- Keoni McKeague: Welcome back to the podcast. I'm the co-host, Kearney McKee, and with me today on the FitDown is my boyfriend, FitDown, Nolan Chang. Say what's up to the pod, So we are here to do our final tier ranking for our fantasy football tiers because ⁓ we've gone through four tiers. If you've been with us for the last four, Nolan: They get it. Keoni McKeague: I mean, we're probably at the end of April at this point, right? But we kind of mentioned at the beginning that we will be pre-recording these. So if something happens during the draft and messes all these up or whatever, we'll get to all of that after Nolan gets back from his trip. He's got some honeymoon in to do. So obviously we're going to have to wait until after that is complete ⁓ to really give you guys an update on our tiers, because I'm sure there'll be some. guy who gets drafted or traded or something along those lines and we'll have to figure that out there. But anyway, before we do any of that, we have to give a shout out to our partners over at W Energy. Fantastic tasting energy, all of the energy you need to get through your day. You head on over to w.gg or use the W Energy app in our promo code, which is poi and soy. That's P-O-I-N-S-O-Y for 10 % off your order. let's talk some NFL football. So at this point, Nolan: Yes, my lord. Keoni McKeague: Like I said, we're down to the nitty gritty. This is the final tier, at least for us, because I imagine past this, mean, unless you're in a deeper league than our league, which is pretty deep already, because I feel like most leagues standard are like 12 and 12, 12 players, 12 rounds or. At the most 12 and 14 we're at 12 and 16. So this is about as far as we would go. I mean, if you're going past this, you're really, you know, pulling, pulling the weeds. You know what mean? You're really looking for them secret, secret players that hoping will pop off. But anyway, at this point, it's going to be some interesting tiers and I'm sure I don't know how yours are, but mines are pretty large. The tears. Nolan: Mine are actually a little smaller than the last tier just because I felt like this is also that kind of swing time where you could be going for kickers, defense, you know. Keoni McKeague: You know, it's funny. That's this is why well, because I kind of figured at this point, it was like where I'm like, you're just going to throw names at the wall and hope they stick kind of situate. Yeah. So it's like I, did throw a lot in here just because yeah, there's a there's a few situations where I'm like, if that works out, you know, that guy could be a hell of a boon for you. Well, some of the names are I'm going to read here are Nolan: Yeah. Spaghetti. Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Probably names that shouldn't be down here, but I put them down here just because I'm not super bought in on them. But anyway, let's start off with the quarterback position and start off with the fantasy pros rankings. Gonna mention it again cuz gonna keep mentioning it until we get you know some kind of link sponsor Whatever, you know what I mean? But fantasy pros head on over to fantasy pros comm use all the tools that got there They have rankings for your drafts. Whatever draft that is. It's a super flex draft if it's half PPR if it's I mean Dynasty whatever they can do just about everything and they have all of the rankings there. So use them It's a great tool. It helps us every single year and these tiers basically were born from what they do so I was like us doing what we're doing now is based on what they do every single year so anyway we will get to our quarterback rankings and look at tier 5 This is a very large tier for them. ⁓ quarterbacks 23 through 35, according to their rankings. they have Sam Darnold at the top of this cam ward, Bryce Young, Daniel Jones, Fernando Mendoza, Jacoby Brissette, Michael Pennex, Jr. should do her Sanders, JJ McCarthy, two of talk of I law, Gino Smith, Ty Simpson, Mack Jones. I do feel like it's at least a little disrespectful. that they have some of the backups listed before Geno Smith who's technically starting. anyway, Nolan, who do you have in your rankings? How many do you have in there? ⁓ And yeah. Nolan: Yeah, yeah. I got eight. I got eight for this round. It'll round out a total of, I believe, 35 quarterback picks I've had since we started the series. ⁓ First one off, the bat, Bryce Young. ⁓ He is a deserving starting quarterback in the league. He is still kind of... Keoni McKeague: Yep. Yep. Nolan: yet to show me that he can take the leap, is probably why he's all the way down here in these tiers. But he is liable to have some big games. And I think that they're continuing to build up something there that's really special with Canales. ⁓ And I do like what I saw from him last year. I think he was a lot more consistent last year compared to the years prior. Obviously, the two years two years ago, he had that. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: you know, benched for Andy Dalton, then he came back in and then Andy Dalton started again and then he came back and then last year it was pretty much Bryce through and through, think, except for maybe like one game. ⁓ But he showed that he deserved to be a starting quarterback, especially for this franchise. And I think that another year under his belt, another year with Tet, I think that this could be a really special moment for him to start gaining some traction. ⁓ Next on the list, I got Tua. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, I like that. Nolan: ⁓ You know, ⁓ Tua is an enigma, as you would say, ⁓ because if it's a healthy on fire Tua, he could be a tier three. we're talking about tier five right now, and I'm telling you that he has the ability to jump to two levels ⁓ because of what he's able to do with his receiving group. ⁓ He's going to have pretty much like Keoni McKeague: Agree. Nolan: in most drafts other than probably our super flex quote unquote the number one pick of a fantasy draft he's gonna have the jawn ⁓ he has drake london he has a lot of things going now with kyle pitts ⁓ it's a good situation for him to rebuild himself and i think that this is ⁓ probably i didn't even really expect Keoni McKeague: Yep. Nolan: Atlanta to go after him but now that like it happened I'm just like this is this is kind of it for this is the moment for him like this is a great great chance for him so I do have him there mm-hmm mm-hmm yeah so I'm hoping he takes that jump because ⁓ for all the reasons that Tua has ever been in the reports of the football news it's never been because of Keoni McKeague: This is the make or break for his career. I agree wholeheartedly with that. Yeah. Nolan: really that he just doesn't deserve to be a starting quarterback it's because of just his health and what he can sustain and stay on the field and things like that so ⁓ fingers crossed that he has something good for him this season ⁓ next i do come on come on man come on Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: Is this being posted on YouTube? Anyway, Gino Smith is my next quarterback. For all the wrong reasons. ⁓ Gino Smith is my next one down in this tier. I'm not going to say he can jump two tiers, but I think Gino has the ability to jump one tier in this situation. ⁓ I think that it's a fresh start for him. What? Keoni McKeague: Yeah, is. already know. Nolan: was supposed to be the fresh start at the Raiders, but it just didn't pan out for, you know, for whatever excuse or reason you want to give to it. ⁓ He's coming into it where there's a Jets team that is looking to finally find an identity. ⁓ You're going to have Garrett Wilson, you're going to have Adonai Mitchell, who took some big steps last year just to be at least a good partner for ⁓ Garrett. Mason Taylor, we talked about last pod. We think that we have a lot of faith or two pods ago, last pod, two pods, two pods ago, maybe. ⁓ I think that it's gonna be a big moment for him as well and you know we need we need Brice to earn that contract here right so Gino has a good shot here to you know not write back to those who wrote him off again yeah next on the list now I put him here because at this point we haven't mentioned any of them Keoni McKeague: Ha ha. Nolan: So I'm going to take a shot in the dark and assume he's going to be the starting quarterback for now. Shadura Sanders. ⁓ There's not much really coming out from the Cleveland organization of what's going on, who they're drafting, who's going to be the starting quarterback week one, even getting the first first string reps during training camp. Shadura Sanders. Do I think he is a starting quarterback in the league? No, but I think that He also came into the season kind of late without much backing from his head coach. And I think that does take a toll on someone, especially that's a rookie coming into this, the professional league. So now that the new thing is going on with the coaching staff, it is a fresh start for him in his year two. And maybe he can treat this as a true rookie season or, you know, already build upon the things that he learned as a rookie and then come into it firing hot and earning that spot as the starting quarter. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I like that. Nolan: Next I got Ty Simpson. ⁓ The only reason I have Ty Simpson here is one, because I heard what you were saying last week, which kind of solidified the reason why I had him here. ⁓ And having a strong kind of following now, things are picking up. He's getting a lot more interviews with teams. ⁓ And the reason why he's fifth on this list is because the next three are technically backups at this point. ⁓ So I think that Ty Simpson is going to get a good shot. He would be something where if Keoni McKeague: Mm. Mm. Nolan: You're in a traditional league ⁓ where it is not super flex and you already have maybe a quarterback or for some reason you have two quarterbacks. If you're like concrete solid as heck in your starting group and maybe a couple here, if you want to like stash him, why not? Because if he ends up being a league winner in some sort of fashion, you're going to be set. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Could be the Jackson Dart this year. I'm just putting that out there. You know? Yeah. I drafted that dude in the last round of the draft last year, dropped him and immediately regretted it. I was like, yeah, exactly. So I mean, quite literally he could be that guy. He's the only one that's slated to be like a true quote unquote, well, I was gonna say a true quote unquote round one pick. Like that's the only other guy that they consider a round one pick. Nolan: Could be, he really could be, yeah. And I thank you. duel. Mm. Keoni McKeague: outside of obviously for Naito Mendoza. Nolan: Gotcha. ⁓ Next one. And you'll kind of understand why I have these guys in this order. I'll just lay I'm just going to list them off all three of them at once. JJ McCarthy is the next one. ⁓ Solely for the fact that we don't know if Kyler is going to get the starting job, but we know that they're bringing him in probably to light a fire under JJ before they decide if they want to keep him as valued. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Go ahead, girl. Mm-hmm. Nolan: And you know, the chance that JJ does win out the spot and he once again goes into his, I guess you could technically call it his second year, but really it's his third year. ⁓ And picking up some steam there as well. He could be someone to look out for if the Kyler idea doesn't pan out. ⁓ Next is Michael Pennex. I don't know when he's coming back this year, but if we're looking at it from, you know, one to one, he's the only other like, Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: backup to 2-0 right now, like true backup to 2-0. So I don't know what his outlook looks like for injury rehab. He got injured pretty late in the season. ⁓ So there is a good chance that he may miss a bulk of the season, if not the whole thing, because he's had multiple knee surgeries already during his career in college and whatnot. ⁓ So it is looking a little grim, but you know, fingers crossed. And I wouldn't say he's someone that I'm stashing, but. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. I had to, you know, funny. I had to look it up because I was curious. I was wondering when that name was going to pop up. I also was curious where I was going to put him on my list. And he is technically slated right now to come back week one. Nolan: Mm-hmm. I don't know how that is gonna work. Keoni McKeague: That's what I said, to his ⁓ latest update, as of March 28th something like that. Nolan: I'm all I'm saying he's a big, big guy. Six, five, I think, right. ⁓ And he typically has been one to try to use some leg power here and there. I don't know if that burst or that that movement is going to be quite there yet. Yeah, I also think that he may look like, you know, return year Rogers or Kirk, but he is younger. So I'll give him that he has more ability to bounce back. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. may not be running as much. Yeah. Nolan: But we've seen how there is precedent for looking at quarterbacks who are returning the next season after they torn an Achilles. it's very tough to place a bet on that. So that's the only reason I have him at the very bottom. But he is someone that I'm going to keep an eye out, especially because they gave him such a fat contract. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah, I was like, that's, ⁓ that'd be an interesting scenario to see play out. mean, I'm sure he's going to try to rush back. I mean, according to the timeline, I mean, I guess he's ahead of schedule a little bit and kind of similar to the Patrick wohome situation. Like it sounds like he is very much on track for being ready for week one of 2026. So we'll see if that ends up being the case. ⁓ that Nolan: You Keoni McKeague: didn't really change my rankings at all because obviously my rankings are going to be based on how I think things are going to play out. anyway, yeah, for me, tier five starts with Cam Ward. I didn't have him in the above tiers. This is kind of a prove it situation for me. Don't really feel like drafting him until that, you know, gets ironed out. He had a lot of bad weeks last week from a fantasy perspective. A lot of turnovers, as is the case with most first year quarterbacks ⁓ trying to figure things out, figure out the speed, that kind of stuff. So We'll see if he can lock in this year. You know, he might be the Bryce Young, I guess, quote unquote, ⁓ to, you know, like how we've kind of said where we were waiting for Bryce Young to break out and last year was kind of the breakout, but he had some bad moments as well. ⁓ It'll be growing pains, essentially, for cram ward. But I do have him at the top of this tier just for the upside swing. Then after him, I do have Bryce Young just because Bryce Young again. Similar ish but different, you know what I mean? We're still waiting for him to have the consistent value. He hasn't really done that yet. So yeah, agree wholeheartedly with everything you said about Bryce Young moving on. I have to talk about law at the third. Oh, and I will say, sorry, I have 11 in this tier. Nolan: Gotcha. Keoni McKeague: puts me at a total of 38 quarterbacks ⁓ in total. So a lot of backups because there's a lot of weird situations going on. anyway, to talk about Lois, number 30 for me, ⁓ because I do think that he's going to start. I just don't see how new head coach immediate signing all those things don't point to like he's going to at the very least push for the starting spot. I just think that he at this juncture is better than Michael Pinnix and the Falcons are ready to go. So. Nolan: That's fair. Keoni McKeague: I think that's a team that's ready to compete. think that he puts them in a better position than Michael Panic. So I am putting him up here. And like you said, if he performs, I mean, this is a guy who is arguably a QB two ish. You know what I mean? He would always finish around that 14 to 18 mark when he was at his peak. So and sometimes within the top eight. So that's where I'm going to I'm going to value him as of right now. Thirty one. have Geno Smith. really don't really have a great argument for him being here other than that he's starting. We'll see how the consistency goes with his team and how the report goes with the guys that he has there. He's obviously returning to an organization that he was drafted by, but you know, very different organization. I don't think anybody from his tenure is even there anymore. So other than the owner, I'm assuming. But anyway, then we move on. I got Jacobi Percet all the way down here. I mean, realistically, I just for me. He's not somebody that I'm targeting in most drafts. I put him down here because at the end of the day, he is a pocket quarterback. He does have a brand new coaching system. There's going to be a lot of things to iron out with Arizona Cardinals. I'm not fully bought in on that team just yet. We'll have to see how that plays out. I'm assuming somebody's going to draft them way before this, which is fine by me. I don't really care if I don't get him. So that's why I have him down here. But anyway, the next two for me. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Is a situation that we don't I mean, I guess the technically the next four would be in the same situation, but for the next two, it's both the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks. ⁓ It's Aaron Rodgers, Will Howard back to back. Don't know if Aaron Rodgers is coming back. If it's not him, probably Will Howard. Will Howard's probably going to be all the way down here. Probably going to be the third quarterback you draft in a super flex league. Because if he's starting, I mean, he's a starting quarterback. Yeah, I mean, super flex. You're going to. Nolan: Mm. Keoni McKeague: probably one a third just in case. ⁓ And to me that just says value. But more on top of that, I do also believe in the kid. So I do think that if he is the one who's day one starting, I'm not mad at drafting him ⁓ near the end of the draft because I do think that he's tremendously talented and had a great college career. We'll see how that plays out in the NFL. But ⁓ and of course, if it's not him, then Aaron Rodgers. Again, wasn't really like a great quarterback to have, but as a backup, backup quarterback, you know what mean? You're probably not drafting them in standard leagues, but that's why I have them all down here anyway. The next two after that were both of the Indianapolis Colts quarterbacks. But I do have Anthony Richardson ahead of Daniel Jones at this moment. We don't know if Daniel Jones is going to be playing Riley Leonard. I just don't really see the upside with playing that kid. But I mean. if that's who they feel is better than Anthony Richardson, sure, but I still don't think that he is. ⁓ It's not like he shows a lot from his throwing perspective. Yeah, it's more probably than Anthony Richardson. But I just think the upside with Anthony Richardson is just there. I mean, he's he's a freak athlete. So I think that he should be the guy that they start, ⁓ especially if they're only going to be starting in for a few weeks while they figure out the Daniel Jones injury. But anyway, Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: I do have him above him there. And then the final two, Michael Penick's junior and then, of course, Shadr Sanders. ⁓ Really, for Michael Penick's, he just comes down to whether or not he wins the training camp battle against Tua. We'll see how that plays out. But ⁓ I still firmly believe it's going to be Tua. You don't have any ties with the head coach at this point. So it's a brand new situation for you to begin. ⁓ So you really got to your stripes, in my opinion. But ⁓ then for Shadr. We don't even know if he's going to be starting either. So this is like, again, I had Ty Simpson way above because I do feel that Ty Simpson is probably the guy that the Browns are going to draft. They have a good amount of draft picks in the first couple of rounds, so I wouldn't be surprised if they take the swing on him. Also wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the Jets. But all that to say that even if that is the case, I do think that the Browns will still try to draft another quarterback. What that does for them. I have no idea of that fantasy value wise. I've that's a situation i'm just trying to avoid because It could be chedure one week could be that guy next week could be you know mean whoever xyz kirk cousins is another one they've been throwing out there. So yeah, we'll see yeah, I know exactly so He's still technically the best quarterback for eagent right now and nobody has signed him yet I know the Steelers are waiting to see what happens at aaron rogers But i'm at the point where i'm just like just signed kirk already, you know, I mean, ⁓ Nolan: Dang. Just do it. Keoni McKeague: We just need a quarterback there that at least can push. I think he's a perfect bridge. anyway, I was like, that'd be great for Will Howard, in my opinion. But anyway, let's move on to the running back position where Tier 5 is probably just as large, if not larger. Oh, actually, it's not that bad. And I'm sure, actually, most of these names have probably already been stated on ours. But there, Tier 5 starts off with Kyle Madangay, then Rico Daudo, Ramon Drey Stevenson, Chuba Hubbard, Blake Quorum. Nolan: Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Tony Pollard, Tyler Algier, Zach Charbonneau, Aaron Jones, Jacori Kroski-Merritt, James Connor, Woody Marks, J.K. Dobbins. So yeah, you know, it's funny. I'm a little surprised that ⁓ Fantasy Pros does have so many or doesn't have as many running backs within like their top whatever, because I do feel like they typically have running backs rated pretty high in their draft. stuff so I don't know it's just weird for me because yeah our names will probably be way different than theirs so anyway how many do you have in this tier Nolan and who are they? ⁓ Nolan: Mm-hmm. 12, 12, yeah, not a long list just because like for me, when I'm looking at the, nice, when I'm looking at the outside the quarterback category, when I look at the running back wide receiver and I guess technically the tight end as well, ⁓ these are just like the late round stashes. ⁓ These are the ones that you're just kind of holding out, see what's gonna go down with them. ⁓ Anything after that. Keoni McKeague: Exactly. I have 12 exactly as well. Yeah. Any starters for you in this tier? And I'll put. Nolan: Potentially, yeah, mean potentially one or two and you'll see which ones I'm talking about as I get to it ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. I feel like we'll have some other ones. That's why I'm curious. Anyway. Nolan: Well, I know you mentioned this one last last year. But yeah, have a shot white. starting off this tier, mainly because, you I feel like they are bringing him in to play that Eckler role. But you brought up great points. He did not get enough shine in Tampa because of the emergence of Bucky Irving. And this is another opportunity for him to usurp Bill or Jacori Kroskimer, whatever you want to call him. And I think you're absolutely right with that. I follow you on that sentiment. And I think that Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: When it push comes to shove, there's a good chance I would I may draft him ahead of Bill if they're both available at, you know, some point in I need a running back. So Rashad White, he's a great. Hopefully it's my fault with running back at that point. Yeah. Next up is Kenneth Gainwell. ⁓ Kind of ironic, but for the same inverse reason of Rashad White. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. And hopefully that's your third running back and not your second. Yeah. Or that. yeah. mean, hopefully it's not your second. ⁓ Nolan: he's kind of stepping into Rashad White's role. But I think the bigger upset that he has right now is that we don't know Bucky's status completely. We don't know if one bad crack is going to like send him back to the IR. And that there would be the Kenneth Gainwell show and we saw what he was able to do when Jalen Warren went out for Pittsburgh last year. And I think that's that's one thing that you don't want to doubt, I guess, is what Kenneth Gainwell can do when he's getting the full reps. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. The crazy thing is, it's funny because I didn't know this until he was on The Steelers because he just always seemed like one of those guys that was just there, you know what mean? Like, and I never really paid attention to him when he was at the Eagles. He's very young, you know? I thought he was older than he actually is. I think he's 26 this year. So it's like, I just assumed because it felt, yeah, it felt like. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Mmm. And there's not a lot of miles on him. Like he played limited snaps with Philly. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Exactly. It felt like he was like with the Eagles for like 10 years, but for some reason he wasn't that long with the team. So yeah, he really basically ⁓ played out his ⁓ rookie contract and that was it. Yeah. So was like, it's kind of crazy because I was like, I just assumed he was older. But anyway, shout out Kenny G, man. I was like, I'm so sad we lost him this off season, but Rico Dotto. Nolan: Yeah. Rookie contract, Yeah. Yeah. energy. ⁓ next on the list. You right, you right. Next one is Alvin Kamara. You know, yeah, he's older. He's disgruntled. He's not said anything on whether he's returning this year. But he is a quality running back regardless. It's kind of weird, like two years removed, he was like someone that was... Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Jeez, yeah. Hmm. Mmm. Nolan: three tiers up from here. Now it's kind of funny to see where he's currently at, but you know, Call of Spade is spade. They obviously brought someone in and now he's kind of looking like he's going to be just getting some maybe like 30 % route participation or snap participation. So he is someone that I'm going to keep an eye out for. He may drop down, he may move up. I'm not 100 % sure yet for me individually, but for right now, Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: He is someone that if he's available at this point in my draft, I am going to take a swing on him because it is more than just name value. He is someone that can bring something to this depth of a new Saints team that we've talked about so much. ⁓ Next, I have Emmanuel Wilson. And I'll stack these two together. Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani are right next to each other ⁓ because we, as I mentioned, potentially two starters. One on one is going to be a starter ⁓ for this Seattle team. Zach Charbonneau. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Nolan: TOR's ACL during the playoffs. So regardless of what you want from Zach to return, by the time August, September rolls around, you're asking a real big, big request of someone who just had a season ending injury at the end of a season. So I know for a fact he's not going to be there start week one. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Totally. Nolan: maybe you'll see him closer to Thanksgiving but ⁓ Emmanuel Wilson a strong running back coming from Green Bay ⁓ we've talked about it it's completely baffling how Green Bay just kind of let him go or let him walk ⁓ but Holani is also there Holani is probably just the guy that has the rapport with the team but I didn't necessarily see too much from him last year. came in as that third rotation running back change of pace. He would get some yardage here and there. I never saw anything that really spoke to me that says this is this is a starting running back in the league. ⁓ But I do think Emmanuel Wilson has a good chance to do that. So that's why I have him ranked higher than George. Next, I got Dylan Sampson. ⁓ Yeah, I pushed him up a little bit. A lot of it, guess. I guess technically he's exactly where he was ranked. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. ⁓ wow. Nolan: ⁓ but it's, more because he showed a lot whenever, ⁓ Judkins was injured last season. And I think that it's pretty important to have that kind of tandem available. You've talked about it already, new coaching staff, no ties. It is going to be technically when they report for training camp, Dylan and Judkins going off one-on-one technically to see who can be that starting running back for this team. Do I think that he's better than Judkins? Not necessarily, but. You know, sometimes it takes a coach to see something in you differently than another coach and so on and so forth. You never know. What? Keoni McKeague: I don't know why you hate on that dude so much. You do, because the fact that you think that they're even close is pretty wild. You said it's going to be a training camp battle. You are. Come on. Did you even watch the inception play last year? He ran into it. was like, you ran into everything. Yeah, I know. Nobody watched. I'm just saying I like that, dude. Nolan: I don't hate Judd Kiddens, okay? I didn't say they're close, I said what I said. a little bit. It was hard to watch any Browns games, okay? Keoni McKeague: Watch the tape, he is terrible. I'm sorry, Quid-Shan. This guy, I don't even know what he's doing. It's to say you're in the same realm, unreal. What are we even doing? Nolan: Anyway, next one, I have Chris- what we even doing? ⁓ Chris Rodriguez. ⁓ Chris Rodriguez was a solid rotation piece that they used for the commanders. ⁓ Now that he's with Jacksonville, he is the two behind Tooten so it is gonna be kind of an interesting see. Was it? Keoni McKeague: The tube behind tootin'. You're silly, Nolan. Nolan: Anyway, yeah I that he showed a lot over the past couple seasons that I've seen him play for the commanders. ⁓ I think that's going be really important to have someone that is, I don't want to say veteran, but he is at least a little seasoned going into this new franchise for himself. And I think that he could be a great addition to this offense now that it's cleared the way for Tooten to kind of be that lead back role. And then Chris can kind of back him up. And Chris has gotten first string reps before, just given the injuries that have occurred on the commander. So it's not like he's any stranger to that. So he is a great piece pick. ⁓ He is someone that I would say, because he's a backup on a team that we both are pretty big fans of their, at least what Liam Cohen's offense is, ⁓ he is someone that I would be very favorable about stashing just to see how they use him on his new franchise. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I agree with that. Go ahead. Nolan: ⁓ sorry, let me start with this one because he's not necessarily the same tier as the ones that I'm gonna mention after that. Brian Robinson Jr. You talked about him last year. He is a great... He's probably maybe the best backup right now, I guess you could say, if we're not looking at teams that are using 1A, 1Bs. ⁓ And to pair him in Atlanta with Bajan, another B-Rob, ⁓ I think that's a huge thing for them. And we're going into it... Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: fresh look at this new team. ⁓ Bajan can maybe at least kind of get some I would say they're probably going to use ⁓ Bryan Robinson a lot more than he's been used in the past couple years for the different teams he's been with. ⁓ Sorry, except for the Commanders. He was lead back there, but yeah, he was lead back there. Sorry, I meant like ⁓ with ⁓ the Niners ⁓ because he doesn't have to necessarily Keoni McKeague: I was just saying, was like, he was starting over there. With the Niners, yeah, yeah, I got you. Nolan: Shadow CMC, though Bijon is ranked higher than CMC obviously, but in our drafts. But I feel like this coaching staff is gonna want to at least preserve a little bit of how much they use Bijon because he pretty much got the ball almost every play. And if you want to be able to keep some mileage low on your players knees and legs and joints and everything like that, Brian Robinson is the best option you could possibly have to change that up. So. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. that. Nolan: go get him as much as you can. ⁓ And then the last four. Yeah, Tyrone Tracy, Tajay Spears, Trey Benson, Tank Bixby. Ideally, the backups you would be looking at. ⁓ Not backups that I really trust. But they're also in situations where before the draft before the real life draft, Keoni McKeague: Oof. Oof. Mm-hmm. Nolan: They are also in situations where they could take over a lead role if any injury happens. ⁓ Tyrone is behind Cam. Cam Scadabow obviously is a maniac when he's running through the hole or creating his own hole. ⁓ Taiji Spears, he was kind of touted to be something a lot more in the past season or so. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: you Nolan: The Pollard somehow Mr. Consistency floor, I guess ⁓ But I don't know what kind of Pollard we're getting this season Taiji Spears is someone I would keep an eye out for Trey Benson. We already talked about this Arizona Cardinals backfield We don't know what's going on. Is it gonna be James Connor as the backup? Is it gonna be Trey Benson? Mmm, you know flip a coin roll a dice Keoni McKeague: Yeah He feels like somebody that they should like, I don't know, maybe trade to like the Seahawks. You know what mean? Him on the Seahawks feels like it'd be a really good fit, especially because the Seahawks clearly don't really have somebody who's for sure, at least throw them in the mix with the Seahawks. I don't know. That just makes sense to me. Yeah. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. And then Tank Bigsby, just for the reason of, you know, you're behind Saekwon. Saekwon gets injured for a week, maybe has to sit out for a little bit. Tank Bigsby is someone that I think, yeah, I think he's a great handcuff for this franchise. And he would be something I've been looking at to pick up if I need to snatch anybody. And that'll do it. Keoni McKeague: lead handcuffs. Yeah, I agree with that wholeheartedly. ⁓ It's funny because I have 12 to... ⁓ and for a lot of the same names that you had here as well ⁓ with a little bit of mix ins here and there. But yeah, I started off with Woody Marks. You he was at the bottom of my last year before this. I swapped in for Brian Robinson Jr. because I do think that Brian Robinson Jr. has a better chance at having a defined role with the Falcons as opposed to Woody Marks. ⁓ because really we don't know what's going to happen with the Texans running game in general. ⁓ But more importantly, because now they have David Montgomery. mean, what he marks, I guess, is a compliment to his game, but he's more similar to David Montgomery. So I just feel like that's a weird situation to be dealing with. But anyway, he's here just because if David Montgomery does go down, I mean, we've seen what he marks start. not always consistent, at least there are some great moments, you know, mixed in there. So he's here. Right after him is Kenneth Gainwell. I do believe that there's a big chance that Kenneth Gainwell can be the starter day one. Because like you said, we don't know what's going on with Bucky Irving. ⁓ And really all signs should point to Bucky Irving being the guy, but they haven't. You know what I mean? We've been. dealing with that situation for a while now, trying to figure out whether or not he's going to be the guy and whether or not he's going to be starting. But that hasn't really panned out. So here we are staring down the barrel of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers running backs and not knowing what's going to happen with them. ⁓ Anyway, right after him, I have Isaiah Pacheco because technically he is going to be the new knuckles, even though we don't believe that he's going to be the knuckles. But ⁓ yeah, everything that's coming out of the Detroit Lions camp is that he is going to be at least mixed in there. There will be a split. Between himself and Jameer Gibbs. I'm assuming that's because they do believe they have playoff chances and they do believe that Jameer Gibbs is gonna be the one that carries them during that time. So How that split looks I'm still assuming it's gonna be like 80-20 I don't think it's gonna be anything substantial. But again, he was a starter If you can return to his explosive ways, I mean Technically speaking he'd be a really good handcuff. But I you know, we'll see this is a Nolan: I hope he's working with speed trainers this offseason, please! He should be called Shadow because he's always a step behind. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of stuff that that dude needs to work on. ⁓ huh. And it's a Sonic reference. Okay. ⁓ Anyway, yeah, still a situation that needs to get ironed out. Next on my list is actually Braylon Allen. He will be returning from injury. The Jets really didn't do anything that tells me they're looking at some other replacement for backing up Breeze Hall. ⁓ Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: I mean, realistically, what's his name? Didn't do great in his stead. And I'm trying to remember. have his face in my head, but I can't think of the name of the third running back that was on the team. But I do think that Braylon Allen steps right back into his RB to roll. ⁓ he does become the elite handcuff for that team. ⁓ if something does happen, I don't think they're going to be drafting another running back. ⁓ because truth be told, this isn't a very deep running back class. If you've listened to our podcast thus far, ⁓ and all the tears rankings we've said, You notice we haven't had a lot of the running backs. I mean, it's pretty much been Jeremiah Love and that's it. And that's mostly because this class isn't really taught it to be a very good class. be a lot of guys probably get drafted and just thrown in the mix. We'll see where they fall. I don't know if we're getting anybody who's getting drafted as a day one starter outside of Jeremiah Love. So with that said, I have Braylon Allen here. I think that he steps into. RB2 role and he's a handcuff that I did like having last year and was performing admirably before, you know, the whole injury situation, which was stupid because it was on a kick return, right? Remember that? ⁓ Anyway, right after him, I actually have Kimani Vidal. You know, it's not necessarily because I believe that Kimani Vidal is going to be the RB2 ⁓ because I do. Nolan: Yeah. Keoni McKeague: think that Keaton Mitchell is going to be putting some kind of pressure on that situation. But I do think that there's a chance. mean, the kid performed when he performed every other week. You know what I mean? ⁓ But, you know, they didn't really do anything outside of getting Keaton Mitchell. It's a Marion Hampton himself and ⁓ Keaton Mitchell, obviously. And then it's Mike McDaniel. So as we've seen in years past, Mike McDaniel is a type of guy who likes to use all three of his running backs ⁓ in different roles. We saw HN, Oli Gordon and Jalen Wright all get roles in there for their team respectively. I think there's a good chance that he gets at least thrown into the mix. How much of a mix that is, I don't know, but I'm just taking swings at this point. Hopefully I'm not drafting really any of these guys, but I mean, these are. Nolan: These are guys I'm looking at like close to being free agent pickups. know, just like ones you're keeping a peeking eye on. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they'll be at the very end of my draft, if anything. Like this is 16th pick territory. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. This is the guy I probably grabbing to see who's the hot random free agent pick up. So ⁓ after my tank, Bigsby, who agree with you said handcuffed territory. Great. I do have Tony Pollard next. I have Tony Pollard pretty far down here, but for. Nolan: It's like, I'll just take this guy. I'm gonna drop him weak on anyway. Keoni McKeague: The reason that I do think that it's going to be Jeremiah love starting day one for the Tennessee Titans. I just don't see how they pass up on him. He's an elite running back talent. I know there's a lot of elite defensive prospects at the top of the draft, but I really like the idea. I mean, then again, there is a lot of stuff coming out saying that the Titans obviously have a lot of needs to address, but I don't know if I fully believe in that because they really went out and signed a lot of great players this offseason. So. Nolan: Very true. Keoni McKeague: You know that the coaching change cam ward year two, I think that I'm I'm thinking they're going to draft Jeremiah Love, who is the best prospect on the board. ⁓ Anyway, after that, it's the two Cardinal backups, I'm assuming, because I like we kind of talked about Tyler Algear, I think is going to be the starter. So it's James Connor and Trey Benson. Because I don't know who is going to be the backup, who's going to be healthy, we'll see. Both of them are just here just because ⁓ they both they're both talented. You know what mean? They're both good. So it's not like they shouldn't be played. ⁓ I still firmly believe that James Connor should have been a New York giant. But, you know, you will get to that later. But anyway, yeah. Then after them, I have Jalen Wright for all the reasons I said about the Dolphins, but mostly because the Dolphins don't have anybody set in that RB to roll. Last year, Ali Gordon wasn't necessarily that guy. He Nolan: They're just here. Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: kind of was just a goal line guy. I think Jaylen Wright is more of the guy who can spell HN whenever they need a change of pace or just need to rest HN all that sort of stuff. So I put him here. And the last two are George Wallani and Emmanuel Wilson for all the reasons you said, you know, Seattle Seahawks, not sure what's happening with them. We'll figure out that situation at a later time. But as of right now, that's kind of how they have them listed. And that's where I'm going leave them, because I still think I put them here, but I Probably I'm not going to draft them because I do think that they're going to maybe draft somebody or sign somebody. I don't even know who's really available, but I think that they're still going to get somebody to throw into the mix. And whoever that is, is probably going to be the one that at least gets a shot at starting. And they might even trade for somebody who knows. So anyway, ⁓ I know HN is like the big want for that team. That would be fantastic for the Seahawks. But anyway, let's move on to the wide receiver position because Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: This again is another rather large tier for them and very different for us. I'm assuming because yeah, lot of pretty much all these names are gone already on our list. we got wow. And yeah, I just realized Wandel Robinson is in tier six, so he's not even a part of the conversation. ⁓ Nolan: Wow, yeah, I moved him up. remember that. ⁓ no. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, we both moved them up. Yeah, we both had them in at least, I feel like I had them at tier three maybe? Anyway, yeah, so tier five. ⁓ did you write out my tiers? Nolan: Yeah, we... Yeah, you did. No, because I remember mine was in- he was in tier 4 for me, but I remember you done it the week prior. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ I was about to say I was like, dang, I was like, you just. ⁓ Anyway, yeah, ⁓ Tier five right now starts off with Roma doing say for them. So Cortland, Sutton, DG, more DK, make up, Cardinal, Tate, Alec, Pierce, Marvin, Harrison, Jr., Jordan, Tyson, Chris Godwin, Brian Thomas, Jr., Jacobi Meyers, Michael Wilson, McKay, Lemon, Ricky Pierce, Michael Pittman, Jr. I will say this, you know, Nolan: I remember everything. Log in. Keoni McKeague: I think that their rankings are, you know, like we've been saying, elite. They're very, very accurate, all that sort of stuff. ⁓ but I will also put out there, if you're drafting, there are a lot of guys in this list that I just said that, I mean, if you're not prioritizing them earlier, they're probably gone already. You know what I mean? and as it usually happens throughout draft season, like there are players that people will draft. extremely early just to get them. So I'm just saying, you know what mean? There's a lot of names in here that I'm like, I'm surprised like one day of not even being in this tier is pretty crazy for me. So ⁓ anyway, Nolan, how many do you have in the wide receiver tier and who are they for you? Nolan: I have 12 and they go as this. ⁓ Kalil Shukur starting off. he, you know, by most accounts he is the wide receiver one for the Buffalo Bills. ⁓ Yeah, yeah, yeah. He is more out of the slot so. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. I DJ Moore, but sure. Nolan: Yeah, mean DJ Moore just getting there. He could be the one that's getting that wide receiver one treatment. But Khalil Shaker has been the guy there for the past few years for Josh Allen. ⁓ So I would, that's why I mean obviously I put DJ Moore ahead of him, but that's why Khalil Shaker is kind of at top of this tier because Josh Allen Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: for the reasons you mentioned last time. still has to prove something. Now that he is getting a little more reliable options as receivers, this can have two of them succeeding in the same fashion as they need to. So Kaloshniker would be someone I'm looking out for. ⁓ Number two on this list, I moved him way up from where they had him in his tiers. Darnell Mooney. Keoni McKeague: Agree. Nolan: ⁓ Now that he's with the Giants, I moved him up because of the situation he is currently in now. I think Jackson Dart is a better throwing quarterback than Penix was. I do think that... Darnell Mooney is gonna be someone who's kind of demanding the ball in the right amount next to neighbors. Obviously you have Calvin Austin there as well. I didn't put Calvin Austin in this tier just because, you know, he was limited in how much he was really shown on Pittsburgh. So I want to see some things first as the season progresses before I kind of evaluate where I'm placing him kind of thing. I know, cause Keonig's gonna take him. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: He's gonna be gone. You're not gonna have a chance to draft him. Nolan: Next on the list and I'm hoping I mean I moved him all the way down here so I'm not gonna say I'm hoping that he does better than where he's at but Jameson Williams ⁓ he had yeah Keoni McKeague: Damn. Damn. Did I even? I might be in the same train with you, but I'm like, damn. Nolan: He, when I created this list from from Fantasy Pros, he was ranked 20 and I have him down at 45. So look, do I think it's Jameson's fault that he's in this specific spot? No. Oh. Um, but we, we've talked about a lot. This O line is diminished. Keoni McKeague: Talk about a dude who is in like tier two. Damn. Yes. ⁓ Nolan: ⁓ Jared Goff is going to find himself on his butt a lot more than he's previously had. We've talked about how they're going to try to use probably a faster offense. Jamison Williams is the guy who's into the midfield to the deep. So I don't know how many plays are really going to be able to develop where he's going to get more opportunity each match that they're playing. ⁓ Will he have these random three catches, 70 yards, two touchdown games? Probably. He probably will, but he also will have games where he gets zero and there is precedent for that. And I'm, you know, I hate to say it, but as an previous owner, I benched him, I benched him because I could not deal with that. ⁓ so I, I need to see what Keoni McKeague: You know it's funny and I don't know if this was just an accident. I don't even have him listed. I think I mistakenly ⁓ removed him from one of the other lists and then just forgot to place him somewhere. I mean there's a reason you forget a guy like that because I agree wholeheartedly with what you said. Nolan: ⁓ dang. Mmm. Yeah, yeah. He's talented. He's just, I don't know. It's just, I think everything has to fall correctly for things to go well for him in a game. And I can't guarantee that that's going to be something that's going to happen very often this season. ⁓ Next up, Ricky Pearsall. Ricky Pearsall, you know, technically should be the second receiver for this ⁓ Niners offense. ⁓ He has the same injury or he had the same injury as a lot of the players who sat out for like six to eight weeks last season which was the PCL injury. ⁓ You know he is someone that's supposed to be very good for this organization he has just not had a great chance to do it yet rookie season he started the season being shot last season he had the PCL injury ⁓ he hasn't really gotten a fair shake ⁓ now that Jennings is not there Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: now that IEUK technically has not really said if he's going to be staying or going but all arrows indicate he's going to be gone. ⁓ It's him and Mike Evans. Mike Evans is someone that's going to be like you mentioned last time probably someone more in the red zone look. He's definitely going to be more limited. He can't necessarily say he's going to get like a full wide receiver one treatment. Ricky Purcell is someone that's going to be able to kind of step in for that. I would say that you know hopefully given his health He could be a league winner if things play out correctly. Next on this list, I got Parker Washington, know, the third one in that receiving core, ⁓ other than Brenton Strange, of course. I think he showed a lot of great things last year. was, in regards to all purpose yards, he is someone who is also liable to get you some, you know. Keoni McKeague: No, we're not adding all-purpose yards, Nolan: Yeah, exactly. But I want him to get more opportunity, especially if it's going to be something where he's going to be stepping up like he did last season in place of maybe a struggling BTJ or Jacoby Myers. ⁓ Next on the list, Romeo Dobbs. ⁓ Going to a new situation with a good quarterback. ⁓ I think this is probably the best opportunity. Keoni McKeague: Mm. Nolan: for him. Remember, season removed from last year. He was getting upset with how the team was using him. ⁓ Now he's technically the wide receiver one for this team with only what Matt Collins and ⁓ Kyle Williams and Kayshaun Booty. ⁓ I always forget Kayshaun. I'm sorry. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: I was like, how dare you disrespect the booty? Unreal. That's crazy. was like, and the fact that you said him third, what are you doing? How do you forget booty on top of that? It's like the most unique name ever. I know, like, come on. Nolan: Anywho, ⁓ You never forget the booty. ⁓ But I think that this is going to be something where it's not all these cooks in the kitchen where the Green Bay Packers had and he could be looked at as that number one guy. ⁓ Jaden Higgins next for the Houston Texans. I liked what I saw from him last year. I think he did a great job his rookie season. Nico Collins and him as kind of like a one to punch. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm. Mm-hmm. Nolan: for CJ Stroud, as long as CJ Stroud plays up to where he's supposed to be. It's gonna be a fantastic thing. ⁓ Bottom down on that list, Matthew Golden. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Okay, lock back in. Nolan: You know, was a lot that was coming out for him his rookie season that what he was supposed to be that reports were saying, ⁓ they're just holding him out so that they can unleash him at the right time. It never happened. It never happened. ⁓ But I do think that he is a very talented wide receiver. And I think that it's going to be something where there he's going to get now that Dabz is gone, probably get more opportunity. I'm excited to see where that takes him. He would be someone that I'm definitely stashing at the later rounds just in case. ⁓ Josh Downs. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: Not much more to be said other than Michael Pittman's gone, Alec Pierce just got a contract, Josh Downs is probably the next guy up for that. You're gonna wanna- probably stash him as he is the second receiver. He got shafted last season because he was in two receiver sets. He was the third receiver, so he never actually got to see the field as much. ⁓ But whenever he's on the field, he has a great completion rate. And I think that he is someone that could be a lot bigger of a piece this season for this team. Keoni McKeague: I just realized how deep like you kind of got to go for some of these guys because yeah, I don't even have I don't have Josh Jones on here either. I Josh Jones is not somebody even have being drafted at this point. Yeah, crazy. Nolan: Hmm Yeah. Next is Jaden Reed Not much more to be said about this Green Bay team. He got injured last year I think he was broken clavicle and I think he injured ⁓ I forgot what else it was like a dual injury or something like that, but ⁓ he was he's a great piece for that team and Same thing less cokes in the kitchen more opportunity for him starting off the season fully healthy getting into it ⁓ After that Rashid Shaheed deep ball threat Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: I love what he did for the Saints and then when he went to Seattle I was even more like I was worried of what Seattle was going to become with him there and yeah. Keoni McKeague: Oof. A lot of names, man. That's crazy. Even Rasheed Nolan: Yeah, so I want to see what he goes into with a full training camp with the Seattle Seahawks team ⁓ as the second receiver. Third, if you want to put Cooper Cup. Yeah, if you want to put Cooper Cup there. ⁓ Last on the list, I technically have Xavier Worthy. I wasn't really confident about putting him there ⁓ for all the reasons that we've discussed in past years. Where's when's Patty going to start? What's it going to look like? Keoni McKeague: I don't have a Cup either. Yeah. Nolan: The reason I have him at the bottom is because the next three guys, to my understanding as of this recording, have not signed anywhere. Stefan Diggs, Joanne Jennings, Debo Samuel. All those guys would usurp most of the guys in this tier, ⁓ but especially Xavier Worthy. Just saying why Xavier Worthy is on my list is just because, you know, we'll see what happens, right? ⁓ But yeah, that kind of completes my list. Keoni McKeague: Hmm Yeah. just double digging at Xavier Worthy. So you weren't even going to be on my list. on top of that, like anybody who anybody who gets signed, you're going to be way below them anyway. Damn. Nolan: You weren't gonna be like, but like you can prove me wrong. Like if you wanna get me tickets to go to Arrowhead, like 50 yard line, I got you. I'm not even a fan. I'm not gonna lie to you. Keoni McKeague: He's a fake fan. Don't listen to him. like damn even worse don't give him any tickets. ⁓ Yeah I got 16 in this tier but like I said this is the take a swing tier. I mean you'll hear half of the names I have in this are pretty much just you're hoping that they perform at whatever a lot of these guys aren't signed like you mentioned already but at this point in the draft we're probably near the end of the draft. I'm grabbing guys that I think could Nolan: D'oh! Keoni McKeague: Conceivably be very good for me later on down the road. So that's what I'm looking at at this point. So at the top of the list, I got Brandon Iuke Again, not somebody who is technically signed. I mean, I don't even think he's technically been released yet They're still waiting on the whole contract situation to play out that comes at a later time I'm assuming just so that his money doesn't count as much against the cap When that does happen, I imagine that he's gonna end up like at least looking at the Washington commanders and if that ends up happening again. Rashad White played with Jayden Daniels. Brendan Ayuk also played with Jayden Daniels. I really like the fit of him being there. I think he's still talented. He's probably going to be a headache for them at some point. But I mean, who knows? Maybe the headspace is going to be different now that he's with friends. So I'm putting Brendan Ayuk firmly at the top of this one, because I do think that if you draft him here and he's available and he ends up on that team, mean, that's a talent that could step in immediately as one be on that situation in that team. So ⁓ anyway right after him I've Quentin Johnston. ⁓ I dropped him firmly down here because I thought the role man I'm just not sure what's gonna happen with him ⁓ He had a roller coaster of a year last year started off very hot and then sort of trailed off and then kind of came back but then didn't really had a game where he put up a zero burger so There was a lot going on with his role. ⁓ think with Mike McDaniels, it makes it even more convoluted. We're not sure what his role is going to be in this team. So I haven't weighed down here ⁓ as an upside swing. After him, I actually have Joanne Jennings. ⁓ Not yet signed. lot of signs pointing to him being a Oakland or excuse me, Las Vegas Raider. Why do I keep saying Oakland Raider? I like, just I don't know. It's synonymous with their name. That's why. ⁓ Nolan: Just say Raiders, ⁓ Keoni McKeague: So a lot of signs pointing to him being the Vegas Raiders ⁓ number one. I think that's a great fit to be completely honest. ⁓ I really liked the idea of giving ⁓ Fernando Mendoza a veteran receiver, somebody who can ⁓ not only play and catch the ball for him, but also be somebody who can mentor him and talk to him about how wide receivers in the NFL work. that's somebody that I'm putting there because again, If this is my last two picks, I'm swinging at somebody who I think can actually maybe even step in as a starter for me at some point. So right after him, I have Jayden Reed. Again, everything you said don't really need to hash that. You already said it all. Romeo Dobbs is the next one here. And the reason the only reason I have him down here is because there's so many rumors about AJ Brown going to the Patriots. Nolan: Mm. Keoni McKeague: I think if AJ Brown doesn't go there, I would probably slot Romeo Dobbs somewhere higher because I do think that he can be a true wide receiver one. ⁓ One ish, I'll say. I was like, I don't know. You know, I mean, I'm not saying I'm banking my whole team on Romeo Dobbs, but I do think that there's a scenario where he can step in and get all the reps for the Patriots. But anyway, after him, I actually have Denzel Boston, a big kid coming out of Washington, big receiver going to be drafted somewhere. They have him slayed in the first round. ⁓ I mean, there's a lot of good situations that he could land in, but he's also the fourth best receiver in this class. I think that there's a good chance that he ends up somewhere that utilizes him as a wide receiver, too. And if that does happen, I really like his chances at being fantasy relevant this year. Right after him, it's actually Michael Pittman, Jr. For all the reasons I kind of talked about with the quarterbacks, man, I'm just not sure who the quarterback is going to be, what that situation is going to look like. Nolan: Mmm, wow. Keoni McKeague: Aaron Rodgers wasn't necessarily really good at using two different wide receivers. So the Pittsburgh Steelers in general on paper and in real life, they're going to be a great team. Fantasy wise, I'm just not super bought in on any of the wide receivers as of yet. I will say this. I actually think that there's a better chance that Michael Pittman, DK McCaff, all those guys take an uptick in value if it's if it's Will Howard and not Aaron Rodgers, because I think Will Howard is just going to bomb. balls like he's not going to be trying to you know play it safe or you know really really do anything that's not ⁓ conducive for a wide receiver in fantasy. ⁓ Right after him is Jamison Williams I did put him in the rankings now because I completely forgot that name apparently. ⁓ But I do have him down here anyway because again he's somebody I always avoid in every single draft. I mean they always have him high and I never believe in him because there's a good reason similar to Zay Flowers. Nolan: Mm. That's what we do here. Keoni McKeague: And I'll say this, I've never been burned by that. I was like, you know, as many times as I feed these guys, never once have I been like, oh, man, should have drafted Jameson Williams and Zay Flowers. Never once. You know, really, though, I was just like, and I think was Zay on college team this year. He might have been, yeah, so even more so burned me in the final. But I mean, at the end of the day, those guys are not great fantasy assets, and that's why they're here. Nolan: I think so. Keoni McKeague: Ricky Pierce all is my next one for all the reasons you said. It's just I liked what you said. So I'm going to move on the next three. All not signed all guys who, again, if I'm in 15, 16 round territory, I'm taking a swing. It's it's Tyree Kill, Stefan Diggs, Depot Samuel. All three of these guys technically not signed. But I do think that if they step into any sort of situation, it's probably going to be a situation where they get a significant role because they are like sort of those championship. or bus contender type of guy. So Tyra Kale obviously is the biggest question mark because he's returning still from his injury. Probably won't be so late, but he could be a league winner for you if he ends up with the Kansas City Chiefs and ends up stepping right into the original role that he had. So just saying that putting that scenario out there. These are dreams, obviously, but putting it out there anyway. ⁓ After them is Trey Harris. I do think that Trey Harris is going to be the guy that is putting the most question marks on Quentin Johnson's value because Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: I think Trey Harris is better than Quinton Johnston. ⁓ We still have to see that play out. We'll see how training camp goes and we'll see what Mike Mcdynos has cooked up over there. Khalil Shakur is next. ⁓ Really, he just takes a huge step down because with DJ Moore being there and with Josh Allen not really being a throwing QB, you know, we said that on the last one. I don't think that Khalil Shakur is going to have a really defined role. I still think he'll get the short yardage stuff, but. Maybe in a PPR league he's a little bit better than he is in a half PPR. But anyway, for us this is half PPR sort of ranking. So next is Jayden Higgins. I do believe everything you said. I really, really do like him. I think the talent is there. Just not super bodied on his QB. I think his QB sucks. ⁓ Anyway, moving on Xavier Worthy is the next one for all the reasons you said perfectly. So moving off of that one and the final player that I have here pick number or number 59 of my wide receiver group is actually Omar Kopp. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Omar Cooper Jr. ⁓ Again, the fifth wide receiver in what is touted to be a stacked wide receiver class. ⁓ So I do think that Omar Cooper Jr. is another one that could be ideal player in an ideal situation, could be really good type of guy. So ⁓ again, it's going to matter where he lands. But I think that he has tremendous upside as a player. And I really, really like his scouting report. So anyway, let's move on to the tight end position where. I'm assuming we're going to be super off again, but we'll see from where we are with action. no, I think the tight ends is kind of more we're in line with them, right? So their tier five is actually only three names. It's Mike Gisicky, Jake Tongus and Noah Gray. So and a lot of the names in the last year, we kind of already threw out there. So this might be a very, very different tier for us. Nolan, who do you have in your tight end rankings in tier five and how many do you have? ⁓ wow. Nolan: I think so. I have 10 actually. ⁓ Well, this one it's not necessarily for, it's because you know, these are 31. So it's like, pretty much. Keoni McKeague: How many do you have at this point with the 10? Oh, so yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You kind of caught up to me then, because I was like, I have 33 total, so yeah. Nolan: Yeah. So overall, you kind of look at it. These guys potentially are going to be guys that you're going to take a reach on, I would say, if you need to, ⁓ just depending on who's off the board. ⁓ TJ Hawkinson, you know, well, what? Keoni McKeague: Are you going to resound them? You're going to reach on them? All right. Nolan: Yeah, reach on all of them. My team's gonna be all tight ends. ⁓ that's where you're going with this. Nevermind. ⁓ I was, you know, gotcha. Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. All right. You perv. ⁓ Next is Mark Andrews. Kind of like old reliable, I guess is the best way to put them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. ⁓ you went, ⁓ can't hear. We're mixed signals. Gotcha. Yeah. Okay. All right. Okay. Wow, damn. Damn. He's the number one, damn. Nolan: He is the number one, there's no Isaiah likely there, but it's just, I don't... Keoni McKeague: I mean, I can't say much. I had him at Tier 4, so I was like, what number is he for you? Nolan: ⁓ two on our number of total 23. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, totally. Oh, okay. So actually, I have a listed later than you. I have a 24. So yeah, okay, nevermind. I'd be more disrespectful. Nolan: ⁓ okay. ⁓ Next I have Gunner Helm. For all the reasons that you mentioned last pod, he's gonna be the one starting week one. ⁓ I have him down here because that's mainly where he's slated on consensus to be drafted, but he is someone, if I look at what I like on the training camp stuff reports, ⁓ he was kind of the same idea where I was looking at Tyler Warren early last season to pick up, but... Keoni McKeague: Mmm. Nolan: Of course you got him first and everything like that. Gunnar Helm is someone that now that he's got a year under his belt being in the league, he could actually be someone that I reach for. ⁓ If I need to maybe secure a second tight end or if like all my, for some reason, if all my tight ends are no longer picked, I might take a swing on him just to have it. ⁓ Next one, AJ Barner. He started showing a lot of great flashes last year for the Seahawks. ⁓ Going into it, same quarterback. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: different offense but I think Adrian Marner is a mainstay for what they're gonna be using as weapons and then next to Terrence Ferguson, Colby Parkinson, I stacked them back to back ⁓ for all the same reasons I mentioned last time when you said them we don't know what they're gonna they each could get like two catches each but each of them will get a touchdown so like you win either way kind of ⁓ and then Kate Otton after that Kate Otton I Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: It's weird because I feel like K. Doughton should be higher, but he also had a very poor year last year and whether that was for him specifically because of him or because of Baker dealing with stuff or... Yeah, I think that he could be someone you also may want to... Yeah, yeah. David Njoku, once he gets signed somewhere, I have him there just because he is a talent that should not be overlooked. Keoni McKeague: I really like that. Yeah, I agree with that. ⁓ Talented wise, it feels like he should be there. It's just, yeah. oooo Nolan: and he could, yeah, he could usurp a ton of these, these tiers if he goes to the right situation. ⁓ last two, George Kittle, just on the basis of I don't know when he's coming back, but he is still George Kittle. And then after that is just Theo Johnson. And Theo Johnson is just there because he's there. Keoni McKeague: That is a name I don't even have, Mm-hmm. Wow, damn, yeah. Nolan: I I made this list and was just I debated not putting him in there but I was like you know what he probably had his best like best showing in the second half of last season maybe that'll kind of show something more as they start this season but Isaiah likely is there so it's very likely he will be shafted to the bench Okay, that's enough. Keoni McKeague: Was that it? ⁓ wow, you said 10 names really quickly. Yeah, it's tight ends. Not a lot to talk about with tight ends. yeah, so at the top of mine is going to be Kate Otten. I only have six in this tier, so Kate Otten again for everything you said like should be really good and honestly in a high powered offense that you know was really, really clicking two years ago. Nolan: I mean, they're, you know. With no Mike Evans now, let's keep that in mind. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, exactly. He should be the red zone target. I mean, all things told, but. That hasn't really played out, so up after that is AJ Barner, which is what you said. A lot of flashes, but he also disappeared. He was one of the guys that I picked up post craft injury, so ⁓ yeah, had to ride that roller coaster every single week. ⁓ Anyway, at number 30, I actually have Eli Stowers, the second best Titan in this draft class. Nolan: Buh. Keoni McKeague: Depending on the situation, because I do think like Kenyon Sadiq, there's a possibility he ends up with the Chiefs, could be their tight end of the future. But because you'll be kind of in the weird opposite role of Travis Kelce might not get the shine. To me, Eli Stowers, if he falls to the right squad is the guy that I am buying pretty high on as being a guy this year. ⁓ He might be the Colston Loveland. Ish, but I do think in a perfect situation, he ends up on a team where he is. The starter day one and for me, the perfect team right now would be the one that he's usurping who's right below him on my list. And that's Evan Ingram, because I do think the Denver Broncos would be a perfect landing spot for him. Evan Ingram didn't really show too much in that system. I think Eli Stowers can step in day one, the be the starter for the team. He's a tremendous receiving Titan. And I think that. Nolan: Mm-mm. Keoni McKeague: This is arguably a 1a1b situation with him and Kenyon Sadiq. But obviously a lot of people like what Sadiq does just from a, you know, overall game perspective. But for me, Eli Stowers is not far behind if not ahead of him. So I really like him as a tight end prospect for fantasy purposes. But yeah, the last two that I have on my list, 32 and 33, are actually both of the Pittsburgh Steelers tight ends. Pat Firemuth, Darnale Washington. ⁓ We'll see how the situation plays out for the team. ⁓ You know, they let go of John Smith that clearly indicates that the two of these guys are to the future, at the tight end position for them. They like to run the two tight ends set a lot. And Darnale Washington, obviously being one of the best, if not the best blocking tight end in all of NFL right now. ⁓ I think that there will be more of a receiving role for him for Mike McCarthy's system. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ We saw that years ago with his two tight end sets in Green Bay as well as in Dallas. So I'm curious to see how that situation plays out. But I do think Mike McCarthy here puts them both in draftable territory for me because I was curious if I was going to even draft either of them. But Mike McCarthy for me is creative enough to like put them in situations where they will thrive. So that's why I have them here. That's how I end off my tight end. And that is how we end tier five. of the conversation. As we kind of mentioned already, there are a ton of names that did not make it to these lists. ⁓ I mean, we are 14 rounds kind of considering, right, value-wise for us because we're obviously counting for two rounds of defense kickers, right? You have to include those two rounds worth of players because everybody needs one-on-one, right, at the very least. ⁓ Yeah. Nolan: they suck! I'm sorry, that was... I was kidding. Keoni McKeague: It's crazy how different, if we went, like tier six would have been if we were doing last year's draft, right? Like the 18 rounds sort of situation. But this is a very, very different looking list that we have here now. But we are here. We are at the end. If you followed us all the way through our tiers, we thank you so much for joining us. We will be updating things as we kind of move along here. I think eventually we'll get some sort of like write up. You know what mean? I think that would be interesting for us to like post somewhere so that you can kind of see the list and, you know, tell us if you agree or disagree with us and all that sort of stuff. But other than that, you know, we will be updating post draft, which is middle of April. And there will be a lot of things I'm sure get shifted around because of that. Anyway, Nolan, do you have anything you want to say to the people here because they've been following us along for all five tiers of this tier conversation? Nolan: Thanks for coming along for the ride, we're very excited to bring you more NFL content as it releases. Keoni McKeague: I'm excited for NFL stuff in general. Yeah, I am excited for football and excited for the draft. Excited to get to hang out with the boys again in Vegas. ⁓ it's going to be fun. Anyway, with that said, I think that will do it for this very special episode of the fifth down to your five conversation. It has been a pleasure. It's been a joy for all of us here. Nolan: Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun! Mm-hmm. Some tickled pinks and you know, woo! Keoni McKeague: at Poi and Soy. Nolan: Good vibes and love, everybody. Keoni McKeague: Bang, bang.
