- 0:00Hello friends! Welcome back to Wonderfully Made,
- 0:04Bible Stories for Children. I'm so glad you're
- 0:08here. Last time, we saw the Israelites enter
- 0:13the Promised Land. But sadly, they began to forget
- 0:17God. So, what did God do? He sent special leaders
- 0:23called Judges to help guide and rescue His people.
- 0:28Today, We'll meet one of those judges, Deborah.
- 0:32A woman full of wisdom, courage, and trust in
- 0:36God. Are you ready for her story? Let's jump
- 0:41in. Deborah was a prophetess. a woman who listened
- 0:57to God and shared his truth with others. She
- 1:01sat under a palm tree where people came to her
- 1:04for advice and help. Everyone respected her because
- 1:08she was fair, kind, and wise. One day, God gave
- 1:14Deborah a message. He told her to instruct Barak
- 1:19to gather an army, promising that he would help
- 1:22him defeat Cezara. the commander of the enemy
- 1:25forces. When Deborah shared the message, Barak
- 1:29was brave but also hesitant. He said he would
- 1:34go, but only if Deborah came with him. Deborah
- 1:39agreed to go, but she also told Barak that because
- 1:43of his hesitation, the Lord would give the victory
- 1:46into the hands of a woman. Barak gathered the
- 1:49army, just as God had instructed. and Deborah
- 1:53went with him. When the moment came to go into
- 1:57battle, Deborah encouraged Barak. She told him
- 2:02that this was the day the Lord had promised to
- 2:05give him victory. With courage, Barak and his
- 2:09soldiers rushed down the mountain. As they fought,
- 2:13God caused confusion in Sazerah's army, and the
- 2:17enemy soldiers panicked and fled. Cesara, the
- 2:21commander of the enemy army, escaped on foot.
- 2:25He ran until he found a quiet tent and hid there.
- 2:30Inside was a woman named Jael. She recognized
- 2:34Cesara and knew he was dangerous. When he fell
- 2:38asleep, she took the opportunity to stop him,
- 2:42ensuring he could never hurt anyone again. Just
- 2:47as Deborah had said. the Lord gave the victory
- 2:50into the hands of a woman. Deborah was brave
- 2:59because she trusted God. Even when others were
- 3:03afraid, she listened to his voice and followed
- 3:07his plan. Did you know that God can use anyone,
- 3:12boys, girls, young or old? when they trust him
- 3:17and do what's right. You don't have to be the
- 3:22strongest to make a big difference. You just
- 3:25have to listen to God and be willing to obey
- 3:28him. Let's think through a few things together.
- 3:34Have you ever had to be brave and do what's right,
- 3:38even when others were scared? Who can you encourage
- 3:44today? just like Deborah encouraged Barak. God
- 3:51made you wonderfully, and he can use you to help
- 3:55others. Thank you for joining me today. Next
- 4:00time, we'll meet another judge, Gideon, who thought
- 4:05he was too small to do anything important. But
- 4:09God had big plans for him. Don't miss how God
- 4:13showed Gideon that with his help, even the smallest
- 4:17person can be a mighty warrior. Until then, remember,
- 4:22you are wonderfully made, and God is with you
- 4:26every step of the way. Bye for now.
