An ancient loggerhead sea turtle, nicknamed Timmy and estimated to be 70-80 years old, was rescued off the Florida Keys after boaters noticed her unusual swimming and alerted the Coast Guard. Now at The Turtle Hospital in Marathon, she’s receiving fluids, vitamins, and rest as staff run blood tests to pinpoint her condition. Though her exact size remains unclear, Timmy’s calm demeanor since arrival is a hopeful sign.
