- 0:46Speaker 3: am Craig Collins.
- 0:47Speaker 4: You do you like that music?
- 0:48Speaker 2: I do? I like ac DC Wayne. What do you
- 0:51Speaker 2: think of it?
- 0:52Speaker 4: You know what, I'm fine with it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Okay, that doesn't sound real.
- 0:55Speaker 4: I know it is real. I would have played to
- 0:57Speaker 4: the very.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Soft gotcha because it's six o'clock at seven o'clock in
- 1:00Speaker 3: the morning.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm known for my softness. For like I am,
- 1:05Speaker 4: I'm known for my genteel.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I think you're known for your sarcasm.
- 1:09Speaker 4: No, No, I'm I'm really a nice guy.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah, because like everybody's afraid of you.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I know that. But it's good. That's good for me, right,
- 1:16Speaker 4: I'd want to be afraid of me.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah, like people that I think are afraid of nobody.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I said that I'm going to start working with Wayne Deltafina,
- 1:23Speaker 3: Like that guy is scary.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and they don't. And a lot of people, not
- 1:26Speaker 4: a lot of people, maybe two or three, but a
- 1:28Speaker 4: lot of people don't like me.
- 1:30Speaker 2: They Oh, I don't know about that, you know.
- 1:31Speaker 4: When I left Channel thirteen, Yes, Like this is now
- 1:34Speaker 4: fourteen years ago. There was a guy who commented on
- 1:40Speaker 4: the Chronicle ditt a story and it was one of
- 1:42Speaker 4: the comments was I met Wayne twenty years ago at
- 1:47Speaker 4: three in the morning at some burger place and he
- 1:50Speaker 4: hit on my girlfriend right Like this is like.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Is that true or false?
- 1:56Speaker 4: No, it's absolutely true. I don't remember it, but I'm sure.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It's true already in the first couple of minutes. This
- 2:02Speaker 3: is the thing I like most about you. You are
- 2:04Speaker 3: incredibly honest as a person.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Which has gotten me in trouble. Sure, but I was
- 2:09Speaker 4: thinking to myself, first of all, what a freak that
- 2:12Speaker 4: Like twenty years later, he still remembers some drunk three
- 2:16Speaker 4: in the morning thing where I talked to his girlfriend
- 2:19Speaker 4: for thirty five seconds. Well, you know, right, I mean
- 2:21Speaker 4: I didn't like grab her and run out of the
- 2:23Speaker 4: burger joint with her.
- 2:24Speaker 3: She probably talked about you for a while after that,
- 2:26Speaker 3: though you don't know how much longer she was like
- 2:28Speaker 3: that was Wayne Delter famous.
- 2:29Speaker 4: She must have talked about me like the day before,
- 2:31Speaker 4: he commented in the paper. Right, But you know, it's
- 2:35Speaker 4: funny people because I investigate for a living, obviously, and
- 2:40Speaker 4: it's interesting. People think they're like, we were so smart.
- 2:43Speaker 4: We're really not. Like. What we do is I ask
- 2:46Speaker 4: everyone for an interview before I go to a town.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Everybody good guys, bad guys, whatever. And I get to town.
- 2:53Speaker 4: First of all, most people don't call me back, as
- 2:56Speaker 4: you probably surmise, Iah, but I sort of judge who
- 3:00Speaker 4: calls me back and who doesn't. I go to town
- 3:03Speaker 4: and I walk up to someone with a camera and
- 3:06Speaker 4: they run.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Which is an incredibly guilty decision, by the way.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Well it is. I there was some city attorney, I
- 3:14Speaker 4: think it was in Texas City, and I was asking
- 3:16Speaker 4: him questions. He was walking away, and I think he's
- 3:18Speaker 4: walks to it. He's going to walk to his car, fine, whatever,
- 3:22Speaker 4: and all of a sudden he turns and runs like
- 3:25Speaker 4: he's a child molester, running from like the people with
- 3:29Speaker 4: the stakes and I'm going out. But I judge that,
- 3:32Speaker 4: so you should judge that the people that run for me,
- 3:35Speaker 4: I say, because I'm so smart, I say, they must
- 3:38Speaker 4: be the ones.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Very guilty that are crooks.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Well, here's the thing that I love, because you just said,
- 3:44Speaker 3: to open the show again, this is Case Eve Mornings,
- 3:46Speaker 3: our brand new radio show. My name is Greg Collins.
- 3:48Speaker 3: He's the legend Wayne Delta Fainers. Because I called you
- 3:51Speaker 3: that on the phone and you said that that means
- 3:53Speaker 3: you're old. It just means you're successful. Now that means both, well,
- 3:57Speaker 3: it means one more than the other. But I think
- 3:59Speaker 3: the coolest thing about getting to host a show with
- 4:01Speaker 3: you and working with you is that even though you
- 4:03Speaker 3: describe it as you're hated, you are incredibly respected. You
- 4:06Speaker 3: are one of the most respected names. And I'm not
- 4:09Speaker 3: trying to say this first show to kiss up to you.
- 4:11Speaker 3: It's just simply true. And what I've found in the
- 4:14Speaker 3: year or so that i've lived here and anytime your
- 4:15Speaker 3: name comes up. Your name is synonymous with people that
- 4:19Speaker 3: respect the way that you do journalism. That doesn't exist anymore.
- 4:23Speaker 2: A lot of people don't.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Do what you do. It's one of the and we'll
- 4:26Speaker 4: talk about it as we're going on there. I think
- 4:28Speaker 4: the death of the media, especially locally, and I don't
- 4:33Speaker 4: mean locally just Houston. I mean locally in small towns everywhere.
- 4:37Speaker 4: You know, the small town newspaper. I'll go back leaving
- 4:40Speaker 4: fifty years. The small town newspaper. The guy that ran
- 4:44Speaker 4: it or the woman that ran it used to be
- 4:46Speaker 4: the most feared person in the town. Sure, the politicians
- 4:50Speaker 4: would all be worried about the curmudgeon in the local
- 4:55Speaker 4: newspaper because they could take you down. Yeah, that's what
- 4:58Speaker 4: it was. Now, those small newspapers, they are beholden to
- 5:05Speaker 4: the government in the town because the only way they
- 5:08Speaker 4: really make money anymore is like public notices. Yeah, and
- 5:13Speaker 4: the things that government has to do to pay for advertising.
- 5:16Speaker 4: It's become one of their biggest sponsors. Yeah, you are
- 5:20Speaker 4: not to be rude and crude. You're not going to
- 5:22Speaker 4: peel on the tree as I like to say.
- 5:25Speaker 3: You know what's really interesting about you saying that is
- 5:27Speaker 3: one of the places I worked was a little bit
- 5:29Speaker 3: smaller of a town outside of Chicago, and there was
- 5:31Speaker 3: a big controversy because a young guy who just got
- 5:34Speaker 3: hired at a newspaper had written an article that was
- 5:37Speaker 3: negative about a local politician. So exactly what you're saying,
- 5:39Speaker 3: young guy, he's trying to make a name. He's taken
- 5:42Speaker 3: a shot that media would take a lot immediately silenced,
- 5:45Speaker 3: is what I heard through the grapevine, like never again
- 5:48Speaker 3: was a story like that going to be put out
- 5:49Speaker 3: by this person.
- 5:50Speaker 2: And I think within months he put.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Out a glowing review of the individual he had criticized
- 5:55Speaker 3: as just a pretty obvious we're sorry, let's make it
- 5:58Speaker 3: go away. And it's because, as you said, the local
- 6:01Speaker 3: politicians in these small communities have tremendous power to do
- 6:05Speaker 3: anything they want to you if you mess with them.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So you can't.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And now it's a field day because there really is
- 6:11Speaker 4: very little local media coverage politics. For instance, TV stations
- 6:14Speaker 4: don't give up you know a lot about that, and
- 6:17Speaker 4: so they don't cover it anymore, and so the politicians
- 6:20Speaker 4: are free. It's like I read, Harris County, another tax increase, right, yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 4: every year? Now we have to have more money, right,
- 6:28Speaker 4: I mean the property tax. The guy running on the
- 6:29Speaker 4: toll road makes like four hundred and fifty thousand dollars
- 6:32Speaker 4: a year. And I'm going, wait a minute, it's like automatic, right,
- 6:36Speaker 4: you get a tag and you draw. What the hell
- 6:38Speaker 4: does he do?
- 6:39Speaker 3: You can get a dui and get a raise. Apparently
- 6:42Speaker 3: it's unbelievable as unbelievable.
- 6:44Speaker 4: And so I look at that and I say, we
- 6:48Speaker 4: are so stupid as people. I hate to say I
- 6:51Speaker 4: want to assault. I mean, our listeners.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Are, they're the smart ones.
- 6:55Speaker 4: But I don't know what's going on. And one of
- 6:58Speaker 4: the reasons, excuse me. One of the reasons I agreed
- 7:02Speaker 4: I heard it was you and I said I would
- 7:04Speaker 4: want to do this. But one of the one of
- 7:07Speaker 4: the reasons I agreed to do no, Paul. I wanted
- 7:11Speaker 4: to say that first Paul. Paul called me and said, hey,
- 7:14Speaker 4: you know, Chris is leaving and you know, would you
- 7:17Speaker 4: mind you know, trying something with this young I said,
- 7:20Speaker 4: you know, well who is it? And he said Greig Collins.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I said, never heard of it. First of all, it's
- 7:24Speaker 4: their first thing. No, And then the second thing I
- 7:27Speaker 4: said was no, I don't I don't know him, right,
- 7:31Speaker 4: I mean, I gotta be careful. You know, when I
- 7:33Speaker 4: was in television, I would never take pictures with guys.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Women sure love her, right, but guys know and you
- 7:41Speaker 4: know why. It's sort of like a sense of my
- 7:44Speaker 4: paranoia that even early on, because people attacked me all
- 7:48Speaker 4: the time, you know, first stories I did or whatever,
- 7:50Speaker 4: I always pissed off somebody. But I didn't like take
- 7:53Speaker 4: taking pictures with guys because I worried as the Internet
- 7:57Speaker 4: became bigger and bigger that someday they would be for
- 8:00Speaker 4: child molest. Think no, it's true, and it would be
- 8:04Speaker 4: like like Frank Sinatra and the mob guys, right, and
- 8:07Speaker 4: then take a picture of the mob guys and all
- 8:09Speaker 4: of a sudden, you're a mob guy. So I didn't
- 8:11Speaker 4: want to like like I was part of the child Molesta.
- 8:14Speaker 4: So so I looked like, who are you exactly? And
- 8:17Speaker 4: why do I want to be associated with you?
- 8:20Speaker 3: This is also in general, your your makeup as a
- 8:23Speaker 3: as a journalist, like you care about who everybody is
- 8:26Speaker 3: and what they're doing, and you don't I think give people.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And I'm saying this in a nice way. I don't
- 8:31Speaker 3: mean this in the mean way. Weighing a benefit of
- 8:32Speaker 3: a doubt. They earn what they get with you, right,
- 8:35Speaker 3: this is something I'm.
- 8:36Speaker 4: A golden rule guy. I've always been a I mean,
- 8:39Speaker 4: you're cool with me. I'm cool with you. I don't
- 8:42Speaker 4: expect you to tell me everything. You know, some stuff
- 8:44Speaker 4: you hold back. Some stuff you say, hey, I can't
- 8:46Speaker 4: tell you. I get that, right. And there's been a
- 8:49Speaker 4: lot of times I've done people favors over the years
- 8:51Speaker 4: when I've heard things about people and I say, look,
- 8:54Speaker 4: I don't know if you're doing it or not. I
- 8:56Speaker 4: mean whatever, but you know, just be wary that somebody looking.
- 9:00Speaker 4: It's sort of like there's a I did. The last
- 9:03Speaker 4: investigation I did in TV was about the constables, right
- 9:06Speaker 4: Jack Abercy, who was a constable want some other guys,
- 9:08Speaker 4: And over the years I have been called about that
- 9:11Speaker 4: guy's son.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Right.
- 9:12Speaker 4: People call me and say, hey, you know whatever. And
- 9:14Speaker 4: I knew people over there, and I called over the
- 9:17Speaker 4: first time and I said, hey, guys, you know, I
- 9:19Speaker 4: just want to let you know there's this story on
- 9:20Speaker 4: the street about this guy. And you know, I've got
- 9:23Speaker 4: other stuff to do right now, but you know, cool it.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so just cool it.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Then three or four years later, I'm starting to hear
- 9:30Speaker 4: more stuff and I called back over to one of
- 9:32Speaker 4: my friends over there and I said, dude, you guys
- 9:35Speaker 4: got to fix this right. And the third time I called,
- 9:38Speaker 4: I said, I will not call again. The next time
- 9:42Speaker 4: I hear something about this yahoo, I'm going to do it.
- 9:45Speaker 4: And sure enough it happened, and it led to this
- 9:48Speaker 4: like multi month investigation. One of the constables didn't get
- 9:53Speaker 4: indicted because she literally is too stupid to be indicted.
- 9:56Speaker 4: She really was.
- 9:56Speaker 2: She was Biden exactly.
- 9:59Speaker 4: The grand jury fell back for because some people are
- 10:01Speaker 4: crooks some people, and I think we can share this.
- 10:05Speaker 4: A lot of people work in government, and I don't
- 10:07Speaker 4: mean to insult everyone, well why not, but but a
- 10:10Speaker 4: lot of people who work in government are just dumb.
- 10:12Speaker 4: They are They're just dumb.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Well they're dumb, and they're self obsessed, right, Like a
- 10:16Speaker 3: lot of people in government just want something for themselves.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Unbelievable. But the other reason I wanted to do this, Yes,
- 10:23Speaker 4: it was the pay, obviously, but no, I'm sorry, it's big,
- 10:27Speaker 4: big money. Folks.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Are you getting money?
- 10:28Speaker 4: I'm not getting a thing, and I'm you know, Paul
- 10:33Speaker 4: called me and said, hey, you know, would you mind?
- 10:35Speaker 4: And I said yeah, And I sort of mentioned like like, look,
- 10:38Speaker 4: I'm no offense, but I'm busy. I got ten employees, famous,
- 10:41Speaker 4: I run a company. It's not even about.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Everybody's heard of you. You know, it's okay, I know,
- 10:45Speaker 2: I guess, but it's.
- 10:45Speaker 4: About, you know, I have to pay, like you want
- 10:48Speaker 4: to say, it's ridiculous how much I pay? And these
- 10:51Speaker 4: young people, and I'll say this, I hope my office
- 10:53Speaker 4: is listening. They they're five o'clock people. You would think
- 10:57Speaker 4: there's a horn that goes off in my building.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Can I can I tell you something that makes me
- 11:01Speaker 3: really happy about you saying that? And I like the
- 11:03Speaker 3: people in your office. I got to meet them.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I went over there. I set some stuff up for
- 11:06Speaker 2: you so you can be remote.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Oh it's a real, it's real.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It's incredible.
- 11:09Speaker 3: It's a great office. I had left one of I
- 11:12Speaker 3: have two cell phones. I have one that I just
- 11:13Speaker 3: use as a camera and then I have a real one,
- 11:15Speaker 3: and I left one there and I texted one of
- 11:17Speaker 3: your office mates.
- 11:19Speaker 4: We sold it.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I was like, I'm not going to be
- 11:22Speaker 2: out of work till a little bit later.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Can I come back after five and get it, and
- 11:26Speaker 3: your your employee was like, no, we're closed at five.
- 11:29Speaker 2: No, no, this thing shuts down, dude.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I tell everyone I hire Lucas News is twenty four hours,
- 11:34Speaker 4: seven days a week. Right at four fifty nine, All
- 11:39Speaker 4: of a sudden, everyone is in my office and I'm going,
- 11:43Speaker 4: did I did? I like put something out on the intercom.
- 11:46Speaker 3: But you're you've been a radio and a TV guy.
- 11:48Speaker 3: You know that some people you need to hire, like
- 11:50Speaker 3: an overnight guy. You know you need just the one
- 11:53Speaker 3: overnight producer. By the way, I got nothing going on
- 11:55Speaker 3: at night. If you need somebody else, I'm.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Sorry, I can't care. And we're gonna get serious. Don't
- 11:59Speaker 4: talk about it serious stuff.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Sure, okay, Yeah, that sounds fine. Wayne Deltrafino, Craig Collins.

- 13:21Speaker 9: replaceable and do you have someone in mind to take
- 13:24Speaker 9: her place.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Trump responded by saying, no, she really isn't replaceable.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Listen, there's only one logical replacement for Carolina, Okay, it's
- 13:33Speaker 1: international spokesperson John.
- 13:35Speaker 6: Miller, the gay gay Chris X Radio, weekdays four till six.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Right here, I'm a voice in Texas.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Kanthy Morning.
- 14:00Speaker 3: That is Wayne Deltavino, the man, the myth, not a legend,
- 14:04Speaker 3: apparently still too young for that.
- 14:07Speaker 6: I am.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I am Craig Collins.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I am someone no one's ever heard of, as Wayne
- 14:11Speaker 3: said earlier, and that's absolutely true. On where your new
- 14:13Speaker 3: KSEV Morning news show. I don't know if you want
- 14:16Speaker 3: to get to the caller right away or you want
- 14:17Speaker 3: to do something else.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I don't. We don't need callers. Do you have to
- 14:21Speaker 4: do callers?
- 14:22Speaker 5: No?
- 14:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I really enjoy callers. And people know I did
- 14:26Speaker 4: a radio show. Some people do old people, I need
- 14:30Speaker 4: a radio show and nobody. In the early eighties, I
- 14:33Speaker 4: did a radio show. There was a guy named Ben
- 14:35Speaker 4: Baldwin who was very popular and not a real name
- 14:38Speaker 4: or no, no, well my last name is not You
- 14:42Speaker 4: told me that you're like Italian.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, this is not what you're supposed to do when
- 14:46Speaker 3: you make up a fake name for the radio, to
- 14:48Speaker 3: tell everybody that it's not real.
- 14:49Speaker 2: But no, I'm actually an Italian. I have a longer
- 14:52Speaker 2: last name.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Well, what are you afraid? Are you wanted somewhere?
- 14:56Speaker 3: You know, it's funny of all the guys to do
- 14:59Speaker 3: a show with, you'd be the i'd asked me this question.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I had an old program director at my first radio
- 15:03Speaker 3: job tell me it was too part of a name
- 15:05Speaker 3: to understand, and so I didn't use it there. And
- 15:08Speaker 3: I kind of liked it that I had a fake
- 15:09Speaker 3: radio name after that point, so I just kept it so.
- 15:12Speaker 4: I early on in radio. It just during I guess
- 15:15Speaker 4: the Iranian name is another Iranian thing going on now.
- 15:18Speaker 4: But back then we were hostage chrisis and all that stuff.
- 15:21Speaker 4: And I did we made ten bucks for doing a
- 15:25Speaker 4: thing for Mutual Broadcasting. If we did a spot for
- 15:28Speaker 4: Mutual you got ten dollars.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Right, a bunch of body.
- 15:31Speaker 4: That was huge money, right, So I do this show
- 15:34Speaker 4: and I saw if you know Wayne old Traffino Houston,
- 15:37Speaker 4: and they called me and say, hey, would you mind
- 15:41Speaker 4: if if we change your last name for ten bucks?
- 15:47Speaker 4: I mean, are you kidding me?
- 15:48Speaker 3: I was, here's what's said about your story. I was
- 15:50Speaker 3: an intern, so I did it for free. I changed
- 15:52Speaker 3: my name. I was just interning at ESPN in South Bend, Indiana,
- 15:56Speaker 3: and I changed my name for free.
- 15:57Speaker 4: We were pronouncing all of these like Iranian name, you know, and.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Is like a common not really but pretty Italian.
- 16:06Speaker 4: It's it's pretty Italian. So I think you should go
- 16:09Speaker 4: back to your to your real.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Name, Russell.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna look at our producer slash program director in there.
- 16:15Speaker 3: He's trying to push me to go back to my
- 16:16Speaker 3: actual last name.
- 16:18Speaker 4: Can we do like a mob kind of show, you know,
- 16:21Speaker 4: here's the thing.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I'm gonna go ahead and do this. This is the
- 16:24Speaker 3: first time on the radio that I'm gonna do this.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Wayne Delchafino, investigative reporter, You're going to force this out
- 16:28Speaker 3: of me.
- 16:29Speaker 2: My real last name is colinase Or. And so here's
- 16:35Speaker 2: what it's like. Here's the thing that's funny about that.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Not only is Vince Colin as my cousin and he
- 16:41Speaker 3: does our midday show.
- 16:42Speaker 4: I had that name, Vince Colin, my cousin Vinny.
- 16:45Speaker 3: He does a national show. He took over from Bongino,
- 16:47Speaker 3: so he's in the middle of the time slot here.
- 16:50Speaker 3: But also it is a mob name. I was at
- 16:52Speaker 3: this Italian restaurant in Chicago and this guy walks up
- 16:55Speaker 3: to me and goes, let me see your your ID
- 16:57Speaker 3: because he had heard what my name was. And he
- 16:59Speaker 3: looked at it and he held at me mob and
- 17:01Speaker 3: then he disappeared, and I asked somebody else, I'm like,
- 17:03Speaker 3: who's that guy.
- 17:04Speaker 2: He's like, that's the owner of the restaurant. You have
- 17:06Speaker 2: nothing to do with you, now, I see.
- 17:08Speaker 4: I think we should think about this carefully because because look,
- 17:13Speaker 4: and I also think that Italians are mistreated and look,
- 17:16Speaker 4: I want to join. I want to join the whining society.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Let's do it right.
- 17:22Speaker 4: We're victims because everyone is a dog. One of the
- 17:26Speaker 4: things that's frustrating me so much is I don't care
- 17:29Speaker 4: what you are, who you are, what you do with
- 17:32Speaker 4: your life. Leave me the hell alone. Enjoy your life,
- 17:36Speaker 4: raise your kids, go to church, don't go to church.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Whatever makes you happy, do it right. The need for
- 17:43Speaker 4: people to whine and claim some sort of oh, I'm
- 17:48Speaker 4: so they're so mean to me because I'm a fat
- 17:52Speaker 4: I can't see I'm half they them by try. I
- 17:59Speaker 4: don't care.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Everybody has to be a victim though.
- 18:01Speaker 3: It's the easiest way to get attention on in social media,
- 18:04Speaker 3: where like everybody's on your side.
- 18:06Speaker 4: But why are we afraid to just say shut that
- 18:08Speaker 4: you not?
- 18:09Speaker 2: You're not?
- 18:09Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 18:10Speaker 2: A lot of people here.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Let's get to Jimmy. Jimmy X is on the phone.
- 18:14Speaker 3: He wanted to be the first caller, he mentioned on Friday.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Apparently he has succeeded at that. Jimmy, how you doing, buddy?
- 18:20Speaker 4: Well have to listen and all this back and forth
- 18:23Speaker 4: between you two.
- 18:23Speaker 7: I just think the name of the new show should.
- 18:26Speaker 6: Be the two youths.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Oh, I love it the.
- 18:31Speaker 7: Like that.
- 18:31Speaker 1: That's good, but uh and Craig Man really disappointed that
- 18:37Speaker 1: you didn't have all your facts together. You're not given
- 18:39Speaker 1: Carla Wyatt or due credit.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Okay, it wasn't one you want, it's multiple.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 18:47Speaker 2: You got the reference can arrest for burglary, that's true,
- 18:53Speaker 2: and a raise.
- 18:55Speaker 4: I've never been arrested for okay, me neither.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Did you get a ten percent raise for every felony?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Did you see the hold on by the way, Jimmy
- 19:06Speaker 3: with Carlo Wyat? Did you see the race she asked
- 19:08Speaker 3: for and the race she actually got?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Like the difference between the two. The race she asked
- 19:12Speaker 2: for was up to like four hundred thousand dollars.
- 19:14Speaker 4: I love it.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Isn't that ridiculous, isn't that?
- 19:16Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:17Speaker 10: Right?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah, So she's upset she only got thirty percent.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Right, yeah, yeah, for doing a terrible job and actually
- 19:24Speaker 3: maybe having her job totally go away. I hope that
- 19:27Speaker 3: they actually completely remove that position, which they could do
- 19:29Speaker 3: in the future.
- 19:31Speaker 2: The scary thing is that she still will probably.
- 19:35Speaker 11: Win because of all the sheep out there that will
- 19:38Speaker 11: see that.
- 19:39Speaker 4: You can talk to thee will I will tell you Jimmy,
- 19:42Speaker 4: and I've gotten in trouble for this, and it's not
- 19:46Speaker 4: meant as a generic insult, but people have grown incredibly stupid.
- 19:51Speaker 4: They were lazy, they're stupid to vote. I do think
- 19:55Speaker 4: I'm actually for voting restrictions. I want to minute voting
- 19:59Speaker 4: to people that can, like take a simple test like
- 20:03Speaker 4: maybe six or seven basic questions about America. Sure, and
- 20:09Speaker 4: and if you can't pass it, then I'm sorry, we
- 20:12Speaker 4: will get security to throw you out for you vote.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Can we do a quick calm of their social media too?
- 20:17Speaker 3: And if they say too much crazy stuff, they're not
- 20:19Speaker 3: allowed to vote? Oh my gosh, by the way, we're kidding.
- 20:22Speaker 4: By the way, hey, Jimmy. By the way, just a
- 20:24Speaker 4: quick local news thing. Did you see over the weekend
- 20:26Speaker 4: that the mayor of Lamark, Texas got arrested? Dude?
- 20:33Speaker 12: Yeah, he was like something.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Okay, but it gets even. It's actually better exposing yourself,
- 20:39Speaker 4: you know. Look, I'm sure Craig has done that. It's
- 20:42Speaker 4: not I'm not. We should talk about something new, but
- 20:45Speaker 4: but but but Appurely, some lady in an office park
- 20:49Speaker 4: decided to go to the bathroom, and as she walked
- 20:53Speaker 4: into the lobby of this business park supposedly, allegedly the mayor,
- 21:01Speaker 4: Keith Bell was had his pants down, his undies down,
- 21:05Speaker 4: and he was doing the thing. Right. That's that's how
- 21:08Speaker 4: bad that is. And it's one of those Yeah, I mean,
- 21:13Speaker 4: I have no explanation. He's like a pastor apparently, you
- 21:17Speaker 4: know whoever everyone's pastor is drugs?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Is drugs a potential explanation.
- 21:21Speaker 4: I don't know. I look, I don't know. But but
- 21:25Speaker 4: even in my wildest moment, yea, I have not done
- 21:29Speaker 4: that neither. So I'm not going to come out of
- 21:31Speaker 4: it just a freak show. But I just want to
- 21:34Speaker 4: mention a quick local news bullet.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Did you also hear about the guy or the two
- 21:38Speaker 3: police officers who used an uber to catch somebody?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Did you hear about that?
- 21:42Speaker 4: I actually saw the video.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen the video too. We're trying to get
- 21:44Speaker 2: the guy on the show, the actual uber driver in Houston.
- 21:48Speaker 4: I would love let's do it, Okay, go, let's get
- 21:50Speaker 4: him on.
- 21:50Speaker 2: But thank you for the call, Jimmy. Anything else you
- 21:52Speaker 2: want to say to us, he's no man.
- 21:55Speaker 4: I just the only part I want to make politically
- 21:58Speaker 4: is that when you talk to people skater to work
- 22:01Speaker 4: with you know, things like the Houston Chronicle or other
- 22:04Speaker 4: local news.
- 22:05Speaker 2: They will swear to you that they are objective and
- 22:08Speaker 2: they just report the facts, and they know.
- 22:12Speaker 4: I gotta tell you, I am I am becoming embarrassed
- 22:17Speaker 4: by the media. Should we get out there? The phone number?
- 22:19Speaker 4: Have you done that?
- 22:20Speaker 2: We can?
- 22:20Speaker 10: Now?
- 22:20Speaker 2: We haven't done that.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I don't even know what the number?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Seven three eight?
- 22:24Speaker 4: What was it again?
- 22:25Speaker 2: You eight one five five eight five seven three eight
- 22:28Speaker 2: or k.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Okay, first show? You got to call us? One of
- 22:31Speaker 4: the questions I want to ask, And I'll get back
- 22:33Speaker 4: to whatever I was thinking. But it was a butterfly moment.
- 22:35Speaker 4: But but one of the things I thought. You called
- 22:38Speaker 4: me and said what do you want to talk about?
- 22:39Speaker 4: And I said, you know, whatever, whatever you want to
- 22:41Speaker 4: talk about, we can talk about. You know, freak shows.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Everyone mad at me because I'm a white guy. I'm sorry,
- 22:48Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I don't care right, I'm sorry. I didn't
- 22:52Speaker 4: have any choice over what flavor I was. But but
- 22:56Speaker 4: one of the things that I want to talk about
- 22:58Speaker 4: today is what is cause this is like a conservative
- 23:02Speaker 4: radio station. I'm coming back to it. What is a
- 23:05Speaker 4: conservative today?
- 23:07Speaker 10: Just?
- 23:08Speaker 4: Yeah, because I don't know.
- 23:10Speaker 3: I don't know that that's easily defined, to be honest
- 23:12Speaker 3: with you, because I do think there's two branches of
- 23:15Speaker 3: the conservative movement currently, and I think there's one kind
- 23:17Speaker 3: of lazy explanation that there's MAGA and then not MAGA.
- 23:20Speaker 3: But I don't think that's even true now because I
- 23:22Speaker 3: think there's a lot of people who I would qualify
- 23:24Speaker 3: as supporters of President Trump who are not essentially the
- 23:28Speaker 3: same as people like Nick Fuentes, who are on social
- 23:31Speaker 3: media saying crazy stuff, including vote for Democrats, to publish
- 23:35Speaker 3: Republicans or to punish Republicans. That's one of many crazy
- 23:39Speaker 3: things we were talking before the show about Israel and
- 23:42Speaker 3: some people's positions about Israel.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I think they're looking for a boogeyman that doesn't exist there.
- 23:47Speaker 3: But to answer your question, what is a conservative, it
- 23:50Speaker 3: feels like there's two branches to that answer. One is
- 23:53Speaker 3: more radical than the other, which has always been true
- 23:55Speaker 3: of political parties, but feels uniquely true in the social
- 23:58Speaker 3: media society on both sides, because the same is true
- 24:01Speaker 3: with Democrats. There's what might be a Judge Eric Anddelle
- 24:05Speaker 3: Democrat that sort of seems to exist still.
- 24:07Speaker 4: You know, he married me on Friday he married.
- 24:11Speaker 3: And then there's the DSA, which is an insane group
- 24:13Speaker 3: of people that are as far to the left as
- 24:15Speaker 3: you can possibly go.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I've been mad at him there for since, have you been? Yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 4: but he married me.
- 24:20Speaker 6: No.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Look, well, I'm a conservative, right, I'm not in a box.
- 24:25Speaker 4: And I think part of the problem with both parties
- 24:27Speaker 4: is they think people are in boxes. Right. Then if
- 24:30Speaker 4: I don't agree with everything that President Trump, for instance,
- 24:34Speaker 4: says or does, or that, I'm a rhino. And I
- 24:39Speaker 4: gotta tell you, I think I've said this, and because
- 24:42Speaker 4: I criticize everybody, I don't What do I care? Right,
- 24:45Speaker 4: What are you gonna do to me? At this point?
- 24:47Speaker 4: I've been sued like thirty times. Really, Oh yes, I've
- 24:49Speaker 4: been thrown in jail. I've been arrested by the cops
- 24:52Speaker 4: on nonsense. You haven't been arrested for contempt. I don't care.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I have a lawyer that loves you, though.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know, if someone sues me now, I
- 25:00Speaker 4: will be dead before they get me. No intercourse, right,
- 25:04Speaker 4: So I'm whatever, do the best you can. But I'm
- 25:08Speaker 4: a small I'm a small government guy because I've investigated
- 25:13Speaker 4: government for fifty years. And they are horrible. It is
- 25:17Speaker 4: they they spend money on more nonsense, and they waste
- 25:22Speaker 4: more money. They're inefficient, they're incompetent. I look at government
- 25:25Speaker 4: documents all the time. I'm going like, what idiots, right, you.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Do you actually think the government is more wasteful or
- 25:32Speaker 3: more like they just embezzled and steel wasteful.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, look.
- 25:36Speaker 2: By far you think it's far more that they're just
- 25:38Speaker 2: you know what, I.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Used to think this, and you know, to shout out
- 25:40Speaker 4: to Nick Shirley and whoever was helping him do whatever
- 25:43Speaker 4: he did, and his mom, his mom is, you know,
- 25:45Speaker 4: his cousin Vinnie. Whatever. I've I've been even surprised. It's
- 25:51Speaker 4: just how much fraud there is in these entitlement programs.
- 25:57Speaker 4: I mean, look, if it's a bigion or something, you say, well, ever,
- 26:00Speaker 4: like you just look at like ten twenty billion dollars
- 26:03Speaker 4: in one crophole place and you're going there, that's impossible
- 26:07Speaker 4: right now, and you knew that the officials who allowed
- 26:10Speaker 4: it to happen are correct.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Yeah, because they couldn't have not known that one house
- 26:14Speaker 3: like that has seventy thousand employees at it couldn't possibly
- 26:17Speaker 3: be real.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Yeah, let's say mean things about Somonia.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Well, let's do that.
- 26:20Speaker 3: We got mean things about a lot of people. I
- 26:21Speaker 3: have a DSA story of the day that we might
- 26:23Speaker 3: get to.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Let's do it. Let's do it.
- 26:25Speaker 3: This is KS a few mornings. My name is Craig Collins.
- 26:27Speaker 3: He is Wayne Delta Fino. We'll be back after this.

- 26:49Speaker 5: it off until an emergency arises. This is Debta Hatta
- 26:52Speaker 5: from Tayhouse Roofing, your Houston roofing company. I understand. People
- 26:56Speaker 5: tell me it's way too complicated and too expensive.
- 27:00Speaker 11: Our customers tell us they wish they would have done
- 27:02Speaker 11: it sooner.
- 27:03Speaker 5: I hear it all the time. Once the roof is replaced,
- 27:05Speaker 5: they wonder why they waited so long, because it's really
- 27:08Speaker 5: not that complicated. We show up on time, we quote
- 27:11Speaker 5: you a fair price. We replace most roofs in just
- 27:14Speaker 5: one day. At Tahos Roofing. We take pride in making

- 27:18Speaker 11: The cleanup is phenomenal. People always comment that it looks
- 27:21Speaker 11: like we were never there, And now those customers sleep
- 27:24Speaker 11: better at night knowing your new roof has been installed correctly.

- 27:29Speaker 5: it off. Call me now Deptahata at Tahas Roofing. Two

- 27:53Speaker 13: and country. In the past fifty years, people have been

- 27:58Speaker 2: Fight for what you believe in.
- 28:00Speaker 13: Protect your freedoms before they're all taken away. Don't let
- 28:03Speaker 13: anyone infringe on your rights. If you need a real

- 28:18Speaker 12: Bad decisions limit future options, stop adversity for becoming stress

- 28:36Speaker 9: From the KSEV Weather Center. Today, expect partly sunny skies
- 28:40Speaker 9: and toasty conditions with a high of one hundred and two.
- 28:43Speaker 9: Tonight will be partly cloudy and humid with a low
- 28:45Speaker 9: of seventy eight. Tomorrow we'll bring sunshine with a few
- 28:47Speaker 9: clouds and toasty conditions, reaching a high of one hundred.
- 28:50Speaker 9: Wednesday continues with partly sunny weather and toasty conditions, also
- 28:53Speaker 9: reaching a high of one hundred. Thursday will be hot
- 28:55Speaker 9: with a mix of clouds and sun with a chance
- 28:56Speaker 9: of a thunderstorm and some spots during the afternoon. The
- 28:59Speaker 9: high temperature will be one hundred degrees. With the KACV
- 29:02Speaker 9: Weather Center forecast on ACU weather Meteorologist Joe Lundberg.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Kday Morning. My name is Craig Collins. He is Wayne Delchape.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Do I get to ever say my name myself? You
- 29:26Speaker 4: always have to I ask, I don't know.
- 29:28Speaker 2: I'll tell you this way.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I like to talk very quickly with the music because
- 29:32Speaker 3: we don't own the license to.
- 29:33Speaker 2: It, and I like it to go away.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I get I get copyright stuff all. Yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Because the Internet is very letitious, you know, very Uh,
- 29:42Speaker 3: they litigate a lot.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So what I'm trying to do is try to interrupt that.
- 29:45Speaker 2: So we don't have a whole lot of that.
- 29:47Speaker 4: So seven seconds is like even that.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Ten seconds they say, but actually it's not true on
- 29:53Speaker 2: the Internet.
- 29:53Speaker 4: So I use a lot of video clips from movies. Yes,
- 29:56Speaker 4: have you ever watched any of our stories? Yeah? Probably not.
- 29:59Speaker 4: But if I use a lot of video clips because
- 30:01Speaker 4: I like to have sound from movies where people say
- 30:06Speaker 4: something editorially that I can't say or don't want to say.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Let somebody else say, well, that's stupid. It's for some movie.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yeah right, yeah, a little little dry.
- 30:16Speaker 4: All have a movie theme. I use movie themes a lot.
- 30:20Speaker 4: There's certain movies I like that. There's a part in uh,
- 30:25Speaker 4: what's that what's the name of the boy? I totally
- 30:27Speaker 4: slipped my mind, but there's a there's a what is
- 30:32Speaker 4: that movie? Oh my gosh, I'm doing an investigation in
- 30:34Speaker 4: Corpus Christy And uh, there's a movie like Who's the
- 30:38Speaker 4: cop movie with the guy Leslie Nielsen. I think, oh,
- 30:42Speaker 4: naked gun, thank you very Oh my gosh. I was
- 30:44Speaker 4: a senior moment, but naked gun. So there's a part
- 30:47Speaker 4: in there where like things are blowing up and cars
- 30:49Speaker 4: are crashing in and stuff, and and he said, and
- 30:52Speaker 4: they're going just.
- 30:53Speaker 6: Move along, move along.
- 30:54Speaker 4: There's nothing to see here, right, And so I'm doing
- 30:57Speaker 4: an investigation in corpus of all the political crap show
- 31:00Speaker 4: down there and the corruption stuff. And I keep using that.
- 31:04Speaker 4: It was like the original theme of the first story.
- 31:07Speaker 4: I'm here right, everyone's a crooked but not everything's fine people.
- 31:13Speaker 4: And I like that because I like I like theme. Sure,
- 31:17Speaker 4: I'm a I'm a simple kind of reporter in that way.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Is that I like beginnings, I like ends, I like bookends.
- 31:23Speaker 3: But the inspiration of this entire conversation, Yes, you can
- 31:26Speaker 3: absolutely say your name.
- 31:26Speaker 2: The rest of the show if you'd like. No, I
- 31:28Speaker 2: don't want to, I just but you you, I would,
- 31:31Speaker 2: I would prefer it. And we didn't talk about this offer.
- 31:32Speaker 2: If we do it quick so we don't have a
- 31:34Speaker 2: whole was a legend here.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I just like you you Okay, you are all right,
- 31:38Speaker 4: all right, So I'm gonna let Craig say my name
- 31:41Speaker 4: going forward.
- 31:42Speaker 2: For the rest of them, I'm trying to just coattails
- 31:45Speaker 2: to success.
- 31:45Speaker 4: So anyway, back to conservatives, and I'm serious. I want
- 31:49Speaker 4: people to start calling because I want them to tell
- 31:51Speaker 4: me what they think a conservative conservative. Look, I don't
- 31:55Speaker 4: even like the word, and I'll tell you why, because
- 31:59Speaker 4: concern root to me almost is like where got something
- 32:05Speaker 4: stuck up our butt? Sure, I'm just telling you, all right,
- 32:10Speaker 4: I'm an American, I'm I'm the American Party. I think
- 32:14Speaker 4: we should just change it, am, Let's call it the American.
- 32:16Speaker 3: I like the American Party. Two eight one five five
- 32:18Speaker 3: eight five seven three eight is the phone number. Two
- 32:21Speaker 3: eight one five five eight five seven three eight. Call
- 32:23Speaker 3: us and tell Wayne what a conservative is to you.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Tell us what you think it is. We do have
- 32:27Speaker 3: Bart on the phone if we want to go to
- 32:29Speaker 3: Bart real quick. I think he's got a suggestion for
- 32:32Speaker 3: a show name for us.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Bart.
- 32:33Speaker 13: What do you got, Well, I was gonna mister kling A's,
- 32:36Speaker 13: but I think your name.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Need to be just Colin Aise.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Okay, all right, what did you think about?
- 32:43Speaker 13: Wayne is talking about the King of video clips.
- 32:45Speaker 2: That's you, I thought, but here's are more audio clips.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 2: No, I'm not the king of anything on this show.
- 32:51Speaker 2: He is the king of No.
- 32:52Speaker 4: I actually like like Colinase adult chick, Colonnades, Well, whatever
- 32:59Speaker 4: you want, but I I kind of like it.
- 33:01Speaker 13: You have a video audio clip of what happened in
- 33:04Speaker 13: Chicago yesterday?
- 33:06Speaker 2: Which thing that happened in Chicago yesterday got killed? We
- 33:09Speaker 2: have an immigrant they used to playing for the NBA
- 33:12Speaker 2: and they basically I do have that Ennis Canter getting
- 33:15Speaker 2: I do of that.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I have Nis Canter getting kicked out of the w
- 33:17Speaker 3: NBA basketball game, yes, and then I actually also have
- 33:19Speaker 3: him talking. I have him Bart talking after he got
- 33:22Speaker 3: kicked out with the people that kicked him out.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Saying he was he trying to play or he's just
- 33:27Speaker 4: going he is one of those NBA No I knew that,
- 33:29Speaker 4: but he was he actually trying to get you go
- 33:32Speaker 4: ahead female?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yeah, he had a definition what.
- 33:35Speaker 11: A woman is that.
- 33:36Speaker 13: They threw him out because Natasha Cloud started talking smack
- 33:40Speaker 13: to him.
- 33:40Speaker 9: He's the stands he paid a ticket.
- 33:42Speaker 13: And when he says you could, let's see you do
- 33:44Speaker 13: that against.
- 33:45Speaker 2: The man, he started young crazy and they threw him out. Yes,
- 33:49Speaker 2: that's true.
- 33:49Speaker 4: So he was.
- 33:50Speaker 3: He was wearing a shirt that had a he had
- 33:53Speaker 3: a definition for a woman on it, which is what
- 33:55Speaker 3: a female You know, biological.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Clip too actually from Tall Rico. Yeah, he's our neighbors.
- 34:03Speaker 2: But yeah, I know, yeah, so Bart, we can probably
- 34:06Speaker 2: play it at some point later on in the show.
- 34:08Speaker 13: Well, Tall Rico, he thinks God's not a noun, So
- 34:11Speaker 13: what are you gonna do?
- 34:13Speaker 4: Thank you, buddy, I gotta tell you. And this isn't
- 34:16Speaker 4: This is more of a personal observation. There's something weird
- 34:20Speaker 4: about that guy. You know, did you something?
- 34:23Speaker 2: You're the only guy saying it?
- 34:25Speaker 4: No, I know, I am. This is a unique thought
- 34:27Speaker 4: I had, but there's just something off. You ever meet
- 34:30Speaker 4: somebody and you go, there's something off with this? Oh yeah, right,
- 34:33Speaker 4: And look, I personally think I was doing a story
- 34:38Speaker 4: on the town and I said that I am a
- 34:40Speaker 4: small government guy. And that's where I will get back
- 34:44Speaker 4: to conservative a second. But I'm a small government guy.
- 34:47Speaker 4: But I actually think the city needs to add a
- 34:50Speaker 4: position for a city shrink, someone who can talk to
- 34:57Speaker 4: everyone that job. In the last your thirty years, have
- 35:01Speaker 4: we noticed, folks that everybody is like mentally screwed up
- 35:06Speaker 4: now I mean insult anybody. You know, everyone's got their issues,
- 35:10Speaker 4: But like, why is it now that we were so
- 35:14Speaker 4: into that? Right, it's weird we've all become like freaks.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Well, so I like that you bring this up a lot,
- 35:20Speaker 3: because I think there's a version of we were screwed
- 35:23Speaker 3: up before, and we tolerated it better, and we don't
- 35:25Speaker 3: tolerate it as well now. Like people had problems before,
- 35:29Speaker 3: every problem we had wasn't plastered all over some sort of.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Social media platform because they didn't exist.
- 35:35Speaker 3: And then a huge part of your identity, A lot
- 35:37Speaker 3: of it was stuff you kept to yourself and maybe
- 35:39Speaker 3: you told a few family members. I think we need
- 35:41Speaker 3: to go back to that in order for everyone to
- 35:43Speaker 3: not think they need like twenty five mental health days.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Just exactly just live.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I knew, and look, there's so many things wrong with
- 35:53Speaker 4: us that I am kind of depressed. Okay that I
- 35:58Speaker 4: think it's too.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Late, don't know, but it's never too late.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Well, it's never too late. But we are so far
- 36:05Speaker 4: down the road of stupidum and whining and please government,
- 36:11Speaker 4: you're supposed to give me stuff. Right, we became we've
- 36:15Speaker 4: turned from not to invoke grandparents and look the MAGA
- 36:20Speaker 4: thing make America great again. The sort of damage that
- 36:27Speaker 4: the other freak shows, the left wing freaks have tried
- 36:31Speaker 4: to do, to turn something that really was good into
- 36:36Speaker 4: something that supposedly racist means spirited. I think it's one
- 36:41Speaker 4: of the most tragic things that have happened. And I
- 36:44Speaker 4: think to a certain degree, we allowed it because from
- 36:48Speaker 4: the very beginning we didn't say you're nuts. Right, the
- 36:54Speaker 4: people who stormed the beach at Normandy, and I'm not
- 36:56Speaker 4: trying to be all patriotic here, but the people worked
- 37:00Speaker 4: and lived and raised families and went to church and
- 37:04Speaker 4: just lived their lives and worked their butt off and
- 37:07Speaker 4: worked two three jobs, maybe to the detriment of their
- 37:10Speaker 4: families to a certain degree or themselves, but they worked
- 37:14Speaker 4: like And that's why when I guess part of people
- 37:17Speaker 4: see arrogance, to me, it's I worked my butt off.
- 37:21Speaker 4: I started working in radio, I made five hundred dollars
- 37:23Speaker 4: a month. I switched to the news because they made
- 37:26Speaker 4: five point fifty. Right, So I'm you know, I didn't
- 37:29Speaker 4: finish college because I never went. I got a point
- 37:32Speaker 4: six my last semester in college. Yeah, I was I
- 37:35Speaker 4: was great, I was brilliant. I didn't go to Yale,
- 37:37Speaker 4: didn't go to Harvard. That's right, and so I but
- 37:42Speaker 4: I've worked, my I've worked all the time, I've travel
- 37:46Speaker 4: I've just I've covered hurricanes where the station didn't care
- 37:50Speaker 4: if I came back. They just did why they wanted
- 37:52Speaker 4: to truck the satellite truck costs Like an.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Said that, by the way, like I can't understand there's
- 37:56Speaker 3: a hurricane without putting you in it.
- 37:58Speaker 4: Oh, I actually enjoy it. There's a there is a
- 38:01Speaker 4: small difference between being crazy, yeah and stupid. Okay, I'm
- 38:07Speaker 4: crazy crazy branch of the conservative movie.
- 38:10Speaker 3: You brought up storming the Beaches of Normandy, though, and
- 38:13Speaker 3: this is to your point, Wayne, I do think we're
- 38:15Speaker 3: very far from the society that did that, and that
- 38:18Speaker 3: feels like there's no hope left because I can't see
- 38:21Speaker 3: this generation, our general, I'm a millennial. I can't see
- 38:24Speaker 3: this generation storming the beaches of Normandy in any form
- 38:28Speaker 3: of what that used to be. And that's tragic. That's
- 38:30Speaker 3: a that's a thing we need to find a way
- 38:32Speaker 3: to get back to. And there's a toughness. It's the
- 38:35Speaker 3: it's the old phrase that you know, hard times create
- 38:38Speaker 3: strong men. Weak times create weak men, and we have
- 38:41Speaker 3: we have a very weak society.
- 38:42Speaker 4: And and this going back to conservative is why I'm
- 38:46Speaker 4: I'm a hawk first of all on military right, I'm
- 38:49Speaker 4: from the wing of the party that says, let's finish
- 38:51Speaker 4: the job. I think we should do that turn into
- 38:54Speaker 4: a parking lot, and I agree with you, right, and
- 38:57Speaker 4: then you know whatever, and they can all go to
- 39:00Speaker 4: a good time. So I'm I'm that way, right. I
- 39:04Speaker 4: guess I'm a neo khon whatever that means.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I just I think it's dumb.
- 39:08Speaker 4: It's a dumb thing. But that's but that's what I believe,
- 39:11Speaker 4: and I also believe. And it's not because I think
- 39:14Speaker 4: I'm better than them. I think we've made a tragic
- 39:19Speaker 4: mistake in bringing cultures to America that had no real
- 39:25Speaker 4: interest in being part or melting into this country. And
- 39:30Speaker 4: so I am a real hawk on immigration stuff. That's
- 39:35Speaker 4: my brand, right.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I agree with you on that too, because I think
- 39:38Speaker 3: that there are a lot of people that blamed us
- 39:41Speaker 3: for whatever they thought was a problem in their life
- 39:44Speaker 3: and then they moved here, which is the craziest thing
- 39:46Speaker 3: to me, that you would you would immigrate to the
- 39:48Speaker 3: country that you think is the bad guy. Like every
- 39:51Speaker 3: bad country I think exists out there. I'm not moving there.
- 39:54Speaker 3: I'm not going to be Iranian in like a way.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to move to the crap hole place, right,
- 40:00Speaker 4: I want kids, let's go.
- 40:01Speaker 3: And so I think to your point, the people who
- 40:03Speaker 3: came here and did it in this begrudging like I
- 40:05Speaker 3: have to go.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I hate that place.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Whey, we didn't force those people to like our country,
- 40:09Speaker 3: and now they live here and they hate our country
- 40:11Speaker 3: and they're trying to do things to harm our country.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Well under the umbrella of the freedom that we provide them.
- 40:16Speaker 4: Yeah, because I am apparently I didn't know if you
- 40:18Speaker 4: know this. I'm Islamophobic, right because and look I have
- 40:22Speaker 4: and I don't want to do some of my best
- 40:23Speaker 4: friends are black. Story. But but but I have very
- 40:27Speaker 4: close allies and people I consider friends who I guess
- 40:32Speaker 4: we're Muslim and do their whatever religion thing they want
- 40:36Speaker 4: to do. God bless you have a good time. Right,
- 40:38Speaker 4: I don't care honor your religion, don't don't give it,
- 40:41Speaker 4: you know what. But but I'm not Islamophobic. I see
- 40:46Speaker 4: like a siaed guy that that guy up in his
- 40:52Speaker 4: name is Mohammed. Yeah, sorry, I think it's I'm doing Mohammed.
- 40:57Speaker 2: It might be.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I know that he's yelled at us that we can't
- 40:59Speaker 3: say his so we were not allowed to even try.
- 41:01Speaker 4: We're not allowed to say his name. But I hear
- 41:04Speaker 4: this guy and this stuff with Vance going on, where
- 41:06Speaker 4: apparently Van said something about that this is not his
- 41:12Speaker 4: grandfather's Democratic party in your world and the Abdul I'm glad,
- 41:20Speaker 4: you know. I don't don't think about it. I don't care,
- 41:23Speaker 4: but I really don't. It's my libertarian conservative I just
- 41:28Speaker 4: I just don't care. So he said something that raised
- 41:33Speaker 4: used Vance's wife's name in his response on social media,
- 41:39Speaker 4: like what do you think your grandfather would think of Usha,
- 41:45Speaker 4: which was like that all Midwestern white people who lived
- 41:49Speaker 4: forty years ago were racist? And I just it's like,
- 41:53Speaker 4: what are we doing? I mean what, literally, we're.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Making enemies of each other.
- 41:58Speaker 3: We're intentionally, well, the politicians are intentionally making you hate
- 42:01Speaker 3: the other side.
- 42:02Speaker 4: But you know what I think they are. I really
- 42:04Speaker 4: believe they are my enemy. I'm sorry.
- 42:08Speaker 3: On the other side, Yeah, a lot they want do
- 42:10Speaker 3: you want to do you want to kill them? You
- 42:12Speaker 3: don't want to kill them. You said, live your own
- 42:13Speaker 3: life in your own closed doors.
- 42:14Speaker 4: I would know. I would prefer not to kill them.
- 42:18Speaker 4: I would just can I say that, I would prefer.
- 42:20Speaker 2: It's anything you want. Man, the crazier we got.
- 42:23Speaker 4: I just did. I just did. Apparently all right?
- 42:25Speaker 2: Cool? Do you want to say, do you want to
- 42:27Speaker 2: get us out?
- 42:28Speaker 5: No?
- 42:28Speaker 4: I'll let you do. Okay, you did the open you
- 42:31Speaker 4: said my name. I think you have to do it.
- 42:33Speaker 3: KCV Mornings. He is Wayne Delchafino. I am Craig Collins,
- 42:36Speaker 3: will be back in a bit.

- 44:02Speaker 10: across your screen. Remember you're always going to get a
- 44:05Speaker 10: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 44:08Speaker 10: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal

- 44:38Speaker 3: two one three.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Light.
- 44:58Speaker 4: It's the mornings in Houston, Texas. It's a Monday. I
- 45:02Speaker 4: don't even know what the date is. It's the twenty
- 45:04Speaker 4: fourth fourth August. It remember this date because this date
- 45:09Speaker 4: will live in infamy? Right will Craig Collins Wayne del
- 45:13Speaker 4: Tefino together for the very first time. In fact, we
- 45:17Speaker 4: literally met. We did for the first time, just moments
- 45:21Speaker 4: we did before the show started.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Actually we also didn't.
- 45:25Speaker 4: I tried all weekend. You called me all weekend and
- 45:27Speaker 4: said please come now. That's not and I said, no,
- 45:30Speaker 4: I'm not, I'm not coming to me.
- 45:32Speaker 3: That's actually not what I was going to talk about.
- 45:34Speaker 3: I don't mean to do this to you on air,
- 45:35Speaker 3: but you brought it up, and you care about honesty.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Three or four months ago, I opened the door for
- 45:40Speaker 3: you here and you didn't know who I was. I
- 45:42Speaker 3: was walking in you were walking into the leg.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Why would I exactly?
- 45:47Speaker 2: I think you told me, don't look me in the eyes.
- 45:51Speaker 4: I said, you're talking to me.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I opened the door and I was like, that was Wayne,
- 45:54Speaker 2: wasn't it.
- 45:54Speaker 3: And they're like, yeah, that's Whayne del tra Fino is
- 45:56Speaker 3: going to go do the morning show. So I've met
- 45:57Speaker 3: you for five seconds once before, you.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Know what, I've talked about it. You know, one of
- 46:02Speaker 4: the bad things about being on TV for so long
- 46:03Speaker 4: is that people would come up to you, and even
- 46:06Speaker 4: now people come up to me. So I met you.
- 46:08Speaker 4: Do you remember it was twenty eight years ago. It
- 46:12Speaker 4: was three in the morning at some after hours bar
- 46:16Speaker 4: and you were the drunk guy on the corner and
- 46:18Speaker 4: I said, I said something to you, and you said
- 46:21Speaker 4: something back to me. And they actually still remember it,
- 46:25Speaker 4: of course, and that is talk about, like, you know,
- 46:28Speaker 4: self flagellation right go to this. I'm like, people actually
- 46:32Speaker 4: tell me it's not an event when they met me.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Well, yeah, anybody, I think anybody that you see as
- 46:38Speaker 3: and I said this to you at the beginning of
- 46:39Speaker 3: the show.
- 46:40Speaker 4: You'll be talking about this for years. This first day.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Well, now I was going to say this.
- 46:44Speaker 3: I said this to you at the beginning of the show,
- 46:46Speaker 3: that you're so highly respected that. I do think a
- 46:49Speaker 3: lot of people who get to meet you would remember it.
- 46:51Speaker 4: I think we're not going to do a show together
- 46:54Speaker 4: if you, if you, if you keep saying these things
- 46:57Speaker 4: you are, but.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Like you know that that's true because you're your honesty.
- 47:01Speaker 3: I mean, at the beginning of the show, you tell
- 47:02Speaker 3: a story about a woman that you hit on, and
- 47:04Speaker 3: you say.
- 47:04Speaker 4: It's true, That's absolutely true, Which is.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Funny that your honesty is to that degree. And I
- 47:09Speaker 3: think that's where the trust and everything else comes from
- 47:11Speaker 3: for you.
- 47:12Speaker 4: So the reason I told you that, the reason I
- 47:16Speaker 4: wanted to do this with you, yeah, is because I
- 47:19Speaker 4: am really frustrated. I gotta tell you, and I'm sure
- 47:23Speaker 4: I speak for a lot of people out there about
- 47:26Speaker 4: how pissed off I am, how insulted I am that
- 47:30Speaker 4: all of a sudden, everybody seems the Democratic Party is
- 47:35Speaker 4: the party of gimme, gimme, gimme something I told you
- 47:39Speaker 4: before we went on, and I thought Social Security was
- 47:41Speaker 4: a horrible mistake. I thought the New Deal was a
- 47:44Speaker 4: horrible mistake. Once we started giving people things for free,
- 47:50Speaker 4: we were doing because people want more and more. And
- 47:54Speaker 4: now I gotta take care of your kids like, I
- 47:57Speaker 4: have some control over how many kids you have. I
- 48:00Speaker 4: interviewed a woman once, and I think this is when
- 48:02Speaker 4: I really turned because I was I had a Richard
- 48:06Speaker 4: Nixon resignation party when I was in college. I was
- 48:09Speaker 4: at a liberal right I was, And so I think
- 48:13Speaker 4: when the moment that I remember, You know, there are
- 48:15Speaker 4: some moments in your life that you just remember. So
- 48:17Speaker 4: I interviewed a woman who had and I know this
- 48:20Speaker 4: is supposedly an anomaly folks, and it doesn't matter, but
- 48:24Speaker 4: she had seven kids and she was pregnant with her
- 48:27Speaker 4: aid from like six different guys whatever, how fun, and
- 48:34Speaker 4: we were paying I was investigating people that were actually
- 48:38Speaker 4: scamming the government on housing for these people. And she
- 48:43Speaker 4: lived at a very nice two story house house that
- 48:47Speaker 4: today would cost about six hundred thousand dollars. I'm paying
- 48:49Speaker 4: for all their food, I'm paying for a house so
- 48:53Speaker 4: they can live really nice when there are people who
- 48:55Speaker 4: don't get government money, who live in shacks. And they
- 48:59Speaker 4: said to myself, when did this happen? That we're like,
- 49:04Speaker 4: we're rewarding people for basically being generations of people who
- 49:09Speaker 4: don't get off their butt and maybe they didn't study
- 49:12Speaker 4: in school And that's another reason why I'm frustrated. I'm
- 49:15Speaker 4: sure you are is education. That's the biggest mistake conservatives
- 49:20Speaker 4: made was taking our eye off education now and giving
- 49:27Speaker 4: all these kids tablets. I was watching this thing last
- 49:29Speaker 4: night because I'm a news freak. I was watching this
- 49:31Speaker 4: thing last night on AI and tablets, and all the
- 49:34Speaker 4: kids now are just not even studying anymore, that not
- 49:37Speaker 4: learning because they're just going online and finding the answer
- 49:40Speaker 4: in two seconds. Why should I do the math? If
- 49:42Speaker 4: I could just get someone to do it for me?
- 49:44Speaker 4: What we're destroyed? We literally social media. I think we
- 49:49Speaker 4: have so many things that and that's why I think
- 49:53Speaker 4: the train is moving down the track so fast. And
- 49:56Speaker 4: I think while the people who listen to this show vote,
- 50:01Speaker 4: there are so.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Many lazy yeah, just don't vote.
- 50:05Speaker 4: Got money whatever Republicans who say I'm doing fine, what
- 50:09Speaker 4: do I care?
- 50:10Speaker 3: Especially with Trump and the White House, I think some
- 50:11Speaker 3: of those people only really vote when the wrong guy's
- 50:14Speaker 3: in the White House, and as long as it's a conservative,
- 50:15Speaker 3: even if they don't love Trump, as long as he's there,
- 50:18Speaker 3: they're not.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Going to show up.
- 50:20Speaker 4: Can we say, do you love Trump?
- 50:21Speaker 2: Do I love Trump? I don't love Trump.
- 50:23Speaker 4: I know people ever love Trump.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Now, I know people that would tell me that they'd
- 50:27Speaker 3: like take a bullet for the guy, And I wouldn't
- 50:28Speaker 3: do that for any politician.
- 50:29Speaker 2: And I know Trump's barely a politician, even though he's
- 50:32Speaker 2: the president. But I'm not.
- 50:33Speaker 3: I'm not the kind of guy to jump in front
- 50:34Speaker 3: of a bullet for any any political person, right, And
- 50:38Speaker 3: so I don't. I don't dislike him at all, and
- 50:40Speaker 3: I happen to agree with many of the things he's done,
- 50:43Speaker 3: even though I would have done it differently from that
- 50:45Speaker 3: messaging standpoint. But I do agree with almost everything that
- 50:49Speaker 3: I agree with. The fight with Ron I agree with. Yeah,
- 50:53Speaker 3: I agree with a lot of the decisions we've made.
- 50:55Speaker 2: So again and the.
- 50:58Speaker 4: Horrible when he did not you is the state of
- 51:00Speaker 4: the Union because I get paid that help people messaging
- 51:04Speaker 4: and this stuff. Yeah, right, and you've been in the
- 51:07Speaker 4: media forever, so we both know that the state of
- 51:11Speaker 4: the Union. This hour and twenty minute speech where he
- 51:14Speaker 4: talked about Iran for four minutes, I thought, will go
- 51:18Speaker 4: down as one of the big mistakes.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Because you think the message should be that we're helping
- 51:23Speaker 3: to liberate people that have been treated horribly by a
- 51:26Speaker 3: regime that supports terrorism.
- 51:28Speaker 4: And also these are people that would slash your head
- 51:31Speaker 4: off and blow up your family. They send people to
- 51:35Speaker 4: kill you every online on drugs this morning, which I still,
- 51:39Speaker 4: you know, pay attention to, even though he's sort of
- 51:42Speaker 4: gone off the end. Yes, but there was a story
- 51:45Speaker 4: about this video that they put out from Iran about
- 51:48Speaker 4: killing Baron Trump. Okay, if for no other reason that
- 51:54Speaker 4: a country is threatening to kill our president's son, whether
- 51:58Speaker 4: you hate Trump or love Trump or whatever.
- 52:01Speaker 2: We can't tolerate that.
- 52:02Speaker 4: And I've been so frustrated how the media and the
- 52:06Speaker 4: Democratic Party are not supporting our country and our troops.
- 52:13Speaker 4: And they'll always say yeah, and the troops are doing
- 52:15Speaker 4: a great job. But right we're running any ammunition. You know,
- 52:19Speaker 4: we don't have any fuel for the boats. The toilets
- 52:21Speaker 4: don't work in the USS Lincoln. Oh my gosh, I
- 52:25Speaker 4: used to crap in the woods covering had games. Okay,
- 52:29Speaker 4: I did and got mosquito bites on my butt. I mean, really,
- 52:34Speaker 4: why did we become so soft?
- 52:36Speaker 3: We are soft? Week times, great week men. I want
- 52:39Speaker 3: to go back to something. Did you think Trump did
- 52:40Speaker 3: better in his first term?
- 52:42Speaker 4: Yes?
- 52:42Speaker 3: Okay, now here's what's interesting to me his messaging didn't change.
- 52:46Speaker 3: I think that he's been the same guy the whole time.
- 52:48Speaker 3: But I think that during his second term he has
- 52:51Speaker 3: cared less than he cared the first time, which was
- 52:54Speaker 3: barely any at all about the way he's being represented.
- 52:56Speaker 3: And I also think Trump knows that no matter what
- 52:59Speaker 3: he does, the media will hate him. He broke he
- 53:02Speaker 3: peace deal after peace deal in his first couple months
- 53:05Speaker 3: in office this time around, and they didn't talk about that.
- 53:07Speaker 3: I know, you can roll your eyes and say, well,
- 53:09Speaker 3: some of those peace deals didn't feel as big as others,
- 53:12Speaker 3: but still they didn't talk about it.
- 53:13Speaker 4: No doubt that he was trying to prevent conflict.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Right, and they gave him no credit for that.
- 53:18Speaker 3: And had it been a Democrat, the way media would
- 53:20Speaker 3: have responded that, even this fight with Iron I've been
- 53:23Speaker 3: saying this on the show I was doing in the
- 53:25Speaker 3: evenings here is that had it been a Democrat that
- 53:27Speaker 3: started this fight, humanitarian effort to save people would be
- 53:31Speaker 3: the headline of it everywhere. Sure, and it's just because
- 53:34Speaker 3: it's Trump. The media would not have received that message
- 53:37Speaker 3: even if Trump was delivering it. So my opinion is
- 53:39Speaker 3: that he can't message better because they'll refuse his messaging
- 53:43Speaker 3: all the time.
- 53:44Speaker 4: I will disagree.
- 53:45Speaker 2: You want to talk about that in the next hour.
- 53:47Speaker 4: If I'm here? Sure? If I stay?
- 53:50Speaker 2: Are you contemplating leaving?
- 53:51Speaker 4: No, I wouldn't say it's some big thought. I know
- 53:54Speaker 4: I love you to death. Actually, I think we're going
- 53:56Speaker 4: to be buddies forever awesome, and we're gonna get callers. Uh,
- 54:00Speaker 4: call in. I know the number. What is it? Oh,
- 54:03Speaker 4: two eight one five five eight. I gotta turn like
- 54:06Speaker 4: my net three five seven three eight two eight one
- 54:09Speaker 4: five five eight five seven three eight. Can we put
- 54:12Speaker 4: the darn phone number in front of my face? Because
- 54:15Speaker 4: I'm on air. We're alive here at k s V
- 54:19Speaker 4: in Houston, Texas, where as hot as you know what hey,
- 54:33Speaker 4: I'm saying
