- Sue: memorializing the last of the tools my late husband owned now being transferred into the hands of some very creative people. I'm very grateful for their willingness to remove all of the heavy equipment with their sheer brawn and brains out of the basement up into their pickup bed without injury. I can attest that all had their fingers and toes when last they left. Anybody that spends any time with a woodworker or a tree surgeon or an arborist will appreciate that. It's been an interesting journey because while my husband and I shared many passions together during our time, woodworking, I could only appreciate from the observer side of things. And so while I knew what all the tools were and what their purposes were, was specialist equipment that now I know is in the right hands, confirmation with a woodpecker, as it should be. And I've managed to share that stash of tools and equipment with a variety of creative people. That gives me joy. To me, I think that's probably the bigger gift is receiving that joy for sharing those unwanted but nonetheless passion tools with others who are passionate about the same. And I'm also grateful to now have more connections locally. People that add value in their own lives first. They stand up for themselves. That's the kind of richness in life that's the kind of attitude if you got to be digging it while it's happening. And it's also reflection back to The statement of Gareth's friend on the eve of him headed to the United States for our blind date in 2006 was his quote, America needs you more than you need America. And I think in the end, way that his tools were distributed to several craftsmen here locally, I'd agree with that. I think it's a beautiful thing. And repeating once again some more, I'm grateful. to receive this sense of bliss. Weight has been emotionally lifted off of me. I wasn't worried about when I was gonna get rid of the equipment. It was more about just ensuring that at some point it was gonna get in the hands of the people that will appreciate it and value it the most. And that has happened. It's this kind of alignment that's a sign that things are as they should be. They're moving forward. In the spiritual realm, I'm making room for more things to come into my life, receive more things, because I've gotten rid of material things. I am grateful. Thank you for taking time to listen. Sometimes we don't fully appreciate the depth of what it is to purge our material belongings until they're gone. And I'm not trying to be overly prosaic here, but I didn't anticipate to feel a level of bliss that I do just because somebody else is gonna get joy out of using that. And I think that's just a reminder to us all that we all matter to one another. Connections are just a beautiful thing. Organic, unforced, genuine. So thank you for that. Thank you for your connection. I appreciate you.
