- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, we are live. Hello everybody, and welcome to
- 0:04Speaker 1: Honey Badger Radio. My name is Brian. I'm here with
- 0:06Speaker 1: Alison and this is maintaining frame. Well, it's really like
- 0:10Speaker 1: the cozy gaming stream where we're going to be talking
- 0:13Speaker 1: a little bit about a medium blog and playing some
- 0:16Speaker 1: repo eventually. I'm also going to be doing this with
- 0:21Speaker 1: a mod called crowd Control, which lets you guys as
- 0:25Speaker 1: players or as viewers rather contribute to the game by
- 0:30Speaker 1: creating chaotic effects. So if you want to do that,
- 0:34Speaker 1: set us a super chat and a recommendation like with
- 0:38Speaker 1: whatever you want to say, but also add in what
- 0:40Speaker 1: you'd like to do. So if you want to make
- 0:42Speaker 1: things more like worse for us, more chaotic for us,
- 0:46Speaker 1: if you want to help us out, just like you
- 0:48Speaker 1: don't have to be specific, I will activate all of
- 0:51Speaker 1: the mods on my end. Just make a suggestion with
- 0:56Speaker 1: what you want and I'll be sure to apply it.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And you can do that with a super chat, a
- 1:00Speaker 1: rumble rant, or a super chat. And even if you're
- 1:03Speaker 1: gonna send one anyway, you might as well ask for
- 1:05Speaker 1: an effect. So you know, say what do you want,
- 1:08Speaker 1: like something positive, something negative or interesting times which is
- 1:13Speaker 1: just adding chaos to it.
- 1:15Speaker 2: So and can they do it the way can they
- 1:19Speaker 2: do like the last Boulder's Gate that were we did, uh,
- 1:23Speaker 2: they were able to send them in through uh through
- 1:26Speaker 2: super chat, through like YouTube. Can they do that again
- 1:29Speaker 2: or does it?
- 1:32Speaker 1: They can do it through YouTube? But the thing, the
- 1:36Speaker 1: way that crowd control works is you have to like
- 1:39Speaker 1: buy in gate, like you have to buy coins and
- 1:42Speaker 1: then use the coins to buy the effects. So I figured,
- 1:47Speaker 1: if they're this will just cut the middleman out. I'll
- 1:50Speaker 1: just read it as a super chat, It'll just come through.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I can do that too, though. I have the interact
- 1:56Speaker 1: link here and I can just add it to the
- 1:58Speaker 1: description if you guys can a refresh.
- 2:05Speaker 2: That all right, And while Brian does that, I will
- 2:07Speaker 2: explain what we will be talking about. As you guys
- 2:11Speaker 2: may have been aware. A new Marvel no no, sorry,
- 2:15Speaker 2: a new DC Yeah, new superhero, new super slop everyone. Yeah,
- 2:24Speaker 2: and uh, apparently nobody went to it. But in particular
- 2:29Speaker 2: men are to blame for that.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And it was Supergirl and it wasn't targeted for men.
- 2:35Speaker 2: This was supposed to be a superhero movie for the ladies,
- 2:39Speaker 2: and men didn't go. While they did go, But they
- 2:42Speaker 2: didn't go enough to make up for the fact that
- 2:45Speaker 2: women really didn't go, And so it's all your fault. Gents,
- 2:51Speaker 2: you didn't go to a movie that wasn't for you
- 2:53Speaker 2: in the first place. How dare how dare you weren't
- 2:57Speaker 2: the target audience and you didn't show up? Well you did.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's the great irony in all this. It's like this
- 3:03Speaker 2: thing would have completely tanked if men hadn't shown up,
- 3:07Speaker 2: which we we really need to get to those guys
- 3:09Speaker 2: because on the opening night fifty nine percent of the
- 3:12Speaker 2: people in the theaters were men. What are you doing?
- 3:16Speaker 3: Why are you doing this?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Don't give them your money?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Who the hell? Who is these? Who are these men?
- 3:24Speaker 1: So you did you find this out for sure that
- 3:27Speaker 1: it was like nifty four?
- 3:29Speaker 2: I can, I can double check, I can double check,
- 3:31Speaker 2: but I have Internet checked this.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Because I know that was the case for I know
- 3:35Speaker 1: that was the case for The Marvels, which is another
- 3:38Speaker 1: super hero movie that was made with women in mind,
- 3:40Speaker 1: that men went and saw.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe they shouldn't be targeting the particular like the
- 3:47Speaker 2: type of men who go to see Supergirl and the
- 3:50Speaker 2: Marbles apparently aren't very good at word of mouth. So
- 3:55Speaker 2: maybe they shouldn't target these men, like or it was
- 3:59Speaker 2: so bad they couldn't recommend it to any of any
- 4:02Speaker 2: of their male friends. But yeah, no, the Marvels and
- 4:04Speaker 2: Supergirl both had a majority male audience, and it's like
- 4:08Speaker 2: I said, who are you guys and stop it? But
- 4:13Speaker 2: they still didn't manage to go anywhere. They still bombed.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And of course it's men to blame. Like, I mean,
- 4:23Speaker 2: if they're gonna blame men anyway, then why don't you
- 4:25Speaker 2: guys just stop going right? Well, I know why. It's
- 4:30Speaker 2: because it's super slop. So there'll always be.
- 4:34Speaker 1: There's always yeah, there's always culture junkies ready to throw
- 4:38Speaker 1: their money at anything, no matter what, like, no matter
- 4:41Speaker 1: how the people who created a feel about the audience
- 4:45Speaker 1: that's giving them money. Because like this the thing that
- 4:48Speaker 1: the people who make these movies, they have nothing but
- 4:50Speaker 1: disdain for the fans, the source material and in particular
- 4:57Speaker 1: the you know, the the men that base supported the
- 5:01Speaker 1: culture itself, like by investing in it. They just have
- 5:04Speaker 1: to stay from them, and they hate the fact that
- 5:06Speaker 1: it's successful. Yeah. Well, I mean when I say successful,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't mean the movie. I mean like the the Fantist, well,
- 5:14Speaker 1: the property. The intellectual property is a big was it was? Yeah, Oh,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I think the comics and stuff will probably still sell
- 5:22Speaker 1: well as long as they don't go down the same road.
- 5:25Speaker 1: But but yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think the point we need to take
- 5:32Speaker 2: from this is this, all right, when a movie is
- 5:35Speaker 2: targeted at women, it's men's obligation to make it successful.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yes, exactly. Else we got to make it appeal to
- 5:45Speaker 1: the people who, you know, we are saying that are
- 5:49Speaker 1: keeping us from i don't know, like being successful. We
- 5:52Speaker 1: have to appeal to them to make it successful. And
- 5:54Speaker 1: if they don't turn out, then it's their faulty make
- 5:59Speaker 1: it turn out to see it.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's the thing. Like the men did turn out.
- 6:04Speaker 2: He gave it the good college try guys, and even
- 6:06Speaker 2: they were just like even the ones who go even
- 6:09Speaker 2: the men who seem to be keeping the Marvels and
- 6:12Speaker 2: the super girls in the orbit of potentially being made.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Even those dudes apparently were like yak had the ick
- 6:22Speaker 2: during the during the screening and just decided that it
- 6:26Speaker 2: would die with them. Oh my god. But yeah, men
- 6:31Speaker 2: are to blame. Movie targeted to women. Women don't go
- 6:37Speaker 2: do it. Men are to blame, right, what you guys
- 6:41Speaker 2: need to do is go strap your girlfriends into the
- 6:45Speaker 2: clockwork orange rig and force them to go. Yeah, or
- 6:50Speaker 2: just find a woman. If it's for feminism, it's okay, No,
- 6:55Speaker 2: don't do this, but go find a woman and do it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Don't do it, but or do it in Minecraft. Just
- 7:02Speaker 2: just go want to find that. You know they're women
- 7:03Speaker 2: in the parkphree, Go get one, strap her into the
- 7:06Speaker 2: clockwork orange rig, take her to Supergirl. It's your duty
- 7:10Speaker 2: as a man.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Anyway. So we have this article from Medium and it
- 7:21Speaker 1: is about the superhero the Supergirl movie. I've got I
- 7:24Speaker 1: gotta get this right, and it is entitled why men
- 7:28Speaker 1: want this movie to fail so badly? Mind you, this
- 7:31Speaker 1: is a film about a woman taking down sex traffickers.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So that that's just tacked on.
- 7:42Speaker 1: That's tactic's tacked.
- 7:44Speaker 2: On, that subplot tacked on probably to traffickers. Moral righteous Yeah,
- 7:51Speaker 2: this is the moral self righteousness. Firewall. Move Now. You
- 7:55Speaker 2: can't criticize the film or you're pro sex traffickers. Even
- 7:59Speaker 2: though I asked you about the title of that film
- 8:02Speaker 2: that men actually went to see. What was it Citizen Vigilante,
- 8:09Speaker 2: which was about actual sex trafficking, which was the main
- 8:12Speaker 2: subject of the movie, and it was a dramaticization of
- 8:16Speaker 2: something that actually happened, and men apparently were free, they
- 8:21Speaker 2: felt free or they wanted to go to that mm hm.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And now because they didn't want to go to this
- 8:27Speaker 2: particular sex trafficking film, it's well, it wasn't even the
- 8:33Speaker 2: thing is it's not even this is a secondary side plot.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Can you still hear me?
- 8:37Speaker 1: I heard.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I heard something strange. You know, it's always anxiety and
- 8:44Speaker 2: duc when you hear like a beep. But anyway, they
- 8:49Speaker 2: men went to Citizen Vigilante apparently, if I remember the
- 8:54Speaker 2: forecosts about men wanting to go see this film and
- 8:58Speaker 2: then the left being very upset about it for whatever reason.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Oh Citizen of Vigilante. Well, you see, Olson, the important
- 9:06Speaker 1: distinction is not whether or not the topic is the same,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but rather whether or not the targets are the same.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And so in Supergirl, the sex traffickers are sort of
- 9:17Speaker 1: like Alien Raider. What they actually had a name for them,
- 9:21Speaker 1: they kept using over and over again. But they were
- 9:24Speaker 1: like I think Alien Raider, Mad Max knockoff characters, like
- 9:30Speaker 1: they weren't they weren't technically human, they were aliens. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: they looked like and were coded like, you know, white dudes.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So because of that, this is completely acceptable to tell
- 9:41Speaker 1: that story about, especially because it's a woman rescuing, you know,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and defeating these guys. And the fact that it's I
- 9:48Speaker 1: don't know if it's the secondary or the primary plot,
- 9:51Speaker 1: because it's either that one or the crypto is poisoned
- 9:54Speaker 1: for some reason plot. But see, Citizen Vigilante is a
- 9:58Speaker 1: problem because it's a about a guy that's breaking up
- 10:01Speaker 1: sex trafficking, which is a little too close to reality,
- 10:04Speaker 1: a little clue too close to home, especially if you
- 10:07Speaker 1: live in Europe where there are grooming gangs. And it's
- 10:10Speaker 1: a problem because these grooming gangs happen to follow a
- 10:13Speaker 1: specific kind of religion that a lot of people who
- 10:16Speaker 1: work in the business and around it and in journalism
- 10:19Speaker 1: and in media don't want you criticizing. So you see,
- 10:23Speaker 1: it's it's very different. It's night and day. You might say,
- 10:27Speaker 1: it's a difference between white coated aliens and actual.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Like sex traffic crap, but alien men.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well, actually it's in the in the movie for Supergirl,
- 10:44Speaker 1: the specific alien race of sex traffickers are and they
- 10:48Speaker 1: never explain why this how could this even make sense?
- 10:52Speaker 1: Are all men? So there are no females in that race.
- 10:56Speaker 1: In fact, the only way they reproduce apparently is by
- 10:59Speaker 1: going and like pillaging and you know, turning women into
- 11:03Speaker 1: slaves to reproduce for them. That's the only way they
- 11:05Speaker 1: can reproduce. So they don't actually have a female in
- 11:10Speaker 1: their you know, in their race, I guess race, species
- 11:15Speaker 1: or whatever it is. And I mean that makes no sense,
- 11:19Speaker 1: like nothing could exist that way, but that's what they did.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So but.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Like the the whole pronatalism. So not only is it white,
- 11:30Speaker 2: not only are these white alien males, they're also pro natalist.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Their mocking or they're they're lampooning or they're sending up pronatalist. Uh.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah. And the other thing that's interesting about yeah, well
- 11:43Speaker 1: of course it's like a it's a it's a straw
- 11:46Speaker 1: man of it. The other thing that's interesting about this
- 11:48Speaker 1: too is that they're basically this, these alien graters or
- 11:52Speaker 1: whatever they are, they're actually like the opposite or the
- 11:56Speaker 1: flip side of Thermiscira, which is the island of Amazons.
- 12:01Speaker 1: So like in Wonder Woman, it's the same universe. You
- 12:04Speaker 1: have the Amazons and there's no men, right, they they're
- 12:06Speaker 1: all women. I don't know how they reproduce or whatever,
- 12:09Speaker 1: but I think there is Amazons. The Amazons are Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 1: the Amazons don't do any of that stuff. They're they're noble,
- 12:18Speaker 1: they're honorable. They they have like a code like they're
- 12:21Speaker 1: you know, they they have ancient ways of being. I mean,
- 12:25Speaker 1: they don't trust men, but that's not like seen as
- 12:29Speaker 1: like a big problem. In fact, it's probably to some
- 12:33Speaker 1: degree like considered you know, reasonable. So they're not like
- 12:37Speaker 1: but they're not doing what these alien you know, raiders
- 12:41Speaker 1: guys are doing.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So well, what I what I was trying to get
- 12:45Speaker 2: at is in the original myths, the Amazons did actually
- 12:48Speaker 2: kidnap and it sectually enslaved men. So in what there
- 12:52Speaker 2: you go in like the original Yeah, yeah, early with
- 13:01Speaker 2: the men of course. Yeah, how you know, exact same society,
- 13:07Speaker 2: but very different depiction. Yeah, this is a so I'm
- 13:11Speaker 2: looking at the numbers.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Now, I'm sorry. The word is brigand they are brigands.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I think.
- 13:18Speaker 2: So men did go to both of these flops, the
- 13:22Speaker 2: Marvels and the Supergirl. What happens is when they create
- 13:29Speaker 2: a hit, like a female superhero hit which has happened.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Wonder Woman was one I can't camptor Marvel. The original
- 13:38Speaker 2: was one. Uh, the women turn out significantly and and
- 13:46Speaker 2: uh and they and that's what drives the hit, like
- 13:49Speaker 2: part of what drives the hit the men. The men
- 13:51Speaker 2: show up as usual, but the women show up and
- 13:54Speaker 2: then you have a hit. So if Supergirl did wasn't
- 13:57Speaker 2: a hit and she was a female super zero, it's
- 14:00Speaker 2: because women didn't turn up for it. Mm hmmm. You
- 14:04Speaker 2: think that the people writing these movies might consider why
- 14:09Speaker 2: women are not turning up for them, Like, I'm actually
- 14:13Speaker 2: gonna look.
- 14:14Speaker 1: At they they they can't what we're gonna say about
- 14:19Speaker 1: Citizen Vigilante.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I'm actually just looking it up the the the percentage, honestly, like.
- 14:27Speaker 1: A lot of people didn't go to a theater to
- 14:29Speaker 1: watch that one. They because it's on Amazon, but it's
- 14:32Speaker 1: number one on It's like everyone, it's not just men
- 14:36Speaker 1: that are watching it, Like everyone's watching it.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, everybody. But my point is that I remember
- 14:42Speaker 2: watching Wonder Woman and I thought it was a good movie.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I mean it's it's it's not fantastic, like it's not
- 14:52Speaker 2: yeah the gal.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't. I didn't like the end, But I
- 14:59Speaker 1: like the movie overall. It left it it was all right.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I wouldn't buy it, I wouldn't watch it again, but
- 15:05Speaker 1: I thought it was all right.
- 15:07Speaker 2: So yeah, and the second one I thought it was
- 15:09Speaker 2: all right too. It's got a lot of superhero logic
- 15:14Speaker 2: that you can't really probe too deeply, but you know,
- 15:18Speaker 2: not bad. I think they might want to consider why
- 15:22Speaker 2: women resonated more with Wonder Woman than with Supergirl.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Why what what they were?
- 15:30Speaker 2: Actually why women resonated more with Wonder Girl, Wonder Woman
- 15:35Speaker 2: versus Supergirl. Yeah, maybe consider the thematic choices they made.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I don't know it's a possibility, but I guess they'll
- 15:44Speaker 2: just blame men for the fact that women didn't show up.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well, this is the thing. Like, the truth is
- 15:53Speaker 1: is that most men. Men are mostly going to watch
- 15:55Speaker 1: these kinds of movies because they expect that these kinds
- 15:59Speaker 1: of movies are more in line with action movies than say, mysteries,
- 16:04Speaker 1: thrillers or dramas. And men like to see action movies
- 16:09Speaker 1: because they enjoy the spectacle. Now it doesn't mean that
- 16:11Speaker 1: women can't enjoy it, but generally men are gonna be
- 16:13Speaker 1: the ones to go out and see these kinds of things.
- 16:16Speaker 1: And if you make something, even if you have a
- 16:20Speaker 1: female hero in it or a protagonist or whatever, you
- 16:23Speaker 1: can pull it off as long as you don't shit
- 16:25Speaker 1: on the audience when you make it. And if you're
- 16:29Speaker 1: adapting something, you want to try and be like as
- 16:33Speaker 1: true to that thing as possible, because there's a reason
- 16:36Speaker 1: people are going to see something that is an adaptation.
- 16:39Speaker 1: They want to see what the adaptation looks like on
- 16:41Speaker 1: the screen. So if you're taking crazy liberties and you're
- 16:44Speaker 1: changing everything, you're gonna piss people off. And this isn't
- 16:47Speaker 1: like a new thing. This has been the case forever.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I mean every time James Bond changes actors there's like
- 16:54Speaker 1: a bit of an uproar because some people take issue
- 16:57Speaker 1: with their choices. This isn't like a recent phenomenon, for example.
- 17:02Speaker 1: But in the thing about Supergirl is I guess people
- 17:08Speaker 1: are just really tired of the cynical nihilism that most media.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It's not just you know, people will say I don't
- 17:17Speaker 1: like superhero movies. It's not superhero movies, guys, it's just movies.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It's all of them, with very few exceptions. They all
- 17:26Speaker 1: have the same problems. It's this desire to constantly shit
- 17:31Speaker 1: on men, masculinity, Americans, capitalism, whiteness, like whatever the list, right,
- 17:37Speaker 1: But most of it comes down to like masculine virtues,
- 17:41Speaker 1: those things are they have to be questioned, they have
- 17:44Speaker 1: to be disrupted, they have to be dismantled, undermined in
- 17:49Speaker 1: some way, and it just manifests. And it's always in
- 17:52Speaker 1: the stuff that the men like want to go see too,
- 17:54Speaker 1: that they're specifically going after. I mean, you're not gonna
- 17:57Speaker 1: see them subvert Devil Wears Prada too, because that's gonna
- 18:02Speaker 1: give the audience that watches that kind of stuff more
- 18:04Speaker 1: of what they want, and I'm sure it'll be good
- 18:07Speaker 1: for them. I've never seen those movies. It's not my
- 18:10Speaker 1: it's not my bag of chips, but I'm I think
- 18:14Speaker 1: that the by and large, the audience has wised up
- 18:17Speaker 1: and they're just like at the point now where they
- 18:19Speaker 1: can see it before you know, before it even released
- 18:22Speaker 1: if they want to like spend their money on it
- 18:23Speaker 1: or not. And they're not going to set aside. Like
- 18:27Speaker 1: I said before, some like diehard culture junkies that will
- 18:33Speaker 1: basically buy whatever the machine puts out. They just want
- 18:37Speaker 1: to be the person that saw the new thing, or
- 18:40Speaker 1: you have people that hate watch it so they can make,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you know, roasting videos about how bad it is. But yeah,
- 18:50Speaker 1: okay forgot Yeah, go ahead, go ahead.
- 18:54Speaker 2: So the female share of the opening for wonder Woman
- 18:57Speaker 2: twenty seventeen was fifty two percent, which was a plus
- 19:02Speaker 2: sixteen points, especially in the initial weeks apparently. So that's
- 19:09Speaker 2: sixteen points higher than the gender average or the female
- 19:12Speaker 2: turnout for the genre norm and for Supergirl it's forty
- 19:18Speaker 2: one percent. So this is driven by women just avoiding it, right, So.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Go ahead as well, I'm gonna say it's not. But
- 19:31Speaker 1: the thing is that you can't just women don't want
- 19:36Speaker 1: to see an action movie with a woman leading it
- 19:39Speaker 1: in gaid.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but they want they went. My point is that
- 19:42Speaker 2: they went to see wonder Woman, and of course they had.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You know, wonder Woman is a much higher tier hero.
- 19:47Speaker 2: He did not go to see this one. And the
- 19:50Speaker 2: other thing is that when women go, they bring their
- 19:53Speaker 2: generally bring their boyfriends or husbands or other male family members,
- 19:57Speaker 2: so one woman is probably probably also upping the male share,
- 20:02Speaker 2: which is why when you get women into the theater overall,
- 20:06Speaker 2: the percentage may not shift that much or it does shift,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but they're bringing you know, their their male relatives, so
- 20:15Speaker 2: the male half also goes up. So that's why it's
- 20:18Speaker 2: like it's almost like a ratcheting effect, right.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Unless the men are bringing their girlfriends or their wives
- 20:25Speaker 1: or whatever to the movies.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a little skeptical that. I'm a little skeptical
- 20:30Speaker 2: that the men who choose to go to things like
- 20:32Speaker 2: super Girl. I don't mean this in a shaming.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Way, but I'm that the girlfriends to bring.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's.
- 20:45Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I I'm just saying, like, you know, if or this
- 20:57Speaker 2: is an event that men only want to go to
- 20:59Speaker 2: a low for whatever reason, like this Supergirl.
- 21:02Speaker 1: With friends against like can Roasted.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe maybe, but but again, you'd think if they
- 21:11Speaker 2: had hit something that women wanted, they would have showed up.
- 21:13Speaker 2: That's the point. This is a bond because women didn't
- 21:16Speaker 2: show up.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's uh, well anyway, I guys.
- 21:24Speaker 2: My husband keeps saying it's because Wonder Woman doesn't look
- 21:28Speaker 2: like a Neanderthal.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Well, the thing is like this Millie Alcock, she was
- 21:34Speaker 1: at the end of the Superman movie. I think that
- 21:37Speaker 1: was her playing Supergirl in a little thing. I know,
- 21:42Speaker 1: I know but I mean, she was cute in that one,
- 21:45Speaker 1: but I guess in this one they made her look
- 21:47Speaker 1: more messy and rough. And that's again that's that it's
- 21:50Speaker 1: it doesn't look aspirational. I think that's part of it too,
- 21:55Speaker 1: Like it's so I don't know, it's just kind of
- 21:57Speaker 1: ugly and dirty and dark and the light was bad. Yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I heard. I heard there was a lot of issues visually.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Johnthan is saying that it's not aspirational. That's my husband.
- 22:08Speaker 2: So women didn't they didn't see herself and they didn't
- 22:12Speaker 2: see themselves in this sort of gritty, trashy for the
- 22:17Speaker 2: streets woman kind of thing.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I think that's the way they were going for it. Yeah, basically,
- 22:23Speaker 2: you know, And yeah, I guess they're trying to say, well,
- 22:25Speaker 2: men got to be kind of trashy and rough and
- 22:28Speaker 2: rough and rumpled in like noir in the past. But
- 22:32Speaker 2: he actually watched that they're not. Really, they're actually still
- 22:36Speaker 2: pretty uh.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Well yeah, but like what women like to see in
- 22:41Speaker 1: men is not the same as what men like to
- 22:43Speaker 1: see in women. So a man who looks like he's
- 22:47Speaker 1: you know, like I don't know, working hard, Yeah, like
- 22:52Speaker 1: works hard, got a little beat up, he's got scars,
- 22:56Speaker 1: like those things women can find attractive because it means
- 22:59Speaker 1: that this guy is tough, and that means we would
- 23:03Speaker 1: make for a good protector. So I think that women
- 23:06Speaker 1: are looking for different qualities. So yeah, I mean you
- 23:08Speaker 1: can't really, I don't think that it's apples and oranges.
- 23:10Speaker 1: That is what I'm saying.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Okay, here's here's some here's some differences that I pulled
- 23:15Speaker 2: up thematic in character differences, character disposition. Wonder Woman earnest,
- 23:21Speaker 2: idealistic directors to dated design, kind, loving, forgiving, and a
- 23:25Speaker 2: badass protective, and she's introduced as protecting others in the
- 23:33Speaker 2: like the signature sequences A Supergirl designed is damaged guns
- 23:38Speaker 2: stated aim was a female lead who is a total mess,
- 23:42Speaker 2: where reviewers describe drifts through throughout most of the movie
- 23:45Speaker 2: on apathy, Oh god, the gun signature move muted and glum,
- 23:51Speaker 2: furrowed brows, sleepy glares.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's people don't want that.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Motive, motive structure. Wonder Woman protects civilians, save the world.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Other directed Supergirl the plot driver is saving her own dog.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Reviewers state that trafficked women are structurally incidental. The fact
- 24:14Speaker 2: that the brigands or human traffickers. Reads is more of
- 24:16Speaker 2: a plot contrivance, and she pursues the antidote, not the victims,
- 24:22Speaker 2: the antidote to her dog's illness. Male characters wonder Woman,
- 24:27Speaker 2: male co lead Trevor as an ally and love interests
- 24:30Speaker 2: who self sacrifice. Male soldiers fight alongside her. Supergirl, no
- 24:34Speaker 2: cooperative male co lead, principal male roles of the predator
- 24:37Speaker 2: Krem and an underdeveloped mercenary Lobo sticks out like a
- 24:41Speaker 2: sore thumb. According to the Memphis Flyer, stars on framing
- 24:44Speaker 2: not centered around a man, not centered around love at all,
- 24:48Speaker 2: and then men like, yeah, no, that.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Was important, that was important when they made the movie,
- 24:53Speaker 1: that romance.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I just wonder if maybe Jezebelt or not Jester Bell,
- 25:01Speaker 2: not Jezebel, do not do not quote Jezebel Jester Bell.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Have you watched Jester Bell. Yeah, she's been She's a
- 25:08Speaker 2: she's a YouTuber sort of up and comer who's been
- 25:12Speaker 2: calling this out, this kind of stuff out in Hollywood
- 25:14Speaker 2: and saying that she doesn't want to see an absence
- 25:18Speaker 2: of men and men being competent, and she's tired of
- 25:22Speaker 2: women taking over men's roles, and not having male love interests,
- 25:25Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera, And I wonder if she actually
- 25:29Speaker 2: represents more women than we might suspect. We're just getting
- 25:34Speaker 2: tired of this crap. Unfortunately, it's going to keep coming
- 25:39Speaker 2: as long as the men who seem to be drawn
- 25:41Speaker 2: to it keep going. Okay, So the moral resolution of
- 25:47Speaker 2: the arc Wonder Woman, Mercy, Arc Spars, Humanity, Supergirl dissuades
- 25:52Speaker 2: the child from killing Krem, then kills him herself with
- 25:55Speaker 2: the child's sword. Reviewers flag the kill in the added
- 26:00Speaker 2: sexual trafficking content as departures from source comment and where
- 26:05Speaker 2: Crem survives and the brigands or raiders not traffickers. But
- 26:08Speaker 2: that's a very odd like moral resolution. Dissuades the child
- 26:11Speaker 2: from killing Crem, then kills him herself with the child's sword.
- 26:15Speaker 2: How does that relate to the plot of saving her dog?
- 26:19Speaker 3: Like?
- 26:19Speaker 2: I mean, if you're gonna have your character's motive throughout
- 26:22Speaker 2: your entire story be be X and then at the
- 26:25Speaker 2: climax it's resolved with why then why did you have X? Like?
- 26:31Speaker 2: This seems to be a big writing problem. Let me
- 26:34Speaker 2: just put this in here. Is this not Is this
- 26:38Speaker 2: not bad writing? Having the resolution be separate from the
- 26:48Speaker 2: plot goal.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I have to read. I had to read some rumble
- 26:53Speaker 1: rants and stuff. So I got a rumble rant, I
- 26:55Speaker 1: got some super child's. Want to read them really quick
- 26:58Speaker 1: while you're doing that, and let me know when John
- 27:00Speaker 1: Jonathan looks like it's he set up because I'm in
- 27:01Speaker 1: the thing and I see he's online. Nova Fan twenty
- 27:04Speaker 1: one gives us a dollar and says, I like to
- 27:07Speaker 1: think the majority of men who saw it were content
- 27:09Speaker 1: creators on YouTube. Imagine how hilarious it would be if
- 27:12Speaker 1: all those men all coordinated with each other so only
- 27:15Speaker 1: a few of them saw it. Well, the purpose of
- 27:17Speaker 1: those guys going to see that stuff is technically to
- 27:23Speaker 1: basically as a as a warning to others that might
- 27:26Speaker 1: actually give money to this stuff.
- 27:27Speaker 2: So all right, and then I offer an alternative alternative hypothesis,
- 27:33Speaker 2: The men who went all did it to support women.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah that's probably I mean, women didn't show.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Up and the men got blamed anyway.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah, god damn well. All right, So super Chow from
- 27:49Speaker 1: the official reverse Traditionalism channel on YouTube reads for five dollars,
- 27:53Speaker 1: thank you daily reminder that men who want children never
- 27:56Speaker 1: have to trust women who refuse to move to relocate
- 27:59Speaker 1: to a fifty to fifty custody state. See you in Missouri. Okay,
- 28:05Speaker 1: thank you, A little off topic, but fine. Richard Bierre
- 28:09Speaker 1: gives us five and says, I heard someone mentioned that
- 28:12Speaker 1: in the movie that Supergirl actually visits a red sun
- 28:14Speaker 1: world so that her powers are limited or disabled, just
- 28:18Speaker 1: so that she can drink heavily and experience being intoxicated
- 28:21Speaker 1: for some reason. Yeah, they kind of threw that in
- 28:23Speaker 1: there at the end of the Superman movie as well,
- 28:25Speaker 1: where she shows up and says, because you know, like
- 28:28Speaker 1: Superman's the Kryptonians can only get powers from a yellow son,
- 28:32Speaker 1: and so a red son is like where Krypton was
- 28:35Speaker 1: like it was it was orbiting a red son. So
- 28:38Speaker 1: there they're just normal. So she goes to places where
- 28:41Speaker 1: there's a red sun so that she can get drunk
- 28:42Speaker 1: because she couldn't otherwise because she's a hot mess. And
- 28:45Speaker 1: that's the joke, guys that well, it's not a joke.
- 28:47Speaker 1: It's like, that's like character development. What Ruchian Viierre says, Yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Why is this such a new thing or not a
- 28:57Speaker 2: new thing? I guess it's been here since uh at
- 29:00Speaker 2: least Oh gosh, what was that? What was that?
- 29:04Speaker 3: DC?
- 29:04Speaker 2: It's not Daredevil, it's the Jessica Jones, right, oh.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Jessica Jones. Also yeah, yeah, I think I honestly,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I think it's just trying to tell sell this idea
- 29:20Speaker 1: to women that it's okay to be a hot mess, hedonistic, nihilistic, cynical,
- 29:26Speaker 1: you know, single girl boss or not if even in
- 29:29Speaker 1: a girl Boss you can at least be drunk. I
- 29:32Speaker 1: think that they're just promoting that stuff, and and some
- 29:35Speaker 1: women not all, but they're eating it up. You know.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I was just listening to somebody who basically embodied this
- 29:40Speaker 1: in her time as a pop star. I listened to, Uh,
- 29:43Speaker 1: anybody remember Kesha or like yeah, Kesha, the pop singer
- 29:49Speaker 1: girl from like the two thousands. She was like that.
- 29:53Speaker 1: She was like, Oh, I'm about go to the club
- 29:55Speaker 1: and getting drunk and you know, partying, I EA, being
- 30:00Speaker 1: with multiple dudes. That was like her whole brand, and
- 30:04Speaker 1: it was very popular and women, especially young women, they
- 30:07Speaker 1: loved it. So like, it's just more of that. It's
- 30:10Speaker 1: just like this hedonistic, you know, worldview that's being put
- 30:16Speaker 1: out there. So that's what I think. I got another
- 30:21Speaker 1: super Child from Richard Beierre for five, and he says,
- 30:24Speaker 1: sounds like Supergirl is a live action lesbian space princess
- 30:27Speaker 1: to these straight white maidens. Melians also dump a this
- 30:32Speaker 1: uh thespian into a vata vassid because someone misheard thespian
- 30:36Speaker 1: instead of lesbian. Oh, I don't know. I haven't seen
- 30:39Speaker 1: the movie. I'm not going to either, although I hear
- 30:42Speaker 1: that it's gonna be available for streaming like literally like
- 30:46Speaker 1: later this month, because it was it was such a
- 30:49Speaker 1: catastrophic failure. Zaras gives us five and says, so this
- 30:53Speaker 1: movie was so good you have to talk about it
- 30:55Speaker 1: while you game. Have a good show, guys. I'm off
- 30:57Speaker 1: to see Supergirl in Minecraft. Somebody probably made the movie
- 31:01Speaker 1: in my craft too, all right, thank you for all
- 31:05Speaker 1: I read all of the things. So yeah, going on,
- 31:10Speaker 1: what are we doing?
- 31:11Speaker 2: All right? So I'm i'm, I'm, I'm okay, I can
- 31:14Speaker 2: finish it off? What what I my my studies into this? Okay?
- 31:20Speaker 2: So register we're wonder Woman. Since your heroic heroism, romance subplot,
- 31:25Speaker 2: wartime rescue, Supergirl, revenge, western, true grit super structure for
- 31:31Speaker 2: multiple room, Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: What comparative to true grit, can you believe it?
- 31:38Speaker 2: Grief? No romance? Yeah, okay. Summary of the contrast, the
- 31:45Speaker 2: hit centers on another protective so aspirational your actual heroism
- 31:51Speaker 2: cross sex cooperative so actually a positive relationship between men
- 31:56Speaker 2: and women and also men who cooperate with each o
- 31:59Speaker 2: ortive and collaborative with each other, you know, the war
- 32:03Speaker 2: band of brothers. Sincere heroine the bomb centers is a
- 32:07Speaker 2: self directed, male, decoupled, apathetic one. The custodial content presents
- 32:15Speaker 2: it in World Woman U Wonder Woman is the content
- 32:18Speaker 2: removed from Supergirl. That's the other thing. If they're trying
- 32:20Speaker 2: to go for a Western or a noir kind of
- 32:23Speaker 2: feel with Supergirl, like all the men in those films
- 32:27Speaker 2: are struggling with heroism and duty and some kind of
- 32:35Speaker 2: aspirational like custodial, like they want to protect someone other
- 32:39Speaker 2: than themselves, and uh, that seems like it's abstinent and
- 32:44Speaker 2: Supergirl aside from her protecting a dog.
- 32:47Speaker 1: It's the dog. Yeah, it's the dog. The dog is
- 32:50Speaker 1: the stand in for another human being. Oh and then
- 32:53Speaker 1: there's the girl who hires her for the mission I guess,
- 32:56Speaker 1: or for this for this quest to say, Yeah, and
- 33:01Speaker 1: I also venge her family or whatever.
- 33:03Speaker 2: But I also asked Punished Squad if it was bad writing,
- 33:07Speaker 2: and it said yes. On the evidence in hand. It
- 33:10Speaker 2: is a goal climax mix mismatch, which is a craft defect.
- 33:14Speaker 2: What the structure does build pressure A the clock antidote
- 33:17Speaker 2: for Crypto in three days. This is the protagonist's actual
- 33:20Speaker 2: motivation throughout build built pressure. B. The argument Kara opposes
- 33:25Speaker 2: killing for the whole film, stopping Ruthi twice on the
- 33:29Speaker 2: stated ground that will harden her resolution. A is resolved
- 33:33Speaker 2: administratively anecdote retrieved after the fight. B is resolved by
- 33:37Speaker 2: the protagonists performing the act she argued against with a
- 33:40Speaker 2: child's sword immediately after winning the argument. Oh my god,
- 33:45Speaker 2: A climax should discharge the pressure's story built the pressure
- 33:48Speaker 2: A gets no climax. The climax instead inverts the protagonist's
- 33:52Speaker 2: argued position. So if Supergirl even accidentally takes the heroic
- 33:57Speaker 2: position of not taking a life, it inverts it at
- 33:59Speaker 2: the climate. For what reason? God only knows. It's bad writing,
- 34:04Speaker 2: so we can only assume that it's either gross and
- 34:08Speaker 2: competence or ideologically driven. But picket pick your poison, guys,
- 34:15Speaker 2: is our society grossly incompetent or is it ideologically driven?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Or maybe why not both?
- 34:20Speaker 1: Right?
- 34:21Speaker 2: An inversion like that can work as tragedy. The hero
- 34:25Speaker 2: takes the moral strains so the child stays clean, but
- 34:28Speaker 2: only if the film builds the temptation and registers the cost. Afterward,
- 34:32Speaker 2: the synopsis shows the opposite birthday celebration and homecoming immediately
- 34:36Speaker 2: follow no registered cost, and reviewers describe the film handling
- 34:40Speaker 2: its own dark material by brushing it aside as fast
- 34:42Speaker 2: as it raised it, which is the same fact defect
- 34:46Speaker 2: at the tonal level. Okay, so there you go, guys.
- 34:51Speaker 2: There's your choices behind door number two gross and competence,
- 34:56Speaker 2: behind door number two ideological motive, or we could go
- 35:01Speaker 2: for bonus door three, both at the same time. Okay, Yeah,
- 35:07Speaker 2: I think it's both.
- 35:09Speaker 1: All right. Go, get go, get hooked into the machine,
- 35:11Speaker 1: get in the get in the mech shingy, and I'm
- 35:15Speaker 1: going to send invitations to the others. But you gotta
- 35:20Speaker 1: like get your audio situation sorted as well, so.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I will do that, Okay.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Yeah, So while you're doing that, I'll just inform people
- 35:33Speaker 1: that the Supergirl film underperformed so much. First of all,
- 35:39Speaker 1: it got annihilated by these like tiny little YouTube YouTuber
- 35:44Speaker 1: movies obsession and the back rooms which basically had no
- 35:49Speaker 1: budget and Oh good, there you go. Are you in
- 35:53Speaker 1: there now? Okay, I'm gonna lower your volume so that
- 35:57Speaker 1: I can hear you you today. No, I'm gonna invite
- 36:00Speaker 1: the others. I just wanted to. Uh, I'm inviting people
- 36:04Speaker 1: right now. Okay, just the table and Gabriel Lindsay and
- 36:08Speaker 1: Gabriel is all I say. Oh see, I'm Norwegian. So
- 36:14Speaker 1: maybe maybe he's not around right now. The region he's
- 36:18Speaker 1: in like in another he's like far away. He's like
- 36:23Speaker 1: in the mountains. He's not online. Yeah he's but I'm
- 36:29Speaker 1: saying it's probably too late for him.
- 36:30Speaker 2: In her peace. Yeah, he's gonna, he's gonna upgrade his skills.
- 36:35Speaker 1: He's in Norway somewhere, so maybe he's fishing in od Yeah.
- 36:43Speaker 1: So this is level ten. O. Lindsay's muted. I don't
- 36:46Speaker 1: know why she's muted, but it's okay, this is level ten.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Table doesn't need to just.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Oh he from the other room.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry, let me close the door.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Yeah, Brian is quite loud. I think
- 37:03Speaker 2: it's it's because he's an American. They like to projects project.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Their voicing commanding Yeah, uh huh, commanding voice.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna send a message to a Norwegian.
- 37:27Speaker 3: He'll come.
- 37:27Speaker 4: He's fun.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Uh, well, you never know, you never know. Maybe, yeah, exactly,
- 37:41Speaker 2: I'll just try and give it a go, Like it's
- 37:43Speaker 2: what's the worst could happen?
- 37:45Speaker 5: Right?
- 37:45Speaker 2: He never speaks to us again, I doubt it, Like
- 37:50Speaker 2: I think he's probably you know, yeah, who knows. Okay,
- 37:55Speaker 2: shall we begin?
- 37:57Speaker 4: Uh?
- 37:59Speaker 1: I I thought that's okay. John Frostois says Millie Alcock
- 38:05Speaker 1: is shrouding her hot. Sometimes she's pretty. Sometimes she looks
- 38:08Speaker 1: like a twelve year old boy. Yeah, sometimes she lives
- 38:10Speaker 1: at the kid from Mad Max two Beyond Thunderdome. I
- 38:15Speaker 1: think it was in the or was that the first one?
- 38:17Speaker 1: I think it was probably lighting.
- 38:20Speaker 2: It's probably.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like effort that chick from Seinfeld.
- 38:24Speaker 2: That I swear to God, there's some real mean girls
- 38:27Speaker 2: in costuming and lighting in Hollywood now that are like,
- 38:31Speaker 2: I think I'm doing this. I'm destroying any possibility of
- 38:35Speaker 2: you being registered as beautiful, and I'm doing it for
- 38:38Speaker 2: your own good and for the sisterhood, because like a
- 38:44Speaker 2: lot of uh no offense, Like, uh, is there people
- 38:48Speaker 2: who look really good on film, But if you don't,
- 38:52Speaker 2: it's still if you're not lit properly and the costuming
- 38:56Speaker 2: is off and the makeup is off, they're still gonna
- 38:58Speaker 2: look like crap.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, But I don't think this is an accident.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I don't think this is mean girls trying to sabotage her.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I think that they were basically like, lately, all of
- 39:08Speaker 1: our modern media has been very much focused on trying to,
- 39:13Speaker 1: let's say, do anything they can to eliminate, erase, or
- 39:17Speaker 1: otherwise undermine the male gaze. So anything that men like,
- 39:21Speaker 1: they have to like try to make it like unattractive,
- 39:24Speaker 1: and then they they cope around it by saying, oh, no,
- 39:28Speaker 1: this is women. Women are natural. We have flaws, we
- 39:31Speaker 1: got you know, we got wrinkles, we have bags in
- 39:34Speaker 1: our eyes, sometimes we have cellulite, and these are beautiful
- 39:37Speaker 1: and normal things. Look at all of this advertising for
- 39:41Speaker 1: like soaps and like shampoos that feature like fat women,
- 39:44Speaker 1: and they're like, I'm gonna show I'm gonna wash all
- 39:47Speaker 1: these curves and this is natural and you have to
- 39:50Speaker 1: love it, and so like that's become normalized and over
- 39:53Speaker 1: the past decade or so, and so now it's getting
- 39:56Speaker 1: into the movies where it's like the women are like,
- 39:58Speaker 1: they're like, uh, don't brush your hair, don't put makeup.
- 40:00Speaker 1: That's that's for the men. You don't need to do that.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Just look like your natural self. And in interviews Millie
- 40:07Speaker 1: Alcock has said she's like, it's okay for women to
- 40:10Speaker 1: be messy and like, you know, unkempt and not shower
- 40:14Speaker 1: and whatever. I don't know if she said that, but
- 40:16Speaker 1: and in the movie she's vomiting and she's peeing on
- 40:19Speaker 1: you know, on camera. It's all to do that. Do
- 40:22Speaker 1: you remember they did the same thing with fucking Harley
- 40:25Speaker 1: Quinn and that in that uh nuts, the Birds of Prey.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I think the whole thing was Harley Quinn had to
- 40:32Speaker 1: get away from the the sort of like sexy version
- 40:36Speaker 1: and get into something that is supposed to scare men
- 40:40Speaker 1: and and like see like basically the goal is to
- 40:43Speaker 1: you're supposed to see them as human, fully humid, with
- 40:46Speaker 1: all their flaws and everything and that and that's what
- 40:49Speaker 1: it was.
- 40:49Speaker 4: I think that.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I think Millie Alcock can be pretty if she wants to.
- 40:53Speaker 1: But they just were like, no, you're not gonna be
- 40:55Speaker 1: pretty because men might like that. So just looked like
- 40:58Speaker 1: a hot mess.
- 40:59Speaker 2: So in order to be seen as human, you have
- 41:03Speaker 2: to take a dump in front of people, smell like
- 41:11Speaker 2: the sledge underneath a brick infrigerator and just you know,
- 41:16Speaker 2: like just just screech and throw shit. And that's the
- 41:19Speaker 2: only way to be seen as human. Like what, right?
- 41:23Speaker 2: What's okay? What is this? What is this rank insanity?
- 41:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 41:32Speaker 2: Like seriously, if a man did this, he would be
- 41:35Speaker 2: arrested if.
- 41:37Speaker 3: You can arrest.
- 41:39Speaker 2: He was not gonna be seen as human. He's gonna
- 41:41Speaker 2: be seen as somebody who should be in jail or
- 41:43Speaker 2: possibly in a padded room. So they want to be
- 41:46Speaker 2: able to act like a monkey on math, right, and
- 41:54Speaker 2: and be seen as human. What the hell is this? Like?
- 41:57Speaker 2: What is this aspiration here? I mean, I don't even
- 41:59Speaker 2: want to call it aspirational. What is this expectation? This entitlement?
- 42:04Speaker 2: I should I should be able to act like a
- 42:07Speaker 2: complete deranged baboon and you should still give me respect. No,
- 42:15Speaker 2: you should be treated like a deranged baboon because you
- 42:18Speaker 2: are one. Yeah, because this kind of privileging of the
- 42:24Speaker 2: complete disregulated and I want to point out that if
- 42:27Speaker 2: this is like the if they're gonna say that men
- 42:29Speaker 2: in like I don't know, Westerns and noir are disregulated. No,
- 42:34Speaker 2: that this is not the same. They're disregulated because usually
- 42:38Speaker 2: because they failed to protect something or some other kind
- 42:43Speaker 2: of tragedy in their past. They're not just dysregulated. What
- 42:46Speaker 2: what reason does Supergirl have to be I guess the
- 42:50Speaker 2: end of her species. But yeah, that's that's that's I
- 42:52Speaker 2: guess reasonable. But look at her cousin, he's managing to
- 42:55Speaker 2: keep it together. Are they trying to say that women
- 42:57Speaker 2: should still be held to a lower standard as men
- 43:01Speaker 2: or has uh?
- 43:03Speaker 1: I think that the movie, the people making these movies
- 43:07Speaker 1: there their logic is that Supergirl is more realistic and
- 43:14Speaker 1: Superman is naive, so her so her cynesis is why
- 43:18Speaker 1: I said it's ultimately cynicism and nihilism because and that's
- 43:22Speaker 1: not it's it's presented as the truth. That's why it's
- 43:24Speaker 1: called I think it's like he sees there's a line
- 43:27Speaker 1: in the movie where she says he sees the good
- 43:29Speaker 1: and everyone I see the truth. That's like the line,
- 43:33Speaker 1: So like this is an endemic of the whole, it's
- 43:36Speaker 1: the deconstruction of heroism itself of virtue. Right, this is
- 43:41Speaker 1: more than just like I don't know, like like girl
- 43:47Speaker 1: power stuff or whatever. And it's also but it is
- 43:50Speaker 1: those things. It's also made suppression. It's like giving women,
- 43:53Speaker 1: you know, intentionally bad advice so that they like sabotage
- 43:57Speaker 1: themselves and other women delight in doing. In fact, the
- 44:01Speaker 1: screenplay was written by someone who had never written a
- 44:04Speaker 1: movie other than like one short film that nobody watched.
- 44:07Speaker 1: It was like a student film basically. But she was
- 44:10Speaker 1: a woman, so she got the job.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Wow, well there you go. There's where the gross incompetence
- 44:18Speaker 2: in writing comes from.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Wow, okay, Well it looks a woman wrote it and
- 44:22Speaker 2: it looked and it uh and it and it plays
- 44:25Speaker 2: like it. It plays like it just like a woman's
- 44:28Speaker 2: flying this plane and it's flying like it. This movie
- 44:32Speaker 2: was written by a woman, and it plays like it. Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 2: what is it? You know, like planes fly? What do
- 44:39Speaker 2: movies do?
- 44:40Speaker 4: Move?
- 44:40Speaker 2: It moves like a movie like whatever? What is the
- 44:44Speaker 2: what is the at the verb for a movie? Planes
- 44:47Speaker 2: fly like cars drive? Play? Yeah? Yeah they play okay,
- 44:54Speaker 2: so plays like it. Yeah, this woman, this this movie
- 44:58Speaker 2: was written by a woman in the movie play like it.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I mean yeah, I mean like film is probably the
- 45:03Speaker 1: better word. Movie sounds like talkie but films, so it's
- 45:09Speaker 1: a film.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Yeah, the plot suffers for it. H and I I
- 45:15Speaker 2: just say I'm saying that uncritically now because the whole
- 45:20Speaker 2: she's a woman, let her do it thing has gotten
- 45:22Speaker 2: so bad that women being a woman is basically a
- 45:28Speaker 2: pre uh pre acceptance into anything, which means that they're
- 45:37Speaker 2: likely screwing it up, which she did. Okay, I'm also
- 45:40Speaker 2: screwing this up. Let's get this started, all.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Right, I'm gonna start here. Let me just read I
- 45:44Speaker 1: got a couple more super childs and then we'll start. Okay,
- 45:47Speaker 1: So Albatross gave us five, Thank you Albatross, yep, and
- 45:51Speaker 1: Zapierre gaves us fifty and says Supergirl was a chain
- 45:54Speaker 1: of and then coincidences to make the plot happen. No
- 45:59Speaker 1: one wants to twenty five year old jaded bitch. Yeah,
- 46:02Speaker 1: so he's saying it was the it was written as
- 46:04Speaker 1: and then this happens, and then this happens, and then
- 46:06Speaker 1: this happens, which is like probably one of the worst
- 46:09Speaker 1: ways to write anything that's like a child.
- 46:12Speaker 2: But anyway, it's not a plot because nothing is built
- 46:17Speaker 2: to but the But okay, so it sounds like based
- 46:21Speaker 2: on that super Chow that it's like, it's very cynical,
- 46:27Speaker 2: but it it's a cynicism that isn't about her not
- 46:31Speaker 2: living up to something. It's about her being betrayed or
- 46:36Speaker 2: being a victim of things. Yeah, actually victimhood betrayal is
- 46:39Speaker 2: sort of reasonable. But so she's a victim and that's
- 46:42Speaker 2: why she's cynical. Whereas with the male characters that she's
- 46:45Speaker 2: probably they're probably saying, oh well, men, get away with it.
- 46:48Speaker 2: They're cynical because they failed a standard that they hold
- 46:51Speaker 2: themselves to.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Usually some of this stuff and grab whatever. I guess.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Oh my god, you guys are evolving into something else.
- 47:03Speaker 2: It's just concerting, Like I'm I'm just standing still and
- 47:07Speaker 2: you guys are becoming more Okay, do I take something?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Do I take this? Can I take this?
- 47:14Speaker 1: Grab? Grab? Grab one of those? Yeah, use it, grab
- 47:17Speaker 1: and use it. Allison, you only got one health, don't you?
- 47:22Speaker 1: How's your health?
- 47:23Speaker 2: Yeah? I still I still have this stupid thing where
- 47:26Speaker 2: I crouch when I Okay, So I think.
- 47:29Speaker 1: He's still trying to figure this out. This use this.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Well, I've gone through like three different Yeah, but you
- 47:37Speaker 2: gotta get what are you asking me.
- 47:44Speaker 4: What upgrades you have?
- 47:46Speaker 1: He wants to know what up I have?
- 47:49Speaker 2: I uh four?
- 47:52Speaker 1: All right, now let it go. It's fine.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Well there's another one I won't touch that.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Don't touch that one strength. Okay, go ahead, and you
- 48:03Speaker 1: take whatever. I'm not gonna grab anything. This this one is.
- 48:06Speaker 1: This one's modeed, so like we're gonna probably get some
- 48:12Speaker 1: We're gonna probably get some changes. So people put through
- 48:14Speaker 1: a couple of things. I'm gonna go ahead and like
- 48:16Speaker 1: add some effects. Right now, nobody asks for any So
- 48:20Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna hand out a
- 48:22Speaker 1: random bonus to someone. This is like a random player.
- 48:29Speaker 1: So we're gonna we're gonna upgrade the range on a
- 48:33Speaker 1: random person. I don't know who got it. And we're
- 48:36Speaker 1: gonna upgrade health on a random person. And we're gonna
- 48:38Speaker 1: upgrade jump on a random person. Okay, do you want
- 48:45Speaker 1: me to do something? Tell us? Oh, Alison, are you
- 48:50Speaker 1: in trouble? No, this thing's coming for me. But I wasn't.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I wasn't.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Attention. It's all right, it's I have moved anywhere. What
- 49:01Speaker 2: I do.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Now, there's a there's an let's bring her in here.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Let's bring her in here. Yes, I have there.
- 49:15Speaker 2: We go all right, So is there anything else I
- 49:19Speaker 2: should upgrade?
- 49:20Speaker 6: Or do you?
- 49:20Speaker 2: Guys? Saw?
- 49:22Speaker 1: I think we're good. You caught it good? Okay, Uh yeah,
- 49:32Speaker 1: we're good. We're good. We're just uh had to deal
- 49:34Speaker 1: with something Darkiki Morra says Devil's advocate for five dollars.
- 49:38Speaker 1: What is the difference between soap commercials with fat women
- 49:41Speaker 1: and the Chris Farley Chippendale sketch from Saturday Night Live?
- 49:44Speaker 1: Because I can feel a difference, but I don't know
- 49:46Speaker 1: how to articulate it. Well, one of them is meant
- 49:48Speaker 1: to be the butt of a joke and the other
- 49:49Speaker 1: one is meant to be empowering. That's the that's the difference.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Is that not obvious to you? Yeah? One is like uh,
- 49:58Speaker 1: you know, I'm what help him? We have one? Oh yeah, sure,
- 50:12Speaker 1: I'll just take this then put it in my inventory.
- 50:15Speaker 1: It's all good, all right, all right? You want me
- 50:20Speaker 1: to grab these things over here. There's a few things
- 50:22Speaker 1: over here. Oh, I have this cart. I was gonna
- 50:26Speaker 1: use it. You want the indestructible drone for the blender. Sure,
- 50:36Speaker 1: Oh okay, go ahead?
- 50:43Speaker 4: Is that.
- 50:46Speaker 6: No?
- 50:46Speaker 1: Oh shit, we lost one of the carts. Sorry about that.
- 50:52Speaker 1: It fell, It just fell, it fell.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Oh sorry, I mean I brought it there, so maybe
- 50:57Speaker 2: it was my fault.
- 50:58Speaker 1: No, I I it's just I made a mistake. It's
- 51:01Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Really, Oh I see.
- 51:09Speaker 1: But yeah, there's a difference between down there. Yeah it felt. No,
- 51:12Speaker 1: don't go down there. No, no, don't don't do it else.
- 51:15Speaker 1: You have a lot to live for. Don't do it.
- 51:19Speaker 1: It's just like, come or follow me. I made the mistake,
- 51:23Speaker 1: but I think we can. We can still make up
- 51:26Speaker 1: for it. Put it right in here and put it
- 51:27Speaker 1: in here.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Hello, stuff, leave, there's big stuff. Leader who lost?
- 51:37Speaker 2: Okay, give me that?
- 51:39Speaker 1: Give me that glass thing? What?
- 51:42Speaker 2: Well, maybe we should uh after this, we'll read some
- 51:46Speaker 2: of the article because we didn't really read any of it.
- 51:48Speaker 2: We just discussed it. The concept of blaming men for
- 51:53Speaker 2: a movie that they saw and women didn't.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Yeah, what about it?
- 51:58Speaker 2: What are men supposed to do? Like, seriously, in this circumstance.
- 52:05Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything men can do. I think
- 52:08Speaker 1: women just complain. Okay, I'm gonna put this on here.
- 52:11Speaker 1: We're gonna do it or no? What do you think?
- 52:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but this woman is complaining about what women did
- 52:15Speaker 2: and blaming the men. This is like, this is this
- 52:21Speaker 2: is a new level of insanity. Can I crouch and
- 52:25Speaker 2: get under this?
- 52:26Speaker 1: Maybe I'm not with you, so I don't know if
- 52:28Speaker 1: you're okay?
- 52:31Speaker 2: Oh i'd have to jump to get over this.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Should I try?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Oh? You got that? Okay? I don't know where you are, Allison?
- 52:39Speaker 1: Are you?
- 52:40Speaker 3: Oh?
- 52:40Speaker 1: There you are? Come on, we're gonna we're gonna go
- 52:45Speaker 1: this way.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Okay, I'll put you down.
- 52:51Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 52:52Speaker 2: I hurt myself. Oh I see did you take? Yeah,
- 52:56Speaker 2: I can damage. I tried to up over a laser
- 53:02Speaker 2: and you hurt yourself, Yes, I did. I timed it wrong.
- 53:09Speaker 1: For me in first person is ridiculous. That's all I'll
- 53:14Speaker 1: say about that. Okay, let's go this way. We're walking
- 53:20Speaker 1: this way. We have four extractions.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Oh, hey, there's a watch.
- 53:27Speaker 1: When you touch that, Okay, I'll show you. I'll show
- 53:31Speaker 1: you what I'll do.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Oh the time is the time thing?
- 53:36Speaker 1: No, it's not. It's it's a hypno. It's a hypno
- 53:39Speaker 1: gumball machine, just like everything's got. Well, what it does
- 53:46Speaker 1: is it forces you to look at it, so you
- 53:48Speaker 1: could like accidentally like walk into a pit or something
- 53:51Speaker 1: if you're not careful. So yeah, that could be crazy.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Hey can I get this hypno gumball thing over here.
- 54:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna go up these stairs.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Put some things down. Oh, we can just put some
- 54:05Speaker 1: things down. The extractions are right there.
- 54:08Speaker 4: There's nothing in the uptairs in this room.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Okay, what's what's up here?
- 54:13Speaker 2: There's nothing nothing?
- 54:16Speaker 1: Yeah, oh no, there's a couple of things up here.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Oh there, I got this. I got this. Yeah, let me,
- 54:22Speaker 1: let me. I'll bring this thing. This is a this
- 54:25Speaker 1: is a cosmetic item. Cool more cosmetics.
- 54:33Speaker 2: There's a pit there, the boy, Yeah.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Don't walk into that. See you're getting better already. Before
- 54:39Speaker 1: you know it, Alice, we're going to be speed running
- 54:41Speaker 1: to level nine. All right, I got I got this. Wait, babe,
- 54:46Speaker 1: I got this.
- 54:49Speaker 3: I'm not doing it.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Okay, I'm just emptying this out.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Can I give you this? Wait? Wait? Wait I put it?
- 55:01Speaker 1: Put it? Put it back? I can't. Yeah, here, take
- 55:07Speaker 1: this first, and then pass me.
- 55:08Speaker 3: That I don't have I don't have enough brain.
- 55:11Speaker 1: How about now? Okay?
- 55:14Speaker 2: All right, ah, okay, I got this weird hand should
- 55:18Speaker 2: I touch it?
- 55:19Speaker 1: Uh? Yeah, you can touch it. Okay, I got this. Okay,
- 55:24Speaker 1: hold on, I'm gonna bring it over there. Can you
- 55:27Speaker 1: pick it up? It's heavy, it's made out of metal,
- 55:29Speaker 1: so all right, okay, drop it, let it go. We
- 55:36Speaker 1: gotta do something. My controls really well, you're crouching when
- 55:41Speaker 1: you're letting things go, which means that it's like something
- 55:44Speaker 1: is serving a dual purpose.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I've tried to get rid of that. I could
- 55:50Speaker 2: try again.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Well, there's something up here. There's something. Oh, oh my god,
- 55:55Speaker 1: out hey, I got it. I got I'll take it
- 55:59Speaker 1: up there, all.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Right, how do I freaking?
- 56:06Speaker 2: Oh? There we go. I hear something?
- 56:14Speaker 3: Ship?
- 56:16Speaker 1: What do you hear? I'm not over there. Welcome to
- 56:21Speaker 1: seed meg Oh the animal? Hold on, child.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Ship, I'm not moving, I got I am just gonna.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Stay still, clean up, croup.
- 56:43Speaker 2: I'm trying to find this extra crouch. Why do I
- 56:45Speaker 2: have an extra crouch?
- 56:47Speaker 1: Let's stop.
- 56:47Speaker 4: Stop, Holy ship.
- 56:50Speaker 2: It sounds like a bunch of Shenanigans out there.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Are you looking? You're like looking at something else?
- 56:58Speaker 2: Oh my god, I can hear.
- 57:00Speaker 3: I can.
- 57:04Speaker 2: If you're Gabriel at the slaughter.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, crouched there?
- 57:21Speaker 1: Are you okay, Alison?
- 57:23Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
- 57:26Speaker 1: You put her, moved her somewhere, throw throw him in there.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I can't. I've been able to do it before.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Yeah, for some reason, like I don't know why it
- 57:43Speaker 2: does this, but it.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Or you're pushing more than one. But oh ship hidden hidden, dude,
- 57:54Speaker 1: it's crazy over here. There's lots of enemies.
- 58:11Speaker 2: His mouse left, okay, okay, for some reason, it's some.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Okay, can you give it to you? Read ship?
- 58:31Speaker 2: I've emerged.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Okay, you're good.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Oh, I see something.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Thanks, glad to be here. Only if someone knows it's
- 58:40Speaker 1: an ee O C violation. What.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been grabbed.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I've been grabbed. I saved you. I saved you. It's okay,
- 58:52Speaker 1: you're fine. Damn where.
- 59:00Speaker 4: If she did?
- 59:02Speaker 2: There's something here?
- 59:06Speaker 1: I know I see that there's three. I just don't.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I don't know where Lindsay's head is at.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 59:12Speaker 1: I hear her. I hear her. Are you over here?
- 59:22Speaker 1: I hear her talking. I don't see her around. I
- 59:31Speaker 1: think maybe he got killed by the UH cleanup cruise head?
- 59:34Speaker 1: Is that what happened? I'll see when Lindsay. I think
- 59:39Speaker 1: Lindsay died.
- 59:39Speaker 2: She was killed, Gabriel, I don't know.
- 59:43Speaker 1: I'm oh, okay, okay, I hear you, I hear you.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Oh what happened?
- 59:57Speaker 2: Okay, Gabriel, when you stay over there, I have have
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: no freaking clue what you're talking about to just.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all right, welcome to my world. I'm gonna
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: take this.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: Up machine, but I don't have any rage. I had
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: to jump up there, and.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: She's out of batteries. I'm gonna extract with this stuff.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I'll get the other gumball machine, the one that killed you.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: She run, keep running.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: It's okay, Alison, be careful. There's a pit right there.

- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Huh already? Are we not going this way? No, this
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: is a dead end. We should grab all this stuff.

- 1:12:32Speaker 1: want to break it. All right, let's go. We gotta
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: do this together. We gotta do this together because it's
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: gonna set the thing off when I get down here.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I got a lot of stuff, which I guess is good.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Oh Alison, you're back if you know that. But I coming. Yeah,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I brought you back.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: What was that?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: What you bring it back? When you because? Well, we
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: got a super chow and I hit. I hit a

- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Oh, and I have full health too.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I gotta what wows? Sorry? Sorry, sorry, get out of here.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I'm so.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: Mad.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Okay are you being yelled at by Gabriel?
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Like, yeah, ok, I'm I'm full life again. Wow, how'd
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: that happen?
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Albatross sent a h I'm coming downstairs. Well just be careful.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, oh that's sweet. All right, you gave life to
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: the most useless member of the team. Congratulations Albatross. M
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: here there's a pit. Maybe I should fall in it. No, no, no, no,
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: don't you now. I'm the Now, I am the custodian
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: of Albatross's generosity. I can't randomly kill myself for no reason. Okay,
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: I have no idea where I am, but I am
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: walking up these stairs anyway.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: All right, how are you, babe?
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Here's something.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: Going on.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I don't know you were like colliding with the How
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: is this?
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: How does this the physics of this realm? Like I
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: just walked up an extended staircase and now I'm in like, uh, oh.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: What happened?
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: No?
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: I just saw something walk past.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Oh it's the lumer it's back again. Shoul you throw
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: her in the pit.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Do you think people are spawning? Like uh, enemies or something? Ah?
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Ship a ship, ship ship a ship. I'm running. I'm running.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Looks like the cleanup cruise head explosion killed the tick.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Oh fuck, I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Where are you just hop Yeah, let's let's unlock the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: last one. Let's get out of here.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: I just got killed again. I got killed again.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I don't know where you are.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Albatross last snatched. I feel like this is
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: an unusual number of enemies.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Oh I'm dead.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: I feel it. But Brian, I feel like it was
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: a lot more.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Than it could It could be. It could be random
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: enemies are spawning in.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Uh I just died like there was a slasher thing
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: in a dress and it slashed me. Oh wait, I'm
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: alive again. Who did that?
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Zapier or darky Ymora says for ten dollars, I heard
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Alison say she can't eat eggs once. What other foods
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: can't she eat? I became a vegetarian when my body
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: stopped being able to process meat. And then we got
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: one from an anonymous person that just says, Alison, no
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: sellas in sealasten sealasen florescin. We need wallace in. That
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: is like you know that you need to be like
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: inside the geometry somehow.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Yes, Oh I'm bad, she deliberately.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: I'm right here, Okay, okay, my goodness. It's because we're
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: like on level ten too. It doesn't help.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Alice is gonna die again.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: Oh my god. No. There was this thing and it
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: had like arms and it was shaking, and it was
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: coming towards me. The arms.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: What sounds like the loomer Else, the loom is what
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: it's called. All right, where are you? Where are you? Allison?
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Where are you?
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: I went up the stairs.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there's stairs all over the place in here. We're leaving, so.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: There's a red red square.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Okay, where we're we're about to end it like he's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: got to find you. Oh you got yoinked? I heard it?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Did you? Did you get attacked by the shadow child?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: It looks like a big Oh there you are. Come on,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: stay with me. We're going this way. This is the
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: way out. Remember press the tab key. Look at the map.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: It's like a crucial tool. Then we got enough stuff.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Why is your mouth moving? I can't hear you because
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I think you accidentally. No, she's right here, dude, real team,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: real team player, jesus. Okay, this is the way. This
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: is the way out right here, Alison, come on, I
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: gotta move you. That's all right, whatever, it's fine. I'm
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna move her back in here. It was because
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: she got she got kicked out of the discord, so
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I can't hear her talking. Okay, him over where I'm at?
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: And where are you are you with? Yeah? Where's where's Allison?
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Is she not with you? Yeah? Come on? Hey, we
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: did it all right, got the lumer on me.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: I think a bunch of people might despawn enemies maybe,
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: And I was revived twice for no apparent reason.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe it got a little hairy in there towards
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: the end.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a knick on me.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: It's bullshit.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: I tried to do something about it, but I was
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: useless partly. Okay, so we should we should read some
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: of that article, I think, right, Yeah, well I'll read
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: some yourself. Get on a podium here.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna turn this on so we don't get too
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: much shenanig. No, I'm not gonna do that. It's gonna
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: get people killed, all right.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: So the.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: So, okay, we'll go where's the basement.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Okay, I'm supposed to go in the basement.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: We're supposed to We're supposed to go in the basement.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: It's right here, alright, Go downstairs.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Okay, why do we have to go in the basement.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I don't know, it's just what he what he wants.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because we're basement in cells.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Okay yeah, sure, all right, so all the article?
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Should I crouch?
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: No, you can just stay there. Why men want this
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: movie to fail so badly? Men have always had a
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: problem with movies where a woman is the main character.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Not true, right off the bat first sentence. Men have
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: always Yeah, I hated Terminator and Aliens because they had
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: women in it. Oh god, pooh pooh. Those movies are terrible.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: They mock these films, they insult the actresses, and they
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: spend all their time online telling everyone that nobody wants
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: to watch them. The hate is even worse when the
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: woman is a superhero, because there is nothing these men
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: hate more than watching a woman be strong, be the
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: strong and independent, be the strong and independent. What's that's
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a terrible sentence? Someone who can take care of herself
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: and protect others, but she doesn't protect never mind, never
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: mind whatever. Their latest target is the new Supergirl movie
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: and the woman who leads it, Millie Alcock. What an
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: unfortunate name. By the way, the I want all of
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it The movie had barely been out a day before
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: these men were all over social media celebrating its weak
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: box office numbers. Some of them or none of them
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: actually cared about the movie doing badly. They just saw
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: it as another way to prove their point that female
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: superhero movies fail and that nobody wants to watch them.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Uh do you want to say anything that those two
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: paragraphs right there before? I keep going?
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: Or I think that I think that the general attitude
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: is that at least among the contrarians, is they don't
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: want to watch They're done with superhero movies period. But okay,
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: let's go with this line.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Yeah all right, yeah, gone, okay, So why the manisphere
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: hates Supergirls? So now we're talking about the manisphere. So
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: first we're talking about a movie. Now we're talking about
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: the manisphere on June.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: I'd also like to point out that we were talking
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: about men. She's saying men. Uh huh so.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Equals men?
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Well, yeah, a manisphere equals a man who has an
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: opinion on anything, on you know, anything really even on himself. Like,
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: if men have an opinion, they're part of a manisphere,
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: part of the manisphere, ye id the like, really this
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: is not obvious by now. In order to be a
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: member of the manisphere, you just have to have a
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: man who has an opinion on anything.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: And amount of reach.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: No, actually no, if you just have an opinion and
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: you put a comment on something, no matter what the
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: opinion is, if you are a man with an opinion,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: you are a part of the manisphere at this point,
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: even if it's an opinion where you're supporting feminism, because
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: then you're part of like the feminist manisphere and you
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: think you should get head pats for supporting feminism. But no,
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: what you get as a man supporting feminism because you're
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: a man with an opinion, still part of the manisphere,
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: and you get a kick in the head, right yep.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: And the difference is that if you're part of a
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: man who's in the feminist manosphere, you don't get to
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: you don't get to attempt to evade being kicked in
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: the head. If you're part of the like the manisphere
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: that isn't also feminist men having an opinion on something,
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: you can you don't have to take the kick. That's
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: the difference. There. You go, Yeah, I don't know, keep going.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Why the manisphere hates Supergirl on June twenty sixth, twenty
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: twenty six. You guys do your costume part. It's there.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: You guys have one. On June twenty six, twenty twenty six,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: the New Supergirl Movies was released, and it opened to
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: thirty eight million dollars in America and sixty eight million
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: dollars worldwide. That was a week's start for a film
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: that costs one hundred and seventy million dollars to make
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and one hundred and twenty million more to market. So
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: basically like three hundred over no, yeah, nearly three three
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: hundred million dollars to make this movie. That forty million
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: maybe no, actually total it's gonna make like one hundred million.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I think those are pretty bad numbers for a superhero
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: movie of this size. And the film is now expected
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to lose money. No, it's it's totally losing money, guys,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: it's totally losing money. For any other movie, this would
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: have been a business story that nobody outside Hollywood cared about.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: But because a woman was in the lead, the manisphere
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: used it as to use it to say what they
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: always say, that women are weak and that nobody wants
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: a female superhero because she isn't attractive enough for them,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: such a lie dude. So sad, you know, it was
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: destroyed by the back rooms. It was destroyed by Obsession,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: which is also a film that I think stars. I
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: think there's a female lead in that one, but I
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: never saw it. Obsession, and it's also a feminist movie too.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Don't get it twisted. I know that that's what that
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: ultimately was. I even have like a medium article about
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: that movie, Obsession, and it underperformed compared to Toy Story five.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: It was, it underperformed compared to Citizen Vigilante, which was
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: also made. I think Citizen Vigilante was made on like
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: less than a million dollars. I think it was like
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: less than a million, like you a bowl and like
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Armie Hammer. That that canceled actor that played the main
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: character in Citizen Vigilante, by the way, canceled during the
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: me Too movement. By the way, again, canceled because they
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: claimed that he he was pro cannibalism because he was
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: sending like a jokey text message to a woman that
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: he was like, you know, flirting with, and was talking
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: about like how he would be a cannibal for her.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: You know, you know if you know, you know, and
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: he couldn't get work anymore after that, and Yuvea Bowl
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: sent somebody to him and said, come on and like,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: I want to make a movie with you. And he
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: made this movie. And he made it for less than
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: a million bucks and it's number one, or at least
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: it's in the top five on Amazon. Like everyone's watching it.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: And it's not even a good movie, Citizen Vigilante, that is,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: it's not even a technically good movie, but it's saying
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: something that so many people resonate with that they're supporting
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: it anyway. But anyway, so, yeah, Supergirl wasn't it. To
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: say that it didn't do well is an understatement, but anyway.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: Matt Walsh posted that nobody cares about or watches these
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: female superhero movies, that there has been maybe one or
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: two that didn't flop this century, and that female led
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: action films are almost always a dud. Tim Poole, the
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: self appointed voice of the American People, posted that they
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: do not want woke and that Hollywood to stop trying
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: to make women into men. Interesting. Matt Walsh and Tim
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: Poole are both Manisphere now. And then Andrew Tate had
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: to take his part, like he always does when women
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: are involved, he sarcastically posted that he struggles to sleep
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: at night because the A four pretended to have superpowers
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: in Australia. A four pretended to have superpowers in Australia.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: So he was mocking Millie Alcock's looks, which is genuinely
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: funny coming from a man who does the most embarrassing
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: things imaginable online just to stay relevant. Next part, their
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: masculinity could not handle strong women. That's this is like
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: the go to, isn't it Like, Oh, it's because you're
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: not man enough for women. You're not man enough guys
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: to have an opinion on something is wrong, because you're
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: not allowed to have one because you're not man enough.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: To have it. I guess I thought men were allowed
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: to be fragile.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Now no, no, no, no, Only certain men are allowed
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: to be to be emotional or vulnerable. Only certain men. Yeah,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Tim Poole, Timpole is the Grand Puba of the manosphere. Yeah,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: the most based guy to ever exist is Timpoole. Yeah. Sure,
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: it's It's like, it doesn't matter what kind of man
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: you are anyway, you're gonna get attacked by these people. Regardless, Like,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: it doesn't matter if you're one of them. Like, even
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: the men who went to see this movie and supported
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: it are probably gonna get, you know, uh, insulted in
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: some way or or seen some way.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: So technically I did insult them, you.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: Did, But I'm saying like even the feminists would. Yeah.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: So like even Obsession, which is a film in a
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: way that depicts like a kind of misogyny, is still
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: being seen as misogynistic by these people. So there's no
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: there's no you can't win. Just don't bother, don't play
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: the game, you know, Okay, Their masculinity could not handle
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: strong women. These were the These were only some of
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: the so called famous names the Manisphere. You can't the wait,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: Timpoole and Matt Walsh are are Manisphere, and thousands of
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: other men were posting just as much shit and abuse.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: But the strange part is that if you actually read
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: their posts, none of them were talking about the movie,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: not the story, not the acting, not one detail from
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: the actual film. Their hate had nothing to do with
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: whether the film was good or bad. What really bothered
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: them is that Supergirl is about a woman who is
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: strong on her own, who does not need a man
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: to save or protect her. That's let me look at
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: their comments.
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: Wait wait wait wait a second, wait wait wait, wait
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: a second. I think that this premise is incorrect on
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: its terms. Yeah, because what Superman, from what I'm getting
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: from the various sources is that Supergirl is.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Mouth And why aren't you mouth flapping?
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Oh? How am my mouth flapping?
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: Now? Yeah you're not? Yeah you are? Now?
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: Okay, Supergirl is a disregulated, drunken mess, a cynical shell.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: And where are you getting this idea that she is
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: she's strong without a man? Sounds like she can't cope.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Like I said originally, I said before that her cousin
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: seems to be doing okay, mm hmm, well he's coping
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: better he started, he's got a job, he's not a
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: drunken fool. He's got a partner of some description. Right,
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: So what what what are you talking about? The Supergirl
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: shows that women could be strong without men. Being a
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: disregulated mess is not strong? Right?
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I know I'll look.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: Strong.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I'm I'm willing to bet that the
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: woman who wrote this article did not did not watch
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: the movie. I bet she didn't. So yeah, I mean, basically,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: I think that the movie came out and it flopped,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: and then after that some people online were like, well,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: here's here's probably why has happened, and it likely had
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: a lot to do with Yeah, some of it is
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: probably because it was a female lead and they if
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: the writing was on the wall, you were like, Okay,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: this is I already know what this is going to
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: be because we already know what kind of I don't
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: know how to put it, like, but what kind of
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: and what kind of culture the culture of show business
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: is right now, especially when it comes to women. So yeah,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: I know, no surprise that it was bad, because I mean,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: you can make that prediction that's probably what it's going
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: to be.
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: So yeah, but I want to emphasize the fact that
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: it wasn't men who made this fail, who refused to
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: go to it. It was women. It was it was
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: it was women's Categorically, the reason why this is failing
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: is because women don't want to see it. So you
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: can write as many screeds directing your ire at men
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: as you like, but the facts remain the facts. Women
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: didn't see this and that's why it's bombing.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: It's already dead.
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: Basically, Yeah, that's bombed.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it bombed hard. A woman with power is
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: the one thing their ego cannot handle. These are men
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: who built their whole identity around the idea that men
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: are strong and women are weak. So a woman on
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: screen fighting off the bad guys and saving the world
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: feels like a personal attack on them. There was another
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: reason this movie got under their skin. Supergirls about a
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: woman taking down sex traffickers. Yeah, that's the reason, guys.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Did you guys know that these men watched a film
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: where the hero is a woman going after sex traffickers,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: and that clearly bothered a lot of them. Sex Trafficking
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: is one of the most horrific realities for women and
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: girls in the world, and these men did not have
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: the decency to respect that. Instead of caring about what
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: the movie was actually about, all they could do was
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: mock it because a woman was the one fighting back. So, yeah,
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: not about sex traffickers primarily.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what's really interesting about this entire framing, Well,
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: first of all, it was only about sex traffickers to
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: steal the valor of that particular topic and make the
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: movie unimpeachable. You can criticize it.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: At that point. Yeah, Well, and she's demonstrating that with this,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: with this blog or article. Yeah, she's demonstrating it like
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: how dare you? What are you? What are you pro
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: sex trafficking? No, I'm against terrible movies.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: The other thing is she wants both things. She wants
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: women to be strong and independent but also unique victims
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: one or the other, my dear one or the others.
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: So either you say you allow that women are just
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: as strong as men and also rape just as much,
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: or you you you don't and then you just recognize
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: that women are weaker than men. I think that. I
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: think both can be true. Honestly, women are physically weak, burned,
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: and somehow they also use weapons and false accusations to
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: get what they want. But regardless, I mean, I think
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: that is actually logically consistent. What she's doing, isn't She
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: wants women to be as strong as men, but also
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: weaker when it's convenient, when she has to make demands
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: of men or frame men as the villains or frame
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: men is uniquely dangerous, which is it?
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: Okay, keep going, all right, the future? Okay, So they
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: shows she shows like a graph or some chart that says,
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: and I don't I think this would have to be
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: looked at to confirm film starring women outperform is what
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: it claims box office revenues for films grouped according to
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: production budget, and it shows that films with female leads
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: make a little bit more in money than films with
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: male leads. But and I think this is important. Number One,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: this is a BBC statistic that's being pushed out. Two
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: it's between the years twenty fourteen through twenty seventeen. So
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: I bet if we looked at the movies that came
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: out between twenty fourteen and twenty seventeen, there may have
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: been some that had like female leads that did well.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: I don't know, but you're going back like nearly a
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: decade to find data to support your claim. It's almost
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: like the last decade was the problem. It's almost like
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: that's the time period when everything was going to shit,
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: and you're like, well, that's not convenient. So yeah, sure,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: I guess The other thing too, is that she says
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: sex trafficking. This is not about movies, this is something else.
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: But she says sex trafficking is one of the most
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: horrific realities for women and girls in the world. Boys
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: are sex traffic two. Men are sex trafficked as well,
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: but like for some reason that they don't exist, because
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: when you hear sex trafficking, you're only supposed to see
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: or think of women. You're not supposed to think of it.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: They're at least thirty percent of the victims from what
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: I remember. Yeah, and the thing is that men are
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: not just traffic for sacks, they're also traffic for labor,
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: so sort of folded into those stacks too. And yeah,
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: so this is this is actually a human ill. But
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: of course she's got to piss all over it because
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: it's hers, it's mine mine, I'm pissing all over it.
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: This is my territory, yep, because again she simultaneously wants
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: women to be seen as strong as men but uniquely
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: victims at the same time, and asking for these impossible
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: things and people not being able to give them to
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: these women is a courts patriarchy yep. Yeah, break the
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: laws of physics everyone, or you're you're you're doing a patriarchy. Okay,
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: all right, now, how much more of this?
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: This is like halfway through? It's actually we can like
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: do another level if you want, and then do the
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: rest of it. It's not it's not that long of no, no,
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: let's get it over it.
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: Pull the freaking all right.
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: The future needs more women heroes. This is not the
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: first time they have done this either. They run the
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: same hate campaign against every female led movie. They call
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: it woke garbage and try to get people to boycott it.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: These men love to say that nobody wants to watch
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: female superhero movies, when the truth is a complete opposite.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: Take Wonder Woman, a movie with these same men tried
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: to boycott, which went on to make over eight hundred
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: and twenty million dollars worldwide. I don't remember anyone trying
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: to boycott that movie, though I don't remember that conversation
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: at all. As a matter of fact, at the time,
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: I think that most people had a favorable opinion of
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: Galgado as an actress and as a casting choice for
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: that role. It was only after she started coming like
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: making the movies themselves, people realize that she's not a
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: good actress, which is like, that's her problem is that
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: she's she's a detractive lady, and she looks the part,
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: but her acting is terrible. She's not good at it,
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: and it's and so that's why Wonder Woman did good.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: Wonder Woman nineteen eighty four not so good. She was
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: in the Snow White remake with Rachel Zegler. I heard
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: she was the worst thing about it, So yeah, I mean,
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: you're cherry picking here, but whatever. Captain Marvel crossed a
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: billion dollars. The reason why Captain Marvel made that much
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: money has nothing to do with the quality of the film.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: It has everything to do with the fact that MCU
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: hype was at its peak and Captain Marvel was released
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: between two gigantic movies. I think it was like it
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: was Infinity War and Endgame, and they released Captain Marvel
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: right in the middle there. So after Infinity War was over,
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: people were like they were foaming at the mouth for
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: something because it was so good when it came out.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: So that's the only reason why that movie made money.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: Barbie made one point four billion dollars and was the
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: highest grossing movie of twenty twenty three. Again, Barbie was
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: definitely for the ladies, though it wasn't for men. The
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: Hunger Games and Frozen turned into some of the biggest
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: franchises in film history, and both of them are led
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: entirely bad women. Yes, but both of them for women.
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: Though Barbie, Hunger Games and Frozen. I don't know about
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: Hunger Games. I didn't care for that movie. I watched
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: the first one, didn't like it. But from what I
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: can tell, those were all movies aimed at women. Maybe
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: maybe not Hunger Games, but definitely Frozen was, and both
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: of them are led entirely bad women. Audiences have paid
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: billions of dollars to watch women lead movies. These Monosphere
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: misspelling Manisphere. These Manisphere men just keep repeating the lie
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: because it feels true to them and because their followers
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: are too dumb to ever fact check them. But arguing
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: with them is a waste of time. They do not
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: care about the truth, and they never did know some
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: men yeah your mouth.
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: Yeah you notice creep here. The Manisphere has has become
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: all men with an opinion, and every movie with a
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: female lead is now folded into the woke movies that
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: they're criticizing, because I'm pretty sure Tim Poole doesn't have
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: an animus towards women entirely. Like as a group, Timpoole's
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: not like me, He's not gonna be like I. Yeah,
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: blaming women is actually we should probably put that in
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: as the eleventh commandment. He's not gonna say something like that,
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: we need to we need to talk, you need to
- 1:41:34Speaker 2: amend the constitution. There's got to be blamed women on
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: there somewhere. He's not gonna say stuff like that. So
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: but but they're saying that he hates these movies just
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: because there's a woman lead. I have to X to doubt,
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: press X to doubt here. So David, they she has
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: engaged in scope creep in two directions. This is all
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: men now who have the audacity to hold an opinion
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: about anything, because believe me, if there was men coming
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: out and saying I support this movie, she'd probably be
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: attacking them for being like, what do you want a
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: pat on the head for doing the bare minimum? And
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: so the manosphere is literally all men with an opinion,
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: and also all men who don't have the right opinion,
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: and also men who do have the right opinion but
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: voice the right opinion because they want pats and cookies, right.
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: Opinion at all. Silence is violence, you know, yeah, exactly.
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: So it's just all men, no matter what you do.
- 1:42:37Speaker 2: And I actually, like I've been spending the last couple
- 1:42:40Speaker 2: of weeks researching where all this is coming from. This
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: is essentially the left right. This is this is the
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: left's opinion on men. This is the academic left's opinion
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: on men. You guys should shut up and disappear and
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: you can be caught. Like, if you would please become
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: trans women, but don't identify as women, that would be perfect.
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: That's what they want that I'm like looking at all
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: of their documents on masculinity. Literally, that is what they want.
- 1:43:13Speaker 2: They want men to have no sense of identity whatsoever. None.
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: You don't don't you don't think of yourself as a man.
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: You don't think of yourself as being having I'm being masculine.
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: The things that you do that are qualified as masculine,
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: you should stop doing them and then you will be good.
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: So they are at war with masculinity. I don't know,
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: you know, like I know, there's progressive guys who are
- 1:43:37Speaker 2: just part of the movement because they want to help people. Well, unfortunately,
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: even that is wrong. You're just wrong. So all men
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: are wrong. You can't do anything right. There is no
- 1:43:46Speaker 2: way out of this labyrinth of wrongness. And even if
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: you don't identify as anything, like you can't identify as
- 1:43:52Speaker 2: a woman. Guys, that's not okay, but you can't identify
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: as a man. But even if you don't identify anything,
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: you're still a problem because you have a penis and
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: you were socialized to have a penis. Right, you should
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: stop that, seriously, Like, you can never not be a
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: problem because you were born with a penis and you
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: were socialized to have one. So you should stop it. Right,
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: You think I'm being crazy, but this is essentially what
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: they're saying. This is essentially where they land. That's why
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: I'm gonna start calling the political two sides is basically
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: the left and men. That's it. Yeah, And it's and
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: if you're a man and you think that, you know,
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: racism is bad and we should help poor people, you're
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: you're still a man. You're still not on the left
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: anymore because you are a man. If you identify as
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: a man, if you think that your masculinity brings anything
- 1:44:50Speaker 2: valuable into the world, you are no longer part of
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: the left. Friend, you are out. But anyway, so this
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: this particular article is she's she's gaged in this drift.
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: It's become all men. And then Tim Poole is motivated
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: by his animus against female actresses and lead roles.
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: No, So now anything woke is synonymous with women. You
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: so like Terminator, Well, I mean she was a little
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: bit feminist, but she was also presented as being sort
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: of a paranoid lunatic.
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: So in the first movie or this in the second
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: Oneator two, Yeah, the second one, But in the first one,
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: I mean like it. It follows logically, It's all. I
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: don't want to spend too much time talking about Terminator,
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: but I think it makes perfect sense, just like Aliens
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: makes perfect sense. Yeah, original in the second movie. In
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: the Aliens movie, Ripley wasn't just like, you know, better
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: than everyone. In fact, she was in The only advantage
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: she had over the Marines was the fact that she
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: had experienced with the alien from the first movie, so
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: she was able to give them useful information. And it
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: was useful information, so she was and she was of
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: course protecting Newt. Because both movies, both Terminator and Alien,
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: come down to being like sort of like Mama Bear movies.
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: Maybe that's why they work so well.
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, But the point is that now Tim
- 1:46:18Speaker 2: Poole's opinion is not just an opinion on woke storytelling. Yeah,
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: it's an opinion on women as a group. So this
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: is this is their political landscape, guys. The left is
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: women and the right is men. And this is not
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: something that men did. It's something they did. I have
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: been going through the receipts, going through the publications, going
- 1:46:42Speaker 2: through their own statements. There's this guy named Plek who
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: basically started to promote the idea that masculinity is a
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: political position. You freaking okay, I'm gonna let you think
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: about that, Brian.
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: Let me finish the I'm almost done. Go ahead.
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: Masculine ideology.
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, no, I know, like it's a socialized thing.
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: Ye all right. Some men are never going to support
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: a movie with a woman in the lead, and there
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: is nothing anyone can do about that. Their minds were
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: made up long before the trailer was released, and they
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: will do this again for the next female led film
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: and the one after that. This is exactly why women
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: need to get out and watch these movies. So she
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: is actually asking women to please watch the movie that
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: we made for you. You didn't make this movie, though,
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: whoever you are, go watch them, take your kids, take
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: your friends, and buy the tickets. Because every female led
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: film that succeeds proves these men wrong. In the only
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: language Hollywood understands. They want these movies to fail so
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: badly that they will say or do anything to make
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: it happen. What do you mean the only language Hollywood understands, Like,
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: what do you want them to do? Make movies for free?
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: Like you gotta make it and then you need people
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: to want to see it, and then you make money.
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: That's how this works. They're like, well, I guess because
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: you have to, like we have to measure success by
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: how much money you made. I guess that's the that's
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: like the only way. It's like, yeah, that's how the
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: market works. They're like, what do you want? What kind
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: of world do you want? Do you want to live
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: in a world where movies are all free? Well? You
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: know what that is, right, where people have to make
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: a film and they're not getting paid that you know,
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: it's called slavery. It's called slavery. But you know whatever,
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: I mean that it's just it's laughable. But she is
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: at least understanding that it is up to women to
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: make these things successful. And what she doesn't get is
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: that women generally, despite all this feminist shit out here,
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: they still want to watch like romance stories they still
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: want to watch. Like, what's what's really popular with women
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: right now that that shows? Well, romance, true crime, murder, mysteries, drama.
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: Popular with women's popular?
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: What's popular with women? Yeah, what's euphoria? That show Euphoria
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: that's a really popular one with women. It's about degenerating,
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: it's about degenerate teenagers that like it's very very like
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: let's say, edgy female edgy. It's like every every generation,
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: the content has to become more edgy, so like you
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: know what we used to see maybe like I don't know,
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: something like Sex in the City. Now imagine Sex and
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: the City but everyone's teenagers or Dawson's Creek or Melrose Place,
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: but there's drugs and there's like only fans and there's prostitution.
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: You know, That's that's the content, and women eat that up.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: They love it. Reality TV huge, huge, It's like people
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: that are hot messes and they're really rich and they're
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: high status and famous and they're like getting into all
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: kinds of shenanigans. I guess that's the kind of stuff
- 1:49:46Speaker 1: women like. So you know, anyway, I'm looking at the
- 1:49:55Speaker 1: that's the whole art. Yeah, I gotta get caught up.
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: I gotta get caught up on the uh that's the
- 1:50:02Speaker 2: whole article. What a bunch of crap. Okay again, all.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: Right, upstairs and get my my uh my thing. Come on,
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: you gotta go. We're gonna get would you.
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: Oh my god, I was gonna read the all right,
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: well say save this for after that letter level.
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: I'm trying to come out, open the open the door. Wait,
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: hold on a second. Something happened, Gabriel, can you all right?
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: All right? Hold on the fuck? Oh I know I'm
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: pressing the wrong button. Oh I fell all the way
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: down the stairs.
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: Oh my god. The Shenanigans.
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. Where's Lindsay?
- 1:50:57Speaker 2: You do trun?
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna grab this. Did you already grab it?
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: What did you get this I've got?
- 1:51:05Speaker 4: Ah?
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: Okay, so I do I have one?
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: Check her foot? Yeah yeah, approach and use it. I
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: only have the one. It's only the one leg though.
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: Go ahead. I'm gonna find out what Lindsay got. What
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: you get? What you get? Oh you got antennas? You
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: got the antenna's cool.
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: Costant like a jumper. You've got a jumper.
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: All right, Hold on a second. Uh Nova fan gave
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: us a dollar and said, articles like the one they're
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: reading is why I like role playing as those chauvinistic
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: men from the nineteen fifties caricatures where they talk down
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: to the women. I mean, what else? It's fun, It
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: can be fun.
- 1:51:59Speaker 2: Well I want to Yeah, oh god, what the hell?
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: There's somebody over the table. Hi just sort of crouched
- 1:52:11Speaker 2: in the corner.
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: Here she's laying, Oh yeah, you do you got the
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: tax the tax man face the cry laugh emoji. Noba
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: Fan twenty one gave us a dollar and said feminist
- 1:52:28Speaker 1: shame on men for not supporting female ledge stories. Stellar
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: Blade raised his hand, feminists, not you. Yeah, lots of
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: video games have a lot of female protagonists, but they
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: won't acknowledge those like how how many men we watch
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: the Angelina Jolie tomb Raider movie? Aren't you healed? Lindsay
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: needs Lindsay needs health, she needs help.
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: Wait, what's this this is?
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: She didn't give this to you?
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: This stumble Wings update?
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: Great, it gives them to me.
- 1:53:03Speaker 4: Don't need it.
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: I don't know what's okay? So there's a tumble Wings
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: and then there.
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: Take that take that day?
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: Can I have some strength? I can't fucking move anything, Gabriel.
- 1:53:22Speaker 4: No, you need to move anything?
- 1:53:25Speaker 2: Well, I might need to move.
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: I don't know what it is you knocked. You knock
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: my thing away?
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but if I actually had some strength, that might
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: be able to help a bit more with moving.
- 1:53:36Speaker 1: So now to ship.
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: You don't do anything.
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: Pants pants Labyrinth Larcroft was Jolie's biggest role. Yeah, you know,
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: is it?
- 1:53:49Speaker 6: Am?
- 1:53:49Speaker 7: I am?
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: I just weird. But I didn't like love you know
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: what I'm talking the Raider movie that much. I didn't
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: care for it, Like, wasn't like I don't know, it
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: wasn't fastbender in it. I didn't. I didn't know. I didn't.
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: I wasn't impressed with that one. Take. Uh, where's Allison?
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: Put her down? Here? Come here? Take this? Take the
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: stamina here, take that, use it it. Let her run
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: further here STAMINAI.
- 1:54:23Speaker 2: Just give you a second here, all right, yeah, now
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: use it.
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: That's the wrong But.
- 1:54:32Speaker 8: Running fasination, it's like it's a good thing. Those aren't
- 1:54:41Speaker 8: scissors and it's just like a box.
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: Yeah, give me the scissors. I'll run with them.
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: Joelie was cute in Hackers. Thanks for yelling, women will
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: shout from the comfort of their homes about the importance
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: of female entertainment and even sports, but never show up
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: to a theater or a game. Yes, mystery scrull exactly.
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: And then they get that's why this woman is doing
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: this call. She's like doing a call to action, like
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: go watch it. It's not gonna do anything. Women don't
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: want to watch these things. Women actually like movies that
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: men like that are aimed at men. Yeah, you know,
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: like La that doesn't that's not a female lead film,
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: but women love that shit.
- 1:55:19Speaker 2: Okay, you know the Mummy. I want to I want
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: to say that, I want to correct this. This woman
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: wants women to like this film and they don't, right,
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: And everybody who hates this film, you gotta go find
- 1:55:35Speaker 2: the guys who are going to it and tell them
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: to stop, because the women have already stopped. I have
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: no explanation for Barbie except that it was it was okay,
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: let me be let me be honest. It was sort
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: of if you just turn your freaking brain off, it
- 1:55:51Speaker 2: was sort of fun. I mean, the message was dumb,
- 1:55:59Speaker 2: but it was I don't know, it was okay. It's
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: hard to describe. It was like female slop mm hmm.
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: And I don't think that, uh that there was a
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: lot of like strong conveyance of anything from that. It
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: was just fem slop. Okay, it was it was done?
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: Are done with the article? You want to do another level? Yeah,
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: let me see if I can get in And I'm
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: gonna try and get in here and hold on, move
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: out of the way.
- 1:56:36Speaker 2: We did it.
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna try and jump in the thing. That's a mistake. Okay,
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: you try, you try to get it, get inside the
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: thing it with like no, oh okay, okay, are you ready.
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: We're gonna do another level. We've read the article already.
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: It's like Starship Troopers two point Oh. Oh, I thought
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: it was Clive Owen. You're right, it was Clive Owen.
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: Whatever happened to him? I liked him. I liked Clive Owen.
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: I liked him in hell was he in?
- 1:57:17Speaker 6: What was it?
- 1:57:20Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: Shoot him up? Yeah, shoot him up? Yeah, that's the
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: one where you had the carrot. I don't know. Is
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: she away? Yes?
- 1:57:27Speaker 5: Oh she is?
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: Okay, hold on, than oh. I meant to do this
- 1:57:32Speaker 1: to Lindsay, to put her, to keep her safe. Yea, okay,
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna put her down here all right, Allison just
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: went She's like going in.
- 1:57:50Speaker 4: I've been shipping on a carrot.
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry. The carrot here here? Here? Take this?
- 1:57:59Speaker 1: Take this? Can you use it to talk to each other?
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: If you don't have a slot, we're gonna go in
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: separate We're gonna go in separate directions. All I have
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: is the bolt zapp.
- 1:58:10Speaker 4: Think one of these? All right, Lizzy, you want this
- 1:58:15Speaker 4: role to drone?
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh boy? Also be careful. The first room is
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: this holy crow? Holy crow? What the hell am I
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: talking about? Push it? Just walk into it and you'll
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: it'll push it open. There you go, games out to get.
- 1:58:42Speaker 2: Us all right?
- 1:58:44Speaker 6: Okay?
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: Uh yeah, yeah, I got it? Are you okay? You
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: sound like you're dying? Are you still choking on it?
- 1:58:59Speaker 1: Choking on a Yeah? She had a carrot and she
- 1:59:04Speaker 1: was I guess it a little bit went down the
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: wrong tube. Sounds like she laughed at something. Is there
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: anything in here?
- 1:59:13Speaker 6: No?
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: All right, let's keep moving looking around. I feel like
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: she's about to get wild in this one. We might
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: be we might be getting killed here. Oh there was
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: something that's nice.
- 1:59:32Speaker 2: We've got a lot of super chows.
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: I'm not sure why, but I read I read everything.
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure, so that's fine.
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: I'm not saying you didn't. Just curious why we got
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: so many.
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: I got this.
- 1:59:47Speaker 2: I don't have a problem with it.
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: Watch it? What's it? What's it? H Jojo? Okay?
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: Did Jojo choke on a carrot?
- 2:00:18Speaker 1: Nah? He won't, he doesn't do that. Clive Owen did
- 2:00:22Speaker 1: well on Children of Men. Yeah, that was a good movie.
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: I liked him in Sin City. Okay. I think Mickey
- 2:00:28Speaker 1: Rourke stole that one. Stole the show on that one, though.
- 2:00:59Speaker 6: KAHM.
- 2:01:00Speaker 1: I need twenty four so this thing can go on here.
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: I'll be ready to start. Let me see here. Get
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: stand up, stand up, stand up? Okay, bring this get here,
- 2:01:16Speaker 1: charge it up a little bit. Are you dead? Are you? Okay?
- 2:01:24Speaker 2: No, I'm fine. I just grow phone m Gabriel. This
- 2:01:39Speaker 2: is the only way I'm gonna learn. You just gonna
- 2:01:41Speaker 2: have to deal with it.
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: Mm hmm. She's not picking up. She's probably busy. M Yeah,
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: all right, you said there was a meth lab. That's
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: what we refer to them.
- 2:02:11Speaker 2: Shut the funk up.
- 2:02:18Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I'll get this. Allison's cousin Gabriel out. Uh huh,
- 2:02:34Speaker 1: what'd you say? I'm not say, shut the up? The
- 2:02:50Speaker 1: fucking the the autism is strong. Uh we should probably
- 2:02:54Speaker 1: maybe this stuff is too much to bring over the
- 2:02:57Speaker 1: bridge that room, with all the events, I think that
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: might be too much.
- 2:03:01Speaker 2: You know what, I'm gonna throw this into the pit
- 2:03:03Speaker 2: if you don't shut up, Gabriel.
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: We're ready to extract. We got some stuff.
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: I didn't freaking do that. Well, then I have to
- 2:03:24Speaker 2: Gabriel shut up for a second. I gotta focus.
- 2:03:27Speaker 1: Are you okay? Man? Can you make it? Do you
- 2:03:29Speaker 1: want me to grab it?
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: Now?
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: You're fine? You know what you're doing? I really don't.
- 2:03:37Speaker 3: It's okay, that's correct.
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: Move forward, should.
- 2:03:51Speaker 1: Be almost fell, almost fell? Oh my goodness. All right
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: you ready?
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: Wait?
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: Wait? Wait, maybe I can keep this up.
- 2:04:00Speaker 2: Okay, all right, there we go go ahead, do it.
- 2:04:02Speaker 2: It was a setting, that was what was going on.
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's pretty good. Ship Is that think it'll fall?
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: Or I don't think it is?
- 2:04:17Speaker 6: Uh?
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: Okay, we're good. You look unenthused, like in the room
- 2:04:27Speaker 1: with us.
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: Oh no, in the other room.
- 2:04:33Speaker 1: All right, hold up, Oh yeah, we gotta wait, we
- 2:04:40Speaker 1: gotta wait. We gotta wait.
- 2:04:41Speaker 6: Yeah, there's no way we're gonna.
- 2:04:43Speaker 1: Go through that room. Yeah, no way, no way. Wait,
- 2:04:47Speaker 1: what the hell? That's weird? It stopped.
- 2:04:52Speaker 2: It.
- 2:04:55Speaker 1: I don't know, baby, it's great. It's gonna attack you
- 2:04:57Speaker 1: and you're in a room with Pitts. Careful m m.
- 2:05:16Speaker 4: Never gonna recover from that.
- 2:05:19Speaker 1: What what do you mean? Let's parrot? Oh shit is Gabriel?
- 2:05:34Speaker 5: Oh no?
- 2:05:35Speaker 1: Are you okay? Turn that off? Okay, okay?
- 2:05:44Speaker 2: Oh shit?
- 2:05:45Speaker 1: Oh ship, I think Alison's dead?
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: H h okay o good yeah?
- 2:06:24Speaker 1: Ah fuck yay, I'm coming with the with the cart.
- 2:06:29Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 2:06:34Speaker 4: People too?
- 2:06:39Speaker 3: Up?
- 2:06:39Speaker 6: There was a.
- 2:06:42Speaker 4: I already killed the plum. You might be killing mhm. Wait,
- 2:06:49Speaker 4: Alison's going up spear on her nor.
- 2:06:52Speaker 1: Oh she's got a spear on her that's not that
- 2:06:54Speaker 1: big of a deal.
- 2:06:57Speaker 4: Doesn't that stuff in the room, the stuff when they're
- 2:07:00Speaker 4: much straight. I had to leave it for the last one.
- 2:07:02Speaker 1: I'll say, okay, oh you have to have the spear
- 2:07:07Speaker 1: on your face.
- 2:07:08Speaker 2: I'm in the corner of shame.
- 2:07:11Speaker 1: Wait, this is like it's on you anymore? Turn around?
- 2:07:14Speaker 1: Oh no, it's it's still on you. Yeah, it's still
- 2:07:20Speaker 1: didn't look like it, but yeah, I think it. Wait, hey,
- 2:07:23Speaker 1: put it right here, Gabriel, I have room on this one.
- 2:07:26Speaker 2: Put here, get off me.
- 2:07:31Speaker 1: Just give it a little time. It'll it'll come off
- 2:07:33Speaker 1: on its own.
- 2:07:35Speaker 4: Up the last one. You've been so.
- 2:07:41Speaker 1: Sorry. Go ahead, keep going. We're going. We're going. It's
- 2:07:52Speaker 1: uh see seth spence of ship. Okay, but flip your ass.
- 2:08:06Speaker 6: Okay.
- 2:08:18Speaker 2: I found something.
- 2:08:22Speaker 1: The thing leave? Oh fuck that thing all right? Took damage.
- 2:08:34Speaker 1: Put the organ there, all right, pitch perfect. People are
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: talking about movies that have female leads that weren't bad.
- 2:08:49Speaker 1: There's plenty of them, plenty of them. It's not about
- 2:08:52Speaker 1: who's in it, it's about what the ideas are. I
- 2:08:54Speaker 1: can think of a bunch of male led movies that
- 2:08:57Speaker 1: I don't like because they're subversive and anti mal Oh shit,
- 2:09:04Speaker 1: this thing's about to go off too.
- 2:09:07Speaker 2: Should we be subversive and interesting and not anti mail?
- 2:09:14Speaker 2: Mm hmm. I think things can be interesting and subversive
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: and not anti mail, Like, why can't I get these things?
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: You know what, I'm just gonna leave it.
- 2:09:23Speaker 1: It's what you're subverting.
- 2:09:26Speaker 2: I guess I'll just have to find small stuff. I
- 2:09:28Speaker 2: have something that I put in this corridor behind me.
- 2:09:32Speaker 1: Oh we'll get it on the way back. Yeah, that's okay.
- 2:09:35Speaker 1: There's do we left. We normally leave a thing for later.
- 2:09:39Speaker 1: There's like a bunch of stuff. It's kind of scattered everywhere.
- 2:09:42Speaker 1: So hell Joker, yeah, oh Joker, the sequel, right, some
- 2:09:49Speaker 1: people like Joker. I thought it was a little bit
- 2:09:53Speaker 1: like Upon, one of those things you like it when
- 2:09:55Speaker 1: you first see it, and then you start thinking about
- 2:09:56Speaker 1: it afterwards, and as time passes you're like, you know, actually,
- 2:10:01Speaker 1: sure this was that good of a movie. Oh hey boy,
- 2:10:05Speaker 1: all right, well that was Oh did you bust his bubble?
- 2:10:09Speaker 4: You didn't do.
- 2:10:12Speaker 2: No? I turned on this this chainsaw and then it
- 2:10:15Speaker 2: destroyed itself.
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: Or oh oh oh yeah that thing. Yeah, yeah, I
- 2:10:21Speaker 1: guess you could just do it. Yeah, let's just do it.
- 2:10:25Speaker 1: Let's just get out of here. Where are you? Oh
- 2:10:37Speaker 1: are you okay? Right behind you, Allison? Where are you going?
- 2:10:45Speaker 2: I see something? I see something.
- 2:10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you're you're talking about the items on the map.
- 2:10:53Speaker 1: We're we're gonna come back for that stuff.
- 2:10:55Speaker 3: I think.
- 2:10:58Speaker 6: Uh.
- 2:10:59Speaker 1: Jared Leto apparently did decent eskeletor yeah, all right, let's
- 2:11:04Speaker 1: do it, let's do it. I'm right, I'm right here
- 2:11:06Speaker 1: with you do it?
- 2:11:07Speaker 2: Do it?
- 2:11:07Speaker 3: Do it?
- 2:11:07Speaker 1: Do it? Do it?
- 2:11:08Speaker 2: Do it?
- 2:11:12Speaker 1: Is that gonna be okay? Yeah? I think it's okay.
- 2:11:17Speaker 6: M hm.
- 2:11:26Speaker 1: When I tried to call you before, did you did
- 2:11:28Speaker 1: you hear it?
- 2:11:34Speaker 6: Oh?
- 2:11:35Speaker 2: I'm dune.
- 2:11:37Speaker 1: I tried to call you on the Waukie talking. I'm
- 2:11:40Speaker 1: talking that. I'll do it again when we when we separate,
- 2:11:48Speaker 1: I'll test it out again. You ever when you're a kid,
- 2:11:52Speaker 1: when you're a boy, when you're a little boy, and
- 2:11:54Speaker 1: you get your first walkie talkie and the first thing
- 2:11:57Speaker 1: you want to do is get your friends to like
- 2:11:58Speaker 1: go far away and then try to like the range,
- 2:12:01Speaker 1: just like can you hear me? And you're like, yeah,
- 2:12:03Speaker 1: oh shit, I broke that. Oh fuck this thing now
- 2:12:11Speaker 1: I have it on the Sorry, just walk with it.
- 2:12:17Speaker 1: Maybe I'll call her on this and see what happens
- 2:12:20Speaker 1: geat under the table. Okay, here we go. Yeah, damn,
- 2:12:32Speaker 1: it made me drop it. Where's my.
- 2:12:38Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 2:12:39Speaker 6: Oh?
- 2:12:40Speaker 1: Over there?
- 2:12:42Speaker 2: Fuck?
- 2:12:45Speaker 1: Are you trying to? Oh ship? I'm sorry, this spewer
- 2:12:49Speaker 1: is making me drop this thing. Yeah, I'm gonna put
- 2:12:55Speaker 1: this down all right. I gotta wait until this thing
- 2:13:09Speaker 1: wears off. Fuck that thing, it's not worth it. Okay,
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: let's uh keep going. CB Walkie's worked for tens of miles. Yeah,
- 2:13:31Speaker 1: this is more like a toy, a children's toy walkie talkie,
- 2:13:37Speaker 1: but still cool. I mean I still think waiting. But
- 2:13:40Speaker 1: in the time of like cell phones, isn't that Isn't
- 2:13:42Speaker 1: that sad?
- 2:13:43Speaker 2: Do you guys see this thing?
- 2:13:45Speaker 1: I'm not with you. I don't know what you see
- 2:13:48Speaker 1: eat it. I don't know. I don't know where you are. Alison.
- 2:13:52Speaker 1: Oh wait, no, that's Gabriel. I know you don't.
- 2:13:57Speaker 2: Just I am no in stop behind you?
- 2:14:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh right here? Yeah? Oh this this thing? Yes, okay, yeah,
- 2:14:06Speaker 1: we're gonna grab this thing. We're gonna do this good fine, Okay,
- 2:14:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna carry it. It's heavy. It's gonna take two
- 2:14:13Speaker 1: of us, I think.
- 2:14:14Speaker 2: Come on, okay, okays.
- 2:14:18Speaker 4: A Disney put.
- 2:14:21Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna go. This way is the room? Yeah,
- 2:14:27Speaker 1: keeps rumming, keep frying. Wait, wait, wait, okay, up the stairs, wait,
- 2:14:39Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, let me
- 2:14:40Speaker 1: get let me get it on the other side of
- 2:14:42Speaker 1: this and I'm gonna grab it from here. Okay, thank you. Yeah,
- 2:14:55Speaker 1: that thing is gonna definitely get set off when I
- 2:14:57Speaker 1: uh grab this. Okay, okay, I'm gonna put it like
- 2:15:02Speaker 1: right here. Okay, I think we're good. We got everything
- 2:15:12Speaker 1: over here, I said, okay, let's do it.
- 2:15:16Speaker 4: No cosmetics, you.
- 2:15:18Speaker 1: Know nothing yet. Where's the other car? We don't need it? Right?
- 2:15:22Speaker 1: Oh no, it's right here.
- 2:15:23Speaker 4: It's right eleven. You're supposed to.
- 2:15:27Speaker 2: No, no, no, don't.
- 2:15:28Speaker 1: This is level eleven or twelve. All right, let me
- 2:15:34Speaker 1: let me grab this three D printer. Put it over
- 2:15:37Speaker 1: here so that it's there's.
- 2:15:38Speaker 4: Really on top of this thing.
- 2:15:40Speaker 1: I think, on top of this.
- 2:15:43Speaker 3: My car here.
- 2:15:45Speaker 1: Oh oh oh, how about this? How about it? Just
- 2:15:48Speaker 1: put the money there? Okay, and yeah, I can't.
- 2:16:00Speaker 4: I can't move the money.
- 2:16:01Speaker 2: Let's kind of sorry. Oh maybe it's okay. Oh wow, yeah,
- 2:16:11Speaker 2: got I'm surprised you guys didn't see that one.
- 2:16:14Speaker 1: See what.
- 2:16:17Speaker 2: Well, the big cabinet thing or the three D printer?
- 2:16:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah you found that. Yeah. Well we didn't
- 2:16:24Speaker 1: go in that room yet, but you did so, and
- 2:16:26Speaker 1: so it can't. You can miss things sometimes they're like
- 2:16:28Speaker 1: right by the door and you don't.
- 2:16:30Speaker 2: Well, I've been tracking it down for a while. That's
- 2:16:33Speaker 2: why I was running around because I saw that that
- 2:16:36Speaker 2: it was like this this ambiguous what a yellow dot.
- 2:16:45Speaker 5: That was?
- 2:16:45Speaker 2: It sort of was confusing which room it was in?
- 2:16:48Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, I see what you mean?
- 2:16:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:16:56Speaker 1: Uh, Zeppier says, for five dollars thank you, or fifty
- 2:17:00Speaker 1: he gave us fifty? Super chow madagas matta gascara. Solution
- 2:17:05Speaker 1: send all women to an island. See how long they last?
- 2:17:08Speaker 1: Do you mean Madagascar? Is that what you're talking about?
- 2:17:10Speaker 1: Like Survivor island. We saw what happens. You know, like,
- 2:17:16Speaker 1: none of this stuff is meant to be like to
- 2:17:19Speaker 1: attack women. It's just like the reality. It's just reality. Guys.
- 2:17:25Speaker 1: Oh frog, Hold on?
- 2:17:29Speaker 2: What do I do with the frog?
- 2:17:31Speaker 6: No?
- 2:17:31Speaker 1: Just avoid him. Gabriel's gonna take care of it. I think, whoa,
- 2:17:35Speaker 1: you know what?
- 2:17:36Speaker 2: Nigga?
- 2:17:37Speaker 1: Bye?
- 2:17:40Speaker 4: If we chat with the rug.
- 2:17:45Speaker 1: Ah? Where's the robe? Is it here? There's a robe.
- 2:17:50Speaker 4: It's back somewhere.
- 2:17:54Speaker 1: Okay, watch out for the robe, Allison. It looks like
- 2:17:57Speaker 1: a giant cloak with a like a grimmery for you.
- 2:18:01Speaker 4: Do you have anything in that card?
- 2:18:02Speaker 1: Or should I just do it? There's nothing in here?
- 2:18:05Speaker 2: No, just do it.
- 2:18:06Speaker 1: We're gonna leave. Which way is it?
- 2:18:08Speaker 6: Come on?
- 2:18:08Speaker 1: Alse we're gonna leave. Come on, come on this way
- 2:18:12Speaker 1: then I let it go on that. Well, when I'm
- 2:18:14Speaker 1: following you, we're going. We're leaving.
- 2:18:18Speaker 6: The clown.
- 2:18:18Speaker 4: Share the clown.
- 2:18:21Speaker 1: Yeah, shit, watch out else, watch out, clown. We're gonna
- 2:18:28Speaker 1: slip past it. It's right there, it's right there. Just
- 2:18:35Speaker 1: stay low.
- 2:18:38Speaker 2: Am I not staying leaving?
- 2:18:40Speaker 1: You know you're good, You're good. Come on, you're good.
- 2:18:42Speaker 1: Let's go this way.
- 2:18:48Speaker 6: Now.
- 2:18:48Speaker 1: All we gotta do is cross this Oh ship, No, wait,
- 2:18:51Speaker 1: stay stay back, stay back. There's a there's a monster
- 2:18:54Speaker 1: in there. We gotta wait until it leaves.
- 2:19:00Speaker 6: Mhm.
- 2:19:01Speaker 1: It's not good, doesn't there's an Ukley over there. Yeah,
- 2:19:07Speaker 1: come on, oh.
- 2:19:11Speaker 4: Come on, come on, it's not it twice are you
- 2:19:21Speaker 4: doing this?
- 2:19:22Speaker 2: Ship?
- 2:19:22Speaker 4: Twenty seconds? Okay, what's study against? It's gonna take too long.
- 2:19:32Speaker 4: All right, it's gonna beat you.
- 2:19:36Speaker 3: M hm.
- 2:19:39Speaker 1: Oh, it's gonna attack Alison. She's getting attacked.
- 2:19:46Speaker 2: I got thrown in a pit.
- 2:19:48Speaker 1: All right, it's okay, Well we'll get you. You'll be
- 2:19:53Speaker 1: back in a second.
- 2:19:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:20:07Speaker 1: Children's walkie talkies got replaced with f R S slash
- 2:20:10Speaker 1: g m r S radios.
- 2:20:14Speaker 2: Okay, so I will, I will read my thing. Yeah,
- 2:20:25Speaker 2: so this is why she would accuse men of something
- 2:20:31Speaker 2: like which is ridiculous if you think about it. The
- 2:20:35Speaker 2: one her attribution, uh what she attributed this to. Okay,
- 2:20:41Speaker 2: so just just as a recap, women didn't watch Supergirl.
- 2:20:47Speaker 2: Somehow men are to blame because women didn't go. Even
- 2:20:52Speaker 2: though men went, they should stop because if there, if
- 2:20:57Speaker 2: they're gonna get the name anyway, just don't go.
- 2:20:59Speaker 3: Do you want to?
- 2:20:59Speaker 2: Can continue to have this craft come out? All right?
- 2:21:02Speaker 2: So the hert attributing this problem to men never faced
- 2:21:07Speaker 2: an evidence check. Uh, the document's own structure gates it.
- 2:21:11Speaker 2: Both outcomes were pre covered. Success refutes the trolls. Failure
- 2:21:15Speaker 2: was caused by the trolls. Variety pre release framing, forward
- 2:21:21Speaker 2: press post relays, and objection confirms the claim. So she's
- 2:21:28Speaker 2: basically constructed an unassailable position, just like a woman. If
- 2:21:34Speaker 2: the film succeeds, it refutes the trolls. If it fails,
- 2:21:38Speaker 2: the problem was the trolls, and if anybody objects, then
- 2:21:42Speaker 2: they're proving her point. This is like the relational web win.
- 2:21:46Speaker 2: This is the wind mode. This is like the fatality
- 2:21:48Speaker 2: of the relational web. Everything lands on them being right. Okay,
- 2:21:56Speaker 2: Male Animus is the only zero cost a trip attribution available.
- 2:22:01Speaker 2: The alternatives each cost the writer or something. Female non
- 2:22:05Speaker 2: turnout implicates her own readership presumably I think she probably
- 2:22:09Speaker 2: has a different readership than women in general. Yeah, poor
- 2:22:14Speaker 2: reviews and the stars press conduct implicate the product and
- 2:22:18Speaker 2: its allied press character weight implicates the studio's green light.
- 2:22:23Speaker 2: Men did it charges an outgroup? The readership already holds
- 2:22:29Speaker 2: liable and requires nothing from anyone in the room. That's it, guys.
- 2:22:35Speaker 2: You guys are like the low cast. Blaming men is
- 2:22:39Speaker 2: a free action.
- 2:22:42Speaker 1: Yep, yourself.
- 2:22:45Speaker 2: The piece routes an accountability question. Why did twenty nine
- 2:22:49Speaker 2: million dollar product fail away from every accountable party, studio, filmmakers,
- 2:22:55Speaker 2: star marketing, and the absent target audience onto a party
- 2:23:00Speaker 2: with no causal handle on the outcome? Men attended as
- 2:23:04Speaker 2: a general a genre typical share. That's the great irony.
- 2:23:08Speaker 2: And I'm not saying this is a good thing. But
- 2:23:10Speaker 2: men went to this shit. They did their duty, ladies.
- 2:23:15Speaker 2: You guys didn't do their The ladies didn't do their
- 2:23:18Speaker 2: turn subjecting themselves to this crap. That's why it bombed.
- 2:23:27Speaker 2: Strangely enough, the conclusion here is that women had more
- 2:23:29Speaker 2: sense men did it charges the outgroup the readership already
- 2:23:36Speaker 2: holds liable and requires nothing from anyone in the room, okay,
- 2:23:41Speaker 2: onto a party with no causal handle on the outcome,
- 2:23:44Speaker 2: men attended at a genre typical share. That is the
- 2:23:47Speaker 2: firewall operation, the mechanism by which the substrate question never
- 2:23:51Speaker 2: reaches the people positioned on it.
- 2:23:54Speaker 3: Okay, all right.
- 2:23:56Speaker 2: Essentially, what that means is she's never She's not calling
- 2:23:58Speaker 2: out the people who made the decisions for this to flop.
- 2:24:01Speaker 2: She's calling out the people the only people who actually
- 2:24:05Speaker 2: did anything to prevent it from flopping, which is a
- 2:24:08Speaker 2: male audience that showed out its generotypical levels, which I mean,
- 2:24:13Speaker 2: regardless of what you think of that, and probably you
- 2:24:15Speaker 2: shouldn't think much of it, the men did their job
- 2:24:20Speaker 2: to make this thing not a flop. It was the
- 2:24:23Speaker 2: women who made it a flop. Function standard intent, not
- 2:24:27Speaker 2: claimed inference, grounded in first order conduct and second order turner.
- 2:24:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:24:31Speaker 2: The attribution is also the product the pieces monetized grievance
- 2:24:35Speaker 2: content publication growth call COFI civilicitation. So I think that's
- 2:24:42Speaker 2: her sponsor for more men as villain teasers appendeds so basically,
- 2:24:48Speaker 2: men as villain is like a product. The explanation that
- 2:24:53Speaker 2: sustains the readership is one is the one produced first order. Okay,
- 2:25:01Speaker 2: so basically she's monetizing male hatred. Woo, there's a market.
- 2:25:06Speaker 1: It's not even hatred though, it's like monetizing the the
- 2:25:10Speaker 1: illusion of male hatred, like a manufactured There's like none
- 2:25:14Speaker 1: of the people that she's supposedly owning and calling misogynists
- 2:25:19Speaker 1: hate women like. It's basically a white knight simp. And
- 2:25:24Speaker 1: in many ways Andrew Tate is too, because he basically
- 2:25:26Speaker 1: values everything that his fucking world, you know, revolves around,
- 2:25:33Speaker 1: is his success with women.
- 2:25:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it is a little irrational, isn't it. It's
- 2:25:38Speaker 2: like he'll say, Andrew Tate, Okay, now I know you
- 2:25:40Speaker 2: wouldn't say this specifically. I'm sort of paraphrasing the general
- 2:25:44Speaker 2: manisphere about this. They'll be like, women's standards are crazy, Well,
- 2:25:48Speaker 2: how about living up to those women's crazy women's standards?
- 2:25:52Speaker 2: It's like, okay, so if women are crazy, what are
- 2:25:56Speaker 2: the men who are living up to those they're crazy standards?
- 2:25:59Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:26:00Speaker 3: Right, Like.
- 2:26:03Speaker 2: Women are going to destroy the world, how do I
- 2:26:06Speaker 2: go about doing what they want.
- 2:26:11Speaker 1: Judge you guys.
- 2:26:11Speaker 2: And I'm only saying this because we're right on the
- 2:26:15Speaker 2: situation here, which is that men are supporting supergirls women aren't,
- 2:26:29Speaker 2: you know, So there's there's some craziness on that side too,
- 2:26:32Speaker 2: I think. But anyway, what I was saying when I
- 2:26:38Speaker 2: was saying that man hatred was a product is that
- 2:26:41Speaker 2: I mean, we're actually not hatred, but blame blaming men
- 2:26:45Speaker 2: is her product. So you can make money off of
- 2:26:48Speaker 2: blaming men. That's the world we live in. Like, just
- 2:26:54Speaker 2: find something and blame men for it. Do you know
- 2:26:59Speaker 2: that all of the gender initiatives that I've been studying,
- 2:27:02Speaker 2: like just one of them is like seventy billion dollars
- 2:27:06Speaker 2: seventy billion dollars a year just one that there's like
- 2:27:11Speaker 2: at least ten that I've been working through, and probably
- 2:27:14Speaker 2: additional that you'll never be able to track because they're
- 2:27:17Speaker 2: just so numerous.
- 2:27:19Speaker 3: Oh it's insane.
- 2:27:22Speaker 1: Okay anyway, anyway, So yeah, that's I mean, that's that's
- 2:27:29Speaker 1: kind of what the conversation is gonna be for a
- 2:27:31Speaker 1: little while. Should be.
- 2:27:37Speaker 2: Done for two and a half hours.
- 2:27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, we should stop what Oh I took it? Was
- 2:27:44Speaker 1: that not supposed to? I don't know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 2:27:54Speaker 1: I didn't take any of that. I didn't take the sprints.
- 2:27:57Speaker 1: I didn't take the sprint speed. Sorry, guys, that was
- 2:28:01Speaker 1: my mistake. I shouldn't have done that.
- 2:28:03Speaker 6: My bad.
- 2:28:05Speaker 1: This uh, this crossbow is kind of bullshit, so not
- 2:28:09Speaker 1: taking that offensive.
- 2:28:11Speaker 6: It's just.
- 2:28:13Speaker 2: Did people send things through to put in like craziness?
- 2:28:18Speaker 1: I just I just like hit something random when they
- 2:28:22Speaker 1: send something through. So that probably caused Yeah, that probably
- 2:28:25Speaker 1: caused some issues, but nobody specifically said I want to
- 2:28:28Speaker 1: see this. Somebody mentioned you being stuck in a wall,
- 2:28:31Speaker 1: but there's no command to make that happen.
- 2:28:33Speaker 2: Well, no, that's we don't know how that happens. Not
- 2:28:39Speaker 2: gonna somehow I break. I break the geometry of the
- 2:28:42Speaker 2: game by virtue of just existing.
- 2:28:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a super Child from Richard Pierre again
- 2:28:50Speaker 1: for five and he says so that one Freedom Tunes,
- 2:28:54Speaker 1: where all of the woke people keep telling the man
- 2:28:56Speaker 1: that every media product is not for him, ends with
- 2:28:59Speaker 1: him being berated during the review of the last product
- 2:29:03Speaker 1: by responding it wasn't for me, getting turned into an
- 2:29:06Speaker 1: article and a two hour HBr stream. Wow, that was
- 2:29:10Speaker 1: a mouthful. Thank you Richard Berre. Yeah, basically, I mean,
- 2:29:13Speaker 1: I don't remember that Freedom Tunes cartoon, but sounds like
- 2:29:16Speaker 1: it tracks.
- 2:29:19Speaker 2: I'm looking at the super chats right now and like
- 2:29:24Speaker 2: there's a ton from Albert Nader retrom.
- 2:29:28Speaker 1: Oh, like in our history.
- 2:29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, not in your history. It's from last like Thursday.
- 2:29:36Speaker 1: It was from the talk show. Yeah, he kind of
- 2:29:39Speaker 1: he kind of spurred out on us. I was just
- 2:29:43Speaker 1: hosting it. He was just like, you guys suck. I'm quitting.
- 2:29:46Speaker 1: I'm done.
- 2:29:48Speaker 2: Okay, but did he send liked? Can I read all
- 2:29:51Speaker 2: of these? Because this is like dozens of messages?
- 2:29:56Speaker 1: Holy saith. And then I'm gonna take the health turn around.
- 2:30:03Speaker 5: Five fifteen thirty five forty five fifty five seventy He
- 2:30:13Speaker 5: gives seventy bucks to tell us how much we suck.
- 2:30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, tell him to do that more. He should do
- 2:30:18Speaker 1: that more.
- 2:30:19Speaker 2: Stand up, Alison, Okay, wait, no, what I just stood
- 2:30:23Speaker 2: up physically?
- 2:30:24Speaker 3: What do you want to know?
- 2:30:25Speaker 1: What I mean in the character? Your character is move
- 2:30:29Speaker 1: or something sort of stand up? Yeah?
- 2:30:32Speaker 2: What are we doing? Another level? Or hold on?
- 2:30:34Speaker 5: Hold on?
- 2:30:35Speaker 1: We can we can do it. No, it's late, we
- 2:30:38Speaker 1: should quit, but turn around. So I want to give
- 2:30:41Speaker 1: you some health.
- 2:30:43Speaker 3: Okay, don't.
- 2:30:46Speaker 1: Stay there, don't move.
- 2:30:49Speaker 4: Enemies an enemy?
- 2:30:53Speaker 2: Oh my god, the table is a block. I gotta
- 2:30:57Speaker 2: look at this. Oh it's a paper bag on your head,
- 2:31:04Speaker 2: as it should be.
- 2:31:08Speaker 1: It's kind of awesome. Actually, the bag. I want the bag.
- 2:31:12Speaker 1: Look when she goes underneath something, the bad gets scrunched.
- 2:31:15Speaker 1: See see that the bag gets scrunched.
- 2:31:22Speaker 2: Get that bag.
- 2:31:23Speaker 1: She is the bag. Her head, her top of her
- 2:31:26Speaker 1: head is like a table. The table is a block.
- 2:31:31Speaker 1: The cake is a lie. All right, let's uh yeah,
- 2:31:34Speaker 1: let's end it here. Then I guess do the things?
