- Craig: Holy crap, Batman, we have made it. The NFL season is kicking off tonight. The New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks a Super Bowl matchup. We are previewing that game and every other game on the NFL slate this weekend right now. Well, welcome back to the kitchen here on Fat Daddy Sports. I am your host, Craig. Hey, I just want to take a quick second and thank you to everybody who has subscribed to the channel, who has hit that like button, dropped a comment, who has come along on this journey. I am truly grateful. It is absolutely mind blowing to me. I know that 50 subscribers does not seem like a lot to some channels. But to me, it's absolutely mind-blowing. ⁓ I think about 50 people gathering in a room to talk fantasy football, and that is really exciting stuff to me. So thank you to everybody that's come along. If you're new here, would love to have you along for the journey. Hit that subscribe button as we are still trying to hit our first 100 subscribers. Without further ado, let's jump into the matchups for this week one of the NFL season. Starting off tonight. With a Super Bowl rematch between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. A little bit different looks for both teams tonight. Some guys that are out, some new faces. But nonetheless, we will start with the New England side. Drake May, if you got him, you're starting him. Don't overthink it. He is obviously a very good talent. A tough matchup tonight in Seattle against what should be a very good Seattle ⁓ defense. Don't overthink it. Just start Drake May. Then you've got the running backs in New England, Ramondre Stevenson. You're gonna roll with him. He should have a ton of catches against that Seattle Blitz. Trevion Henderson has been just missing for months. So you're not starting him tonight. At the time of this recording, still hasn't been any official word, but gonna go ahead and say he's out since he hasn't practiced in what feels like four years. Really hope to get Trevion back out there. I've got him on quite a few teams, so I'm really hopeful that Henderson can get back out on the field. Obviously changes the dynamics of that offense. I still am not totally sold that he's ever, maybe in the near future, gonna be the one A there in New England. Love his talent, love the explosiveness. But I I I know that they love Ramondre Stevenson, especially in the pass blocking. So I think they're both gonna kind of be a thorn in each other's side throughout the year. But this week, without Henderson in there, Ramondre should be a very viable running back two for you. Going to the wide receivers, new wide receiver, AJ Brown, should be a smash play just about every week. I imagine they're gonna pepper him with some targets. They're gonna try to leak him out on a deep ball or two throughout this game. Could be a very tough matchup against Seattle, but if you got him, you're probably starting him or you are starting him because he's probably ⁓ a wide receiver two for you. Maybe you're wide receiver one. Gotta roll him out there. As far as another wide receiver for the Patriots, Romeo Dobbs. I'm not starting him if I've got him. You got him late in your draft if you do have him. So there's really no need to start him. And then Hunter Henry ⁓ quietly had a very solid season last year for the Patriots. And you can say that they didn't have a a stud wide receiver, but I mean Stephon Diggs was very, very good for them last year. They had some other guys that were very solid throughout the year. I think Hunter Henry will be right around that low end our or low end tight end one throughout the year. And I think tonight could be a good matchup. So I would go ahead and start him if you waited at the tight end position, picked up Hunter Henry late. Go ahead and start him tonight. On the other side of the football, the Seattle Seahawks, Sam Darnold at the quarterback. ⁓ if you have Sam Darnold as your quarterback, you're either playing in a two quarterback league or you waited at the quarterback position. Either way, if you don't have a better option, I think Sam Darnold is a fine play tonight. I'd go ahead and fire him up. Going to the running back ⁓ position for the Seahawks, a backfield that's been a lot of conversation around that backfield. And I'm gonna generally try to stay away from it tonight. Jadarian Price, who I think will be the RB one there. I just don't have the confidence in rolling him out there. And with where you got him in the draft, he's probably your RB three, ⁓ maybe even more than that. So I would go ahead and sit him tonight. Same thing with George Helani. You probably picked him up off of waivers or with a very late draft pick. So no need to start him. ⁓ and then at the wide receiver position, obviously you're starting JSN. You took him in the first round. Don't overthink it. You're starting him. Rashid Shaheed and Cooper Cup, you're gonna go ahead and sit those guys. Don't have a whole lot of confidence in them. And you didn't draft him high. So don't overthink it. AJ Barner. Who I think will be a fine tight end this year, somebody that I talked about in my last video as a guy to stash before the season started. I'm gonna go ahead and sit him tonight. Just ⁓ don't have enough evidence as to why we would start him. But that's kind of the theme here in week one is like you're you're starting your studs. It's kind of a boring video. You're starting your studs, you're not really taking a chance on anybody because you don't have any evidence. You maybe have a a gut feeling about somebody going off this year, but you don't have any hard facts that would point to starting those guys over your studs that you drafted. So really in week one, you're starting those guys that you drafted. And typically the way that the draft works, it fills out your starting lineup for you. Not a whole lot of changes, but you may have some questions about the flex position. And so that's, you know, this video is helpful for that. Going on to Thursday's game over in Australia, ⁓ which is actually Friday in Australia, if you haven't seen that Kyle Shanahan video of him describing what day of the week it is or what day he thinks it is It's pretty comical. For San Francisco, Brock Purdy, quarterback that you probably waited late at quarterback and snagged Brock Purdy with one of the later picks. If you've got him, go ahead and start him. If he's your second quarterback, obviously evaluate who your other quarterback is. But ⁓ I'm guessing if you have Brock Purdy, you waited at the quarterback position. So you're gonna roll him out. ⁓ Christian McCaffrey, obviously you're starting him. Calen Black, you are not gonna start him because Christian McCaffrey is the man. ⁓ over at the wide receiver position, keep an eye on the injuries, but all signs point to go for Mike Evans. If he's out there, you're starting him. He should score a lot of touchdowns this year. I don't know about the volume in a PPR format, but I still think he's gonna put up respectable numbers week in and week out, even without the touchdowns. ⁓ Dejaun Stribling, the exciting rookie prospect, a guy that I'm very high on, I think is going to have a big year. I just don't know about in week one. Haven't seen it in an NFL game. Obviously playing a very tough matchup against the Rams. I'm gonna hold off on Stribling for at least the first week. We'll see how game one goes, if they ease him in, if you know how many snaps he plays. There's just a lot of uncertainties there. So I'm staying away from Stribling in week one. Debo Samuel, kind of the same thing. what does he have left in the tank? What role are they gonna use him in? A lot of unknowns there for me for San Francisco. So I'm staying away from Debo in week one. At the tight end position, George Kittle looking like he's gonna play. Is he gonna play a limited amount of snaps? Is he gonna play only in the red zone? Is he gonna play the full game? I don't know. I'm not really sure. I think if he is active, you probably start him because if you have Kittle, you probably waited and tried to target him late and by the injury dip. If you the same thing with quarterbacks, if you have a better option, go ahead and roll them out. But if you waited and George Kittle's your only tight end and he's active, I guess you're probably okay starting him. I just wouldn't expect a whole lot. You know, you're praying for a touchdown there. If Kittle is inactive, I think Jake Tondris is a very viable play this week. I could see him getting in the end zone. I could see him having some high value targets. But again, you've got to watch and see what the news is on George Kittle if he's playing or not. Going over to what should be a very ⁓ exciting offensive matchup, and that's the New Orleans Saints and the Detroit Lions. Starting in New Orleans, Tyler Shook. If you have him, again, he was a late, late round quarterback. If you have him, he's probably your quarterback too. Or you waited at the quarterback position. So you have to evaluate that for your team. Better option, start them. If not, Tyler Shook should be a fine player in this matchup. Should be a lot of points back and forth. ⁓ at the running back position, Travis Achan almost at ETN. ⁓ go ahead and start him, smash the start button on him. I think he's gonna have a big year this year. ⁓ probably too low on him all offseason and in the draft process. I don't have any shares of him this year. And he's somebody that I was really in on last year before he blew up. You got him late in the drafts last year and he blew up this year, kind of one of those middle round guys. And I think he's gonna be a a big contributor to that Saints offense starting with this week against Detroit. Speaking of big contributors, Chris Olave. You're obviously starting him if you have him. Any of the other Saints wide receivers I'm holding off on, just a little too unproven for me. Don't know how the distribution's gonna go. Chris Olave is really the only wide receiver that I would start there. Juwan Johnson, I have as a start a fringe option just because I think that there's some reliability there. We've seen Juwan Johnson in a game before. We know what we can expect there. If you have him and you don't have a better option, I think Juwan Johnson's an okay. ⁓ bet this week. On the Detroit side of things, Jared Goff, same thing with ⁓ pretty much all these quarterbacks. I'm I'm gonna say it a hundred times, but if you got a better option, start him. If not, Goff's a fine choice. He should throw a a few touchdowns in this game. Jameer Gibbs, you're obviously starting. Amon Ra, you're obviously starting. Jamison Williams, ⁓ somebody that I think a lot of people were too low on this year. ⁓ coming into this year, he's kind of got that boom bust tag to him. But I think Detroit wants to use him in a lot of different ways that maybe they haven't in the past. I think JMO's gonna have a big year for the Lions, ⁓ be that number two pass catcher, be reliable and week in and week out safe floor for the Lions. Sam Laporta gotta keep an eye on that health. He's kind of been banged up, has that hip issue, should be good to go, but you never fully know until Sunday morning. Keep an eye on Laporta if he's healthy and ⁓ and he's not on any snap count or anything. Go ahead and fire him up. I want as many pieces of this offense in this game as I can get. Over to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus the Cincinnati Bengals, and we will start on the Tampa Bay side. We've got Baker Mayfield at the quarterback. We're gonna go ahead and fire him up. Contract year, big year for ⁓ Baker. I think he's gonna be throwing a lot of touchdowns this year. At the running back position, Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell. Just don't know how that split's gonna go. I lean more towards Bucky. So I I mean, if you've got Bucky and you don't have a better choice, go ahead and start him. But temper those expectations, if it were up to me, I'm sitting both of those guys. I think they're both going to be used in very ⁓ unique ways and they're gonna kind of cancel each other out all year long. I stayed away from this backfield entirely in all of my drafts. ⁓ over to the wide receiver position, you've got a Meka Ibuka. Looking like he's gonna be good to go with that toe issue. If he's out there, you've got to start him. You've probably drafted him as your wide receiver two, maybe even your wide receiver one. If he's out there, he's a full go for me. Chris Godwin, I've got him down as a start. I think I think that Godwin it has been slept on a lot this year. A lot of people are very excited about Omeka Abuka. Chris Godwin's somebody who over his career has really kind of been slept on and never really gotten the praise that he deserves. few years ago was having a phenomenal, phenomenal year before that big knee injury, knocked him out. And then last year he spent a lot of that year trying to come back from that. I think he's fully healthy from that now. And I think could be a v could be a very undervalued wide receiver who could make a big splash this year for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I'm gonna go ahead and start him in this matchup. Think he could have a big game in this one. And then over at the tight end position, Kate Otten. I am going to stay away from that one. Although with Abuka kind of banged up a little bit, Kate Otten could have a big game, but I don't think that you drafted him anywhere near high enough that you need to start him. So I'm going to go ahead and sit Kate Otten. On the Cincinnati side of things, Joe Burrow is an obvious start for me. Chase Brown is an obvious start. Samaj P. Ryan, I'm gonna go ahead and stay away from. I don't have him on this list, but ⁓ I don't see him eating into Chase Brown's workload enough for him to matter right now. Jamar Chase and T. Higgins obviously starts. Keep an eye on Jamar Chase's ⁓ knee issue, hyperextended it a few weeks ago. He's kind of been off to the side. T. Higgins also has been off to the side. Keep an eye on both those wide receivers, but they both should be good to go. Mike Gasicki, I'm gonna go ahead and sit him unless one of those wide receivers is out, and then I would fire up Mike Gasicki. Over to Baltimore versus Indianapolis. And starting on the Baltimore side, obviously Lamar Jackson is good to go. Derek Henry is good to go. Zay Flowers is good to go. Zay Flowers was banged up, missed some time with an undisclosed lower body issue. We don't really know what that was, but Back to practice, good to go. ⁓ Jacoby Lane. I just don't know what to expect there. A new offense, new offensive coordinator, big bodied perimeter outside receiver in his first game. I think Jacoby Lane's gonna have a good year or good year, good career, whatever, ⁓ for the Ravens. I just I'm a little worried about this first game. I think that this game could be a sneaky shootout and could come down to the last few possessions. I just don't know if Jacoby Lane is really gonna work into that very much. And then Mark Andrews, I also have as a sit. I just I don't know. I don't know what to expect. I don't know with Declan Doyle. They say they're looking for the big plays. I think they're gonna lean on Derrick Henry a lot. And I think on the flip side, the Colts are gonna try to lean on Jonathan Taylor. I think this is going to be a shootout, but it's gonna be kind of slow going to get to that shootout, get to the fourth quarter, and then let it all hang out there. I think Mark Andrews is probably lucky if he finds the end zone. And other than that, I don't find a whole lot of value in him in week one. On the Colts side of things, Daniel Jones gonna go ahead and sit him. I want to see him back from that injury first. Or I feel comfortable starting him as a ⁓ high end quarterback too. Jonathan Taylor is obviously a start. And then when you look at the wide receivers, and you've got Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, and Keenan Allen, I'm sitting all of them. Just I'm not sure where the targets are gonna go. I think that Pierce is gonna be the wide receiver one. I think that Josh Downs is gonna be more deep, deep threat, boom bust type of player. Alec Pierce is gonna be that a possession guy, guy that they get the ball to a lot. But really ultimately the only pass catcher I want any part of on this Colts offense right now is Tyler Warren. Gonna go ahead and fire him up obviously in week one. You drafted him high for a reason Trot him out there with confidence. Tyler Warren will be fine regardless of what the wide receiver situation there is. Going over to the Cleveland Browns versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, and there is a lot of sit in this matchup. I'll tell you that. Deshaun Watson, we are sitting. Quinshawn Judkins, we're starting, but I don't feel great about it. I liked the talent last year. He was obviously on a bad Browns team. I just I don't know if I'm a if I'm a buyer this year. I might be a seller. But regardless, if you've got him, he's probably ⁓ a flex play for you, and I'm okay starting him there. If he's up in that running back two range, I don't know if I feel comfortable with that, but fire him up as a flex and you'll probably get into the end zone, catch a few passes, and be just fine. To the rookie wide receivers, Denzel Boston, KC Concepcion. I don't really know who's gonna get the passes, what the breakdown's gonna be. I'm gonna steer clear of both of those rookie wide receivers in week one. Harold Fannon, I guess you can go ahead and start him with confidence. I'm a little interested to see with a different quarterback in there. last year Shadur Sanders was in there and kind of tore it up with Harold Fannon. We'll see how Deshaun Watson handles it with Harold Fannon Junior, but ⁓ we'll go ahead and start him because you drafted him as one of the top probably seven tight ends. That's probably your guy, so you're rolling him out there regardless. To the Jacksonville side of things, and this one maybe will get a little pushback, but we're gonna go ahead and start Trevor Lawrence. I think he's gonna have a phenomenal year. Bayeshall Tutin and Chris Rodriguez, they're both listed as co-starters there. I have no idea what to expect. I think Tutin's gonna be the guy, but they really like Chris Rodriguez. Obviously had previous experience with Liam Cohen. And I can see them both just being in a 50-50 timeshare where they both eat into each other's workload. I'm gonna steer clear in week one until it sorts things out. And then same thing with the wide receivers. I'm a big believer in Brian Thomas Jr. still. I think he had a down year last year because of some injuries. They obviously have Parker Washington, who a lot of people think could be a top 10 wide receiver. Jacoby Myers, who has had nice stints in his career. There's going to be a lot of mouths to feed there in Jacksonville, and I don't know what the distribution's going to be, and it may change from week to week. If I have better options, I'm going to steer clear of all of those receivers and the tight end Brenton Strange in week one. I'm going to see how things shake out. But if you use, you know, one of your picks and you have a Brian Thomas Jr. or a Parker Washington as your wide receiver too, or your best flex option, then I guess you have to start them and you are just hoping that your guy is the one that gets in the end zone. To the Jets versus the Titans, this may be a very ugly game. ⁓ this may also be for the number one pick in the draft next year. Who knows? Both of these teams don't figure to be very good, but sometimes in those matchups, they end up being the best fantasy games because the teams just go back and forth. There's not a lot of defense, and you get a lot of fantasy points. So we'll start off on the New York side. Geno Smith, we're sitting him. Brees Hall ⁓ and Garrett Wilson are obviously starts. Pretty much every week this year, we're gonna start both of those guys. Keep an eye on Brees Hall, had that groin issue. He's kind of back to practice though, should be good to go, but keep an eye on Brees Hall. Braylon Allen is a sit unless Brees Hall is not out there. If Brees Hall misses time, the Braylon Allen is an absolute start RB two. Omar Cooper and Adnai Mitchell both are sits, as well as Kenyon Sadiq, the tight end there in New York. I don't really want any parts of this Jets offense outside of Brees Hall and Garrett Wilson. They're probably not going to be very good. And really, those two guys are are funnels and the ball's going to go to them every play. So I'm steering clear of anybody else. On the Tennessee side of things, Cam Ward, I'm not interested in that. Tony Pollard, I think, is a fine RB2 option. He finished last year as a low end RB two. If you have him, you probably drafted him as your RB two, RB3. Maybe you went with a hero RB build and you got Tony Pollard later in the draft. I think you temper expectations, maybe catch a few passes, maybe fall in the end zone. ⁓ don't expect a huge game out of Tony Pollard, but he he should be right in that 10 to 12 point range. Tajay Spears. I'm sitting Carnell Tate, the exciting rookie wide receiver. I'm gonna go ahead and fire him up. I think he is a a phenomenal talent. I think that Brian Dable is a very good offensive coordinator and will find ways to get Carnell Tate the ball. And I'm sitting Wandell Robinson and Gunnar Helm, the tight end there in Tennessee. ⁓ Wandell could be a big boom best, obviously has that the ties with Brian Dable from last year, but I think this whole offense is going through Carnell Tate. He's going to have a massive year this year as a rookie. Buffalo versus Houston. Starting on the Buffalo side, Josh Allen, obviously you're starting him. James Cook, obviously starting him. Ray Davis, not going to start him. He's merely a handcuff and hopefully he is. only on your roster to be a handcuff or in case something happens to James Cook, then you've got Ray Davis on your squad. ⁓ DJ Moore, I think, could have a big year. I'm not a big DJ Moore ⁓ believer, supporter, whatever, but I do think with Josh Allen and Joe Brady, they're gonna get DJ Moore the ball. Khalil Shakir is a sit for me, but there is that undeniable chemistry between him and Josh Allen. He could have a decent year this year, but I'm sitting him in week one. And then Dalton Kincaid. I I want to see it before I believe it. He is sitting if he's on my team. Over to the Houston side. CJ Stroud is a sit for me. David Montgomery and Woody Marks, the backfield with a lot of question marks. And a month ago, if you would have asked me, I would have said that this is David Montgomery's job. There's no question about it. But Woody Marks has started to grow on me. I think he's gonna have a lot bigger role than I originally thought. But for week one, I'm rolling with my gut. I'm going with David Montgomery. He's going to get in the end zone. They brought him in to be that red zone threat. He's going to get a lot of work down by the goal line. So I'm starting him. And Woody Marks, I'm keeping a very close eye on. If I have to start him, I'm okay with it. I don't love that I have to start Woody Marks this week. If I have the choice, I'm going to sit Woody Marks. But I'm going to keep a very close eye on him going forward. I think he could be a sneaky, sneaky value for that Houston offense. Then obviously, Nico Collins, wide receiver. I'm going to go ahead and start him. The only wide receiver I'm probably going to start from Houston. And then Dalton Schultz, we are going to go ahead and sit him. And we are going to move over to the Atlanta Falcons versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. On the Atlanta side of things, Tua, I want no part of that. Other than that. Give me the three studs there in Atlanta in Bijan, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. I'm starting all three of those guys, regardless of the quarterback situation, regardless of the tough defense in the Pittsburgh Steelers. If you've got those three guys, you drafted them higher for a reason. You have to roll them out there. On the Pittsburgh side of things, it's kind of the exact opposite feeling. I don't want any part of Rodgers. I'm too nervous about that ⁓ running back room with Dowdle and Jalen Warren. I think that Dowdle is gonna get the high value carries. I think Warren's gonna get more of the password. DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman don't do anything for me. I don't really want any pass catchers tied to Aaron Rodgers right now in his career. His arm looks absolutely shot, and I just don't think that the Steelers are gonna run enough plays to make any of these guys fantasy viable. So I'm also out on Pat Fryermouth this week. Moving over to Chicago versus Carolina, and the exact opposite. I want all the parts of Chicago's offense. Caleb Williams is a start. DeAndre Swift, as long as he's healthy and out there, he's a start. Kyle Manungay brings his own value, standalone value as a flex play for me. If I have him, I'm gonna go ahead and fire him up with confidence. Luther Burden, Roman Dunze, and Colston Loveland, I want all the pass catchers there. This whole offense seems to be very banged up right now. Just keep an eye on a all of these players, really whoever you have on your team, make sure that ⁓ they're not banged up, that they're good to go for week one. And then keep an eye on the other guys on the offense that you maybe don't have. So if you have a Luther Burden, keep an eye on Roma Dunze ⁓ and and know if a dunze is gonna miss, then Luther Burden's probably gonna get propped up a little bit higher. I just think that this offense is gonna be very good. Ben Johnson has come out and said he wants to be the best offense ever, and he has the offensive creativity to make that happen. I'm buying all parts of the Chicago Bears offense that I can, and I'm firing them up on a weekly basis. On the Carolina side of things, I'm sitting Bryce Young, the backfield that I have been all about all offseason, Jonathan Brooks, I have been so high on. ⁓ but his injury right now is making me a little nervous going into week one. ⁓ Dave Canales is non-committal about what the injury is, how long it's going to keep him out. Right now, Chuba Hubbard somehow looks like the healthy lead back there in Carolina. So if you have Chuba, I guess you fire him up. If you have Jonathan Brooks, even at this point, I think I'm a little too worried to start him with any sort of confidence. If he had, you know, a a fully healthy training camp and preseason, I would feel comfortable starting Jonathan Brooks. But the fact that he's been banged up, he's been sidelined, he's been over on the side working separately from the team. I just don't feel comfortable firing him up in week one, not knowing fully what his role is going to be. And then in the wide receiver room, Teterola McMillan, I'm gonna fire him up almost every week. I drafted him high, he's probably my wide receiver too. ⁓ and I love the talent of Tet McMillan. It's just always been a question of Bryce Young and the Carolina offense, but in week one. I'm gonna go ahead and fire him up. I think that they're gonna have to throw the ball a ton. They're gonna be down a lot to the Chicago Bears. And Jalen Coker is somebody that I'm probably gonna stay clear of. And then Darren Waller is listed as their lead tight end. I'm gonna stay clear of him as well. I really only want the running back or running backs and Tep McMillan in that offense. Green Bay Packers versus the Minnesota Vikings. We will start in Green Bay, Jordan Love. Probably didn't draft him very high. He's probably your quarterback too. So I'm gonna go ahead and sit him down. And then the running back by committee there in Green Bay, Marshawn Lloyd, Chris Brooks, and Caleb Johnson. ⁓ I don't know what to make of it. Nobody seems to know what to make of it. Marshawn Lloyd seems to be the number one, one A. ⁓ he's got the most talent, he's got the most juice. If I have Marshawn Lloyd, that's who I'm firing up. If I have one of the other two, I'm not starting them. And then with the wide receivers, I'll go ahead and fire up Christian Watson. I think that ⁓ he is a fine play. Jaden Reed is a flex play. If you've got Jaden Reed, I think you could go ahead and start him. Temper expectations. But when Jaden Reed's been out there and healthy, he has been very good for this Packers offense. Matthew Golden, I'm going to go ahead and sit him. I still need to see it. He was up and down last year. A lot of talent coming in and just kind of never produced. They never got him the ball. I want to see it before I believe it. And then Tucker Kraft coming off that injury. I'm firing him up. If I waited on tight end, I tried to target him in that seventh or eighth round. I'm very excited for Tucker Kraft. I'll go ahead and fire him up in week one. On the Minnesota side of things, Kyler Murray is a smash start for me. I waited on him in drafts. I got him super late. Maybe I paired him with Justin Jefferson. I think Kyler Murray is gonna run around. He's gonna score points with his legs, he's gonna score points with his arm. He's gonna be a very good late round pick for the Vikings and for your fantasy team. If you have Kyler Murray, go ahead and start him in week one. When it comes to the backfield for Minnesota, I'm out on Aaron Jones, but I'm in on Jordan Mason. I think Mason's gonna have a very, very good year. I tried to scoop him up everywhere that I could. I think that he's a very valuable running back two in fantasy football, and it starts this week against Green Bay. Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison are starts for me. Juwan Jennings is a sit. I don't know that there's enough to go around for all three of those guys. And I think that Jefferson and Addison are the one and two there. Hawkinson, kind of the same story. I think he's a fine play. He may fall into the end zone at some point and get you some points, but I think there's better options out there at the tight end position this week. Over to Miami versus Las Vegas. This one's pretty simple. I don't want any part of the Miami offense except for Devon Achan. And even then, I'm holding my breath. I don't know what to expect. I think Malik Willis is going to be able to give you weekly value, ⁓ but I don't know in week one. And I don't want to find out. I don't want to tell you to start Malik Willis. Hopefully you you're not starting Malik Willis. Hopefully you have better options than him. But if you have Devon Achan, you're starting him. You drafted him as maybe your running back one, maybe your running back two. ⁓ but in those first couple rounds, regardless, you're starting Devon A-chan. I would steer clear of any of the pass catchers and I would steer clear of Malik Willis, but A Chan, you can fire up. In Las Vegas, a little bit of the same story. Kirk Cousins is not going to give you anything with his legs. His arm might be good for a couple touchdowns at best. I'm gonna steer clear of Kirk Cousins, but I want Ashton Genty. Make sure that he is good to go for Sunday, fully healthy, ready to rock, and fire him up with confidence as your top running back. Mike Washington, keep an eye on him. You're obviously not going to start him over Genty, but if Genty misses time, Mike Washington could be a very, very valuable piece. And then Jalen Naylor, who seems to be the team's top wide receiver. I'm gonna sit him this week, but Brock Bowers is obviously a start. Over to Arizona, Jacoby Brissett, we're gonna go ahead and sit him. And then the running backs. I'm gonna start both of them. I think that both of them have value. If Jeremiah Love does end up missing time, which I don't think he's going to, but if he does, Tyler Algier obviously shoots way up there in the rankings. But I think both of them have some value for different reasons. Algier maybe will get the Higher value touches earlier in the game when the game is close. Maybe he falls into the end zone. Jeremiah Love, I think, is going to be used a lot in the passing game. So I would start both of them if I had them, probably as that low running back two flex play, but I would feel comfortable starting both of those guys. And then the wide receivers, kind of the same story. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson. Wilson just got that extension. Marv has a lot to. Improve with a new coaching staff there. And I think that they're gonna want to get him the ball and get that true breakout out of Marf. I'll start both of them this week, and I'll also start Trey McBride, obviously, every single week that I can. To the Los Angeles side, this is an offense that I've gone on and on and on about. I'm starting Justin Herbert, I'm starting Omarion Hampton. I am not starting Keaton Mitchell. Keep an eye on him as you go forward. But in week one, I'm not confident starting him at the wide receiver position. I'm starting Ladd McConkey. And I'm probably not starting Quentin Johnston just because he went so late in the draft that you probably should have better wide receiver options. But I do really like Quentin Johnston this year to go off, maybe as soon as this week. ⁓ but he's gonna go off on my bench this week in week one. I just don't have enough trust to fire him up in week one. And then the the tight end position in Los Angeles, Oron A Gadson was kind of Believed to be the tight end one. They've got a whole mix of guys. I'm going to sit them all. I don't know how they're going to use them. Jim Harbaugh loves his tight ends. He loves to move them all around and use a lot of them. I'm going to steer clear of all tight ends in Los Angeles right now. Going to the NFC East, the Washington Commanders versus the Philadelphia Eagles, Jaden Daniels, we are starting him. Bill Krosky Merritt. We're going to start him. I'm a big believer in Bill this year. I think that last year he had a lot of pressure on him to be that. the fantasy darling and he maybe let down a little bit. I still think he's a fine running back two option and I'm going to start him this week. Rashad White, I think will be a fine piece in real life football. I just I don't believe in him in fantasy football this year or today. Terry McLaurin, he's been there. He always seems to produce. We're going to go ahead and fire him up. Stefan Diggs, I don't know what his role is going to be quite yet. I think long term this season he could be a very viable wide receiver too, but I'm gonna steer clear in week one just because I don't know exactly what to expect. And then Chiga Conquo, who knows? Maybe he has a breakout year for the commanders, but I'm steering clear in week one. On the Philadelphia side, Jalen Hurts, you're obviously starting him. He's your quarterback one. You're hoping for the tush push eighteen times in a game to get you You know, all those points that he seems to get for free every single week, every single year, and really boost his fantasy value up. Saquon Barkley is obviously starting Tank Bigsby. You're not gonna go ahead and start him. On the wide receiver side, Devontae Smith slides over to be that wide receiver one with the departure of AJ Brown. You're gonna go ahead and start Devontae Smith. And then Mikai Lemon. I want to see it out of him first. I love the talent, love the ability. I'm not sure how he fits in this Philadelphia offense yet. And maybe he could be an up and down weekly guy that you you don't know if you can trust. I want to see it before I put him in my starting lineup. Same thing with Dontabian Wicks. ⁓ he comes over from Green Bay. I like the talent, like the player. I think he has more of a value on this Eagles team than maybe a lot of people want to believe. But I'm sitting him this week. Dallas Goddard's got that rapport. He's been there. I would. I would go ahead and start Dallas Godd I had him on my team. Going over to the Nightcap, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants in Dallas. This should be another fun year of offensive football. Dak Prescott, we are starting him. Javante Williams, CeeDee Lambs, George Pickens. We're starting all of them. And then Jake Ferguson, we're gonna go ahead and sit him this week. I want to see ⁓ how he fits, where the distribution goes, because it all really funnels through that run game and through CD and Pickens. So I'm staying clear of Ferguson. If either of those receivers miss time, Ferguson obviously gets a bump and could be valuable throughout the season. But most weeks I'm probably gonna stay clear of Jake Ferguson. On the New York side, I'm starting Jackson Dart. I'm starting Cam Scattaboo, and I'm starting Malik Neighbors. I'm keeping a close eye on it. I want to know what they're saying about his injury, what his snap count's gonna be. But regardless, if he's out there, I'm probably gonna go ahead and fire him up because he's my wide receiver too. And Malik Neighbors doesn't necessarily need a hundred percent of the snaps or eighty percent of the snaps. I think even with sixty-five percent of the snaps, he could house something. I mean, he's that talented. ⁓ when he's out there, they're not gonna have him just out there running around. They're gonna get him the ball, get him involved in the game. Temper expectations certainly if you start Malik Neighbors, but man, I would have a very hard time not starting him if he is active. And on the flip side of that. Regardless if neighbors is active or not, the wide receiver room in New York is kind of in shambles right now. Isaiah Likely should be a very, very valuable piece to that offense. I am firing Isaiah Likely up in every league that I have him, and I have so much confidence in him having a big game this week and a big year. And then going over to our final game of the week, the Monday night matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. Bo Nicks, a very quiet top ten quarterback the last couple of years. You're starting him. You have a lot of confidence there. The backfield, I don't have as much confidence in. I'm starting JK Dobbins. I'm staying away from Harvey and I'm staying away from Jonah Coleman. I've talked about Coleman on previous videos. I think Coleman could take over that job before long, but right now I'm gonna go ahead and start Dobbins and I'm gonna be out on the other two. ⁓ in the wide receiver room, Jalen Waddle should have a very big year. I'm starting him, I'm staying clear of Cortland Sutton. I'm staying clear of Pat Bryant for now. I think Bryant could take over that wide receiver two role before long, but in week one, Waddle's the only one I want. And then Evan Ingram, I'm also sitting him. On the Kansas City side, this one kind of pains me, but we are sitting Patrick Mahomes this week. I just think that there's better options with him coming back from his knee injury. They're not going to have him running around in week one. He may do some improvising and run around a little bit himself, but they are they want to run. Worked that run game. They brought in Kenneth Walker for a reason. They're going to give him the ball. They're going to dump it off to him a lot. They're going to have a lot of quick throws to Rasheed Rice to get rid of the ball quick. They're not going to have Pat drop back and hold it forever. So going to stay clear of Mahomes this week. Kenneth Walker, I am throwing out there in every league. I think he has been undervalued this offseason. He's going to be a big, big piece of that team. And then I'm starting Rasheed Rice. I'm sitting Xavier Worthy. And then Travis Kelsey, I'm gonna go ahead and start him because if I have him, I probably waited at the tight end position. He's been a top ten ⁓ tight end forever. He's I mean, even last year, he was a tight end five. I know that there's some injuries and whatnot that took place to lead to him being in the top five, but regardless, he was a top five tight end last year. I think he's firmly in that top twelve tight end range. I don't know that you're gonna have a whole lot of better options if you waited at the tight end position. So I'm starting Travis Kelsey.
