- 0:00Every thought, every idea, every imagination, every focus
- 0:07represents electrical impulses that are formed and projected
- 0:12into the general mental atmosphere, whether expressed
- 0:16verbally or in writing, or simply formulated in one's mind.
- 0:22Each such formation is either weaker or stronger, depending on
- 0:26its development in the mind and whether and to what extent it is
- 0:31linked to the will or the emotions to provide it
- 0:35additional impetus. Once it is formulated, it goes
- 0:40out into the world and either begins to dissipate and disperse
- 0:44if it is not strongly projected, or else it begins to make itself
- 0:49felt in the mental atmosphere, where it can gain further
- 0:52strength through joining with similar thought forms or be
- 0:57weakened through interaction with conflicting thought forms.
- 1:02This process can be generally compared to the formation of
- 1:05major storms in the weather pattern of the world.
- 1:08Major cyclones, also known variously as hurricanes or
- 1:13typhoons, form in generally warm waters in one of the oceans of
- 1:17the world. Depending on the atmospheric
- 1:20flow and pattern of warm and cold air and humidity present,
- 1:25the storm will strengthen. It moves across the ocean
- 1:29similar to a thought form, going out into the mental atmosphere
- 1:34where it meets with changing conditions of ocean temperature.
- 1:38Air temperature inversion of. Cool air over warm air, the cool
- 1:43air attempting to descend, the warm air attempting to rise, and
- 1:47the flow of the atmospheric winds which either support the
- 1:51storm building up strength or with wind shear, will begin to
- 1:56tear apart the formation, dissipating the storm's energy.
- 2:02Much of this interplay runs through our minds and we are
- 2:05constantly bombarded with thoughts of all sorts that
- 2:08distract us and continually shift our focus so that it is
- 2:13difficult to achieve anything of note or value.
- 2:17Because this tends to occur automatically and even
- 2:21unconsciously. We just let this play of forces
- 2:24take place in our minds unless we develop a form of discipline
- 2:29to observe the thoughts, to quiet the mind, and to train our
- 2:33ability to keep a specific focus without distraction.
- 2:39The mother notes quote. And now to come down to a more
- 2:44ordinary level. Everyone has in him, in a
- 2:48greater or lesser measure, the power to give form to his mental
- 2:52activity and use this form either in his ordinary activity
- 2:57or to create and realize something.
- 3:00We are all the time always creating images, creating forms.
- 3:06We send them into the atmosphere without even knowing that we are
- 3:09doing so. They go roaming about, pass from
- 3:12one person to another, meet companions, sometimes join
- 3:17together and get. On Happily.
- 3:19Sometimes. Create conflicts and there.
- 3:21Are battles for often very often in these?
- 3:27Mental imaginations. There is a small element of will
- 3:30which tries to. Realize itself and then everyone
- 3:34tries to send out his formation. So that it can act so that.
- 3:38Things can happen as he. Wants and.
- 3:42As everyone does this, it creates a general confusion if
- 3:47our eyes were open to the vision.
- 3:49Of all these forms. In the atmosphere.
- 3:52We would. See very amazing things,
- 3:54battlefields, waves, onsets, retreats of a crowd of small
- 4:01mental entities which are constantly thrown out.
- 4:04Into the air. And always try to realize
- 4:07themselves all these formations. Have a.
- 4:10Common tendency. To want to materialize.
- 4:14And realize themselves physically.
- 4:16And as. They are countless.
- 4:19They are far too many for there to be room enough on earth to
- 4:23manifest them. They jostle and elbow one
- 4:26another. They try to push back those
- 4:29which do not agree with them or even form armies in good order,
- 4:34always to take up the available room.
- 4:37Both in. Time and space.
- 4:40It is only a very small space compared with the countless
- 4:45number of creations. So individually, this is what
- 4:50happens. Some people do all that without
- 4:53knowing it, perhaps everybody, and they are constantly tossed
- 4:58from one thing to another and hope, wish, desire, are
- 5:03disappointed, sometimes happy, sometimes in despair, for they
- 5:08don't have any control or mastery over these things.
- 5:13But the beginning of wisdom is to look at ourselves, thinking,
- 5:17and to see this phenomenon, become aware of this constant
- 5:22projection into the atmosphere of small living entities which
- 5:27are trying to manifest. All this comes out of the mental
- 5:31atmosphere which we carry within ourselves.
- 5:35Once we see and observe, we can begin to sort them out, that is
- 5:41to push back what is not in conformity with our highest will
- 5:45or aspiration and allowed to move towards manifestation, only
- 5:50the formations which can help us to progress and develop.
- 5:55Normally this is the control of active thought, and that was
- 6:01what I meant the other day. End Quote reference Srioro Bindo
