- 4:38Speaker 2: I was having Mendela effect. I don't know.
- 4:41Speaker 4: The back and forth is so confusing, no wonder everyone's
- 4:44Speaker 4: trying to figure out what's.

- 4:54Speaker 4: National Treasure movie vibe guy. He says that he found
- 4:58Speaker 4: traces of lost treasure in Sant Augustine and he's allegedly
- 5:03Speaker 4: in these caves in Sant Augustine trying to figure out
- 5:06Speaker 4: if it sounds.

- 6:22Speaker 5: It's I just when it rains. It's like my favorite
- 6:24Speaker 5: thing that it's awful. I know, but it's so funny.
- 6:29Speaker 2: There's repentance involved here somewhere.
- 6:31Speaker 5: I said I'm sorry. I said I need to apologize,
- 6:34Speaker 5: not to the person.
- 6:34Speaker 4: This is not the type of the room where your
- 6:37Speaker 4: confessions are kept between John and I.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You know, these microphones were married.
- 6:42Speaker 3: You know, if you were in my truck and we
- 6:43Speaker 3: did as you know, you'd be laughing. I'd probably be
- 6:45Speaker 3: hiding my face on the floorboard.
- 6:47Speaker 2: But would you be laughing Megan tell the truth?
- 6:51Speaker 3: Yeah, probably because but I was so bad.
- 6:53Speaker 4: If it was someone who was gonna be outside the
- 6:55Speaker 4: rest of the day, like a homeless person, and I'd
- 6:57Speaker 4: be like froggy drager saw.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Them I dress or something. Who was it look like
- 7:01Speaker 2: somebody that was jogging. It was a younger. It was
- 7:03Speaker 2: a younger person. I would not do it. Older person
- 7:07Speaker 2: coming to it.
- 7:08Speaker 4: They actually got outside instead of playing on their game
- 7:11Speaker 4: game boxes and you're splashing.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm telling them go inside.
- 7:15Speaker 2: So for whoever it was, you were standing on the
- 7:16Speaker 2: side in those blue shorts.
- 7:18Speaker 5: I apologize, Yeah, towel somewhere close by. It works good
- 7:23Speaker 5: in the dres lifted truck though. Man, you just go
- 7:26Speaker 5: zooming right through hydro plane or anything, just a wall.

- 7:35Speaker 5: I know, see you outside. Oh well get you. I'll
- 7:39Speaker 5: get you quick check on the Mega's Music City minute.
- 7:43Speaker 5: I just I need to apologize. I feel a little
- 7:45Speaker 5: better now. I hope you do a little bit.

- 7:50Speaker 4: Thomas Rhett he shared the reason him and his wife
- 7:53Speaker 4: Lauren named their new baby Brave Elijah.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I was wondering. It's really unique, and it all.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Comes down to they were having a glass of wine
- 8:01Speaker 4: and it was Brave wine. So they said, why don't
- 8:04Speaker 4: we name our child that, regardless if it's a girl
- 8:07Speaker 4: or boy. Then when they were looking at the middle name,
- 8:10Speaker 4: I guess Thomas Rhett was reading about Elijah in the Bible.
- 8:15Speaker 3: So they said, let's combine.
- 8:16Speaker 2: It wine and there you go.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's Brave Elijah.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Interesting at least they you know, they weren't drinking Naomi.
- 8:26Speaker 2: That's that's a different name too.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Barefoot Red Clay Straight lead singer Brandon Coleman and his
- 8:33Speaker 4: wife are now parents. They have a new baby girl

- 8:48Speaker 4: the most important song that they've ever made.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It's one of those kind of serious songs for sure.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It just talks about if you're going through something, say
- 8:54Speaker 2: so you know.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yep, that's uh your music city minute.

- 9:06Speaker 2: We don't even know. Well, I mean you don't even know.
- 9:08Speaker 2: You just haven't paid your parking tickets. You got outstanding
- 9:11Speaker 2: things in Alabama.
- 9:12Speaker 5: I know.
- 9:12Speaker 4: I'm trying really hard to get it all together, but man,
- 9:15Speaker 4: it is real hard.
- 9:16Speaker 5: And then you said yesterday you're rolling around with like
- 9:18Speaker 5: seven different id's.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they're not valid.
- 9:21Speaker 5: But and then all the other things, they're not found,

- 9:34Speaker 4: believe you're from Missouri. I'm like, oh, actually, looks it
- 9:38Speaker 4: is just nostalgic.
- 9:39Speaker 2: People are getting concerned. You got an email for Tina.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I said, I hope Barney Fight's not listening. He'll be
- 9:44Speaker 2: waiting in the parking lot to give that ticket. And
- 9:47Speaker 2: then we were talking about yeah yeah, and then she
- 9:51Speaker 2: added because we were talking about girl math when she said,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I also think Jaea is doing girl math. How can
- 9:56Speaker 2: you get that much in debt and not realize until
- 9:58Speaker 2: you have to go up that much at the time.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Good job, Tina, and thank you for the email. And yes,

- 11:00Speaker 2: Consider this your verbal warning?
- 11:02Speaker 3: I am really trying.
- 11:04Speaker 6: I was just as soon as I heard multiple IDs,

- 11:26Speaker 6: it out. It was just they saw it and they
- 11:28Speaker 6: were like, uh, pull it out, ma'am.
- 11:31Speaker 3: So I get it. Be careful. Well, I don't want
- 11:34Speaker 3: to go to jail.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Thank you for calling it. Maybe maybe Megan can get
- 11:37Speaker 5: rid of some of those extra IDs.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Okay, maybe I can get my taxes worked out to
- 11:43Speaker 4: documents in order.
- 11:45Speaker 6: Yeah, just stick that fake, fake license or thing in
- 11:49Speaker 6: your window for a while, your temporary tag.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Yeah, just change the date on it every time it expires.
- 11:56Speaker 3: An adult over here, I'm trying.

- 14:45Speaker 2: I don't sit around bragging him all the time. But
- 14:48Speaker 2: his vocabulary, you know, it's funny anybody who's got a
- 14:51Speaker 2: two year old in their life, or maybe a three
- 14:52Speaker 2: year old, I mean different. They kids start at different times.
- 14:55Speaker 2: And his words used to almost fit. He used to
- 15:00Speaker 2: be Papa, you know. Now it's public's and he's saying
- 15:02Speaker 2: it water used to be yum yum for some reason,
- 15:05Speaker 2: and now he goes water and it comes out of nowhere.
- 15:09Speaker 2: He went from like one hundred words to six thousand
- 15:11Speaker 2: words all of a sudden. Nice. It was like this
- 15:13Speaker 2: curve and it's like but it's hard to understand. It's
- 15:16Speaker 2: hard to get used to the new. It is all
- 15:18Speaker 2: the new words being correct, and I still like the
- 15:20Speaker 2: words that used to use that were wrong, like caydaan.
- 15:23Speaker 2: My son is twenty three. He used to call ketchup
- 15:26Speaker 2: chip it. So he's twenty three years old.
- 15:28Speaker 5: If we go somewhere and get food and he's with us,
- 15:30Speaker 5: I'll say, hey, you want to chep it?
- 15:32Speaker 3: Oh? Now he just ignores it, right, He's just just
- 15:35Speaker 3: like whatever.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And that's that we true. We had the same thing
- 15:37Speaker 2: with the cracker barrel. My daughter called it crackleberry for
- 15:41Speaker 2: so long that we still will call it cerry. Yeah.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Oh, your grandson is never going to outlive Tardar. That
- 15:47Speaker 4: song that's gonna yeah.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I know he'd probably sing Darlin. Now, I don't want
- 15:54Speaker 2: to hear that song with him singing darling because it's
- 15:56Speaker 2: dar dar and we'll always beat dar dark. But that's crazy, man,
- 15:59Speaker 2: that there's these times and the kids and the vocabulary.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You just all of a sudden get amazed all over
- 16:05Speaker 2: again at how fast they learn.
- 16:06Speaker 5: This reminds me that when I use words at home,
- 16:08Speaker 5: that list of things are like out of the ordinary words.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Huh, she calls me vocabulary.
- 16:13Speaker 5: That's funny.
- 16:14Speaker 2: What was what was the last word you use? I
- 16:16Speaker 2: used apropos. She's like, okay, vocabulary.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I never even heard of that one, so I
- 16:23Speaker 3: believe I hadn't.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Heard that word before me either. I like that word.
- 16:25Speaker 2: That's a good word.
- 16:26Speaker 3: That's a good joke though. Vocabult that when somebody uses
- 16:30Speaker 3: a word and they're trying, you know, just yeah, okay,
- 16:32Speaker 3: guys we used to call them are two dollars word
- 16:34Speaker 3: or something?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Yes, exactly. The cab Larry Larry, All right, let's.
- 16:37Speaker 5: Get into Maggie three on a Wednesday.
- 16:39Speaker 2: What's it looking like. Let's check her vocabu Larry Well.
- 16:42Speaker 4: JTA is looking into self driving cars for their local transportation.
- 16:48Speaker 3: It's in the early stages.
- 16:49Speaker 4: They're just kind of gathering up different proposals, but they
- 16:52Speaker 4: are considering it, which kind of blew my mind. Sing
- 16:56Speaker 4: Out Loud Festival is now accepting applications from musicians and
- 17:00Speaker 4: also venues. If you want to be a part of
- 17:02Speaker 4: this year's local artist showcase, apply before May first.
- 17:06Speaker 2: And they've always had a local showcases, which is great.
- 17:09Speaker 2: You know they normally we'll wrap it up with a
- 17:11Speaker 2: big headliner, but now they have moved that till next spring.
- 17:14Speaker 2: But they're still going to have this sing out loud
- 17:16Speaker 2: festival for the locals. And this is great.
- 17:18Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 17:19Speaker 4: And if you want to be honored this year at
- 17:21Speaker 4: a Jaguar game, they are taking applications for the national anthem.
- 17:26Speaker 3: A bell ringer. What do you do?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so they ring it's the first bell to.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Be Oh that one? Okay, okay, and I want to
- 17:34Speaker 3: do that. That would be fun. And also the veteran
- 17:38Speaker 3: of the game too.
- 17:39Speaker 5: The three of us could do this. I'll ring the bell,
- 17:41Speaker 5: you could sing, I'll do the national anthem.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And there's she's the veteran, the thing.
- 17:46Speaker 5: That takes the least amount of talent and effort.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I got it ring the bell with all your steps.
- 17:51Speaker 3: You can run around, Yes, you can sing, okay, and
- 17:54Speaker 3: you're a veteran. Yeah, look at that.
- 17:56Speaker 2: So at least they got the bell. I can ring.
- 17:57Speaker 2: We got them covered, and we get Jackson to Ville
- 18:00Speaker 2: to come in here and offer it to us.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Will be probably not I would refuse that.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yes, Jackson Dvil has to be there. He hugs the
- 18:06Speaker 2: veteran of the game. I think so.
- 18:08Speaker 5: No he doesn't, does he really h of course he
- 18:10Speaker 5: shakes his hand, hugs him everything.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Three things you need to know while I go hide again.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Oh, have we got a pop quiz coming up?
- 18:18Speaker 5: Need callers nine and ten right down, nine oh four, three, eight,
- 18:21Speaker 5: eight thirty six, ninety nine, tickets to bulls bands and
- 18:24Speaker 5: Barrel's gonna see Dylan Scopper for.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Pop quiz A couple of minutes away Country ninety nine
- 18:28Speaker 2: one wq I K Good morning the Big Show with Froggy,
- 18:31Speaker 2: John and Meghan. So, Megan, when are you thrown out
- 18:33Speaker 2: the first pitch up the Yes roam game next year
- 18:35Speaker 2: tomorrow week from Muller?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:38Speaker 5: So how much baseball like acumen do you have? Have
- 18:43Speaker 5: you played a lot of baseball? Little baseball? No baseball.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I played softball and when I was younger, and
- 18:50Speaker 4: then I played in softball adult leagues for the past
- 18:56Speaker 4: two years.
- 18:57Speaker 3: But I grew up with a base old dad, you
- 19:00Speaker 3: know you did.
- 19:01Speaker 4: So I feel like by default, when you're a baseball
- 19:04Speaker 4: guy in a past life and you've got three daughters,
- 19:07Speaker 4: you're gonna know how to play.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Okay, that's yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 5: I got got a kid on my street. His mom
- 19:11Speaker 5: has offered his services to help you. Oh his name
- 19:15Speaker 5: is Dylan, and he's a baseball player. Okay, but he
- 19:18Speaker 5: knows how to throw and pitch and do all that stuff.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Because if I if I'm mistaken, like if I'm not mistaken,
- 19:23Speaker 5: when we throw it out, John, you are standing on
- 19:26Speaker 5: the front of the mound, you know, on the very top.
- 19:27Speaker 5: You're not you're not on the rubber, but you're you're honest,
- 19:30Speaker 5: So you're going to be throwing down okay, because you're
- 19:33Speaker 5: a little higher. You definitely don't want to throw it
- 19:36Speaker 5: in the dirt.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't want to do that. That would be embarrassing.
- 19:39Speaker 5: But we want you to throw good. So maybe maybe
- 19:41Speaker 5: my buddy, uh, little Dylan can come in here.
- 19:43Speaker 2: There you go.
- 19:44Speaker 5: He is. If I had to guess, Dylan's probably fourteen, Okay, Yeah,
- 19:53Speaker 5: I guess I might need Dylan to come out of
- 19:55Speaker 5: the bullpen for me. I'm doing it sometime in June.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Dylan might make what it used to be.
- 20:00Speaker 3: A lot further than you think it is.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It's sixty feet six inches from the actual rubber. So
- 20:05Speaker 2: you're throwing fifty something.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, so you don't realize.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And you're going and the downhill part is the part
- 20:10Speaker 2: that might get you.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You can warm up on flat ground and it's okay,
- 20:13Speaker 2: and then you're coming from up top and next thing
- 20:16Speaker 2: you know, I mean, six out of seven times or
- 20:18Speaker 2: eight times I've ever thrown this out, I think that's
- 20:20Speaker 2: one time I did hit the dirt. One time I
- 20:23Speaker 2: I one hopped it.
- 20:24Speaker 5: And we know the guy that sucatium announcer, he will,
- 20:27Speaker 5: he'll rally up a little.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah. He used to be in my room and there
- 20:29Speaker 2: used to be my roommates, so he really gives me.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Oh that's funny.
- 20:32Speaker 2: He'll give you a hard time to be throwing the dirt.
- 20:34Speaker 4: I have a good arm, but not very good aim.
- 20:36Speaker 4: So if you're around Froggy, you might need to wear
- 20:38Speaker 4: a mask.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Well, you got eight you got eight days to get
- 20:41Speaker 2: it straight.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Okay, I got it.
- 20:43Speaker 5: And then you really do take a picture of his
- 20:45Speaker 5: campy in South pat I'm not doing that, Yeah, that's part.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Of the deal. I'm not I'm not doing that.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Let them embrace.
- 20:50Speaker 4: It's all in comt I told that man that I
- 20:52Speaker 4: wasn't gonna be He could see I wasn't going.
- 20:55Speaker 3: To be doing that.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Oh, scampy could see you are not going to be
- 20:57Speaker 2: doing that when he was standing there or waving. Now
- 21:00Speaker 2: we brought it in here. It was a little it
- 21:01Speaker 2: was a little weird. It was weird.
- 21:03Speaker 3: You guys even admitted he was kind of creepy looking
- 21:05Speaker 3: up close. We did buy you food after that, right, Yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 3: you did, right, Yeah, John did. Froggy didn't do anything.
- 21:14Speaker 6: Froggy.
- 21:15Speaker 2: If we mess that, you did, Okay.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Whenever, whenever I do something, then I end up buying.
- 21:20Speaker 2: You foods because you stole all the donuts.
- 21:23Speaker 3: It was an accident, No, it wasn't. I looked for you, Okay,
- 21:27Speaker 3: So what about I didn't see Kara.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I'm not asking this question to you first just because
- 21:32Speaker 2: you're a woman. It's just because it's the first question
- 21:34Speaker 2: and you were in first. What percentage of women say
- 21:38Speaker 2: they have started an argument by shushing their partner, Chris,
- 21:44Speaker 2: that number higher or lower, lower, just by a little
- 21:48Speaker 2: sixty sixty one. The forty line. Chris went in the
- 21:55Speaker 2: right direction. You get that point. Good job, Chris. What
- 21:59Speaker 2: is that numbers say about Kara? Though? The number? She said?
- 22:02Speaker 5: Hey Carash, all right, Chris, this one is yours.
- 22:09Speaker 2: He's recent number one, hit the longest record for the
- 22:12Speaker 2: longest time it took to hit number one. Justin Moore?
- 22:16Speaker 2: How old is Justin Moore?
- 22:18Speaker 5: Chris? Thirty five?
- 22:20Speaker 2: Kara? Is he older or younger?
- 22:22Speaker 3: Older?
- 22:23Speaker 2: He is?
- 22:23Speaker 3: Forty two?
- 22:24Speaker 2: Forty two? All right, all right, it's tied. Time for
- 22:28Speaker 2: a tie breaker. If you know the answer to this question,
- 22:31Speaker 2: shout your name. What is the I'll give you a
- 22:34Speaker 2: multiple choice, but if you know it, jump in. Okay.
- 22:37Speaker 2: What is the state capital of Georgia? Is it?
- 22:40Speaker 4: Kara?
- 22:41Speaker 3: Kara?
- 22:43Speaker 2: It is Atlantis?
- 22:44Speaker 5: Yeah, question the trick question. And you did a great job, Chris.
- 22:49Speaker 2: We appreciate you playing, but.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Care is going to be our winner today. Good job,
- 22:54Speaker 5: Thank you, thank you, Chris.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Is it fifty five?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Jacksonville?
- 22:58Speaker 2: They say it's not polite to talk with your mouthful,
- 23:01Speaker 2: but Tom Parriman just came by and brought the brisket
- 23:03Speaker 2: of heaven.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're all chowing down right now.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Happy Wednesday. The big show Froggy John and Meghan. Then
- 23:10Speaker 2: don't forget around eight thirty, We're going to give you
- 23:11Speaker 2: an opportunity to win a four pack of tickets for
- 23:13Speaker 2: the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp where Megan is going to be
- 23:16Speaker 2: throwing out the first pitch. It is a week from
- 23:18Speaker 2: tomorrow night.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Hanging out with a boy South Paw scam.
- 23:22Speaker 4: No, you do me, but you know if you if
- 23:25Speaker 4: they're your jam, you'll have to go to.
- 23:27Speaker 2: The I'm going to throw out the first pitch.
- 23:29Speaker 5: But I can introduce you to my friend South Paul,
- 23:31Speaker 5: al Paul, I don't think.
- 23:32Speaker 3: That would be necessary, but I appreciate, all right your
- 23:35Speaker 3: effort there.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I just want to get your acclimated to Jacksonville. Hey,
- 23:38Speaker 2: we make it happen. Little surprise attack. Oh you two.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I'm not going to surprise her.
- 23:43Speaker 5: I get Megan in a small room and then have
- 23:46Speaker 5: no Yeah, what is it? That's what will South Paul walk?
- 23:48Speaker 4: Yet with that, I don't trust either of you. Applotting
- 23:52Speaker 4: and the planning that's premeditative.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Is that is true? Look on the right side. If
- 23:58Speaker 2: it happens again, maybe Jona Biden Chick fil a Way.
- 24:00Speaker 2: What do you like from Metro's worth it. I need
- 24:03Speaker 2: to know your go to on Metro diner before we
- 24:05Speaker 2: go any further here. Chicken and waffles is pretty good there.
- 24:07Speaker 3: John's good to go.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Okay, he's already paid time and time again for what
- 24:12Speaker 4: he did. You have done nothing too except try to
- 24:16Speaker 4: plan and plot more right, exactly?
- 24:18Speaker 5: Well, yeah, it's just something exaccurately. I saw the story here,
- 24:22Speaker 5: and John, I thought of you because I know your
- 24:24Speaker 5: son lives on your property. Yes, it says. It feels
- 24:28Speaker 5: more and more like young adults are living at home
- 24:31Speaker 5: with their parents. And if it feels that way, you're
- 24:34Speaker 5: not imagining it. A new report shows that thirty three
- 24:36Speaker 5: percent of Americans between the ages eighteen and thirty four
- 24:40Speaker 5: are still living with mom and dad, the highest levels
- 24:43Speaker 5: ever during the pandemic when everything was shut down or
- 24:46Speaker 5: be moved home fast. But for reference, back in the sixties,
- 24:49Speaker 5: only twenty two percent of young adults lived at home.
- 24:52Speaker 5: And you can guess why. Money, money, The cost of
- 24:55Speaker 5: everything is so expensive. Wages have not kept up. No,
- 24:58Speaker 5: with the cost I saw today, we're watching something. It's
- 25:02Speaker 5: that rent. In Florida, the cost of living has quintupled
- 25:07Speaker 5: in the last decade.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Ray.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Yeah, my friends, they're living with their parents or some
- 25:13Speaker 4: of them siblings.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Is like the normal.
- 25:16Speaker 2: You're getting back to the communal way. And that's what
- 25:17Speaker 2: people did until they got married and then they split off. Yeah,
- 25:20Speaker 2: and that's just that's how it was for the longest time.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Once again, our modern way of thinking is really modern
- 25:25Speaker 2: compared to just even seventy years ago when people did
- 25:28Speaker 2: live at home until they got married.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and I probably wouldn't be too far out of that, but.
- 25:33Speaker 4: I joined the army, and so that opens up different
- 25:37Speaker 4: doors for you to be able to do that.
- 25:39Speaker 3: It does, so, I don't know, I guess take a
- 25:42Speaker 3: visit to Seagle. Say this says.
- 25:44Speaker 5: The top three states that have the most young adults
- 25:47Speaker 5: living at home are New Jersey forty four percent, Connecticut
- 25:50Speaker 5: at forty one, in California thirty nine. And if you noticed,
- 25:53Speaker 5: those three states are probably three of the most expensive.
- 25:55Speaker 2: To live in. That's exactly right. That's what ailed it.
- 25:58Speaker 5: The states were the young adult least likely live at
- 26:01Speaker 5: home North Dakota, Wyoming, South Dakota, where the cost of
- 26:05Speaker 5: living is much.
- 26:06Speaker 2: So much lower.
- 26:07Speaker 5: I'm not sure you'd want to want to live in
- 26:09Speaker 5: North Dakota, Wyoming in South Dakota. However, if you do,
- 26:12Speaker 5: there's a less chance of your kids to living at
- 26:14Speaker 5: home because it's just but it really is as expensive.
- 26:16Speaker 2: We just have not kept up with the cost of goods,
- 26:18Speaker 2: whether it's a home, whether.
- 26:20Speaker 5: It's everything, whether it's a car, groceries, gas, whatever it is,
- 26:24Speaker 5: and not just gas. This last couple of months, while
- 26:25Speaker 5: this while the uh, well you know, the while the
- 26:27Speaker 5: conflicts going on, gas is going to go back down, yep,
- 26:30Speaker 5: but everything else is not. I don't see a major
- 26:33Speaker 5: price correction coming or real estate price correction coming. So
- 26:36Speaker 5: I'm not I'm not exactly sure where we go from here.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I know it because that's where we're going to find
- 26:40Speaker 2: out when the rubber meets the road, about how it's
- 26:43Speaker 2: going to manifest itself where it could crash before we
- 26:46Speaker 2: have to recover. And that's the sad part.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Yes, sometimes you got to go way backwards, Yes, And
- 26:50Speaker 3: I don't have to do that.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I don't want I don't want to see that happen either. No,
- 26:54Speaker 2: not at all.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Yeah, we do have a lot of young adults living home.
- 26:57Speaker 5: So if you're a young adult and thinking, you know what,
- 26:58Speaker 5: I might have to live at home. You're not alone.
- 27:00Speaker 5: And I mean as as a parent who's got a
- 27:02Speaker 5: twenty three year old in college, right, I used to
- 27:05Speaker 5: be of the thought of, yeah, you'll be fine, you
- 27:07Speaker 5: out on your own. I'd give anything to have k
- 27:09Speaker 5: back home. I mean, he's my best friend in the
- 27:11Speaker 5: little world. I'd love to have him back home. But
- 27:13Speaker 5: I know that he wants to go do his own thing,
- 27:15Speaker 5: and I want him to do it's best for him.
- 27:17Speaker 5: But it's one of those the doors always open. He
- 27:20Speaker 5: always lived the door for your kids.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I think so too, so some and there's some parents
- 27:24Speaker 2: who's like, you gotta lock it sometimes because they keep
- 27:26Speaker 2: coming back.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Let's get out. It's get into Megan's three Things. What's
- 27:31Speaker 5: going on on Jacksonville? As my mom calls it web
- 27:34Speaker 5: Nesty when she's joking around.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Not really my mom. She knows how to say Wednesday.
- 27:39Speaker 2: There's some other words she doesn't get right. She'll call
- 27:41Speaker 2: it wednesday, but she's.
- 27:43Speaker 4: But if you want to be honored this year at
- 27:46Speaker 4: a Jaguar game, they're taking applications for people to sing
- 27:51Speaker 4: the national anthem, to be a bell ringer, and also veterans.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Well, dude, and we're a one stop shop. I'll ring
- 27:57Speaker 5: the bell and you're a veteran.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Yeah, we got We've got to put our applications in
- 28:01Speaker 4: before they close.
- 28:02Speaker 2: We need TOA.
- 28:04Speaker 4: JTA is looking into self driving cars, and this is
- 28:08Speaker 4: really surprising to me. Imagine getting on public transportation and
- 28:10Speaker 4: it's a self driving vehicle. But they're still in the
- 28:13Speaker 4: early proposal stages. So this isn't something that's gonna happen overnight.
- 28:19Speaker 4: They were trying that, Yeah, a couple of months ago.
- 28:21Speaker 5: And there's way Moos all over the place. That Waymo's
- 28:23Speaker 5: are in Miami, there Davis are all over the place
- 28:25Speaker 5: in major cities. Yeah, And people say, oh, I saw
- 28:27Speaker 5: there was an accident. If they published, well, they do
- 28:30Speaker 5: publish every accident in these autonomous cars.
- 28:34Speaker 2: You hear about everyone.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Yeah, if they published every accident from a human driven car,
- 28:38Speaker 5: it never stopped.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah. You, so your odds are still much better in
- 28:41Speaker 2: one of these cars than they are to human driven
- 28:43Speaker 2: they're showing about the lives they're saving. I know it's
- 28:46Speaker 2: like a Tesla ad, but they're saying the lives that
- 28:48Speaker 2: are being saved. Sometimes you don't even know because it's
- 28:50Speaker 2: avoiding a crash all together. I mean, and that's what's crazy.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I think in the long run that's going to be
- 28:56Speaker 2: probably the best way we go.
- 28:57Speaker 5: These cars have got eight ten to twelve cameras on.
- 28:59Speaker 5: That's eight ten twelve sets of eyes looking all over
- 29:01Speaker 5: the place that a human being can't do.
- 29:03Speaker 2: And not looking at their radio or not looking at
- 29:05Speaker 2: their phone, not at all. They're looking on the road.
- 29:07Speaker 2: What a concept. Tiger Woods.
- 29:09Speaker 4: I'm the sing out LU Festivals accepting applications for musicians
- 29:13Speaker 4: and venues. If you want to get involved in the
- 29:16Speaker 4: local artist showcase, get your application in by May.
- 29:20Speaker 3: First three things you need to know.
- 29:21Speaker 2: I think we can apply for that too. We can
- 29:23Speaker 2: be a trio.
- 29:23Speaker 3: We could come on, that's right, you'll be the singer.
- 29:27Speaker 3: I can be the clapper.
- 29:29Speaker 2: What am I gonna do?
- 29:29Speaker 3: You want to do that thing? The one you shake
- 29:31Speaker 3: your hand?
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yep?
- 29:32Speaker 3: Or triangle?
- 29:33Speaker 2: You can go to bang a triangle? Okay, we're there, Okay,
- 29:36Speaker 2: all right, rehearsals at eight. Ain't a bad life. It's
- 29:39Speaker 2: Thomas Rhet, Jordan Davis, Froggy John and Meghan the big
- 29:42Speaker 2: show running non stop right now, slowing down for opportunity
- 29:45Speaker 2: for you to win a four pack of tickets to
- 29:46Speaker 2: the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrip, specifically a week from tomorrow night
- 29:50Speaker 2: from Military Appreciation Game, and our very own veteran Megan
- 29:54Speaker 2: Terry will be throwing out the first pitch. I'm excited
- 29:56Speaker 2: for you.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I'm excited too. This is so cool.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Yes, it is so the wind though, you got to
- 30:00Speaker 5: know the lyrics to this song. Meghan likes to make
- 30:03Speaker 5: it a little tough in today's I think it's gonna
- 30:06Speaker 5: be a little difficult today.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I do too. I wouldn't get this.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Okay, what are you?
- 30:09Speaker 4: Thirty eight's making the world go round? That's it, that's it.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Songs how old in the last ten years?
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah, last six years?
- 30:20Speaker 2: Is it?
- 30:21Speaker 3: Okay?
- 30:21Speaker 2: Okay? This my last great good morning, It's the Big
- 30:24Speaker 2: Show with Froggy, John and Megan. Good to be with you.
- 30:26Speaker 5: So with everything going up in the price of goods
- 30:29Speaker 5: right now, I just saw this story. Mommy California went
- 30:32Speaker 5: to the mailbox and got her cell phone bill. She said,
- 30:37Speaker 5: normally it was three hundred.
- 30:38Speaker 2: And eighty five dollars a month. That was normal for
- 30:39Speaker 2: the family cell phone bill for the entire month. Sure,
- 30:42Speaker 2: she opens it up, it.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Was five eighty five dollars thousand.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Five thousand, some type of billing mistake. Sure nope. Turns
- 30:53Speaker 2: out our teenager had met.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Someone online while playing a roblox and they wanted to chat.
- 31:00Speaker 5: What the team didn't know is that she was calling
- 31:02Speaker 5: an international phone number and all those minutes of talking
- 31:05Speaker 5: were adding a fast Her mom turned to Reddit's personal
- 31:08Speaker 5: finance community to events sharing her posts that she doesn't
- 31:11Speaker 5: even have five thousand and savings and she feels defeated.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Redditors have her backfill in the comment sections, and people
- 31:16Speaker 5: have posted some money to try to help them pay
- 31:18Speaker 5: for it. But that's the thing now, is that you
- 31:21Speaker 5: make these phone calls. You know, I remember when long
- 31:24Speaker 5: distance wasn't free exactly, this is the crazy thing. Maybe
- 31:27Speaker 5: Megan would go, what tell me what? Yes, she used
- 31:30Speaker 5: to have to pay for long distance.
- 31:31Speaker 3: But what is considered long distance?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Used to it was a different area code. Oh, don't joke, listen.
- 31:35Speaker 2: They used to used to cost a quarter to call
- 31:37Speaker 2: from Mandarin to rach Park. I'm old enough to remember that.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Seriously.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, certainly if you would have of an area code
- 31:45Speaker 2: you remember had the dial in area code you were
- 31:47Speaker 2: paying for long distance? You had they had nights and weekends,
- 31:50Speaker 2: plans and stuff that.
- 31:51Speaker 3: You can remember.
- 31:53Speaker 5: That stuff you here from North Carolina, or we had
- 31:56Speaker 5: to call family back home in North Carolina.
- 31:57Speaker 2: We called them at night. It was cheaper. It was
- 32:00Speaker 2: cheaper to call. Yes, that's why nights and weekends service
- 32:02Speaker 2: is great plan. If you can have long distance for
- 32:04Speaker 2: nights and weekends for only so much. It was crazy
- 32:07Speaker 2: to think now and now it's just obsolete.
- 32:09Speaker 3: That's wild. I didn't know about that. I didn't know.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Like when I was growing up, it was nights and
- 32:14Speaker 4: weekends was free texting, so kind of the same thing.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Five thousand dollars cell phone bill. That's a lot from
- 32:22Speaker 5: international calls. That's crazy. Got to watch what your kids
- 32:25Speaker 5: are doing online.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You hear some data charges may apply, right apply, that's
- 32:30Speaker 2: the application right there.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Scary too. You don't know who your kids talking too
- 32:33Speaker 3: off roadblock.
- 32:34Speaker 2: That's the scary thing. We had a funny thing when
- 32:36Speaker 2: we first got our phones, and it was very rudimentary
- 32:38Speaker 2: the early two thousands where it wasn't it was pre
- 32:41Speaker 2: iPhone for sure, but you could get like sports scores
- 32:44Speaker 2: on your phone. Some data charges may apply, and they did.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Our daughter. Our daughter told us, no, it's free for
- 32:51Speaker 2: the first thirty days. So here are true confession. We
- 32:54Speaker 2: were in church, like on a good Friday service, and
- 32:56Speaker 2: my wife was checking the scores of the basketball game
- 33:00Speaker 2: in church, and so she's looking to see and so
- 33:03Speaker 2: it was an updated. She kept getting an update. Oh,
- 33:05Speaker 2: oh we're down four, Oh we're up for So she
- 33:07Speaker 2: wanted to make sure it was a close game.
- 33:09Speaker 3: And then it costs you seventy dollars or something.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, like Manda.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Free.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Yeah, just be careful. Not everything is free calling. No,
- 33:22Speaker 5: it's a check on your three things. You mean, you know, Megan,
- 33:25Speaker 5: what's going on.
- 33:26Speaker 4: JTA might be getting into the self driving cars. They're
- 33:30Speaker 4: looking at different proposals and weighing it as an option.
- 33:34Speaker 4: I just think it'd be so neat to get on
- 33:36Speaker 4: a bus like a city bus, public transportation and it's
- 33:39Speaker 4: just driving you around.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Yeah, drive on ninety five this afternoon, and you know what,
- 33:42Speaker 5: I think that might be safer.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, not ninety five everything real self driving car.
- 33:47Speaker 4: We've got opportunities for people who are interested in being
- 33:51Speaker 4: a local artist showcase. If you are a venue or
- 33:55Speaker 4: you're a musician, consider sing Out Loud Festival. May first
- 33:59Speaker 4: is the deadline for applications, so get on that.
- 34:02Speaker 3: And if you are a singer, you want to sing
- 34:05Speaker 3: the national.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Anthem, maybe you want to ring the bell or be
- 34:09Speaker 4: an honored veteran of a Jaguars game.
- 34:12Speaker 3: They're also taking applications for those things.
- 34:14Speaker 5: I think we could do that. I can ring the bell.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd be a good bell ringer.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah. We're kind of rethinking our thing about the Sing
- 34:21Speaker 2: Out Loud Festival because we were going to get Froggy
- 34:23Speaker 2: a triangle.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think we should.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Upon further review, I don't know if you should give
- 34:28Speaker 2: you a triangle. And Meghan said, I'll give you a sponge.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It doesn't make it any noise.
- 34:31Speaker 3: A sponge and a washboard, so you have something to
- 34:33Speaker 3: do and keep you busy. But maybe you can do
- 34:35Speaker 3: some cleaning while you're there. That would be great.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I get treated here. They might even pay you for
- 34:39Speaker 2: that tree ninety nine one wq I K. It's the
- 34:42Speaker 2: big show. We'll see you tomorrow morning. And before we
- 34:44Speaker 2: go though things we learned this morning.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Meghan, stay away from Froggy if you're walking outside during
- 34:49Speaker 4: a storm and he's driving by you, because he will
- 34:52Speaker 4: splash you and laugh in.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Point, maybe Froggy.
- 34:55Speaker 5: I learned that Megan, we're going to get a teenager
- 34:58Speaker 5: to teach her how to throw the ball across homeplate
- 35:00Speaker 5: when she The
- 35:01Speaker 1: Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Sarah, Here for You,
