Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
August 21st, 2025. And well, apparently the
• 0:30
algorithm's just completely off. I mean, it looked good for a
• 0:33
while. I mean, it looked bad for the
• 0:34
beginning and then it started to look, you know, decent dish.
• 0:39
And then kind of late, it looked like it was going to even itself
• 0:43
out and have a chance and then just nothing terrible.
• 0:48
Crop the bed. So take the L not good.
• 0:54
And so we got to we got to try something else.
• 0:58
I'm going to have to rejigger that and figure out exactly
• 1:01
what's going on there. So all right, so tonight I'm
• 1:05
just going to go to baseball. I'm going to head out West.
• 1:08
We got Padres taking all the Giants.
• 1:11
They're in San Diego now. San Diego, that Petco Park, I
• 1:16
think it's still Petco, at least that's what it was 20 years ago
• 1:21
when I used to go there a lot. But it was known as a hitter's
• 1:26
  park or not a hitter's park, a pitcher's park.
• 1:28
And then they brought into the fence and improved the hitter's
• 1:32
eye. And now it's not as much as a of
• 1:35
a pitcher's park. And I'm looking at this total
• 1:39
sitting at 7 1/2. We got 2 fairly crappy pitchers,
• 1:44
really, let's be honest. They're just average pitchers.
• 1:46
They're not actually crappy. They're just not like great.
• 1:50
They're not good. They're like average, all right?
• 1:54
And so on average, they're going to give up some runs.
• 1:56
And if it's in at 7 1/2, probably both going to give up,
• 2:00
you know, two or three runs. And then the bullpens are going
• 2:03
to come in and each bullpen isn't great, especially the
• 2:07
Giants, and they're going to give up a run or two.
• 2:09
And then hopefully that gets us to 8.
• 2:12
So that's what we're hoping for. So we're going to take over 7
• 2:15
1/2 total runs between the Giants and Padres in tonight's
• 2:20
MLB baseball action. See anything better than that?
• 2:22
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:24
to it. Don't forget to rate review.
