  SPEAKER_00: Um we do we do hope that this has been a series that has helped you think and and pray more intentionally for your family.

  SPEAKER_00: And we look forward to talking more about some of the questions that you have.

  SPEAKER_00: So as we finish up walking through this resource, um, just a reminder that you know, we started off by by recognizing and understanding that we had to think about how to pray and how to prepare ourselves for prayer, prayer, how to prepare ourselves for praying.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, we had to to look at um do an inventory of our own heart.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and then we had to put on the armor and we had to do some spiritual warfare.

  SPEAKER_00: Above and in all of that, we've always had to have this reminder that God is sovereign and that he is greater.

  SPEAKER_00: And so as we look at the end of this book, there is a section um called God is greater.

  SPEAKER_01: So God is greater is actually an abridged version of a longer piece called Lift High, The Lord Your Banner, which is in the warfare section of prayer portions.

  SPEAKER_01: And the whole heart behind it is for whatever evil might be coming against us, there is a name of God and the power of praise and proclaiming who God is to push back the darkness.

  SPEAKER_01: Because I think sometimes we can get so focused in on trying to name what all the darkness is that a lot of times I I find in my own prayer life just proclaiming who God is and saying anything that is against who who God is has to has to flee.

  SPEAKER_01: And so let's leave the focus on um more of who God is and our position in Him, and that He is above all things and He has all authority, and there is nothing coming against us that um is greater than the God who is with us and for us.

  SPEAKER_01: And so it's a list in for the family of 31.

  SPEAKER_01: I think there's even more than that in in uh prayer portions, and so it's a great resource to kind of read through and what type of darkness is coming towards you, and then proclaiming that specific name of God over your life, over your family, and just continually raising the name of God as a banner uh of praise over your family and your situation as a way to fight back anything that's coming against you.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I love the reminder here that says praise his powerful name, not rehearse the problem and call it prayer.

  SPEAKER_00: We've we've talked about that and addressed that there's we tend to pray our list or you know, pray our desires or whatever, and just that that continual reminder um that your mom gives us through these resources of praising him and calling on the fact that he is greater, he is powerful, and his name alone will do the work.

  SPEAKER_01: As we keep moving through the book, there's another prayer when you don't know what to pray.

  SPEAKER_01: It's about praying God's sovereignty, which kind of goes along with what we're saying here, which is sometimes you don't know what to say.

  SPEAKER_01: And so proclaiming who God is in the situation you are is such a powerful thing, not only to invite God's presence, but also to recenter your heart on who He is.

  SPEAKER_01: When you don't know what to pray, was actually released as an audio devotional podcast a few weeks ago.

  SPEAKER_01: So you can search back through and find that and and hear that in its entirety.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I believe that was our February 14th episode, wasn't it?

  SPEAKER_01: I think it was.

  SPEAKER_00: We want to close out today by praying the evening prayer for the home.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to encourage you to take the authority to pray this over your family.

  SPEAKER_00: We are priests by the blood of the new covenant, and we have the same charge as the priest in um the old testament when they were charged to carry the Ark of the Covenant to minister and to bless the people.

  SPEAKER_00: So we have that priestly power, and so we can pray this priestly prayer for our family each evening.

  SPEAKER_00: Father, as your priest in this home, I bow before you to worship and adore you.

  SPEAKER_00: You are all loving, all-wise, and all powerful.

  SPEAKER_00: You are worthy of all honor, praise, and glory.

  SPEAKER_00: I come to you in Jesus' name, and by the sacrifice of his atoning blood, which covers our sins this day.

  SPEAKER_00: As I confess my sins, you are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness.

  SPEAKER_00: Thank you for your mercy.

  SPEAKER_00: I am clothed in the righteousness of the worthy Lamb and anointed with the oil of your spirit.

  SPEAKER_00: You have blessed me with every spiritual blessing, authority, and strength in Christ Jesus.

  SPEAKER_01: I present our family to you as the priest of our home.

  SPEAKER_01: Thank you for the protection of the precious blood of Jesus, covering us, our property, our possessions against the schemes of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy.

  SPEAKER_01: You have clothed us in the full armor of the Lord Jesus to withstand all the flaming missiles of the enemy.

  SPEAKER_01: The blood of Jesus is between my family and all evil footholds of the enemy, which we may have invited by ignorance or disobedience.

  SPEAKER_01: Break the power of any soullish prayers that have been offered for any of us not in your perfect will.

  SPEAKER_01: In Jesus' name I command the enemy to leave this home, send mighty, warring angels to surround us and dismiss all enemy assignments and protect us from all harm, according to Psalm 91.

  SPEAKER_00: Fill our household with your spirit, so that sin has no dominion here.

  SPEAKER_00: Minister your love, joy, and peace to us.

  SPEAKER_00: As we see in Isaiah 52, verse 12, you are our rear guard throughout the night.
