- 0:54SPEAKER_00: I see you, I feel you, I love you, I am so loved.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: And for that, I'm eternally grateful, and I'm all yours.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Empty me, fill me, use me.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: I am but a vessel for your kingdom work, God.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: I'm here for it, all of it.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: The ups and downs, the highs and lows, and everything in between.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I'm here for it.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: I'm here for you.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: God bless.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: So it is.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: So it is.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Here we are.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: My name is Ashley Amber, host of Sunshine and Bubbles, and this high vibrational podcast where we cover a wide range of topics.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Some of my favorite things: Jesus, herbalism, nature, family, values, courage, strength, community.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Here for it all.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: I am your host.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: We are on season three, episode 10.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Following off a couple week hiatus that I just needed to rest and recharge my soul from my past episode in dealing with the loss of a dearest friend and co-worker, Emerald Tinge, whose funeral is tomorrow at the Krause Funeral Home in Milwaukee.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be tough.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: It is tough anytime going to a funeral because it means you have to show up and be compassionate and empathetic and confront the grief head on.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: But what is wonderful is that we will have community to lean on, to share with.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And that is so comforting to know that we're not alone in this grief.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: We're not alone in the darkness.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: We're never alone.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: We know that with our dear Lord and Savior inside us, with his Holy Spirit, that has been the gift with salvation.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: But with all of this, I've just been reminded over and over again to keep on going, keep on believing, keep on comforting, keep on counseling, keep on with the conviction that we are all just students of life here.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And sometimes we're gonna mess it up and make stupid decisions and do dumb things, and that's gonna cost us more than what we might think.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: But with his grace and his mercy, we can get back up and live to see another day.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: With his grace and with his mercy.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: But boy, when it is your time.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: It is your time, and it is all going according to that beautiful, wonderful, and gracious plan.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: That when we're we're right up there, we can't see it.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: But I have so much faith and so much hope that everything is going according to plan.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: And dealing with the grief and the wave of emotions that come with losing a family member, a loved one, a friend, a little sister.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: I've just been reminded that angels are everywhere.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Gosh, everywhere, from neighbors that have taken time to express their heartfelt sorrow and condolences to other fellow coworkers that are grieving right alongside you, asking all the same questions that you are in your head, to your loved one that holds your hand at night and reassures you that this too shall pass.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Or even angels showing up in nature.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I feel like my sister, sister-in-law, Rachel, let me witness with her a butterfly release.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: And we named one of those precious butterflies Emerald and was able to witness the butterfly, her beautiful and all of her majestic beauty, flap her wings and fly away.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: And who knows?
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe that was her going on on a path, on her own route.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Spirit is strong with us, and I feel like it could be represented in a bunch of things, and I feel like that's comforting to know that not only do we have the Holy Spirit in us, but also her spirit is wherever we where we speak life into.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, our spirit will live on.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: It's just picking up all of the pieces.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm over here, you know, thinking of how rough it's been, you know, both internally and the questions that I have in my head that will never be answered to their full capacity of what actually happened on that tragic incident to make that bike crash or make what made the bike jump over.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: We'll never know.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: We'll never know.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: But also externally too, and and holding space for other people.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: I feel like at Cheryl's Club, it's been it's been it's been difficult.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: It's been a challenge.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: It's been difficult having to be on the front line, so to speak, and and be that open ear and that open heart and listen.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: A lot of listening, a lot of listening, because I feel like people just have something on their chest.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times that just want to be heard.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: And so holding that space to be that shoulder, to, to listen, or be that that vessel that that laughs with that person about the good memories, about the good times, and encourages them that we get to live to see another day.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I just can't imagine, you know, what her family is going through.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Her mom and dad, her sister, her daughter.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: She left behind a three-year-old daughter.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Just the questions there of like, how do you even begin to explain to a little girl?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Will she remember her?
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: What is he preparing her for?
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: But what we do know is that all we have is right now.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Alls we have is today.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: All as we have is this very moment.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: And I eternally grateful to be here to be able to talk about it.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Because we to do these things.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: We don't have to, we get to.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: And I think of the future of Sam.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I w Sammy, her daughter, I was listening on the radio today, and or was it yesterday, K-Love, 93.3.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: And they were talking about the story of David and Goliath.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: And you know, David was promised the throne.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: He was, it was prophesized that he would be the king, he would reign.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: But it just didn't, it wasn't handed to him.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: He didn't, Jesus or God didn't say, Here's the here's the keys, David, you're go for it, have at it.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: No, God gave him Goliath.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: God gave him Goliath and and the faith and hope and love in his heart, his pure heart to know what he had to do.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: So there is going to be some mountains to climb, some challenges that come in our way.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: There, and you're gonna not that you have to earn it, but you have to prepare yourself.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Your faith will be shaken, right?
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Like your faith will be shaken.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: We don't, we don't know what that looks like, but it's with that faith and trust in your heart that you will be victorious.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: And that's what God's promise is to you and to I.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: That with his Holy Spirit and the Father and the Son, we will reign supreme.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: We are all royalty and sent here on a divine mission to spread that love, to go out and be in the world, the lighthouse that he has called us to be.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: Even in these dark times, that's when it matters most, right?
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Like when the going gets tough, that's when the tough gets going.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: You can't just sit back and crawl in a hole, right?
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Like, no, we gotta keep on going.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: Even in these hard times, even in the sadness, even in the questions and uncertainty, find the courage, perseverance, and tenacity to just keep showing up step by step, day by day.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: If not for you or for your community, but for him, because that is the divine purpose.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: That's how we're being called to live.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And I've been having a couple tools, a couple allies that have really been helping me along the way in these last couple of weeks.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: And I'm so thankful and grateful for them.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Number one is worship.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: To have uplifting songs that just pop in my head because I know them, because I listen to them, because, you know, I've I I have them ingrained.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: It's been a wonderful tool in my back pocket.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Like I have songs.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, I got a binder of songs since I've been on the worship team and I fill myself with these positive Christian music.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, I had worship practice yesterday, and we had some humdinger lineup of some songs.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Do you want to hear them?
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: They're pretty good.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: The one is The Trading My Sorrows by Daryl Evans.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: Have you guys heard of that one?
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: It's a good one.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it's from 1998.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Integrity's Hosanna music.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So it's an oldie, but a goody, and I feel like it needs to be brought back every now and then.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And it is I'm trading my sorrows, I'm trading my shame, I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: I'm trading my sickness, I'm trading my pain, I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord, and we say, Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, amen.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: I impressed but not crushed, persecuted, not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: I am blessed beyond the curse, for his promise will endure, for his joy's gonna be my strength.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: Through the sorrow may last for the night, but his joy comes in the morning.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Such a good promise.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: It's so joyful, that's so hopeful.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: And really, like when I start, you know, getting caught up in my thoughts and my mind starts racing, and I'm and's asking all the questions and and even trying to just, you know, chalk myself into coming out with the confidence and remembering who I am born to be.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: This is the the yes Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: It's just that positive mantra that like gets webbed into my brain, and I'm like, yes, Lord, onward.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: So here's another really good worship song that we'll be singing on Sunday.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Good God Almighty by Crowder.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Mmm, I can't count the times I've called your name some broken night, and you showed up and patched me up like you do every time.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: I get amnesia, I forget that you keep coming around.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there ain't no way you'll ever let me down, down, down, good God almighty.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: I hope you'll find me praising your name no matter what comes, cause I know where I'd be without your mercy.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: So I'll keep praising your name at the top of my lungs.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Tell me is he good?
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: He's good tell me is he God?
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: He's God, he is good, God Almighty.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Woo! Praise him in the morning, praise him in the noontime, praise him when the sun goes down, love him in the morning, love him in the noontime, love him when the sun goes down.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: So good.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: How about this one where I need a little reminder of like how far we've come on this journey?
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Jesus, you're the lover of my soul.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: I will never let you go.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: You've taken me from the Myri clay, which is like soft, you know, moldable clay.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: You've set my feet upon the rock, and now I know I love you, I need you, and though my world may fall, I'll never let you go.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: My savior, my closest friend, I will worship you until the very end.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Now imagine having this song in your head as you're going through grief, as you're going through darkness, as you have your unanswered questions.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: You could just come right back to the song and have the beat in your head and sing it, and you're instantly gonna feel better, right?
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: You're gonna pick yourself up by your bootstraps and keep on walking.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: And that's what we're called to do.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Jesus, you're the lover of my soul.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Jesus, I will never let you go.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: You've taken me from my reclaim.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: You set my feet upon the rock, and now I know I love you.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: I need you, and though my world may fall, I'll never let you go.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: My savior, my closest friend, I will worship you until the very end.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: That's so good.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: And P.S.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: By the way, we are looking for people to join our worship team.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: We have spots at the altar for you.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: So we'd love for you to join us.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Bring the gifts, bring what little gifts you have and bring them and leave them at the foot of the cross.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: I know I'm not the best singer, okay?
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: I don't come from a musical background.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: I was in chorus, you know, 20 years ago in high school.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Okay, I understand.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: I'm not sitting here being like, me and my voice and my beauty and majesty.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: Like, no, it is his.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: It is his, and I just answered the calling, right?
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: I just answered the calling.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: When the worship team asked me to join, I said yes, because I will take this little gift of a voice, which we all have, by the way.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: We all have it, and your voice is beautiful, and I don't care what anyone has told you in your past about your voice.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Like, sing.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: This is a way, this is a weapon, this is a tool, this is something that's gonna help defeat the darkness that is trying to creep inside you, is using your voice and speaking this positivity and goodness into existence.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: When you're singing these worship songs, no matter what your voice sounds like, look get out of your own head because it's not about you.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: If you haven't caught my drift by now, like it is not about you, it is not about me, it about is about him and furthering his kingdom work, and that is spreading the good news of his love.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Because this we live in a cold, dark place, if that's where our mind chooses us, because the devil will try to creep in.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: But we need to be the light bearers, the people that can help.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: And taking these little gifts that we all have and using the Holy Spirit that's inside us, we can move mountains.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: It is already prophesied, it is already written.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: Just open up that Bible.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: It is full of the good news and the prophecy that is for us.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: He is for us and he is good, and he will never leave you.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: And I think this worship team has just been like the wonderful tool to help me get through.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: He knew what I needed before I even knew I needed it.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: And maybe even by me singing out here, like just how my voice is, and you know, just letting it rip.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: That's like encouraging other people.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Like, hey, if she she can get out there and sing, like, I can too.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: And yes, you can join us, join us.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: It feels so, so good.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: And then this enough.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: This is the like, listen to this first verse, right?
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: I am not what I make, I am who you've made me to be.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Like, doesn't matter what I create, it's just it is what it's matter what he creates, right?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I am not what I've done.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, look at me, I've done so much.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: I am loved unconditionally.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: I am not love, loved by the measure of love that I bring.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: No, it doesn't even matter, but it does help.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: I am not who I know.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: I am known by the king of all kings.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Mmm.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Jesus, you are enough for me.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: With nothing, I still have everything.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: Jesus, you are enough for me.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Woo! Amen.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: I love this.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: This is a really, really good song, and that is by Tom Eschel.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: And that is another one.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Uh what's the year on this?
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: Well, it doesn't say, but I think this is another oldie but a good goody, you know.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: In you I am created, in you I am sustained, with you I'm resurrected, born again.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: You overcame the grave.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: With you I stand in victory, just like David when he defeated Goliath.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Now what else could I need?
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Nothing, he's all you need.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: With you I want for nothing.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: Jesus might everything.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Jesus, you are enough.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: Jesus, you are enough for me.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: With nothing, I still have everything.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Jesus, you are enough for me.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: You and then is Washed is also another really good humdanger.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: We're also singing this this Sunday on the worship team where we're supposed to sing as a united body.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: You know, it's and it's not just me on the stage singing, like we're encouraging the congregation to sing with us because we have the power when when two or more people gather together, the Holy Spirit is there, uh, the Father is with us in the room.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And that is when we can elevate and raise consciousness and awareness together.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: But if you ever are feeling too dirty, too broken, you're too far gone.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: The good news is you're not, and you never will be.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: It's not dependent on what you do or what you've said or what you've done.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: It's about the promise of salvation written in the oldest book known to man here in the Bible that has been breathed out by God Himself.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: You have been washed in the water, washed in the blood.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: I'm as good as new, hallelujah, every single day, good as new, by the dawn of a new day.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: All because of you.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: Cause you took away my shame and you nailed it to the cross.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: You got me running out the grave here I come.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Ooh, I'm clean and it's not what I have done.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: But what you've done for me You paid it all up tree.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah, I'm clean.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: Your love has overcome.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: Your mercy is supreme.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: I'm dancing in your victory.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: Whew that's another good.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: That's another really, really good one.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: So it's not about my voice.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: It's not about how loud I sing or how great I can, my confidence to stand up in front of people.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: I just let that all go out the window because I just said, yes, Lord, yes, Lord.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Can I get an amen out there?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Give me some hearts, give me some love, give me all that special encouragement.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: It means the world.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Not that I need it because I'm just out here trying to use my use my little gifts.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: And I feel like my calling, what has been put on my heart, is to use my voice, is to share.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, my goodness, I'm a Leo.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: So it's like hear me roar.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Like I feel like my star chart from the time I was born has been written to like to, you know, use the sunshin and confidence and put that out there.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: But, you know, also I have a degree in communication, right?
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: That's what I have a bachelor's degree and and a master's in herbalism.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: So I feel like if you put those pieces together, like use your voice for good and talk about his gifts that he bestows upon us so generously.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: And that is such a wonderful segue into this little Diddy right here.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: Ooh, look at her.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: She is just so beautiful.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: It is, for those of you that don't know, you can find it everywhere, any ditch, any field.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: It is in full bloom right now, here all over the country of the United States.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: And this is called Golden.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Rod.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Mmm, what a golden rod.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: It just kind of reminds me of like the good shepherd and his rod, right?
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Or his staff that he uses to guide people, counsel, and comfort.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: And I feel like that this is what this plant medicine can do for me and you.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: I can use it and so can you.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: It's so accessible, right?
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Like, and look, I mean, you can see it, not to be confused with ragweed that causes people a lot of allergies.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: That one isn't so medicinal, but it's like like cures like.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: So this can cure what ragweed does.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: And it's just these beautiful, tiny little branches here, full of these vibrant, beautiful yellow blooms.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: And I feel like talking about the doctrine of signatures with this golden rod, like the first thing, what's the first thing you notice about it?
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Like it's yellow.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: It's color, right?
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Like, and when you think of the color yellow, what are some first thoughts that jump into your head?
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: You know, happiness, vibrant, sunshine, golden.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: You know, you just you just feel like happy even looking at something yellow.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: And you think of the sun and you think of how healing the sun is and being outside in nature.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: Imagine like using one of her, you know, his gifts, one of her mother nature's gifts.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Like, I just love it.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: So I feel like it's telling you that this by consuming or using or utilizing this herb in any capacity will make you happy.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: And yes, yes, it does.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: It actually increases your vitality and your confidence, right?
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: And it is like a restorative herb, we'll say it'll help restore your energy, just like it you sitting out in the stunt sun actually like fills you up.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Like this, this herb has that capacity to do it too.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: And if you know anything about the chakras, you might know that the yellow chakra, the yellow energy center, the madre pura is the solar plexus.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: I could have been saying that wrong.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: Madre pura.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Anywho, it is the solar plexus.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: So the solar plexus is actually right here on your tummy.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: And that is your I am energy center.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: So these are the I am affirmations that we're gonna use when we're talking about the goldenrod.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: So as I am drinking my delicious tea, Goldenrod makes such a wonderful tasting tea.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: I just love it.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: And such a vibrant, bright yellow tea that it makes as well.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna just take a little sip, excuse me.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: We're gonna say, I am confident, I am whole, I am brave, I am bold, I am beautiful, I am bodacious, I am a child of light, I am royalty, I am enthusiastic, I am energetic, I am excited, I am all that my God has called me to be.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Positive affirmations, they really work.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: So the solar plexus being the I am energy center.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: It's a really good time to kind of repeat these positive, you know, affirmations in your head and speak them out loud into existence, and you will believe it.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: And if you believe it, you can achieve it.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: And that's a beautiful thing.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: Side side note, look at this beautiful golden yellow honey that is from my hive or the the God's hive in the back, because you've gave me such a grateful opportunity that's infused with the master healer plant herself.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: We infused it with hemp that was sun-grown organic, organically grown on our farm.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: And I used about a half a tablespoon because it's super concentrated, as a ton of the plant medicine of hemp in here, and I paired that with the Sol Diego, solidago, which is the golden rod, the Latin term, to sweeten it up.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: And now I get all my cannabinoid goodness and some vitality in a cup, and bam, I am smiling and I'm working through that grief, utilizing the joy of the Lord that is so graciously bestowed on me day in and day out.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Thank you, cheat, dear, dear ones, for giving me the know-how to be able to how to use this and share it with y'all.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: Love you.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: All right, so that was my shameless plug for my hemp honey.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: I put this in all of my teas.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: It is a one, it's not your average sweetener.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: Like this self is chalk full of the medicine.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: And what a great way to use the medicine than use honey, which is like Earth's purest food, right?
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Like, and it never goes bad, it never spoils.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: It's just so versatile in how you can use it.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: It's so many different applications.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm using that with in the tea.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And use the tea.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: I feel like the tea is the easiest way.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: I love fresh tea, especially if I can get my hand on any fresh herbs.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: We know that the earth always provides, so I always like to use seasonal herbs, but you know, here in the winter in Wisconsin, that's where we would dry the herbs and then use it in the winter because this isn't this goodness isn't always available to us then.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: But the fresh flowers of the goldenrod with boiling water poured over the top or this steeped in for 10 or so minutes will turn this beautiful golden yellow color and sip and enjoy.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: And it's it's just a wonderful way to get the constituents all the medicinal properties of this beautiful plant.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: And that goes for any herb.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: You know, any green leafy herb, we are gonna make that infusion where we're boiling the water, pouring the boiling water over the herb.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: And you would make a decoction when you're dealing with roots.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And there are some plants that most of the medicinal properties are in the root.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: So that's when we would boil the root in with the water so it can kind of loosen and break everything up with that boiling water.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: Anyway, side note okay, how to make T101.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: I also have a one or so.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: I also have this wonderful tincture here that I will be straining in about six to eight weeks or maybe even a year.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: It's not gonna go bad.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: It is preserved in the hundred-proof alcohol here, Everclear.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: And this will also pull out the wonderful constituents or the medicinal properties of Goldenrod.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: And I will put that in a dropper full that I can add to right under my tongue is kind of the best way that it'll get absorbed really good.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: Or if I want to mask the taste, I could put it in my juice, smoothies, diluted in water, you name it, very versatile.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Again, way to capture the essence of this plant, make it into a tincture.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: And, you know, back in the day, and even now, herbalists will really love to use goldenrod in their topicals as well.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: So infusing a carrier oil like olive oil, put it in a windowsill and let them let the sun do its magic and infuse that oil and put that in a topical with some beeswax.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it has anti-inflammatory properties, so it can really help with you know skin issues.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: It's very soothing and restoring.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people will include this into their topicals since it is so abundant and and given so graciously to us out there in the wild.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: I love it, need it, gotta have it.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: And what else we got here?
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: I want to also mention, you know, you think of the color yellow, and of course, we have all the sunshiny, bright, you know, happy thoughts, but also our urine, our pea is yellow, isn't it?
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Isn't that kind of funny that you see how God has a sense of humor?
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: See how his doctrine and signature works?
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: This also helps with your whole urinary tract, right?
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: From you know, your bladder and a kidney cleanser, it'll kind of prevent kidney stones.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: So everything with your urinary tract, which is located in where your solar plexus is.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: You see where I'm going?
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: This is all connected.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: It's all connected, but it helps with you know your urinary tract too, and anything, everything to do with your excretion.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: And funny, funny enough, it has a light, very like floral, lovely scent to it.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: It helps with allergies and sniffle defense.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: It's anti-inflammatory, it has um some natural tannins in there and helps with any allergies that are airborne, especially right now in the fall.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: So I just think it's wonderful that it's so bountiful and plentiful everywhere you go outside.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: So get out there and get you some and have a relationship with it.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: Introduce yourself.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, these plants have energy, they're chalked full of God's goodness because he is that gracious and that wonderful.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: And everything is going according to his perfect divine plan.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: And this is just a testimony to that goodness that and an urge from here, I'm consider me like one of those angels that are coming out and being like, like empower yourself and utilize.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: It's a mystery, unravel it.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: I think sometimes you can get in our heads of being like, oh, it's too much, and I don't know.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: And you know, like any relationship has got to start somewhere.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: Now you know the name, right?
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: This is goldenrog, goldenrod, solidago, and which means, oh, another juicy little tidbit, solidago literally means, like the Latin term means to make whole or to heal.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Isn't that wild?
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: Like this plant literally has the energy and has been named to make whole, to heal, and given by the master healer himself, God.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Like I love it, I love it.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: It's just wild to think that, you know, to help restore your energy, support your solar plexus and your vitality, give you the confidence, the self-esteem, aid in digestion, increase your personal fire, strike up your inner fire and kind of get that that going to make you happy.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: How wonderful it is to be loved by him.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: In a time of grief that I've been personally experiencing with the loss of Emerald, in a time where I could use a pick-me-up.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: And I honestly I've had some friends, you know, and close ones, even people that don't really know me, you know, from seeing them at Cheryl's club.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: They're like, Ashley, you seem sad.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Like, you seem down, you're not yourself, you're not, you're not as peppy or vibrant or bubbly as you normally are.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no, I'm not.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: I don't feel honestly, I'm working through some things right now.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: Remember Emerald?
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: It just happened three short weeks ago.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: And her funeral's this Friday.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: And her car show is on Monday, in which we raised to hope a ton of money for her sweet daughter, Sammy, set her up for success out there in the world because we look we know that nothing's cheap.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: And and money is just like the smallest little offering that we could give and try to, you know, give to this family in this time of of tragic loss.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: And it's just like here, anything to help, right?
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: It's the it's the least little bit of energy exchange that we could do.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: But how wonderful that we have this plant ally that can help us go through this grief and kind of restore that inner fire and and get back on the mission.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: And it is honestly, I owe it to this sweet little plant, Goldenrod.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: Like me getting on here today.
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: Honestly, like there's like the devil tries to talk me out of it every week.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: He's like, no, you're not ready.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: Like, you're not allowed to be happy.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: You can't, you can't, you, you can't go on there.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Who are you?
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Like, what?
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: And thinking I have to be like some type of way.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: And it's like, no, I'm gonna be exactly who I am in this given moment, this day, because it's not about me.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: It is about spreading the good word, counseling and comforting.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: And I even went to double church to kind of like raise up my vibe and the energy so I can keep on the mission of spreading the good news.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: And it was through Kettlebrook Church that was has a whole thing on the Holy Spirit.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: And it was like, you can counsel, you can comfort, you you don't need a special handbook, you don't need any like certain permission to be able to do this.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: Like, you have the Holy Spirit inside of you.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: Now get up, start that inner fire and get out there and tell spread the good news.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly what made me show up here today.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: And it was the help of my sweet little plant ally that that helped heal me.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: And I'm still healing, right?
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Like grief is a funny thing, it comes in waves, it comes, it comes and goes.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: And it, you know, it's it you have the moments where you need do need to go within before we can show up to to share outward.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: But and that's okay.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: And and everyone has the permission to grieve how they need to, and just keep showing up and know and and be convicted to know that this too shall pass, right?
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: And it is the person and the work of the Holy Spirit, and we depend on our on you.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: We depend on our good Lord to get through this, and that has been such a wonderful mantra for me through the worship, through the herbs, through the comforting words of the community.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: We are so graciously able to keep showing up in whatever capacity, however that looks like, and it's gonna be different for each one of us.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: And amen to that.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: How can I get a hallelujah?
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah, even here.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: I'm still on that.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: It's just such a wonderful thing, a reminder that we can really try to outdo each other in love.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: We can.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: It's a mindset, it's a mentality, it's a promise, it's a gift.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: And oh, how he loves me.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: The Holy Spirit loves you, the Holy Spirit loves me.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: That's such a wonderful message, and it's it's you know, it speaks through the Bible, the church, the circumstances, and through nature.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: It turned from dreams and visions, and it's tested through scripture.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: All we have to do is look it up in the good book, and that's one more thing that I'm gonna share on here because sharing is caring, okay, and is and we're putting the good word to work, that I, as I'm reading the Bible, I am in the book of Thaloshalonians, Thess Thessalonians, Thessalonians committed.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Thessalonians.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: It has is chalked full of wonderful nuggets, but this was the passage that I read today, and and I I just I feel so called to share it with you.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: It's really good.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: Thessalonians 5, 14.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: All right, and so I believe, I believe that this is written by Paul, and this is really talking about Christ's return, honoring him and representing him well in your everyday life.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: Even when we suffer persecution, do with courage and steadfast faith.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: Faith.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: We have we earnestly, oh Thessalonians 5, 14 through 18.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Wait, no, 20.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go nine fourteen through twenty.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: Look how short this is.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: All right, so we earnestly urge you, believers, admonish those who are out of line, the undisciplined, the unruly, the disorderly, encourage the timid who lack the spiritual courage.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Help the spiritually weak, be very patient with everyone.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Ooh, that is tested.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: The patience.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: I'm still learning it.
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: But I'm getting there.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why God gave me children for one of the reasons.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: Anywho, be patient with everyone, always controlling your temper.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Not today, devil.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: See that no one repays another with evil for evil.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: You can't fight evil with evil.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: You have to be the light.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: And sometimes that means walking away.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: Or praying for that person.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna pray for you.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: Okay, but always seek that which is good for one another and for all people.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: Like even for people that don't deserve it.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: Like none of us deserve it.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: None of us deserve this grace and this mercy.
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: But that's when we can flip the mindset.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: It's a choice.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: Pray for that person, wish them well.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: Because it's not, it's not about what you think.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: It don't be that person who spreads that energy, that negativity, because then we let the devil win.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: And we're going not today.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: We're going not today, devil.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: Rejoice always and delight in your faith.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: Rejoice always and delight in your faith.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Be unceasing, never stopping, and persistent in prayer.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: Unceasing and persistent in prayer.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: So when you when you feel, you know, that darkness creeping or that uncertainty or that low self-esteem, just pray about it.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: Give it to God, give it to the cross, because that is not you.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: That is not who you were called to be.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: That is the external environment environment.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: That is your ego talking.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: And we don't let we don't listen to the ego that has got no power over this vessel.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: I know where my power comes from.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: Praise God.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: And in every situation, no matter what the circumstances, all right, even though we experience tragic loss from our loved ones, be thankful and continually give thanks to God.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: For this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: This is his will.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: This is what you are called to do.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: This is how I'm called to be.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: Can't hide in my bed and cry and want to crawl in a hole and not keep showing up and harvesting this abundance so I could share.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: You know, I can't get off my course.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: I can't stay off my path.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: We ain't got time for that.
- 39:25SPEAKER_00: If anything for from what we can learn from Emerald's passing is that life is short.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: It is very fleeting.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: Here today, gone tomorrow.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: And we are called for more.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: We are called to do better, do more, be more, care more.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: All in his name.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: All of his name is Jesus.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: And you can't, you can't, no negativity can touch this.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: All right, but I have to continue to remind myself there to keep showing up and be there for other people and be that lighthouse in the darkness.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: Because the devil be trying to throw us off course all day or night.
- 39:58SPEAKER_00: That's why we have these tools that can help us when we get off that degree off course.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: Do not quench, subdue, or be responsive to the working and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: Do not scorn or reject gifts of prophecy or prophecy, spoken revelations, words of instruction or extortion, but test all things carefully so you can recognize what is good.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Hold firmly to that which is good.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: Hold firmly to that which is good.
- 40:27SPEAKER_00: Hold firmly to that which is good.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: Amiss the tragedy.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: How can we tra transmute this tragedy into triumphs?
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: I think there's some lessons to be learned here of what happened that night at Cheryl's Club.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: If one person would have been bold to speak out, hey, I don't think that's a good idea.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: Stop.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: No, not today, devil.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: Gonna look out for one another.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: Love thy neighbor more than you love yourself.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: And honestly, that's what alcohol can do.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: It numbs you, it distorts the truth, it it distorts reality.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: It doesn't make you be your most true and authentic self, something that's masking something.
- 41:07SPEAKER_00: It's a mask.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: So I feel like it's literally poison for your body, right?
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: Like literally your body does not recognize a substance and any other thing that we would let's say we used an herb and it caused us to slur our speech and lose consciousness, and you, you know, you could feel this hangover for days.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: Like, would you use that herb again?
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: No, you wouldn't.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: You would probably like have a lawsuit about whoever sold it to you.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: So, like, in what twisted reality did we let this alcohol become part of our culture, like it is here in Wisconsin?
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: I just, I'm scratching my head, but the fog has lifted.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: I've been sober now for three years, pat on my back, like, just kidding, that's not what I'm looking for.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: But honestly, it's been tough and it's been choosing different.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: You know, there are so many different ways of, ah, come on, just have one, join us in the celebration.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: Like, no, that's okay.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: You, I know every, you have to meet, meet everyone where they're at, but I'll I don't miss it at all.
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: I don't miss anything about it.
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: Not a single part of me is like, oh, I should have a drink.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: For what?
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't feel like poisoning my body.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: I'd rather work with other plants and mushrooms that work with my body, that are helping me to live my best life, that are improving my quality of life, right?
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: That I can shine my light the brightest, where I can show up for my family, my children, my loved ones, where I can break generational curses, where I can rebuke the devil and any negativity associated with a cleared, sober mind, and I can remember it the next day.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: What?
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: Now, there was a point in my life where, you know, I was prowling around.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: I think, like I said, I've even was dubbed the Duchess of debauchery.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: I'm not over here claiming to be no saint, but I do know that I am forgiven and I'm chosen and we're gonna move on.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: And I'm here today.
- 42:55SPEAKER_00: And I want to encourage you to make good choices for yourself and your loved ones and have honest, real conversations with those that you're seeing the destruction happen.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: I'm just feel like coming from a place of love, of like, and counsel, like, hey, you are so loved and you are so cared, and there's more out there.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: Join me.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: Come on, let's have a cup of tea together instead.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: Let's go for a walk.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Do you want to draw?
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: Color?
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: Paint?
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: Create.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: I think creating is a great way when you kind of get in those places of like, sometimes I feel like we drink alcohol out of boredom.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: We're like, oh, it's just what that's what we do around here.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: Drink.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: Like find a hobby, find something to do in that moment of weakness.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: Because that's where the devil is trying to like creep in, is in that moment of weakness where, you know, we're creatures of habit.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: We're just going to what we know, like, and say, no.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: Hey, I'm going to read this book now.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: Read that book.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: Read that book.
- 43:47SPEAKER_00: Speaking of books, oh my gosh, I know this is a little off topic, and I'm thinking I'm very well known for just being like, hey, but I'm in the moment.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: And I read Theo of Golden.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: Who out there has heard of this book?
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: Theo of Golden.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Apparently, it's like sold out.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: It's got holds on all the libraries.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: There's like people trying to get their hands on this book.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: Well, a lady from church fired it to me and it just stumbled across my lap.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: It was a 400-page book.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: I read it in five days.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: I stay, I burned the midnight oil.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: I couldn't, I just couldn't put it down, really.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: You know, before work, after work, not during work.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: No, I didn't read it during work.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: If I could, I would have, but I didn't.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: I read it and it is it is dubbed as Christian fiction.
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: So I loved the idea of Theo of Golden.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: It was about a selfless man who just gave and gave and gave, and he listened and listened and listened and just lived a very selfless life.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: And now as I go around, I'm like, I want to be more like Theo.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: Reminding myself, like, be more like Theo.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: Love like Jesus.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: He loved like Jesus.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: He was an old man.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: It took him a while to get there to that point.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: I'm sure he didn't always love like that.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: But in his year, in his end years, he did.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: And that's what he'll be remembered for.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: Theo of Golden, if you're looking for a really good read, check that out.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: And that also brought up another point that I thought of and I I want to share with you is that you are what you fill yourself with, right?
- 45:11SPEAKER_00: Like you, you are what you eat, right?
- 45:13SPEAKER_00: Like if you eat like crap, you're gonna you gonna feel like crap, probably gonna look like crap.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: I don't want to say that, but you're gonna feel like crap, okay?
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: Choices, choices.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: If you drink poison, you're probably gonna feel like poison.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: You're gonna be toxic, right?
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: Being a little extreme there, but just putting it out there.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: If you listen to what is it, secular?
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know if it's non-secular or secular, forgive me.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: I know you guys know the answer to this, but I think if you listen to secular music, you know, offensive, negative music, guess what your thoughts are going to be, right?
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: If you read books about murder and mystery and gossip and lies and backstabbing, like guess what you're putting into your universe, that energy that you're putting into your universe.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: What are if you hang around people that tell lies and rumors and gossip and you know, maybe small-minded people, guess what your thoughts are gonna be?
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: You know, birds of a feather flock together.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: Kakao, hark! No, just okay.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: So just going to my point, like, just be very vigilant on who you're choosing to surround yourself with, what you're choosing to do in your free time, you know, things that aren't helping you live your highest and best and say no.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: And say no, make that choice of like not today, just for today.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: That's like the Reiki mantra.
- 46:32SPEAKER_00: Just for today, I'll not be angry.
- 46:34SPEAKER_00: Just for today, I will choose love.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: Just today, I'll be kind to all living things.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: Like, just for today.
- 46:38SPEAKER_00: We're not asking you to make like a 10-year commitment, like, oh, I'm not listening to that music for the rest of my life.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: No, mm-mm, not no.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: That's not you're gonna set yourself up for failure if that's what you want to commit to, like just for today.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: Make those good choices for yourself so you can make ripples, waves, tsunamis of good vibes for the kingdom.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: Do it for the kingdom.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: We got a lot of work to do.
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: And it starts like right in here.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 47:06SPEAKER_00: It's only a prayer away.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Get connected with that Holy Spirit.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: As soon as you accept that gift of salvation, and why wouldn't you?
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: Like at this point, I'm really like scratching my head of like, okay, like if I had the cure to cancer and I told you about it, and you didn't accept it.
- 47:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know what to tell you.
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: Like, why?
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: Why wouldn't you accept it?
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: Because your heart is that hardened?
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Because your trust is broken?
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: Like, what is it?
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: And I feel like that, like looking within and like calling upon his help, all you have to do is ask and he will give it to you graciously and generously.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: I feel like I sound like a broken record, but like honestly, like at this point, like I feel like God is good and he is good all the time, and he's got some really good reading material here.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: There's audible books, even if you're not a reader.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: Good news is you don't have to read the Bible.
- 47:58SPEAKER_00: If you are not a reader, you don't have to read it.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: You can listen to it and commit to like, just for today, I'm gonna listen to two minutes of the Bible and watch him work.
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: Watch him work, watch him spill out his goodness, watch him have that strange coincidence that nobody can explain.
- 48:18SPEAKER_00: The only thing that you can attribute to is God, and he that's how he works, living in awe and wonder.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: And it is such a liberating, free way to live.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: And why not?
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: Like just say yes.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, amen.
- 48:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, today is the day where we can break the chains.
- 48:41SPEAKER_00: Today is the day where we can find something wonderful to focus on.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: Today is the day you can make that phone call.
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: Today is the day you can write that down.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: Today is the day because today is all we have, friends.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: All right, because tomorrow is not guaranteed.
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: So tell that person that you love them.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: Give that person that gift that that was had that little voice.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: Start up that LLC.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Do that thing that's gonna start your inner fire.
- 49:10SPEAKER_00: Because why not?
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: You are pro you are royalty, you are promised a seat at the throne.
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: Nothing else matters except for that lovely soul song inside of you.
- 49:20SPEAKER_00: And it needs to come out.
- 49:21SPEAKER_00: It is one thing, also, is another thing.
- 49:23SPEAKER_00: You could sit in prayer and meditation all you want, but that action is what's gonna set forth the fire.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: And we're called to start fires, baby.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: Pr, prr, prr, fires, fire on the mouth.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: That's what I hope to start here, anyways, the Sunshine and Bubbles.
- 49:37SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for listening.
- 49:39SPEAKER_00: I feel like this has really helped me.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: Even to be able to speak these positive this this this into existence and and share it brought it to a whole nother level.
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: And I've rejuvenated my inner fire.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: I have more confidence, and I'm ready for that funeral tomorrow because I'm gonna be the light bearer.
- 49:56SPEAKER_00: And it's not gonna actually, I'm not gonna be the light bearer.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be the walking-talking hands, his hands, and his feet.
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking of what little gifts I could bring to that altar, what little gifts I can share with those grieving, hurting people.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: And maybe that's just an ear, maybe that's just some encouragement, maybe that's just some comfort, some counseling, maybe that's a passage to share out of the Bible.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: Bring people back to the Bible.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: I think that was another big, you know, takeaway is like, you know, what happened to Emerald was just tragic, right?
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: Like, and and we don't know why he chose her to come home at that time, but you know what?
- 50:33SPEAKER_00: I shared the gospel on Cheryl's Club 175's social media.
- 50:39SPEAKER_00: And it was seen by like 20,000 people, right?
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: Like 20,000 insights.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: 20,000 people read that passage from the gospel, from the Bible, from his good word.
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: And before that, I would have never shared a Bible verse under the Cheryl's Club social media.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: Like that's sacrilegious, right?
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: Like, what?
- 50:57SPEAKER_00: Like, we don't talk about Jesus at the bar, but why not busting that door wide open?
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: And as long as the bar owner's daughter have been put in this position, I will speak the good news.
- 51:10SPEAKER_00: I will spread of his love and we will re-redo the light.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: And it's not gonna happen overnight.
- 51:15SPEAKER_00: It is just for today.
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: Just for today, we are gonna offer mocktails for people.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Just today, we are gonna have some excellent food.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: Just for today, we will choose to hold that space at Charles Come 175, a safe and fun and happy environment where the energy is high, so we can exchange gift and ideas.
- 51:34SPEAKER_00: Isn't that what the bar was all about?
- 51:36SPEAKER_00: When did it all become about like alcohol, alcohol, alcohol?
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: Like, no, it is a meeting place.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: It is a place to congregate, it is a place to share and exchange ideas.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: I feel like sometimes I feel I'm a little crazy.
- 51:46SPEAKER_00: Like, why am I like Cheryl's Club is my livelihood, sustain ourselves.
- 51:51SPEAKER_00: Um, but it is also Cheryl's Club is a wonderful opportunity to spread the good news.
- 51:56SPEAKER_00: Cheryl's Club is a place to connect.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: Cheryl's Club is a place to support the community.
- 52:02SPEAKER_00: Cheryl's Club is not just defined by the poison that our culture has chosen to serve.
- 52:09SPEAKER_00: We live in a time where the world is our oyster and we can rewrite the script at any given moment.
- 52:14SPEAKER_00: And it is your choice, friends.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: It is your choice.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: What you choose to order in there is totally on you, but you got options.
- 52:20SPEAKER_00: Yes, you do, and you can choose different whenever that looks like.
- 52:23SPEAKER_00: And yes, you will fall.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, you will mess it up.
- 52:26SPEAKER_00: Yes, you will.
- 52:26SPEAKER_00: You might go, you know, get hop off and on the onto the wagon, but you can pick it up, have that little song in your heart, the joy in your spirit, and and do what's best and for the most high.
- 52:38SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 52:39SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah, even here.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah, even at Cheryl's Club.
- 52:44SPEAKER_00: It's a wonderful, blessed thing.
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: And I'm just so grateful for the opportunity.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: I'm grateful for you to share the space and this energy.
- 52:51SPEAKER_00: Here's everything's gonna be all right.
- 52:54SPEAKER_00: And fill yourself up with his goodness.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Use use the herbs, use the tools, use the songs, write it down, let it out, and share it.
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: Because chances are if you're feeling those things, somebody else is too.
- 53:05SPEAKER_00: And so it's look it's it's loving thy neighbor more than you love yourself.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: Love God first, but love your neighbor second.
- 53:12SPEAKER_00: It didn't say love yourself more than your neighbor, right?
- 53:15SPEAKER_00: It is love your neighbor more than yourself.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: Look out for one another.
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: And I hope to connect with you soon in some way capacity.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna close out with a little hoapona ono to ensure this peace of I, this peace that surpasses all understanding, right?
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: It's and I love you.
- 53:30SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 53:31SPEAKER_00: Please forgive me.
- 53:32SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 53:33SPEAKER_00: God bless loved ones.
