Transcript
- 0:10Speaker 1: First and foremost. I thought Jalen Phillips, I mean everything
- 0:14Speaker 1: and then some has advertised from what we've seen in
- 0:16Speaker 1: the you know, from the TV copy itself. I wanted
- 0:18Speaker 1: to get your thoughts on him, and you know, Jylex
- 0:20Speaker 1: Hunt as well, because I think like he's kind of
- 0:22Speaker 1: a guy that you know, was kind of getting brushed aside,
- 0:25Speaker 1: you know, Nolan Smith, everybody, and then like Jallex Hunt
- 0:27Speaker 1: would fall back. And I thought he played excellent last
- 0:29Speaker 1: night as well.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought a bunch of players played really well
- 0:32Speaker 2: last night as individuals, and of course the defense as
- 0:35Speaker 2: a whole played really well. I mean, obviously I talked
- 0:38Speaker 2: about Phillips last week. He checks every box as a
- 0:40Speaker 2: D as a four to three d n you saw
- 0:42Speaker 2: that in this game. I mean the first sack of
- 0:44Speaker 2: the game, which was which Hunt made the sack, but
- 0:47Speaker 2: that was that was on Phillips because Phillips had the
- 0:50Speaker 2: two hand speed to power rush versus the right tackle
- 0:52Speaker 2: Tom and he just you know, he pushed Tom right
- 0:55Speaker 2: into the pocket, forced Love to move. We're Hunt cleaned up.
- 0:59Speaker 2: So you know, Phillips, he was he was strong as
- 1:03Speaker 2: a pass rusher, he was dominant in the run game.
- 1:06Speaker 2: He ate up tight ends in the run game, including
- 1:09Speaker 2: on the last play where you know, not the last
- 1:11Speaker 2: play the fumble uh by Jacobs that that was a
- 1:15Speaker 2: function of of Phillips just eating up mus Grave physically.
- 1:19Speaker 2: So yeah, he played. I mean, you guys heard me
- 1:23Speaker 2: talk last week. I thought when he came out that
- 1:25Speaker 2: he he checked every single box as a four to
- 1:27Speaker 2: three d end.
- 1:28Speaker 3: All right, So I know, I know we were going
- 1:31Speaker 3: to try to stay away from the offense, But I
- 1:34Speaker 3: got a question about the line.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I'm talking about the offense.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I think I think from what I watched him trying
- 1:41Speaker 3: to watch it now back, but I think we took
- 1:45Speaker 3: a couple of steps back on the line. I've seen
- 1:48Speaker 3: a lot of miss blocks, uh slipping, all types of
- 1:54Speaker 3: things going on on on the thing. I'm I've never
- 1:57Speaker 3: seen who fell right in front of the sequin.
- 2:05Speaker 2: My life.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I've never seen that happen before. I mean, I see
- 2:10Speaker 3: a lot of almost if we would have got one
- 2:13Speaker 3: more block, it could have been a pop. And if
- 2:18Speaker 3: Parsons didn't didn't league with uh Barkley, that was a touchdown.
- 2:23Speaker 3: It was nobody there. But so what did what did
- 2:26Speaker 3: you see from the line?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Well, I I to be honest with you, I was
- 2:31Speaker 2: more interested in why, all of a sudden, this team
- 2:34Speaker 2: has decided to play so much with six to zero
- 2:37Speaker 2: line personnel with multiple tight ends. Uh. This is almost
- 2:42Speaker 2: as if they they are saying that we're not going
- 2:44Speaker 2: to pass the football, that this is we're going to
- 2:46Speaker 2: just run the ball, and this is the way we're
- 2:48Speaker 2: going to play. Because you know, for the last three
- 2:51Speaker 2: games Vikings, Giants, Packers out, they've played less than fifty
- 2:55Speaker 2: percent of their offensive snaps in eleven personnel. So they're
- 2:58Speaker 2: not playing to throw the football. They're playing to run
- 3:01Speaker 2: the football. And you know, I think they know that
- 3:05Speaker 2: that's the way they have to play to be good.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And I think they're going to just play this way
- 3:11Speaker 2: unless the game dictates otherwise, and they're just going to
- 3:14Speaker 2: live through it and try to get back to what
- 3:17Speaker 2: they ultimately do best. And if, you know, if the
- 3:21Speaker 2: defense continues to play at a high level, they'll stay
- 3:24Speaker 2: in games and they'll be in position to win games.
- 3:27Speaker 2: But if the defense, for whatever reason doesn't and they
- 3:30Speaker 2: have to throw it, I don't think they want to
- 3:32Speaker 2: play like that. You know, I thought that was pretty evident,
- 3:36Speaker 2: you know, watching the tape. I mean the play that
- 3:38Speaker 2: I mentioned to Jeff and Adam was it was late
- 3:43Speaker 2: third quarter, the game was scoreless. Okay, it was third
- 3:47Speaker 2: and twelve. They're at the plus twenty six yard line
- 3:49Speaker 2: going in, the game's scoreless, and they handed the ball
- 3:53Speaker 2: off to Will Shipley. That's a give up play in
- 3:56Speaker 2: a scoreless game. I mean, if you're winning twenty one,
- 4:00Speaker 2: like I said to Jeff and Adam, you understand that
- 4:02Speaker 2: you kick a field goal, you go ahead by more.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But in a scoreless game, they're basically saying that we
- 4:07Speaker 2: do not want Jalen Hurts to throw the football in that.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Hey it's Jeff Mosher. And if you have a family
- 4:12Speaker 4: and kids at home, like me, you always want them
- 4:14Speaker 4: to be fully protected. That's why I'm thrilled to be
- 4:17Speaker 4: a Simply Safe customer. And our house is equipped with
- 4:20Speaker 4: the most technologically advanced alarm system you can get. If
- 4:24Speaker 4: you could actually stop someone from breaking into your home
- 4:26Speaker 4: before they got inside, why wouldn't you. Traditional security systems
- 4:30Speaker 4: only react after a break in, but Simply Safe is
- 4:33Speaker 4: different because it stops crimes before they happen. With active
- 4:38Speaker 4: guard outdoor protection, they're AI powered cameras, detect threats while
- 4:42Speaker 4: they're still outside your home, and they alert real security agents.
- 4:46Speaker 4: These agents take action while the intruder is still outside
- 4:49Speaker 4: and confront the intruder to let them know they're being
- 4:52Speaker 4: watched on camera and police is on the way. And
- 4:55Speaker 4: that's how you stop a crime before it's committed. There's
- 4:58Speaker 4: no long term contracts or hidden fees. You can cancel
- 5:01Speaker 4: any time, and it comes with a sixty day money

- 5:23Speaker 5: Last night game. I'm interested to see what changes they're
- 5:28Speaker 5: having store on the offense for next week when they're
- 5:32Speaker 5: gonna play a better team and they're gonna have to
- 5:36Speaker 5: score some points to win.
- 5:37Speaker 6: I think the Eagles, well, that's a speculative question which
- 5:43Speaker 6: I can't answer, and that would depend on what they
- 5:46Speaker 6: feel they can and can't do.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I mean, I think that goes back to Greg.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Now, what they're doing? What's that?
- 5:55Speaker 4: Sorry, I'm gonna beat Lay a little bit, I guess,
- 5:58Speaker 4: but I was saying it goes back to the way
- 6:00Speaker 4: they're thrown out jumbo packages and what they're trying to
- 6:03Speaker 4: accomplish for three weeks.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Now, I mean, I would think Warren that that's not
- 6:10Speaker 2: going to change unless the game dictates it changes. Like,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I don't think they're gonna come out with a different approach. Now.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Having said that, does that mean that they're not going
- 6:18Speaker 2: to take a deep shot early in the game. You know,
- 6:20Speaker 2: you never know those kinds of things, But in terms
- 6:23Speaker 2: of an overall approach, they're not all of a sudden
- 6:25Speaker 2: going to be a passing team where they asked Jalen
- 6:28Speaker 2: Hurts to drop back forty times. The only way that
- 6:31Speaker 2: would happen is if the game played out that way
- 6:34Speaker 2: and the Lions, you know, scored thirty one or thirty
- 6:36Speaker 2: four points, which based on the Eagles defense, is not
- 6:40Speaker 2: likely to happen. Of course, you never know anything, but
- 6:43Speaker 2: you know, you could say that's not likely to happen.
- 6:46Speaker 2: But I would think that based on what they've done
- 6:48Speaker 2: the last three weeks, this is kind of what they
- 6:51Speaker 2: see their offense being.
- 6:54Speaker 5: So, you know, do you see part of this is
- 6:57Speaker 5: because the injuries on the offensive line that they've getting
- 7:00Speaker 5: really ultra conservative.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I have one injury in the offensive line.
- 7:04Speaker 5: But they had to yesterday they had Eline Johnson mismissed
- 7:08Speaker 5: the game.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but that came after after what their game plan
- 7:11Speaker 2: was that that didn't impact their game plan. Okay, this
- 7:14Speaker 2: is what they did to start the game. You know,
- 7:16Speaker 2: this was their game plan. So yeah, they only have
- 7:20Speaker 2: one injury and it's Cam Jurgen's and I guess we
- 7:22Speaker 2: don't know what his status will be going forward because
- 7:24Speaker 2: they ruled him out this week pretty early, so we
- 7:27Speaker 2: don't know. You know, the injury might be more serious
- 7:28Speaker 2: than they initially let on. We don't know, but you know,
- 7:31Speaker 2: he's the only injury.
- 7:33Speaker 5: So yeah, I just find it interesting they're paying a
- 7:36Speaker 5: lot of money to a quarterback into a wide receiver
- 7:39Speaker 5: and they're not really they're not really using a J. Brown's,
- 7:43Speaker 5: Like I missed waste the money this year.
- 7:47Speaker 2: It's first Yeah, they threw to him twice on the
- 7:51Speaker 2: first series and I think it was until the fourth quarter,
- 7:55Speaker 2: you know, So, I mean again, you know, this is Philly.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Game day is stressful enough, parking, traffic, long lines. We've
- 8:04Speaker 4: all been there, but when it comes to your cannabis,
- 8:07Speaker 4: Camden Apothecary makes it easy. This is the dispensary for
- 8:12Speaker 4: sports fans, just minutes outside of Philly with plenty of
- 8:15Speaker 4: free parking.

- 8:20Speaker 4: about convenience. Campedn Apothecary is all about the guest experience.

- 8:29Speaker 4: time you walk in. Plus, they carry only the best
- 8:32Speaker 4: quality cannabis at the fairest prices, So whether you're stocking

- 8:39Speaker 4: big win, you know you're getting the good stuff without overpaying.
- 8:44Speaker 4: They even show love to the community with specials for fans, students,
- 8:48Speaker 4: service members, and healthcare pros. Camedn Apothecary top quality cannabis,
- 8:54Speaker 4: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 8:57Speaker 4: one and up.
- 8:58Speaker 2: You guys can decide what think about how they're playing,
- 9:01Speaker 2: but they think this is their best way to play,
- 9:04Speaker 2: which is I guess surprising would be the word that
- 9:09Speaker 2: Jeff u is and it's a pretty good one.
- 9:10Speaker 7: Yeah, you kind of just touched on it.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Greg.
- 9:12Speaker 7: I was gonna ask though on the offense, was it
- 9:17Speaker 7: well more on like what green Bay was doing defensively,
- 9:20Speaker 7: because I felt like the green Bay's defense was really
- 9:22Speaker 7: good last night, so it made it hard to do anything.
- 9:26Speaker 7: So I just wanted to see, like were their plays
- 9:28Speaker 7: that were just being missed did you see or or
- 9:32Speaker 7: was it was their defense like really playing Ar's.
- 9:35Speaker 2: What surprised me even more than just what we talked
- 9:37Speaker 2: about is the strength of green Bay's defense is their
- 9:40Speaker 2: front six and front seven, and you could argue that
- 9:45Speaker 2: their corners are if not a weakness and not the
- 9:47Speaker 2: strength of their defense. And they didn't really attack their corners.
- 9:51Speaker 2: They chose not to throw the ball, so that's even
- 9:55Speaker 2: more surprising. I mean, until until the two plays in
- 9:59Speaker 2: the fourth quarter, the Barkley screen, which was a total
- 10:01Speaker 2: bust by kway Walker, so that was not a design play.
- 10:04Speaker 2: That was a bust. And then of course the touchdown
- 10:07Speaker 2: to Smith was a design play and they got exactly
- 10:10Speaker 2: what they wanted defensively. Until those two plays, which gained
- 10:13Speaker 2: I believe eighty seven yards. I think it was forty
- 10:16Speaker 2: one and forty six if memory serves me correctly, how
- 10:19Speaker 2: many yards had hurts thrown for up to that point,
- 10:22Speaker 2: you know, maybe one hundred or less.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Hey, I still like a good night out, but I'm

- 11:54Speaker 2: You know, that's that's eighty seven yards and then you
- 11:58Speaker 2: got it, and then add in the sixteen he threw
- 12:00Speaker 2: to Smith after that, and so that's we're talking about
- 12:05Speaker 2: eighty one hundred and three yards in the fourth quarter,
- 12:07Speaker 2: and he threw for less than two hundred, so that
- 12:10Speaker 2: means he had less than one hundred yards passing going
- 12:13Speaker 2: into the fourth quarter. So they really did not have
- 12:15Speaker 2: a passing game, and based on their use of and
- 12:18Speaker 2: deployment of personnel, it seemed that was by choice. So
- 12:24Speaker 2: you know, look, they won what a lot of people forget,
- 12:27Speaker 2: and they won the Super Bowl last year is and
- 12:31Speaker 2: I know I've said this numerous times, but Jalen Hurts
- 12:34Speaker 2: last year had eight or nine games where he threw
- 12:36Speaker 2: for less than two hundred yards, and this is the
- 12:39Speaker 2: way they played. They won a super Bowl, and they
- 12:43Speaker 2: had a dominant, dominant run game. In fact, you know,
- 12:45Speaker 2: obviously threw the touchdown in the Super Bowl to Smith,
- 12:49Speaker 2: you know, right after the turnover on downs, and that counts,
- 12:53Speaker 2: no question, but that was a special play for that moment.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Let's say that play didn't happen, he would have thrown.
- 12:59Speaker 2: They still would have won a super Bowl easily, and
- 13:01Speaker 2: he would have thrown for less than two hundred yards.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So you know, in a sense, this is this was
- 13:06Speaker 2: this is their template. This is kind of who they are.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Do we think it's gonna dramatically change? My guess is no.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Guys, thanks, it was great. We'll do it again next week.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Really appreciate it. It's a fun one. Guys. I love
- 13:17Speaker 2: those really really good questions tonight. Thanks guys, Thank you,
