- 1:08Speaker 3: Look, it's been a long time.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Yes, tell the listeners who you are and what you do.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yes, my name is Martha Young.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Well, I'm an elder now, so I'm for advantis to elder.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I have an organization called I'm Not Broken Who also now,
- 1:30Speaker 2: I do like conferences and I also I'm doing she
- 1:34Speaker 2: Rotse Award, So an author which I'm gonad to talk
- 1:39Speaker 2: to you about. The next one because hey, I need
- 1:41Speaker 2: to get this next one out and get it done correctly.
- 1:45Speaker 5: I got you, yes, ma'am.
- 1:47Speaker 2: A grandmother ten, you got a trilling team and the
- 1:53Speaker 2: football team. First grand daughter graduate weight.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Nice, congratulations, I'm not that's a blessing.
- 2:04Speaker 5: We're gonna get into the organization part. I am not broken.
- 2:08Speaker 5: What's the parted you to start the organization?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Well, I'm a survivor domestic. I had been with him
- 2:17Speaker 2: since I was eighteen years old, so kids and all,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and I had a a daughter who passed away with
- 2:24Speaker 2: counselor and just living life struggling. I had, you know,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I was homeless at one time. You know, I knew
- 2:31Speaker 2: how to be what there was no lights, no food,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and had kids and it was like the start over
- 2:38Speaker 2: for me. So by me going through all of that
- 2:42Speaker 2: and writing down in a journey every day of my
- 2:45Speaker 2: pain and what I went.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Through or whatever. And I moved to Texas, I met.
- 2:51Speaker 2: This lady who was journaling and she was like introducing
- 2:54Speaker 2: me to different people.
- 2:55Speaker 3: And a lady asked me to say, what is it that.
- 2:58Speaker 2: You want to do? And I'm like, you know what,
- 3:02Speaker 2: I want to take my pain into purpose. So I
- 3:06Speaker 2: went to sleep on it, thought about it. Kay, But
- 3:09Speaker 2: I'm not broken, So I'm not broken. It's behind me
- 3:12Speaker 2: everything that I have went through.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Absolutely, I love that.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I love that more people need to share their stories
- 3:19Speaker 4: because I feel like a lot of women and men,
- 3:21Speaker 4: because men go through domestic violence suit so for in silence,
- 3:25Speaker 4: because they feel like they can't tell anybody because the
- 3:28Speaker 4: first thing that happens is what they get judged or
- 3:31Speaker 4: people say, well you need to leave or tell people
- 3:33Speaker 4: what they need to do. Sometimes it's not easy to leave,
- 3:36Speaker 4: especially when you have kids and you have love for
- 3:38Speaker 4: this person.
- 3:39Speaker 5: It's not always easy to just walk away.
- 3:43Speaker 4: So in meeting a lady that asked you what you
- 3:48Speaker 4: wanted to do and forming an organization, I am not broken.
- 3:52Speaker 4: How did that make you feel in that moment to
- 3:55Speaker 4: have somebody say.
- 3:57Speaker 5: What is it that you want to do? Because not
- 3:59Speaker 5: all the we're not always asked that question?
- 4:01Speaker 3: Right?
- 4:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 4:03Speaker 3: I was. To be honest, I was stuck. I'm like,
- 4:05Speaker 3: why is she asked me?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Because I would have never dream about having an organization
- 4:10Speaker 2: that was NOTZZ. I wanted to start over, but I
- 4:13Speaker 2: just didn't know at that time. I didn't know what
- 4:15Speaker 2: I wanted to do, and it's a I'm not gonna shay,
- 4:18Speaker 2: it's a shame. But it's like coming from no leaving
- 4:22Speaker 2: your mom house to his house, having kids. Now you married,
- 4:27Speaker 2: and your whole world was around the kids and him.
- 4:31Speaker 2: So I didn't mean I didn't know what my purpose was.
- 4:33Speaker 2: So when she asked me, like, what did you want
- 4:35Speaker 2: to do? I'm like, why is she asking me that?
- 4:38Speaker 2: And I went home and I mean, it took me
- 4:40Speaker 2: a minute to even think about what it is that
- 4:42Speaker 2: I wanted to do. And I remember sitting in my
- 4:45Speaker 2: living room and just thought about it. Man, I'm such
- 4:49Speaker 2: an overcomer, like people had counted me out, and you know,
- 4:53Speaker 2: I supposed to be dead because it'd been numerous times that.
- 4:55Speaker 3: He told me he was going to take me out.
- 4:58Speaker 3: So I'm like, man, like, he never took his hands
- 5:00Speaker 3: off of me. So I was like, you know what
- 5:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna I want to tear my paint into that purpose.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Absolutely I love that. So how does I Am not broken?
- 5:10Speaker 4: Support and empower other survivors of domestic abuse? Like tell
- 5:15Speaker 4: people like the behind the scenes of I am not broken?
- 5:19Speaker 3: Oh man, I'm not broken.
- 5:20Speaker 2: A supposed to be in a like transition home because
- 5:23Speaker 2: I didn't even know when I was going through that
- 5:25Speaker 2: exactly where I was gonna go, even though I had family.
- 5:29Speaker 2: But like you say, I mean I was ashamed, so
- 5:31Speaker 2: I didn't know what I was where I was gonna go.
- 5:33Speaker 2: So it started out as transitioning, and then I took it.
- 5:37Speaker 3: And took it as a healing ministry.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I wanted to show people that hey, and I didn't
- 5:43Speaker 2: I thought women went through it. I ain't think men
- 5:45Speaker 2: went through it until I talked to my brother and
- 5:47Speaker 2: realized that his ex wife was trying.
- 5:49Speaker 3: To have him killed.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was like, well, and it's the financial and I
- 5:55Speaker 2: didn't think about the sexual abuse. I ain't think about
- 5:57Speaker 2: none of that, And so it's a healing ministry. I
- 6:01Speaker 2: want you to be able them to be to come
- 6:03Speaker 2: and release it. That's what I support on support on
- 6:05Speaker 2: helping you heal, m helping you find a place for
- 6:09Speaker 2: you to go and know and come up with a
- 6:11Speaker 2: plan like what you're gonna do so you don't be
- 6:14Speaker 2: stuck in that same era next year or the next
- 6:17Speaker 2: day or whatever, because like you said, we're scared to need,
- 6:20Speaker 2: we're scared to know just to come at that place
- 6:24Speaker 2: because it comfortable m H.
- 6:27Speaker 4: And I feel like some survivors of the mystic abuse
- 6:30Speaker 4: they don't share their stories with their families because they
- 6:33Speaker 4: probably feel not just a shame, but afraid that that
- 6:37Speaker 4: person that's hurting them might try to go after their family.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Because I've seen that happen and I've heard about that happen.
- 6:44Speaker 4: So what would you say that anyone who's listening that
- 6:48Speaker 4: feels like they are alone, who is suffering in silence
- 6:51Speaker 4: about going to someone to try and get the help
- 6:56Speaker 4: to get out.
- 6:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna say this here.
- 6:59Speaker 2: When I was going through it, I didn't tell nobody
- 7:01Speaker 2: because I went back twenty plus times and I didn't
- 7:05Speaker 2: want my family to be involved in it, and knowing
- 7:08Speaker 2: that I was gonna go back, but it took something
- 7:12Speaker 2: to happen in order for me to want to move
- 7:15Speaker 2: out the way. But even then, I can say this
- 7:18Speaker 2: because that even then I still was trying to fight
- 7:21Speaker 2: for my marriage back. And it's only because it feels
- 7:26Speaker 2: norm and we have to realize norm it's not a
- 7:30Speaker 2: good thing.
- 7:30Speaker 3: That means we used to stand in that dark place,
- 7:34Speaker 3: so we have to we have to come.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Out of that dark place and to be honest or
- 7:39Speaker 2: whatever to be real, transparent.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It was the mirror that made me look at myself different.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Mirror.
- 7:47Speaker 2: So I had I had moved on from my ex husband,
- 7:54Speaker 2: but we were still seeing each other. Weren't divorce yet,
- 7:57Speaker 2: but we were still seeing each other. And it was
- 8:00Speaker 2: like a sneaker sneaking, and it made me feel like
- 8:03Speaker 2: that I was the other woman because he was living
- 8:05Speaker 2: with another woman. And he would hide his vehic because
- 8:09Speaker 2: so nobody would see that me and him were still
- 8:12Speaker 2: being with each other. He didn't want his family to
- 8:14Speaker 2: know that he had I'm still messing with my with
- 8:17Speaker 2: my wife, you know.
- 8:18Speaker 3: And so one day he would.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Well, he always would come over for his lunchtime, and
- 8:24Speaker 2: one day, men and him.
- 8:25Speaker 3: We had laid up in the bed together and his
- 8:29Speaker 3: phone ring.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It was her, and he wanted me to be quiet,
- 8:33Speaker 2: and I laid there and just listened to him talk
- 8:36Speaker 2: like I wasn't even there. And so when he left,
- 8:40Speaker 2: I got up and went to my bathroom and I
- 8:42Speaker 2: just looked at myself in the mirror, and I didn't
- 8:45Speaker 2: see Martha no more.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I didn't even see friend and the little girl. I
- 8:48Speaker 3: didn't see none of that, no more.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I didn't know who she was, and see all I
- 8:52Speaker 2: saw was a woman that was good on the outside,
- 8:57Speaker 2: was broken on the inside, and everything that he had
- 9:00Speaker 2: took me through, I was counting on the inside. So
- 9:05Speaker 2: the mirror showed me who I really was, that I
- 9:09Speaker 2: was no longer that person anymore. I had let him
- 9:12Speaker 2: take me through enough that I lost myself trying to
- 9:15Speaker 2: hold on to a marriage, be a wife, be a mother,
- 9:19Speaker 2: and forgot about who I was, lost myself any.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yes, showed me me. And if a mirror show you
- 9:26Speaker 3: reflection of who you.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Are, yeah, yeah, that's deep. And as a life coach
- 9:32Speaker 4: that's one of the exercises that I take my people through.
- 9:35Speaker 4: You have to for seven days, stand in the mirror
- 9:39Speaker 4: for three to five minutes and figure out what you
- 9:42Speaker 4: love or do not love about yourself, and then we
- 9:46Speaker 4: come together to figure out how to overcome those things.
- 9:49Speaker 5: And I've had.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Countless clients tell me that they couldn't. They didn't, they
- 9:54Speaker 4: didn't last a minute, they couldn't look at themselves in
- 9:57Speaker 4: the mirror. And so I think that you hit something
- 10:00Speaker 4: hard by saying it starts from looking within right, and
- 10:05Speaker 4: until you can like what you see looking back at you,
- 10:08Speaker 4: you're not going to go through that healing journey. Are
- 10:10Speaker 4: you all start to never finished? Because I don't know
- 10:13Speaker 4: about your healing journey, but I've gone there, and it
- 10:16Speaker 4: was hard as hell, right trying to get through it,
- 10:20Speaker 4: you know. And I think that more people need to
- 10:25Speaker 4: stop putting a stigma on therapy or counseling or life
- 10:28Speaker 4: coaching and realize that you cannot do it.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Not do it because that's what the community said.
- 10:35Speaker 4: You don't need therapy, right, go somewhere and lay down
- 10:38Speaker 4: or you know whatever what goes on this house, staying
- 10:40Speaker 4: in this house and type things. But until you realize
- 10:43Speaker 4: that some of the patterns and some of the traditions
- 10:45Speaker 4: that we've grew up around, they're not they're not healthy
- 10:49Speaker 4: at all.
- 10:50Speaker 3: You're right, you're right.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And I was on a radio show one time and
- 10:56Speaker 2: the lady told me, she was like, I just want
- 10:58Speaker 2: to know what, how did you get through it?
- 11:00Speaker 3: You know, tell me what it is or whatever.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But before then she told me I couldn't mention God
- 11:07Speaker 2: at all because it would make the women feel like
- 11:10Speaker 2: they would have to be saved. And I had to
- 11:13Speaker 2: tell her, like, no, that's not true. You know, you know,
- 11:17Speaker 2: I didn't have no one to talk to because I
- 11:20Speaker 2: didn't want nobody to know my business.
- 11:22Speaker 3: And that was the problem.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I could have talked to someone, but at the same time,
- 11:26Speaker 2: I talked to God through the whole process. I begged God, like, God,
- 11:30Speaker 2: just how did I end up here? Get me out
- 11:33Speaker 2: this situation? And to be transparent again. He did so
- 11:36Speaker 2: many times, but I went back.
- 11:40Speaker 5: He did.
- 11:40Speaker 2: He also everything that I took that I asked him
- 11:43Speaker 2: to do. But I went back into the situation. And
- 11:47Speaker 2: that's what a lot of us do. We asked God
- 11:50Speaker 2: to remove all some of stuff, and we go wrap
- 11:52Speaker 2: back in that same situation. And that was my problem.
- 11:56Speaker 2: And so I wish that I was able, like to
- 11:59Speaker 2: come to family members or be able to tell them exactly,
- 12:03Speaker 2: but why I'm bringing in my mess when I know
- 12:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna go back And I went back them minute time.
- 12:08Speaker 2: So it was gonna be hard to see, to let
- 12:12Speaker 2: them see me hurting and to hurt them.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, and see you said something that's very transparent.
- 12:20Speaker 5: I knew I was gonna go back that that that
- 12:26Speaker 5: right there is so deep.
- 12:28Speaker 4: And thank you for sharing that, being vulnerable enough to
- 12:30Speaker 4: share with myself and the audience, because somebody is listening.
- 12:34Speaker 5: That need to know, needed to know that they're not
- 12:36Speaker 5: the only one that felt like that. Our feels like that.
- 12:39Speaker 5: And I believe that our stories are tied to our
- 12:44Speaker 5: purpose to.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Help other people get through the obstacles and challenges that
- 12:47Speaker 4: they faced in life. So thank you for sharing your
- 12:50Speaker 4: story and a little bit behind. I am not broken organization.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Let's get behind the inspiration of the She Rose Awards.
- 13:00Speaker 5: How did they come about? And what?
- 13:02Speaker 4: Why did you decide to honor other overcomers? Like, tell
- 13:07Speaker 4: the listeners, how did that come about?
- 13:08Speaker 5: How did she Rose Awards come about?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yes?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Well, you know how they do the like the Yallas
- 13:15Speaker 2: and the Awar ceremonies or whatever. Well, I got ready
- 13:19Speaker 2: to nominate somebody for one and they were like one
- 13:24Speaker 2: fifty to nominate them.
- 13:26Speaker 5: And I was like what.
- 13:28Speaker 3: And so I went and I was talking to my apostle.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I was like, did you know did you gotta pay
- 13:33Speaker 3: to nominate somebody?
- 13:35Speaker 5: And she's like yes, and you.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Got to pay for extra stuff. The numberees got to
- 13:39Speaker 2: pay for extra stuff.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Right, I'm like what.
- 13:42Speaker 2: So I was sitting there and I was like, man,
- 13:45Speaker 2: I want to do something. I want to do something
- 13:48Speaker 2: that I could sold back into ladies. I mean, why
- 13:50Speaker 2: are we paying Why the ladies who being nominated have
- 13:54Speaker 2: to pay to be recognized for what they do in
- 13:57Speaker 2: the community or what they do for others period. So
- 14:00Speaker 2: I want to sop back into them. So I'm sitting there,
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm thinking, like, you know what I'm sitting there, I'm
- 14:06Speaker 2: like messing with the internet or whatever.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna do my own. So I was doing.
- 14:12Speaker 2: This thing called Earn Your Wings Tour and I met
- 14:15Speaker 2: these two wonderful ladies, and I got close to one
- 14:19Speaker 2: of them, Miss Meek, and you would get to meet her,
- 14:21Speaker 2: and she had an organization for domestic violence, and I
- 14:25Speaker 2: was telling her my vision. She's I got somebody want
- 14:29Speaker 2: to I want to I want you to meet and
- 14:32Speaker 2: that's Miss B.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Miss B.
- 14:34Speaker 2: You'll meet her too, because she have an organization as well.
- 14:37Speaker 2: And she was like, She's like, I'm gonna help you
- 14:39Speaker 2: with this vision. And she said, what you're gonna name it?
- 14:42Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know. So I again, I like
- 14:45Speaker 3: to sleep on stuff for a couple of days.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And I came back and said she rose, meaning that
- 14:52Speaker 2: she had overcame her struggles. She have came about the darkness,
- 14:57Speaker 2: she has not no longer shamed. She's no, I'm gonna
- 15:00Speaker 2: have to go through something. Even if she goes through it,
- 15:02Speaker 2: guess what, she's still gonna rows out the situation that
- 15:06Speaker 2: she was in.
- 15:07Speaker 3: That and my.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Favorite prayer, and then you be been saying these press
- 15:11Speaker 2: with little kids. We grew up on the prayer that
- 15:13Speaker 2: made us pread pread because some twenty third I love it.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I ain't understand it until I got older, that he
- 15:20Speaker 2: walked through the valley a shadow of death, and these
- 15:22Speaker 2: women have walked through that valley, and they have walked
- 15:26Speaker 2: the walk of shame already. So she rose, We rose
- 15:30Speaker 2: from everything that everybody put us through.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Oh I love it. I love it. I love it.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Okay, So hell, tell I know that you are coming
- 15:42Speaker 4: to the area, because you know you're in Texas.
- 15:45Speaker 5: I'm in Louisiana. You're doing the event in Louisiana. Tell
- 15:48Speaker 5: the listeners who.
- 15:49Speaker 4: May be interested. I don't know if you still have tickets, Availa,
- 15:51Speaker 4: or or any space or whatever.
- 15:53Speaker 5: So tell them, like.
- 15:54Speaker 4: How they can actually support She rolls organization, well, the
- 16:00Speaker 4: awards or I am not broken organization if they want
- 16:03Speaker 4: to nominate other women, because I know you're gonna be
- 16:05Speaker 4: doing it, you know, Yach.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Year, stuff like that.
- 16:08Speaker 4: So let's talk to the talk to the listeners about
- 16:10Speaker 4: how they can nominate people, how they can support that.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I am not broken organization as well.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Okay, so she rose when I when I know it
- 16:20Speaker 2: started off, I had like maybe three. The goal was
- 16:23Speaker 2: only ten. I have thirteen. I had to cut it off.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I had to stop it completely. And when it came
- 16:30Speaker 2: down to inviting people, the max will hold in their
- 16:34Speaker 2: room was one hundred and ten.
- 16:37Speaker 3: I'm at the capacity.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Wow.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So it's I needed to.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I mean, God showed me favorite and it just let
- 16:45Speaker 2: me know that it is supposed to happen, you know.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And so people with the nominating for next year for
- 16:52Speaker 2: in the Houston area.
- 16:53Speaker 3: So I'm gonna do it again. I'm definitely gonna do
- 16:56Speaker 3: it again. But I'm gonna do it. God gave me
- 16:58Speaker 3: a bigger vision on this Rach here.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I'm bringing back the lou mister one I did this year,
- 17:04Speaker 2: and I'm gonna have them as speakers everywhere.
- 17:06Speaker 3: And you know, I got to bring you back as well.
- 17:09Speaker 2: And I'm gonna I'm gonna turn it into award slash
- 17:15Speaker 2: comforts because these ladies gonna tell they stir and how
- 17:19Speaker 2: you know, they encourage somebody else to do it, you know.
- 17:22Speaker 2: And I was talking to my apostle this morning and
- 17:24Speaker 2: I would just say, yes, do you need to do
- 17:25Speaker 2: it this way? And she Rose is different. I'm not
- 17:29Speaker 2: gonna even give you a certificate. Because you got a certificate,
- 17:32Speaker 2: You're gonna sit on a wild to say that you know, no,
- 17:35Speaker 2: this is being young. I'm giving you something that you
- 17:38Speaker 2: could keep and carry with you all the time. And
- 17:41Speaker 2: when you feel that you're down about something, you canna
- 17:44Speaker 2: look at it and say, you know what I done
- 17:46Speaker 2: overcame that. So I'm the next one, Houston, I am
- 17:53Speaker 2: next out for this one.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yes, I'm so excited and thank you for having me
- 17:58Speaker 4: as a speaker at the award.
- 18:00Speaker 5: I am honored.
- 18:01Speaker 4: I cannot wait to share it to the people where
- 18:04Speaker 4: God has been downloading in me.
- 18:06Speaker 5: And it's just.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Gonna be a beautiful night. It's gonna be a beautiful night.

- 18:22Speaker 5: Now.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I do know that they're gonna be video in it,
- 18:26Speaker 2: but I shouldn't had nobody to come in and like
- 18:29Speaker 2: broadcasting or whatever said hey, I want to go live
- 18:32Speaker 2: with it or whatever, but that that could be an option.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Maybe I could talk because this here, I would have
- 18:37Speaker 2: never thought that I would be able to hold it
- 18:41Speaker 2: in a place like this.
- 18:42Speaker 3: They gave me the downtown or Councilman's Museum, you.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Know, downtown b arm and things to like Miss b
- 18:50Speaker 2: you know, she broked her magic. She's close with the
- 18:53Speaker 2: people and she got it for me, so I owe
- 18:56Speaker 2: her everything her Miss Mikhel. So it's I haven't got
- 19:01Speaker 2: to that point, but I would talk to them to
- 19:04Speaker 2: see if I could wee ca an broadcast. If they
- 19:06Speaker 2: have a way to go line, then show exactly what
- 19:09Speaker 2: we're doing.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Absolutely, And I love how you're under these women who
- 19:14Speaker 4: have fought like hell to overcome the adversity that they
- 19:19Speaker 4: have faced in life. And I know that it's gonna
- 19:22Speaker 4: be a beautiful night. I have to make sure I
- 19:23Speaker 4: have some waterproof of my scare because I know it's
- 19:26Speaker 4: gonna be it's gonna be an experienced y'all. It's gonna
- 19:28Speaker 4: be an experienced. So what are the future plans? And
- 19:31Speaker 4: I know you just talked about she Rose Houston next year.
- 19:35Speaker 4: What are the future friends for I am not broken?
- 19:38Speaker 2: Well I'm not broken, and I don't know if you
- 19:40Speaker 2: see it on Facebook. I just teamed up with the
- 19:43Speaker 2: two ladies I told you by it earlier and we
- 19:46Speaker 2: just produced an organization called No More Silence Southern Alliance
- 19:52Speaker 2: and we're going in and we're fighting the helping women's
- 19:55Speaker 2: come out these situation.
- 19:57Speaker 3: And like I said, I'm and that's on it. I'm
- 20:00Speaker 3: I broke inside.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I'm working with my church, which is the Louisiana the
- 20:04Speaker 2: Messiah House, and me and Apostle is getting together to
- 20:08Speaker 2: try to get some transitional homes together.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I'm working with some transition homes out here and.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I'm not broken through other organizations that try the House
- 20:18Speaker 2: and Women Conference.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I mean, I'm on this healing journey.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I mean, I I mean I want some ladies to
- 20:25Speaker 2: start release or something so we could be better. Because
- 20:28Speaker 2: what I've learned that when we hold that stuff inside
- 20:31Speaker 2: that damns us on the inside, we can't move on
- 20:33Speaker 2: to the next person.
- 20:34Speaker 3: And some of us supposed to be white, but we
- 20:36Speaker 3: hold onto it.
- 20:37Speaker 2: What the ex husband does or the ex wife have
- 20:40Speaker 2: done something I'm gonna do. And because men's have asked
- 20:43Speaker 2: me why I'm just doing women's when it got mens
- 20:46Speaker 2: go through it.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna maybe do a co ed one. Okay, it
- 20:51Speaker 3: may not be that year, but I'm working on it.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I'm working and I have talked to my brother who's
- 20:57Speaker 2: a minister and asked him to help me out with
- 20:59Speaker 2: the means and put one to.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Get a call I have not forgot. Okay, so I'm
- 21:06Speaker 3: working on that too.
- 21:08Speaker 2: But she rose every year, and I'm gonna hold it
- 21:12Speaker 2: in different areas. I'm not gonna just do it in Louisiana.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I'm not gonna just do it in Texas. I'm planning
- 21:17Speaker 2: on put making it go wherever God allowed me to go.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Absolutely, I love that. I love that, and I know
- 21:24Speaker 4: that God is gonna continue to open doors. People don't
- 21:27Speaker 4: understand the power of favor, but it is. It is
- 21:30Speaker 4: all through this organization, and I'm excited. I'm excited for it.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I'm excited for you. Thank you for using your story
- 21:39Speaker 4: to help inspire other people to share their stories so
- 21:42Speaker 4: that other people who are going through it can see
- 21:47Speaker 4: that there is a way.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Out right, yes, And that's the whole purpose that it always
- 21:52Speaker 2: says that you know, once you went through it, it's
- 21:54Speaker 2: your certain you out of it. It's your time to
- 21:56Speaker 2: tell somebody else how to get out of it. And
- 21:59Speaker 2: that's been the think I have cared with me forever
- 22:03Speaker 2: now that I got to help somebody else.
- 22:05Speaker 5: Out absolutely paying it forward, paying it forward.
- 22:08Speaker 4: So if anybody would like to donate or anything, so
- 22:11Speaker 4: I am not broken. Do you have like a website
- 22:13Speaker 4: or you're on social media? How can they find you
- 22:16Speaker 4: so that they can support the organization?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yes, I'm on Facebook. I have I'm working on my
- 22:21Speaker 2: website right now. So I'm on Facebook on the Martha

- 22:38Speaker 4: and anything to the listeners today?
- 22:41Speaker 5: Oh?
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yes, I just want to say that, you know, no
- 22:45Speaker 2: matter what the situation is, the circumstances, just keep going.
- 22:50Speaker 3: You know, you may feel like that you're in the darkness,
- 22:52Speaker 3: it's only for a moment.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And I remember out at the time that I saw
- 22:57Speaker 2: no light. I just saw darkness. But when God showed
- 23:01Speaker 2: me that if one man on one on the left
- 23:04Speaker 2: side of me and one man on another side of me,
- 23:06Speaker 2: and they were pushing me to go to keep pushing
- 23:08Speaker 2: every time I every time I fail, they were flipping
- 23:11Speaker 2: me back up again. So that was a sign saying
- 23:14Speaker 2: that you know what we made file dollar. But we
- 23:16Speaker 2: were definitely gonna get up, Joe, are definitely gonna come
- 23:19Speaker 2: in the morning, So don't give up. Keep going like
- 23:22Speaker 2: this is not the way we're supposed to live. Got
- 23:25Speaker 2: into ten for us to be in sadness. He no,
- 23:28Speaker 2: we were gonna have some days that we are sad,
- 23:31Speaker 2: but at the no, this this, no, it's gonna it's
