- 0:09Speaker 1: Rochester, lives of the headquarters Hellub His Hog, Los Vegas.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It looks like you lost another one.
- 0:35Speaker 3: What's up? What's up? Family? Hey? Welcome back to the
- 0:39Speaker 3: his Hot radio podcast where faith, hip hop and hope
- 0:43Speaker 3: come together and we bring glory to Jesus Christ. Here
- 0:47Speaker 3: on the podcast, I'm your brother, I'm your host, mister
- 0:51Speaker 3: his Hop, and today we are going to continue our
- 0:55Speaker 3: verse by verse study through the Book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah
- 1:00Speaker 3: is a powerful book in the Old Testament. One of
- 1:04Speaker 3: the major prophets is they would say. Now in today's message,
- 1:09Speaker 3: God reminds Judah that he never desired empty religious rituals.
- 1:17Speaker 3: He disconnected from these empty rituals, or you can say
- 1:27Speaker 3: religious activities, and they came from a heart of disobedience.
- 1:36Speaker 3: God desires has always been a relationship with people built
- 1:45Speaker 3: on faith, trust and obedience. We can do all our
- 1:51Speaker 3: religious activity in our hearts could be far from him.
- 1:56Speaker 3: We could be chasing after sin. Now, as we go
- 2:02Speaker 3: through these episodes, while we go through these books, in
- 2:06Speaker 3: these chapters, we need to examine ourselves. What do we
- 2:10Speaker 3: love the most? What are we more passionate about? Do
- 2:16Speaker 3: we love to drink? Do we love our sin. Do
- 2:20Speaker 3: we love to go out and do drugs and give
- 2:25Speaker 3: it the girls? Do we love this world system? And
- 2:27Speaker 3: then we just get up and go to church and
- 2:31Speaker 3: our life never changes. That's what God is talking about.
- 2:37Speaker 3: If we love God, we will have a different relationship
- 2:40Speaker 3: with sin. We would hate it, and we will seek
- 2:43Speaker 3: to do things that please Him so that He can
- 2:46Speaker 3: feel comfortable in our lives. Amen. He wants to dwell
- 2:49Speaker 3: with us. So today's message is obedience is better than sacrifice.
- 2:58Speaker 3: But you know what I'm about to say. If you
- 3:00Speaker 3: want to get all you can out of a podcast,
- 3:03Speaker 3: we invite you to join us in a life chat.
- 3:07Speaker 3: The live chat is a place where we get encouragement,
- 3:10Speaker 3: where we can fellowship with one another, where we can
- 3:16Speaker 3: encourage each other and hold each other accountable. The Bible
- 3:20Speaker 3: says that the path to life is difficult and narrow,
- 3:24Speaker 3: and only a few will find it.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Well.
- 3:30Speaker 3: This is the podcast for the few. We don't have
- 3:34Speaker 3: to be lonely and by ourselves we can fellowship. But
- 3:38Speaker 3: also we need to encourage each other to stay on
- 3:41Speaker 3: the narrow path. It's not easy. Sometimes a lot of
- 3:45Speaker 3: us just buy default right by our fleshly desires, whant
- 3:49Speaker 3: to get off this path, but you need someone that
- 3:52Speaker 3: can speak into your life and say no, that path
- 3:56Speaker 3: will lead to death, that path will lead to destruction.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So that's what we are for you in the live
- 4:06Speaker 3: chat in our online community as we go through the
- 4:09Speaker 3: Bible together. All you have to do is download that

- 5:06Speaker 3: that people will be touched, Oh God, every person, Oh God,
- 5:11Speaker 3: that this podcast, this episode is intended for. We pray
- 5:15Speaker 3: Father God that it will be reached, that they will
- 5:18Speaker 3: be reached without hindrance, without distraction or delay Oh God,
- 5:22Speaker 3: Oh Lord, I pray God that you will draw them
- 5:25Speaker 3: to this podcast, that they'll just click the link, and
- 5:28Speaker 3: that they will Father God, Oh Lord, find But they
- 5:31Speaker 3: are seeking Lord, and we know Lord that they are
- 5:34Speaker 3: seeking you, Lord, that you are the only one that
- 5:37Speaker 3: can fulfill our lives. Oh God, you are the only
- 5:40Speaker 3: one that can quench our thirst. Oh God, you are
- 5:43Speaker 3: the only one that can heal, deliver us, and set
- 5:47Speaker 3: us free from a life of sin. And so we
- 5:51Speaker 3: lift up the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and
- 5:55Speaker 3: in your name we pray Amen. All right, We're gonna
- 6:05Speaker 3: cover verse twenty down to verse twenty seven today and
- 6:11Speaker 3: we are almost finished with chapter seven. Now, Jeremiah is
- 6:17Speaker 3: a long book. The Lord willing, we will cover the
- 6:21Speaker 3: entire book. If you want to look at our archives
- 6:25Speaker 3: and you can go down to our replays. We've already
- 6:28Speaker 3: covered a couple of books on this podcast. We started
- 6:31Speaker 3: with Revelation, we jumped to the Book of Romans. The
- 6:36Speaker 3: pattern seems to be Old Testament, New Testament. Old Testament
- 6:40Speaker 3: New Testament. We cover the Book of Acts, and now
- 6:43Speaker 3: we're back in the Old Testament of the Book of Jeremiah.
- 6:47Speaker 3: So there's a lot. If you want to fall back
- 6:50Speaker 3: and listen to those podcast episodes, I would love to
- 6:56Speaker 3: encourage you to do so. You can find them on
- 7:00Speaker 3: website his hot nation dot com and click the podcast
- 7:05Speaker 3: a logo on the homepage and it'll take you right there.
- 7:11Speaker 3: All right, start in verse twenty, as we always do.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I'm gonna read it and then break it down, go
- 7:18Speaker 3: over my notes, all the good stuff here. We're gonna
- 7:23Speaker 3: do it verse by verse, chapter by chapter. Study. I'm
- 7:26Speaker 3: coming at you through the New King James. There is
- 7:30Speaker 3: a version that I use if you want to follow along.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Verse twenty. Therefore, thus says the Lord God, behold my anger,
- 7:40Speaker 3: and my fury will be poured out on this place,
- 7:46Speaker 3: oh man, on man, and on beast, on the trees
- 7:52Speaker 3: of the field, in on the fruit of the ground,
- 7:56Speaker 3: and it will burn and not be quenched.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Wow.
- 8:02Speaker 3: This is whoo. This is powerful. This is a powerful verse.
- 8:10Speaker 5: It looks like you lost another one.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Amen. Now, even though God's fury and wrath was revealed
- 8:26Speaker 3: in the Old Testament, there's different stories that we read
- 8:30Speaker 3: through the Old Testament where you read about the fury
- 8:33Speaker 3: of God and his wrath. We saw it with the
- 8:37Speaker 3: flood of Noah, how God judged the entire world. We
- 8:43Speaker 3: also saw this in the city of Sodom Ingamora, where
- 8:47Speaker 3: a fire and brimstone was reigned upon the city. God
- 8:54Speaker 3: can just destroy a city in a second. That is
- 8:57Speaker 3: not hard for him to do. That's why we need
- 9:01Speaker 3: to always reverence God, have a holy fear and respect
- 9:06Speaker 3: and a reverence for a holy God. The Bible said,
- 9:10Speaker 3: it's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of
- 9:13Speaker 3: the living God, a terrifying thing. And man, a lot
- 9:19Speaker 3: of people only want to look in touch and teach
- 9:22Speaker 3: about the love of God. But what about the fury
- 9:26Speaker 3: of God? Now? Also in the New Testament we read
- 9:32Speaker 3: a verse it says that my fury will come up
- 9:36Speaker 3: on my face when the nations surround Israel, when the
- 9:42Speaker 3: nations go against Israel to judge that nation led by Russia,
- 9:50Speaker 3: and a lot of confederate Islamic nations will follow Russia.
- 9:56Speaker 3: This is gonna happen in the future, and Beloved, it
- 9:59Speaker 3: could be closer than we really think. A lot of
- 10:04Speaker 3: Bible commentators consider this to be World War three. But
- 10:08Speaker 3: the scary part about it is where is the United
- 10:11Speaker 3: States of America. The United States has always been an
- 10:17Speaker 3: ally to Israel, and we've always been a deterrent to
- 10:21Speaker 3: the other nations of the world. They will not invade
- 10:25Speaker 3: Israel because Israel had us to back them up. Now
- 10:32Speaker 3: it's not like they need us, don't get me wrong.
- 10:34Speaker 3: They have Almighty God. And that's what this verse is
- 10:37Speaker 3: talking about. It's in Isaiah chapter fifty eight, I believe.
- 10:44Speaker 3: If that's not it, look it up. But it's the
- 10:48Speaker 3: invasion of the Northern King into Israel. And in that
- 10:53Speaker 3: prophecy it says his fury will rise up on his face.
- 10:58Speaker 3: So we don't want to test this side of God
- 11:00Speaker 3: and man. We don't want to live a life of
- 11:02Speaker 3: sin and provoke him to wrath a man or go
- 11:07Speaker 3: against his word, because God is a warrior king. And
- 11:16Speaker 3: so we see his fury right here in the Old
- 11:19Speaker 3: Testament against the nation of Judah. Now God continues to
- 11:26Speaker 3: warn them about it, and that's an awesome thing about God.
- 11:31Speaker 3: He'll give us warning after warning. Now the judgment came
- 11:37Speaker 3: upon Judah, it would affect every aspect of life because
- 11:43Speaker 3: sin has infected every part of society. His judgment was
- 11:50Speaker 3: so thorough. Now persistent rebellion eventually produces consequences that affect
- 11:59Speaker 3: entire communities, not just individuals. We have family now. Sin
- 12:08Speaker 3: is never isolated right. Our families can be affected by it.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Our choices impact our churches in our communities, and our
- 12:21Speaker 3: choices can even impact future generations. That's why God takes
- 12:27Speaker 3: it so seriously. When he judges. He judged. He judged
- 12:34Speaker 3: the grass, the beasts, the animals, everything. Sin can destroy
- 12:39Speaker 3: and affect every area of a community. People really don't
- 12:45Speaker 3: understand it. People don't understand what they're really dealing with
- 12:50Speaker 3: when they give their lives over to evil. Verse twenty
- 12:56Speaker 3: one and twenty three says the Lord of Hosts, the
- 13:02Speaker 3: God of Israel, add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices
- 13:07Speaker 3: and eat meat. For I did not speak to your
- 13:11Speaker 3: fathers or command them in the day that I brought
- 13:16Speaker 3: them out of the land of Egypt concerning burnt offerings
- 13:20Speaker 3: or sacrifices. But this is what I commanded them, saying,
- 13:25Speaker 3: obey my voice, and I will be your God, and
- 13:31Speaker 3: you shall be my people and walk in all the
- 13:36Speaker 3: ways that I have commanded you, that it may be
- 13:40Speaker 3: well with you. Hallelujah. Now God is not saying sacrifices
- 13:48Speaker 3: were never commanded. Here his emphasis. He's emphasizing priorities right now.
- 13:58Speaker 3: And that's a great thing for us. Us to do
- 14:01Speaker 3: is to always examine the priorities of our lives. Amen.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Before sacrifices came relationship, before rituals came obedience, before ceremonies
- 14:22Speaker 3: came covenant. God's primary desire has always been obedience from
- 14:32Speaker 3: a loving heart rather than a mechanical religious activity. Let
- 14:37Speaker 3: me say that again. God's primary desire has always been
- 14:43Speaker 3: obedience from a loving heart rather than mechanical religious activities. Now,
- 14:54Speaker 3: God doesn't need our religious performances. He wants our hearts. Amen,
- 15:03Speaker 3: let that fall into your spirit. The first thing God
- 15:08Speaker 3: asked of Israel was obedience. The first thing he asked
- 15:14Speaker 3: of us today is obedience. That's the first thing his
- 15:17Speaker 3: first requirement. He's not asking for perfection, He is asking
- 15:26Speaker 3: us for obedience. We need to add this to our list.
- 15:31Speaker 3: We need to ask for an obedient spirit and an
- 15:34Speaker 3: obedient heart. That God will take this rebellious heart out
- 15:38Speaker 3: of us and replace it with an obedient heart. And man,
- 15:42Speaker 3: we can't do this without him. Verse twenty four. Get
- 15:48Speaker 3: they did not obey or incline their ear, but follow
- 15:54Speaker 3: the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts and
- 16:00Speaker 3: went backward and not forward. Now, the dictate of an
- 16:06Speaker 3: evil heart, that is the definition of evil. We think
- 16:12Speaker 3: God understands. We think because it's us in our own heart.
- 16:16Speaker 3: We have a habit of excusing our own sin. But
- 16:20Speaker 3: when we see our sin on other people, we want
- 16:22Speaker 3: to condemn them. Right. That's why in the family, when
- 16:28Speaker 3: a child takes on the sin of the parent, the
- 16:34Speaker 3: child and that parent don't get along. Have you heard
- 16:39Speaker 3: them say, Oh, this child is way too much like me,
- 16:41Speaker 3: and I struggle with this child. That's because that child
- 16:45Speaker 3: may have picked up on the parent's sin. Amen. Now
- 16:56Speaker 3: people refuse to listen. Instead of moving forward to forward spirituality,
- 17:02Speaker 3: they moved backwards. They followed their own hearts rather than
- 17:07Speaker 3: God's word. Belove it. That is a mistake. That's why
- 17:11Speaker 3: we need to renew our minds. That's why we need
- 17:15Speaker 3: to be on our word daily and not follow the
- 17:19Speaker 3: dictates of our evil hearts. But make sure we are
- 17:23Speaker 3: following the word of God. When we want to be
- 17:25Speaker 3: angry or bitter or upset. The Bible says, be angry,
- 17:30Speaker 3: but sin not. Make sure we forgive, make sure we
- 17:33Speaker 3: get that out of our hearts and our out of
- 17:36Speaker 3: our minds. Amen. My prayer lately is Lord, your way
- 17:40Speaker 3: is better than my way. Your will not mine. Amen.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Now we have to guard against popular idea sympathy following
- 17:58Speaker 3: our hearts. The Bible tea teach you that our hearts
- 18:01Speaker 3: need God's guidance because they can be deceptive. Let me
- 18:10Speaker 3: say that again. Our hearts are We need God to
- 18:14Speaker 3: guide our hearts because our hearts is very deceptive. The
- 18:21Speaker 3: Bible says our hearts are desperately evil. Who can know them?
- 18:27Speaker 3: But family culture today will tell us to follow your heart.
- 18:35Speaker 3: God says, follow me. There is a huge difference. Our
- 18:40Speaker 3: hearts change, but God's truth will never change. That is
- 18:48Speaker 3: the worst thing we can do is follow our hearts.
- 18:51Speaker 3: And what are we told even growing up right watching
- 18:58Speaker 3: Disney movies? Is you know I remember growing up? You know,
- 19:02Speaker 3: follow your heart like it's a noble thing. And our
- 19:07Speaker 3: hearts will lead us astray if we are not care
- 19:12Speaker 3: for blooding. Amen. That is a lie that's being told
- 19:19Speaker 3: even to our children. Follow your heart and people will
- 19:25Speaker 3: make it. They'll give you a badge. They make you
- 19:27Speaker 3: think it's freedom or you're doing something noble when you're
- 19:33Speaker 3: following your own evil desires. Twenty since since the day
- 19:41Speaker 3: that your father's came out of the land of Egypt,
- 19:44Speaker 3: until this day, I have even sent to you all
- 19:48Speaker 3: my servants to prophets daily, rising up early in sending them.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yet they did not obey me or incline their but
- 20:02Speaker 3: stiffened their neck. They did worse than their fathers. Now
- 20:11Speaker 3: God reminds them of his incredible patience for generations. He
- 20:18Speaker 3: sent profit after profit, warning after warning, invitation after invitation,
- 20:27Speaker 3: Yet the people continually refused. God's repeated warnings demonstrate his mercy.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Let me repeat that, God's repeated warnings demonstrates his mercy.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Every prophet was another opportunity to repent. The entire nation
- 20:53Speaker 3: could have avoided this destruction. Right. But this passage right
- 20:59Speaker 3: here feels the heart of God. God doesn't enjoy judgment.
- 21:05Speaker 3: He desires restoration. Amen. He kept reaching out because he
- 21:12Speaker 3: wanted his people back. He didn't want his people to
- 21:16Speaker 3: be destroyed. He didn't want to destroy the city. He
- 21:20Speaker 3: did not want to destroy Jerusalem.
- 21:25Speaker 2: It looks like you lost another one.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Therefore, you will speak all these words to them, but
- 21:31Speaker 3: they will not obey you. You shall also call to them,
- 21:37Speaker 3: but they will not answer you. Now, this is why
- 21:41Speaker 3: they called Jeremiah the weeping prophet. He did not have
- 21:46Speaker 3: that one convert He did not win that one disciple,
- 21:52Speaker 3: not one person heeded his warnings, not one person to
- 22:00Speaker 3: ported his ministry. He had to stand alone against the
- 22:06Speaker 3: nation and against an army of false prophets. But I
- 22:12Speaker 3: got great respect for Jeremiah because he stayed the course. Amen.
- 22:18Speaker 3: God strengthened him in this if you read it, Jeremiah
- 22:23Speaker 3: went through a lot. He've been to prison. Kind of
- 22:26Speaker 3: reminds me similar to the apostle Paul what he went through. Sometimes, Beloved,
- 22:32Speaker 3: we have to pay a huge price to serve our
- 22:36Speaker 3: Master and our king, but it is worth it. Amen.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Now God tells Jerusalem something difficult. The people are not
- 22:48Speaker 3: going to listen. Yet Jeremiah must still preach. Success is
- 22:58Speaker 3: not measured by people response. Remember that there was a
- 23:03Speaker 3: lot of times at the club that we did concerts
- 23:09Speaker 3: and the chairs were empty. I mean, artists would pay
- 23:16Speaker 3: their own flight ticket, Artists put up their own money
- 23:21Speaker 3: to invest in our community to come to minister and
- 23:27Speaker 3: love on our community. We had artists from all over
- 23:31Speaker 3: the world that book. Flights came to Las Vegas to
- 23:35Speaker 3: come and minister small and great and nothing but red chairs.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Our chairs were red at the time. And I would
- 23:45Speaker 3: look and I would struggle with this. But this first
- 23:50Speaker 3: verse right here actually encourages me. It's not about the
- 23:55Speaker 3: results the response to people. People still knew that a
- 24:00Speaker 3: gospel hip hop concert took place. We were still making
- 24:05Speaker 3: impact in the spiritual realm, whether people believed it or not.
- 24:11Speaker 3: So success in the Kingdom does not depend on people's response.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Success is measured by our faithfulness. We did not stop.
- 24:21Speaker 3: We would have kept going even till this day if
- 24:25Speaker 3: it wasn't for a financial difficulty. We didn't care about
- 24:30Speaker 3: the crowds. We had a model saying from eight to
- 24:34Speaker 3: eighty we don't care if eight people came or eight
- 24:39Speaker 3: million people, eighty million people came. We were still gonna
- 24:44Speaker 3: be faithful. Amen. Our responsibility is faithfulness to God's calling,
- 24:53Speaker 3: not controlling the outcome of it. We cannot control how
- 25:01Speaker 3: people respond to our ministry. Now, this is encouraging for
- 25:07Speaker 3: everyone who shares their faith with parents, pastors, teachers, mentors, witnesses.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Your job is to share the truth. Only God can
- 25:25Speaker 3: change your heart. All we have to do is keep faithful.
- 25:34Speaker 3: So hopefully this episode encourages parents, godly parents and pastors
- 25:42Speaker 3: and teachers and mentors, witnesses, And this actually encouraging myself
- 25:49Speaker 3: because I would love to see multitudes of people in
- 25:54Speaker 3: the life chat. I would love to see a lot
- 25:57Speaker 3: of people in our community pouring division. I would love
- 26:02Speaker 3: to see pastors and churches get behind us. I would
- 26:05Speaker 3: love to see people recognizing the value of a Christian
- 26:13Speaker 3: club in the community and how impactful it could be
- 26:19Speaker 3: and how it could truly bless a church and bless
- 26:24Speaker 3: a nation. But I have to really, I have to
- 26:30Speaker 3: leave the results to my heavenly Father, and my job
- 26:35Speaker 3: is to be faithful to where he called me. Amen.
- 26:41Speaker 3: All right, let's take a break.
- 26:44Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 26:47Speaker 5: is the His Hop radio show, Chad.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Of the Most.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I know my worth so that he because they did
- 27:00Speaker 2: here on words, so that hate won't work. More won't work,
- 27:05Speaker 2: won't work, more won't work, and I hate won't work.
- 27:09Speaker 2: More won't work, won't won't work, won't work.
- 27:12Speaker 4: And I hate won't work.
- 27:14Speaker 2: All the lives and the dirt they be throwing on
- 27:16Speaker 2: my name can be mad. They the issue would the same,
- 27:19Speaker 2: all that dirt, but I left it out a stad
- 27:21Speaker 2: glory to the most. How I let the be bang
- 27:25Speaker 2: y'all is the only one I feel. They've been trying
- 27:27Speaker 2: to cancel me still here, they've been trying to black ball.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I'm still here. Give it all there, y'all. Watch the
- 27:33Speaker 2: words disappinted. Tell them to be paying.
- 27:35Speaker 4: For the kingdom very near.
- 27:37Speaker 2: If I fall in sin my hate, it's probably chill.
- 27:39Speaker 2: This is a lot, but go in and out of
- 27:41Speaker 2: the years. But I'm going straight into the light like
- 27:43Speaker 2: a dead Give it like the Christ there and watch
- 27:46Speaker 2: how we change. Have my own plans, but the Father
- 27:48Speaker 2: rearranged it. All My haters linked up me more than
- 27:51Speaker 2: who they came with, taking b to three fourteen, being
- 27:53Speaker 2: found playing this child at the most, I know my worth.

- 28:23Speaker 2: and I'm really who I say I am.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Hate to run on.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Your parade and rulling all your plans, I really godshall
- 28:28Speaker 2: so you never had a chance, all the lots of
- 28:30Speaker 2: slander to convince all your fans. I don't at least
- 28:33Speaker 2: I don't have no blood on my hands. I know
- 28:35Speaker 2: I win because I'm want a winning team. It's a
- 28:37Speaker 2: bishop to a rook. What's a road to the king.
- 28:39Speaker 2: The traditions over all his commands is a thing. What
- 28:43Speaker 2: these shoe was saying matter fifteen. Yeah, okay, get it.
- 28:46Speaker 4: In my lis make you mad because the wickedness you
- 28:49Speaker 4: live it in. Don't take it personal. It's my child.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Keep it business then, and if you were finish, used
- 28:54Speaker 2: to switch it in chide. At the most, I know

- 29:14Speaker 4: That hat won't work.
- 29:26Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 29:30Speaker 5: is the his Hot radio show.
- 29:48Speaker 3: All right, all right, we are back from that break
- 29:51Speaker 3: that was Bryce and Gray with the hate won't work
- 29:55Speaker 3: on the musical end of this podcast. Check him out.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Make sure you support, like, subscribe, do all that good stuff.
- 30:03Speaker 3: We love to support those who are in the front
- 30:05Speaker 3: lines in the kingdom and this music thing. Those who
- 30:09Speaker 3: refuse to compromise and stand ten toes down. That's who
- 30:13Speaker 3: we support and that's how we run the radio station.
- 30:19Speaker 3: No compromise, Just christ Baby over here. I want to
- 30:23Speaker 3: give a huge shout out to the Life Chat. Shout
- 30:25Speaker 3: out to our brothers zoom three up in the Life
- 30:27Speaker 3: Chat always faithfully showing up.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Man.
- 30:32Speaker 3: We appreciate you. We appreciate the fact that you're able
- 30:36Speaker 3: to get ministered to and touched by the Word of
- 30:39Speaker 3: God and as we know, and and not to brag
- 30:44Speaker 3: or pat ourselves on the back. Actually, it's heartbreaking that
- 30:51Speaker 3: a lot of people can get themes from this podcast
- 30:56Speaker 3: that they're not able to get at church. Every church
- 31:00Speaker 3: to teach the Word of God, verse by verse, chapter
- 31:03Speaker 3: by chapter, even if you have a Sunday mourning service
- 31:08Speaker 3: that all you do is preach. Yes, we need to preach,
- 31:13Speaker 3: but we also need to teach at the same time.
- 31:16Speaker 3: There's a difference between preaching and teaching, and the Bible
- 31:21Speaker 3: says that it's the word that will help us grow spiritually.
- 31:24Speaker 3: So we appreciate everyone who shows up, everyone who logs
- 31:28Speaker 3: into the life Chat. Our brother Corinth misss his hot Quincy,
- 31:34Speaker 3: people who've logged in from the past that haven't been
- 31:37Speaker 3: around in a while. We still appreciate y'all for even
- 31:41Speaker 3: coming through. And also we have listeners all over the world.
- 31:47Speaker 3: We do. We have hundreds of listeners who tune in.
- 31:51Speaker 3: We have people in China, we have people in Israel,
- 31:54Speaker 3: we have people in Europe. Check I checked this that
- 32:00Speaker 3: the I can't get the word out the statistics. I
- 32:05Speaker 3: check our statistics weekly and it shows our you know,
- 32:11Speaker 3: who logged in in, what part of the world they've
- 32:14Speaker 3: logged in from. I'm gonna start showing it on our
- 32:17Speaker 3: social media pages or even possibly on our website in
- 32:23Speaker 3: the blog section. I'll start posting those so we're not
- 32:28Speaker 3: by ourselves. They're just not logging into life Chat. We
- 32:31Speaker 3: want to encourage y'all to log on in. We appreciate y'all.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Hey man. That said, let's go to the accountability partners segment.
- 32:46Speaker 3: As I said before, some of us we try to
- 32:50Speaker 3: do this walk by ourselves, but we are not meant
- 32:54Speaker 3: to do so. That's why God created the body of Christ.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Church is God's yeah, And when you don't go to church,
- 33:03Speaker 3: you're missing a vital part of your walk with God.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Protection comes with it, spiritual covering comes with it. This,
- 33:15Speaker 3: brothers and sister, Now let's be warned. Every church there's
- 33:20Speaker 3: gonna be carnal Christians and hypocrites and backsliders. That's just
- 33:25Speaker 3: gonna come with the territory. You got to seek out
- 33:28Speaker 3: the good fruits. You got to ask God surround people,
- 33:34Speaker 3: bring people around me that will sharpen me and strengthen
- 33:37Speaker 3: my faith, and I just go with the flow. No,
- 33:41Speaker 3: you're not gonna find the perfect church until we get
- 33:45Speaker 3: to heaven, So don't let that discourage you. The word
- 33:49Speaker 3: of God stills, it works. And I'm not saying that
- 33:53Speaker 3: you should go under a wicked pastor and that at all. Now,
- 33:58Speaker 3: if your pastor's wicked, then no, don't join that church.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Find a faithful man of God. And that's the place
- 34:08Speaker 3: where you want to be. Because remember, sin will affect
- 34:12Speaker 3: everything that comes in contact with it. That's why God
- 34:15Speaker 3: burnt up grass, He burnt up the trees, he burnt
- 34:19Speaker 3: up the animals. We're gonna get into that. But God's
- 34:23Speaker 3: judgment was severe. He was cleansing sin and corruption from
- 34:29Speaker 3: that city. So you need somebody who can speak it
- 34:34Speaker 3: to your life, Speak the word of God, someone who
- 34:36Speaker 3: can correct then challenge the evil dictates of our hearts
- 34:41Speaker 3: with the word of God. If you don't have that
- 34:43Speaker 3: somebody in your life, I want to encourage you to
- 34:47Speaker 3: go to his Hot radio app. Click the top left menu,
- 34:51Speaker 3: hit that drop down, click on podcasts, and then click
- 34:54Speaker 3: on his Hot Radio podcast. And once you do, go
- 34:58Speaker 3: find the link called the Accountability Partner. And once you
- 35:02Speaker 3: find that link, go through the questions, go through the answers,
- 35:08Speaker 3: and you request a follow up. And also, if nothing else,
- 35:11Speaker 3: just log into life chat every day Monday through Saturday
- 35:16Speaker 3: at eleven am Pacific Standard time and meet us there
- 35:21Speaker 3: because there's a challenge that we post there every day.
- 35:25Speaker 3: And today's challenge is ask this question to you. Call
- 35:30Speaker 3: your accountability partner and let this be your topic. Ask him,
- 35:37Speaker 3: is there any area in your life where you know
- 35:41Speaker 3: God's instructing, where you know God's instruction excuse me, but
- 35:47Speaker 3: have delayed obedience. Let me read that again, is there
- 35:52Speaker 3: an area of your life where you know God's instruction
- 35:56Speaker 3: but you have delayed your obedience. Pray together and encourage
- 36:02Speaker 3: one another to take that next step of faith. Amen. Also,
- 36:16Speaker 3: I want it reminds you that his Hot Radio is
- 36:18Speaker 3: a monitored and a reporting radio station. We report to
- 36:22Speaker 3: the charts. We encourage you to send us new music.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Go to our website hiss hot nation dot com at
- 36:31Speaker 3: the submissions tab and also check out our promo. You
- 36:38Speaker 3: can advertise. We have a long reach with our network.
- 36:42Speaker 3: We'd like to advertise your music and even if you
- 36:46Speaker 3: want your music played on our podcast, that's the place
- 36:48Speaker 3: you would go to submit your music. All right, we
- 36:56Speaker 3: love to have some fun. Right, who says that serving
- 36:59Speaker 3: God is not We'd love to have some fun, have
- 37:01Speaker 3: a little friendly competition. It's time to go to the
- 37:05Speaker 3: live chat and get your fingers ready. This is our
- 37:08Speaker 3: trivia time and our brother Zone three. He remains the
- 37:13Speaker 3: trivia champion. He's had other contenders and challengers, but they
- 37:19Speaker 3: all fell to the wayside. So, my brother, we appreciate you.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Like I said, like if you stay the champ this
- 37:27Speaker 3: whole entire year, we need to do something. You know
- 37:30Speaker 3: what I mean, I mentioned it steak dinner, but you
- 37:33Speaker 3: know Zone has a giving heart. He's like, well, let's
- 37:36Speaker 3: get people encouraging people involved and we'll give them a
- 37:39Speaker 3: steak dinner or something like that. But one of the
- 37:43Speaker 3: ways we can get more people is to share this podcast.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Share the link. We do have a YouTube link on
- 37:52Speaker 3: our YouTube page his homination. It's audio only. We do
- 37:57Speaker 3: have video of our podcast, different podcasts that we have,
- 38:03Speaker 3: not this particular one. Maybe one day we'll create this
- 38:06Speaker 3: into a video. Let me know in a live chat
- 38:09Speaker 3: if you think if we convert this to video, this
- 38:13Speaker 3: would be you know, something that you know might take
- 38:20Speaker 3: it further. I'm getting ready to get my wife her
- 38:25Speaker 3: podcast up and going, So there's a lot going on
- 38:31Speaker 3: our end, but we definitely need y'all to like subscribe
- 38:35Speaker 3: and share and help us get the word outs. But
- 38:37Speaker 3: trivia time, here is a question who was the prophet
- 38:42Speaker 3: that confrontic King David after his sin with Bathsheba? Who
- 38:49Speaker 3: was the prophet? Now, a lot of these trivia questions
- 38:53Speaker 3: we're talking about different profits in the Old Testament. Since
- 38:56Speaker 3: Jeremiah is considered an Old test him a profit. So
- 39:02Speaker 3: we're just trying to get y'all more familiar with the
- 39:05Speaker 3: prophets and some of the things that they did in
- 39:08Speaker 3: some of the roles they played. But who was the
- 39:12Speaker 3: prophet that confronted King David after he sinned with Bathsheba.
- 39:19Speaker 3: As we know, David committed adult you with Bathsheba and
- 39:23Speaker 3: murdered her husband. Why because he followed the evil dictates
- 39:28Speaker 3: of his own heart. He did not confront his heart
- 39:31Speaker 3: with the word of God. And that's one of the
- 39:35Speaker 3: things we need to do when we are tempted and
- 39:38Speaker 3: our hearts lead us astray, when we desire evil things,
- 39:42Speaker 3: we need to confront it with the Word. That's why
- 39:44Speaker 3: we need to study it. That's why it's amazing when
- 39:49Speaker 3: you guys do show up to this podcast every day
- 39:51Speaker 3: at eleven to train your heart to renew your mind.
- 39:56Speaker 3: This will keep sin out of your life. Amen, hallelujah. Yeah.
- 40:07Speaker 3: I want to give a huge community shout out. I
- 40:09Speaker 3: want to say Happy Father's Day. Are the father's out there.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Father's Day was just yesterday and man, man, man, did
- 40:18Speaker 3: I have an amazing Father's Day? And my wife is
- 40:22Speaker 3: just so amazing. I love it. She bought me a
- 40:27Speaker 3: new laptop so that I could be a mobile with
- 40:31Speaker 3: the podcast. It's amazing. So we're gonna bring a lot
- 40:34Speaker 3: of content your way. But also I have to shout
- 40:45Speaker 3: out my wife. I'm gonna say on this podcast how
- 40:49Speaker 3: much I love you. This is his hop. I appreciate you.
- 40:58Speaker 3: If you know my story, to take a little time,
- 41:01Speaker 3: so hold on. It'll be worth it if you know
- 41:06Speaker 3: my story. My testimony, my background has been I came
- 41:10Speaker 3: from an abusive home. My mom was verbally, emotionally and
- 41:16Speaker 3: physically abusive to me and my siblings. Not to blame her,
- 41:20Speaker 3: we believe that she had some type of mental illness,
- 41:24Speaker 3: but growing up it was crazy. You know, it's hard
- 41:27Speaker 3: for children to understand that, especially at a young and
- 41:32Speaker 3: a tender age. But the point is, and I for forgiven.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I have closure. I had forgiven my mother. We just
- 41:44Speaker 3: went back to go see her a couple of months ago,
- 41:47Speaker 3: a couple of weeks ago actually, and God has given
- 41:50Speaker 3: me closure on that. I struggled for years from the abuse.
- 41:56Speaker 3: But God is a healer. But part of my testimony
- 42:00Speaker 3: is I would draw to escape the abuse. I would
- 42:03Speaker 3: draw and I could create my own world. I would
- 42:08Speaker 3: read books and one of my favorite characters was Garfield.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I used to order his books from school, and I
- 42:16Speaker 3: would just read them over and over again. And I
- 42:18Speaker 3: remember as I would look at the character, I would
- 42:22Speaker 3: look at the background. I would look at his bedroom
- 42:28Speaker 3: or things like that, and just imagine, you know, walking
- 42:32Speaker 3: down the hallway to the next room, or walking through
- 42:34Speaker 3: the house, or there would be a scene where they
- 42:39Speaker 3: would show the outside of the house, and I would
- 42:42Speaker 3: imagine myself walking through the neighborhood and walking down the
- 42:46Speaker 3: street and just jumping into that world. And so I
- 42:55Speaker 3: would do it to escape the abuse that I would
- 43:01Speaker 3: experience at the time. And so also what I would
- 43:07Speaker 3: do is I would draw my own characters. Have three
- 43:11Speaker 3: childhood characters that I used to do. They were called Reggie, Freddie,
- 43:16Speaker 3: and Fussles. They were like little my wife calls them
- 43:18Speaker 3: little monsters, but they were not. I never really considered monsters.
- 43:22Speaker 3: But they were like little puffballs with eyes on them
- 43:25Speaker 3: and feet. And it came from one of our classes.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I think I was back in kindergartner first grade, and
- 43:33Speaker 3: me and two other of my friends we got them
- 43:37Speaker 3: and we just made like a whole story out of them.
- 43:39Speaker 3: We would play with them, and then all of a sudden,
- 43:41Speaker 3: I created books a couple of books, and I made
- 43:48Speaker 3: stories out of them, and these were like my pride
- 43:52Speaker 3: and joy. I used to I love these books. I
- 43:55Speaker 3: would just read them, and you know, when things would
- 43:58Speaker 3: get hard and abuse of a whatever and difficult at
- 44:02Speaker 3: in the you know, reality, I would escape to these
- 44:05Speaker 3: books that I wrote as a child, and I would
- 44:10Speaker 3: share this with my wife. Man, it's like I'm trying
- 44:14Speaker 3: to hold back tears right now. I shared this I
- 44:18Speaker 3: aspect with my wife that my grandmother threw them away
- 44:22Speaker 3: one day and I found them in the trash. I
- 44:25Speaker 3: saved them. I saved my books in the trash and
- 44:32Speaker 3: I held one to them. And so when I turned
- 44:36Speaker 3: twelve years old, I, you know, it just got too crazy.
- 44:40Speaker 3: I was bigger and older, bigger, you know, I could
- 44:44Speaker 3: fight back a little bit, and I ran away from
- 44:46Speaker 3: my mom. She tried to beat me one day, but
- 44:49Speaker 3: I left you and my stepdad at the time had
- 44:53Speaker 3: separated from my mom, so I went to go move
- 44:55Speaker 3: in with him. And then I had a desire to
- 44:59Speaker 3: move with my biological father, so I contacted him and
- 45:06Speaker 3: we moved to Vegas, and I've been in Vegas the
- 45:12Speaker 3: whole rest of the time with my biological dad, and
- 45:18Speaker 3: so my books made it all the way to Vegas, right,
- 45:22Speaker 3: But then I had a crazy experience with my step mom.
- 45:25Speaker 3: My stepmom was abusive as well. I mean, she wasn't
- 45:30Speaker 3: like hitting on us, but she, you know, my step
- 45:34Speaker 3: family at the time where in opposition towards us. You know,
- 45:39Speaker 3: my stepmom didn't like the fact that where you know,
- 45:43Speaker 3: my dad took us in. I guess it was just
- 45:46Speaker 3: them this whole time, and you know, she would call
- 45:49Speaker 3: our mom crazy and this and that and the other.
- 45:52Speaker 3: She just didn't like it. And so she ended up
- 45:55Speaker 3: finding these books and she threw them away. Now the
- 46:01Speaker 3: books didn't survive that go around. I was not able
- 46:04Speaker 3: to rescue them. I was not able to save my
- 46:08Speaker 3: books because you know, go figure. You know now in
- 46:13Speaker 3: my teenage years and things are still crazy, and so
- 46:18Speaker 3: I still needed those books to escape that world. But
- 46:22Speaker 3: I have friends. I had a friend in the neighborhood.
- 46:24Speaker 3: We used to go and draw together. So it wasn't
- 46:27Speaker 3: like I stopped drawing. It was just those childhood characters
- 46:33Speaker 3: just didn't survive for trip to Vegas, and so I
- 46:37Speaker 3: shared it with my wife and I even drew the
- 46:40Speaker 3: characters for her. But this amazing woman did because she's
- 46:46Speaker 3: an author. God has told her and prophesied to her
- 46:51Speaker 3: that she would write books. She has a lot of
- 46:53Speaker 3: books to produce, but she has not completed a book yet.
- 46:58Speaker 3: And I'm like, just complete a book. She writes and writes,
- 47:02Speaker 3: and she takes notes and then she puts books here,
- 47:05Speaker 3: you know, notes here. It's like sometimes I walk in
- 47:08Speaker 3: the room. We got piled up paper and paper all
- 47:10Speaker 3: over the place, like I don't even know how she
- 47:12Speaker 3: organizes it. But these are her books. And she's got
- 47:16Speaker 3: a lot that she's working on, but she hasn't published
- 47:18Speaker 3: one yet. Guess what, y'all, She went and published on
- 47:23Speaker 3: my childhood characters and presented this book to me. We
- 47:28Speaker 3: went to the park yesterday. I had no idea. She
- 47:32Speaker 3: took a video of my first reaction, but she brought
- 47:37Speaker 3: my childhood characters back to life. The book is called
- 47:44Speaker 3: let Me Get It on Amazon, The Lost Dreamers, And
- 47:48Speaker 3: so she's got Reggie, Freddie and Fussels my characters in
- 47:52Speaker 3: the book. It looks slightly different from how I say
- 47:55Speaker 3: jaw them, but it's all good. And you know what,
- 48:01Speaker 3: you can actually purchase the book on Amazon. She published
- 48:04Speaker 3: these books. They're Enkindle and they're on Amazon called The
- 48:09Speaker 3: Lost Dreamers by and Inspired Wife as the author. That's
- 48:15Speaker 3: how she listed herself on this because she wants to
- 48:18Speaker 3: encourage me to write more books. So beloved, my childhood
- 48:25Speaker 3: characters are coming back. They have been resurrected. My step
- 48:31Speaker 3: mom destroyed them, but my wife brought them back. And
- 48:39Speaker 3: I am speechless. I don't know what to say, and
- 48:45Speaker 3: so I want to encourage. I'm gonna promote. I'm gonna
- 48:47Speaker 3: put these books on our app in the buy and
- 48:50Speaker 3: sell section, but right now you can look it up
- 48:53Speaker 3: on Amazon, The Lost Dreamers by an Inspired Wife. I'm
- 48:58Speaker 3: going to share the on social media and all my groups,
- 49:02Speaker 3: but you are the first ones to get the exclusive
- 49:07Speaker 3: information and you know the story behind it. And my
- 49:10Speaker 3: family don't even know. I'm gonna contact my sisters and
- 49:13Speaker 3: my brothers, my cousins because they all knew. Once they
- 49:17Speaker 3: see this, they're gonna know what this is about. But
- 49:21Speaker 3: these are my characters from my childhood. So bab, I'm speechless.
- 49:29Speaker 4: I love you.
- 49:32Speaker 3: This is more than amazing, all right, And with that,
- 49:45Speaker 3: we want to let you know that His hob Nation
- 49:47Speaker 3: is a nonprofit organization we are a five O one
- 49:52Speaker 3: CED three. We're looking to relaunch. We open club His Hop.
- 49:57Speaker 3: We open up a Christian club. Back in twenty twelve,
- 50:01Speaker 3: we were able to operate for six and a half
- 50:04Speaker 3: almost seven years faithfully doing Christian hipot concerts in our community,
- 50:10Speaker 3: impacting our community. And we believe that God is not
- 50:14Speaker 3: done with us and with this vision. But we just
- 50:17Speaker 3: need support from the Body of Christ. We need support
- 50:20Speaker 3: from our brothers and sisters from our community. If you
- 50:24Speaker 3: see value in this and if you know having a
- 50:27Speaker 3: spot for youth and young adults to hear positive godly music,
- 50:33Speaker 3: we would ask it to support us. Pray for us
- 50:36Speaker 3: first of all, and support us by donating. Your monetary
- 50:42Speaker 3: support is needed. You could be a monthly donor, you
- 50:47Speaker 3: could be a sponsor. You can let us know about
- 50:52Speaker 3: certain grants that would fit our organization, our nonprofit organization.
- 50:57Speaker 3: If you're a grant writer writer and you like to
- 51:00Speaker 3: volunteer some time write some grants for us, even if
- 51:05Speaker 3: you wouldn't like to get paid, you know we can
- 51:09Speaker 3: work that out as well. For writing grants and helping
- 51:14Speaker 3: us get the funding we need. We so appreciate you
- 51:19Speaker 3: and the good thing is that you can write it
- 51:22Speaker 3: off on your taxes. Your support is not in vain.
- 51:28Speaker 3: You're sewing into good ground, and it's a tax write
- 51:32Speaker 3: out for you at the end of the year if
- 51:34Speaker 3: you're looking for more deductions. If you know anything about that,
- 51:39Speaker 3: tax write offs can be the difference between owing or
- 51:42Speaker 3: getting money back from your taxes. All right with that,
- 51:52Speaker 3: belove it. That is my time. This was an emotional
- 51:56Speaker 3: episode for me, but I had to put my wife
- 51:59Speaker 3: on the spot. We got some closing comments, some application,
- 52:05Speaker 3: and we're gonna close out in prayer. Jeremiah seven, verse
- 52:10Speaker 3: twenty through twenty seven teaches us that God desires obedience
- 52:15Speaker 3: more than religious rituals. Following our own hearts leads us
- 52:22Speaker 3: away from God. Following the evil dictates of our own hearts.
- 52:28Speaker 3: You not put too much trust in your own heart, beloved,
- 52:31Speaker 3: it will lead us astray. We need to trust in
- 52:36Speaker 3: God's word. We knew our hearts now. God repeatedly extended
- 52:43Speaker 3: mercy and opportunities to repent. God gave warning after warning.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Spiritual stubbornness leads to decline. We start exciting and drifting
- 53:01Speaker 3: away from God. If we remained stubborn spiritually and not
- 53:07Speaker 3: take heed to his warnings. Faithfulness matters even when people
- 53:12Speaker 3: refuse to listen. Ay Man, I'm willing to do Club
- 53:16Speaker 3: His Hop until the wills fall off, even if one
- 53:22Speaker 3: person comes to our events. It's not about the results.
- 53:27Speaker 3: It's about being faithful. The fact that there was a witness,
- 53:32Speaker 3: that there was an opportunity to get right, And every
- 53:38Speaker 3: time we do Club His Hop, we give that opportunity. Amen.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Every time we produce a podcast, there's an opportunity for
- 53:47Speaker 3: people to get right. Amen. And God's word remains true
- 53:54Speaker 3: regardless of public opinion, even though they rejected Jeremiah and
- 54:00Speaker 3: his preaching and his warnings, even though they didn't respond
- 54:03Speaker 3: to it. The city, and I said I was gonna
- 54:07Speaker 3: reference this earlier in the podcast, the city was burnt completely.
- 54:15Speaker 3: They burnt the grass, the animals, the buildings, the trees.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Why would God severely judge the nation like that? Why
- 54:23Speaker 3: would everything be burned? As we said earlier, sin affects
- 54:29Speaker 3: every area. But the point I wanted to make is
- 54:33Speaker 3: I did a little deeper study on this fact. And
- 54:37Speaker 3: there's some videos out there that of archaeologists who were
- 54:44Speaker 3: searching out the scripture and during their digging, they were
- 54:53Speaker 3: looking for a devastation. Right, if God's words says that
- 54:56Speaker 3: this city was burnt, there should be evidence. They layers
- 55:00Speaker 3: of ashes as they dug up the city, and that
- 55:06Speaker 3: is proof that God his word will come to past.
- 55:14Speaker 3: And I did you know, I just wanted to get
- 55:16Speaker 3: a little further in it. And so there's some YouTube
- 55:18Speaker 3: videos you can look at excavating Jerusalem. You know, the
- 55:25Speaker 3: destruction of the city by Nebukinezar Babylon, how they burnt
- 55:31Speaker 3: the city, and there's evidence today. God is not to
- 55:36Speaker 3: be trifled with. Beloved, his word will come to pass.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for your patience, and
- 55:50Speaker 3: we thank you for your mercy. Help us listen when
- 55:54Speaker 3: you speak. Lord, teach us to obey your voice and
- 55:58Speaker 3: trust your words above our own feelings, above the dictates
- 56:04Speaker 3: of our own hearts. Lord, give us hearts that desire
- 56:09Speaker 3: relationship over religion. Oh God, help us remain faithful to
- 56:14Speaker 3: your calling. Help us Lord to and graft the word
- 56:21Speaker 3: for the ing. Grafted word is able to save our souls.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Oh God, give us the mind of Christ as we
- 56:31Speaker 3: seek you and pursue you each and every day. Guy
- 56:37Speaker 3: says in Jesus' name, Amen, Remember it's not about us,
- 56:44Speaker 3: It's all about the Christ and us. God bless.
- 56:55Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 56:58Speaker 5: is the His hop rating your show
