- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sorority life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Welcome back to Dirty Rush.
- 0:13Speaker 4: I'm Daisy Kent, and I'm here today with my co
- 0:15Speaker 4: hosts Jennifer Wessler and Gia Judice. We are continuing to
- 0:19Speaker 4: discuss the unbelievable crimes and darkest moments from inside sorority
- 0:23Speaker 4: houses and fraternity walls. Okay, I actually remember this happening
- 0:27Speaker 4: because all my friends were like sending it in our
- 0:29Speaker 4: group chats.
- 0:31Speaker 3: But basically it's like out of frat party.
- 0:33Speaker 4: I don't know if you can still like see the
- 0:35Speaker 4: video online, but I remember when it happened. But it
- 0:38Speaker 4: was Phi Kapasi and they were literally at like a
- 0:42Speaker 4: party like imagine like Gia, You're at like a party
- 0:47Speaker 4: in college, like a themed party or something like that,
- 0:50Speaker 4: and they like had like the DJ sands like set up,
- 0:52Speaker 4: and all of a sudden, this kid just like starts
- 0:55Speaker 4: on fire. It was like crazy, he got set on fire. Yeah,
- 1:00Speaker 4: like literally his whole body goes up in flames. It
- 1:03Speaker 4: was like insane. But it says I never really heard
- 1:06Speaker 4: about what happened from it, but prosecutors charged to the
- 1:10Speaker 4: four members of the Phi Kapaside fraternity in connection with
- 1:13Speaker 4: a frat party skit conducted last year that involved lighting
- 1:16Speaker 4: a fraternity pledges close on fire, which left him with
- 1:19Speaker 4: third degree burns. Lars Larsen, the student that was sat
- 1:23Speaker 4: on fire, filed lawsuit against the Phi Kappaside fraternity, the
- 1:26Speaker 4: California State University System, and two of his co defendants
- 1:31Speaker 4: in the criminal case, among others.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Saint alleges in.
- 1:34Speaker 4: His complaint that after the skit, the fell of fraternity
- 1:36Speaker 4: members provided inadequate first day by putting him in the shower,
- 1:40Speaker 4: wrapping him in an aluminum lanket, and waiting three hours
- 1:44Speaker 4: before contacting emergency personnel. After the fraternity members allegedly instructed
- 1:48Speaker 4: others to delete the video or group chats regarding the
- 1:52Speaker 4: incident in order to conceal what happened. The complaint states,
- 1:55Speaker 4: ares And suffered burns his legs back that required skin
- 1:58Speaker 4: grass and long term treatment for scarring and neuropathy. Neuropathy
- 2:03Speaker 4: is where you can't feel. So if you have neopathy
- 2:06Speaker 4: in your fingers, you can't you have lost feeling.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yeah, Like the.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Burns are so deep, probably right, like no sensational touch,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but he.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Also alleges that one day before the skit, he took
- 2:18Speaker 4: part in another skit that involved breaking a guitar over
- 2:20Speaker 4: his head. At the time of the burning incident, the
- 2:23Speaker 4: fraternity was on probation and connection to other a hazing
- 2:26Speaker 4: related incidents, and Larsen claimed San Diego State failed to
- 2:29Speaker 4: monitor the frat's activities and enforce sanctions against it. The
- 2:34Speaker 4: laws who also alleges STSU has a long standing and
- 2:37Speaker 4: well document sid history of dangerous fraternity related conduct, as
- 2:42Speaker 4: cited in the twenty nineteen death of Dylan Hernandez, who
- 2:46Speaker 4: was oh, okay, I do remember this, okay, who was
- 2:50Speaker 4: consumed alcohol at a pledge party and then later fell
- 2:53Speaker 4: from the top bunk of his dorm bed and struck
- 2:55Speaker 4: his head. Okay, yeah, I remember this.
- 2:57Speaker 2: There was.
- 2:59Speaker 3: The guy was like at a frat party.
- 3:01Speaker 4: And then he went home and like fell off of
- 3:04Speaker 4: his bed because he was so drunk, and then someone
- 3:06Speaker 4: went in to like wake him up, and he was
- 3:08Speaker 4: just like blue.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Oh god, I know, I remember well this one. They didn't.
- 3:14Speaker 5: They were told to delete their messages. And I remember
- 3:17Speaker 5: also with the Penn State that poor kid Piazza what's
- 3:20Speaker 5: his first name, Timothy, that they didn't they he had
- 3:23Speaker 5: fallen and like nobody wanted to call the cops. Yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 5: and then I don't know, I feel like I remember
- 3:29Speaker 5: them saying delete everything or you know.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so crazy.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I remember even in like group chats though, like some people,
- 3:39Speaker 4: like some fraternities had like different words they would use
- 3:42Speaker 4: for things to like code like name things.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I remember at UT when I was there, so the
- 3:49Speaker 5: two frats that we were off in match with ZBT
- 3:54Speaker 5: and Sammy. But ZBT was well known to be the
- 3:59Speaker 5: one that like if you wanted to pledge, like you
- 4:02Speaker 5: were going to go through it, like there were paddles,
- 4:05Speaker 5: like you were gonna get your ass kicked, and it
- 4:07Speaker 5: was like the fooler boy fraternity, right mm hmm. And
- 4:12Speaker 5: I'm just thinking, like, you know, in these these my friends,
- 4:16Speaker 5: you know they play they wanted to be in the
- 4:17Speaker 5: cool boy frat, yeah, knowing that they were about to
- 4:20Speaker 5: go through absolute hell, and then like the nice boyfrat.
- 4:24Speaker 5: I mean this so I sound so ridiculous, but they
- 4:26Speaker 5: just warn't his heart on the on the guys.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely is really hard and I was just so sad.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I mean, even that kid having those like like those burns,
- 4:36Speaker 4: like he has that forever.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So he he went along with these skits like he
- 4:41Speaker 1: knew they were happening, Like was he kind of like
- 4:43Speaker 1: you know, I mean maybe he was rebellious in that
- 4:46Speaker 1: way where he thought this was entertainment.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Did he know he was getting set on fire?
- 4:53Speaker 4: I honestly, I don't remember completely how it happened.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I can probably find a video like somewhere in my group.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Chats, because whenever anything happens at like San Diego State,
- 5:01Speaker 4: like I have like a group chat with like all
- 5:04Speaker 4: my guy friends and girlfriends from college, and in.
- 5:08Speaker 3: A frat party fire skit.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Those are words that you'd never want to hear a
- 5:13Speaker 5: frat party fire skit.
- 5:15Speaker 3: That's very weird.
- 5:16Speaker 1: The criminal cases have been dismissed against the four San
- 5:19Speaker 1: Diego State fraternity members who were charged with intentionally setting
- 5:23Speaker 1: one of their defendants on fire during a skit performed
- 5:27Speaker 1: at the fraternity house.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Prosecutors charged the.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Four members of Pie Cap of PSI fraternity and connection
- 5:34Speaker 1: with a frat party skit conducted last year that involved
- 5:37Speaker 1: lighting a fraternity pledges clothes on fire, which.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Left him with third degree burns.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So I think in a weird, twisted way, he knew
- 5:46Speaker 1: this was happening.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Yeah, like that he knew he was going to be
- 5:49Speaker 3: set on fire.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But he probably figured, okay, my clothes like stop, drop
- 5:56Speaker 1: and roll.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah awful.
- 5:58Speaker 4: If I remember the video, there's like a bunch of
- 6:01Speaker 4: people around him too.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So you know, okay, I'm gonna you know, if this
- 6:06Speaker 1: goes If this goes right, everyone's gonna probably think I'm
- 6:09Speaker 1: so cool. Da da da da, you know, like it's
- 6:12Speaker 1: it's who knows what was going through his brain at
- 6:14Speaker 1: that time.
- 6:14Speaker 5: The boy's brain doesn't develop fully the frontal lobe until
- 6:17Speaker 5: they're twenty six, so I mean, which I think a
- 6:22Speaker 5: women's brain develops going way before that.
- 6:24Speaker 3: But you think about.
- 6:25Speaker 5: That, like not even you know, until you're until a
- 6:29Speaker 5: guy is twenty six, his brain is not done developing
- 6:33Speaker 5: bad decisions.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Now he filed a lawsuit against the fraternity.
- 6:38Speaker 5: So many of these are so recent, you guys, I
- 6:41Speaker 5: don't remember hearing about all of these me.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And you don't. That's the scary part, you know. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: think a lot of it is protected to some degree.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yeah, and like I'm sure like the schools too, like
- 6:54Speaker 4: as much as like the news and stuff that covers it.
- 6:56Speaker 4: I'm sure because like the schools don't want like eating
- 7:00Speaker 4: bad like this happening, and like want anything out in
- 7:03Speaker 4: the media about the school too, So I'm sure like everyone.
- 7:07Speaker 3: It's just sad though.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But now moving on to something that's not as not
- 7:10Speaker 1: as intense.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah, there was a Georgia sorority.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Girl seen smiling and mugshot arrested again weeks after her
- 7:21Speaker 1: first run in with the police. Fox News reported this
- 7:24Speaker 1: on March twenty third, twenty twenty five. The University of
- 7:27Speaker 1: Georgia sorority girl, who was nicknamed Miss America after her
- 7:31Speaker 1: smiling mugshot went viral, she was arrested again for the
- 7:35Speaker 1: second time in weeks. Lily Stewart, a sophomore at Alpha
- 7:39Speaker 1: Qui Omega at the University of Georgia, was arrested for
- 7:42Speaker 1: the second time in a month after her first arrest
- 7:45Speaker 1: at the beginning of March for excessive speeding. An officer
- 7:49Speaker 1: pulled Stuart over for going seventy nine miles per hour
- 7:52Speaker 1: in a fifty five mile per hour zone, and then
- 7:56Speaker 1: she was pulled over again for going eighty four miles
- 7:59Speaker 1: per hour in a fifty five mile per hour zone.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Stuart was found speeding in her twenty twenty one Volvo,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and when she was speeding both of these times, she
- 8:13Speaker 1: was allegedly going allegedly going to a fraternity party that
- 8:21Speaker 1: was being thrown at Georgia College in State University. She
- 8:26Speaker 1: even then took her speeding cases to TikTok to address
- 8:32Speaker 1: her arrest and shared some of the most unhinged comments
- 8:35Speaker 1: in her video. Yeah, I do have to say I
- 8:38Speaker 1: looked at the if you click the link and look
- 8:40Speaker 1: at this article, she's a beautiful girl. Like she really
- 8:43Speaker 1: did look like Miss America in her mugshot. I don't
- 8:45Speaker 1: think I've everristen a book shot like that before.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I'm going to look right now.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I mean, it kind of sounds like she's just like
- 8:52Speaker 4: doing it for attention.
- 8:53Speaker 1: AI. Yeah, And I mean there's nothing bad happening.
- 8:57Speaker 2: There's no party, guys, as you know that important.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Yes, it's like there's nothing waiting for you at the
- 9:04Speaker 5: other end of this, but like bad news.
- 9:07Speaker 2: And I'm surprised she wasn't drinking.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Yeah, No, she wasn't drinking. She was literally just speeding
- 9:14Speaker 1: to get to this party. And I think we could
- 9:16Speaker 1: all understand that.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I mean, even being in the back of an uber
- 9:21Speaker 1: when you're really trying to get to a party or
- 9:25Speaker 1: a bar and you're like, oh my gosh, this uber
- 9:27Speaker 1: is driving so slow, like imagine being being in control
- 9:31Speaker 1: of the wheel. And she probably just wanted to get
- 9:33Speaker 1: to this party. But like you said, Jen, no party
- 9:36Speaker 1: is that important.
- 9:37Speaker 5: You're pulled over once and you think, all right, well
- 9:39Speaker 5: for get now that I've been pulled over, Now I
- 9:42Speaker 5: can really go fast.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I mean, yeahmy.
- 9:46Speaker 1: No, this was just stupid.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Be better. Honestly, I don't even feel bad for her.
- 9:54Speaker 6: This is was stupid, just dumb, dumb, dummy.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Now. People reports on March eighth reported on March eighth,
- 10:18Speaker 5: twenty twenty five, a man was charged with manslaughter after
- 10:21Speaker 5: a student twenty died in an alleged off campus fraternity hazing.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Caleb Wilson, twenty, was a student at Southern University and
- 10:31Speaker 5: A and M College in Baton, Rouge. He attended an
- 10:35Speaker 5: off campus frat hazing ritual connected to the Omega Sci
- 10:39Speaker 5: Fi fraternity. During the ritual, he was allegedly punched multiple
- 10:42Speaker 5: times in the chest while wearing boxing gloves as part
- 10:45Speaker 5: of the hazing.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Process.
- 10:46Speaker 5: He collapsed after the assault and later died as a
- 10:49Speaker 5: result of the injuries.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I could cry.
- 10:52Speaker 5: This is just so yeah, said people involved initially lied
- 10:58Speaker 5: and claimed Wilson lapsed while playing basketball, which investigators later
- 11:03Speaker 5: determined was false.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Authorities discovered the.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Incident actually happened at a warehouse used for the fraternity
- 11:10Speaker 5: hazing event. I cannot believe this happened in twenty twenty five.
- 11:15Speaker 2: What is going on? Like twenty twenty five?
- 11:19Speaker 5: People are these frats are taking people to warehouses and
- 11:22Speaker 5: punching them And.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, like come on, yeah, this is
- 11:27Speaker 1: again just so stupid. Yeah.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Caleb McCrae turned himself in. He was a Southern University
- 11:33Speaker 5: graduate an Omega Sci Fi member, and was charged with
- 11:36Speaker 5: manslaughter and criminal hazing. Police said additional arrests were expected
- 11:41Speaker 5: and more than a dozen people were interviewed. Southern University
- 11:44Speaker 5: suspended all fraternity intake and activities after Wilson's death.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Didn't that happen?
- 11:51Speaker 5: That happened just recently in another school, maybe Maryland, where
- 11:54Speaker 5: all Greek life was suspended. I could be making that up.
- 11:57Speaker 4: I feel like that's kind of like common for like
- 12:00Speaker 4: Greek life to be suspended as sad as that it is,
- 12:03Speaker 4: but because I remember we went on like multiple suspensions
- 12:06Speaker 4: when I was not like our sorority, but like the
- 12:10Speaker 4: whole Greek life had to go on like a two
- 12:13Speaker 4: month suspension.
- 12:13Speaker 3: I don't remember why, but.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I mean, punch multiple times in the chest. You have
- 12:19Speaker 5: got to be kidding me.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It's also like after some time, you don't realize that
- 12:26Speaker 1: enough is enough. Yeah. Yeah, and me to have been
- 12:29Speaker 1: like punched multiple like they probably heard like crazy things
- 12:35Speaker 1: happening to his chest like how like for him to
- 12:39Speaker 1: have died like they probably cracked, that's so bad.
- 12:44Speaker 2: It's sick. I don't know.
- 12:45Speaker 5: I I hope you guys did. And I never knew
- 12:47Speaker 5: frat boys like this. No, I mean this is another level.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Okay, if I like, it's just just me like thinking.
- 12:54Speaker 4: But for me, I thought, like if somebody kills somebody
- 12:58Speaker 4: like that, like, shouldn't they be like prison for Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 5: I guess it's I don't know, I'm just making this up,
- 13:04Speaker 5: but I think it's probably what kind of murder were
- 13:06Speaker 5: you charged with? Right, like first degree? Second degree? Did
- 13:09Speaker 5: you mean for him to die? You know, did you
- 13:11Speaker 5: go in there with the intent to kill?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Ways in it on it all.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah crazy, but also like the fact that he would
- 13:21Speaker 1: come back after being an alumni and right, this is
- 13:25Speaker 1: what he does on his free time.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Yeah, so apparently it's all been alleged. They're still trying
- 13:31Speaker 4: to figure out everything out, which is sad too, and
- 13:35Speaker 4: that the family can't have any type of closure.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Also yeah, yeah it said. The death of Caleb Olson
- 13:43Speaker 1: has been ruled a homicide by the Corner with the
- 13:47Speaker 1: cause listed as commoshio corbis blunt chest trauma from punches
- 13:55Speaker 1: during the alleged hazing. Five individuals have been in in
- 14:00Speaker 1: connection with his death, including charges of manslaughter, criminal hazing,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and obstruction of justice for some of the suspects. As
- 14:09Speaker 1: of the most recent reports, there has not been a
- 14:13Speaker 1: public criminal conviction or sentencing announced yet. The criminal cases
- 14:17Speaker 1: are still moving through the legal system. No final trial
- 14:21Speaker 1: results have been reported in the news.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Wow awful.
- 14:25Speaker 5: You guys are gonna end up not sending your kids
- 14:26Speaker 5: to college. Mind, I know, I'm like homeschool for their right.
- 14:34Speaker 4: So two Dartmouth fraternity members and a sorority have been
- 14:37Speaker 4: charged in the death of a student. This is from
- 14:40Speaker 4: NPR on a November twenty fourth twenty twenty four, so
- 14:44Speaker 4: two years ago, but two members of Dartmouth College fraternity
- 14:48Speaker 4: and sorority have been charged in the death of a student.
- 14:50Speaker 4: It was found dead in a river over the summer
- 14:53Speaker 4: after attending an off campus party where alcohol was allegedly
- 14:56Speaker 4: served to people who are under twenty one. Juan Jang,
- 15:01Speaker 4: a twenty year old who was a student at the
- 15:04Speaker 4: college and a member of the Beta Alpha Omega fraternity,
- 15:07Speaker 4: tended a party off campus in July held by Alpha
- 15:11Speaker 4: Fi and the Hanover Police Department in New Hampshire said
- 15:15Speaker 4: in a statement. The department said Jang and most of
- 15:20Speaker 4: the other attendees were under twenty one drinking alcohol that
- 15:23Speaker 4: was brought by the Beta Alpha Omega members who were
- 15:25Speaker 4: over twenty one, which always happens at sororities these. I
- 15:30Speaker 4: feel like people bring alcohol because I mean, you go
- 15:32Speaker 4: into college and you're like, what like eighteen. But after
- 15:36Speaker 4: the party, several attendees decided to go for a swim
- 15:38Speaker 4: in the Connecticut River, but when a heavy range storm occurred,
- 15:42Speaker 4: many of them left in groups. Known in these groups
- 15:45Speaker 4: noticed that Jang was unaccounted for. It was confirmed to
- 15:48Speaker 4: be a multiple interviews to include Jang's family that he
- 15:52Speaker 4: could not swim in. An autopsy report later determined the
- 15:56Speaker 4: cause of death was drowning and his blood alcohol level
- 16:00Speaker 4: was zero point one sixty seven. Two members of the
- 16:03Speaker 4: Beta Alka Alpha Omega fraternity were charged with a misdemeanor
- 16:07Speaker 4: of providing alcohol to persons under twenty one.
- 16:10Speaker 3: The Alphae sorority was.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Also charged with a misdemeanor violation of facilitating facilitating underage alcohol.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I Startmouth College said both the Alphae chapter on campus
- 16:19Speaker 4: and Beta Alpha Mega were immediately spendered after Jang's death,
- 16:23Speaker 4: and an internal investigation was launched.
- 16:26Speaker 5: So it just it curs to me, like so interesting.
- 16:29Speaker 5: It doesn't matter. This is like an IVY Star Dartmouth
- 16:31Speaker 5: IVY League. I think Dartmouth is IVY League school. Yeah matter,
- 16:36Speaker 5: I think it's right, like stupidness does not like, like
- 16:40Speaker 5: doesn't matter how hard your school is to get into
- 16:44Speaker 5: drinking and pure pressure.
- 16:49Speaker 2: No one escapes.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah hard.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You know, when you're obviously all under the influence, you
- 16:55Speaker 1: are not as attentive as you would be if.
- 16:57Speaker 3: You were sober. So obviously all of these.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Students decided to go to this river, and they all
- 17:05Speaker 1: jumped in a rainstorm happened, Okay, it started raining. They
- 17:09Speaker 1: all rushed off and they left one behind, and like,
- 17:15Speaker 1: you know, it's terrible, but yeah, I think that I
- 17:21Speaker 1: truly believe that this again was a horrible accident. But
- 17:24Speaker 1: this is when you know, this is when you just
- 17:27Speaker 1: have to realize that, no matter what, when alcohol is involved,
- 17:31Speaker 1: the situations are always heightened and they're never as accurate
- 17:34Speaker 1: as they would be if you were sober. So oh
- 17:37Speaker 1: for sure, That's why it's hard. It's always always being
- 17:41Speaker 1: control of yourself. I think that's the biggest lesson from
- 17:45Speaker 1: all of these stories. No matter what, whether you're being
- 17:49Speaker 1: peer pressured, whether you think it's cool, any of that,
- 17:53Speaker 1: you can always fake drinking. And I think that's one
- 17:55Speaker 1: of the biggest things. Even if you're rushing for a
- 17:58Speaker 1: fraternity anything, you could always fake it. Yeah, like you
- 18:03Speaker 1: like you're never and you're also not like you do
- 18:08Speaker 1: not have to consume the alcohol if you do not want.
- 18:12Speaker 5: To, do you guys have like at your age, like
- 18:30Speaker 5: I do remember saying this to my kids, but like
- 18:33Speaker 5: being so scared that like especially Rachel was gonna get
- 18:36Speaker 5: like somebody's gonna slip something in her drink. You know,
- 18:39Speaker 5: cover your drink when you walk away or always I
- 18:42Speaker 5: mean and now too, I mean whatever is in the city.
- 18:45Speaker 5: But also like I would always just don't you can't
- 18:49Speaker 5: leave alone. No, I mean that's like the.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Buddy system that was always like freshman year, I feel
- 18:56Speaker 1: like that was so stilled. But even now, it doesn't
- 18:58Speaker 1: matter how old you are, Like walking home anywhere alone,
- 19:01Speaker 1: you should always go back with somebody and because you
- 19:05Speaker 1: never know what could happen.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I have all those They didn't have the stuff
- 19:09Speaker 5: back in my day. Like I don't remember every college
- 19:12Speaker 5: tour we went on with both my kids. I saw
- 19:15Speaker 5: the blue light right like exactly, like where to probably
- 19:18Speaker 5: were talking about that where to press the blue light,
- 19:21Speaker 5: And they talked about if you ever anywhere, you could
- 19:23Speaker 5: call campus security to pick you up. Yeah, right, like
- 19:27Speaker 5: that was like a huge thing at all. We visited
- 19:29Speaker 5: a lot of colleges. Yeah, I don't know if we
- 19:31Speaker 5: had that when I was in college. Which is great.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's good that they're like making these things to
- 19:38Speaker 4: like people safer, but also how much is still happening.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Yeah, it really is. I didn't know before this, I
- 19:45Speaker 5: didn't realize so much of this.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I didn't re say, I haven't heard of anything in
- 19:49Speaker 3: a while.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I know. I think that's very sad.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, all these stories are very sad. I think the
- 19:57Speaker 1: biggest takeaway is to always be in control. You don't
- 20:00Speaker 1: have to do anything you want to do. Yeah, and
- 20:04Speaker 1: just never feel pressured.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yeah, and definitely like don't peer pressure other peoples, especially
- 20:10Speaker 4: when it comes to drinking, Like that's not something anyone
- 20:13Speaker 4: should be doing.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you always have a choice. Of course, you know,
- 20:18Speaker 1: you can have fun with alcohol, but I also alcohol
- 20:21Speaker 1: is also the devil. Yeah, can nothing good to ever have?
- 20:25Speaker 1: This is like my mom always nothing good ever happens
- 20:28Speaker 1: after twelve.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Okay, wait, that's what my mom told me angering up
- 20:32Speaker 3: to listen.
- 20:34Speaker 5: This is a lot of this what we talked about,
- 20:38Speaker 5: it's just stupidity.
- 20:39Speaker 2: A lot of it is evil.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Punching someone in that chest like that feels it's all alleged, but.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You know, being in a violent relationship with somebody and
- 20:49Speaker 1: has alcohol problems, like you always you know, if you
- 20:53Speaker 1: have a bad feeling, if you have something deep down
- 20:57Speaker 1: telling you, like, always.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Believe your gut always.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah, like you're instinct, because nine times out of ten
- 21:03Speaker 1: it's correct. Just you know, if you ever need help,
- 21:07Speaker 1: just contact somebody, Contact somebody that you trust. But there's
- 21:12Speaker 1: there's always another way.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Just and it's not they guess what being in a
- 21:16Speaker 5: fraternity and sorty is not. And we're doing a we
- 21:21Speaker 5: have a podcast called Dirty Rush so because we loved
- 21:25Speaker 5: Greek life and story life. But it is not the
- 21:28Speaker 5: end all be all. There are more important things and
- 21:32Speaker 5: you know, no, I just think about again, like Sammy
- 21:35Speaker 5: and ZBT, like it was ZBT was known that if
- 21:37Speaker 5: you're gonna pledge, you can get the speed out of
- 21:40Speaker 5: you and like Sammy was like not as rough. Like
- 21:43Speaker 5: I don't know, I'd want my kid to pick the
- 21:47Speaker 5: one where it was not going to be as rough.
- 21:49Speaker 5: But yeah, scary stuff. You guys, well, happily you guys
- 21:55Speaker 5: are also both out of college, so don't have to worry.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean too.
