- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 0:07Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now
- 0:11Speaker 1: one and on that Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Well all right, I learned something and it's sharing time.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for
- 0:29Speaker 1: all that he allows me to learn in my life. Well,
- 0:34Speaker 1: one of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 0:41Speaker 1: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 0:47Speaker 1: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say is,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and every challenge in hardship, every setback, I've learned something
- 0:59Speaker 1: so so valuable. So here's here's what I've You know,
- 1:05Speaker 1: I've known this, but I've just learned it at a
- 1:07Speaker 1: different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the key to having more. Now.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 1:23Speaker 1: can't tell you how true it is. God being fair
- 1:27Speaker 1: and just as he really is. He really is. He's
- 1:30Speaker 1: a fair and a just God. What's most beneficial to
- 1:33Speaker 1: us is he happens to be full of mercy and grace.
- 1:41Speaker 1: And I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from
- 1:47Speaker 1: his grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 1:54Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 1:59Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not here in this position today. I'm
- 2:07Speaker 1: just not. But the funny thing has happened along the way,
- 2:12Speaker 1: even to you, if you look at it, is that
- 2:16Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 2:21Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 2:27Speaker 1: room for Heaven to open up and pour out blessings
- 2:31Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 2:34Speaker 1: look at it, see God being affair and just God,
- 2:37Speaker 1: which he is, Why would he put more on you
- 2:43Speaker 1: than you can bear? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 2:47Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know, forget how rough it was, got that, but
- 2:55Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: it how it made you feel. You made it. Now,
- 3:05Speaker 1: what makes people give up, and you hear about people
- 3:07Speaker 1: committing suicide is they leave the God out of their
- 3:10Speaker 1: life and they start allowing that other voice to control.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And if it's really true that God never puts more
- 3:18Speaker 1: on you than you can bear, as long as you
- 3:20Speaker 1: stay connected to God, you can get through anything, but
- 3:24Speaker 1: you lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose
- 3:31Speaker 1: that relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship
- 3:34Speaker 1: with God, then who you having a relationship with? It
- 3:40Speaker 1: ain't but two forces at work at all time. It's
- 3:44Speaker 1: good and evil. It's positive and negative is God, it's Satan. Now,
- 3:53Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 3:57Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 4:01Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 4:06Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 4:10Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God. Come on, now,
- 4:15Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 4:20Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 4:24Speaker 1: than you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear,
- 4:27Speaker 1: that's a fact. Okay. Now with that fact in mind,
- 4:30Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 4:33Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 4:37Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 4:42Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 4:47Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it, why
- 4:51Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful?
- 4:53Speaker 1: For why would he give you some more stuff to
- 4:56Speaker 1: complain about? Why would he give you some more stuff
- 4:59Speaker 1: that you would not show any more appreciation for. I mean,
- 5:02Speaker 1: this thing is real simple, man, ain't it? If you
- 5:05Speaker 1: think about it? So? A lot of times, man, when
- 5:07Speaker 1: I was going through my positions of not having and
- 5:11Speaker 1: wondering at all, I here, I ended up checking myself
- 5:14Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 5:17Speaker 1: appreciation for the things he has done for me. Start
- 5:20Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude, because it's the key to
- 5:23Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings, is the
- 5:27Speaker 1: key to the windows of heaven opening up and pouring
- 5:30Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 5:39Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 5:43Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 5:47Speaker 1: you've shown no gratitude for the minimal, why would he
- 5:54Speaker 1: give you the maximum? I mean, I'm just really just
- 5:58Speaker 1: trying to real, real simple so I can keep understanding
- 6:02Speaker 1: this thing right here. So let me give you an example.
- 6:05Speaker 1: In my life, I had gotten so busy at one
- 6:09Speaker 1: point that I had began to complain about how busy
- 6:15Speaker 1: I was. This is true because I am busy, but
- 6:21Speaker 1: it ain't the busy part because I asked to be busy.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You know, I asked God to give me opportunities and
- 6:28Speaker 1: to make a way for me. Well, in that, you
- 6:31Speaker 1: got to do something, and you got to get busy.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But I began to complain about the busyness and how
- 6:38Speaker 1: busy I was, and I noticed that a couple of
- 6:41Speaker 1: things slowed up for me. So I had got to
- 6:45Speaker 1: the point where I wasn't showing real gratitude for it. Well,
- 6:49Speaker 1: I looked up and a couple of things started slowing down.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then I had to catch myself, and I went, wow, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you have got to start embracing the fact that you
- 6:59Speaker 1: are this busy, embrace the fact that what all comes
- 7:03Speaker 1: along with it. Because to whom much is given, much
- 7:05Speaker 1: is required. You got to start embracing the requirement part
- 7:10Speaker 1: if you want to continue with the giving part. So
- 7:14Speaker 1: I changed my attitude. I caught myself, and I started
- 7:17Speaker 1: thinking them and showing real gratitude for how busy I
- 7:20Speaker 1: was instead of complaining about how busy I was. And
- 7:22Speaker 1: then guess what. It opened up the windows of heaven
- 7:25Speaker 1: and some more blessings got pulled out. It just works
- 7:28Speaker 1: that way all the time, for everybody, for me, for you,
- 7:32Speaker 1: for everybody. So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 7:37Speaker 1: is the key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 7:40Speaker 1: is the key to continued blessings, And your appreciation and
- 7:43Speaker 1: gratitude is the only way that you can get those
- 7:47Speaker 1: windows of heaven to open up and pull out these
- 7:50Speaker 1: blessings that you won't have room enough to receive. You
- 7:53Speaker 1: got to act like you're glad for what you got
- 7:55Speaker 1: in order to get more. You feel me, let's go
- 7:59Speaker 1: here listens The Steve Harvey Morning Show
