- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody a Welcome to Game debut Patrick claybound here with
- 0:14Speaker 2: Greg Rosenthalt and Cynthia Freeland getting ready for Week nine
- 0:17Speaker 2: of the NFL season. So much fun football left to play,
- 0:21Speaker 2: and all of it very consequential for the playoffs.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I will never take for granted a Josh Allen, Patrick
- 0:26Speaker 3: Mahomes week.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Let's go absolutely not.
- 0:29Speaker 5: I mean we're going to We're gonna get this matchup
- 0:32Speaker 5: for a while now, and we're very lucky every single
- 0:34Speaker 5: time we get it.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's the opposite of a horror film in
- 0:37Speaker 2: that aspect because we get to enjoy it. If you're
- 0:40Speaker 2: like me and you're living in a personal horror film
- 0:42Speaker 2: where it's like the killer just keeps coming. It's Cynthia
- 0:45Speaker 2: Freeland who's won for three straight weeks, ten or more games,
- 0:49Speaker 2: get no, well, Cynthia, Yes.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Everybody's behind Michael Meyer, but.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Just unstoppable and now.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Since like Halloween six, her and her model just coming
- 1:00Speaker 3: to get us every single Year's ridiculous.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So yes, dual crowns. Cynthia and I are Todd. Let's
- 1:06Speaker 2: discuss some ball. The Bills in Chiefs met up in
- 1:10Speaker 2: last year's AFC Championship game. Won a matchup. It was
- 1:15Speaker 2: down three with two minutes ago before the Bob Josh
- 1:17Speaker 2: Allen's pass for Dalton kin Kaid fell incomplete. On the
- 1:20Speaker 2: next drive, Mahomes hit samaj p Ron for seventeen yards
- 1:24Speaker 2: to run out the clock. Casey won it thirty two
- 1:26Speaker 2: to twenty nine on their way to Super Bowl fifty nine.
- 1:30Speaker 2: If you want to discuss these two head to head
- 1:32Speaker 2: in the playoffs, you can kind of see how much
- 1:35Speaker 2: of a farce the whole QB win idea is because
- 1:38Speaker 2: Josh Allen has done a whole lot, a whole lot
- 1:41Speaker 2: to beat Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. For what it's worth,
- 1:44Speaker 2: Josh Allen has been the starting quarterback in four regular
- 1:47Speaker 2: season games against the Chiefs team that started Patrick Mahomes
- 1:51Speaker 2: and won. So the teams face off Sunday in Buffalo.
- 1:55Speaker 2: The game could have huge tiebreaker consequences in the playoffs.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Who wins it?
- 2:00Speaker 3: I like the Chiefs this week, which would break a
- 2:03Speaker 3: trend in terms of Patrick Mahomes struggling against Sean McDermott
- 2:06Speaker 3: and the Bills defense in the regular season. But this
- 2:09Speaker 3: is the same regular season Patrick Mahomes from the last
- 2:11Speaker 3: couple of years. This is back to twenty nineteen when
- 2:13Speaker 3: he was just lighting up the league, holding onto the
- 2:16Speaker 3: ball and making big time plays.
- 2:17Speaker 6: Thirty one to twenty eight.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I think it's a high scoring game because Mahomes has
- 2:20Speaker 3: been holding the ball just a little bit late, longer
- 2:23Speaker 3: and trying to make big plays.
- 2:25Speaker 6: We saw it a week ago.
- 2:27Speaker 3: So yeah, his time to throw this season has actually
- 2:30Speaker 3: been the lowest in the league, and he's facing pressure
- 2:33Speaker 3: the lowest amount, and he has so much confidence now
- 2:36Speaker 3: in his offensive line that you're seeing some of these
- 2:39Speaker 3: great Mahomes eam plays where he does hold onto the
- 2:42Speaker 3: ball a little bit longer and it's absolutely working. So
- 2:46Speaker 3: when he gets rid of the ball quickly, it's working.
- 2:48Speaker 3: And when he's trying to make extra plays, it's working.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I think they have the better offense, and I always
- 2:52Speaker 3: pick the offense.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he's also running to an extent better than a
- 2:56Speaker 2: lot of quarterbacks in the league. Right now, I've got
- 2:58Speaker 2: the Kansas City Chiefs winning by two twenty six to
- 3:01Speaker 2: twenty four, because it feels like there are more complete
- 3:03Speaker 2: team Buffalo, not only having problems on defense, but also
- 3:05Speaker 2: dealing with big injuries on defense as well. But one
- 3:09Speaker 2: part of the Chiefs offense that you can nitpick is
- 3:12Speaker 2: the ability for not Patrick Mahomes to run the ball.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But they are good when they need to be in
- 3:17Speaker 2: certain scenarios. Kareem Hunt has a one hundred percent success
- 3:20Speaker 2: rate on goal hide carries this season. On third and short,
- 3:24Speaker 2: Kareem Hunt's success rate is seventy five percent. So with
- 3:27Speaker 2: Isaiah Pacheko out, yes, the run game perhaps loses some
- 3:30Speaker 2: explosive this, but gains it back in consistency. I think
- 3:33Speaker 2: he's key to what Kansas City wins.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Cynthia, well, you know, I agree with everything both of
- 3:38Speaker 5: you just say said, and I would probably think the
- 3:42Speaker 5: Chiefs certainly do. But my model went rogue and picked
- 3:44Speaker 5: the Bills twenty six to twenty five a little bit.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yep, I know, prime number. I don't know whatever me
- 3:49Speaker 4: and the model.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Are fighting, but ultimately I looked into it, and the
- 3:52Speaker 5: way that the O line has been playing for the
- 3:54Speaker 5: Bills is the reason that my model has picked them
- 3:57Speaker 5: to win this game. Why Well, to start with, they're
- 4:00Speaker 5: allowing so many yards before contact to their running back
- 4:03Speaker 5: James Cook, that's huge, two hundred and sixty nine. He
- 4:05Speaker 5: actually has the most in the league and they played
- 4:07Speaker 5: one fewer game than many teams. And then when it
- 4:09Speaker 5: comes to Josh Allen and figuring out the different ways
- 4:11Speaker 5: to keep him just enough covered, just enough protected, just
- 4:16Speaker 5: enough to be able to do some things that in
- 4:18Speaker 5: some regards he has no business doing with some of
- 4:21Speaker 5: the kind of you know, the pass characters maybe aren't
- 4:24Speaker 5: the strongest.
- 4:24Speaker 4: In the league. How do I say that better than that?
- 4:25Speaker 5: But ultimately Josh Allen's making masterful things happen, And in
- 4:29Speaker 5: large part it's because he has such a great O line.
- 4:31Speaker 2: All right, and Cynthy has a great model, which is
- 4:33Speaker 2: why she's back in top at the picks. We'll see,
- 4:37Speaker 2: we'll see if that's super.
- 4:38Speaker 6: The prime number is ten and four listen, which, if you.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Think about it, means Patrick and I are four and
- 4:42Speaker 3: ten when we.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Go up against you.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I'm gonna be honest, I just was like, what, okay, whatever.
- 4:48Speaker 2: It's time for get more with Gico Cynthia. Who's more
- 4:51Speaker 2: likely to have three or more total touchdowns passing and rushing?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen both.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Oh oh, Okay, am I only allowed to pick one?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Well, you gotta pick one, Okay.
- 4:59Speaker 5: If I'm gonna pick one, I just have a higher
- 5:01Speaker 5: probability of Josh Allen having a rushing touchdown, So I
- 5:04Speaker 5: picked him here so I could talk about that rushing
- 5:06Speaker 5: touchdown because I love Josh Allen to have a rushing touchdown.
- 5:09Speaker 5: So we're not in write that down yet, but you
- 5:10Speaker 5: can write it down. Josh Allen will also have a rushing.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Touchdown, right I think both of them have at least
- 5:14Speaker 4: three total touchdowns.
- 5:15Speaker 2: A bonus problem from Cynthia Friedland there as the Chiefs
- 5:18Speaker 2: and the Bills, Yes are Juggernauts, but the hottest offense
- 5:21Speaker 2: in the league right now belongs to the Indianapolis Colts.
- 5:25Speaker 7: Shotgun stat for Jones hooking left, He's going to take
- 5:28Speaker 7: a shot.
- 5:28Speaker 2: In throns a laser towards the pylon and that is
- 5:31Speaker 2: a catch for.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Michael Pittman Junior.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Pittman stanned it in with one hand on a twenty
- 5:37Speaker 7: one yard apptolute dark throned by Dangle Jones, Mike colp
- 5:41Speaker 7: Pittman Junior.
- 5:43Speaker 2: The high flying Colts heading to Pittsburgh to take on
- 5:45Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers. I'm taking the better offense here,
- 5:48Speaker 2: thirty one to twenty five because Daniel Jones is dealing
- 5:51Speaker 2: right now dimes. His only face pressures this season ninety
- 5:55Speaker 2: three times, but forty five percent of those have been
- 5:57Speaker 2: quick pressures. How's he done when pressured? Five touchdowns, zero interceptions.
- 6:01Speaker 2: He's got seven games with a passer rating over one hundred.
- 6:04Speaker 2: If he does it again this week, he'll tie two
- 6:07Speaker 2: thousand and seven Brady and twenty eleven Rogers. Both those
- 6:10Speaker 2: guys won MVPs, one of them won a Super Bowl.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Because you know, we only celebrate when you can win
- 6:15Speaker 2: every single game but lose the last one and all
- 6:17Speaker 2: of a sudden, you know it's not worth remembering. But yeah,
- 6:20Speaker 2: both of those offenses very good. I've got the Colts
- 6:22Speaker 2: winning here, Cynthia.
- 6:23Speaker 5: I have the Colts winning as well, but by just
- 6:25Speaker 5: two points, twenty seven to twenty five. I think picking
- 6:27Speaker 5: the Steelers will be a very trendy pick this week. However,
- 6:30Speaker 5: I think the Colts win this one. I want to
- 6:32Speaker 5: give some love to Josh Downs because we kind of
- 6:34Speaker 5: talk about Michael Pittman.
- 6:36Speaker 4: We definitely talk about Tyler Warren.
- 6:37Speaker 5: I don't know if anyone's talked about Jonathan Taylor more
- 6:40Speaker 5: than us, but ultimately Josh Downs has now quietly emerged
- 6:44Speaker 5: as this guy who's running some really interesting routes and
- 6:46Speaker 5: finding himself with tons of space to work with. And
- 6:49Speaker 5: it's interesting to see another wrinkle involve being added to
- 6:52Speaker 5: this offense that's already averaging thirty three point eight points
- 6:55Speaker 5: per game. So Josh Downs, go pick him up in
- 6:57Speaker 5: fantasy if you don't already have him.
- 6:58Speaker 4: But I think this is a great game for him,
- 7:00Speaker 4: a great opportunity for him to maybe end up in
- 7:02Speaker 4: the end zone again this week.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I love me some Josh Downs. And you said it'd
- 7:06Speaker 3: be a trendy pick. Take the Steelers. Well, I am
- 7:09Speaker 3: nothing if not off trend. So you have it like
- 7:12Speaker 3: a two point margin. I think it's ten for the Colts.
- 7:14Speaker 3: It's it's a huge mismatch because when the Colts have
- 7:17Speaker 3: the ball, Yes, me must away Steelers fans. The Steelers
- 7:21Speaker 3: defense has been awful this year, and yes, it's partly
- 7:24Speaker 3: because the expectations were higher.
- 7:27Speaker 6: They are the most.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Expensive defense in the entire NFL, and you know what
- 7:31Speaker 3: they've done. They've given up the most points through seven
- 7:34Speaker 3: weeks of any Steelers defense in the Mike Tomlin era.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Forget about the steel curtain.
- 7:39Speaker 3: This is like the steel bedsheet just flapping in the
- 7:43Speaker 3: wind and soggy.
- 7:44Speaker 6: It won't even get dry. It's it's just gross.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I think they are one of the most static defenses
- 7:51Speaker 3: in terms of predictability, and they're going up against one
- 7:54Speaker 3: of the most dynamic offenses.
- 7:56Speaker 6: Mismatch Shane Steiken versus Mike Tomlin Here.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Check the foundery. The porosity on that steel is very
- 8:01Speaker 2: high there. Yes, we're all on the Colts against the Steelers.
- 8:06Speaker 2: If the playoffs started today one that would be weird.
- 8:09Speaker 2: But two of the Colts will be the number one
- 8:10Speaker 2: seed in the AFC and the Steelers will be the four.
- 8:13Speaker 2: The third seed will be the Broncos, who may have
- 8:16Speaker 2: unlocked a new secret weapon last week. Toss is it
- 8:20Speaker 2: left side? This is Harvey Harvey is a big run.
- 8:22Speaker 2: R J.
- 8:23Speaker 7: Harvey's loose the touchdown the rookie RJ Harvey forty yard.
- 8:28Speaker 2: House call, shotgun snapped r J. Harvey Harvey and the
- 8:31Speaker 2: wildcatch takes it off right guard and he's got a
- 8:33Speaker 2: second touchdown of the game. The versaal RJ. Harvey Harvey
- 8:38Speaker 2: in the flat wide open, Harvey gathers it in tiptoes
- 8:41Speaker 2: at the end zone, touchdown Denver and for RJ. Harvey
- 8:45Speaker 2: that is his third touchdown the Broncos and the Texans.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Dennriver on a five game winning streak. Nico Collins trending
- 8:54Speaker 2: towards playing for Houston. Is that enough to make the
- 8:56Speaker 2: model believe?
- 8:57Speaker 5: Cynthia No, I think this will be another trendy pick
- 9:00Speaker 5: to pick Houston this week. But I have a two
- 9:02Speaker 5: point win for the Broncos twenty one to nineteen. Why again,
- 9:06Speaker 5: we go back to O lines. You just watched that RJ.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Harvey film, Go back and watch it again, but watch
- 9:11Speaker 5: the O lineman created all of the Quinn miners and
- 9:15Speaker 5: that belly of his, which is my favorite thing about him.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I love how he you know, in.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Practice, he lifts up his shirt and he gets a
- 9:21Speaker 5: tan on that belly. It's very It's fun when you
- 9:24Speaker 5: go watch training camp. Patrick and I were there ahead
- 9:26Speaker 5: of the season, But I love watching this O line function.
- 9:29Speaker 5: In large part we've seen bo Nick's throw just a
- 9:32Speaker 5: ton of screen passes this season.
- 9:34Speaker 4: That's been their formula so far.
- 9:36Speaker 5: But he doesn't really have to. He's had a lot
- 9:38Speaker 5: more time behind the line of scrimmage. Perhaps that means
- 9:41Speaker 5: we will start to see some of the longer stuff develop.
- 9:43Speaker 4: We saw it last week.
- 9:44Speaker 5: A bit against the Cowcas that doesn't really count though
- 9:47Speaker 5: I don't necessarily think, but I think this is a
- 9:49Speaker 5: good O line, and to me, in this defensive matchup,
- 9:52Speaker 5: O lines are the dictator of who wins this one,
- 9:55Speaker 5: and by far and away, the better O line in
- 9:57Speaker 5: this game, Denver Broncos.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going with the Denver Broncos as well by
- 10:00Speaker 2: a small margin because you mentioned the screen game for
- 10:03Speaker 2: the Broncos. I think it needs to be in play
- 10:05Speaker 2: because you have to account for one of the better
- 10:08Speaker 2: edge defenders in the NFL right now, in Will Anderson Junior.
- 10:11Speaker 2: So it's a nineteen eighteen win here by one point
- 10:15Speaker 2: in my pick. Because Will Anderson has been so good.
- 10:18Speaker 2: He's got a twenty point eight percent pressure rate, number
- 10:21Speaker 2: two in the league among edge defenders. He's also top
- 10:24Speaker 2: four in run stuffs among edge defenders. There's only so
- 10:27Speaker 2: much scheme can do. I think he's going to make
- 10:29Speaker 2: a play, Greg, He's going to cause some problems for
- 10:32Speaker 2: the offense, but the offense for the Texans is enough
- 10:35Speaker 2: of a problem that they don't win the game.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Okay, this is where I know I'm on the right
- 10:38Speaker 6: side of this.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Just Greg that you're talking about the Texans defense when
- 10:41Speaker 3: you're not even picking them, it's just trag nation.
- 10:44Speaker 6: We're back. I changed the pick to the Texans.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I just wanted to give all the just Greg nations
- 10:50Speaker 3: something to root for here early in the show, and
- 10:53Speaker 3: it's cause bo Nicks. He struggles against pressure. Of all
- 10:56Speaker 3: the starting quarterbacks in the entire NFL, only two have
- 11:01Speaker 3: a lower yards per attempt when under pressure this year
- 11:05Speaker 3: than bow Knicks four point one yards per attempt when
- 11:07Speaker 3: he's under pressure. So yes, he's not pressured very often.
- 11:10Speaker 3: But when you play the Texans and Will Anderson, you're
- 11:13Speaker 3: gonna get pressured. You know, the two quarterbacks that actually
- 11:16Speaker 3: have a lower yard to attempt, who are they?
- 11:18Speaker 6: Jake Browning and Russell Wilson.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Now I'm not saying bow Nicks is gonna get bench,
- 11:23Speaker 3: but the only two.
- 11:24Speaker 6: Quarterbacks have been worse under pressure, they have gotten bench.
- 11:27Speaker 3: So let's go Texans, Dar and Chared let him turn
- 11:30Speaker 3: the season around. They've given up the fewest points of
- 11:32Speaker 3: any defense in the league. Let's go get a win
- 11:35Speaker 3: for me, for.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Greg, for a Hall of jes If you are not
- 11:38Speaker 2: motivated by everything else doing for Greg, It's time for
- 11:42Speaker 2: Who's Eating Good? Presented by Applebee's. Well CJ. Stroud dicing
- 11:46Speaker 2: up the Niners defense last week, Cynthia, will he pass
- 11:50Speaker 2: for more than two hundred and twenty two yards against
- 11:52Speaker 2: the Broncos?
- 11:53Speaker 6: He will not.
- 11:53Speaker 5: You talked about that pressure rate, Well, no one has
- 11:56Speaker 5: a higher pressure rate than the Broncos, and nobody has
- 11:58Speaker 5: more sacks than the Broncos.
- 12:00Speaker 4: They have thirty six, which is.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Ten more than the next closest teamjds O line not
- 12:06Speaker 5: really been doing him a ton of favors in this one,
- 12:08Speaker 5: so I'm feeling pretty strong about that. And you talked
- 12:11Speaker 5: about only rushing with four. You know who has the
- 12:13Speaker 5: highest pressure rate when rushing four?
- 12:15Speaker 6: Fancy Bronco.
- 12:16Speaker 5: The fancy Bronco picks. Oh yeah, the fancy Bronco picks.
- 12:19Speaker 4: That's right.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Who's Eating Good? Presented by Applebee's Serving those who serve
- 12:24Speaker 2: us All veterans and active military duty eat free at
- 12:27Speaker 2: Applebee's this Veterans Day on Tuesday, November eleventh, Dying in Only.
- 12:32Speaker 2: We're just getting started here, on game debut. Up next
- 12:35Speaker 2: Jared Goffin. The high flying lines are fresh off the
- 12:38Speaker 2: by they got JJ McCarthy and the Vikings coming to town.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Does Cynthia's squad need to be on Upsettler? Are picks
- 12:45Speaker 2: coming up next? On game deview, there's the snap gets
- 12:58Speaker 2: it to me?
- 12:59Speaker 6: Or open the left side up the hash still fighting
- 13:01Speaker 6: at the one?
- 13:02Speaker 7: Did he get in this way? Read touchdown Detroit Lions?
- 13:07Speaker 7: Shamir with a p from this defensive line. He's dead
- 13:11Speaker 7: and the Lions are three scores on Can you smell it?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Detroit? Yes?
- 13:15Speaker 7: We think did you smell it?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Smell skoo? That was Jamir Gibbs scoring his fourth touchdown
- 13:22Speaker 2: as the Lions clinched the division last year against the Vikings.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Time for season season presented by Caesar Sportsbook. The first
- 13:29Speaker 2: touchdown score odds according to our friends and Caesars are all.
- 13:33Speaker 6: I didn't wear Honolulu blue.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Greg looked at me and just shook his hands. I
- 13:38Speaker 4: didn't do it.
- 13:39Speaker 6: What disrespect?
- 13:40Speaker 4: I'm not Caesar's Let's.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Beam away on this, Bears fans or Vikings fans.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Let's like, well, I'm sure some Bears fans will probably
- 13:48Speaker 2: have some thoughts on that as well. Let's dive into
- 13:50Speaker 2: the matchup. The Lions coming off their by while the
- 13:52Speaker 2: Vikings are getting JJ McCarthy back. Does JJ McCarthy turn
- 13:55Speaker 2: things back around for Minnesota here.
- 13:57Speaker 6: Greg, Yes and no.
- 13:58Speaker 3: He allows Vikings fans to feel optimistic because their young
- 14:02Speaker 3: quarterback takes a step forward and at least keeps them
- 14:05Speaker 3: closer than those eight and a half points. I think
- 14:07Speaker 3: it's a good game. It's a game the Vikings need
- 14:09Speaker 3: to win. Why don't we go back to Week one
- 14:11Speaker 3: and see some of the positive moments from yes NFC
- 14:15Speaker 3: Offensive Player of the Week Award winner JJ McCarthy. It's
- 14:19Speaker 3: been a dark six weeks and a lot's gone wrong
- 14:22Speaker 3: with the Vikings defensively on the offensive line, and I
- 14:26Speaker 3: think just a lot has been put on JJ McCarthy's
- 14:28Speaker 3: soldiers that hasn't been entirely unfair. They struggled in that
- 14:31Speaker 3: Week two game against Atlanta. I think it was the
- 14:34Speaker 3: game plan. He didn't practice on Friday because he had
- 14:37Speaker 3: a baby. I just think this is a time to
- 14:39Speaker 3: establish JJ McCarthy as the quarterback of the future. It's
- 14:42Speaker 3: a tough matchup, so I'm not going to pick him
- 14:43Speaker 3: to win, but I do think it'll be a close,
- 14:45Speaker 3: competitive game where people feel a little better that, hey,
- 14:48Speaker 3: JJ McCarthy is a promising young quarterback for the future.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I kind of agree.
- 14:52Speaker 5: I have an eight point win, which is a little
- 14:53Speaker 5: less than eight and a half. I have twenty eight
- 14:55Speaker 5: to twenty.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Yeah, we ry.
- 14:59Speaker 6: We love the wild roarer there from Cynthia.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I'm not the roarer though anyway, And I'm first some
- 15:04Speaker 5: Caesars first and m killer.
- 15:06Speaker 4: There's a lot going on here today.
- 15:07Speaker 5: But when I'm looking at the opportunity for Jared Goff
- 15:11Speaker 5: to stay doing so well against the Blitz like he
- 15:13Speaker 5: has done like a one thirty seven point seven passer,
- 15:15Speaker 5: and you know why, because the run game works so
- 15:17Speaker 5: darn well both of these guys, as in Jamiir Gibbs,
- 15:21Speaker 5: who clearly loves to score touchdowns against the Vikings.
- 15:23Speaker 4: It's kind of his thing.
- 15:24Speaker 5: He does it a lot, and I mean like twice
- 15:27Speaker 5: a game for the last few games. But ultimately to
- 15:30Speaker 5: David Montgomery as well, it's a good opportunity to kind
- 15:33Speaker 5: of look at where the interior o line has come,
- 15:36Speaker 5: how far they've come this season. This will be a
- 15:38Speaker 5: good opportunity to test it because you know, Brian Flores
- 15:41Speaker 5: is not going to want to allow them to run
- 15:43Speaker 5: in the middle of that line. But I just think
- 15:45Speaker 5: that now we've started to see this O line really
- 15:47Speaker 5: come together with the changes in the middle, thus allowing
- 15:50Speaker 5: both of these running.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Backs to get into the end zone.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And it's something that we've seen through the most of
- 15:54Speaker 2: this Dan Campbell era with Jared Goff and David Montgomery,
- 15:57Speaker 2: Jamiir Gibbs and i'm Mon Ross Saint Brown. The offense
- 16:00Speaker 2: is so good. I will take them to win by
- 16:02Speaker 2: more than the number. I've got A ten point went
- 16:04Speaker 2: twenty eight to eighteen. Mimus away Vikings fans because eighteen.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I think they get some late points, which is tough
- 16:12Speaker 2: to do early on in the game, because they got
- 16:14Speaker 2: something going on in the secondary. Shout out to the
- 16:16Speaker 2: Legion of Whom, Guys like Nick Whiteside, who was targeted
- 16:20Speaker 2: six times by Baker Mayfield, gave up one catch, Arthur
- 16:23Speaker 2: malt was making plays in the run game and in
- 16:25Speaker 2: the past game Thomas Weep the team played great with
- 16:28Speaker 2: injuries as well as the suspension. Now Brian branches back.
- 16:32Speaker 2: If things do go left for JJ McCarthy, like Greg said,
- 16:35Speaker 2: please contextualize it with what the Lions defense has done
- 16:39Speaker 2: to other quarterbacks and let JJ McCarthy be a guy
- 16:42Speaker 2: who's starting for the first time in the NFL, still
- 16:46Speaker 2: very young, like it's gonna be fine. Chill out just
- 16:49Speaker 2: a bit. Sees the season. Brought to you by Caesar

- 17:03Speaker 8: It is second and for the Bears from the Ravens three.
- 17:07Speaker 8: Caleb Williams in the shotgun takes the snap looking to
- 17:10Speaker 8: the left, slings it complete, but at the two yard
- 17:14Speaker 8: line on market to the one quickly to the line,
- 17:17Speaker 8: Caleb Williams quarterback.
- 17:18Speaker 9: Sneak He's not gonna get there. The Ravens stop him
- 17:21Speaker 9: shy of the goal line. It's fourth down. Williams takes
- 17:25Speaker 9: the snap, wants to throw fires to the back of
- 17:28Speaker 9: the end zone in complete. No Dj Moore wide o't
- 17:33Speaker 9: and it's all handshakes now.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Miscommunication there at the end because Caleb saw something different
- 17:39Speaker 2: than DJ Moore did, by the way, but still is
- 17:41Speaker 2: a rough ending for the Bears. Last week in Baltimore.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Now they got the Bengals, who might be without Joe Flacco,
- 17:47Speaker 2: got an ac joint spring. What do you see taking
- 17:50Speaker 2: place in Okay?
- 17:50Speaker 5: So my score is assuming that we get Joe Flato,
- 17:54Speaker 5: got it all right?
- 17:55Speaker 6: Got it?
- 17:55Speaker 4: It's still Chicago winning.
- 17:56Speaker 5: But it would be Chicago winning more convincingly should it
- 17:59Speaker 5: be Jake Browning. But I have twenty five to twenty
- 18:00Speaker 5: four a one point win. Joe Flacco is that valuable.
- 18:05Speaker 5: I'm looking at the opportunity here. We need to see
- 18:08Speaker 5: something with Realmo Dunze as in. I believe he's going
- 18:10Speaker 5: to have a big game, but I want to.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Actually see it take place.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Why because I've seen him become like stepping into the
- 18:17Speaker 5: Aman rat Saint Brown role. But now the defenses, and
- 18:20Speaker 5: even though this defense has a lot of question marks,
- 18:23Speaker 5: a lot of things I don't understand, a lot of
- 18:26Speaker 5: things that don't make a lot of sense. But what
- 18:29Speaker 5: I'm saying is he needs to show up big.
- 18:31Speaker 4: In this spot where he's forecasts to show up.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Big, and a lot of that will be on Caleb
- 18:34Speaker 5: Williams to make the right reads.
- 18:36Speaker 4: It'll be on the right play line. All things that
- 18:38Speaker 4: I think can happen.
- 18:39Speaker 5: So I think Romo Dunze this could be that moment
- 18:41Speaker 5: where we say, okay, that like we're really seeing him
- 18:44Speaker 5: like get into that next level, that next echelon of
- 18:47Speaker 5: wide receiver.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he will. I have the Chicago Bears
- 18:50Speaker 2: win as well. Twenty five to nineteen, Cynthia was talking
- 18:53Speaker 2: about them maybe not living up the expectations against the
- 18:56Speaker 2: defense in Baltimore that was probably better than the numbers
- 18:59Speaker 2: that they had season long. The Cincinnati Bengals defense might
- 19:03Speaker 2: actually be worse now than their season long numbers, and
- 19:06Speaker 2: that's saying something. They have to go up against a
- 19:07Speaker 2: very explosive running game. DeAndre Switch has been really good
- 19:11Speaker 2: as the Bears have been great on the ground. After
- 19:14Speaker 2: the bye, they're playing the Bengals, who have hit running
- 19:17Speaker 2: backs behind the line of scrimmage at the lowest rate
- 19:20Speaker 2: in the league. The Bears are top three in the
- 19:22Speaker 2: league at keeping running backs from being hit in the
- 19:25Speaker 2: backfield behind the line of scrimmage and number one since
- 19:28Speaker 2: the bye. This is a rough mismatch. I've got the
- 19:30Speaker 2: Bears running all over them.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I love that you point out the mismatch in the
- 19:34Speaker 3: running game because I think it's the same In the
- 19:35Speaker 3: passing game, the Bengals get no pass rush. Trey Hendrickson
- 19:39Speaker 3: is not one hundred percent. Jamar Stewart, their number one
- 19:41Speaker 3: pick does not have a QB hit all season. I
- 19:43Speaker 3: think it's a blowout in terms of the Bears winning
- 19:46Speaker 3: this game because of that bad Bengals defense. I don't
- 19:49Speaker 3: think people have really wrapped their minds around what happened
- 19:52Speaker 3: last week in Cincinnati. This was a let's pack it up,
- 19:55Speaker 3: the season is over type of defensive performance by the
- 19:59Speaker 3: Cincinnati Bengals.
- 20:00Speaker 6: The Jets hadn't scored a touchdown in two weeks.
- 20:03Speaker 3: They literally hadn't scored it in two weeks, and so
- 20:06Speaker 3: many plays in this game, you didn't even see the
- 20:08Speaker 3: Bengals linebackers on the field, Like where are they?
- 20:11Speaker 6: It's these two rookies Demetrius.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Knight and Barrett Carter and they're just not ready to
- 20:16Speaker 3: go ultimately, and they're not being coach well. And I
- 20:18Speaker 3: look at Ben Johnson, who is once the assistant for
- 20:21Speaker 3: Zach Taylor, but I think he's a much better coach
- 20:23Speaker 3: and I think he's gonna pick on this Bengals.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Do we have to say it yet again? Maybe Lou
- 20:27Speaker 5: an Arumo wasn't the problem.
- 20:29Speaker 6: He was not the bigger problems.
- 20:31Speaker 2: We're gonna keep saying it till significant problems over there. Also,
- 20:34Speaker 2: the Jets catch as straight as we're discussing that game, Hey,
- 20:38Speaker 2: it gets better. Jets fans, don't sleep on Sam Darnold
- 20:40Speaker 2: and the Seahawks. The NFC West leaders have a big

- 21:34Speaker 2: against Washington's defense that's among the worst in the entire NFL.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Let's discuss more Seahawks commanders Washington hoping to have Jayden
- 21:42Speaker 2: Daniels back, but he will be without Scary Terry on
- 21:46Speaker 2: the weekend of Halloween. So it's unfortunate because he's such
- 21:48Speaker 2: a big part of what they do.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Cynthia, Yeah, and that drove a difference in my score. Actually,
- 21:53Speaker 5: it was twenty five to twenty two in favor of Seattle.
- 21:55Speaker 5: Now it's twenty six twenty two in favor of Seattle.
- 21:59Speaker 5: Why don't we talk about Jackson Smith and Jigba even more?
- 22:02Speaker 5: Why don't we talk about Sam darn even more until
- 22:05Speaker 5: their names start getting mentioned amongst the duos like the
- 22:08Speaker 5: Puka Nukuas and Matthew Staffords. The guys are absolutely the
- 22:12Speaker 5: top of leak because their stats are showing that what
- 22:15Speaker 5: Jackson Smith and Jigua has been able to do when
- 22:18Speaker 5: defenses are absolutely aware that he is the primary target
- 22:22Speaker 5: that Sam Darnold is looking for, has been pretty epic.
- 22:25Speaker 5: I love watching his route running, I love watching him
- 22:28Speaker 5: just shake off defenders his work on the perimeter. It's
- 22:31Speaker 5: been really fun to see him take this pretty massive
- 22:34Speaker 5: step forward now that he's the feature guy, so I mean,
- 22:37Speaker 5: I expect to see a lot more of that because
- 22:38Speaker 5: in this situation, the Commander's defense they very vulnerable to
- 22:43Speaker 5: the kind of stuff that JSN does, So I expect
- 22:45Speaker 5: a big game from him and a big game for
- 22:47Speaker 5: both of them.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I like that you change the score so it's to
- 22:49Speaker 3: four because now we're on the same side. Because this
- 22:52Speaker 3: is one of my favorite picks of the week. That's
- 22:53Speaker 3: why I took it on NFL Daily. Yeah, that's making
- 22:55Speaker 3: our picks. I think the Seahawks double up on the
- 22:58Speaker 3: Commanders double up. I think it's twenty six to thirteen.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I think the Seahawks could be the very best team
- 23:02Speaker 3: in the NFL, and the Commanders are struggling right now,
- 23:05Speaker 3: and they're struggling to protect whoever's that quarterback.
- 23:07Speaker 6: It's gonna be Jade Daniels this week.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Lararemy Tunzel might not be out there, and they're playing
- 23:12Speaker 3: one of the best pass rushes in the league. They
- 23:15Speaker 3: have the fourth highest pressure rate, which is really impressive,
- 23:18Speaker 3: and you think, okay, they must be sending a lot
- 23:19Speaker 3: of heat. No, they are the thirty first in terms
- 23:22Speaker 3: of blitz rate, so only one team sends heat extra
- 23:26Speaker 3: defenders more than the Seahawks, and yet they get home.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Whether it's Leonard Williams or Boy Mafi, it's not just
- 23:31Speaker 3: one guy that you can pick on. They have such
- 23:34Speaker 3: a deep group of pass rushers and so you don't
- 23:37Speaker 3: know who to double team. But they get home, and
- 23:39Speaker 3: I think Jane Daniels will struggle because of it.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we're are unanimous on this. Mimus Away Commander's fans.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Twenty five to eighteen is my predicted score. And yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 2: Greg talked about a lot of the talent upfront on
- 23:51Speaker 2: the defense. Let's go on the back sock where they
- 23:53Speaker 2: get a whole lot of contributions from young guys like
- 23:55Speaker 2: the rookie safety guy who's playing slot corner at six
- 23:59Speaker 2: three and twenty pounds out of South Carolina, Nick e
- 24:02Speaker 2: man Worri. He played ninety two percent of the up
- 24:04Speaker 2: against the Texans. He was in coverage, He had poor
- 24:06Speaker 2: pass rush snaps, He had thirteen run defensive snaps. The
- 24:09Speaker 2: completion percentage when CJ. Strouds hearted him was twenty five percent.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Just one piece of a defense and a team. As
- 24:16Speaker 2: Greg pointed out, that's got talent all over the place. Yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 2: let's talk more about the Seattle Seahawks, their offense and
- 24:23Speaker 2: defensive players. We'll get them in every conversation.
- 24:26Speaker 5: I ill good that they've been as of right now.
- 24:27Speaker 5: I reran all my models for the playoffs. I have
- 24:29Speaker 5: them winning the division. I understand rams fans would be
- 24:32Speaker 5: like what, but no, I have the Seahawks winning the
- 24:34Speaker 5: division right now.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a tight division. We'll see how things go.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Speaking of their opponent, they watching the Commanders. The NFL

- 25:08Speaker 2: on game debut. We'll start with the forty nine Ers
- 25:10Speaker 2: and the Giants, both teams coming off of losses. Who
- 25:13Speaker 2: gets into the wind Collinson.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Oh Sticking with the NFC West theme, I have San
- 25:17Speaker 5: Francisco winning this one twenty four to twenty one. Until
- 25:21Speaker 5: the Giants can figure out a way to stop outside rushes.
- 25:23Speaker 4: From being so effective. I'm just going to.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Keep talking about that as the key to beating them.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Why because if you're looking at any metric when it
- 25:30Speaker 5: comes to this explosive runs, rushing yards, rushing yards, overexpected
- 25:34Speaker 5: probability of expected points at all of these things, you
- 25:37Speaker 5: know what happens.
- 25:38Speaker 4: They're just like getting absolutely dashed.
- 25:41Speaker 5: And this is a team that runs to the outside
- 25:44Speaker 5: about fifty seven percent of the time. Christian McAffrey understand
- 25:46Speaker 5: didn't have a ton of production last week. That doesn't
- 25:49Speaker 5: matter if he's gonna make for a bit make up
- 25:51Speaker 5: for it this week on outside rushes.
- 25:53Speaker 2: All right, we are all aboard the forty nine ers.
- 25:55Speaker 2: There are the Falcons and the Patriots Atlanta hoping to
- 25:57Speaker 2: have Michael Pennings junior back. New England has won five straight.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Do they make it six in a row? Brick?
- 26:02Speaker 6: I think they do.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be close than the number indicates.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I have the Patriots winning twenty three to twenty one.
- 26:08Speaker 3: But which second year quarterbacking, and I have trust it's
- 26:10Speaker 3: Drake May In these deep passes that he's completing week
- 26:14Speaker 3: after week. You look at some of the numbers he's
- 26:16Speaker 3: put up and compare him to the Tom Brady MVP
- 26:19Speaker 3: seasons and like they are better for Drake May early.
- 26:22Speaker 6: In the season.
- 26:23Speaker 3: The numbers downfield are a little outrageous. You're seeing the
- 26:26Speaker 3: throws to Kayshawn Booty. That connection, in particular on deep
- 26:30Speaker 3: throws has the highest pass rating of any tandem quarterback
- 26:34Speaker 3: to wide receiver in the league.
- 26:35Speaker 6: So stop saying he doesn't have great receivers.
- 26:37Speaker 3: He's got Kaishan Booty and it's making it happen week
- 26:41Speaker 3: after week. I think it's gonna be Booty over aj Terrell.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Let's say late in this game, all.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Right, we've got the Patriots keeping that streak going, the
- 26:49Speaker 2: Falcons losing two in a row. Let's go to the
- 26:50Speaker 2: Panthers and the Packers Green they lit up the Steelers
- 26:53Speaker 2: last week. I think they keep it rolling here against
- 26:55Speaker 2: that Panthers run defense. They win at twenty seven to seventeen.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Because the last time we saw the Panthers run defense,
- 27:01Speaker 2: yeah it was James Cook in the great Buffalo Bills
- 27:03Speaker 2: offensive line, but he had a generational day on the ground.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Way over two hundred yards on nineteen carries. The Bills
- 27:09Speaker 2: run game is good, so is the Packers. I feel
- 27:11Speaker 2: like it's a little bit closer than thirteen and a half.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Hopefully Bryce Young is back at quarterback for the Carolina
- 27:17Speaker 2: Panthers and that helps. There's going to be more opportunity
- 27:20Speaker 2: for Rico Dawdell as Dave Canals has said that, yeah,
- 27:22Speaker 2: Rico's going to get more of the running opportunities, keeps
- 27:25Speaker 2: it closer to thirteen and a half. But we're all
- 27:28Speaker 2: on the Green Bay Packers still to come here the
- 27:31Speaker 2: game of the year, the Chase and the Bills Sunday
- 27:33Speaker 2: in Orchard Park, Mahomes versus Allen's teams, respectively, So you
- 27:37Speaker 2: know that there's going to be plenty of fireworks. We're
- 27:39Speaker 2: talking player drops for this monster matchup coming up next
- 27:43Speaker 2: on game debut.
- 27:53Speaker 9: I'll watch every other quarterback run of the tunnel and they
- 27:55Speaker 9: just run out like this, and then I get up
- 27:57Speaker 9: come out.
- 27:58Speaker 6: I'm like, what love you all, boys?
- 28:02Speaker 9: Huh big big dome so finishers game. Kelse back in
- 28:12Speaker 9: the Jo touchdown, he just does what he wants in
- 28:16Speaker 9: the craziest bars.
- 28:16Speaker 6: I know he was gonna do it. I was like,
- 28:17Speaker 6: they ain't running the corner. Love y'all boys, here we go.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Time for more or less seer on Game day View
- 28:26Speaker 2: the Chiefs and Bill's squaring off Sunday in Buffalo. We
- 28:28Speaker 2: can't wait for this one. A lot of star power,
- 28:30Speaker 2: so let's talk some player props. Cynthia will start with
- 28:33Speaker 2: you more or less than two hundred and ninety five
- 28:35Speaker 2: passing yards for one.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Patrick mahomes well less, not because I don't think this
- 28:40Speaker 5: is going to be a good game, but unlike Greg,
- 28:43Speaker 5: who thinks is gonna be a very high scoring game,
- 28:44Speaker 5: I actually think that it will be a lower scoring
- 28:46Speaker 5: game than projected.
- 28:48Speaker 4: So I just think it's gonna be fewer than that.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Again, I like three touchdowns or more for each quarterback
- 28:52Speaker 5: in this one, though, just feery yards, few arts.
- 28:54Speaker 2: So let's go to Greg Josh Allen. Yeah, I'm more
- 28:58Speaker 2: than one passing touchdown in the game.
- 28:59Speaker 6: We're going, what are we talking about? Low scoring?
- 29:02Speaker 3: These are two of the greatest quarterbacks in the history
- 29:04Speaker 3: of the game, at the peak of their powers, and like, oh,
- 29:07Speaker 3: I'm not afraid.
- 29:08Speaker 4: I didn't say low scoring. I said lower than expected.
- 29:11Speaker 3: I'm saying high scoring, higher than expected, higher touchdowns and
- 29:16Speaker 3: thiose fans have been having a little bit of a
- 29:18Speaker 3: conversation lately.
- 29:19Speaker 6: Is Josh Allen, you know, playing quite as well as
- 29:22Speaker 6: he's played the last few years.
- 29:23Speaker 3: I think he just needs a big game like this
- 29:25Speaker 3: to feel truly alive inside, and he's gonna play great,
- 29:30Speaker 3: summon the.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Energy from Josh Allen, who has heard in the sound
- 29:34Speaker 2: before we got to this telling folks that he was
- 29:37Speaker 2: too big. Yes, too big, also too big to deal with.
- 29:40Speaker 2: On the defensive side, is Rashie Rice higher or lower
- 29:44Speaker 2: than seventy receiving yards, folks, I'm going more. I'm going higher.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Here's why, because they're playing the Buffalo Bill's defense where
- 29:52Speaker 2: they kind of struggled in yards after catch, yards after contact,
- 29:57Speaker 2: yards after carry the most explosive threat with the ball
- 30:00Speaker 2: in his hands for the Chiefs, it's actually Rashia Rice,
- 30:03Speaker 2: and I think that we're going to see it in
- 30:06Speaker 2: this one. So more on that one. Back to Cynthia.
- 30:09Speaker 2: James Cook got a monster game last week. Now we
- 30:11Speaker 2: just needed to get significantly less than two hundred nineteen
- 30:14Speaker 2: yards seventy five rushing yards higher or lower and more
- 30:16Speaker 2: or less.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Oh, I like your new little like this thing that
- 30:19Speaker 4: you did here.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Oh likes it?
- 30:21Speaker 5: Yeah, well you'd have to go down for whatever. I'm
- 30:23Speaker 5: not going down.
- 30:23Speaker 4: We're going to go more for that one.
- 30:25Speaker 5: I already told you that the key for the Bills
- 30:28Speaker 5: in this matchup is to get the run game going
- 30:30Speaker 5: and be consistent with it. So I think seventy six
- 30:32Speaker 5: yards is very achievable. It's not two hundred and sixty
- 30:36Speaker 5: five or whatever it is last game, just kidding his
- 30:38Speaker 5: two fifteen, but it's not. It doesn't need to be
- 30:41Speaker 5: that high. I think eighty yards would do it.
- 30:43Speaker 3: You know what keeps me up at night now, But
- 30:45Speaker 3: she's going to get a prime number on us, Like,
- 30:47Speaker 3: how does that happen?
- 30:48Speaker 6: She took the Bills, we took the Chiefs.
- 30:50Speaker 3: It is the running game, because how have the Bills
- 30:53Speaker 3: won all these regular season matchups? For instance, It's because
- 30:55Speaker 3: their offensive line has overwhelmed Kansas City on the ground.
- 30:59Speaker 6: You know who's got the.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Exact same offensive line year after year, more talent, more
- 31:03Speaker 3: continuity than anyone.
- 31:04Speaker 6: It's the Buffalo Bills. So I could see this happening.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Okay, I still go about Spags in company over there
- 31:10Speaker 2: stopping the run to the extent that they might need to.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Travis Kelcey found the end zone last week more or
- 31:15Speaker 2: less greg than half a touchdow.
- 31:18Speaker 6: Oh it's more.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I mean Travis Kelcey and Patrick Mahomes are nothing if
- 31:23Speaker 3: not you know, guys who have a flair for the dramatic.
- 31:26Speaker 3: They know this is going to be the most watched
- 31:28Speaker 3: game of the season. They know Travis Kelcey can become
- 31:31Speaker 3: the all time leader in touchdowns in Kansas City Chief's history.
- 31:36Speaker 3: What better matchup to do it than against the rival Buffalo.
- 31:40Speaker 6: Bills against a group of safeties.
- 31:42Speaker 3: If we just want to talk x's and o's who
- 31:44Speaker 3: haven't been too great this year. I mean, Travis Kelcey
- 31:47Speaker 3: is marrying one of the master marketers of the world.
- 31:50Speaker 3: This is his chance to stamp himself even greater on
- 31:54Speaker 3: the national stage that he's somehow already is.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Yes, people will know who Travis Kelsey is.
- 31:58Speaker 3: I'm just saying, do you want to do it this
- 32:00Speaker 3: week or do you want to do it at like
- 32:02Speaker 3: one pm against the Titans.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Let's do with this, I mean one pm.
- 32:06Speaker 5: They are playing at one pm, so I guess it's
- 32:08Speaker 5: four o'clock then one o'clock out here. But yeah, I
- 32:11Speaker 5: think he also catches five passes. Now who goes in
- 32:13Speaker 5: the end zone for the Chiefs? To me, that's like,
- 32:16Speaker 5: you know, you could you could like roll a dice
- 32:18Speaker 5: and figure that out, because Patrick Mahlmes is dealing and
- 32:20Speaker 5: kind of dealing to everyone. But I think he has
- 32:22Speaker 5: at least five catches. I feel pretty strongly about that.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Okay, we'll have a one more opportunity to feel strongly.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Khalil Shakir fifty receiving yards. It's more. I think it's
- 32:33Speaker 2: more because I think it has to be. I'm not
- 32:35Speaker 2: gonna get him the scorefest territory like Greg here, because
- 32:39Speaker 2: I think that both of these teams have sustained drives
- 32:42Speaker 2: and if the Bills are going to score a few points,
- 32:45Speaker 2: which I think they will, it has to be more
- 32:47Speaker 2: than fifty receiving yards for Khalil Shakir because his run
- 32:50Speaker 2: after the catch opportunity is great and while the Chiefs
- 32:52Speaker 2: defense does not allow that same type of rep Khalil
- 32:57Speaker 2: Shakier is still pretty good player. I think he gets it.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Sees Pagnolo is so good because he somehow coaches up
- 33:02Speaker 3: this secondary even though you haven't heard of these guys
- 33:05Speaker 3: to be better than they. And there's been one guy
- 33:07Speaker 3: who's been very quiet this year in terms of quietly effective,
- 33:10Speaker 3: Shamari Connor. But a year ago at this time and
- 33:12Speaker 3: in this match that they picked on him, and they
- 33:14Speaker 3: picked on him in the slot with Shakir So I
- 33:16Speaker 3: like that matchup rightly.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Fifty yards too, so yards after the catch will be
- 33:19Speaker 5: big in that one.
- 33:20Speaker 2: No surprise, the game is expected to be one of
- 33:22Speaker 2: the highest scoring matchups of the week. Check out the rest.
- 33:26Speaker 2: The Dallas Cowboys defense once again featured in the highest
- 33:29Speaker 2: total fifty three and a half total points, then the
- 33:31Speaker 2: Chiefs and the Bills, the Bears and Bengals, Colt Steelers,
- 33:33Speaker 2: the forty nine Ers, and the Giants all the highest
- 33:37Speaker 2: totals of Week nine. Time for What's Ahead, presented by
- 33:41Speaker 2: Credit One Bank. The Cowboys and Cardinals Monday Night, again
- 33:44Speaker 2: expecting to be the highest scoring game of the week,
- 33:46Speaker 2: Arizona hoping to have Kyler Murray back. Which team wins? Here, Cynthia, you.
- 33:51Speaker 6: Know what what's up?
- 33:51Speaker 5: I have Dallas winning this one by one point twenty
- 33:54Speaker 5: seven to twenty six. I this is a very interesting
- 33:58Speaker 5: defense to try to figure out, because it's like, can
- 34:00Speaker 5: you hold someone off, and because there's more rushing project
- 34:04Speaker 5: did for the Cardinals.
- 34:05Speaker 4: That's what drives the score for me.
- 34:06Speaker 5: And also George Pickens's ability to be that number two ish,
- 34:10Speaker 5: number one ish guy depending on what's asked of him
- 34:12Speaker 5: in a situation.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Just stay away from Buddha Baker.
- 34:15Speaker 5: But I'm watching George Pickens in these tight window situations
- 34:18Speaker 5: and it is it is pretty fun to see. He
- 34:20Speaker 5: also has the longest neck of anyone I've ever seen,
- 34:22Speaker 5: which I really appreciate for some very weird reason. But ultimately,
- 34:26Speaker 5: I think his sure handedness and his ability to navigate
- 34:29Speaker 5: some of the traffic because I don't think the Cardinals
- 34:31Speaker 5: defense gets enough love for who they are in terms
- 34:34Speaker 5: of the secondary when they're healthy, et cetera. But we
- 34:37Speaker 5: love Buddha Baker.
- 34:37Speaker 4: On the show.
- 34:38Speaker 5: So I'm gonna say his name at least one more
- 34:39Speaker 5: time Buddha Baker is on their on the defensive.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Stay away from Buddha.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Great necks in NFL history, We'd be like a great
- 34:45Speaker 3: NFL Films episode. Martin Hankers shout out to Mike. Mike,
- 34:50Speaker 3: we were all thinking it.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Yeah, obligating Gerd Pickens right up there. I'm also obligated
- 34:55Speaker 2: to point out Cynthia and I have the same exactly
- 34:57Speaker 2: twenty seven to twenty six, and so much of that
- 35:00Speaker 2: is because not just how I feel about the Dallas
- 35:02Speaker 2: Cowboys defense, but what they have showed in twenty twenty five.
- 35:06Speaker 2: They struggled in the run game, they struggled against screens,
- 35:09Speaker 2: but the place that's been the worst has been deep passing.
- 35:12Speaker 2: On attempts over ten air yards, They've allowed a one
- 35:15Speaker 2: hundred and thirty two passer rating and fourteen yards per attempt,
- 35:18Speaker 2: better in both of those categories than Dat Prescott's deep passing.
- 35:22Speaker 2: As good as Dat Prescott has been in twenty twenty five,
- 35:26Speaker 2: the Cowboys defense has been even worse. I've got a
- 35:31Speaker 2: still a solid win, but I just wanted to talk
- 35:33Speaker 2: about that defense, correct now.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I mean, once again, you're just talking trash on the
- 35:37Speaker 3: team that you picked. Yeah, and I once again I'm
- 35:39Speaker 3: going to take the pick against that that trashy defense.
- 35:43Speaker 6: Let's go Cardinals. Let's just greg it up.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I feel great about this because of my eye test,
- 35:48Speaker 3: the way the Cardinals have played in recent weeks, and
- 35:50Speaker 3: then also because Kyler Murray is in the building, even
- 35:53Speaker 3: if he's not the starting quarterback. He is eight and
- 35:56Speaker 3: oh at Jerry World at and T Stadium. Patrick Clayband
- 36:00Speaker 3: earlier this week said the consensus greatest high school player
- 36:04Speaker 3: in Texas history.
- 36:06Speaker 6: The best high school football state.
- 36:08Speaker 3: There is until maybe California. We're taking the crowd now.
- 36:11Speaker 3: So five and zero in high school, two and zero
- 36:14Speaker 3: in college, and one of those is Jermaine to this
- 36:17Speaker 3: week where he actually wasn't the starter, but he came
- 36:19Speaker 3: in as a backup on A and M and just
- 36:21Speaker 3: ran the ball a little bit.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Maybe they'll use.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Him in a pack package if it's Jacoby Brissett. So
- 36:25Speaker 3: here he is lighting up in high school. He did
- 36:28Speaker 3: it as a pro for the Cardinals. And if you
- 36:30Speaker 3: think about the last two Cardinals game, they were down
- 36:32Speaker 3: to the last play against two of the best teams
- 36:34Speaker 3: in the league, the Packers and the Colts.
- 36:36Speaker 6: Think they played well in those games. Think they are
- 36:38Speaker 6: turning the corner.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Kyler burn forty two and oh as a starting quarterback
- 36:42Speaker 2: in high school, it's fun stuff. We come back. The
- 36:44Speaker 2: last time we saw Matthew Stafford, he was dicing up
- 36:47Speaker 2: the Jags for five touchdowns. The West is up for
- 36:50Speaker 2: grabs and Sean mcvay's squad has their eye on the prize.
- 36:53Speaker 2: We are previewing Saints against the Rams and the rest
- 36:57Speaker 2: of the Week nine slate on the way. On game
- 37:00Speaker 2: debut this Sunday, November second, you can get NFL Red
- 37:09Speaker 2: Zone from NFL Network for free. That's right, see every
- 37:12Speaker 2: touchdown from every game this Sunday afternoon for free. Go
- 37:16Speaker 2: to NFL dot com slash red Zone free preview and
- 37:19Speaker 2: check your local providers for pe takes time for quick
- 37:23Speaker 2: picks here on game debut the Chargers and Titans. The
- 37:26Speaker 2: Bolts put a feat down on the Vikings last week.
- 37:29Speaker 2: What happened Sunday in Nashville.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I think they put a beat down on them thirty
- 37:33Speaker 3: three to twenty one. But I do think the Titans
- 37:35Speaker 3: offense has been playing better of late. Ultimately, the Chargers
- 37:40Speaker 3: have too much when it comes to their offense. Justin
- 37:43Speaker 3: Herbert is the quote perfect quarterback. That's not according to me.
- 37:47Speaker 3: That's according to Titans defensive lineman Tovandre Sweat, who has
- 37:52Speaker 3: clearly been watching what Herbert has been doing. Scrambling this year,
- 37:56Speaker 3: he averaged more per carry on scrambles than any quarterback
- 38:00Speaker 3: in the league. It has been a very pointed coaching idea.
- 38:05Speaker 3: I think Herbert came into the season Saints, I'm going
- 38:08Speaker 3: to improvise more. He's also been making more plays, I think,
- 38:11Speaker 3: out of structure because he's needed to and this is
- 38:14Speaker 3: a game where he should be protected. While that Titans
- 38:16Speaker 3: defense has just really banged up with Jeffrey Simmons likely
- 38:20Speaker 3: out this week.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I'm glad the Chargers given a little bit healthier as
- 38:23Speaker 2: they have been playing some better football the Jags and
- 38:26Speaker 2: the Raiders in Vegas. Jacksonville has lost two in a row.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Do they write the ship here soon?
- 38:31Speaker 4: They do?
- 38:31Speaker 5: Twenty four to twenty a four point win in Las Vegas.
- 38:35Speaker 4: But I want to talk about brock Bauers.
- 38:36Speaker 5: Because he's been out and so we haven't been able
- 38:38Speaker 5: to talk about him, and him being back is a
- 38:41Speaker 5: big deal for an offense that's trying to score at
- 38:44Speaker 5: least double digit points in this one right like they're
- 38:46Speaker 5: averaging eight points that they need to kind of get
- 38:48Speaker 5: back on track well. Being able to use brock Bowers
- 38:51Speaker 5: in all of the different ways, even as you know,
- 38:53Speaker 5: on the field, to block to all the things that
- 38:55Speaker 5: brock Bauers is so good at. It will be a
- 38:58Speaker 5: difference maker. That's why you see I have twenty points
- 39:00Speaker 5: for Vegas in this one.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Jacoby Myers also expected to return, and hopefully that means
- 39:04Speaker 3: they can just be a little more aggressive. The last
- 39:08Speaker 3: couple of Raiders games, it honestly felt like they were
- 39:10Speaker 3: trying to run out the clock on themselves, Like, just
- 39:13Speaker 3: get to the bye week.
- 39:14Speaker 5: And don't forget Tyler Lockett reunion with Geno Smith. You
- 39:17Speaker 5: know we love a little little Seattle days firing it
- 39:20Speaker 5: up down South.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Yeah, positive vibes to come back into a team that,
- 39:25Speaker 2: hopefully because having Gino play safety ball where they're worried
- 39:28Speaker 2: about turning the ball over, that's not Geno's game. Let
- 39:31Speaker 2: it rip, coach Kelly, Let's go to the Saints and
- 39:33Speaker 2: the Rams. Rookie Tyler Shuck will get the first start
- 39:37Speaker 2: for the New Orleans Saints. The Saints haven't had a
- 39:39Speaker 2: rookie quarterback win in forever. First last time it happened
- 39:42Speaker 2: was actually against the Rams. But I think the ramling
- 39:45Speaker 2: is successful here they win it twenty six to six.
- 39:48Speaker 6: Oh my goodness.
- 39:49Speaker 2: On the virtue is that an absurd sport?
- 39:52Speaker 6: Points? It's tough?
- 39:53Speaker 2: Well, it's a very good pass rush against the quarterback
- 39:57Speaker 2: making his first start, and on the other side, Kyen
- 39:59Speaker 2: Williams has been good. In fact, the best Kiren Williams
- 40:02Speaker 2: game was the best Rams win right there in sofar
- 40:05Speaker 2: stadium all not just that play sequence of plays where
- 40:09Speaker 2: average five point nine yards per carry against the Indianapolis Colts.
- 40:13Speaker 2: I like the Rams. We all like the Rams in
- 40:15Speaker 2: this matchup, and Greg has them getting one more touchdown
- 40:19Speaker 2: than I do.
- 40:19Speaker 6: I mean that's significant.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I just I don't want that for Tyler Shuck his
- 40:23Speaker 3: first NFL start. I think the real mismatch is Sean
- 40:26Speaker 3: McVay against his former defensive coordinator Brandon Staley.
- 40:31Speaker 6: He knows all the tricks to the stay defense.
- 40:34Speaker 2: And Brandon Staley knows a lot about southern California, so
- 40:38Speaker 2: he's gonna be for pared, knows where the locker room is. Yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 2: it's time to write this down here on game debut
- 40:44Speaker 2: as we get some prop predictions for Week nine. Greg Rosenthal,
- 40:48Speaker 2: why don't you start all right?
- 40:49Speaker 3: I'm on a hot streak too, straight write this down victories.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Although well behind Patrick who's been on fire all season
- 40:54Speaker 3: with peas, I'm going with the Seahawks team total. It
- 40:57Speaker 3: worked for the Packers. I feel very strongly not only
- 40:59Speaker 3: about the Seahawks winning, but they're oftense scoring more than
- 41:02Speaker 3: twenty six and a half points against this Commander's defense,
- 41:06Speaker 3: which is both predictable, a little slow, and just doesn't
- 41:10Speaker 3: have a good pass rush. And this is against one
- 41:12Speaker 3: of the best deep passing teams in the entire NFL.
- 41:15Speaker 3: So if you want to work an alternate line into
- 41:18Speaker 3: the mix, I wouldn't.
- 41:18Speaker 6: Be opposed to that either.
- 41:20Speaker 3: But I really feel good about the Seahawks going over
- 41:22Speaker 3: twenty six and a half points by alternate line.
- 41:25Speaker 6: I mean the Seahawks winning by more than a touchdown.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Whoop, Okay, spicy.
- 41:29Speaker 5: I'm gonna keep mine a little bit simpler because I
- 41:31Speaker 5: want to get it right. Justin Jefferson to have more
- 41:34Speaker 5: than seventy three and a half receiving yards against the Lions.
- 41:37Speaker 5: You know what is average against the Lions is in ten.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Games one point eight. WHOA do you know.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Who has more yards in a game against any opponent
- 41:45Speaker 5: intent that they face ten times or more than him?
- 41:47Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 41:47Speaker 5: No one, that's the answer, No one. I get the
- 41:50Speaker 5: legion of whom is great. I also like that the
- 41:52Speaker 5: grammar is correct on that too, not the Legion of who,
- 41:54Speaker 5: the Legion of whom, and that's perfect, but justin Jefferson
- 41:58Speaker 5: at least seventy four receiving yards.
- 42:00Speaker 2: I will take a simple one as well, because I'm
- 42:04Speaker 2: trying to pick out the defense. I picked out the
- 42:06Speaker 2: defense with the Dallas Cowboys and fortunately that was right.
- 42:10Speaker 2: I'm six and three on right fist downs on the season.
- 42:13Speaker 2: That's something I can celebrate. Travis Ytn is gonna have
- 42:16Speaker 2: over fifty nine rushing yards against the Las Vegas Raiders
- 42:19Speaker 2: because the Raiders run defense hasn't necessarily been great and
- 42:22Speaker 2: Travis Etn has been pretty good at the start of
- 42:24Speaker 2: the season. Hopefully after the buye and to break after
- 42:27Speaker 2: the beat down in London, the Jacks will be better.
- 42:30Speaker 2: We appreciate you guys spending time with us here and
- 42:32Speaker 2: watching game debut. Enjoy all of the games. For Greg
- 42:35Speaker 2: Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland. I'm Patrick clayboun We'll see you
- 42:38Speaker 2: next week. Have a great week nine everybody.
