- 0:00Speaker 1: John Jaye Rich a minute to when it's coming up
- 0:02Speaker 1: right now, I'm telling you. Love Island came out yesterday.
- 0:06Speaker 1: A new documentary came out this morning that I believe
- 0:10Speaker 1: Kyle's already watched. Did it You watch the whole thing?
- 0:13Speaker 2: I did.
- 0:14Speaker 3: It's Michael Jackson the Verdict.
- 0:16Speaker 4: So the documentary's three parts, and it focuses on his
- 0:21Speaker 4: try like child molestation charges in nineteen ninety three and
- 0:25Speaker 4: then again in two thousand and five, and it shows
- 0:28Speaker 4: the point of view of both the prosecution and the defense.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And it's like I had expected.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Going into this because of the success of the Michael
- 0:36Speaker 4: Jackson movie and how that was so focused on, like
- 0:40Speaker 4: I guess, rebuilding his image and his legacy, that this
- 0:42Speaker 4: was going to be the same thing.
- 0:44Speaker 3: And it was not.
- 0:45Speaker 5: It was like tear down.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I think it was like very much convincing you that
- 0:49Speaker 3: he really did it.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Oh really, he was acquitted on thirteen counts.
- 0:55Speaker 5: That's true too, Huh. I forgot about that. How's that work?
- 0:58Speaker 5: Do they say that in the documentary?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:00Speaker 4: It shows like jury members and it shows like the
- 1:02Speaker 4: different sides, It shows people that worked for him, It
- 1:04Speaker 4: shows how the defense kind of like I guess for
- 1:08Speaker 4: each witness that the.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Prosecution brought forward. That was pretty damning evidence.
- 1:12Speaker 4: It shows how the defense like used things in their
- 1:15Speaker 4: lives against them to discredit them.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I saw.
- 1:18Speaker 3: It was pretty fascinating.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I just remember back of the day that it was
- 1:21Speaker 1: like whoever it was like their dad, the dad of
- 1:23Speaker 1: one of these was like a scam artist and they
- 1:25Speaker 1: run that up. Oh they did read it up. Yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I remember, I remember that. Do they show him dancing
- 1:29Speaker 1: on the roof of the car?
- 1:29Speaker 3: They do?
- 1:29Speaker 5: Well, that weird, that's weird.
- 1:31Speaker 4: And that was interesting because his lawyer was saying that
- 1:34Speaker 4: he did that because he asked his lawyer, how does.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Somebody look when they're leaving court and they're.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Guilty, And the lawyer said, well, they're usually like sunken
- 1:42Speaker 4: down and like, you know, hiding their face or whatever.
- 1:45Speaker 4: And then he said, how does a winner look and
- 1:48Speaker 4: like or a person who's innocent who knows they're going
- 1:50Speaker 4: to win, confident out like I guess, dance on the
- 1:54Speaker 4: car cases.
- 1:57Speaker 2: People, Well, you know, like if you think about Michael Jackson,
- 2:00Speaker 2: because this is hard, This is hard for me because
- 2:01Speaker 2: I love that music so so much that I will
- 2:04Speaker 2: admit that I don't want to see the negative stuff,
- 2:07Speaker 2: even though I know you've got to see the negative stuff.
- 2:09Speaker 2: But the thing with him is he had unlimited funds,
- 2:12Speaker 2: nobody telling him, hey, this stuff is weird. He had
- 2:15Speaker 2: nobody in his life but sicko fants. He was addicted,
- 2:19Speaker 2: you know.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Accused of it.
- 2:20Speaker 4: In nineteen ninety three, is saying it's very weird to
- 2:22Speaker 4: have kids sleep in bed with you and shower with you.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that I'm doing it. Yeah, you can't do that. Yeah,
- 2:28Speaker 2: But I mean as a whole, he had unlimited sources
- 2:31Speaker 2: of cash and he was an addict. That's bad. That's
- 2:34Speaker 2: bad for you. That's not You're not going to make
- 2:36Speaker 2: a good decisions.
- 2:36Speaker 1: When you watch the movie, it ends with him like
- 2:40Speaker 1: he fires his dad, he's done with his dad, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: it looks like everything goes sideways after he leaves his
- 2:44Speaker 1: He leaves his dad, leaves his family or whatever.
- 2:46Speaker 2: He has a moment with bad Where Things Are? You
- 2:48Speaker 2: know that that album Where Things Are? The Tourist Great,
- 2:51Speaker 2: it's that's I'm gonna have to watch it.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I'm not gonna watch it because to me, maybe I will.
- 2:55Speaker 1: But there's always been just all this negative stuff with
- 2:58Speaker 1: Michael Jackson since then, right, And so you know what
- 3:01Speaker 1: I've been watching since I saw the movie. My Instagram
- 3:03Speaker 1: feed is NonStop clips of Michael Jackson performing clips in
- 3:06Speaker 1: the movie Stuff A Bunt You Far Andally, I really
- 3:08Speaker 1: enjoy it. And I saw this clip from Diane Sawyer
- 3:10Speaker 1: who is a reputable news reporter, and she's sitting there
- 3:13Speaker 1: interviewing Michael Jackson about his new new video that's coming
- 3:16Speaker 1: out and his new album, and she just trashes him
- 3:19Speaker 1: and is condescending to him and talking about how he's
- 3:21Speaker 1: a Nazi and his videos are looked like Hitler and
- 3:24Speaker 1: Michael Jay's like no, no, and I'm watching I feel
- 3:26Speaker 1: so bad for him. And then they showed that it's
- 3:28Speaker 1: one of it. I can't remember it's his remember he
- 3:30Speaker 1: had that I'm his story. They don't care about us,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and they're showing yeah, and it's like, and I'm mark,
- 3:35Speaker 1: how the days I'm looking at I'm looking at her, going,
- 3:37Speaker 1: how could you say that about this song?
- 3:38Speaker 5: The song? It's not like that.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It's there's been a billion movies like that, and it's
- 3:41Speaker 1: just like they just automatically want to trash you, and
- 3:44Speaker 1: they trash Michael Jackson because that back of the time.
- 3:46Speaker 1: It was clickbait before clickbait, you know what I mean.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It was like a nineteen ninety four interview. Anyway, how's
- 3:51Speaker 1: Love Island?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Amazing?
- 3:53Speaker 6: It was only episode one, but and I'm honestly new
- 3:57Speaker 6: to the Love Island crew. Like I watched last season.
- 3:59Speaker 6: I was the first season that I had ever seen.
- 4:01Speaker 6: So I was locked in, me and two of my
- 4:03Speaker 6: best friends. We were at the house. We had a
- 4:04Speaker 6: couple glasses of wine and we were sat and ready
- 4:07Speaker 6: to judge everyone in the villa because that's what you
- 4:09Speaker 6: do when you're watching reality TV like that, you know.
- 4:12Speaker 6: And it was awesome because we got some people that
- 4:15Speaker 6: coupled up, and then we had some people that switched up,
- 4:18Speaker 6: and then new bombshells entered the villa. They've never done
- 4:21Speaker 6: that before. So I am busy every day for the
- 4:24Speaker 6: next six weeks.
- 4:25Speaker 4: So it's just Wednesdays that they don't air episodes. That's
- 4:29Speaker 4: the same this season.
- 4:30Speaker 6: That's the same this season. But I believe that this week.
- 4:33Speaker 6: I believe there's an episode tonight because it's kind of
- 4:36Speaker 6: just getting started and stuff. But yeah, usually it's just Wednesday,
- 4:39Speaker 6: and then on Saturday they do this episode it's called
- 4:42Speaker 6: After Sun, and it's where Arionomattox, the host of Love
- 4:45Speaker 6: Island sits down with the Islanders that have gotten voting
- 4:49Speaker 6: off the villa or former islanders and they kind of
- 4:51Speaker 6: give you the tea when they're leaving and.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Still in feature. But no, like influencers this year, just like.
- 4:56Speaker 6: All there's a couple of influencers. There's a paralympian that's
- 4:59Speaker 6: in there, there's new nurse in there, there's a couple
- 5:01Speaker 6: of people that's like, there's this guy that's a model
- 5:03Speaker 6: and he totally won't tell anyone what his job is
- 5:05Speaker 6: and everyone's like, he's so unemployed.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Well, there was a headline this morning that there's like
- 5:10Speaker 4: a police officer that left his job.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Did you see the mayor I spoke out about that. No,
- 5:14Speaker 6: Oh my gosh. So the mayor of this guy his
- 5:17Speaker 6: name Sean. He's twenty nine and he has a baby,
- 5:19Speaker 6: a one year old, And the mayor that the police
- 5:22Speaker 6: academy that he went into spoke out and said, never
- 5:24Speaker 6: did I ever think in this lifetime that somebody who
- 5:27Speaker 6: was a sworn in officer would leave to go and
- 5:29Speaker 6: be on a reality TV show. We use taxpayers money
- 5:32Speaker 6: to get him through the academy and he left.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That's wild he anyway.
- 5:38Speaker 1: America is turning two hundred and fifty years old and
- 5:41Speaker 1: kiss FM. So with two one hundred and fifty thousand

- 7:11Speaker 1: Saturday night, and we're all going, and somebody's not going.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Somebody on this show kind of right.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Not going is showing up.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I'm going solo.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Jason.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Well, she says that she's going to be there, but
- 7:30Speaker 2: here's the thing. She has a wedding at the Hasley
- 7:33Speaker 2: on Saturday, and she's got to be there to help,
- 7:37Speaker 2: you know, get get the room turned or whatever. Absolute
- 7:39Speaker 2: And she's like, so I'll be there, but I'll why
- 7:42Speaker 2: don't you just wait for me and go later? And
- 7:44Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, but I know this movie. I've never
- 7:47Speaker 2: seen her come home at the time that she says
- 7:49Speaker 2: she's going to be home after an event at her
- 7:52Speaker 2: venue because something always goes wrong. So I'm pitching this
- 7:56Speaker 2: to you right now, Peyton, I believe I have a
- 7:59Speaker 2: plus one? Okay, So is it I was going to bring.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I was going to bring my friend Djjy.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Why brings Why I try to bring somebody? Why yourself?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Because if I can't bring Stacy. I have never been
- 8:14Speaker 2: to a reception by myself and my whole life.
- 8:16Speaker 6: It's not like a real like wedding reception, like it's
- 8:19Speaker 6: like a backyard, and then.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Said it's more of like an open house.
- 8:25Speaker 2: DJ, and I need to go shopping for a gift.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Where you registered?
- 8:28Speaker 4: Do?
- 8:28Speaker 6: We registered at Target? But only because Dick's wife, Caitlin
- 8:32Speaker 6: forced me to.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Disc that's also like helpful to your guests.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I know, because we want to bring it out. I
- 8:38Speaker 2: don't know.
- 8:38Speaker 6: I don't know how to work it. I actually literally
- 8:40Speaker 6: asked Nick when I was making my registry after the show,
- 8:43Speaker 6: I said, would it be bad to put a Nintendo switch.
- 8:46Speaker 4: To on here?
- 8:48Speaker 2: So going to show up at some point?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Well, then that's a plus two and that's not fair
- 8:53Speaker 1: to the rest of us.
- 8:53Speaker 2: So then I'm gonna go by myself.
- 8:54Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying.
- 8:55Speaker 2: That's right.
- 8:56Speaker 5: I'd like to bring some friends.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Bring everyone. If you want over, DJ can come, d
- 9:01Speaker 6: you will have a great time.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Kadema loves DJ, all right, Well can he bring his girlfriend?
- 9:06Speaker 6: Sure, she's lovely as well.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Cousin come.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Okay, you guys.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Sound like my mom inviting everyone and their mother.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Do you want to bring a train? Should bring a
- 9:14Speaker 2: food train?
- 9:14Speaker 5: What kind of foods would be there? Anything healthy?
- 9:16Speaker 6: Anything healthy? No, we actually haven't figured out our food
- 9:19Speaker 6: quite yet. I was actually talking to Kadim's sister because
- 9:21Speaker 6: she wants to cook, and I.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Was like, I'm sorry, John, j will be there for
- 9:28Speaker 2: forty five.
- 9:29Speaker 5: How do how do we have to dress your thing?
- 9:31Speaker 6: Whatever you feel comfy, casual, whatever you feel comfortable.
- 9:35Speaker 5: All right? So not a suit? No, please don't wear
- 9:38Speaker 5: dressed to.
- 9:40Speaker 1: S on Friday and in Los Angeles. And I was like, well,
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'll go. I'll go Friday to Los Angeles and come
- 9:47Speaker 1: back Saturday for your wedding thing. And then the thing
- 9:51Speaker 1: the invitation was, I have the invitation of the way
- 9:54Speaker 1: to dress, and it just made me not want to go,
- 9:57Speaker 1: and part of my New Year's resolution, you know, is
- 9:58Speaker 1: to like say yes to things. So I said yes
- 10:01Speaker 1: to going to this thing, and I never heard back.
- 10:04Speaker 1: So I'm pretty excited about it. What's the dress?
- 10:09Speaker 5: Oh? Ye here attire, elevated casual? What are you wearing?
- 10:14Speaker 5: An elevator.
- 10:17Speaker 6: That's probably just like not jeans and a button up shirt.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So I told Blake, I said, Blake, I got invited
- 10:24Speaker 1: to this thing. You know, my news resolution is to
- 10:25Speaker 1: go to say yes and more things. So I'm going
- 10:28Speaker 1: to say yes. She goes, okay, say yes. I said yes,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and the guy goes great. And I haven't heard anything else.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And it's a trip to La So I feel that
- 10:34Speaker 1: there should be more of a conversation. No, that's it,
- 10:36Speaker 1: he said great. That means you're going. It's his invite.
- 10:40Speaker 1: He gets to bring one person. It's a private invitation,
- 10:43Speaker 1: and so I'm his guest. So him and I have
- 10:46Speaker 1: to coordinate. Are we going on a plane together? Where
- 10:48Speaker 1: we stand? Where is it?
- 10:49Speaker 5: You know what I mean? Like that?
- 10:50Speaker 3: He said great, and that's like affirmation.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Right, But there should be a conversation out. Hey, I'm
- 10:56Speaker 1: on this flight here, we're staying here, and I haven't
- 10:59Speaker 1: heard any of that right now, I'm not because you
- 11:01Speaker 1: don't really.
- 11:01Speaker 6: Want to go, so you don't. You're not going to
- 11:03Speaker 6: follow up with.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Him, but you're going to leave him hanging if you're
- 11:05Speaker 3: his plus one. What if he wanted to invite someone.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Else, there's been no follow up.
- 11:10Speaker 3: You need to follow up this way, he's got to
- 11:13Speaker 3: follow over. He wants him to go, he should follow
- 11:16Speaker 3: up with it.
- 11:16Speaker 5: He goes, I'm going, I'm going to this. Are you interested?
- 11:20Speaker 1: And he says the name of the place where it's out, like,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'm supposed to know what it is and I've never
- 11:24Speaker 1: heard of it, And I'll take guys off air and
- 11:25Speaker 1: I go, I'd roll with you.
- 11:26Speaker 5: It looks fun. He goes, awesome, that was Saturday.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that means you're going.
- 11:30Speaker 3: That means if you don't go, you said you were.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Going, and don't go, listen to your friend. Listen to
- 11:35Speaker 2: your friend, Kyle.
- 11:35Speaker 5: She's right, but shouldn't he be like, hey, on Southwest
- 11:39Speaker 5: flight whatever?
- 11:40Speaker 4: But he just thinks you're going to find your own
- 11:42Speaker 4: way there. You said you were going.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Yeah, but not anymore to follow up said anyway, Ellie's
- 11:51Speaker 5: a good morning, good morning. Okay. You are contested for
- 11:55Speaker 5: a minute to win it. What are you doing right now?
- 11:58Speaker 6: I am sitting with my fourteen year old daughter trying
- 12:02Speaker 6: to keep it together.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Oh yeah, well, what part of how are you in?
- 12:07Speaker 6: Actually I'm in Colorado Spring.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Oh wow, well excellent. Here's the way this works. At
- 12:12Speaker 2: sixty seconds. You gotta get all these questions. Write no
- 12:16Speaker 2: skips when you do. Ellie's a one thousand dollars is yours?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Let's go. Name a fruit that is yellow and curved.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Banana?
- 12:29Speaker 2: What board game features Illinois Avenue and park Place.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Monopoly?
- 12:35Speaker 2: What is the official bird of the United States bald eagle?
- 12:42Speaker 2: What color are the stars on the American flag?
- 12:47Speaker 3: White?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Au is the chemical symbol for what? For gold? Triscadcaphobia
- 13:02Speaker 2: is the fear of what number?
- 13:13Speaker 6: Yes, thirteen?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Name a movie starring Tom Hanks.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, toy story is correct, But you still
- 13:31Speaker 5: had three more questions to go when you ran out
- 13:33Speaker 5: of time.
- 13:36Speaker 2: It did. You did pretty well.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Thank you guys.
- 13:39Speaker 5: That was so fun.
- 13:42Speaker 2: That just totally nerve wracking. I could hear her heart
- 13:44Speaker 2: beating through the phone.
