WELCOME BACK! You know how some guys are funny when they're mad?? Hugh Wilson must be one of those guys. CBS was all over him during the first season of WKRP to write more "visual gags." Over on ABC, "Laverne & Shirley" was a hit doing a lot of slapstick. Hugh resisted...he fought it...he thought it was lowbrow. He said WKRP is smarter than that!!
