- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Let's go starting this brand new day together. Thank you
- 0:05Speaker 2: for being here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Millennials are rejoicing because pop girly Hillary Duff is back.
- 0:14Speaker 3: She's ending her decade long break with the release of
- 0:17Speaker 3: her new single, Mature this Thursday. There's also a docu
- 0:20Speaker 3: series coming out alongside it that's going to show her balancing,
- 0:22Speaker 3: you know, raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsal.
- 0:27Speaker 3: For the first time in a decade, she's been really
- 0:29Speaker 3: focusing on acting, So this is huge, big. Anyone who
- 0:33Speaker 3: grew up with Hillary Duff is as elated as I
- 0:37Speaker 3: am right now. So this Thursday, Mature comes out Ingrassia
- 0:41Speaker 3: and Sons Deli is offering free meals to those on
- 0:44Speaker 3: Snap so that benefits have been paused, that the government
- 0:47Speaker 3: shut down continues, and the local community here in Nashville
- 0:50Speaker 3: has really just been stepping it up with ways to
- 0:52Speaker 3: help out their neighbors. In Grassian. Sons Deli is offering
- 0:56Speaker 3: free sandwiches if you show your EBT card and a
- 0:58Speaker 3: valid idea at the counter. They're also accepting donations to
- 1:01Speaker 3: pay it forward for someone looking to buy a sub
- 1:03Speaker 3: for someone who can't afford it. If there's any leftover
- 1:06Speaker 3: monetary donations by the time Snap is up and running again,
- 1:09Speaker 3: they're going to donate it to a charity. There's also
- 1:12Speaker 3: a post on our Instagram with a bunch of ways
- 1:14Speaker 3: to get involved, volunteer opportunities, where to donate food or money,
- 1:18Speaker 3: and a lot more information there. We are consistently updating
- 1:22Speaker 3: our Instagram stories with new stories as they come out
- 1:25Speaker 3: of ways that you can get involved to help your
- 1:27Speaker 3: fellow neighbors to make sure that they have food while
- 1:31Speaker 3: the government shutdown continues. McDonald's is changing its cash payment policy,
- 1:37Speaker 3: so now that the US is no longer going to
- 1:39Speaker 3: produce new pennies, they're adjusting the way that they handle
- 1:41Speaker 3: cash payments. Instead of giving exact change down to the scent,
- 1:45Speaker 3: restaurants in some areas are going to round totals up
- 1:48Speaker 3: or round down. This is where it gets dicey, right,
- 1:53Speaker 3: But if you pay with a card or mobile apps,
- 1:56Speaker 3: you won't be affected by this. Obviously, no one wants
- 1:59Speaker 3: to be round it up, right, which is what everybody
- 2:02Speaker 3: was saying is going to be the problem with these
- 2:04Speaker 3: exact payments and pennies. But here we are. We're dealing
- 2:08Speaker 3: with it anyway. So maybe it's just, you know, gonna
- 2:11Speaker 3: be easier for you to just pay with your card
- 2:13Speaker 3: if you can, Sanchez and those are the three things
- 2:15Speaker 3: you need to know.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Taking me a long time, but I finally embraced Apple
- 2:18Speaker 2: Pay and just paying with my phone everywhere I go.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Which is uh oh interesting.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Really nice. I don't know why I was like so
- 2:24Speaker 2: hesitant to adopt that technology, but it makes it very easy.
- 2:27Speaker 3: See. What makes me nervous is I go somewhere assuming
- 2:29Speaker 3: that they're gonna have it, and then they don't. Oh sure,
- 2:32Speaker 3: and then I'm like, well, what do I do now?
- 2:34Speaker 2: I guess I'm not getting this river.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Nicky Zach.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And in the morning, we always like to give back
- 2:40Speaker 2: to our early birds here. We started doing this first
- 2:42Speaker 2: caller of the Day thing a while back, and it's
- 2:45Speaker 2: nice to reward you. You're up here earlier, the backbone
- 2:47Speaker 2: of this country. And this week we've got passes into
- 2:50Speaker 2: Railbird Festival just happening in Lexington, Kentucky in June. The
- 2:54Speaker 2: Lumineer's Camp, Stephen Wilson, Junior, Ella Langley, Tyler Childers Zach.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Top of the lineup is really really duh. And we've
- 3:00Speaker 2: got tickets for you all week long.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Six on five, seven through seven, nine, one oh seven
- 3:05Speaker 3: to be the first caller of the day.
- 3:06Speaker 2: A little small talk with Ricky and myself. Zach is
- 3:08Speaker 2: still out today. What's small talk with us? Next?
- 3:12Speaker 4: Seven?
- 3:13Speaker 2: One seven five the River.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Morning, it's brighton early. We got our friend Parker in
- 3:20Speaker 3: Smyrna on the line. How you feeling this morning, Parker?
- 3:24Speaker 4: I'm ready to get today started, all right?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Good? You liking this time change or is it throwing
- 3:28Speaker 2: you off?
- 3:29Speaker 4: It's messing up so bad?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Isn't it crazy how just an hour can completely derail
- 3:33Speaker 3: your entire system? It's very crazy. We got to stop this.
- 3:37Speaker 3: This is nonsense. I don't understand why we still do this.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I have to say, I think last night was probably
- 3:41Speaker 2: the worst night of the entire year to go do
- 3:44Speaker 2: something out and about. Like my wife had plans already
- 3:47Speaker 2: in place to go get some drinks with some friends
- 3:48Speaker 2: at like seven thirty, and by the time by the
- 3:51Speaker 2: time that rolled around, she's like, oh my god, I'm exhausted.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Like the worst possible day to do something like that.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It felt so late and it gets so dark so fast.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Parker, What are you doing right now? Are you on
- 4:01Speaker 3: your way to work? I am? What do you do
- 4:03Speaker 3: for work?
- 4:06Speaker 5: Store?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Park motto part store? Okay?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Cool?
- 4:10Speaker 3: You know cars fascinate me and I've never done anything
- 4:12Speaker 3: to actually learn more about them, and I should do that.
- 4:14Speaker 3: That might be a hobby I pick up.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, right after you learn the harmonica?
- 4:17Speaker 6: Is that?
- 4:18Speaker 2: Is that? What's happening, Parker.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I'm pretty bad at like saying I'm going to start
- 4:22Speaker 3: a hobby and then not sticking to it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Why are you learning a language? I'm doing well.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I have been learning languages.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Oh you're try lingual now?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:32Speaker 2: Okay, I am.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I'm learning to be better in Spanish. I want to
- 4:36Speaker 3: be fluent in Spanish and I'm learning Irish.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Doo okay, say something so no Parker, thank you for
- 4:44Speaker 2: being here witnessing this madness. You want to go to
- 4:46Speaker 2: Railbird Festival Lexington, Kentucky in June.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh heck you all right?
- 4:50Speaker 2: You got passes?
- 4:51Speaker 3: Ah, thank y'all. That's awesome. Congratulations are the first color
- 4:54Speaker 3: of the day on one of seven five of the river.
- 4:56Speaker 3: That's what happens when you wake up early. To go
- 4:57Speaker 3: to work. You can win things like this.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's just me.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Congrats, Parker, thank you so much for hanging out with us.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna put you on hold for a second because
- 5:06Speaker 3: I gotta get some info from you. But again, thank you,
- 5:08Speaker 3: and have so much fun at Real Word Festival next year.
- 5:11Speaker 4: All right, thank you?
- 5:11Speaker 2: All all right, buddy, hang tight for a second. We
- 5:13Speaker 2: have more. Oh actually, Ricky, you say, say we have
- 5:16Speaker 2: more tomorrow in the middle, get.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Out of here for Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 5:21Speaker 2: On Ricky, I took my life back last night, yesterday, yesterday. Actually,
- 5:26Speaker 2: I had something I was working on all day and
- 5:27Speaker 2: I did it. And I think you're gonna be proud
- 5:29Speaker 2: of me.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Took your life back. I don't even know what that means.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I was I was living. I was in a bad way,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and you, uh, you shamed me for it repeatedly, and
- 5:40Speaker 2: I've made some changes.
- 5:41Speaker 3: This could literally be about anything, because I'm constantly shamy.
- 5:45Speaker 3: So I'm really excited to hear.
- 5:46Speaker 2: This right over the song less than three minutes. I'll
- 5:48Speaker 2: tell you what I did and how you can join me.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You can live a better life too. I'll tell you
- 5:51Speaker 2: next down the.
- 5:52Speaker 1: River, Ricky, Zach and Menow in the morning on the River.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I cannot wait to hear all about this. It's Riki
- 6:02Speaker 3: Zacamano in the morning on one of seven five of
- 6:04Speaker 3: the River. Kevin just said that he took his.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Life back, reclaim my life.
- 6:08Speaker 3: And it has something to do with something that I
- 6:11Speaker 3: have shamed him for in the past. But the thing
- 6:14Speaker 3: is is I shame him quite often for things that
- 6:16Speaker 3: he does, so this could be quite literally anything.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I'm slowly going down the list. I'm gonna just take
- 6:21Speaker 2: care of all the things. You guys give me a
- 6:23Speaker 2: hard time for.
- 6:24Speaker 3: What did you do yesterday?
- 6:25Speaker 2: I cleaned out my email inbox. I had oh thousands
- 6:30Speaker 2: of unread emails and I got it down to zero.
- 6:33Speaker 3: How much time did that take you?
- 6:35Speaker 2: Not as much time as you think. It's one of
- 6:37Speaker 2: those things where you put it off, you put it off,
- 6:38Speaker 2: you put it off, and then it's just so quick
- 6:39Speaker 2: and easy. It's like, why did I spend years putting
- 6:41Speaker 2: this off?
- 6:42Speaker 3: How good do you feel right now?
- 6:43Speaker 2: I feel great. It's really a great feeling. And I
- 6:46Speaker 2: just want to encourage anybody that's struggling with the same
- 6:48Speaker 2: issue to just go ahead and do it. Just get
- 6:50Speaker 2: it done and you'll feel better on the other side.
- 6:53Speaker 6: I am in awe.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I am shocked. I am in awe. I am so
- 6:57Speaker 3: proud of you. This is a huge moment. I was
- 6:59Speaker 3: on expecting this to ever happen.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I don't know why. I was always on top of it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'd like a nice clean inbox and then something about
- 7:06Speaker 2: the pandemic. I don't know why. When we were all
- 7:09Speaker 2: stuck at home, I gave up and it just built
- 7:11Speaker 2: and built and built. And it's been years of just
- 7:14Speaker 2: thousands upon thousands of unread emails. And to be clear,
- 7:18Speaker 2: I just went and like selected all of them and
- 7:21Speaker 2: hit like Marc has read least I didn't read. I
- 7:24Speaker 2: didn't read all these old emails.
- 7:25Speaker 3: But well that's the thing. Clearly they weren't important to you,
- 7:28Speaker 3: so you didn't need to read them, but you needed
- 7:30Speaker 3: to at least clear them out because it gave me
- 7:34Speaker 3: so much anxiety.
- 7:35Speaker 2: That number at the bottom of the phone there.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Oh no, it gives me like literal chills down my
- 7:39Speaker 3: spine when I get notifications like that, I have to
- 7:41Speaker 3: clear them out at the end of the day.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I'm going to try to live like that now.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I can't start the day with millions of notifications. It
- 7:48Speaker 3: gives me anxiety.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Now, the next thing I need to do is unsubscribe
- 7:51Speaker 2: from about ten thousand random yes things that that are.
- 7:56Speaker 2: You buy a pack of gum and they asked for
- 7:59Speaker 2: your email address. You're now gonna get emails from them
- 8:01Speaker 2: for the rest of your life.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yep. Yeah, that heart's really hard. It really annoying.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The title clutter So proud of you.
- 8:07Speaker 3: This is a huge moment, keV Dogg. You are on
- 8:09Speaker 3: your way to being shamed less and less.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Such a big day. I feel good.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I do three things you need to know.
- 8:17Speaker 2: All right, let's go just after seven o'clock on this
- 8:19Speaker 2: Tuesday morning. Let's make it a great day. Friends. Ricky's
- 8:22Speaker 2: got those three things.
- 8:23Speaker 3: The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has added possibly the biggest
- 8:26Speaker 3: stars of today to the lineup of performances.
- 8:29Speaker 5: The Number six and seven, Hey Bob, Deven Hunters took
- 8:34Speaker 5: over Halloween, but now it looks like they're gonna take
- 8:36Speaker 5: over Thanksgiving as well because Hunterricks is going to perform
- 8:39Speaker 5: this year, and the characters Balloons.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Will also debut.
- 8:42Speaker 2: It's huge, massive.
- 8:44Speaker 3: The parade begins at eight thirty am. On November twenty
- 8:47Speaker 3: seventh in all time zone, so eight thirty am here
- 8:49Speaker 3: as well, and it's gonna have a bunch of other
- 8:51Speaker 3: performers as well, like Lil John, Russell Dickerson, Shaggy, Mickey
- 8:56Speaker 3: guyon Mister Fantasy. Oh that's the kJ Appa's like Alter Yes,
- 9:03Speaker 3: and a bunch more. It looks like it's gonna be
- 9:05Speaker 3: a really fun lineup for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Like I said, that starts at eight thirty am. Last
- 9:11Speaker 3: night was the Michelin Guide American South Awards and a
- 9:13Speaker 3: bunch of national restaurants were named, so big congrats to
- 9:17Speaker 3: all of you. The Cat, Bird, Seat, Bashion, and Locus
- 9:21Speaker 3: all received one star, which is huge. Multiple other restaurants
- 9:26Speaker 3: received the bib Gourmond, which recognizes restaurants offering really good
- 9:30Speaker 3: food but at moderate prices. So on that list were
- 9:34Speaker 3: Kisser Peninsula, Redheaded Stranger, Show, Pizza Bar, Saint Vino, Fakacheria,
- 9:40Speaker 3: ss Guy, and uzbegem Healal Restaurant are all on that list.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I know I'm starving now just thinking about it, So
- 9:48Speaker 3: congrats to all of them. Obviously exceptional work. These are
- 9:52Speaker 3: huge awards and what you look forward to when you
- 9:54Speaker 3: work in the industry and it takes a whole group
- 9:57Speaker 3: of them, you know, the whole team to really make
- 9:59Speaker 3: it work like that. So congrats all of you, and
- 10:03Speaker 3: Salthaby's auction House has a toilet up forbid that's literally
- 10:07Speaker 3: eighteen garrett solid gold. Really, it's eighteen Garrett solid gold.
- 10:12Speaker 3: It weighs over two hundred and twenty pounds. It's gonna
- 10:15Speaker 3: hit the auction block starting with a bid of ten
- 10:17Speaker 3: million dollars, which is the value of the gold, the
- 10:21Speaker 3: two hundred and twenty pounds of freaking gold. It was
- 10:26Speaker 3: created by an artist's that was titled America. It was
- 10:30Speaker 3: meant to present the social commentary hook fun at wealth
- 10:33Speaker 3: and excess kind of thing. It's one of two of
- 10:36Speaker 3: the gold toilets that were made by him. One was
- 10:39Speaker 3: in the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Were over one
- 10:43Speaker 3: hundred thousand people lined up to use it, like they
- 10:45Speaker 3: just sat on it kind of thing.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 3: The second version made headlines in twenty nineteen. It was
- 10:50Speaker 3: stolen from a place in England. Thieves just took it
- 10:53Speaker 3: from the plumbing and it vanished.
- 10:55Speaker 2: So these are actually plumbed like these are working toilets, yeah,
- 10:58Speaker 2: crazing toilets.
- 11:00Speaker 3: But the other one was never recovered. So this is
- 11:02Speaker 3: the only one. It was from the Goggenheim. It's the
- 11:05Speaker 3: only one. It's going up for auction.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Uh.
- 11:08Speaker 3: It starts to November eighth. If you got ten million
- 11:11Speaker 3: dollars for a solid gold toilet, Huh. This is for you, okay,
- 11:17Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez, And those are the three things you need
- 11:19Speaker 3: to know.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Thank you for that, Ricky, very educational. We've got more
- 11:22Speaker 2: information information for you, Zach. I sure did Zach is out,
- 11:27Speaker 2: but I've got your fact coming right after Shaboozi on the.
- 11:30Speaker 1: River, Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning.
- 11:33Speaker 3: On the river racks out today. So Kevin is taking
- 11:37Speaker 3: over for Zach's fax on one of seven five the river.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, this one was actually inspired by you, Ricky, in
- 11:42Speaker 2: something you were just talking about. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
- 11:45Speaker 2: The parade debuted in nineteen twenty four in the first
- 11:48Speaker 2: balloons like gigantic balloons came three years later in nineteen
- 11:51Speaker 2: twenty seven. They had a human balloon, a dinosaur balloon,
- 11:55Speaker 2: a doxin, a dog, and Felix the cat. He was
- 11:58Speaker 2: their first character balloon in nineteen twenty seven.
- 12:01Speaker 3: And look at it now, there's so many balloons, so many,
- 12:05Speaker 3: so many, and never yearly add new ones.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And that's your fact of the day.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Thanks v Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning one.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Now that twenty twenty five is coming to an end,
- 12:16Speaker 3: I know that that's shocking to hear, but it's the reality.
- 12:19Speaker 3: We want to know what word or phrase you want
- 12:21Speaker 3: to leave in twenty twenty five. I mean, it's one
- 12:23Speaker 3: oh seven five the river. I know Kevin's got one
- 12:26Speaker 3: locked and loaded, ready to go.
- 12:28Speaker 2: It's try the first one that comes to mind for
- 12:29Speaker 2: a lot of people, especially people you don't want to parents. Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 2: six seven obviously I would like to never hear that again.
- 12:36Speaker 2: But it doesn't have to be if you have something
- 12:38Speaker 2: to add to our little list here, it doesn't have
- 12:40Speaker 2: to be new necessarily, just maybe like a little buzzword
- 12:43Speaker 2: that you're sick.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Of anything at all that you want to leave in
- 12:46Speaker 3: twenty twenty five. We also have a list of Lake
- 12:49Speaker 3: Superior Universities banished words lists for twenty twenty five that
- 12:52Speaker 3: will run down to and some of these aren't new ones,
- 12:54Speaker 3: they're the old ones. They just want to be done
- 12:56Speaker 3: with them this year.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So if you've got and like it, just nails on
- 12:59Speaker 2: a chalkboard, this world phrase, we want to hear it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven, three, seven nine seven.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Tricky Zach and Meno in the morning on Genie.
- 13:08Speaker 2: And Hermitage is on the line. Do you have one, Genie?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:11Speaker 1: And it actually isn't even a phrase or anything that
- 13:15Speaker 1: you say. It's a tiny clap.
- 13:17Speaker 3: It's when they do the thumb.
- 13:19Speaker 6: To the first finger and they're like, clap, clap.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I mean leave it, yeah, be clocking it.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Okay, I believe it, Cooky.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Bad, I don't know. Clocking it. That's what that's called.
- 13:33Speaker 3: You like when you like your two fingers as you
- 13:35Speaker 3: put them together, like she's like a tiny clock.
- 13:37Speaker 1: It's tiny clasps. If say clocking, that's good O. But yeah,
- 13:42Speaker 1: that's tiny class.
- 13:43Speaker 3: We should leave him bad. He's over it.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I just found out about it. Thanks for calling Jennie, right,
- 13:56Speaker 2: thank you. I like it. I like this tiny clap.
- 13:58Speaker 3: It's funny though that you're just learning about it.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I'm starting twenty twenty six with it. Easton Good Morning.
- 14:03Speaker 2: What is it for you? Do you have a word
- 14:05Speaker 2: or phrase you want to leave behind.
- 14:08Speaker 3: What I even like it, Easton. I mean, it's funny
- 14:11Speaker 3: in school.
- 14:12Speaker 2: It's kind of getting old and now it doesn't have
- 14:15Speaker 2: a meaning.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Okay, And how old are you? Eastern eleven eleven and
- 14:19Speaker 3: you're kind of that age group that's doing it a lot.
- 14:22Speaker 3: So listen to Easton everyone. I think we're kind of
- 14:25Speaker 3: over it. You're over using six seven.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Here's my thing about six seven. Like I know, everybody's like, oh,
- 14:30Speaker 2: I hate it, and I don't like it. I'm sick
- 14:31Speaker 2: of hearing it. But it's harmless. I like that it
- 14:34Speaker 2: doesn't mean anything bad. And like everybody, all the kids
- 14:37Speaker 2: are in on it, like it's unifying with.
- 14:39Speaker 6: All the Kurds.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Everybody's yeah, that's the part that gets old. We're leaving
- 14:47Speaker 3: it in twenty twenty five, Easton, thank you for calling.
- 14:49Speaker 2: You're all right, see you, buddy. I know Rick, you
- 14:51Speaker 2: have a list too, like Lake Superior Universe.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the day your old list of banished words.
- 14:57Speaker 3: They do it every year. So these are the banished
- 14:59Speaker 3: words for twenty twenty five. Cringe game changer era unless
- 15:05Speaker 3: you're Taylor Swift, of course, is what it says. But
- 15:07Speaker 3: I get the era thing. Everybody's in an esha, but
- 15:10Speaker 3: like that's life. We're all experiencing different parts of life.
- 15:15Speaker 3: The if you know, you know, I K why ca Yes,
- 15:20Speaker 3: they don't want that anymore. Sorry, not sorry. Skibbitty is
- 15:24Speaker 3: on here.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Skibbity that's not going away. I think there's a skibbitty toil.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I know it's not going anywhere anytime soon. And here's
- 15:30Speaker 3: one that I use all the time that they want
- 15:32Speaker 3: to do away with in twenty twenty five. One hundred percent.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Oh really, yeah, they want to do away with one
- 15:39Speaker 3: hundred percent. I say that all I do too.
- 15:42Speaker 2: That's just part of like regular I don't think that's
- 15:44Speaker 2: a buzzworder.
- 15:45Speaker 3: There's agreeing with someone.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Maybe say like keep it a hundred or like hondo
- 15:49Speaker 2: p like those things I can know behind that's.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's worse. So I feel like one hundred
- 15:53Speaker 3: percent is not that bad.
- 15:55Speaker 2: No P Back one seven five of the River Ricky
- 15:59Speaker 2: Zach and Manowan Kevin.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Mano's Game of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. It's
- 16:03Speaker 3: a new game we started playing yesterday. It's called Google Olympics.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we combined the words Google and Olympics. To make
- 16:10Speaker 2: the Google Olympics.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Kevin combined the words Google and Olympics to create Google Empics.
- 16:15Speaker 3: But you're playing for Dollywood tickets. Everybody wants these tickets.
- 16:19Speaker 3: The phones have been going nuts.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Are you saying you don't want credit for the name
- 16:22Speaker 2: Google Olympics.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I don't need it, you know, I think I'm okay
- 16:25Speaker 3: with it.
- 16:25Speaker 2: All right, let's say good morning to Kayla in Old Hickory. Hi, Kayla,
- 16:30Speaker 2: good morning, Welcome to the river, thanks for being here.
- 16:33Speaker 2: You are going to compete today against Jen and Murphy's Borough.
- 16:35Speaker 6: Hi.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Jen, Hey, good, good good? Did you both hear this
- 16:39Speaker 2: game yesterday?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, great?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 16:41Speaker 2: You know that your name is your buzzer. When you
- 16:43Speaker 2: have the answer, shout out your name. That's how you
- 16:45Speaker 2: buzz in.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Uh.
- 16:46Speaker 2: And the first person to get two out of three
- 16:48Speaker 2: of them gets these Dolly withod tickets.
- 16:49Speaker 4: You're ready, ready?
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, let's roll the Google Olympics start right now. We
- 16:55Speaker 2: all just celebrated Halloween this past weekend. Hope you had
- 16:59Speaker 2: a lovely time. The original Halloween movie starring Jamie Lee
- 17:02Speaker 2: Curtis came out in what year and now is when
- 17:06Speaker 2: they google? As does Ricky Oh.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Tayla, Kayla, nineteen seventy eight.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Nice shop. I should have known that off the bat.
- 17:18Speaker 2: All right, Jen, look alive. How close were you to
- 17:20Speaker 2: get in that? Pretty close? Question number two? Kaylee, you
- 17:24Speaker 2: get this right?
- 17:24Speaker 6: You win?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Jen?
- 17:25Speaker 2: You need this to stay alive. We're having a super
- 17:27Speaker 2: moon this week, the biggest and brightest of the year.
- 17:31Speaker 2: How many miles away is the moon from Earth? I'm googling,
- 17:40Speaker 2: see what happens.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Jen, Jen about two hundred and twenty one, eight and seventeen.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I'll take it. Yeah, that's not what I had, but
- 17:50Speaker 2: it sounds like you googled it. Who knows that we
- 17:53Speaker 2: can trust the internet? But close enough, you know.
- 17:56Speaker 3: I'm trying to read all the numbers.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I'm like that for sure, sounds way more precise than
- 18:01Speaker 2: what I hit. All right, we got a tie ball
- 18:04Speaker 2: game here. The whoever wins this next point here gets
- 18:07Speaker 2: the tickets into Dollywood. What is the atomic number of phosphorus?
- 18:12Speaker 2: Ricky's face.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I don't even know how to spell phosphorus, n.
- 18:19Speaker 6: Jen, Jenean, it's fifteen, Kayla.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I'm so sorry, but congratulations Jen.
- 18:27Speaker 3: That's okay, good job, Jen, Oh, I love happens. Good sportsmanship.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Thank you for playing Kayla Jen. Congratulations. I don't know
- 18:37Speaker 3: how you knew how to spell phosphorus, but I'm proud
- 18:39Speaker 3: of you.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Three things you need.
- 18:42Speaker 2: To just past eight o'clock on this Tuesday morning, We
- 18:46Speaker 2: really appreciate starting your day with us over here at
- 18:48Speaker 2: the River. Ricky's got those three things.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Jimmy Fallon announced People's Sexiest Man Alive during his show
- 18:53Speaker 3: last night. A lot of bets were on Glen Powell
- 18:56Speaker 3: this year, but turns out it's Jonathan Bailey. You may
- 19:02Speaker 3: know him as Lord Anthony from Bridgerton or from Wicked.
- 19:05Speaker 3: He plays Fierro. He's the first openly gay man ever
- 19:08Speaker 3: to hold the title of People's Sexiest Man Alive. When
- 19:11Speaker 3: asked how he felt about the honor, he said, quote,
- 19:14Speaker 3: it's a huge honor. Obviously, I'm incredibly flattered and it's
- 19:17Speaker 3: completely absurd. So I love this pick. I think it
- 19:22Speaker 3: makes so much sense. This man's face card never declines
- 19:27Speaker 3: the beautiful face Man's beautiful, so he deserves it. Congrats
- 19:32Speaker 3: to Jonathan Bailey. Culture and Co at L and L
- 19:36Speaker 3: Market will have their final day of service on this Friday,
- 19:38Speaker 3: November seventh, so this is the last week to see
- 19:41Speaker 3: them and experience that cheese conveyor belt that they have.
- 19:44Speaker 3: The owners are taking their love of cheese on the road,
- 19:46Speaker 3: though they plan to debut a mobile cheese train in
- 19:49Speaker 3: January for weddings, pop ups, and events while they search
- 19:52Speaker 3: for their new permanent home. So eventually they plan to
- 19:54Speaker 3: be back. But go support them this week if you
- 19:56Speaker 3: have the chance. Check out their cheese conveyor belt. Wanted
- 20:00Speaker 3: to go and never got a chance, so I think
- 20:02Speaker 3: this week I just have to make time. I gotta go,
- 20:04Speaker 3: even if it's just by myself to eat some cheese.
- 20:07Speaker 3: But go support them while you still can for this
- 20:10Speaker 3: limited time until January. And Oreo has some wild new
- 20:15Speaker 3: Thanksgiving inspired flavors. So it's a limited edition cookie tin
- 20:19Speaker 3: tin that they're selling that it just turns the entire
- 20:22Speaker 3: Thanksgiving holiday meal into dessert. So it has twelve cookies,
- 20:26Speaker 3: two of each of six different flavors. So it starts
- 20:29Speaker 3: out pretty normal with flavors like pumpkin pie, caramel apple pie,
- 20:32Speaker 3: totally makes sense, sounds amazing, and then it goes into
- 20:36Speaker 3: somewhat strange but still you can make an argument for it.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Cranberry sauce and stewed potato okay, you can make an
- 20:42Speaker 3: argument for those, and then it jumps to really weird
- 20:45Speaker 3: with turkey and stuffing and then creamed corn.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I don't know why people do this.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Kevin is destroyed.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I don't know why. What's the point he's so upset?
- 20:56Speaker 3: The Thanksgiving tin is good nineteen ninety nine and you
- 20:59Speaker 3: can only order it online. I was not expecting Kevin
- 21:03Speaker 3: to get so upset about this.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Is it just talking? Is it like for the clickbait?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Like? Why do they?
- 21:08Speaker 3: Probably? I think it's probably clickbait.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Oh, we've got some gasoline flavored toothpaste coming out soon.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Sanchez, And those are the three things you need to know.
- 21:18Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 21:19Speaker 1: You're so distracted, Ricky, Zach and men like.
- 21:26Speaker 2: To talk about trash can etiquette for a second. Here
- 21:29Speaker 2: it's one oh seven five the River. If you're walking
- 21:32Speaker 2: down the street and you have garbage in your hand,
- 21:35Speaker 2: do you think it's okay to drop it in someone
- 21:37Speaker 2: else's bin? I want to like make a rule once
- 21:40Speaker 2: and for all on this. I feel like this like
- 21:42Speaker 2: tears neighbors apart. What if it's dog, What if it's
- 21:45Speaker 2: a dog poop bag? Ricky, what do you think.
- 21:47Speaker 3: This feels like such a dad question. Yeah, like I
- 21:50Speaker 3: have never thought about this is the day of my life.
- 21:53Speaker 3: So you're saying, if I'm walking down the street and
- 21:56Speaker 3: I have some like, uh, water bottle or something, and
- 21:59Speaker 3: I want to toss it because I finished it, Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 3: should I toss it in someone's random bins that are
- 22:04Speaker 3: out on the street.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Out on the curb. Yeah, they haven't wheeled them in yet,
- 22:06Speaker 2: or maybe they I mean, maybe they weren't even picked
- 22:08Speaker 2: up yet. But would you do that? Yeah, you would.
- 22:11Speaker 3: I don't see anything wrong with it.
- 22:12Speaker 2: A lot of people have a problem, a lot of people.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I don't know my my trash can, my trash can
- 22:17Speaker 2: space six one, five, seven, three seven, nine one o seven.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I'm not saying I would have a problem with it,
- 22:22Speaker 2: but I know it would rub people the wrong way.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I don't see an issue with it. I mean, it's
- 22:26Speaker 3: just trash.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Trash can etiquette. If you can help us create a rule,
- 22:31Speaker 2: we'd love to talk to you. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Seven for Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on
- 22:38Speaker 1: the River.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Kevin brought this question to the table because I guess
- 22:41Speaker 3: it's an issue in his neighborhood. Maybe it's the.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Type of thing that neighbors will argue about.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I've never thought about it a day in my life.
- 22:49Speaker 3: But here we are, Heather and Nashville. What do you
- 22:51Speaker 3: think about this?
- 22:52Speaker 4: I also don't think it's a big deal.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, it's garbage, right, That's where the garbage belongs,
- 22:57Speaker 3: is in the trash.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Yes, I mean, obviously, I think there's neighborhoods. You know,
- 23:02Speaker 4: they have specifications and whatnot, And I can understand that,
- 23:06Speaker 4: you know, it can be annoying and whatnot. But at
- 23:08Speaker 4: least in our neighborhood, we have two closed in call
- 23:11Speaker 4: to sacs, so everybody knows everyone and no one really
- 23:14Speaker 4: cares in our neighborhood. But if I if I've walked
- 23:17Speaker 4: my dog or something, and I you know, of course
- 23:19Speaker 4: I will admit I've thrown dog poop and somebody can't.
- 23:24Speaker 1: But you know, at least it's.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Better than throwing him on the ground, which I've seen before,
- 23:27Speaker 4: people throwing him in.
- 23:28Speaker 2: The bushy or not picking it up all.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. My husband even stepped in some poop in
- 23:33Speaker 4: our garden bed the other day. And it's not even
- 23:36Speaker 4: our dog poop. I don't know who did it. Yeah,
- 23:40Speaker 4: you know, yeah, at least pick it up and you know,
- 23:43Speaker 4: throw it away and I know they don't catch you whatever.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I do think that the like general consensus out there
- 23:48Speaker 2: with homeowners is dog poop does not You don't put
- 23:51Speaker 2: that in somebody else's been Why because well.
- 23:54Speaker 4: I will say, yeah, yeah, I was gonna say, some
- 23:56Speaker 4: people are weird about that. I do know because I
- 23:59Speaker 4: didn't know this until recently. They have a trash can
- 24:01Speaker 4: cleaning and saying like somebody will come clean the trash
- 24:04Speaker 4: cans and stuff for you. Oh yeah, some people are
- 24:07Speaker 4: weird about that, which I get. I can totally understand.
- 24:09Speaker 4: I'm not hating none anyone, but I want.
- 24:11Speaker 3: To worry about because I live in an apartment. You're
- 24:13Speaker 3: done on a home.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I'm not rich, so I don't clean my test can
- 24:17Speaker 4: lay there.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah exactly, Heather, thank you for calling. We appreciate your input.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I love Sydney and Nashville. Tell us your thoughts on this.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Do you think it's okay to throw your garbage in
- 24:27Speaker 3: your neighbor's trash bin?
- 24:29Speaker 2: I wouldn't personally, but I don't think it's that big
- 24:32Speaker 2: of a deal.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Why wouldn't you do it because you think that your
- 24:34Speaker 3: neighbors would be upset?
- 24:36Speaker 4: I just because you know.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I have a lot of trash, so I would be kind.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Of disappointed if someone took up the space in my bin.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I see, I get that. What about dog poop? Where
- 24:48Speaker 2: do you stand on dog poop? Do you think it's
- 24:49Speaker 2: okay to absolutely not? That's a hard note.
- 24:52Speaker 4: I would to do that.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Interesting though, everyone's really.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Maybe wait, don't put dog poop in the recycling bin?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Well?
- 25:02Speaker 3: No not, but.
- 25:04Speaker 4: You know, like an empty water bottle, I would.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Oh. The example that I had before was if I'm
- 25:09Speaker 3: walking around and I have a water bottle and if
- 25:11Speaker 3: I just finished the water bottle, dump the water bottle
- 25:13Speaker 3: and the recycling bin. Okay, so you good with the recycling,
- 25:16Speaker 3: but other trash is a no go for the most part.
- 25:18Speaker 4: No, no, okay, all right, you have you.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Have boundaries and that's okay, Sydney.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Yeah, thanks for calling in love, thank you have a
- 25:27Speaker 4: great day.
- 25:28Speaker 2: We're going to establish that rule like I wanted to.
- 25:30Speaker 3: It seems like the rule is no dog poop. Ever, Okay,
- 25:34Speaker 3: recycling is fine. Trash it depends on if you know
- 25:37Speaker 3: your neighbors.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Or not one O seven five Ricky Zach and We're gonna.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Hear a very different, reimagined version of Taylor Swift for
- 25:48Speaker 3: the Daily Double Tap today. I want to seven five
- 25:50Speaker 3: the River Kevin and I. We just really like when
- 25:53Speaker 3: people do their own spins on songs that already.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Exist, completely different spins, like a completely different spin.
- 25:59Speaker 3: It's fun to see where their creative minds go.
- 26:02Speaker 1: You know.
- 26:03Speaker 3: So this is Taylor Swift's uh Fate of Ophelia. It's
- 26:07Speaker 3: reimagined as a Mexican red chera and it sounds so cool.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Yeah, here we go.
- 26:12Speaker 6: It works.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I can listen to a whole album of that for real.
- 26:40Speaker 3: I'm also just gonna go ahead and say it sounds sexier.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Oh sexier.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Okay, it sounds sexier.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I mean, I know you're not criticizing Taylor, but watch out,
- 26:48Speaker 2: You're coming for you.
- 26:49Speaker 3: I'm totally not criticizing, but it sounds sexier this way.
- 26:53Speaker 2: But it is a credit to her that it's just
- 26:55Speaker 2: such a great song. It transcends genres.
- 26:57Speaker 3: You could do it anyway you want.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah, still good. We're gonna post sit up on our
- 27:01Speaker 2: Instagram stories at one O seven five the River for
- 27:03Speaker 2: the sexy Mexican RANCHERA version of the fate of affiliate
