- 0:01Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Jasonnewland dot com. My name's Jason Newland.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Please only listen when you can faithfully close your eyes.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This is whisper Tuesday. Let me boy to sleep. Hello, Hello,
- 0:35Speaker 1: how you doing? Why so itchy back? Still getting feedback
- 0:51Speaker 1: from the whisper sound quality I've tried to improve. The
- 1:02Speaker 1: problem is with the whisper.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It's.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's weird. The better the microphone is, the harder it
- 1:16Speaker 1: is to pick up the whispers for some reason. And
- 1:28Speaker 1: then once the whisper is done, I have to increase
- 1:34Speaker 1: the volume otherwise you won't be able to hear it,
- 1:45Speaker 1: which kind of I don't know. We'll see. So last
- 1:53Speaker 1: night I sorted through my book because I had or
- 2:06Speaker 1: my books stacked. I did I say, I only listen
- 2:09Speaker 1: when you can safety close your eyes. Of course, this
- 2:13Speaker 1: being a whisper recorded by the way, if you don't no, okay, yes,
- 2:20Speaker 1: So I had all my books stacked on the windowsill.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It was just a temporary thing, partly because I'm tidying up,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and also I've hear my help block out some of
- 2:44Speaker 1: that noise from over the fence. But what it did
- 2:51Speaker 1: is it seemed it did block out some noise, but
- 2:56Speaker 1: the air seemed very that the stifling in air, there
- 3:05Speaker 1: was no air flow. It might also be because I've
- 3:10Speaker 1: been moving books arounds and they were dusty. So what
- 3:15Speaker 1: I've done is I have separated all the books and
- 3:23Speaker 1: on my bookcase is the only books I have are
- 3:27Speaker 1: hypnosis books. How many hypnosis books do I have? One, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighty, nineteen, twenty,
- 3:55Speaker 1: twenty one, two, twenty three, twenty four, twenty five, twenty six,

- 4:07Speaker 1: thirty eight, thirty nine, forty, forty one, forty two, forty three,
- 4:12Speaker 1: forty four, forty five, forty six, forty seven, forty eight,
- 4:17Speaker 1: forty nine, fifty fifty one, fifty two, fifty three, fifty four,
- 4:22Speaker 1: fifty five, fifty six, fifty seven, fifty eight, fifty nine, sixty,
- 4:30Speaker 1: sixty one, sixty two, sixty three, sixty four, sixty five.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Sixty six, six seven, and sixty eight, sixty.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Nine, seventy seventy one, seventy two, seventy three, seventy four,
- 4:41Speaker 1: seventy five, seventy six, seventy seven, seventy eight, seventy nine, eighty,
- 4:47Speaker 1: eighty one, eighty two, eighty three, eighty four, eighty five,
- 4:51Speaker 1: eighty six, eighty seven, eighty eight, eighty nine, ninety, ninety one,
- 4:57Speaker 1: ninety two, ninety three, ninety four, ninety five, ninety six,
- 5:00Speaker 1: ninety seven, ninety eight, ninety nine. Let's Turn My Head
- 5:06Speaker 1: Round one hundred one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Fifteen, sixteen, seventeen.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, twenty four,
- 5:28Speaker 1: twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight, twenty nine, thirty,
- 5:33Speaker 1: thirty one, thirty two, thirty three, thirty four, thirty five,
- 5:36Speaker 1: thirty six, thirty seven, thirty eight, thirty nine, forty, forty one,
- 5:41Speaker 1: forty two, forty three, forty four, forty five, forty six,
- 5:44Speaker 1: forty seven, forty eight, forty nine, fifty two, one hundredty two,
- 5:53Speaker 1: fifty three, fifty four, five, fifty six, forty seven, fifty eight,
- 5:58Speaker 1: fifty nine, sixty six one, sixty three, sixty three, sixty four,
- 6:02Speaker 1: sixty five, seven sixty eight, six nine, seventy seventy one.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I might have miscounted, but roughly. Oh no, there's another. Okay,
- 6:15Speaker 1: there's more than that on the other bookcase. There's three bookcases.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I can't see that one because my head doesn't see
- 6:25Speaker 1: round corners one two. It's just under two hundred books.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I've gone hypnosis and now my neck is all stiff.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's sad and forty thirty years ago, I would never
- 6:53Speaker 1: mentioned that when I woke up, I'd have a stiff
- 6:54Speaker 1: neck every morning. It's almost like parts of my body
- 6:58Speaker 1: of just transfer third. Should I relax it? Benny's internally
- 7:16Speaker 1: shaken a little bit? Are you cold? Vinny? Are you're cold?
- 7:24Speaker 2: He woke me up.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I don't know if he woke me up, but he
- 7:27Speaker 1: kind of woke up at the same time as me.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I was having some very strange dreams, very strange, well,
- 7:45Speaker 1: a very strange dream. There was this one I was
- 7:49Speaker 1: in this I don't know what it was. I really
- 7:58Speaker 1: don't know what it was, but I was. I had
- 8:12Speaker 1: Vinny with me, Yeah I did. I had Vinny. And
- 8:17Speaker 1: as he does, he's contents of running off and in
- 8:25Speaker 1: dreams he just does the same thing. And he was
- 8:32Speaker 1: getting excited. I was in the street and he was
- 8:36Speaker 1: getting excited to see a lady complete stranger, and exactly
- 8:46Speaker 1: that's what he does. He gets excited over people, and
- 8:53Speaker 1: then we go around. She walks off and goes around
- 8:57Speaker 1: the corner. He's all excited and he wraps right away
- 9:01Speaker 1: around the van that she said. I don't know how
- 9:04Speaker 1: long the lead must have been, but it was super
- 9:07Speaker 1: long for some reason, and she starts the van, which
- 9:14Speaker 1: was weird. There was another scene in this dream where
- 9:25Speaker 1: I'm in the pub and it's the old pub where
- 9:30Speaker 1: my landlady in the landlord used to drink. I've had
- 9:36Speaker 1: that dream a few times when I'm kind of was
- 9:40Speaker 1: trying to avoid them just from awkwardness, and there was
- 9:56Speaker 1: someone there that it was weird, okay, something. I am
- 10:08Speaker 1: in this conversation with somebody and they're laughing and then
- 10:22Speaker 1: I say something that they don't like, and I'm completely
- 10:29Speaker 1: kind of blocked out of the friendship group. And it
- 10:36Speaker 1: turned out that there was one particular person who I
- 10:41Speaker 1: thought I was friends with who's telling everyone, you know,
- 10:47Speaker 1: basically controlling the environment. Very strange. I mean, that's not
- 10:58Speaker 1: that's not real life for me. I suppose it has
- 11:04Speaker 1: been in certain situations, not for quite a while, and
- 11:14Speaker 1: usually it would not be something that i'd brow up with. Yeah,
- 11:26Speaker 1: it was weird, like clearing up food from the floor.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I don't know why, very strange the whole thing. I
- 11:46Speaker 1: was very tired when I went to bed last night,
- 11:51Speaker 1: really tired. It was, I don't know really, I think
- 12:12Speaker 1: it was sort of moving about and doing the sorting
- 12:18Speaker 1: out the books. I got a little bit of a
- 12:21Speaker 1: sweat on or create a little bit of a puddle.
- 12:27Speaker 1: And yeah, I was physically tired when I went to bed,
- 12:37Speaker 1: which doesn't happen too often. Right now, I'm feeling physically hungry.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Oh yes, a little bit hungry, my dear.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Mhm h.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah, A bit about about.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So today I'm gonna probably continue with my little tidy
- 13:22Speaker 1: up and just a little bit each day. I need
- 13:40Speaker 1: to figure a way to soundproof that window, though, but
- 13:45Speaker 1: not permanently, just when I need it to be soundproofed.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So I'm thinking of doing is getting some curtains and
- 14:06Speaker 1: putting them on those It's just basically putting them like
- 14:11Speaker 1: layer after layer after layer. The thickness of the window
- 14:18Speaker 1: sill inside the window sill of the window, and because
- 14:27Speaker 1: you know, the windows not just flat, it's but it's flat,
- 14:31Speaker 1: but the window goes out a little bit. I suppose,
- 14:38Speaker 1: like a little bit of a bay window kind of
- 14:42Speaker 1: but maybe not. No, it's not no, it's not a
- 14:49Speaker 1: bay window. But there's room. There's a window sill on
- 14:53Speaker 1: the inside. So I can maybe get one, two, three,
- 15:01Speaker 1: four or five thick curns and just lay them, and
- 15:10Speaker 1: I might do the job. I look into it. I mean,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I could just try and get some really thick curtains
- 15:25Speaker 1: for the outside, but I'm thinking I might need a
- 15:35Speaker 1: bit more than that, because I don't need not after
- 15:47Speaker 1: kind of soundproofing the whole time, just when I'm making recordings,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and occasionally if it gets a little bit too squeaky
- 15:59Speaker 1: out there but too screaming. So much of this massive
- 16:13Speaker 1: storm that we're supposed to have in didn't get it
- 16:17Speaker 1: in this area. Had a bit of wind, not me,
- 16:22Speaker 1: but the weather. It was a bit windy. It'll be windy, now,
- 16:27Speaker 1: was it? Of course the weather. The newspeople were giving
- 16:36Speaker 1: it a name, Tiffany or Barbara or whatever. I don't
- 16:44Speaker 1: know why why we need to have names for the weather. Yeah,
- 16:54Speaker 1: it's very un British to be doing stuff like that.
- 17:00Speaker 2: MH. Given a name to weather.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Oh it's storm Daniel. It's what's the name Daniels, Dusty Daniels.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I don't know. I just don't really understand why way way, way,
- 17:32Speaker 1: way a way, what might do? Because I might just
- 17:44Speaker 1: do this recording and uploaded just one version the volume
- 17:53Speaker 1: is without increasing the volume in editing HM, which means
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'll only be one version of the recording, or maybe
- 18:16Speaker 1: due to two versions, one with music one without. I
- 18:20Speaker 1: don't know. So I woke up a bit late to
- 18:38Speaker 1: than normal, and it's about six o'clock, I think on
- 18:46Speaker 1: the dot one minute past six in the morning, and
- 19:04Speaker 1: I'm thinking about getting my table out of the storage
- 19:07Speaker 1: room and put it over where the No. That wouldn't
- 19:18Speaker 1: work finished as head dance. No, I'm just thinking I
- 19:26Speaker 1: could put it over there where the no. I don't
- 19:31Speaker 1: mean that work. I don't know, So be on the
- 19:38Speaker 1: left hand side of the room where the bookcases are.
- 19:44Speaker 1: The problem with that is I would struggle to get
- 19:53Speaker 1: my chair behind it. Mind you, I'm kind of a
- 20:06Speaker 1: getting to the point where I don't want to sit
- 20:09Speaker 1: at those tables anymore near the near the TV. So
- 20:14Speaker 1: perhaps I could just add that chair permanently behind the
- 20:19Speaker 1: table by two years now, Yeah, I do not do
- 20:32Speaker 1: sit at that table when I do editing. So maybe
- 20:39Speaker 1: because I got two desks with the TV on, I'm
- 20:43Speaker 1: starting to think that maybe I should move that TV
- 20:45Speaker 1: up onto the wall, get a bracket and move onto
- 20:48Speaker 1: the wall, which would free some space, and maybe I
- 20:56Speaker 1: could get rid of the desks, but probably not. I
- 21:09Speaker 1: think it's an okay set up as it is. I
- 21:11Speaker 1: think it's all right. Actually, yeah, it's okay. I'm feeling
- 21:38Speaker 1: quite relaxed. I'm just glad it's still light at six
- 21:49Speaker 1: in the morning. I feel like the summer is just,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I don't know, gone, because now we're in August. We
- 22:11Speaker 1: have nice days in augusta never I do wonder why
- 22:17Speaker 1: the school holidays don't start till the end of July
- 22:21Speaker 1: and go through to August, because really, June and July
- 22:27Speaker 1: are the best months of summer. If we have a
- 22:30Speaker 1: good summer, June and July usually the months where the
- 22:35Speaker 1: summer is most summery like a lot if people like August,
- 22:48Speaker 1: things start to cool down. It's cooler in the morning,
- 22:54Speaker 1: cooler in the evening, starting to get darker in the evening,
- 22:59Speaker 1: it's getting lighter later in the morning. You know, things
- 23:03Speaker 1: are starting to kind of bitter better. Moving towards autumn slowly,
- 23:16Speaker 1: but and it will be Christmas. I mean this time
- 23:31Speaker 1: of year, what is it sat the kids go back
- 23:40Speaker 1: to school in September.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Then there's.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Halloween end of October, Bonfire Night beginning of November, in
- 24:01Speaker 1: Christmas in December, and then it's January again, another new year,
- 24:13Speaker 1: two thousand and twenty six, I do believe. And of
- 24:23Speaker 1: course there's this month when I turned fifty five, I
- 24:30Speaker 1: was twenty year older at the end of the month.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Didn't bother me when I was in my twenties above,
- 24:44Speaker 1: when I was in my late twenties, going from twenty
- 24:49Speaker 1: nine to thirty, Yeah, that wasn't I wasn't doing cartwheels,
- 24:59Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Yeah, I don't think I am. Yeah,
- 25:17Speaker 1: is this something about which is weird now to say
- 25:25Speaker 1: it out loud, But turning thirty it seemed.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Old back then.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Now I realize nearly twenty five years.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Later, twenty five years yours, nearly half my life later.
- 25:57Speaker 1: In fact, Yeah, I realized thirty was incredibly young. Really,
- 26:11Speaker 1: I wasn't old. I was never old at thirty. I
- 26:15Speaker 1: just felt it. There is a degree of being treated
- 26:25Speaker 1: differently that might just been in my mind. But I
- 26:36Speaker 1: didn't feel the same as I did in my twenties.
- 26:46Speaker 1: But I know one thing, I definitely did not feel
- 26:49Speaker 1: like I'm in my fifties kind of. Even sometimes I
- 27:04Speaker 1: say my age, and I might ask myself my age,
- 27:08Speaker 1: and I say to myself, oh, I'm forty five, forty four,
- 27:18Speaker 1: and then I remember and I say, wait a minute, No,
- 27:20Speaker 1: you're not. I said, yes, I am. No I'm not.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Yes you are. I wait a minute, I'm fifty four.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Wow.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Just doesn't necessarily sound correct, even though it is correct precise.
- 28:03Speaker 1: So I'm kind of thinking planning five years ahead. What
- 28:10Speaker 1: do I want to do with the next five.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Years of my life?
- 28:19Speaker 1: How do I want to spend that time? How can
- 28:29Speaker 1: I help the most amount of people. There's gotta be
- 28:41Speaker 1: a way. They just must, they must, they must, they
- 28:46Speaker 1: must be away to I mean, technically, they just carry
- 29:01Speaker 1: on as I am. But I'm not satisfied at what
- 29:07Speaker 1: I've done or what I'm doing. I want to do more.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I want to reach more people and hopefully help more people.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I'm just not sure how so there, m I haven't
- 30:03Speaker 1: really said much, have I? Thirty minutes of me talking
- 30:08Speaker 1: and I've not really said anything. It's a skill and
- 30:17Speaker 1: yess skilly, skilly skilled skill, my tim, He's gurgling.
- 30:30Speaker 2: For thirty fairly worthy.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Finny seems fairly happy where he's never satisfied. He always
- 31:08Speaker 1: wants more, always wants something.
- 31:19Speaker 2: But that's okay. I don't need him to send me.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Thank you cards, you know, dear daddy, Thank you for
- 31:46Speaker 1: letting me eat and sleep on your bed. No, I
- 31:52Speaker 1: don't think that go down very well. Thank you for
- 31:58Speaker 1: taking me into the sad In park every day, walking
- 32:04Speaker 1: in the same place every day. It's so boring, but
- 32:09Speaker 1: thank you. Maybe thank you for all those facts. It's
- 32:20Speaker 1: been a pleasure. Maybe not
