  [SPEAKER_00]: If you will, of OTAs, that media will be allowed to attend.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then next week on Monday, June 1st, OTA number four, media will be able to attend that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then that's it for OTAs in terms of at the very beginning here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: mandatory veteran mini camp June 9th 10th and 11th media will be out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Those are going to be scheduled as morning practices.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the one today is a little bit later on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then you have OTA number seven, which is Monday, June 15th.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I should be attending all of these outside of June 15th.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think I'll be in Orlando for my sister and my son's little birthday celebration.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But other than that, should be out there, very excited to kind of get out on the grass

  [SPEAKER_00]: how things are going early on, there's honestly, usually not a whole lot to dive into from what you see on the field in OTAs and mini-camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You can talk about the coaching, the energy, the focus level, different things like that, but there's been teams that I thought were going to be not so talented, not so good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That looked, um,

  [SPEAKER_00]: great during OTAs and vice versa.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's been teams that I thought were extremely good during OTAs and then ended up not being a very good team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it's just too early to really tell the biggest thing I think you want to see is avoiding the eye word.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You want to see again the focus level, the attention to detail, this is voluntary.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So not required by any stretch of the imagination, but I do expect extremely high attendance and participation.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just, if there's notable names not there, which I don't really expect, obviously there will probably be days where like someone's not there, but it's an excused apps, and it doesn't even have to be excused at this point, but it's a communicated absence, like why they're not there, different things like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As far as what I'll be looking for today and moving forward throughout this offseason program, just some different things, BTJ, Brian Thomas Jr. and Trevor Lawrence, their connection, I think is critical because

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's some clear pathways for the Jaguar's taking steps forward in 2026, obviously being able to be more multiple with your personnel, packages on the offensive side of the ball, having Travis Hunter on both sides of the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: being more tough and physical downhill running team with Chris Rodriguez and company.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's different pathways, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think one of the most obvious pathways is if Brian Thomas Jr. in Trevor Lawrence, if that connection gets like amped up just a little bit, if that chemistry is just a little bit more on point down the field, and at all levels really, I think you saw a good amount of chemistry from them in the short to intermediate when that was kind of

  [SPEAKER_00]: Down the stretch I should say early on there was some bumps in the road there, but down the stretch after BTJ came back from his injury around week 13 I think that improved greatly, but if they can get the deep ball going that could really change a lot for the Jaguar's offense

  [SPEAKER_00]: Teams already respect that part of the Jaguar's offense because you have to respect that when you have Brian Thomas Jr. and his ability to get behind the defense and Trevor Lawrence obviously has the talent to get the ball down there, but it hasn't clicked yet.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so if you have defences respecting it and it's clicking, then you're talking about an entirely different ball game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like if you're able to pick up big chunks through the air to Brian Thomas Jr. down the field He could score for anywhere, so That'll be something I'm keeping on an eye on are you gonna be able to tell for sure how it's going at OTAs again?

  [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's too early, but you would like to see it Look good right now versus it looking clunky

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, rookies, 2026 rookies, I'll be looking at all of them certainly, but, you know, board-catcher, if you're the first player selected by a team in a draft, you at least won't have to earn the tie-to-end to job, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think he can, but Quentin Moore is no slouch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So can Borkichers stand out in the rest of the rookies now that the veterans are there, how do they look, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Was not there for that one, but I'll be able to see these guys these rookies, you know, how does Emmanuel Pragnon look next to the rest of these offensive linemen?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also excited, you know, beyond that Jalen Husky.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really I'm just excited to see his energy and enthusiasm out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He brings a lot of it and the rest of the class as well There's a lot of different interesting

  [SPEAKER_00]: prospects and different pathways to having an impact.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to see Parker Hughes out there running around flying around as a line-backer that can basically run a 434R dash but he's a little undersized but he's competing his butt off so that's that's type of thing I'm excited to see but

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously Albert Regis will probably slot in as your backup nose tackle early on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Wesley Williams will be competing, I think, for Edge 3 and speaking of Edge 3, I'm excited to keep an eye on that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There are Danny Strigo, BJ Green, as I mentioned, Wesley Williams, several other guys that can compete, including Derfey, who they went and got late in the draft this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But to me, I think Danny Strigo should probably be the

  [SPEAKER_00]: penciled in, edge three, I just think the versatility, the effort and consistency that he plays with, even if he's not like a prolific past-resurer, probably gives the jaguars a lot of what they want, but that's going to be a spot I'm keeping an eye on for sure, today and moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also, as I mentioned, 2026 rookies, the 25 rookies that we just didn't get to see a lot of during 2025 because of injury or whatever it may be, but like Caleb Branson, I thought he looked really good last year before he got injured.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously that was before the season started, really unfortunate, but I'm excited to see him out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to see Caleb McCloud.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His college tape is really funny, he played some golf ball lineback, he played some edge, played with his hair on fire, was a good athlete, I'm excited to see him out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: is why at Mylem ready to compete for a job, like how does Mylem and Emmanuel pregnant?

  [SPEAKER_00]: How does how does those two look in comparison to each other?

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, a day two guard in 2025 or is a day two guard in 2025?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Six, Mylem has a little bit more experience on his side, but didn't get that much experience actually on the field as a rookie.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's gonna be a really fun one to watch for me and just the offensive line as a whole.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One thing that was a big storyline last year

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was no continuity on the offensive line and there was constantly moving parts and I think there's going to be a lot of moving parts again this year because they want guys to be ready to play different spots.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be a theme I think throughout most off seasons for the Jacksonville Jaguars and their offensive lineman people made a big deal about it last year, as Liam Cohen likes to remind everybody, but

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's something to definitely watch and like how much cross-training is going on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There should be a lot, but like can pregnant on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the clearest pathway to someone getting into the starting lineup that is not already penciled into the starting lineup on the offensive line is at right guard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think currently you would look at Patrick McCarrion, say that's the weakest link.

  [SPEAKER_00]: at the guard spotter on the offensive line in general, you also have Colvann Lannin who is not going to be ready to go according to the Jaguars until training camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So somebody's going to be competing at left tackle as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: While Colvann Lannin is not practicing and obviously something to keep in mind is you shouldn't be expecting to see Colvann Lannin, Jordan Lewis, Travis Hunter, those types of guys until training camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of, like, actually with the team and team drills and things like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that is something we'll be watching as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to see Chris Rodriguez and Bacial Tutan on the field together, not to discount Lee Quint Allen, but I think you're talking about a one A and one B situation with Rodriguez and Tutan, and I'm not saying that Rodriguez is definitely one A or Tutan is definitely one A. I think it's going to be dependent on

  [SPEAKER_00]: what transpires throughout this offseason and into training camp, but also the situation in a given game, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I just think that these two guys can push each other.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that they have complimentary skill sets, whereas Tutton did a lot of similar things that E.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't the same.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he ran with a little bit more power behind his pads, a little bit lower to the ground.

  [SPEAKER_00]: right, but their skill sets and kind of how you would want to use them was pretty similar overall, but Rodriguez and Tutan have a little bit more of a dynamic skill set in my opinion as a group and then Lee Quint Allen obviously, good player, does it all dirty work, passcatching, pass pro, special teams, but I'm excited to see Rodriguez and Tutan on the field together for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's currently penciled in as the starting linebacker next to FOIA, Luke, and when you're in two or three linebacker sets and I do think there's going to be a lot of times where the jack wars like they did last year They get into three safeties instead of two linebackers and

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Ventral Miller, he's penciled in as a base starter for the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he showed the ability to do that at a high level last year when Devon Lloyd got injured.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to see his energy, but you know, Branson calms as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As they had undrafted free agent, I mentioned Hughes, I'm excited to see Jack Kaiser.

  [SPEAKER_00]: ventral miller in the rest of those back up off ball linebackers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One thing we're going to be watching, I think, is pre-snap execution on the offensive side of the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That is something that was a major weak point for the jag wars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At times throughout last off season in a training camp and then into the regular season for a good stretch of the regular season, it was pretty problematic.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they did a good job, but does that roll into year two?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington, Jacobi Myers, Britain, Strait like, does it feel right from the beginning, pre-snap and post-snap

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's an offense that's going to be expected to put up a ton of points this year and they're going to need to then want to compete at the highest level and win some games in January and February potentially.
