- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to the show, Sarah.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, thanks for having me.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: One less than a week, less than a week away.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And we've been waiting for this since fucking the day after the 2024 election.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that is true.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: What God, you know, I will say, I mean, we're going to talk about this at length, as well as other things going on.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think that when you take a look at everything that's happened and a lot of it's, you know, most of it's just fucking egregious.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just be real.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's been destructive, it's been violent, it's been horrific.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: He pretty much kept his promises when it comes to all the shitty things that he was going to do.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously not with not being a, you know, the president who was going to get us out of all the wars and everything, but or not start to need new wars, but I think that what we're working with now and what we can see and we've been saying this all along is the Republicans really fucked up in that they did not boil the frog, they threw the frog into boiling water and you've got a mindset in this country.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: where you are literally indoctrinated from birth to believe you're free, and it is the thing that America prides itself on more than anything in for good reason, right?
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: We should.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: But we're not free right now.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: We're living in a dictatorship, and they're not very smart.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're not understanding human psychology, because human psychology would dictate that they do
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm wondering if you're feeling like that because I do think that we're, you know, all the metrics are pointing to the Democrats are at the very least going to take the house.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's a, you know, there's a good chance that we could take the Senate.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: What are you feeling?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm feeling good.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, I actually do feel really good about it.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: Unless there's some sort of tampering.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: There will be, though.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: So that's my only concern as if it's the election security.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: But as far as, like,
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: you know what we're hearing all of that like I feel like I'm feeling pretty good about you know voter turnout's high especially for Democrats and that's really that's I mean usually for Democrats it's higher in early voting anyway because Republicans tend to vote same day on the on election day so yeah I guess we're gonna find out what I do feel good I feel like Georgia's gonna be very blue I feel like we're gonna pick up some blue seeds
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like, yeah, I feel like a lasquer is going to go our way, yeah, it feels good.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think about Texas?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think Talorico is going to do it in Lasquer.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I mean, unless there's some sort of the various play at hand.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: And there is, there is.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think, I think Dems are going to take it.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't, what's that?
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Ellen?
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's not Rickman, who's the guy who always guesses the elections?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know who I'm talking about and gets it right?
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't know.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember his name.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's like Alan's something.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I saw him recently talk about the getting quiz.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's been, he has a record of getting elections accurate.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so, and this is within respected political, he's not a psychic.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: So um, anyway, and I am going to mention a psychic in a minute, but uh, he was saying that Texas where he is holding it right now is between toss-up and I think it was toss-up and lean blue.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a very, very, very, very, that sounds right.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think it's, I do think it's absolutely possible.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're right, like if they're successful, if the race is like say close enough, and it makes it easier to cheat.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: So it's Texas, and we don't know.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I think I also wanted to ask you because I just, and he's not a mask is involved.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I just saw that South Carolina's now a toss up, and I don't remember who claimed that,
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: because there's all these pollsters or whatever.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, that's a big one, too, because it's Lindsey Graham's sister.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: What do you have any feeling about that?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't been following that race too closely.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's absolutely ridiculous that his sister is running.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, is that like, what's for qualifications?
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, I'm, is like, are we a monarchy?
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like, exactly.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: Go to the next and line.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't think it's ridiculous.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, I just thought of something and so I'm going to bring this up right now because I want to make this really clear, just because I brought up Lindsey Graham.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, earlier this week, we found out that Lindsey Graham had sex with basically who he raped underage male prostitutes.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: You can say that those underage male prostitutes consented, but legally speaking they're not allowed to consent.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: So it is rape.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: I was saying this because years ago, somebody who I'm not going to, and frankly, I don't even remember his name, but I mean, I was like, when Twitter was super happening before Elon took it, I was friendly with somebody who used to work on the Hill and he privately messaged me and he was like, here's the deal with Lindsey Graham.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: he paid for sex with underage male prostitutes and this was fairly common knowledge for people at that time on the who worked on the hill.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: So when I heard that I was like yeah that makes total sense because nobody gives a shit about the fact that he was gay, nobody cares.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: But they would care about this and there was that meeting with Donald Trump on the green where Lindsey Graham looked like he got punched in the gut.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure Trump was like, it wouldn't be a shame if everybody found out you basically raped children.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: So, or, you know, raped under age minors, whatever.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's so interesting coming from Trump, but yeah.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, I think that's what he did because he has he had because it doesn't matter that he did it.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: We know you did it.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so you better be loyal to me.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: And we all know what Lindsey Graham said in 2016, if Trump becomes the nominee, he's going to destroy the party.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exactly what he did.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then Lindsey Graham swam up that guy's ass.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: So it was all about the fact that, you know, he was buying sex from minors.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now, when this news came out, the thing that really fucking pissed me off was everybody rolled their eyes.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, tell me something I don't know.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, nobody was saying he was buying sex from minors.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what people were saying.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, he's gay, we know who cares.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's all anybody ever fucking said.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm sure other people knew that he did this, but it wasn't the common knowledge that I saw the eye rollers saying, and acting like this was boring.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: What's boring is he's gay?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody fucking cares.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's going to be rolling our eyes at the fact that he's...
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that fucking raped minors and not only that the president of the United States used it as blackmail That's the story and I feel like it got washed away because everybody was so busy going oh I already knew that.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: That makes me angry.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's really fascinating Yeah, that's a good.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there were a lot of I rulers.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I might have been one of them I first because I hadn't heard the minor part yet, but yeah, that's
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, I mean, I think it's like, yeah, who cares if he's gay, everyone knows everyone knows and nobody cares if he's mad and lends you.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like nobody knows.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: It was like the worst kept secret.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, it's like a horse.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: I know what it cares.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, you know, it really bumps me out because what it is is it's the influencer crowd that was doing it.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it was, and it's basically, oh, I knew before everyone else.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: boring next I think we should be making a much bigger deal out of fact that that was just accepted and you know within that regime within this regime but it wasn't.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: It just went under the radar and now it's old news and nobody's talking about it and it's over and it's just it's like it's extremely hypocritical of all those fucking liberals who are really upset about Donald Trump for you know raping children.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I mean, I know that Lindsay's dead now.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: So there's nothing that can be done.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it's at least worth a conversation.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of like, oh, yeah, I already knew boring.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, I just... Yeah, I think that's it.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: I get it.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, it makes a lot of sense to the fact that it was used as blackmail, which influenced everything.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: They're all about blackmail and and speaking for that.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: I also have to make this point which I did not have in my notes because recently Bill Mar was talking to Caroline love it and swimming up her ass and swimming at Trump's ass And I guess he just met Trump and he's like, yeah, we need a ballroom.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going with Bill Mar is compromised and the reason I say that and I know that there are a lot of people who roll their eyes that they go none.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Everything is about complimented.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, oh my god.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's the fucking mob.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: It is the inter-national mob.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: This is how it works.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: This is how the mob, the Italian mob works.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: This is how Donald Trump works.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: They all fucking get information on each other and use it against each other.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the naive people who are getting thinking they're so fucking high and mighty to roll your eyes at people who are suggesting blackmail.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: So I just know fucking time for those people.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: But the reason why I think Bill Mart is compromised is number one, he's fucking Bill Mart.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: He was at the Playboy Mansion.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: He dates all the fucking young women.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's a dick dick.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Even when I love to show, I thought he was a fucking dick.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: Always.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: Never had a female writer.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: I knew he was a dick from that moment.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and there's a misogynist.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a good person.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: There's an actress I know who, I don't know if she's told the story publicly, so I'm not going to say her name, but she was a working actress and was somewhere at some event with Bill Mar was there and her young, very young daughter was there and he was saying inappropriate things about the young daughter.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: My father worked with him.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: because my father worked for ABC News and I don't know they did a thing where they were interviewing him and Bill Ma was a dick the entire time and you know both my father and I enjoyed watching his show but we thought he was a dick so anyway he gave this is why I think he's compromised he gave Obama a million dollars right and while I'm sure
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he said it hurt, I don't think it hurt.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was just like, oh, that, you know, he had enough money to give him a million dollars.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: So he gave a million dollars in 2012.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's been warning us about a slow moving coup, fascist right-wing coup, four years and years.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's been saying it, and he fucking sued Trump.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: or did Trump know Trump sued him.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then I think he lost and you know, Bill Moore and all of a sudden now, Bill thinks he's this great guy.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe it.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe it.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then people say to me, why can't he just be a dick?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Why does it have to be about blackmail?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, in order to be blackmailed, you have to do something bad, which makes you a bad person.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: So that whole argument is, why can't he just be a bad person without it meaning blackmail?
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: This is how this whole fucking, this is how they all work.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: And Bill Mart is a bad person.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's incredibly smart and occasionally he can be funny.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think this is just about, you know, I think Joe Walsh puts his finger in his mouth and he sticks it up in the air and he goes, which way's the wind blowing?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think Michael Cohen does that.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think a number of people do that.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think Bill Mar does that.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he was blackmailed.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because I don't see any, and he hung out at the fucking Playboy Mansion where they talked about, I've seen stories of human trafficking going on.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: They're got only noticed what happened to the Playboy Mansion.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I think he's compromised, and that's that.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: So, I just, I had to get on my soapbox for a minute there.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay, so let me ask you this, what about the Senate?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: How are you feeling about the Senate?
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: I am cautiously optimistic about this at it.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're gonna hold on to Georgia.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're gonna hold on to a lot of seats.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're gonna pick up, I think we might pick up main.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think my pick up is it Alaska?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: That's not good.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're gonna pick up Alaska.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe is it Iowa, where Josh Turek?
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my, maybe it would be amazing.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then Texas, I think.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I, you know, I'm hopeful, I'm cautiously optimistic that we end too.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, okay, so what's funny?
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: Is it this time of year in election season, I like to go to YouTube and enter like psychics, right?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: And see what the psychics are predicting.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: And then I save them,
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: And if they're right, then I'll watch a little more and see how they get because like you know sometimes the psychic person could be right about something and then they're not right about other things, but anyway I found this guy last night I don't know who he is I'm not saying I believe him I'm just going to share this because I thought it was interesting he said when when he was asked about the Senate he said I see the number 53 so I assume that means there's you know going to be 53 Democrats.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and he was a blue voter to be clear.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'd just like to make sure everyone knows that.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: But he did another video, because this, this was an interview, but then he did a video on his own.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think several weeks later, which was probably like last week.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, he saw between 53 and 54.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't know what it's going to be.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: But those are the numbers flashing, right?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: So the other day, and I told that to Bob, and Bob's like, I said 53 the other day.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: So Bob, who is not psychic, thinks is making a political prediction and thinks it's going to be that.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: And the same thing that the psychic is.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know, you know, we're going to see, I don't know.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's possible, I agree.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's very possible.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's it's yes.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be white knuckling it, but yeah.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, I'll be out.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll be it's going to be a day.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then oh my god.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like Netanyahu is out.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's great news.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not exactly sure how that all works, but everything that I keep seeing today, like Newsweek, which I don't fully trust, did say that, you know, he's out because he didn't get a majority.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: I saw a couple of other, um,
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, just posts so I don't know where they're coming from so I'm not positive about that But it looks like he may be out.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: So that could be really good.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, we look at Serbia We look at Hungary and then, you know, perhaps what's happening in Israel Was there another was there another big election that I'm forgetting?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like there was another one Brazil Brazil.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: Now look at that.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: there is something to this whole like energetic, I don't know what you would call it.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's an energy, right?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: There's an energy that's kind of gaining momentum.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just like, please let it happen here and I think it is happening here.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: But it feels like, I mean, I wonder if their truly is, you know, Ruth Bader Ginsburg had said the pendulum always swings.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: So it felt like it was swinging back into democracy when Biden won, but it didn't, because the whole magamovment was still very loud and very alive.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: And now Donald Trump is killing it.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: He is killing that movement.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: fewer and fewer people are interested in the magamovement.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't mean they're not fascist, it doesn't mean they're still right-wing, but it's that magamovement that's dying.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that a lot of people are just getting sick and tired of
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: what's going on the way that these particular people are running things.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that as I've been saying, the worst it gets, the better it gets, I think we're being set up right now to really make a huge change.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be up to us.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just going to automatically.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's not going to be like divine intervention or anything like that, but it's just going to be us.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm wondering because now I want to ask you about this because we're seeing all of these progressive people gaining popularity.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: Regardless, if they win or not, we've got like the AOCs of the world.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: We've got the ELSIAD, we've got mom Donnie, we've got Angie Nixon, we've just got a number of young progressive voices out there.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: And do you think like for a while
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: There was fear in the more centrist part of our party of the progressives.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel there's a switch happening?
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel like more and more people are taking on a progressive?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: Or do you think it's still there?
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: Just still there.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I, so I, so I, after the 2024 election, there were, there were some groups and some Democratic strategists, this, that and the other who were saying, like, oh, we need to lean more into white men.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: And we need to lean more into like centrist ideals and try to get these voters back.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think I and I talked to you about it.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think then that I go, I think that's the exact opposite thing we should be doing.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: I said we need to be leaning into it.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, no, this is wrong.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: Why would we go after people who are against our ideals?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to abandon.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: We'd be abandoning our abandoning our base.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I said that people, they really should be leaning into the left, leaning into progressives, leaning into the side that wants to help.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Well, maintaining that center of moderate above, but don't abandon a huge portion of your voters because you want to pick up some dude bros with a red hat.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: That wasn't the strategy to go with and you're seeing those candidates lose, especially in like primaries, like specific groups that would get behind those candidate, they lost.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: who was winning are the progressive fighters, because they stand on their fucking morals and they write back and they are showing people this is what we can do if we come together and get it done.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it was going to happen inevitably.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: and we're seeing it happen and I think it's great.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's great.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's what's so great about the Democratic parties.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: We have those people in those specific states where that is a popular ideology and the people love it.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where it goes, you go to different states and it's a little bit different, a little more center.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: But you go with what your voters want.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's we the people listen to the people.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Don't listen to the strategies to see a loss
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: Listen to the people, and they will tell you what they want, and that's what you go with, it's not rocket science.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly, it'll be interesting to see what happens in Maine too, because I know sometimes last week I think Collins numbers went up.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I think Troy has a good shot, and people are really pissed off at her right now for myriad reasons.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we've got the whole thing with the Supreme Court and, you know, that whole investigation that went away, because Trump's DOJ got rid of it for her all that.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I think a lot of people are aware of that, but it's like, come on, Maine, come on, Maine, she told you that she was going to only be there for one term, and that was decades ago.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: and she's fucking oh my god she's such a horrible woman and she's too old now and you know she doesn't look well and I just I feel like you know I mean I know that I could be at risk of someone calling me a just but I don't think that you know I mean if she were my mom I always go on the base like if this person were my parent
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: I would be like, I don't think this is a good idea.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you're up to this.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I don't know, I hope she fucking was this so badly.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if we're gonna get main in Texas.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: I really wanna get both of them so bad.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, I don't know if it's gonna happen.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see, I mean, like you said, I think there's a good chance and I agree with you.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think this whole progressive movement
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let me just say that I always try to find, I'm not going to call it the positive, but I guess you could call it the positive, the positive of Trump.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: What are the benefits, right?
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because we all know the damage.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: We all know all the horrific shit.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I think part of the benefit is he provided us such a strong contrast, right?
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: So prior to Donald Trump, we had,
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: There was Occupy Wall Street and there were all these movements.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: There were all the petitions up your fucking ass to get rid of citizens united that were never going to happen.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: People were just too comfortable and I don't know that progressives could have gotten as I agree with you that it was inevitable, but I think it would have taken longer.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I would have kept up with our, if we would have just, you know, gone with Hillary and, you know, not, and it wouldn't have been Donald.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, you know, she, she wouldn't be president now, would she?
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, like how many fucking elections have we had?
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: No, she wouldn't now.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who would be president now.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how that would work.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: There might have been the same, like there might have been a backlash to Hillary just like there was to Obama.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: But, and backlash just meaning because the fucking, you know, white supremacist massages couldn't stand it, exactly.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that's, that's what I mean by backlash.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that Donald Trump really did escalate the progressive agenda because one of the things that the progressors are doing very well is kind of playing the alpha role.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, the problem that I have with Democrats is not really a problem, but I mean, it's like Democrats always answer a lie.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's the fact.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's not enough, because no publicans are voting with emotion, that is their motivator.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: So they don't give a shit what the calm, cool, collected fact is, oh, wait a minute.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the right number.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's the, they don't care about that.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: They are all going on an emotional trigger.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that people like, I'll say,
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: AOC also, mom-dom, mom-dom, they know how to tug at the emotional trigger while giving you the facts.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly right.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly right.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's like a master class, it's very well done.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: and they use humor and I mean, look at fucking Obama.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, last night I was like, I was like, in church.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: I like, but I had my hand in the air.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, tell it.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I was, I was like, I mean, I'm a preacher's daughter.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: So this comes naturally.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: But like,
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: I was like holy shit.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like I knew he was probably going to say something, you know, because it felt up what was happening.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: But man, you've turned it into like 10 minutes set and it was just remarkable.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: It was remarkable.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: It was so awesome.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_01]: And the fact that it's like,
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, all of these people are freaking out over his cheesecake thing, and it's like, they don't care about the corruption comments.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: They don't care that he's calling them criminals.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: They just care that he referred to it as a cheesecake factory.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then, oh my God, the fucking, and then Obama told everybody this.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, they didn't really cover this on the news, but like the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant ate at a cheesecake factory, and basically called him a leadist, and I think
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: I love that Obama made fun of that too, it was so good.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: It was just the whole thing, because one thing Trump cannot stand as being made fun of, and the person who gets under his skin the most is Obama.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just, it's just,
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: and watching how to see it.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: I was just so sad.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: There we go.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to make Trump go crazy.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it's great.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's great.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: And watching like Obama is clearly having fun and also Obama knows what he's doing.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just it feels so good, you know, it's like just like it's visceral.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: You can watch him and you're just like, oh my god, it's just keep going.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, I love it.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: What was I just going to say about the, there was one other thing.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, oh, I just, this is just kind of funny.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: Obama, you know, obviously he's got it going on.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I don't, when I asked her, but I have a girlfriend and she's probably about,
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: four or five years older than me.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm 58.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I asked her one time.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let me just tell you how the conversation went.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: I said to her, would you have sex with Obama?
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: She couldn't get it out fast enough.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: It made me laugh so hard.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then the other little, I just have to tell the story.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm on the phone with my dad yesterday who is a ABC, he's a retired.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: 80 seniors cameraman and he's like, yeah one time I got to play a basketball with Obama and you know, he was just so fit and it was like, what?
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: You played basketball with Obama?
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: How do I just, how do I am just hearing about this right now?
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, my dad has had some very, you know, he's been on a lot of presidential campaigns.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: He was with, I think he was with Bob Dole, he was with
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: Bill Clinton, I don't think he was on Obama's campaign, but no, I know he wasn't.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: But he did meet him and he got to play a fucking basketball with Obama.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Is that insane?
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: Look, that's how I'm so jealous.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's why I hope.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I know the reason we were talking about that is because my dad was emphasizing Obama's good health.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking about Donald Trump's bad health.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I just have you been, I don't know, do you ever watch Israelis or are you only getting clips on social media?
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: I do both.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't watch every rally, but if it's like, I'll, I can't sit through it.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: I can't do it.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think the only one I watched recently was like the Georgia one and he was just rambling.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: It was, yeah.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know which one it was, but it was not last night but the night before.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: So it might have been Georgia.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: But he was, he was extra slurpee, right?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I literally gagged.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like I know that most people are grossed out by vomit.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know that but I think I have an extra special like gross out factor.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: I am so fucking I can't take it and I can't take spit.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: I can deal with other bodily fluids a little bit easier.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: But those two are just...
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: I can't with men who spit on sidewalk.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: It is my worst pet peeve.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think disgusting.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: And people not picking up dog shit.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: But my worst pet peeve is...
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: and spending on sidewalks.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, is it a disorder?
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what are you doing?
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: Women don't do this?
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: So why do you have extra saliva in your mouth?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: And can't you just swallow it?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: Can you swallow it?
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: Can you find a trash can you need a tissue?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, you have to spit your luggie on the ground for other people to step in, like, oh no.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: Look at the DNA on the bottom of our shoes.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I am with you.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: It is so gross.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: I hate it.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: I hate it.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, he was talking the other night, and it was so, it was pulling in his mouth to the degree where I had to turn it off because I started to gag.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: But this particular...
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I know what you're talking about.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: And this particular rally he was going on and on about the ass and the...
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: The massive feet and all of the, you know, latent homosexual shit that he's bringing up and I was so I started looking up and I'm going to read this now, but I do know that there is, you know, I think I think it's called
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: like a delayed swallow refact flex, something like that.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: But basically, with people with dementia, it says, okay, I'm gonna, I'm just gonna get everything I googled this.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: A gurgling or wet voice when speaking,
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: In someone, I'm sorry, when speaking in someone with dementia, most is most often a sign of dysfasia, which is difficulty swallowing or aspiration, which occurs when saliva, food, or liquid pulls near the vocal cords and slips into the windpipe.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the thing about aspiration is it could kill him.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: because it says dysphasia, swallowing difficulty, and advanced dementia, significantly increases mortality risk with a six-month mortality rate ranging from roughly 17% to over 46% depending on whether complications like having to do with weight loss.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: But basically, it's a piece of food gets stuck.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then it starts pneumonia and it's pretty much deadly.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: in in dementia patients, especially because I think that he's pretty far in.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where he is.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: I've looked up the different stages of dementia.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like he's probably heading toward late.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's, I think he's still in the middle, but he's heading toward late.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I, but I want to just
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think dementia is going to take him down.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: Outside of the only way dementia would take him down is if he just says things that the Republicans can't take it anymore and they get rid of him.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that what's going to take him out most likely if it's not this disfasia.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be like the congestive heart failure or, you know, whatever else he's got going on.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: Because think about this.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's been doing these rallies.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like 20 days in a row.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: We still have a few more days left every day that he's out there.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's markedly worse.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's like whatever medications they're giving him, I think the guy Emma's epistemic crisis doctor said he's getting anti
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember which one's there.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember the names of anti-psychotic and anti-something else.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a reason he gets the anti-psychotic because he's got dementia.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's given this one particular drug that I think kind of diminishes the dementia symptoms, but it's not anti-psychotic.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: It causes seizure.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it is.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, he's more open to seizure, so they have to also give him anti-seasier med.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: So, he's getting these medications, and it just makes me think, I know it's just a cat, but we used to have, I used to have this cat that was just troubled.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: He had so many things wrong with him, and the only thing that kept him alive was steroids, and steroids kept him alive for a really long time until ultimately steroids killed him.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just thinking in terms of like this guy is old, he's sick, he's got, he's got dementia, he's got heart disease, he's probably had a couple of strokes and got only knows what else is wrong with him because it's not just those, it's for sure there's more.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: And on top of it, they're loading him up with drugs that are helping him perform in the moment.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: But in the long run,
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: destroying him.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then did you see that tweet that he or I'm sorry, it's not a tweet.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's a post on a troth, troth central as he called it.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: Truth social, it was on the 23rd I'm looking for it right now.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: But he posted, here it is, a healthy person has a thousand dreams.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: A sick person has only one to get better.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, plus he just said he had severe problems.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: You heard him say that, right?
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was one of these rallies and he was saying, you know, there are people who drink and the people who drugs and I'm really lucky.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have that problem, you know, but I have severe problems, but I don't have that one.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: Huh, he's starting to say shit like he's starting to like let the cat on the back a little bit.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like his filter is going away and it just makes me wonder what's he going to fucking say he's going to know that you know this fucking midterm it's going to it's going to he's going to blow his gasket he is he's going to blow his gasket.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to go to jail.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: He has enough.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: He should go to jail.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: He should.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: But he has enough awareness in his dementia journey right now that he knows.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: He knows this.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: He knows he's dying.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: He knows that he needs to stay in power to avoid jail.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's also very important to tell everybody
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: So much fuckery from the right.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to do every, I mean, imagine, they're fighting for their life, right?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: So they're going to do everything they can to steal democracy.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: Everything.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I just keep telling everybody, do not let the actions of these fascists
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: scare you into submission.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay to feel whatever you're going to feel.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I don't want anyone to misunderstand me.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Feel what you got to feel, but don't act from that feeling.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: That is the new lesson of my life.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: Don't act from it.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's fine to feel whatever you're going to feel, but don't make decisions based on it.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: Make, you know, have an intent.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: This, we remain a democracy.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how it's going to happen, but we remain a democracy, and we will figure it out.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we all need to take on that kind of thinking, because I think we're in them, you know, we're going to have to deal with some shit.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: That lame duck is going to be crazy, you know?
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be bad.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be bad.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: And we have two years of it.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: So buckle up, yeah, we have two, although if we do get the house, I mean, I'm sorry, if we
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: then those two years are going to be much easier.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: But definitely the two months prior to January, that's we're going to just argue the craziest shit ever.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, even if only we get the house we're going to be able to impeach him and we better.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: And we're not going to be able to pass anything.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: So at least we'll be able to have some power.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: But boy, if we could get those 54 or 53 or 54, you know, a federman proof Senate is what we need.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, I don't know, I'm hoping that that all happens that way.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I guess, I guess we're going to have, but we all have to be really strong.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: Really, really strong and don't allow them to scare us.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: there's my little preachy moment of the day.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I wanted to ask you about because you mentioned to me and I don't follow, but you mentioned that you were interested in what was going on with the WNBA.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: So you look more.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: So right now, like as we're speaking,
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: There's a WMBA game on, it's the game six of the finals between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valcreas and the Valcreas are up and if they win today, they win the finals, if they if the Dream win, they go to a game seven, back in Golden State.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, but they're they moved the women's finals game and up.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: The blame isn't specifically clear on what happened to make this happen, but the final game got moved to 1230, because there's an Atlanta Hawks game against the calves on prime time.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: in the same arena.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: Why did they swap?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like why not just the hox who were like a team like mediocre, like whatever, like in a regular season game in October when their finals are in June?
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like more could have been done and it's a real, especially for the Valquerese fans.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: The game started at 9.30 a.m.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: So this is me on my soapbox being like, get your shit together.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: So do this to women.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: Don't do this to their fans.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's messed up.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm lost.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but I also want you to get right back on and talk about your flock camera.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you, where are you in that?
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: So locally, it's a mess.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: I was able, I organized a group locally to come back or our fault cameras that just came up overnight.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: No public scrutiny, no public comment, no public approval.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: They just went up.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: And the speak cameras that we have at least had public comment.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: Anything else will need anything else we do to slow down cars, do anything around town, require a public comment, but not these
- 39:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I was able to get a lot of them taking down.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not just me, that sounded very selfish.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: But it like our group and the public, and we were able to put enough public pressure on to get down.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the cameras and pause a lot of, like I call them, the people watch your cameras, the front condors that are able to zoom up the 32 times and basically, if you're looking at your phone, they could see what's on your phone.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: So, whoa.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's really creepy.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: These flat cameras don't belong anywhere.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's an affairs company yesterday when I was looking out.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I started hearing all the same talking points everywhere like from the police all over the country and for anyone speaking about it and I was like, well, this is weird.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: They're all saying the exact same thing.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like,
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was like on my computer and I was like looking up like what Earth Fox talking points to see if they actually share that with people not only that do they have talking points they have a manual that teaches you how to suppress foyer requests oh my god they have like how to like
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: like not give the information that's being asked for, like go around it and they have another manual that teaches the police how to talk to city city councils and the public.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_00]: So basically,
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's all a game of semantics and a game of words.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so when you say these cameras watch people, they say, oh, no, they don't watch.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: They don't track people, but they 100% do.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: If they're catching your license plate, that license plate is a touch to a person.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're tracking that license plate from camera to camera, you're tracking a person.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's tracking people.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: If it's a condor camera and that condor camera picks up somebody that you type in a description, male blue shirt, and it finds a man on a blue shirt.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: And it track, that's tracking a person.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: When they say they don't track people, that is a blatant lie.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: But that's a lot of what this manual will say.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm totally back on my soapbox.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's a lot of what these manuals say.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's basically like, any time they talk about mass surveillance, are for the men and rights, whatever.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: Pivot to this, don't talk about surveillance, talk about governance, basically putting up guardrails and all that bullshit.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, no, we don't want this technology.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: Make it local or we don't have it.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's a U-problem.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: If you need this tool, figure it out where it only collects the hot list and you're not drag netting the entire country into one database.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's super scary when you think like we're literally drag netting the entire
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: And it's terrifying.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, oh, well, we have guardrails in Connecticut.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, that's great.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: You're still using Flock software.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: And you're incredibly naive to think that if you're using a company's software that they don't have access to it, of course they do.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: Of course they do.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: So they're like, well, we have all these guardrails.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: And the way the manual is telling them to talk to the public.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just,
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: They're bad news.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: I, everyone should be against fuck.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone in their mother should be against flock and pressure their communities to get rid of it.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: They, it's a violation of your fourth amendment rights.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's search and seizure.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: They're, they're tracking you without a warrant.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: they can go back and look at data, they can go back and search through files and like they think it's such a cool tool.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like they'll be like, look, I could put in my license plate or pops up 600 times.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: You think that's cool?
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is wrong with you?
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's terrifying.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, it's like, it's like, just like that we wouldn't go through and grab everybody's browser history.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you could find a few criminals doing that too.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: But that's illegal because you need a warrant.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's in goes for this.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same principle.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: You don't just gather
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: everybody's information on the off chance that you might need it later.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's not how this works.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's we don't treat people as guilty until proven and that's not how the system works.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: And until our local elected leaders and our police and our government figure that out, like,
- 43:23[SPEAKER_00]: Get flock out.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: Just get them out.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: Make them go bankrupt.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: You heard it here first.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: I like they are not.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: They are bad news.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: Go Sarah.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: You know it's my mother recently just moved.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying where, but I saw one of those cameras right by her home.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's really creepy and like I got them.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: So we worked with the city to be like, well, they're like, well, we'll put them on the exits to the city.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: So basically we're in a giant box.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: We can't leave the city without the government knowing.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: But there are not on the exit ramps.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: There's still a major city road tonight and I brought this up and they're like, well, we don't own this, if I am, that's the state and I'm like, that sounds like a view problem.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you can't put the cameras where you said you were gonna put them and you're still tracking everyday citizens' lives, going about their lives, going to pick up a prescription, going to pick up their kid from school, going to a doctor's appointment, like that's still tracking us and the cameras need to go.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: When I see a flock camera, I'm driving home from my in-laws house the town over, and it's literally sitting on somebody's lawn, pointed at somebody else's house.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, no.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: No, this is unacceptable.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: So what I've been doing locally is just really shining a light on it.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like, pointing out all the cameras everywhere I go, making either informational videos or angry videos for funny videos, but just basically being pay attention.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: everywhere.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: Every state except for maybe Alaska.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what, but yeah.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: Geez, man.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, I think that the last thing I'm just going to say before we go is
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: Even though you're not necessarily talking about young people, I have been seeing reports of, I think it was Santiago Mayor who, oh yeah, Santiago, yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he posted something the other day just about the youth vote was up by a lot.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I know a lot of people roll their eyes when they hear that when they hear young people or either participate, like, well, I'll believe it when I see it and I get it because when I was young, I didn't vote or I did vote, but I didn't release.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: vote as much as I should.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: I just wasn't consistent.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: I did, like I remember the first vote I ever, I would say the first election that I participated in was Bill Clinton.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: But, and I did participate, I don't know if I participated in every mode term, but I at least participated in every general.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think a lot of people do that.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: But it's understandable because when you're young, you're not focused on politics.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_01]: But so many young people these days are because of things like flat cameras, because of data centers, because of school debt, because of school shootings.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: There's just, there are so many things that are at the economy that are affecting, whether it's the climate, when you and I were coming up, and I'm older than you, but still, when we were coming up, these are not the kinds of things we were thinking about.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: yeah we were we were concerned about um i don't even know what i was concerned like what they were talking about when i was younger because clearly i wasn't paying attention but it's like you know we weren't worrying about we didn't know i guess that's a time to worry about the climate but now we're feeling the effects of it and seeing it every day and it you know i mean i don't know
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: What is the name of it?
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: There was a place on PCH.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: Did we talk about this last time?
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even remember.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: But there was this big crack on a cliffside somewhere, I think it's like Laguna Beach area.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: And when it fucking falls, that piece of PCH is going to go into the ocean.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: And Jesus Christ.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then there's all these homes in Long Beach that were stupidly built like on the ocean and they're all just falling in collapsing and and so, you know, everything Al Gore warned us about and Jimmy Carter, it's all happening, but we and I say also the Bible like the Bible said rise man builds his house upon the rock.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then we'll lose your house on the sea.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: So, there you go, say it.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: They knew it then.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: Don't lose your house on the sand, I don't know.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know, it's like dull.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_01]: And now they're all feeling it, because their houses are just being washed away.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: But that whole thing with Pacific Coast Highway, I mean, we've been hearing this.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: California's gonna fall into the ocean.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: And okay, it's starting to, it's starting to.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously when I was younger it was a threat now it's happening and so young people are seeing all of this and I think they actually are motivated now So I'm not going to discount them.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to roll my eyes and you know I will always give a little bit of Lacks to young people because I get it.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: I was one and I wasn't paying attention I guarantee you if Donald Trump was president when I was you know early 20s I would have absolutely been paying attention I would have had a lot more interest in politics
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I had the benefit of Bill Clinton, right?
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know that he's kind of like a neoliberal type and he's very, he did go along with some conservative got rid of Glass-Steagall and he did it a few things that I don't love.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_01]: But overall, he balanced the budget.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody loved him and he was really popular.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I mean, so we were just all good.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: Everything was good.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: And now, everything is turning to shit.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it's happening quick, quick.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: I remember when that first election happened with Donald Trump,
- 48:50[SPEAKER_01]: After Hillary had been warning us and I still didn't, you know, had not understood fully those threats that she was speaking about and then after Donald Trump won and then it was all coming about how Russians helped him I, you know, I lived in Russia, I know what it was like to be in communist Russia and I knew Putin was, you know, former, former KGB.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: I knew that.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: I knew the fucking cage.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: I looked at the KGB.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen them, and they are not fun people.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's like I knew how quickly things could deteriorate here.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I am seeing that happen in front of my face.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: We all are.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: And young people are.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think that young people are going to show up.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they're excited and motivated to vote.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, this is the last show that I'm doing before the election.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I definitely want to end this on a positive note, but I know you're feeling good.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm feeling good.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to, you know, keep keep that message of just stay strong.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is an ongoing fight for democracy.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be over after the selection.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be over in 2028.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: Even if we get this beautiful blue wave and all the stuff if all those wonderful things happen, it's still not over because the fascists are never going to stop until we make it impossible for them to take over or keep power.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: So this is ongoing.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: Do all the things you need to do to make yourself happy because you got to keep your energy up.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I got to say before the selection.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: Any parting before the midterms?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure you vote.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure you call 20 people and make sure they're voting.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: Call text your friends.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: Be like, this is literally do or die.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if we lose, we lose all chance of accountability until another election, if we even get another election.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is like vote like your life depends on it because it does and get everybody you know to the polls yeah and do everything anything and everything you can whether it's phone calls Yeah driving people to the polls whether you can do do it
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, I've, you know, and I think we've, I, my vote has been counted.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: I got the email, it, it would, it arrived.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_01]: They counted it.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, all right, Sarah.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: I voted early, too.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, woohoo.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, I'm grateful to have you on the show and, and talk to you all the time.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, it's, it's definitely sometimes upsetting and frustrating.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: Not you.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: The circumstances have you to talk about, helps it.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, I just, you know,
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do it.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Sarah, before we go, tell everyone where to find you.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, you can find me at Sarah Wood Rider, like writing things down on most platforms and at Sarah Wood on Blue Sky.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Sarah.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll talk again.
