.
- 35:11Right?
- 35:11Like, we we had to do a fundraiser, and and we had people come out, and I forget the
- 35:16gentleman's name now, and I apologize for that.
- 35:18But
- 35:19Are talking about Kenny?
- 35:21One of our fans came
- 35:22through and put down, right, and slapped his money on the table and said, man, that's that's
- 35:28screwed up.
- 35:29That that boo boo stuff got stolen and and dropped $200 down and, you know, was able to
- 35:35get at least something that Boo Boo could get back to work, man.
- 35:39And now here he is with a a couple of shows on the network.
- 35:44Boo Boo, I'm gonna give you the floor and and let you tell us about your shows, man.
- 35:48Alright.
- 35:48So I got the boo boo project, which, you know, as Bubba put it, I let artists and creatives,
- 35:53you know, they come on and I just kinda let them put their soul out there for everyone to
- 35:57understand.
- 35:57You know, tell their story and, you know, little, you know, weird and odd facts about
- 36:02them that you guys don't know that they want you to know and that one's just kind of a lot
- 36:09of like your basic interview type of show for creative people to come on and do that.
- 36:14I also have Beyond the Bell, which is for the Scene Project Sports Network.
- 36:20And that one is independent professional wrestlers.
- 36:24So people who haven't made it to the big leagues there and they get to come on and tell
- 36:29their stories and how they got started.
- 36:31And it's a lot like that, but it's a little more, the language gets a little grittier with
- 36:38that one.
- 36:38And, I mean, you know, we're dealing with a lot of, like, death match wrestlers and things
- 36:43there.
- 36:43So there's a lot of, like, people talk about blood and getting cut open and things.
- 36:48And then I'm also reviving freestyle freak out, which if you don't know, I interview rappers,
- 36:54and then they get to freestyle on my beats for until they decide they're sick of it,
- 36:58basically.
- 37:00Yeah.
- 37:00That's what I have.
- 37:07We made it.
- 37:09Hey.
- 37:09Listen.
- 37:10Listen.
- 37:10I told him I'm gonna say this so I can say it to your face.
- 37:14Listen.
- 37:15We can't talk shit on Boo Boo and his team me Wi Fi when you're down for just as long, buddy.
- 37:21Oh, dude.
- 37:22When you get that money, buy you better Internet, buddy.
- 37:26Hey.
- 37:26My way down there switched to my phone faster than he got on again.
- 37:30Man, it's it's making me sick, man.
- 37:32I'm serious.
- 37:33I've had this Internet.
- 37:34Like, I redone everything.
- 37:36Right?
- 37:37I got a new router, new modem, everything.
- 37:40And this is the first time it's ever done that ever.
- 37:43So, I mean, it's been a it's been almost a year, over a year since I got it switched to
- 37:48this.
- 37:49I I don't know what happened, but I rebooted everything, and it fixed it.
- 37:53I mean, we failed right around the same time, so there's that.
- 37:58Say again?
- 38:00We failed right around the same time with that one.
- 38:06I just got back faster.
- 38:09Well, let's get this back on track.
- 38:11Let's get this about Dalton again because, let's make him back the star of the show.
- 38:19Now that he's back, are you back for good this time, buddy?
- 38:22I think so.
- 38:24Alright.
- 38:24Well, this next one you sent me is country nights.
- 38:28Yep.
- 38:29So, yeah, this one's, so this song is actually one of ours.
- 38:34It's out on all the streaming platforms.
- 38:37The first one is still in demo.
- 38:38We're actually gonna be tracking that one.
- 38:41But, yeah, this one's actually on streaming platforms, Spotify, Amazon, all the things.
- 42:31That's void.
- 42:40Reprise.
- 42:41I'm assuming that was starting over there.
- 42:42Right, Dalton?
- 42:44Yeah.
- 42:44It was.
- 42:45Oops.
- 42:46I dropped the ball on that one.
- 42:48That's alright.
- 42:49Well, it happened on the last song, so I was kinda prepared for it.
- 42:53Brother You kind of missed us gushing about the last song a little bit, but kind of what I said
- 43:00about that one.
- 43:02Was it kind of it's what I think of like the Leonard Skinner garage tapes, right?
- 43:09And,
- 43:09and
- 43:09you just got such a good country sound to your voice.
- 43:12You got that draw.
- 43:14But it's rocking, man.
- 43:16It's got a lot of energy, and I really appreciate that.
- 43:19I'm more of a rock guy.
- 43:19I know I'm a member of the Midwest country music organization, and we have some, you know,
- 43:24country twang songs, but it's more along the lines of, like, a Marshall Tucker or, you know,
- 43:29Charlie Daniels band where it kind of rode that line.
- 43:31Yep.
- 43:32Right?
- 43:32Where it it was country rock, and I know that, you know, now that line is even more blurred
- 43:39with guys like a Co Wetzel or or, you know, and a lot of these bands out there, man.
- 43:46That is there any, like, are are you planning on redoing any of these songs with your
- 43:52producer and kinda working through some of the old stuff too?
- 43:55Yeah.
- 43:55We're actually gonna so nothing to lose.
- 43:59The first song you guys played, that one is gonna be one of the songs we're gonna cut.
- 44:05He actually wanted to do that song, Country Nights, we just listened to.
- 44:10But I've got one other one that I I just love.
- 44:13And so we're gonna do it.
- 44:16My goal is with this EP, we're gonna do three songs to start off with, and they're all three
- 44:21gonna be a little different.
- 44:23So I I what I wanna do is kinda showcase, you know, this is my variety.
- 44:30Right?
- 44:30You know?
- 44:31So one of them is kind of a little bit slower, kinda buildup, tear jerking type song.
- 44:37I've got a a kind of a happy, fun, love song that I think Willie's might play here in a
- 44:43minute that I wrote about my wife.
- 44:46And so yeah.
- 44:47So I I just yes.
- 44:49I I have country rock roots to my core.
- 44:52I love southern rock.
- 44:53Grew up on Skynyrd.
- 44:54Grew up on, Hank and Charlie Daniels and all that stuff.
- 44:59My lead guitarist with the band that I was playing with when we track these songs, he
- 45:04plays with the exact same setup as Leonard Skynyrd.
- 45:07He runs the old tube amp.
- 45:08He's got a layover mic.
- 45:10Like, it's literally, like, almost to the tee what Skynyrd ran.
- 45:14So
- 45:15That's funny because you weren't here when we went over that song, and that was the first
- 45:19thing I said is that, like, this is what I think the, like, the garage tapes of Skynyrd
- 45:23sounded like.
- 45:24Right?
- 45:25And and and you're right.
- 45:26I and I appreciate that you kinda brought it up because nothing to lose in country nights are a
- 45:31similar vibe.
- 45:32Right?
- 45:32They're obviously not the same song, but a very similar vibe where it's not necessarily
- 45:37showcasing the different sides of Dalton Jones.
- 45:40So I love that you're kind of bringing that to you know, you you're thinking well ahead of it.
- 45:45It's not just I'm bringing out my songs, and I'm gonna record them.
- 45:48It's no.
- 45:49I wanna showcase the the breadth of what I can do, right, and kinda show that.
- 45:54If I'm only gonna get these three songs to swing first, like, let let me give everyone a
- 45:59little taste of everything, and then you can come back and and rework some of this stuff
- 46:03back in and be able to take people a little deeper down those veins, man.
- 46:08I think that's a great, great business move on yours on your part.
- 46:13I appreciate it.
- 46:13Yeah.
- 46:14That you know, I try to be thought out.
- 46:18And, you know, like I said, a lot of these songs, I I really threw them out there the best
- 46:23I could into, like, a demo version just just to get something out there.
- 46:27And I, you know, I pitched it to producers and other folks.
- 46:31And fortunately enough, you know, I I talked with the producer I'm working with now, and he
- 46:37loved what I was doing and said, hey, let's track some songs.
- 46:40So we're gonna we're gonna get these these first three tracked.
- 46:44And then like I said, you know, my hope is that things take off and we can go ahead and cut the
- 46:50whole album because that's what I wanna do is I wanna put a whole whole album out there.
- 46:54I've gotta I've got nine songs put together right now, and I've got well, actually, I have
- 47:0010 songs now because I just wrote another one, but, I'm working on, three other songs that I
- 47:06kinda got started on, but I just haven't finished yet.
- 47:08So got a lot in the works.
- 47:11Hey, buddy.
- 47:12I'm gonna have to hold you to that 16 you owe because of that TikTok live.
- 47:15Okay?
- 47:16Yeah.
- 47:16Oh, man.
- 47:18That was a mistake.
- 47:19I will tell you this.
- 47:21Did we tell you did you guys hear that story?
- 47:25No.
- 47:26Oh my gosh.
- 47:27So we I went live on TikTok, and this is literally, like, maybe the third time I've ever
- 47:32gone live on TikTok.
- 47:33And that was when Willie found me.
- 47:35And I was playing and and I had these little list on the left side of my screen.
- 47:41It was like, alright.
- 47:42If I get a thousand, you know, parts, I'll do this.
- 47:46If I get 5,000, I'll do this.
- 47:4810,000, I'll do this.
- 47:50Right?
- 47:51Well, I think it was 10,000.
- 47:54And if I get 10,000 hearts, I will write a song.
- 47:57Right?
- 47:59Well, I didn't really think that through.
- 48:02And so I got over 200,000 hearts on this TikTok.
- 48:07And I was like
- 48:08Only only more than 20.
- 48:10They're trying to make me freaking be Morgan Wallen with 30 on an on an album.
- 48:17Guys.
- 48:18You know?
- 48:19Well,
- 48:19you didn't say I'm gonna write a song for every 10,000 hearts that I get.
- 48:23You just said if I get 10, I'm gonna write a song.
- 48:26So they went No.
- 48:27No.
- 48:27It did say it did say for each this amount, he would write a new song.
- 48:325,000, it would he would learn a new cover.
- 48:35Yeah.
- 48:36So I learned I did learn a bunch of songs on that livestream too.
- 48:40Like, dude, I I'm serious.
- 48:41I'd break my guitar out, and I'm like, what do you want me to learn?
- 48:44Somebody was like, paint me a Birmingham.
- 48:46So I pull up, you know, Tracy Lawrence, paint paint me a Birmingham, learn it right there
- 48:49live on the stream.
- 48:51So, you know, it was fun.
- 48:52It was a good time.
- 48:53And that's actually what I said about that first song, nothing to lose because that was
- 48:57one of the ones you played that night acoustically.
- 48:59Yep.
- 49:00And I said, you know, that is such a different put together when you hear it completely
- 49:06acoustic because that's what I heard.
- 49:08You know?
- 49:09Right.
- 49:11Yeah.
- 49:11It's a you know, I put it together as an acoustic version at first and which made all
- 49:18the songs I did, but, yeah, that one, they actually released it as an acoustic version on
- 49:23all the streaming platforms first.
- 49:26And everybody loved it.
- 49:27Everybody thought it was, you know, a good song.
- 49:29And that one, you know, my mixing is not great, so I know they're kinda it's kinda like
- 49:34everything's crazy, and and some of them, the mix isn't great.
- 49:37But, I'm a tell you guys, you you at the end of the show, when you get to hear the new one,
- 49:43you're gonna be just gonna knock your freaking socks off.
- 49:45I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you.
- 49:47Like, for fair warning.
- 49:54I I think it's great, man.
- 49:57I love that you produced all these things yourself.
- 50:00I I love that this journey of yours has been so such a short trip.
- 50:05I mean, I know you've been playing music, and you've been writing songs for a while, but just
- 50:10this really stepping out and doing it, and the the praise isn't misplaced.
- 50:18Right?
- 50:18Like, you you got a great voice.
- 50:21You're not afraid to lay it out there for people.
- 50:23I love the TikTok story.
- 50:25Right?
- 50:25Just going out there and being willing to do that.
- 50:29That's gonna endear so many people to you.
- 50:31And, what was your following like before?
- 50:33You said it was like the third time you went live on TikTok ever.
- 50:36Like, what was that experience?
- 50:37You know?
- 50:38Like, not a huge following.
- 50:39It just went live and started doing it.
- 50:41Yeah.
- 50:42I mean, it it was so the the most I think the most interactions I had had on a livestream on
- 50:50TikTok before that was, like, 10,000, which is a good bit, but I was never difference between
- 50:5810 between 10 k and 300 k.
- 51:01Dude, when it goes from saying, like, one k on the video to saying point zero one m, like, I
- 51:10was like, mind blown, dude.
- 51:13I was like, holy crap, guys.
- 51:14And I think, Willie, you might have been there when I was losing my mind.
- 51:17I was like, guys, it says m now.
- 51:19It doesn't say k anymore.
- 51:21And I was just losing my mind.
- 51:22Like, it was it was awesome.
- 51:24Yeah.
- 51:24And I But I told them earlier.
- 51:27That was supposed to be a thirty minute hop in, and next thing I know, it was a six hour
- 51:31session.
- 51:33I'd, yeah, got yeah.
- 51:35Seriously, that livestream was six hours long.
- 51:37I took one pee break, guys.
- 51:39Chugging lemon juice like it was going out of style.
- 51:42I drank a
- 51:43whole man help.
- 51:45A whole freaking bottle of lemon juice.
- 51:47No no lie.
- 51:48I drank a whole bottle of it.
- 51:51Straight just straight lemon juice, uncut.
- 51:54I got a commenter that's that's on our, Facebook our our Facebook page, Nicole.
- 51:59Shout out to Nicole Spoden.
- 52:01She said to tell Dalton Jones he's amazing.
- 52:04So
- 52:05Thank you.
- 52:06Little can you give her a little shout out to Nicole Dalton?
- 52:09Nicole, thank you so much.
- 52:11Thank you so much.
- 52:12We really appreciate it.
- 52:13And, I I tell you, it's I I just love it when people
- 52:22There you go.
- 52:23Shout out to Nicole.
- 52:24Thank you.
- 52:25She's she's lighting up the hearts on my Facebook stream right now.
- 52:30Did we did we freeze up and lose Dalton again?
- 52:33That's because did.
- 52:36We broke his honor again, Nicole.
- 52:38Look at that.
- 52:39And, of course, we got Renee over here that says, she got Jason Aldean vibes from that last
- 52:45song.
- 52:46Yeah.
- 52:47Yeah.
- 52:47I I feel that.
- 52:48We're gonna pull Dalton off here, see if we can get that back.
- 52:51We're gonna throw Renee's comment up there.
- 52:55Renee, we we always appreciate you tapping in and dropping the comments.
- 53:00For sure.
- 53:01I definitely hear that Jason Aldine in there.
- 53:04He's got that country boy sound.
- 53:06Right?
- 53:06He he's got that, and that rock vibe to it.
- 53:09Right?
- 53:09That energy that, I I think it's it's got such a big place in country music right now.
- 53:17It's not all about the twang anymore with country music.
- 53:20It's changed so much.
- 53:21And I think that's because of the hole that's left, because rock music has gone so heavy and
- 53:27like so towards that that very heavy side that, it left this big hole where kind of like
- 53:34classic rock music used to be bands like Marshall Tucker and Skynyrd and all of these
- 53:40bands that while a lot of us grew up with, Right?
- 53:43You you don't have that sound in rock music anymore.
- 53:47You have it in country music.
- 53:49So, yeah, look at we had another commenter saying it gave her Jason Aldine vibes there,
- 53:56Dalton.
- 53:56What do you what do you think about that?
- 54:03I think he froze again.
- 54:05He froze immediately.
- 54:07I didn't add the stage.
- 54:08Dalton freezes.
- 54:12I swear I never talk badly about you again.
- 54:17The Internet.
- 54:21I don't I don't.
- 54:27Are we all talking pee pain right now?
- 54:30Or is it just me?
- 54:32Thank God it didn't do this on his TikTok livestream.
- 54:35Right?
- 54:37Well, Dalton, I think, I think we're gonna take this moment to, just play play the next track
- 54:42that you got.
- 54:43We're gonna listen to it while you get your stuff figured out there.
- 54:47And we appreciate everybody tuning in, dropping us comments in here, and thank you all so much.
- 54:54Nicole's still lighting up the hearts on my personal Facebook page.
- 54:57We appreciate you, Nicole.
- 54:59Thanks for tapping in.
- 55:01Make sure you're checking out the show on the scene projects page too, and you can come in
- 55:06and and be live in here with us and comment on this too.
- 55:09So
- 55:10This this next one is the love song he wrote for his wife that he was talking about earlier.
- 55:17It's called, she's what the lord gave me.
- 55:22We'll play it while we wait for him to come back.
- 1:00:18Alright.
- 1:00:19So I'm going with myself first.
- 1:00:21Color in the world.
- 1:00:22Well, next to Dalton.
- 1:00:23Dalton spelled his own name wrong.
- 1:00:24That's hilarious.
- 1:00:26Did I?
- 1:00:28Wait.
- 1:00:28Did I miss that?
- 1:00:30What did I miss?
- 1:00:31How what did I miss, really?
- 1:00:33Well, it's she's what the lord gave me.
- 1:00:36You have up there she what's the lord gave by No.
- 1:00:40My bad.
- 1:00:41My bad.
- 1:00:42See, that's why you should have previewed it, Bubba.
- 1:00:47You know, the the interest don't check everything.
- 1:00:49Willie does for now.
- 1:00:50I fucking love you southern boys, man.
- 1:00:53That a system.
- 1:00:55The farther you get down, it just
- 1:00:57That's why I use ChatGPT for everything.
- 1:01:01Okay?
- 1:01:02I love
- 1:01:03this show, man.
- 1:01:05Gotta write an email.
- 1:01:06ChatGPT make this email for me.
- 1:01:10That's hilarious.
- 1:01:11That is hilarious.
- 1:01:14Hey.
- 1:01:15We were asked why you were gone.
- 1:01:17Yep.
- 1:01:18They wanna know, did Boo Boo give you his Wi Fi?
- 1:01:23No.
- 1:01:24Uh-uh.
- 1:01:25Oh, man.
- 1:01:26I I do listen.
- 1:01:28I'm not saying anything else about boo boo's Wi Fi because I jinxed my own Wi Fi.
- 1:01:35You know, I'll be honest.
- 1:01:36So so to be honest with you, I'm almost positive.
- 1:01:39I know what the problem is, but it's in it's too much detail to go into.
- 1:01:45But long story short, AT and T sucks, and their backbone runs everything, every Internet
- 1:01:52company on the face of the planet.
- 1:01:53I know that because I used to work there, and they're having a lot of network issues here in
- 1:01:57the South.
- 1:01:58So I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
- 1:02:02Oh, man.
- 1:02:03I love doing this show live.
- 1:02:06I don't.
- 1:02:06You make fun of me.
- 1:02:07You never know what's gonna happen, man.
- 1:02:09It's like That's
- 1:02:09the best quarter, Willie.
- 1:02:11We we gotta fire Willie from anything that requires him to spell.
- 1:02:16That's right.
- 1:02:17Hey.
- 1:02:17You can't fire me.
- 1:02:18Quit.
- 1:02:19I quit.
- 1:02:20You better not quit.
- 1:02:22You're the backbone of this show.
- 1:02:24Oh my goodness.
- 1:02:26Man.
- 1:02:27Great song.
- 1:02:28Big song for your birthday.
- 1:02:30I don't care I don't care what Willie calls it, Dalton.
- 1:02:32I thought it was a great song.
- 1:02:34Phone now.
- 1:02:36It's doing it on my cell phone now.
- 1:02:38You're number one.
- 1:02:39That's they just don't want you to get famous.
- 1:02:42That's what it is.
- 1:02:44Dude, I'm telling you.
- 1:02:45I'm 100%.
- 1:02:46I know without us because I have an AT and T cell phone.
- 1:02:49I guarantee you they're probably doing some kind of conversion over here in the central
- 1:02:53office and moving switch connections, and it knocks things out for, like, ten, fifteen
- 1:02:58minutes.
- 1:02:59And they just so happen to do it at freaking 10:00 on Wednesday because nobody's got
- 1:03:05anything going on.
- 1:03:06Except us.
- 1:03:08It was so insane.
- 1:03:10Yeah.
- 1:03:11Oh,
- 1:03:12man.
- 1:03:13No, dude.
- 1:03:14I I I like that.
- 1:03:15So is that one of the ones that you're you're taking into the studio there?
- 1:03:20So that's not gonna be one of the first ones, but we will be.
- 1:03:23So I just I actually just wrote that song.
- 1:03:27It's it's probably less than a month and a half old.
- 1:03:32It's fresh.
- 1:03:33Yeah.
- 1:03:34It's fresh.
- 1:03:35So, yeah, I wrote that about my wife, man.
- 1:03:37We had a I had when I first started playing, I told my wife well, it's actually a couple years
- 1:03:43ago.
- 1:03:44I said, I'm gonna write a song about you before I started playing out and started writing it
- 1:03:49and then never finished.
- 1:03:50And she just said one day, hey.
- 1:03:52You never finished writing that song about me.
- 1:03:54And I said, you're right.
- 1:03:55And so I sat down and it is completely different than what it was originally gonna be,
- 1:04:01like the song I was originally gonna write.
- 1:04:03So the original song was kind of a more sappy set, you know, not sad, but like a sappy love
- 1:04:09song.
- 1:04:10And that one's not really to me, it's more like upbeat and kinda fun.
- 1:04:14You
- 1:04:14know?
- 1:04:15Oh,
- 1:04:17we don't have an award for this, but Renee wins comment of the night.
- 1:04:24Yo.
- 1:04:26Hey.
- 1:04:28How about you just bring you with the alphabet book, and I'll take both.
- 1:04:32Okay?
- 1:04:36I know her personally.
- 1:04:37I promise I'm not telling some random chick.
- 1:04:40Alright.
- 1:04:40We got the greatest fans in the world on this show.
- 1:04:44I'm not picking up on some random woman on YouTube.
- 1:04:47I promise I know her personally.
- 1:04:50Are you sure, Willie?
- 1:04:51We wouldn't put it past you anyway, Willie.
- 1:04:53Hey.
- 1:04:54Listen.
- 1:04:54I have
- 1:04:55no game.
- 1:04:55I have no game.
- 1:04:57Okay?
- 1:04:58Oh.
- 1:04:58I'm pretty sure my three year old has more game when I than I do.
- 1:05:02Okay?
- 1:05:03He ain't three yet.
- 1:05:04I that birthday's coming soon, but she
- 1:05:06is Sunday.
- 1:05:08She might as well be three.
- 1:05:09It's Sunday.
- 1:05:10Man, it's been so beautiful getting to watch, getting to watch your daughter grow up, right
- 1:05:17before my eye.
- 1:05:17She talks so well for two years old, man.
- 1:05:19She has conversations with me on the phone, and she tells me exactly how it's gonna be, man.
- 1:05:24So anytime you need to know who's the boss around Willie,
- 1:05:30Hey.
- 1:05:31She's talked to Dalton too.
- 1:05:33Dalton called me one day talking about, the show and all everything, and we were talking
- 1:05:38some other details over.
- 1:05:40And Shyanne comes up and says, who's that?
- 1:05:43I said, someone for the podcast.
- 1:05:44Oh, they're for the podcast?
- 1:05:46I wanna say hi.
- 1:05:51Look.
- 1:05:51Now we see two Daltons in the
- 1:05:53Do we bring them do we dare bring them both in?
- 1:05:57Yeah.
- 1:05:57Woah.
- 1:05:58Oh.
- 1:05:59Oh.
- 1:06:00Oh.
- 1:06:05It's too big.
- 1:06:06It's like, wait.
- 1:06:08There's two dolphins.
- 1:06:09Double dolphins.
- 1:06:10It's like
- 1:06:11it's like the it's like the spider.
- 1:06:19Oh,
- 1:06:21Man, so much fun.
- 1:06:24I am so glad.
- 1:06:26So what's crazy, Dalton, is that this was like one of the first ideas I had for a show.
- 1:06:33When I started my podcast back in, like, April.
- 1:06:38It was immediately where I was like, man, I wanna feature all these artists songs that I
- 1:06:42have and do, like, a little reaction.
- 1:06:44And I recorded a few with with my friend in his home studio with with him kinda as my cohost.
- 1:06:49And it went over great, but it was just it was hard to find, people that I wanted to kind of
- 1:06:54do the show with.
- 1:06:55Right?
- 1:06:56And I was just I was gone a lot, and it was hard to get me settled down.
- 1:07:00And now having, you know, Willie and Boo Boo around me all the time.
- 1:07:06We're always talking on the Internet, right?
- 1:07:08Like we're all we're on zoom or we're on this or something where, it finally came down to
- 1:07:14where I was kind of off the road, and my wife started working the bowling alley again, and
- 1:07:18she works on Wednesday nights.
- 1:07:20So I just I'm kind of sitting here twiddling my thumbs anyway.
- 1:07:23So I've turned that into like our our Momo meetups are Midwest Original music
- 1:07:27organization.
- 1:07:28We meet every Sunday at seven, and it's just kind of a networking hang not much different
- 1:07:33than this, right?
- 1:07:34It's kind of the same concept.
- 1:07:36Get together with with other musicians and people.
- 1:07:40You know, talk about what you're going through.
- 1:07:41We get to share a lot of what we're doing because it's hard for everyone to see it.
- 1:07:46Right?
- 1:07:46Like, everybody's so busy, and social media is so hit and miss that, if you're not connecting
- 1:07:52with people on a personal level, like you just don't know what somebody's up to.
- 1:07:56Right And that's why I love doing the podcast is because even if I follow someone, I don't
- 1:08:02know everything that's going on in the last few months since we talked so really, know, you
- 1:08:06just because you've been a guest on the podcast once or, you know, twice or three times on the
- 1:08:11network in one week, it doesn't mean that we don't want to talk to you two or three months
- 1:08:15down the road because everybody's careers are changing so fast.
- 1:08:19And Right.
- 1:08:20You know, especially somebody like you that is fresh to the scene.
- 1:08:23You're just really starting to play out.
- 1:08:25You're just getting in the studio working with big name producers.
- 1:08:29I mean, this guy's got connections to a lot of heavy hitters in the industry that he can pass
- 1:08:34these songs off.
- 1:08:35And because he's working on them with you, he's putting his blood, sweat, and tears into it as
- 1:08:39well that if he's proud enough of it and thinks it's got a chance, he's gonna hand it into some
- 1:08:44people that are gonna be like, hey, man.
- 1:08:46Listen to this one that I just did.
- 1:08:47What do you think of this?
- 1:08:48And you never know what those opportunities are going to lead to man.
- 1:08:52So we're thrilled to get to hang with you and, to get to be a little part of your career and
- 1:08:59hopefully get to meet you in May if we can get you up to Missouri for a big show that me and
- 1:09:04Willie are are working on.
- 1:09:06And, man, I I just I just I love this show more and more the longer that we do it.
- 1:09:13Like and it's been three weeks.
- 1:09:16Right.
- 1:09:18Actually, he's our first guest that isn't related to the network, really.
- 1:09:23Yeah.
- 1:09:23He's practically related at this point, man.
- 1:09:25I've spent more time with him than I have with my kids the last day and a half.
- 1:09:29Well, this is true.
- 1:09:30I talked to him on Messenger a lot.
- 1:09:34Yeah.
- 1:09:34It's, you know, well, you
- 1:09:35know,
- 1:09:35it's it's it's kinda a similar thing, and I think, you know, Bubba, you and I talked about
- 1:09:41it on your show yesterday, but, you know, the it's it's like the guys down here that I I did
- 1:09:48the podcast with that they're they're kind of doing a similar thing, you know, with trying to
- 1:09:54support local independent artists and you know, it's kind of one of those things like they're
- 1:10:00trying to help the artist grow and they're trying to grow what they're doing at the same
- 1:10:04time.
- 1:10:04It's kind of like a you scratch my back, I scratch your kind of thing and you know, I I've
- 1:10:10ever since I came into this space and I found that unfortunately, there's a lot of musicians
- 1:10:17that look at it like a competition.
- 1:10:19And to me, it's like, dude, I don't care.
- 1:10:23Like, and not that I don't care but I don't because it's it's not a competition.
- 1:10:28I want all musicians to have success and you know, it's just like on Facebook and stuff.
- 1:10:34I've got musicians that I've made friends with that I share their stuff or it's like, hey,
- 1:10:41I'll have a venue.
- 1:10:41Call me up and they're like, hey, Dalton.
- 1:10:43I need you to, can you do this show for me?
- 1:10:45I had a cancellation.
- 1:10:46No, I didn't but hey, I know somebody that will.
- 1:10:48Let me call em real quick and so, you know, I call and and plug in some of my friends that
- 1:10:53are musicians.
- 1:10:54So, you know, I just think that it's it's it's not, it's almost like a fraternity but at the
- 1:11:02same time, it's like some people in the fraternity want to help each other out and then
- 1:11:06some don't which I think that's with anything, honestly, but I I just I I like helping people
- 1:11:12and want to be a support mechanism to people.
- 1:11:15So, when I meet folks like you guys and what you're doing, it just, it's, it's really
- 1:11:20awesome to see that, and I'm always a 100% forward being a part of anything like that.
- 1:11:25Even if Is that a Dalton Jones hat?
- 1:11:29It is.
- 1:11:29Well, it says Jones in on it.
- 1:11:32Yeah.
- 1:11:32I'm gonna need one of those.
- 1:11:35We hey.
- 1:11:35Can I get one of those?
- 1:11:37Yeah.
- 1:11:38So we have a, we actually have a merchandise, website.
- 1:11:42It's it's, so the it's gonna be, I'll drop it in the chat for you guys if one of y'all wants
- 1:11:49to put
- 1:11:49it up.
- 1:11:49Copy and paste it in the banner, man.
- 1:11:51We got you.
- 1:11:53I think I can handle a copy and paste.
- 1:11:55I ain't gotta spell anything.
- 1:11:58I wasn't gonna say anything but.
- 1:12:02Mean Who who was?
- 1:12:04I think that's it.
- 1:12:05You already knew.
- 1:12:07Hey.
- 1:12:07With a name like boo boo that falls off a bike, I think I can handle it.
- 1:12:11He didn't just fall off, dude.
- 1:12:13He's gone face first off of that thing a couple of times.
- 1:12:17So wait is boo boo a biker name?
- 1:12:19First one time Bubba.
- 1:12:22One time.
- 1:12:23You sound like a vroom vroom bike like a pedal bike Dalton.
- 1:12:27Oh well, I was gonna say I I have a I my biker name used to be Tumbleweed.
- 1:12:36That was my biker name.
- 1:12:37Yeah.
- 1:12:37And it's primarily because I had a I I wrecked my bike, and I flipped my car and totaled it
- 1:12:45all within the span of like two weeks.
- 1:12:49And You're comfortable.
- 1:12:50Yeah.
- 1:12:51Yeah.
- 1:12:51And so we had this lady that rode with us.
- 1:12:54We all called her mama.
- 1:12:56She was just the most phenomenal person.
- 1:12:58And we go I go to this this bonfire, cookout, whatever you want to call it.
- 1:13:03I get there and I had just had the wreck on my bike.
- 1:13:07It wasn't bad.
- 1:13:07I just kind of dropped it.
- 1:13:09And she goes, you're tumbleweed.
- 1:13:12And it was kinda bestowed upon me.
- 1:13:13It's almost like I was knighted into it.
- 1:13:15So there you go.
- 1:13:16There's the there's my story about my biker days.
- 1:13:19That's awesome.
- 1:13:19Well, as a biker, I I grew up in Deadwood, South Dakota, right down the road from Sturgis.
- 1:13:25I was just out during the rally.
- 1:13:27I was out at the Buffalo Chip Campground ten days in a row, man, tearing it up and capturing
- 1:13:33content, and I love that.
- 1:13:35I love the fraternity.
- 1:13:36You talk about fraternities, right?
- 1:13:38And the brotherhood of bikers, collectively, and you know, obviously, you have a lot of
- 1:13:44clubs and different things.
- 1:13:45And you know, they get the reputation for fighting all the time.
- 1:13:49But I think, you hit on something there that it's a It's a family man.
- 1:13:54If you're on a bike, you mean something to somebody, and they don't have to know you.
- 1:14:00They don't have to know a thing about you to know that you're a brother or you're a sister.
- 1:14:05And that's what, you know, I'm not a biker myself.
- 1:14:09Not necessarily.
- 1:14:09Know, my dad wasn't really in that thing.
- 1:14:11We just wanted to live in the woods, but to grow up in that environment and to see it.
- 1:14:17And at one point, I thought I might get a motorcycle.
- 1:14:20Thank God I didn't when I was in my twenties, because I would have laid it on his side who
- 1:14:23knows how many times and probably not made it to this point in my life.
- 1:14:26And now my wife's like, yeah.
- 1:14:27No.
- 1:14:28You're never getting a motorcycle.
- 1:14:31That's okay.
- 1:14:32I appreciate her.
- 1:14:33I appreciate
- 1:14:34her for that.
- 1:14:35I want one.
- 1:14:36I ain't gonna lie.
- 1:14:38I want one too.
- 1:14:39I just gotta wait till, Shanann's a little older.
- 1:14:43I
- 1:14:44will tell you, you know, I I've still got mine.
- 1:14:49It doesn't run.
- 1:14:49It's sitting in my shop collecting dust right now as we speak.
- 1:14:53But you know, it it is it like you said, I mean, it really is kind of like a fraternity as
- 1:14:59well and you know, I met some of the most amazing people and a lot of people don't know
- 1:15:04it but you know, but bikers and motorcy cycles are one of the most giving groups of people on
- 1:15:10the planet.
- 1:15:11Like, they donate so much money and raise so much money for just great causes.
- 1:15:16I actually got to be a part of a a charity concert with one of our local emcees here and
- 1:15:23they were raising money for this little girl that had a brain tumor, and she just had
- 1:15:26surgery.
- 1:15:27Well, that tumor has come back now, and so she just started chemotherapy.
- 1:15:32Today was her first treatment.
- 1:15:34Shout out to Brendle.
- 1:15:35But she is, she's fighting the good fight, but, we, we did that, presentation for her and, or
- 1:15:44did that that show for her and now we're, trying to get something going again.
- 1:15:50Awesome, Dalton.
- 1:15:51We dropped boo boo, so that's a great time for us to cut to some more music.
- 1:15:55You you sent in a clip of some stuff that you were working on today.
- 1:16:00Yeah.
- 1:16:01We want to we wanna showcase some of this new stuff and to really get to to see what the
- 1:16:08future of Dalton Jones music is gonna be.
- 1:16:12What's what's the name of the track?
- 1:16:14I'll type this one up.
- 1:16:15Yeah.
- 1:16:15I got you with
- 1:16:16it.
- 1:16:16Yes.
- 1:16:17So so this one, of course, it's not.
- 1:16:19It's unreleased, but this is right here in the South.
- 1:16:23I got it right.
- 1:16:25And it's it's it's a brand new song.
- 1:16:29We just just wrote it not but a cup maybe a month or so ago.
- 1:16:33And I tell you, I I if I I've released music already, but I would really like to call this
- 1:16:40my debut single.
- 1:16:42And I I I think it just it has that attitude, that that vibe that I'm going for.
- 1:16:49And, I can tell you, man, the producer, he nailed it today, when we did the song.
- 1:16:54And, like I said, this is just a little clip.
- 1:16:58It's not finished yet.
- 1:16:59They still we still got a master and everything else.
- 1:17:01So this is just a mix, But his mix is as good as a lot of people's masters.
- 1:17:07So just enjoy it.
- 1:17:47That might be the end of it.
- 1:17:48I think it was only, like, forty five seconds.
- 1:17:50Yeah.
- 1:17:50That is the end of it.
- 1:17:52Yeah.
- 1:17:52But, man, it's easy to yeah.
- 1:17:56Night and day difference between the self produced stuff.
- 1:17:59Right?
- 1:18:00Yeah.
- 1:18:01Yeah.
- 1:18:01That's that's what a guy that works in Nashville with major artists.
- 1:18:06That's what that's what it they'll do for you.
- 1:18:08Is that you playing the guitar parts, the all the guitar parts on that, or is that a band of
- 1:18:12yours or studio musicians?
- 1:18:14What's that?
- 1:18:16Dude, so that was the engineer.
- 1:18:20All of it.
- 1:18:21He cut the entire track today in the studio, like, on the spot.
- 1:18:27Like, I I
- 1:18:28get in there
- 1:18:28this morning.
- 1:18:29I told him, I said, dude, he said, what song are you wanting to do?
- 1:18:33I told him.
- 1:18:33He said, alright.
- 1:18:34I'm pulling the demo up because he had all my demo tracks for all the music I've done.
- 1:18:39And he said, alright.
- 1:18:40I'm pulling the demo track up so he listens to it.
- 1:18:43Immediately starts cutting the track, dude.
- 1:18:45And when I say he did everything, he did the keys.
- 1:18:48He did the acoustic guitar.
- 1:18:50He did the electric guitar, the bass, the drums, everything right there on the spot.
- 1:18:55Like, by 12:00 today, I think, or, like, one of 01:00.
- 1:18:59He had the track was done.
- 1:19:01Like, it was cut, ready
- 1:19:02to go.
- 1:19:02Was he playing the physical instruments, or
- 1:19:05is this Oh,
- 1:19:06Oh, so he just he's making the song physically in the studio in front of your eyes, and all
- 1:19:12you have to do is go in there and sing.
- 1:19:14Yeah.
- 1:19:15Dude, you
- 1:19:16What a guy.
- 1:19:16I'm driving from
- 1:19:18Freaking talented, man.
- 1:19:20I'm telling you, he is stupid talented.
- 1:19:23And, like, I'm sitting there, dude.
- 1:19:26He's got this, like his studio is, like, the perfect studio vibe.
- 1:19:30I mean, he's got this couch that you sit down in.
- 1:19:32It, like, just envelops you as you sit down on it.
- 1:19:34And like, I'm just sitting there and I'm just like posted up like this the whole time and
- 1:19:40like every time he turns around, he's he's he's got a guy that he's training to help him in the
- 1:19:44studio and he looks over there at me and I'm just like, I'm like, I'm I'm giddy, man.
- 1:19:48I'm losing my mind And every time he would turn around and look at me, I'm like, he finally
- 1:19:54said, you like that?
- 1:19:55I said, dude, it's badass.
- 1:19:58This is it's badass.
- 1:20:00That was the only way I could put it.
- 1:20:02So what did he build any of this stuff beforehand, or was this he was going and, like,
- 1:20:07I'm gonna track the drums.
- 1:20:08Okay.
- 1:20:08Now I'm gonna go back, and I'm gonna track the guitar.
- 1:20:10Oh, no.
- 1:20:11So you're just literally watching him change instruments around, switch it all up, and build
- 1:20:16your song.
- 1:20:17Sounds freaking incredible, man.
- 1:20:19Yep.
- 1:20:19It will.
- 1:20:20And the great thing about it is, you know, of course, he didn't play the physical physical
- 1:20:24drums, so he he actually tracked all of his own drum samples.
- 1:20:28So, like, he he brought his drum set in there and created his his drum kit in samples and so
- 1:20:35that's how he made the drum beat but everything else, man, he actually played the acoustic
- 1:20:41guitar.
- 1:20:41He played the electric guitar and like the whole, he goes through the whole process with
- 1:20:44you and he's sitting there and he's like, do you like this?
- 1:20:48Or do you would you rather he and he he would give me options.
- 1:20:51He's like he he play this.
- 1:20:53He's like you like that or we can do this.
- 1:20:55Hold on.
- 1:20:56I'm just like it all sounds great.
- 1:20:59I don't even know what to pick and like it.
- 1:21:03The funny thing, I think the funniest thing and I think I can share this with you guys.
- 1:21:07Funniest thing throughout the whole day is originally we were looking at kicking off some
- 1:21:12like really awesome, just nasty like slide guitar in that song.
- 1:21:18And he's like, I'll be honest with you, I'm not the best slide player.
- 1:21:22And he was like, but he started playing without the slide, and he he does this little lick, and
- 1:21:27then he hits a solo real quick, and it was kinda like he was trying to give me a taste.
- 1:21:31So I would say I want that.
- 1:21:32And then he plays this just freaking just shreds on this solo, and you didn't get to hear
- 1:21:38the solo in that clip.
- 1:21:39I wish I could.
- 1:21:40I need to send you a clip with the solo in it because it's just disgusting.
- 1:21:44But I was like no more slide.
- 1:21:47I want that solo.
- 1:21:50Like, that's been my goal all along is when I start, you know, playing full time with the
- 1:21:57band.
- 1:21:58Like, I wanna have a lead guitarist that is just freaking nuts to the wall like we'll just
- 1:22:05shred and tear up the neck of a guitar and I can just stand back and be like.
- 1:22:10Like that's what I want.
- 1:22:13So I had that and we shared it on the first episode of love noise we did, but I've been
- 1:22:17working on some tracks in the studio, with some friends of mine out out in Rapid City, South
- 1:22:23Dakota, and the engineer played the drums.
- 1:22:26He's played the guitar on him and some of my songs he's he's saying on him.
- 1:22:30He can do it all right.
- 1:22:31But we were able to, we were able to get our good friend Johnny Hastings, who's a foot he's
- 1:22:36I say he's my favorite guitar player because I've seen him play live for twenty years now.
- 1:22:41I've watched his evolution to where the the man has a relationship with this instrument.
- 1:22:46Right?
- 1:22:47That is beyond anything that I've ever built with my instruments.
- 1:22:51And, I kind of, had him sent him some songs.
- 1:22:55It was like, hey, man.
- 1:22:56You know, rip a fat lead on this or do they, you know, kind of build this in.
- 1:23:01And I remember when he sent them back to me and just raw tracks like unmixed nothing.
- 1:23:06And he, plays them for me, and I'm just like I'm in tears.
- 1:23:12Right?
- 1:23:12Just like I'm so happy to hear it and to be, there in that moment, man, was just freaking
- 1:23:21crazy, man.
- 1:23:21So I I know the feeling that that you've been riding on all day, and, what a joy to have you,
- 1:23:28on the show, when it's all still fresh, right?
- 1:23:32It's really that's what this show is about.
- 1:23:36Right?
- 1:23:36Like that is exactly what, this thing is supposed to be and and where we want to, take
- 1:23:44things in the future.
- 1:23:47Dalton, you mind if I play a song for you and see what you think about one of my songs?
- 1:23:51Can I play the song?
- 1:23:52I'd love yeah.
- 1:23:53Absolutely, brother.
- 1:23:54Well, because actually, I didn't play the mixed version when we were on the show.
- 1:23:59I played the, I just had the unmixed kind of raw tracks.
- 1:24:03But, look at all these guys are dropping like flies anyway.
- 1:24:07Alright.
- 1:24:09It's just
- 1:24:09me and Dalton now.
- 1:24:11Well, we don't need them anyway, dude.
- 1:24:14That might make this a part of every show, and I get to share a little bit of my music with
- 1:24:19everybody.
- 1:24:19And actually, the song you heard at the top of the show, that intro, that's one of my songs
- 1:24:24called Rise Up that I actually work
- 1:24:26with with the
- 1:24:27When I heard that song playing, was like
- 1:24:30that sounds like Bubba.
- 1:24:33That sounds like Bubba.
- 1:24:34And so I'm glad that you told me it was you.
- 1:24:36Yeah, I guess hey, I can.
- 1:24:39That's one thing like I may not be the best guitar player and I may not, you know, I I I
- 1:24:44know I've got a good voice, but I don't.
- 1:24:46I know I don't have like the greatest voice ever, but like when I hear people like I can
- 1:24:50pick voices out, I can pick tone, you know, it's I can pick those tones out.
- 1:24:54Well, and that's what I kinda realized because I feel the same way, brother.
- 1:24:57I'm I'm not the greatest guitar player, and that's why I kinda always try to, like, hire
- 1:25:00guys, especially on the studio versions because I don't have any studio experience.
- 1:25:04It's a different animal, man.
- 1:25:06It's a totally different animal.
- 1:25:08And I've played some guitar on this, but this is a song called Drifter and my buddy Johnny
- 1:25:12Hastings, tore it up on this song, and I'm really excited to play this for you and to get
- 1:25:20your thoughts, man.
- 1:25:21So this
- 1:27:36Alright.
- 1:27:36We don't have to listen to the whole thing, man, but I I just wanted to hear that knowing
- 1:27:40how much you love guitar playing.
- 1:27:42Man, I love that funky blues, like, solo, man.
- 1:27:45Like, and and the doc like, it's it's to me, that's like a doc rock, like, almost like a
- 1:27:52it's like a
- 1:27:53It's swampy.
- 1:27:54Right?
- 1:27:54It it's got Yeah.
- 1:27:55It's like like Jimmy Buffett crossed with some freaking blues, man.
- 1:27:59Like, it's different.
- 1:28:01It's different to market.
- 1:28:03Yeah.
- 1:28:03It was funny.
- 1:28:04Dalton, I wrote that song in prison.
- 1:28:07Think No
- 1:28:08way.
- 1:28:09About my life and where I'd been and and all the running that I'd done in life and, you
- 1:28:15know, kind of nothing to lose.
- 1:28:16And the theme of that song kind of reminded me of that.
- 1:28:20But the what you get to in the second verse is like time has changed my ways.
- 1:28:26I've left my drifting days behind.
- 1:28:27Right?
- 1:28:28I'm a family man.
- 1:28:28Now I'm watching my kids grow up, and I'm doing all these things.
- 1:28:32And, you know, that was the big impetus for me, you know, coming back and biting the bullet.
- 1:28:37Like, I was I was on the run for a year in Mexico, Dalton, before I came back and, like,
- 1:28:42knowing I was going to prison, right, and knowing I had that time ahead of me.
- 1:28:46And, so that song really came out in that time frame.
- 1:28:50And then to be able to this is the first time I've ever recorded it.
- 1:28:54It's just been a song in my head for, you know, like, seven, eight years.
- 1:28:58Right?
- 1:28:58Or and my wife had heard it, and she'd always been a big fan of that one.
- 1:29:03And then, when we went to record this, and I knew I was recording these tracks, it was like,
- 1:29:09this has gotta be this has gotta be one of them, you know?
- 1:29:12And Right.
- 1:29:13We had had the we built we did the guitar tracks and the drum tracks and the rhythm
- 1:29:18guitar tracks in just one shot.
- 1:29:20We all kinda got together.
- 1:29:21I had the the bass player, Diame Giroux, and the drummer is the engineer, Tom Freer.
- 1:29:26We're at his studio, Cottonwood Studios.
- 1:29:28And we literally, like, ran through the song twice, and then it was like, okay.
- 1:29:32Let's hit record.
- 1:29:33And and we got the base of the song, and I was like, that sounds good, man.
- 1:29:37Cool.
- 1:29:37And then, you know, four or five months later, Johnny has the tracks, the guitar player, and I
- 1:29:44didn't know what he was gonna do.
- 1:29:45I wasn't there when he did them.
- 1:29:46He did them, you know, at his home studio, and he sends them back like, Oh, man, let me know
- 1:29:50what you think.
- 1:29:51And I'm just like Tears streaming down my face listening and like, Oh, my God, like, that's my
- 1:29:57song.
- 1:29:57That's that's my song, you know?
- 1:30:01And yeah, we're in the final mixing that one's pretty much ready to go now and ready to rock
- 1:30:07out there.
- 1:30:08And, I don't know what you know if it's gonna go on the vinyl or what we're gonna do with it.
- 1:30:15But, I'm really, I'm I'm really proud of it, man.
- 1:30:20So when I say like, know that feeling that you're swimming in
- 1:30:23today.
- 1:30:23Yeah.
- 1:30:24Right?
- 1:30:24Like, I know it intimately, and I know it very recently, and you really epitomize, what this
- 1:30:32show is about and why the scene projects have evolved.
- 1:30:35Like, so much of, of what I've built was to meet to meet guys like you.
- 1:30:41Right?
- 1:30:42And and to to bring you on, to share your story, to share your art, to BS with the boys.
- 1:30:49Right?
- 1:30:50And and to to get some shots in when you can and just to have a good time, talking music and
- 1:30:57sharing our passion, man.
- 1:30:59So, Dalton, I think everybody else is pretty much tapped out on us in one way or another.
- 1:31:04I wanna thank you so much for coming on the show tonight, for sharing the new music.
- 1:31:09We're also excited.
- 1:31:10Nicole Spoden is on my Facebook.
- 1:31:13She says you need to check out her video and photography stuff.
- 1:31:17It seems like she really wants to work with you, and,
- 1:31:19she's been a
- 1:31:20big fan of everything we've been doing.
- 1:31:23Man, you've made a lot of new fans tonight.
- 1:31:25Number one sitting right here in front of you, brother.
- 1:31:28It's been a pleasure getting to know you, and, let's, let's let's not be strangers, man.
- 1:31:35I hope to see you on the original music organization meetups and keep sharing the wins
- 1:31:41with us.
- 1:31:41And, brother, I just, I can't be more proud of you, man.
- 1:31:45You're doing it, and I think there's only, the there's only your your imagination is the only
- 1:31:52limitation that you have.
- 1:31:54So as far as you want to take it, I think it's all possible for you, brother.
- 1:31:58So keep on pushing.
- 1:32:00Thank you for being here tonight, and thank you for being part of the scene, man.
- 1:32:05Man, I know I I appreciate you and, all the the kind words.
- 1:32:10And, man, I loved your song too.
- 1:32:12Man, that was awesome.
- 1:32:14I appreciate you for sharing it with us and, yeah, it's it's just awesome.
- 1:32:18I, like I said, I I really appreciate you guys giving me the chance to come on here with you
- 1:32:23and I definitely definitely will stay in touch.
- 1:32:25We're definitely going to keep sharing and doing doing things.
- 1:32:29So, I hope hope we have a full album out soon and we can get on here and talk about that,
- 1:32:36man, and talk about how it's playing on the radio.
- 1:32:38That's what I'd love
- 1:32:39to hear.
- 1:32:39Well, you know what?
- 1:32:40Your songs are already going on the scene projects radio, brother.
- 1:32:43You're you're already there, that's in essence, that's what we're trying to get to.
- 1:32:48I hope you get all the terrestrial radio play that you deserve with this thing that the doors
- 1:32:53continue to open for you.
- 1:32:54And I hope I get to see you May 16 out there in Summersville, Missouri at this beautiful
- 1:32:59campground.
- 1:33:00It's called Captain Jack's, brother.
- 1:33:01It's out in the middle of the Ozarks.
- 1:33:03It's freaking beautiful.
- 1:33:05It's owned by some beautiful people, some good friends of ours.
- 1:33:08Shout out to Leo and Carrie Fiala.
- 1:33:11They built a great thing, man, and I got to meet.
- 1:33:13That's where I met Willie.
- 1:33:15That's where I met a lot of really amazing people out there in Central Missouri, and, it's
- 1:33:20gonna be a big spot for us, and I really look forward to that kind of being like kind of the
- 1:33:25central hub of the scene project.
- 1:33:27Right?
- 1:33:27It's kind of out there in the middle of nowhere, but in the middle of everything at the
- 1:33:32same time.
- 1:33:33So, Man, Dalton.
- 1:33:35Willie, since you pop back on, you got any closing closing thoughts?
- 1:33:40Dalton, I said this earlier, buddy.
- 1:33:41I I couldn't be more proud of you and seeing Justin a little bit of time we've known each
- 1:33:46other, how far y'all have gone, you have gone, and I will forever be in your corner, buddy,
- 1:33:54promoting the hell out of you.
- 1:33:57You know?
- 1:33:57Don't say that.
