- 0:49We're here for episode 2 of the sun Baker's.
- 0:50My name is David Paschal. Also known as mrs.
- 0:53Remington fan and I'm joined by hello, my name is Dolores gray

- 1:19don't know is Mean, Joe actually writing the musical stuff and
- 1:21then sits within its in early stages of the moment, we're
- 1:24hoping mr. Lloyd Webber will be.

- 1:39Sylvester McCoy. Where are you folks heading?
- 1:42Uh-huh. And then, of course, the the
- 1:45entirely vocal tract, which is just me doing the incident, a
- 1:49musical. Then another then another, then
- 1:51another, then another bonus Track by Courtney Pine
- 2:07relationship. I'd say it's more of an open
- 2:14relationship, really? Yes.
- 2:16Like, I'm occasionally, you know, in love with some makers.
- 2:19No, no. What do you mean by relationship
- 2:22as in? What was the first time you
- 2:23joined? The first time?
- 2:24You've watched it or when you saw it?
- 2:27Yeah, so I came to somebody who's really late.
- 2:30So I had my own bootleg Doctor Who fan who would send me VHS in
- 2:37the post in return for things. You don't need to know about now
- 2:41I'm A cognizer. It wasn't it was money like I
- 2:43don't even want and I mean that is a new Doctor
- 3:00Who, you know? Yeah and I watch this when it
- 3:05came out of VHS And I remember being instantly struck by kind
- 3:12of how sore dour and saturated it all looked.
- 3:17But by the end of episode 1, I was laughing my head off and the
- 3:21same thing happened with carnival at monsters where I
- 3:24remember starting that and it was all those weird things with
- 3:26the guys, wearing the masks at the beginning on into - okay,
- 3:31boys, this, what is this crap? And by the end of the first
- 3:35episode, it's so clever. So funny.
- 3:37And the performances are so good that I was like I'm just into
- 3:41this like fuck production values, I am really into this,
- 3:46so yeah, so I loved it straight off the bat.
- 3:50That's lovely, that's nice to hear.
- 3:52How about you? Oh, that's a good question.
- 3:56I think, the first time I have, I remember the video cover very
- 4:01well because I think I went to a signing for when the VHS came
- 4:06out and it was Tom Baker and Louise Jameson signing the video
- 4:09cover. Okay, I just remember it was a
- 4:12bit that publicity shot of the three.
- 4:14It's of Lila. And the doctor and canine.
- 4:20It's the kind of after show you a picture.
- 4:23It's more distant was as she got the scarf around.
- 4:26Yeah. That's the one.
- 4:26Yeah, it's alive. It's got, its got the Pluto
- 4:29thing in it as well. And it's all yellow.
- 4:32And that's my first recollection.
- 4:33And I remember watching it as a kid and not quite understanding
- 4:36it, but I think this is a story that you have to watch as an
- 4:38adult. I can imagine as a kid, this one
- 4:42going over your head a little bit, but as an adult, you think
- 4:44about this is clever, this is clever.
- 4:46I mean, I think like, in terms of like Racing's, this one
- 4:49scored pretty respectfully across the board.
- 4:54As a child, I think like the height and performances and the
- 4:58comedy Maybe Might appeal, but all of those social commentary
- 5:03would just go. Yeah.
- 5:05Unless you're a particularly Savvy five-year-old, you know,
- 5:08he's like I'm gonna end I'm not going to enjoy paying taxes when
- 5:12I'm older but I mean as an adult, there's just so much to
- 5:18Regan. This isn't there, it's genius.
- 5:21It's absolutely genius. And a lot of that in the first
- 5:24episode where there's spelling out the core do like, like
- 5:29you've got to pay tax on the funeral.
- 5:31You've got to pay tax on the fact that you're doing overtime.
- 5:34You got to pay tax and it's like this year and he just can't, he
- 5:38can't make ends meet and and like, literally so relatable, go
- 5:41back the, you know, like 10 years, that's where we were
- 5:43where people were living below. That's below the bright line
- 5:48and, you know, leaning and I volunteered in food banks, I
- 5:54volunteered in the food bank, in the previous town, I lived in,
- 5:57and the amount of people that couldn't afford food families to
- 6:02jobs families. The couldn't afford to feed
- 6:05their children that were, and you only got vouchers for these
- 6:08food banks if you would like, desperate social workers, and
- 6:11things like that where the only people that could give them out.
- 6:14So it's not like you can just go and say okay.
- 6:16Please sir, I need some food. It was people that were
- 6:18desperate like that's that's how the government are treating
- 6:24people. Now while yeah, whilst they're
- 6:27paying for their, you know, 100,000 pounds of artwork.
- 6:31For Downing Street. That talking, I got that.
- 6:35I got very serious him for a second but this, this is
- 6:38relevant now, this story. Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:41It's that's why I think it's, it's so brilliant and so
- 6:44underrated is people, The doctor who can do to could do anything.
- 6:49I mean, this was, this was done because Robert Holmes had a tax
- 6:53bill. He was very annoyed at him, and
- 6:55he basically gave him a two finger, salute, to the Inland
- 6:58revenue, and horrible. P45 wife like this surface is
- 7:02are just like Blissful. Yeah.
- 7:06And you know what like success who enjoys paying tax everyone
- 7:10out there hold up your hands if you enjoy paying tax, you know?
- 7:13No one does. So the fact that this is so
- 7:15bloody These Savage about yeah, exactly.
- 7:18It's a live but it's also really funny.
- 7:21Oh it's very good but it's it's it's funny but it's that good
- 7:25amount of funny, but scary. You know what I mean?
- 7:29They're kind of not scary. Maybe that's all right word but
- 7:32kind of serious as well. It it it's that Doctor Who that
- 7:34I like that is it's very funny but it's not placed for Laughs
- 7:38whatsoever. And every single person in this
- 7:40is taking it absolutely straight and I think that's the best kind
- 7:43of Dusty. Do you think then what Skip
- 7:46forward a couple of years or something like not very well.
- 7:51She's going to take something like the Armageddon Factor
- 7:53actually, with the chaps. You know that sort of character
- 7:58or hold a reading with playing. Whoo.
- 8:01Laughs playing, he died. It died.
- 8:04It died. Are you?
- 8:07Claiming Spirit knowledge. But like I mean, essentially not
- 8:12married miss playing knock otix for laughs and And absolutely
- 8:17Armageddon factor is technically playing like nuclear Armageddon
- 8:21for Laughs. Whereas this the has a very
- 8:26serious backbone to it even though it's very, very funny.
- 8:30And when we get into this episode, I want to talk about
- 8:34one performance in particular, but I think, I think it's just
- 8:38genius. I think is just brilliant.
- 8:40Well, should we watch some genius doctor?
- 8:41He dead now, let's not live. God See you later.
- 8:47Yeah, let's do it. Let's get it.
- 8:49Let's do it. Okay, so press record again, the
- 8:54you gotta count as in. So I am already.
- 8:57Oh I'm I'm ready. You ready?
- 9:00Always? You said, that was some
- 9:02confidence. Sorry, that's a bad to me.
- 9:05I'll tell you about it off camera.
- 9:07All right. I'll be ready in five, four,
- 9:11three, two, and a one. Let's go.
- 9:16Here we go. It's been like, you know what,
- 9:19right? It's a bit like the best Pixar
- 9:23movies. I think that there can be hugely
- 9:26entertaining. Yeah, for children.
- 9:29And yet they can have a really, like, biting commentary in them
- 9:35as well. Absolutely.
- 9:36Best the best of them, and, and something to say for the adults.
- 9:42I'm not sure what the Pixar version of the some makers would
- 9:45look like. But I think it's time if, if
- 9:51this is allowed because time to talk about somebody who is one
- 9:55of my favorite people in the whole of Doctor Who who's in
- 9:59this story and that's mr. John Leeson who I cannot tell
- 10:05you enough? How much I love that, man.
- 10:10Not only is he one of the nicest people you will ever meet in
- 10:13your life but he is also one of the most interesting.
- 10:16Yeah. Adorable and meant to listen to,
- 10:21as well. When he was talking at Utopia.
- 10:24I was struck at how his story. They were just show this
- 10:28stories. He talked very forcefully about
- 10:30the work that he had done. You know, it wasn't just like,
- 10:34oh, you know, I worked with Jon Pertwee.
- 10:36We have we got on so well and it was all marvelous, you know,
- 10:40there was, there was no element of that and, you know, he will
- 10:42doubt some of the same stories that I've heard like the bitch
- 10:45enslaving one and things like that.
- 10:48And the invisible enema, which I hear.
- 10:49He pulled out quite a bit. Sorry.
- 10:53So John don't pull anything out, John.
- 10:55All right, we don't want to see it.
- 10:58Do you not know that I was about to say?
- 11:03You either. But even now, I am not John
- 11:07Barrowman, Jesus Christ. But, yeah, he-he's conversation.
- 11:16It wasn't just lovey. Lovey, darling.
- 11:18Which a lot of people pull out on, in conventions.
- 11:21It was genuinely like, engaging with the work that you've done.
- 11:25I've been like Louise Jameson actually?
- 11:28Yeah, absolutely. And another one that comes
- 11:30across as very proud to be a part of it and okay.
- 11:33The conventions our apartment is living now you know.
- 11:36But here he is. Oh my God, oh my God look who's
- 11:41come. So let's not duct tape.
- 11:42He's got lots of colored flashing buttons.
- 11:46Oh my God, he's thing that goes boing saying this is a this is a
- 11:51he is definitely gone to the ground crowd and schooled of
- 11:54acting. I'll put the two of them
- 11:56together. Your highest thousand apologies.
- 12:06This is what I love about this story as well.
- 12:08I think one of the main reasons I love this story is for his
- 12:11performance because it's, it's creepy, but it's a lot of fun,
- 12:16but it's not over-the-top. You know, you've got something
- 12:18like G crowd, who don't get me wrong.
- 12:20I love Graham crowd, men or deny, but he's all mad or some
- 12:24hussy. It's very performant.
- 12:32Just works. So well, I always think and I'll
- 12:34talk about this morning. Therefore when Tom Baker gets a
- 12:37really good actor to play a scene with this amazing study
- 12:41raises his game. Absolutely.
- 12:43I mean I would say Tony Beckley from seed to do and Myra Frances
- 12:47from Crete from the pit. And another two that I can think
- 12:49of where Tom Baker, realizes how good?
- 12:52They are a right. I need to raise my game and I
- 12:54would also put Henry wolf in that.
- 12:56Yeah, I think he's. I think he's fabulous in this.
- 13:00I think he's said such and I know that Tom was a big admirer
- 13:05of His as well. I think he says on the
- 13:07commentary that as an actor, he was a big fan of every wolf.
- 13:11So when he came on to the show he was a bit like right.
- 13:14I've got a good actor here, it's a bit like Beatrix.
- 13:18Layman, isn't it? I like my view, bitch.
- 13:21Reclaim that said to him you're going to do it all that.
- 13:23I think started behaving. Yeah, Tom stop being naughty.
- 13:28Oh my God, I need to talk about this scene because it is one of
- 13:32the best Lila seems in a minute where she's like, Triad mandrel
- 13:37Proof of Your Hearts as big as your mouth.
- 13:40She get some terrific lines there.
- 13:44What? Yeah, the bit where she goes,
- 13:45what is it? You have nothing.
- 13:48No. Manhoods even animals protect
- 13:51their own. And then she turns the corner
- 13:54and goes core. Do you logic bravest man here?
- 13:59Like this list? I love could be really try.
- 14:02She sells it. Yeah, absolutely.
- 14:04I mean, that's like me saying in the first episode late and
- 14:06lesser actress would not do this Justice.
- 14:12And he's great, the like that, that element of her character
- 14:15that she's a fighter that she's a murderous technically.
- 14:18Yeah, it's never dropped. She's not afraid to kill people.
- 14:22I mean, the doctors stops her but she's never afraid to cut
- 14:26someone's heart out. Or you remember how we said in
- 14:29episode one? The Story essentially starts
- 14:32with the suicide. Yeah.
- 14:34So here we are in episode 2. What?
- 14:35We've got the doctor and a straitjacket and we're about to
- 14:38learn that the entire population is being drugged.
- 14:42It into submission into this Dreadful way of working.
- 14:48These are dark ideas. What is your point?
- 14:51Mr. Ford. Sorry, that's me trying to do
- 14:55collection. Yeah, I know it's, it's, it's a
- 14:57really dark premise, isn't it? I like that.
- 15:00I think Robert Rob groans Rob, Sherman rice.
- 15:04This kind of story. He, it's very Darkly funny.
- 15:08And I like that, I like humor. But I'm laughing and going,
- 15:13should I be laughing at this? Like, this is quite Twisted.
- 15:18I think it's, well, I think people forget a lot of people
- 15:22forget how to dance some of these stories are and can be
- 15:25like, I think, I'm like everyone's performance in this
- 15:30people go. Oh, it's a bit silly the bit
- 15:32over the top and if it, but what the character is doing, like you
- 15:35say very dumpster. Yeah, really.
- 15:38So it's not considered a dark story, right?
- 15:42It's considered a light 50s Musical and it starts on a
- 15:46massacre and almost like genocide.
- 15:50That's how the story unfolds. Absolutely.
- 15:53I mean, Ken Dodd is shot down, bro.
- 15:57To figure out that was the other clip.
- 15:59You kept showing us that the listeners.
- 16:08It's Ken dogs filming, Delta and the bannermen his death scene.
- 16:11And he pulls a very, very funny face.
- 16:13So if you can you because I there is an extended version of
- 16:15that and she will, I, when this episode goes out, this should be
- 16:19part of the marketing because the Ken Dodd extended death
- 16:23scene was nice as well. You've got its and I know there
- 16:29is a darkness, is one of your favorites.
- 16:33No, I'm pulling a face but they are device has a hierarchy of
- 16:37villains. You've got the Daleks, then
- 16:39you've got the was his name-o, be Woods his character.
- 16:43And then you've got the oh girls and here you've got the
- 16:46collector and then you've got the gatherer and then you've got
- 16:49like the guards essentially and that's interesting because it
- 16:53gives it gives the villains a dynamic.
- 16:55Normally it's just one villain. And Doctor whereas the this like
- 17:00power games here. Oh, and he also, you've got
- 17:02morning there as well. Yeah.
- 17:05If I mean, also The Gatherer is a bit of a bootlicker, is me
- 17:09really? I mean he's literally like a
- 17:11politician, isn't he really? He's just sucking up to his
- 17:15intellectual as much as he can. I've worked with so many people
- 17:19are there. All right, I've got no time for
- 17:21my matter. What I'm gonna want to watch him
- 17:23because we should leave just so funny, but yeah.
- 17:27Yeah, he calls him your hugeness at one point, which is possibly
- 17:32the rudest line in Doctor. Who matron, we need just looks
- 17:37like a big penis, doesn't he? What's his name Haman water, and
- 17:43we will ya. Who also appeared in The Rocky
- 17:46Horror Show. Apparently, once they always you
- 17:49one of the people dancing, yeah. Begins is in there as well.
- 17:53You know? Bring it.
- 17:54Yeah. Begins 11 to him.
- 17:56I'm surprised he's never been in Doctor Who.
- 17:59Well, you basically the big finish that one.
- 18:05Have you know what? Like oh, here we go.
- 18:16Another voyage round the English language.
- 18:19Very, very funny in that oh hey we can look at Lila here even
- 18:24animals protect their own, like she shames them into acting not
- 18:30a sorry, I don't think into reacting to the situation.
- 18:39Like this is a thing, you wouldn't get an 80s who not that
- 18:44the female protagonists are not this strong know and I think
- 18:50also, I know we do, but I think it's also partly to do with the
- 18:55actresses as well. Like, I don't think Louise
- 18:58Jameson's cells this so well. Yeah.
- 19:03Here we go. This is the line.
- 19:04You like it there. Yeah.
- 19:06You're the bravest man here. They have a lovely.
- 19:10I love their chemistry kalila and call do.
- 19:12She gets her own companion? That's How Strong she is here.
- 19:22I'll describe Isham. He I do find him quite
- 19:25irritating. I must say actually, if I have a
- 19:28bit annoying I mean he's supposed to be passing though,
- 19:31isn't it? Because he's been drugged.
- 19:34Oh yeah that's true. I do like all the work the it's
- 19:38cheap but all like the circuitry wallpaper they put up
- 19:41everywhere. That's that's quite a nice
- 19:42touch. Intensity.
- 19:45But that that thing where they control the gaps on the wall, it
- 19:49looks like something out of Futurama.
- 19:50It's so basic and the endless. Yeah.
- 19:52Oh, good job. I mean that, I mean, I don't
- 19:55mind it that I don't mind the fact that it's cheap.
- 19:59No, I mean, I quite like it. Oh, look at those boots.
- 20:04Sorry, that's what. That's a weird costume.
- 20:07Well, okay, we're back on Star. Watch again.
- 20:10I think we'd have to give Bishop 15 out of 60.
- 20:15Yeah, I think so. What would you give Lila?
- 20:19Oh, she's happy High 55. I would say 75 at 60.
- 20:25Always have a sorry. Here we go.
- 20:30Well done, mom. So have you got because you've
- 20:38met Tom, and you, you fat mr. Baker, but what are your
- 20:42memories of meeting? And so when I, when I actually
- 20:46met him face to face, it was like, you know, one of those
- 20:49you're in and out like, it was that quick but my biggest
- 20:53recollection was I was in the front row of a very small room
- 20:57because it was a small convention where he gave his
- 21:00hour long talk and they opened out the room, two questions very
- 21:05quickly and Aubrey. I hate public speaking.
- 21:08So I wouldn't put my hand up and ask question.
- 21:10I know it was during a combat. You worth straight in there all
- 21:14night. No, no, no.
- 21:16For this one I'm telling you and even if Angela Bruce said that
- 21:19my question was rubbish, but there we go.
- 21:21Oh, come on. That was one of the highlights
- 21:22of your weekend. Surely it was, it was, but she
- 21:26had a point were asking Tom Baker, questions and honest to
- 21:30God. Like he didn't answer any of
- 21:32them at all, he just wouldn't go, you know, they'd be like,
- 21:34oh, so what's your favorite? Story and he'd be like, wow, the
- 21:37thing about death is it's all coming to us, eventually, you
- 21:41know, or you know how what was it like working with bitch?
- 21:45It's late. But oh well be yes.
- 21:47Well, you know I've worked with many movie stars in my time
- 21:50Maggie. Oh my God was saying that woman
- 21:52from Downton Abbey, Maggie Smith, Maggie Smith when I did
- 21:56below, you just went off on some mad tangent and he was so insane
- 22:00because basically the, The Comedy of his routine was in not
- 22:04answering the question. He is truly an eccentric spot in
- 22:10the most and and he's he's like weaponized it made a career out
- 22:15of it. She's and he is he he is the
- 22:20doctor you know when you meet him he is not Tom Baker, he is
- 22:24the doctor. I don't mean this in a funny way
- 22:29at all his death and he is an old man now and he will not
- 22:34dance and theater. He's deaf.
- 22:38We'll leave the biggest hole in Doctor Who now we've lost an
- 22:42incredible Doctor Who stars already Caroline, John, let us
- 22:47later. Nicholas corny, Tom Baker's
- 22:49death that will hit the hardest. I think because I don't think he
- 22:54does, he's like right in the center of Doctor.
- 22:58Who isn't he right in the center of the classic show easily the
- 23:01most popular classic. Docks are easily the most
- 23:06Viewed, you know, like like he is Doctor Who and it sounds
- 23:13awful. But I'd, I can't think of living
- 23:15in a world without Tom Baker. I can't I can't think of a world
- 23:20where we David Baker. I'll be there to hold your
- 23:22hands. I've just had to have a day off
- 23:25when Elizabeth sladen died. What am I going to be like when
- 23:27Tom Baker goes? Yeah I'm just gonna be I think
- 23:32God has got very serious for a second I think post my mother's
- 23:37death. I have like just come to terms
- 23:41with the fact that see people die, you know, and people
- 23:45remember door and love die and it It's okay, you know?
- 23:50But I don't think we should ever underestimate what these people
- 23:59mean to us. These people that we've
- 24:00connected within our childhoods and growing up to lately and
- 24:04embraced as adults gone to seeing conventions, like,
- 24:08they're like family. Only there is sounds absurd, but
- 24:11they are, they mean something that strong to us.
- 24:15So you say that you need to think day off.
- 24:18My completely empathize with that and I just excited, just
- 24:23don't, I'll tell her it's going to happen but I just don't want
- 24:25to think about that because I don't know how I'm going to
- 24:28react. I mean, at the time of recording
- 24:30this last week we lost Eunice tubs and that hit me so hard.
- 24:37I never thought, you know, I saw the pictures you are posting on
- 24:40Instagram and it was just her being delightful and smiley and
- 24:44just was that the story I told ya.
- 24:49Just I mean that was you know she was someone that I just grew
- 24:52up loving and you know that's but also I thought what woman
- 24:58and it will be the same When Tumblr I think what why Legacy
- 25:02persons. I know this might not seem like
- 25:03a massive comforter but look at the body of work that lie behind
- 25:07that they'll be watched and remembered and you know people
- 25:12will be excited to see them long after they're gone.
- 25:14Let's look at Elizabeth sladen, man.
- 25:16I yeah. Watching her now, you know.
- 25:20Yeah. I mean, also, I do she's not
- 25:23Bend up to, but like I think about you disturbs us thinking
- 25:26how, like, how amazing that at the end of her life.
- 25:29She got Sherlock, something that completely changed her life and
- 25:33just least Laden with Sarah, Jane Adventures, Sarah Jane,
- 25:36exactly. I'm Tom Baker with a big finish.
- 25:39That's all I can really Embrace talk to you again and the 50th
- 25:42Anniversary. Oh God, I remember watching that
- 25:45that 50th anniversary. And when he appeared in the sea,
- 25:47Mm. Are, you know, your I really
- 25:50think you might, I thought it was John kosher honest to God.
- 25:54When I heard it in the went to screening and all these people
- 25:58were screaming, every time they turn up in, I was going shut up,
- 26:01be quiet, want to listen. And then I heard Tom Baker and I
- 26:05just went in that can't be him, it's John kosher, it's got to be
- 26:08John kosher either goes like folks on Baker.
- 26:11At one point, doesn't it worry? Just goes like, you know, like
- 26:15mad old tome. Oh my God.
- 26:19Okay Tom Baker. And the Gabara from a tree
- 26:23called mahogany quantities of vegetable matter with no
- 26:31apparent harm his part like this that dream of don't they like
- 26:39like like when incredible guest actors dive in stock to this is
- 26:44football 01? Yeah.
- 26:46Yeah. I mean I I've is watching season
- 26:5124 boxset recently, which is come out and they will talk
- 26:55about I stars and like how many actors can act in something like
- 27:00paradise? Turns like there are not got
- 27:03who's the only show where you can do something like that.
- 27:05You can take a cannibal. You know.
- 27:07I like, you know, like what I wish there was no other show
- 27:11where Georgina hail could get away with her performance in the
- 27:15happiness Patrol. I know of life.
- 27:17Like today's handyman is you know it's like it's amazing or
- 27:24is it but cross that line and you're a dead man, it's great.
- 27:35And I think, I think we looked Doctor Who for these high-end
- 27:39fullness is up and I know there's a subset of founding
- 27:42that doesn't like on the tall and they want every story to be
- 27:45like the mind of evil or ambassador's of death.
- 27:48Or I think it's like else's very serious, a remembrance of the
- 27:52Daleks maybe, you know, like where it's all played very
- 27:55naturalistically. Services of that work but Doctor
- 27:58Who classic who is more like this?
- 28:00I think than like that. Oh, absolutely.
- 28:02And also, I always think if you were an actor in that situation,
- 28:06you would not want to play something like you couldn't play
- 28:10The Collector stray, you just couldn't because it would be
- 28:13wrong, even the collectors gay know as it know.
- 28:17I know I know. I'm tired but you know you
- 28:22couldn't play that straight because it just wouldn't work
- 28:26and it's the same with someone like my response has increased
- 28:28from the pier, which I love that performance so much, but that's
- 28:32easily That season is just loaded with great performances,
- 28:36isn't it? Oh, no, they've got a really
- 28:40perfect gun. She's got uh, cheek death.
- 28:43That's pretty. Did you kill him?
- 28:46Was it a stun gun? She's knocking about left.
- 28:53I want this quarter could have been an assistant.
- 28:55I wonder if he was ever considered to be an assistant.
- 28:57The there's a fun game to be played there you know of
- 29:00assistance that could have been. So I feel like we should do our
- 29:04top 30. I've got it already because come
- 29:08on Jane Hamptons from The Awakening Awakening and Jana.
- 29:13Why the hell Paula James didn't carry on hang on.
- 29:15That's pretty at the same. Come on.
- 29:19Jacob what about the other life of her?
- 29:22Because she was amazing, is what narus Hughes.
- 29:24Oh yeah, she was just poke a bear will read.
- 29:27Do you know what Davis and needed?
- 29:28Another companion, didn't they? Yeah.
- 29:30And so, did Tom Baker? Imagine Beatrix labor being a
- 29:33companion. Oh my God.
- 29:34But you know who? My ultimate could have been a
- 29:36companion laws. God therefore it but Tom Baker
- 29:41had to stay on another season. Aunt.
- 29:43Vanessa and Tom Baker. You're your Father's Farm on,
- 29:51Gallifrey was hardly the Outback doctor and neither is this
- 29:56matter. I could, I mean, I could also
- 29:59much I could imagine that. That would be amazing.
- 30:04But then I think every McNally in the Twin dilemma I should
- 30:07have stayed on, he was quite dishing us to me.
- 30:11Super dishy, he filled out of it later years.
- 30:14But have you ever listened to the commentary for that ice is
- 30:18one of the best? Oh yeah, it's because during
- 30:20episode 3. So I have been told by some
- 30:23people, this story is not exactly a fan favorite, why do
- 30:27you think that is? And then and then fucking messed
- 30:31or appears on the screen or by side and hand wavy look.
- 30:36Well, That was occurring in the summer makers.
- 30:41There's some boobs on a wall, that's not good set and say
- 31:03oh yeah the the sanitary product.
- 31:06Is it Sanitary products? Or is it what is it?
- 31:08No, I'm shaving in it. Saving it because it's wobbling,
- 31:16very precariously. All this has got one of my
- 31:19favorite lines in this scene. What's that when it comes up
- 31:26call them? I think this is a fucking cheek.
- 31:29They sent him off to get the money.
- 31:31He's come back with a money and then they shove a poker in his
- 31:33face. Yeah.
- 31:34And so do with us either what I do Do is, what is strange is in
- 31:44a minute. The decision is made within the
- 31:47script that they suddenly just follow the doctor so they're
- 31:50threatening him here and then he's like, you know, you know,
- 31:53we can do it. This is the line I love.
- 31:56The Tom has Once Upon a Time. How do I hold on?
- 32:01Once upon a time. There were three sisters!
- 32:03No! Sorry!
- 32:04I got the wrong. I'm sorry.
- 32:06I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 32:07I was waiting to find out how that was the most memorable
- 32:09life. No no it's just something
- 32:13Robert. Holmes needs the rebels to be
- 32:15fighting the system. So they go from the doctor makes
- 32:18one rousing speech, they kind of go rude and then suddenly,
- 32:21they're on inside and then they're off.
- 32:23Yeah shit. Don't know if it would be that
- 32:25simple. I wonder if it's, if it's a been
- 32:28a six part of, they might have done a bit more, that's doing
- 32:31this with drag out for six. About innovation of time.
- 32:36Does any old look at the shop? Now, the camera panning around
- 32:39the corridor. I think this is a really nice
- 32:41shot. Hang on.
- 32:41Yeah, so this is what I mean, it's Photoshop.
- 32:44And you know what? It's like, teasing, look.
- 32:46You're going to see Louise Jameson in for what we turn this
- 32:49corner. No, look, I don't want to be
- 32:53that. That person that every time the
- 32:54waters on screen, I'm saying and how beautiful she is because how
- 32:58fucking sex is, so she is gorgeous.
- 33:00No, she is good. She is good.
- 33:01That, that Trader that she did for the Blu-ray.
- 33:04For season 14, I would put that's not how beautiful is she
- 33:08now? Like, some people like grow into
- 33:13their looks and some people had them all along and always
- 33:16Jameson. The thing is, is she pays
- 33:22accident? That's it.
- 33:23We've made it. Yeah.
- 33:26What was the end of she pairs acting talent and looks, She's
- 33:33devastating shift. And I've promised we'd go out on
- 33:38a song. So, here we go.
- 33:41You ready? I might oh, okay, David.
- 33:44If this episode goes out, you know what, we're going to be,
- 33:47don't you? Go on.
- 33:50I'm scared popular. We're gonna be popular.
- 33:55How does an expert go? But I don't know.
- 33:58I'm sorry, I let you down. David oi very, very popular.
- 34:05Like me, there is styling Mumsy and popsicle my dear oven.
- 34:12Oh no, I've gone to another song.
- 34:13I'm literally doing the whole of wicked.
- 34:15I'm so so one-man show. Okay, but there's one day, you
- 34:18will know. It's time to try Defying
- 34:24Gravity. I don't know what I'm going to
- 34:25do. William Shatner, just talk here.
- 34:27Okay, Defying Gravity Gravity. It's time to add the rest of the
- 34:32words, physically, but look there's no, I can't remember the
- 34:38words over. And on that bombshell, join us
- 34:41for episode 3. Hakuna Matata do do, do do do.
- 34:45What a wonderful phrase.
