And the Lord's saying today, get ready, because one word will begin to separate

I feel there's a release. The moment I just said that, I just feel that God

I don't know what you're in need of today. I don't know what you're in need

of financially or physically.

But the Lord says, I've just opened up the window of heaven.

And as I'm delivering this message today, get ready because favor is about to

invade your life like you've never seen before.

It doesn't matter what the circumstance looks like.

The Lord's saying today, my favor is about to be downloaded in your life.

I haven't left you and I haven't forsaken you.

At favor. And I want to look at the book of Ruth today.

The book of Ruth is more than just a love story.

It's a story of God's favor at work.

Favor doesn't mean life is easy,

but it means God is working behind the scenes to position his people for his purpose in your life.

And so today, in this theme of favor, I want to entitle this message today,

Favor Finds the Faithful.

Favor Finds the Faithful. See, when you keep going, God starts moving.

If you keep your wheels moving, God starts moving for you on his behalf.

See, God specializes in ordinary days becoming extraordinary days.

I feel whenever I mention the word favor today at Epicenter,

that favor is hitting Epicenter people.

And favor is hitting the people that are about to enter into Epicenter.

And favor is about not only about to hit Epicenter, but it's about to hit Epicenter's finances.

It's about to hit Epicenter's ministries.

The Lord's saying today, favor is about to be downloaded in Epicenter.

There's a turnaround that is happening right now in the supernatural because.

And that's exactly what happened with Ruth in this story in the book of Ruth.

Let's look at Ruth chapter number 1 and verse number 16 because the Bible says

in Ruth chapter number one in verse number 16 through 18, the Bible says,

but Ruth replied, don't ask me to leave you and turn back.

Whenever you go, I will go.

Whenever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God.

Whatever you, whenever you die, I will die and there I will be buried.

May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us.

When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said nothing more.

Where you go, I will go.

How many hear the Lord saying that today? Where you go, God, I will go.

As the Lord is moving today, I want to go. I want to go where he goes.

I want to go to the heights. I want to go to the lows. Wherever he goes, I want to go.

In Hebrews chapter number 11 and verse number 6, the Bible says,

and it is impossible to please God without faith.

Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exits and that he rewards

those who sincerely seek him.

Favor often begins with faithfulness before it becomes visible.

Those that have been faithful, the Lord's saying, your faithfulness is not gone unnoticed.

Your faithfulness, the behind-the-scenes things that you have done for the Lord.

There's many of you that could testify right now of the things that you've done

in secret without any acknowledgement.

And the Lord's saying, you've captured my heart.

Because you are faithful. And your faithfulness is about to come alive with

a greater faith than you've ever had.

And when that faith comes alive, the Lord says, my favor will follow.

My favor will chase you down.

My favor will invade your life.

And so today, favor finds the faithful.

It will find you. If you're faithful with a little, get ready.

The Bible says you'll be ruler over many.

Favor finds the faithful. Now, let me give you some points today.

Point number one, favor begins with commitment.

In this society today, that is one of the hardest things for people to do is commit.

It's hard for people to commit. But if you want favor in your life,

favor begins with commitment.

In the book of Ruth, chapter 1, verse 16, but Ruth replied, don't ask me to

leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go.

Hey, Ruth is saying, I'm committed to you. I'm not going to leave you.

If you die, I'm going to die. Where you're buried, I'm going to be buried.

I mean, she committed to Naomi.

Ruth stayed when others walked away.

And commitment attracts God's blessings.

If you stay committed to the Lord, If you stay committed with your whole heart,

some of you have been committed for a long time.

And when you stay committed, commitment attracts God's blessings.

If you haven't received any blessings yet, I just want to speak this and prophesy

this to you. They're on their way.

Come on, they're on their way. because we opened up heaven today and I feel

that God is downloading favor in people's lives.

Favor like you've never seen before. There's going to be a favor of overflow

begin to be released in your life.

Faithfulness is proven during difficult seasons.

If you're in a difficult season right now.

You need to be faithful. No matter what, you just need to praise God.

There's two times to praise Him, when you want to and when you don't,

in the good times and in the bad times.

And the Lord's saying today, when faithfulness is proven during,

difficult seasons, when you're in a difficult season, no matter how bad that

season is, if you just stay faithful and committed, sometimes we We just got

to have that attitude where we say, God, I'm going to praise you no matter what the outcome.

I'm going to praise you no matter what the outcome. And you guys have heard

me share the story of Jack Rubel. He was one of our board members whenever we

were in Paonia, Colorado. And this man.

When he walked, he looked like he was a drunk. And he would wobble everywhere he would go.

And it's because when he was in the Vietnam War, he was in one of those big,
13:43
trucks and a grenade blew up next to that truck.

And when it did, it knocked his equilibrium off and he would stumble around everywhere he would go.

And even when I first met him, I didn't know what was going on.

And he explained everything to me.

And one day he got stopped by the police and the police wanted to arrest him

for a DUI and and he was trying to explain to him and,

and and they said well you're just going to have to come to court and explain

it to the judge and so he came to me on a on a Sunday morning and he said pastor

I want you to know Monday morning I'm going to the,

going to court but I want you to know something, Pastor.

If they take my license away from me tomorrow, I'm still going to praise him.

If they give me my license tomorrow, I'm still going to praise him.

No matter what the outcome is, Pastor, I want you to know something.

I'm still going to praise God.

Well, he went into that courtroom, explained his situation, and the judge said,

hey, I want to give you another card to be put on your license,

and I'm going to grant you your license.

You know what he did? He praised God no matter what the circumstance,

no matter what the outcome is.

I come to tell somebody today, God wants you to know that if you continually

praise me in the faithfulness,

in the situations that you're going through, in the difficult seasons,

he says, if you just continually praise me, my favor will follow you all the days of your life.

God honors people who refuse to quit.

He honors people who refuse to.

Somebody today, you need to break through because, man, you're ready to throw

in the towel and you're ready to quit. You're ready to give up.

And the Lord's saying today, I'm about to honor people who refuse to quit.

And you need to get that quit mentality out of your system today because the

Lord's saying every time you hit a hard rock in the road or something.

You want to throw in the towel and say, I quit.

Have you ever been around people like that? That's all they want.

It comes into a hard time, hard season. I quit. I don't want to do this anymore.

I give up. I don't want to. But the Lord's saying today, pick that towel back

up and wipe your brow and just keep on moving.

And as you keep on moving, the Lord's saying he will honor each and every one

of you who refuse to quit.

Don't quit. Don't quit. And allow God's favor to come alive.

See, favor starts with surrender.

When you surrender to God, favor starts right there.

See, faithfulness opens doors that talents can't open.

And God's favor usually follows your faithfulness.

It will follow your faithfulness and commitment. If you commit to the Lord with

everything, my favorite scripture in the word, Les, is Proverbs 3, 5, and 6.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. You know what that means?

That means you're committing to God.

That means you're trusting him. You're not trusting your ability.

You're trusting him because there's a lot of things you can do yourself,

but there's a lot of things you need to trust God with.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding.

In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.".

Commitment is the bridge between where you are and where God is taking you.

That's what commitment is all about. God, you're doing it by faith.

You're doing it by faith. You're making a commitment to God by faith.

See, the people who experience God's greatest favor are often the ones who stay

faithful when everyone else walks away.

God wants us to be faithful. Favor finds the faithful.

Favor begins with commitment. And then point number two, favor grows through obedience.

Faithful grows through obedience.

In Ruth chapter number two, in verse number two, the Bible says,

One day Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi,

let me go out into the harvest field to pick up the stalks of grain left behind

by anyone who is kind enough to let me do it.

Naomi replied, all right, my daughter, go ahead.

See, Ruth simply obeyed.

She obeyed. See, favor grows through obedience.

She was growing through her obedience to what she was committing to.

She worked before she received. Sometimes you got to do something before you get something.

And she worked before she received. And see, God blesses the diligent.

God is looking for people who will be diligent and he will bless them.

See, small acts of obedience produce big miracles in our life.

There was a big miracle that was coming out of her obedience by going out and getting those grains.

Every act of obedience is a seed that God turns into harvest and favor.

There's a harvest coming to you, church. I don't know who this is for today,

but there's a harvest coming to you.

Don't faint. Just trust Him. There's a harvest coming.

See, you don't have to understand every step God asks you to take.

You just got to be willing to take it. If God asks you to do something, you just got to do it.

You got to do it by faith. There's some things that you got to act on by faith.

Have you ever noticed when you do act on it by faith? Seems like everything crumbles.

And it's like, I thought you told me just to trust you, God.

And now everything's crumbling.

But sometimes those crumbles are like those seeds that Ruth was picking up.

She was picking up the leftovers.

God was setting her up for something big.

I come to speak this over you today. The little things that have been happening

in your life, the Lord's saying, I'm setting them up.

For something big. Bridget, I'm just supposed to tell you that today.

God's setting you up for something big. Even though right now it doesn't seem

like he's working, the Lord's saying, I'm working.

If you could only see what I see, says the Lord.

Big things are in store. Just rest and just relax and know he's in control.

Because just as he did it for Ruth, he's about to do it for you.

So just take a deep breath. You need to read the whole book of Ruth this week.

Because the Lord's saying, what happened to Ruth is about to happen to you.

Because you've been faithful with a little. And he's about to make you ruler over many.

Favor leads you to divine appointments.

It will lead you to a divine appointment.

It happened for Ruth.

So Ruth went out and gathered grain behind the harvesters And as it happened,

She found herself working in a field that belongs to Boaz.

There was a big setup and it happened Thank you.

I come to tell that to somebody today, there's a big setup and it's about to happen.

God is about, I don't know what your Boaz is.

I know we look at Ruth and Boaz, but I don't know what your Boaz is.

Your Boaz may be a financial blessing.

It may be a breakthrough that you need. It may be a health issue that you need

a healing of. It may be that healing that you need.

And the Lord's saying today, it's being released in your life today.

Your Boaz is being released in your life today.

You need to hold on just as Ruth did. She did it all by faith and it happened.

The Lord's saying today, it's about to happen. It's about to happen.

in the house and the Boaz of healing is coming upon you today.

Church, it's happening today. The power and the it's happening.

See, the moment I said the word favor, it started, and now it's happening.

See, some things don't happen the way we think it's going to happen because

we are all planners. We like to plan everything out. We like to plan out our

blessing. I mean, we like to plan out our future.

I know Bridget is. She's a big planner. I've seen her planner book.

That's why she always, Gareth's over there, it's thicker than a calendar.

We're all like that. We want to plan things out. And then this is the problem

that happens because when we plan things out, then it rains and it cancels it.

And then what happens? There becomes a big disappointment because we plan things out.

When's the last time you just let God plant it out. When's the last time you tried God's plans?

When we start doing God's plans, I'm telling you, that's when the blessings,

that's when the favor of God will begin to captivate our life,

will begin to overwhelm our life.

See, you hear me say this over and over, we need to quit chasing the blessing

and start chasing the blesser.

And when we begin to chase the blesser, that's when the favor of God begins to happen.

She activated things. Ruth activated things by going out by faith. Come on, by faith.

She started picking up all those grains.

And then she got Boaz's eyes on her.

And if you read the book of Ruth, the rest is history.

She got her Boaz. Somebody today, get ready. It's about, it's happening.

It's happened. Nothing is accidental with God.

This story of Ruth is not accidental with God.

See, God arranges every single meeting, every single meeting.

Favor puts you in the right field at the right time.

And then the blessings of God chase you down, put you in a whirlwind because

you're in. How many are ready for a whirlwind of blessings to come your direction?

It's going to be like a hurricane and the blessings are going to be so overwhelming

there's a situation in your life.

You need to allow God to be the one that opens the door for you because he already holds the keys.

He's just waiting for you to quit fumbling through yours.

And he's waiting for us to allow him to put the key into the door so that it

You've been pushing on the door where you need to be pulling on the door you're

But what looks like coincidence is often God's providence working behind the scenes.

We've got to allow him to do the work.

That's what Ruth did. She just did it by faith. She started picking him up by faith.

Then what did Boaz do? He started throwing more handfuls on purpose.

I just hear the Lord saying, I'm getting ready to throw more handfuls on purpose.

I'm getting ready to deliver some more blessings. You just seen the tip of the

iceberg, Gareth, of what God is about to do, because you've been trusting him,

in the difficult seasons.

And the Lord's saying, I'm just seeing how much you're going to trust me.

And every step of the way the Lord's saying blessings and favor is,

being drawn towards you because you've been faithful with the little he's about

to make your ruler over much and that prophetic word that was spoke over you

last week it is coming to pass even though you walked out and you questioned it,
