• 0:01
Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett, breaking news if you are
• 0:06
Speaker 1: a Long Island Ducks fan. This was April second the
• 0:10
Speaker 1: signing was announced. So this is not April fools, but
• 0:13
Speaker 1: one of the most polarizing, controversial, and quote unquote family friendly,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: because he's really not figures in baseball is signing with
• 0:23
Speaker 1: the Long Island Ducks. Trevor Bauer. Now, of course he
• 0:29
Speaker 1: was still pitching in other leagues around the world, it
• 0:34
Speaker 1: felt like, and of course he wasn't here, and majorly
• 0:37
Speaker 1: he's pretty much been exiled from thereafter the accusation delegations.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: I think there's some truth to his abuse, domestic abuse
• 0:48
Speaker 1: that he had on his girlfriend. So here's my question
• 0:52
Speaker 1: right now, I one look a Alex Media Ryan, maybe
• 0:55
Speaker 1: you want to jump in here. I don't know. As
• 0:58
Speaker 1: you know, the Ducks were recently bought by the same
• 1:02
Speaker 1: management company that owns the Texas Rangers. Do you think
• 1:09
Speaker 1: they are going by what Buddy Harrelson and Frank Bolton
• 1:15
Speaker 1: set up twenty six years ago, the family friendly atmosphere?
• 1:23
Speaker 1: And you know how the new management company is thinking,
• 1:27
Speaker 1: let's make a splash in the duck pond with Trevor Bauer.
• 1:33
Speaker 1: Not only that he'll be your opening night starter on
• 1:37
Speaker 1: April twenty first. This isn't a family friendly sighting. And
• 1:43
Speaker 1: if they're gonna do splashes the duck pond this way,
• 1:46
Speaker 1: I don't know, it might look very cringe. It does
• 1:49
Speaker 1: look very cringe. And look, I want to cover the
• 1:53
Speaker 1: Ducks a little bit. I love Long Island Ducks baseball.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: I've of course been around with Buddy Harrelson and all that,
• 2:01
Speaker 1: but this is a disaster. I'm gonna have to go
• 2:05
Speaker 1: to fan fest now and cover how fans are feeling
• 2:08
Speaker 1: about this. Our e V Entertainment just bought the Ducks,
• 2:22
Speaker 1: and their first big splash in the duck pond is
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: Trevor Bauer. I don't know if it's a marketing ploy,
• 2:32
Speaker 1: if they feel he's still got something. Look, the Ducks
• 2:35
Speaker 1: have always had guys coming through that are stars. I
• 2:38
Speaker 1: mean at Gargo, Alphonso after he was done with the Mets,
• 2:40
Speaker 1: play with the with the Ducks now. I will also
• 2:44
Speaker 1: say it's not the first time a polarizing figure was
• 2:47
Speaker 1: brought out by the Ducks and played for them. I
• 2:50
Speaker 1: mean John Rocker. John Rocker was on the Ducks for
• 2:53
Speaker 1: a few years there. Remember him with the Braves crap
• 2:58
Speaker 1: talk in the Mets, but out of the blue on
• 3:06
Speaker 1: a Thursday afternoon, Trevor Bauer is signed by the Ducks,
• 3:19
Speaker 1: and boy, oh boy, this could turn into a circus
• 3:23
Speaker 1: in Centralized of New York. But I really don't believe
• 3:28
Speaker 1: Ryan and others out there listening. This is a family
• 3:31
Speaker 1: friendly signing. I don't believe Buddy Harrison would want this
• 3:35
Speaker 1: guy on the team. But what do you guys think?
• 3:44
Speaker 1: Does this make you want to go to Ducks games? More?
• 3:47
Speaker 1: Same as always less? Alex at ALEXGANYC dot com. Alex
• 3:53
Speaker 1: at ALEXGNYC dot com. The Ducks are bringing a polarizing
• 3:59
Speaker 1: figure to the Duck pond in Trevor Bauer, and it's
• 4:07
Speaker 1: free admission now I hope it still is. I might
• 4:09
Speaker 1: go to Ducks fan Fest in a couple weeks on
• 4:12
Speaker 1: April eighteenth to see the energy of the atmosphere of
• 4:15
Speaker 1: the vibe before they start out. Week of April twentieth,
• 4:25
Speaker 1: very very stunning news to report here at one leg
• 4:29
Speaker 1: Up Alex Media. The Ducks have signed Trevor Bauer, and
• 4:38
Speaker 1: Centralized Clip might experience a bower outage for better or
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: for worse,
