- 0:35Speaker 2: So we're back for another session. Amen, or glory to God.
- 0:39Speaker 1: No time for God, No time for God. People are running.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I run, not run physically like this, but I run
- 0:47Speaker 1: like my day starts early and I'm going throughout the
- 0:50Speaker 1: whole day. My brother in Christ messed inboxed me and said, Bro,
- 0:54Speaker 1: I don't know how you keep it going. You inspire me,
- 0:56Speaker 1: you keep on moving. It's like you never get tired.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I get tired. Amen, I just don't get tired of God.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't get tired of doing what God caused me
- 1:04Speaker 1: to do. I don't get tired of ministry. I don't
- 1:06Speaker 1: get tired of reaching out with the gospel.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Those are the things that really inspire me. Those are
- 1:13Speaker 1: the things that keep me going. Actually, man, it gives
- 1:16Speaker 1: me purpose. The plan of God is perfect, right, and
- 1:19Speaker 1: the purpose of God is perfect over my life and
- 1:22Speaker 1: then over your life if you allow Him to work.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Through your life. Amen.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Some people are living like God is wasting their time
- 1:32Speaker 1: on earth.
- 1:33Speaker 2: You ever met somebody like that? So that's a waste
- 1:35Speaker 2: of time.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't go to church, I don't believe in God.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I don't read the Bible. That's a waste of time. Right,
- 1:40Speaker 1: it's antiquated, it's not relevant no more. You heard the argument,
- 1:44Speaker 1: You heard the people's excuses. You heard what they say,
- 1:46Speaker 1: it's too hard to be a Christian. I can't take
- 1:48Speaker 1: this no more. You heard that too.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Way back, I used to say it's hard being a Christian.
- 1:54Speaker 1: But now that I realize, Amen. For the past fifteen
- 1:59Speaker 1: eighteen years, Amen, I realized that was far from the truth.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Lloyd's yoke is easy. His burdens are light. He wants
- 2:08Speaker 1: he doesn't even want us to carry burdens. He wants
- 2:11Speaker 1: us to carry our burdens to him. You know, really
- 2:15Speaker 1: share our burdens with our brothers and sisters in Christ
- 2:18Speaker 1: not to carry them all on our shoulders. But if
- 2:20Speaker 1: you're like me a little stubborn in those areas, sometimes
- 2:23Speaker 1: you try to figure things out on your own. I
- 2:25Speaker 1: try to figure things out on my own. Let me
- 2:27Speaker 1: just bring it to me, Amen. And that's not the
- 2:30Speaker 1: way God wants me to live. He wants me to
- 2:32Speaker 1: know that spending time with Him, having time for him,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I should say, a man, because we have Holy Spirit
- 2:38Speaker 1: living in us, so it's two four seven. But having
- 2:41Speaker 1: time for him, in other words, having time to pray,
- 2:44Speaker 1: having time to reach your word, having time to spread
- 2:48Speaker 1: the gospel and to speak life to one another, having
- 2:52Speaker 1: time to love one another accordingly, Amen. Some people are
- 2:55Speaker 1: living like that's not good enough for them. Some people
- 2:58Speaker 1: are living like I don't have time for that. That's
- 3:00Speaker 1: how some people are living. We're gonna be a Philippians
- 3:02Speaker 1: shot the number three verses eighteen and nineteen to see
- 3:05Speaker 1: what God's word has to say about this. But no
- 3:08Speaker 1: time for God is the name of the podcast today
- 3:11Speaker 1: on the Morning Devo. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:15Speaker 1: prayer requests, or anything along those lines, don't hesitate to
- 3:18Speaker 1: leave a comment on the podcast. Whether I'm live or not.
- 3:21Speaker 1: On social media networks. There's a live chat on live
- 3:24Speaker 1: that sob it is with a z RG. There's a
- 3:27Speaker 1: live chat there as well. Don't hesitate to leave the
- 3:29Speaker 1: comments or whatever you.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Want to share. Amen, we are here, we are here together.
- 3:34Speaker 2: We are here. We're better together. Amen.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Pastor Michael James, God bless you, my friend and my bro.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It's good to see you on the morning Devo. Amen,
- 3:42Speaker 1: it's good to see you. So Philippians three eighteen and nineteen.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Get your Bible apps ready, your Bible ready.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Amen. We're gonna dive right into that scripture. But first
- 3:49Speaker 2: we're gonna pray. After we pray, we'll share this out
- 3:52Speaker 2: for like sixty seconds. Help me break the algorithm police
- 3:56Speaker 2: or whatever you want to call them, amen, and the
- 3:58Speaker 2: algorithm authorities. Right, and I'm shared this with somebody that
- 4:03Speaker 2: God puts on your heart, or maybe a group, or.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Maybe a couple of groups, or maybe several groups, however
- 4:08Speaker 1: you want to do it. Sixty seconds, we take that
- 4:10Speaker 1: time and share that out. We have time to share,
- 4:12Speaker 1: right Amen. Some people don't have time for God. Some
- 4:15Speaker 1: people don't even have time to share this, but I do.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We do right as the Kingdom of God, as the
- 4:20Speaker 1: people of God, as the body of Christ. So let's
- 4:23Speaker 1: go ahead and pray. Father, I thank you for everything
- 4:26Speaker 1: that you do, because everything you do is good. I pray,
- 4:29Speaker 1: Lod God, that you continue to give his eyes to
- 4:31Speaker 1: see your goodness. I pray Lod God, that you would
- 4:34Speaker 1: give us ears to hear your word, and you would
- 4:36Speaker 1: give us hands to reach out to others with the
- 4:39Speaker 1: gospel message, your gospel truth, your gospel message, your grace,
- 4:43Speaker 1: your mercy, your love. Thank you, Lo God for creating
- 4:46Speaker 1: a forever family mindset in the body of Christ. I
- 4:49Speaker 1: pray Lo God, that we will receive your love through
- 4:52Speaker 1: your word, that we receive revelation through your word by
- 4:55Speaker 1: way of Holy Spirit. I pray Lod God, that you
- 4:57Speaker 1: would clear some time up in our day, that we
- 5:00Speaker 1: will realize that in our twenty fourth our clock, that
- 5:04Speaker 1: there should be some time dedicated devoted to you, Lord Jesus.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And this is what this is for. Thank you, Lord
- 5:11Speaker 1: God for these morning DeVos. Thank you, Lord God for
- 5:13Speaker 1: allowing me to have some time first thing in the
- 5:16Speaker 1: morning to set that time apart to devote some time
- 5:20Speaker 1: for you first, because I know everything flows better after
- 5:24Speaker 1: we put you first. Lord Jesus, I pray a hedge
- 5:27Speaker 1: of protection. I pray, Lord God, that you will help
- 5:29Speaker 1: us to be kind towards one another. I pray, Lord God,
- 5:32Speaker 1: your arkman angels and minister angels, your warring angels, will
- 5:34Speaker 1: annihilate the tactics of the enemies, the plan of the
- 5:37Speaker 1: enemy over our lives. I pray by faith that you,
- 5:40Speaker 1: Lord God, will set this day apart for your glory,
- 5:45Speaker 1: for us to worship you, for us to praise You,
- 5:47Speaker 1: for us to continue to follow after You without distraction.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I pray this by faith, knowing that You are able
- 5:52Speaker 1: to hear these prayers and answer them according to every
- 5:55Speaker 1: single individual life on the other side of the screen
- 5:58Speaker 1: and on the other side of this My prayers by
- 6:00Speaker 1: faith and a powerful name above all names, the name
- 6:03Speaker 1: of Jesus Christs. She wihaw much sik our Savior and
- 6:06Speaker 1: Jesus name. I prayer is by faith and all those
- 6:08Speaker 1: agree who agreed, we say amen to the Amen.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Amen.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Let's go for it, brother one, I see you, God,
- 6:15Speaker 1: blessed brother. Good morning and blessing to everybody that's tuned in.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Thank you so much for the blessing. Thank you so
- 6:20Speaker 1: much for coming through my bro with my friend.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So let's go for it. Help me share this out.
- 6:24Speaker 1: After these sixty seconds, Sharon, we'll get right back into it.
- 6:27Speaker 1: We're gonna be in Philippians, chapter number three, Verses eighteen
- 6:31Speaker 1: and nineteen.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I'll be right back, Amen.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Amen, see an White, I see you, good morning, God
- 7:54Speaker 1: bless you, welcome to the morning devout with my brother
- 7:56Speaker 1: with my friends.
- 7:57Speaker 2: That yeah, I think that's who it is. I can't
- 8:00Speaker 2: see your profile. Amen. Also, sister Joyce, good morning, God
- 8:05Speaker 2: bless you. I see you. She sends blessing to the
- 8:07Speaker 2: groups for a hope. Those are just listening.
- 8:10Speaker 1: When I'm shouting people out because I'm reading the comments, Amen,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and on the audio only and on a podcast, you're like,
- 8:16Speaker 1: what is he talking about?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Who is he talking to? Is nobody here on the chat?
- 8:20Speaker 1: When I'm talking to people on the live chat, Amen,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I always forget to explain that because I know a
- 8:24Speaker 1: lot of people.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Will wonder who's he shouting out? Why he's always shouting
- 8:28Speaker 2: out people?
- 8:29Speaker 1: You come through, I'll shout you out, Amen, recognize you
- 8:32Speaker 1: to a point where sometimes I can't because it's too
- 8:34Speaker 1: many comments. But I try my best to get out
- 8:37Speaker 1: the comments to all those and greet everybody who's coming through.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Sister Joanne, I see you, good morning, God bless you.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Morning Devo, my sister and my friend.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Amen.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Will you be able to join a podcast where you
- 8:48Speaker 1: can share everything about yourself absolutely freelanc and matured.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Amen. Just send me a link, send me a date,
- 8:54Speaker 2: let's plan it. Amen.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Well, I'll share as much as I can. This is
- 8:58Speaker 1: what I do here on the Morning Devo. We share
- 9:00Speaker 1: the gospel message.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Amen. It's not even my message that he allows to
- 9:05Speaker 2: share his message, his word, his promises. Amen. And we
- 9:09Speaker 2: actually could apply that into our own lives as well.
- 9:12Speaker 2: So we're here.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So again, the name of this podcast today no time
- 9:17Speaker 1: for God. And it's unfortunate right that people live that
- 9:22Speaker 1: way in and say, listen, I don't got time for that.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You never heard people say I got time for church.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I ain't got time for religion.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Well, surprised out of everything that I speak about, ninety
- 9:34Speaker 2: eight percent of what I speak about on these mon
- 9:35Speaker 2: of DeVos. Really, I don't promote a religion. I don't
- 9:38Speaker 2: promote the church and denomination. Amen. When I'm doing is.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Trying to really encourage you to get into the word
- 9:46Speaker 1: of God for yourself.
- 9:48Speaker 2: That's like the bottom line.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And for those who are following me and you know me, Amen,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you know this is really a conversation that I wish
- 9:56Speaker 1: I would have had between me and my son, who
- 9:58Speaker 1: is now in his thirties, from the time it's recording.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Amen. So I take these more than devo serious because
- 10:05Speaker 2: I know.
- 10:06Speaker 1: That if I ever had a opportunity to have these
- 10:08Speaker 1: conversations with my son when I was younger, Amen, this
- 10:12Speaker 1: is what I would have been talking about. So thank
- 10:14Speaker 1: you guy for your grace, your mercy, amen, and all
- 10:17Speaker 1: of it. I receive your grace and your mercy, Lord God.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Amen.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And a lot of dads know what I'm talking about.
- 10:24Speaker 1: If you only, if we only would have knew what
- 10:27Speaker 1: we know now, or if we were to ever activate it, Amen,
- 10:31Speaker 1: the love of God in our lives when our kids
- 10:33Speaker 1: were younger, Amen, our firstborns were younger, I think it
- 10:37Speaker 1: would have been a different situation. But God's working things,
- 10:40Speaker 1: all things out for the good for those who what
- 10:43Speaker 1: who love Him. And if you love God, you do
- 10:45Speaker 1: what you follow his commandments.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Amen. Let's get into it right here. Amen. No time
- 10:51Speaker 2: for God. The name of today's morning Devo.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Amen, And I got, of course that clock ticking in
- 10:57Speaker 1: the image to that way you could see at the urgency,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and everything's upside down without God.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Everything's upside down without God.
- 11:05Speaker 1: That's why I put that city in the cloud upside down, Amen,
- 11:08Speaker 1: because that's the way I see it. If you don't
- 11:10Speaker 1: have time for God, then that means your life is
- 11:12Speaker 1: upside down. It's not going in the right direction. And yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you're wasting time without God. That's for sure, my humble opinion.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Philippians three eighteen and nineteen. The Word says, for there
- 11:25Speaker 1: are many of whom I have often told you and
- 11:29Speaker 1: now tell you even with tears, who live as enemies
- 11:34Speaker 1: of the Cross of Christ, rejecting and opposing his way
- 11:39Speaker 1: of salvation, whose fate is destruction, whose God is their belly,
- 11:46Speaker 1: their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity, and whose glory
- 11:54Speaker 1: is in their shame, who focus their mind on earthly
- 12:00Speaker 1: and temporal things.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Man, that's deep.
- 12:05Speaker 1: People literally that you know and that I know, live
- 12:09Speaker 1: in this way. They live as enemies of the Cross.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And some of them don't even know, like they don't
- 12:16Speaker 1: literally get up and say I don't want to be
- 12:17Speaker 1: the enemy of the Cross. No, but they are actually
- 12:20Speaker 1: rejecting and opposing his way of salvation, the Lord's way
- 12:24Speaker 1: of salvation, by their actions, by what they say, their attitude,
- 12:28Speaker 1: their deeds, how they mock us as believers. Amen, they're
- 12:34Speaker 1: actually telling God, I don't have time for you. I
- 12:38Speaker 1: don't have time for this. Whose God is their belly?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Now that's interesting the way it's phrased here, this is
- 12:44Speaker 1: the amplified version. Amen, whose fate is destruction? Whose God
- 12:49Speaker 1: is their belly? The worldly appetites? Man, I tell people, listen,
- 12:54Speaker 1: this world is like a magnet. It draws you closer
- 12:57Speaker 1: to the system of destruction. It entices you to get
- 13:01Speaker 1: on the broadway to destruction. Amen, Like the narrow path
- 13:07Speaker 1: that the scripture talks about is not as appealing to
- 13:10Speaker 1: some people as the broadway which leads to destruction. Because
- 13:15Speaker 1: of our worldly appetite or their worldly appetite, I should say,
- 13:19Speaker 1: their sensuality, their vanity, and whose glory isn't where and what?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Their glory is not in the Lord, their glory is
- 13:27Speaker 1: in their shame. They focus their mind on earth fleet things.
- 13:31Speaker 1: They focus their minds on temporal things. And if that's
- 13:34Speaker 1: you and you're like struggling in those areas. Man, Just
- 13:37Speaker 1: be honest with God. He's going to help you, Amen,
- 13:40Speaker 1: But you have to make time. Allow God to help you.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Allow God to move you in the right direction. Allow
- 13:49Speaker 1: God to work through your life. Allow God to work
- 13:51Speaker 1: through your family's life. Allow God to speak to you.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Have a listening ear, amen, because otherwise you're going to
- 13:58Speaker 1: be so distracted, so busy, you might even be doing
- 14:01Speaker 1: things that you deem to be from God and get
- 14:04Speaker 1: so busy that you forget to sit down and listen
- 14:08Speaker 1: to what the instructions of the Lord are actually directing
- 14:12Speaker 1: you to do.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I think true wisdom, golly wisdom is here and knowing
- 14:18Speaker 1: what God is saying and then applying what God has
- 14:21Speaker 1: told you to do or actually doing. That's wisdom to me.
- 14:25Speaker 1: And golly wisdom is being able to understand what God
- 14:29Speaker 1: is saying.
- 14:30Speaker 2: To you and to me.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Golly wisdom is a moving thing. Golly wisdom is an
- 14:35Speaker 1: action word. Golly wisdom is available to anyone who calls
- 14:41Speaker 1: and asks for wisdom.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Amen.
- 14:44Speaker 1: The Bible says, you want wisdom, A man asks the Lord,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and he will generously provide you the wisdom you need
- 14:51Speaker 1: to live This life day by day, many by minute,
- 14:54Speaker 1: a man focused on the author and perfector of our faith,
- 14:59Speaker 1: which is the Lord Jesus by way of his Holy Spirit.
- 15:02Speaker 2: So we prioritize God first.
- 15:07Speaker 1: But people that you know that I know, they're prioritizing
- 15:10Speaker 1: material things first, temporal things first. They're not even giving
- 15:14Speaker 1: themselves a chance to breathe. Sometimes we gotta just breathe, man, rest.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I run, like I said, not physically as much as
- 15:23Speaker 1: I used to, but I run like I always have
- 15:26Speaker 1: my a day full. Sometimes my own body be telling me, listen,
- 15:30Speaker 1: if you don't stop relas, Amen, you're not gonna You're
- 15:35Speaker 1: not gonna be at your full potential. You're not gonna
- 15:37Speaker 1: be able to do exactly what you want to do
- 15:38Speaker 1: with excellence. And I know for me, I don't know
- 15:41Speaker 1: about you, but when I'm a little too hungry, amen,
- 15:45Speaker 1: or too angry, or too lonely or too tired, I
- 15:48Speaker 1: make decisions that are not the best decisions, amen. So
- 15:52Speaker 1: that's a warning sign. I'm hungry, I gotta go ahead
- 15:55Speaker 1: and eat. If I'm angry, I gotta go and calm
- 15:57Speaker 1: down right and seek the peace of God, which actually
- 16:02Speaker 1: we have the piece of God. Because if you have
- 16:04Speaker 1: peace with God. You have the peace of God when
- 16:07Speaker 1: you feel lonely. How can I feel lonely doing a
- 16:10Speaker 1: media ministry, having a wife and kids, and being a
- 16:13Speaker 1: part of a thriving church, and having brothers and sisters
- 16:17Speaker 1: and the Lord that are available through phone, having a family,
- 16:21Speaker 1: how could I be lonely? That's only when I get distracted.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That's only when I focus on worldly appetites, when I
- 16:28Speaker 1: focus on temporal things, and it seems like I'm all alone,
- 16:32Speaker 1: And then your mind and your flesh are saying, yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 1: you're all alone. You need to find something to do right.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Those idle moments are dangerous, dangerous moments, especially for people
- 16:43Speaker 1: who run like me.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Amen.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I have to stay focused on when I'm running, on
- 16:47Speaker 1: on why I'm running, Amen, and when I'm focusing my
- 16:50Speaker 1: attention on Amen, and being tired, being tired when you're tired.
- 16:58Speaker 1: As a cousin to simptation, because I heard testimony yesterday
- 17:03Speaker 1: at the Be Transformed Events a man. That happens the
- 17:08Speaker 1: second or third Tuesday of every month. I think next
- 17:10Speaker 1: month I'm on. From the time of this recording in June,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'll be on sharing my testimony.
- 17:16Speaker 2: If you want to come through. It's on a Tuesday.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I'll share some information about that on my socials and
- 17:22Speaker 1: on my website. But it's a great time a man
- 17:27Speaker 1: people sharing the stories about how God inexplicably changed and
- 17:32Speaker 1: transformed their lives from where they were.
- 17:34Speaker 2: And they shared a testimony. But what I heard the
- 17:37Speaker 2: brothers say, his name is Bert, and he said fear
- 17:45Speaker 2: right caused him to be in the flesh. It's amazing.
- 17:49Speaker 1: So when he got distracted, he was in a recovery,
- 17:52Speaker 1: a Christian recovery program from drugs and alcohol and all
- 17:55Speaker 1: that he was going through. And it's a year rest
- 17:59Speaker 1: of the ration process, right, and in the six months
- 18:04Speaker 1: he relapsed because he said he started to fear, and
- 18:08Speaker 1: fear really sparked up the flesh. I think that's interesting
- 18:14Speaker 1: when you lose sight of what's going on, when you
- 18:17Speaker 1: lose time for God.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Amen. And he was on fire. He was.
- 18:24Speaker 1: He knew Christ in his life, but he said that
- 18:26Speaker 1: he didn't surrender his life to Christ. In other words,
- 18:31Speaker 1: he didn't have time for that. When you don't have
- 18:33Speaker 1: time for God, when you say I don't have no
- 18:36Speaker 1: time for God, you're actually living on your own. You're
- 18:39Speaker 1: living in the flesh. You're living in a temporal mindset.
- 18:44Speaker 1: But once you have Christ and you're surrender to Christ
- 18:46Speaker 1: as Lord and savior, Savior and Lord, I should say
- 18:50Speaker 1: emphasis on the lord part, the lordship part, then you're
- 18:53Speaker 1: gonna have a lot of time on your hands in Christ.
- 18:56Speaker 1: For Christ, there's never a dull moment in the Kingdom
- 18:59Speaker 1: of God, never a shortage of things that pray for.
- 19:02Speaker 1: There's never a shortage of people to reach out to.
- 19:04Speaker 1: The Gospel is always relevant, the world is always true.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Amen.
- 19:08Speaker 1: God's promises are all reliable things in God that we serve.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Man. So when you're living.
- 19:17Speaker 1: As though the world is all there is, then the
- 19:21Speaker 1: results of that type of lifestyle, that type of mindset,
- 19:24Speaker 1: that's exactly what you're gonna get, the world system and
- 19:27Speaker 1: everything that it brings. You're not even regarding God's will.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So living as though this world is all there is
- 19:36Speaker 1: without regard for God's will, that's what Philippians chapter three,
- 19:40Speaker 1: verses eighteen and nineteen is really talking about those type
- 19:43Speaker 1: of people. And we have those people all around us.
- 19:46Speaker 1: That's why kindness is powerful. When you show kindness to people, Amen,
- 19:51Speaker 1: that goes a long way. Imagine just showing up and
- 19:55Speaker 1: just pointing at people's failures and pointing at people's sins.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I don't know how to conversation will help anybody. I
- 20:02Speaker 1: don't know if that kind of method will bring people
- 20:06Speaker 1: to the Messiah. I don't think so. Brother Frank, I
- 20:09Speaker 1: see you, God bless you as well. It's good to
- 20:11Speaker 1: see you on no morning to devote my brother and
- 20:13Speaker 1: my friend. So that's a worldly mindset. When you're saying
- 20:17Speaker 1: you don't have no time for God, you don't have
- 20:19Speaker 1: no time to surrender, you don't have no time for peace,
- 20:21Speaker 1: then then it means you don't have time for victory.
- 20:24Speaker 1: That means you don't have time for breakthrough. That means
- 20:26Speaker 1: you don't have time for the plans and purposes of
- 20:28Speaker 1: God in your life. That means you don't have time
- 20:30Speaker 1: you don't have time for Holy Spirit. That means you
- 20:33Speaker 1: don't have time for church. That means you don't have
- 20:35Speaker 1: time for love. That means you don't have time for grace.
- 20:37Speaker 1: That means you don't have time for mercy. That means
- 20:40Speaker 1: you don't have time for His word and abundant life.
- 20:44Speaker 1: No time for God, it means that you're on your
- 20:46Speaker 1: own and you're doing your own thing.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And guess what.
- 20:49Speaker 1: The love of God is so big right that he'll say, Okay,
- 20:53Speaker 1: if you don't want my will in your life, you're
- 20:55Speaker 1: disregarding the will of God, then go ahead and have
- 20:58Speaker 1: your own will us so much that he allows us
- 21:01Speaker 1: to make.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Choices, He doesn't force.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Can you imagine a guy who will force everybody to
- 21:07Speaker 1: serve him?
- 21:08Speaker 2: Will that be love? Or will that be like dictatorship?
- 21:13Speaker 1: I run things like Tony Montana's voice is coming through
- 21:17Speaker 1: my head?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Who put this together? Me? That's who is Tony Montana?
- 21:21Speaker 2: That scarface character.
- 21:23Speaker 1: He thought he was everything and at the end of
- 21:26Speaker 1: thinking that you're everything and that you're the god of
- 21:29Speaker 1: your own destiny. If you saw that movie, I don't
- 21:32Speaker 1: suggest watching him now as a born again believer, but
- 21:35Speaker 1: if you've seen that movie, at the end he got
- 21:39Speaker 1: what was coming to him. That kind of lifestyle of
- 21:44Speaker 1: fast woman, fast cars, fast money, godless things and the
- 21:49Speaker 1: way of life of living that way will only lead
- 21:51Speaker 1: to destruction, only lead to death. It's like a sin
- 21:57Speaker 1: which separates us from God becomes what we have time for.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Right, and people are living like that.
- 22:04Speaker 1: So me pointing at that, pointing, oh, you're a sinner,
- 22:07Speaker 1: you're gonna go to hell this that. The third, I
- 22:08Speaker 1: don't know how effective that would be as a ministry.
- 22:14Speaker 1: As a minister, Amen, I know kindness, though, goes way
- 22:18Speaker 1: further than that. Listening to somebody's story goes way further
- 22:21Speaker 1: than that. I don't have to quote scriptures when I'm
- 22:24Speaker 1: witnessing to somebody on the street who is in a
- 22:27Speaker 1: bad situation, I don't have to quote scriptures. I could
- 22:30Speaker 1: just show up and pray and allow Holy Spirit that
- 22:32Speaker 1: lives inside of me. And you can do the same thing,
- 22:34Speaker 1: allow Holy Spirit who lives inside of you to speak
- 22:37Speaker 1: what needs to be spoken to that individual, that life,
- 22:40Speaker 1: that soul, that person who's created, and the image of
- 22:45Speaker 1: God that's standing right in front of you. Amen, we
- 22:48Speaker 1: should have time for God as believers, and a lot
- 22:51Speaker 1: of people who say I don't have time for God,
- 22:53Speaker 1: I don't have time for this.
- 22:54Speaker 2: That.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And the third, they're actually kind of letting us know
- 22:58Speaker 1: that they're really lording over their own selves, that they're
- 23:01Speaker 1: the God of their own destiny, and they believe that.
- 23:05Speaker 2: So I don't agree with that. I have to respect
- 23:07Speaker 2: that people believe all kind of things.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Right, I can't jump up on these morning DeVos and
- 23:14Speaker 1: try to convince you that Jesus is God. I mean,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I can, but it's not even my position. Holy Spirit
- 23:20Speaker 1: God through his Word, through his people, through his Church,
- 23:22Speaker 1: through the Body of Christ, Amen, through ministries, through evangelists,
- 23:26Speaker 1: through prophets, through apostles, through pastors and teachers.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Holy Spirit works through people.
- 23:31Speaker 1: He works through circumstances, he works through creation, he works
- 23:34Speaker 1: through his word. He's the one that has the job
- 23:37Speaker 1: of convincing people of who Jesus is. He is the
- 23:41Speaker 1: one who convinces and convicts people of who God is.
- 23:46Speaker 2: The conviction of sin. You know, we don't realize that
- 23:49Speaker 2: we're sinning. I didn't realize I was sinning until God
- 23:54Speaker 2: told me I was a sinner, or God made me
- 23:57Speaker 2: realize that I was sinning.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I thought I was doing and everything good. Everybody else
- 24:01Speaker 1: was doing it right, So how could that be sinned?
- 24:04Speaker 1: It was just the way it was because I had
- 24:06Speaker 1: no time for God. And then thank you, Lord God
- 24:09Speaker 1: for your grace and your mercy and your patience over
- 24:12Speaker 1: my life and protecting me and getting me to where
- 24:14Speaker 1: I am now, because if it wasn't for him, Amen,
- 24:18Speaker 1: it would have been curtains for me. Because I was
- 24:19Speaker 1: living a lifestyle out of control. You know people like
- 24:23Speaker 1: that right now, And maybe you were one of those
- 24:25Speaker 1: people that was out of control and you were telling God,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I don't have time for you.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I don't have time for this.
- 24:30Speaker 1: All I got to do is keep on moving, make money,
- 24:32Speaker 1: get this, get that, keep it moving. Write that kind
- 24:35Speaker 1: of attitude. So I don't really judge people based upon that.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Amen. I try not to judge people at all.
- 24:45Speaker 1: But we have to use judgment and be wise, Amen,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and go to God and ask them why do people
- 24:51Speaker 1: still have this worldly mentality? I can't say I never
- 24:54Speaker 1: had it, but why are people still having it that
- 24:56Speaker 1: are around me, that know me, that are around you
- 24:59Speaker 1: and know you. Amen, that's a good question to ask.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Go to God's word. People are enticed by the world
- 25:05Speaker 1: more than they are invited to the presence of God
- 25:09Speaker 1: or even invited to get into a personal relationship with Jesus.
- 25:13Speaker 1: To Christ, So Philippians chapter three, read the whole chapter
- 25:16Speaker 1: for yourself. I'm out of time, Amen. Some people are
- 25:19Speaker 1: living like God is wasting their time on earth. Well,
- 25:22Speaker 1: we should be living as people, as people of God.
- 25:24Speaker 1: We should be inviting people and sharing our time with them. Amen,
- 25:28Speaker 1: So that way they can know that there is a true, living, holy, righteous, loving.
- 25:32Speaker 2: God, and his name is the Lord Jesus.
- 25:33Speaker 1: So God bless you all, God keep you all, and
- 25:36Speaker 1: remember always that God is good.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Peace.
