- 0:00Speaker 1: Right now, it is a football and four with Jeff Motion.
- 0:04Speaker 1: We got mailbag questions that we've been holding for Jeff,
- 0:07Speaker 1: and we'll get to those. But Jeff, two games have
- 0:10Speaker 1: been released so far for the Eagles already Thanksgiving against
- 0:14Speaker 1: the Cowboys, So they will be in Dallas for Thanksgiving
- 0:17Speaker 1: this year, and they will be in London this year
- 0:20Speaker 1: against Jacksonville. So we do know two games. They do
- 0:24Speaker 1: get the London game, but they are the road team
- 0:27Speaker 1: in that game. They did not want to be a
- 0:28Speaker 1: home team, but they will go to London and then
- 0:30Speaker 1: they will be on the road. Do you like the
- 0:33Speaker 1: matchup with Dallas being on Thanksgiving Day? That's a you know,
- 0:36Speaker 1: Week twelve kind of division game there?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Well, I might. I mean, it's I think it adds
- 0:44Speaker 2: to it, of course, because it's Thanksgiving. I kind of
- 0:48Speaker 2: want to know where that first game when that first
- 0:51Speaker 2: game is played first though, and that might be the
- 0:53Speaker 2: first game if it's like a you know, Thanksgiving. Then
- 0:57Speaker 2: they play the Cowboys again in the season finale. But
- 1:00Speaker 2: I like it more when the Eagles and Cowboys play
- 1:03Speaker 2: later in the year than like last year when they
- 1:05Speaker 2: played in the season opener.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I didn't really like that yeah, so it's a later game.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I like that, and the fact it is in Dallas,
- 1:12Speaker 1: it is on Thanksgiving. The Eagles are two and oh
- 1:14Speaker 1: against Dallas on Thanksgiving. I know, you get those high
- 1:17Speaker 1: profile holiday games. It always kind of adds to the
- 1:21Speaker 1: intrigue of these rivalry games. You know, a lot of times,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you know, they try to save them for primetime games.
- 1:28Speaker 1: But it's seems that the NFL has changed out a
- 1:30Speaker 1: little bit. They are putting the highest of high profile
- 1:32Speaker 1: games on holidays and more stuff like this.
- 1:36Speaker 2: You know, well, I mean they're putting every game now,
- 1:38Speaker 2: I mean every even holidays that aren't really holidays, like
- 1:41Speaker 2: Black Friday, are now days that there are NFL games.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So see this year they've now added a Thanksgiving eve game.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Oh there you go. See that's so to your point.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I mean, we're getting, you know, probably dangerously close to
- 1:56Speaker 2: you know, seeing football on really unconventional days for quite
- 1:59Speaker 2: a bit. Actually, if they go to an eighteenth game
- 2:01Speaker 2: schedule and then of course seeing them on streaming services,
- 2:04Speaker 2: which you know, I really hope something changes about that
- 2:07Speaker 2: in the future. I just think that the fan is
- 2:09Speaker 2: really getting screwed and they could do it. They could
- 2:12Speaker 2: do better.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Than that. Well, one of the things they also announced,
- 2:16Speaker 1: CBS is giving up one of its one o'clock regional
- 2:19Speaker 1: games to put on in a standalone Saturday game in
- 2:25Speaker 1: like week fifteen or something. So you're gonna start to
- 2:28Speaker 1: see some you know, more like the guy who has
- 2:32Speaker 1: Sunday ticket at one o'clock. They're just pulling games out
- 2:36Speaker 1: of that one o'clock window and throwing them all over
- 2:39Speaker 1: the place.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a great point. I mean, you pay for
- 2:41Speaker 2: that Sunday ticket, you think you're watching every game, and
- 2:43Speaker 2: then you realize now you're not, and then you've got
- 2:46Speaker 2: to pay for more streaming services to watch those games
- 2:48Speaker 2: that you used to get.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so it will be interesting to see that schedule
- 2:53Speaker 1: we drop tomorrow and see if there's any other How
- 2:54Speaker 1: many primetime games will the Eagles end up with they've
- 2:57Speaker 1: already got.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 2:58Speaker 1: The international game is a solo window. I Wannesday primetime.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's a nine point thirty in the morning game. Then
- 3:04Speaker 1: you have a holiday game, so I guess in addition
- 3:07Speaker 1: to a holiday game and a London game, they can
- 3:09Speaker 1: still get Mondays and Sundays and Thursdays. You might be
- 3:12Speaker 1: playing on a lot of non conventional days this year.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Certainly can be. I guess we're getting close to that.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And by the way, really interesting fact. You know, the
- 3:20Speaker 2: last time the Eagles were supposed to play Jacksonville in Jacksonville,
- 3:23Speaker 2: I think was twenty eighteen, and they played that game
- 3:26Speaker 2: in London right at Wembley Stadium. So if my calculations
- 3:31Speaker 2: are correct, the Eagles actually have not played in Jacksonville,
- 3:34Speaker 2: Florida since twenty ten.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I know, somebody texted me this morning was
- 3:39Speaker 1: like again they live down there. They were saying that
- 3:41Speaker 1: they wanted to go. They were hoping to go to
- 3:43Speaker 1: the game in Jacksonville to see the Eagles this year,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and yeah, not getting to get that opportunity. But guess what,
- 3:49Speaker 1: London's a lot cooler than Jacksonville.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yes I would. Although I've never been to London, I
- 3:54Speaker 2: have been to Jacksonville, and I'm just gonna automatically assume
- 3:57Speaker 2: London's a lot cooler.
- 3:59Speaker 1: All Right, We got a bunch of mail bag questions
- 4:01Speaker 1: that have been sent in over the last couple of
- 4:03Speaker 1: weeks for the inside the Birds guys. We'll do a
- 4:06Speaker 1: motioner mail bag Wednesday here to get some off season questions.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And this is stuff that just has been kind of
- 4:12Speaker 1: piling up since the Draft that we've been getting from
- 4:15Speaker 1: our listeners six nine, four oh three, zero nine seventy
- 4:18Speaker 1: three and always at Mike Gilshow, you can send uh
- 4:22Speaker 1: these in. We're gonna start off with Steve and Galloway. Uh,
- 4:26Speaker 1: Jeff want he wants to know. How much do you
- 4:29Speaker 1: really think that Sean Manying taking over as the offensive
- 4:32Speaker 1: coordinator will change the look of this offense? Oh?
- 4:37Speaker 2: I think it will. Definitely. There's no question to me.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It's going to change the look of the offense. I
- 4:42Speaker 2: don't believe that if things look clunky for the first
- 4:46Speaker 2: few weeks like it did under Kellen Moore, that you're
- 4:48Speaker 2: going to see the Eagles go back to running the
- 4:51Speaker 2: same kind of Eagles offense that you've seen for the
- 4:54Speaker 2: last four or five years. Because not only have they
- 4:57Speaker 2: brought in Sean Mannion confidently to change what they have done,
- 5:02Speaker 2: they've also changed the personnel to more fit, less of
- 5:06Speaker 2: a shot play offense and more of a middle of
- 5:08Speaker 2: the field type offense. We've talked about that, mackay lemon Stours,
- 5:13Speaker 2: you know, Goddard's back, DeVante Smith even Dontavian Wicks, who
- 5:17Speaker 2: I think some people think is more of a shot
- 5:19Speaker 2: play guy when he's really more of a middle of
- 5:21Speaker 2: the field guy who has shot play abilities. I mean,
- 5:24Speaker 2: they're they're completely designing their offense around the idea that
- 5:29Speaker 2: they are going to run this scheme by hook or
- 5:32Speaker 2: crook mike. So it will look different schematically in my
- 5:37Speaker 2: mind for sure. Now, whether it looks better or worse,
- 5:39Speaker 2: I couldn't tell you. But I don't think that this
- 5:42Speaker 2: thing is just going to be a temporary look and
- 5:44Speaker 2: then if it's not right, you just start to see
- 5:47Speaker 2: what you know, the old fashioned hitch and slant offense Again.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Ron inmar Mora wants to know, Jeff, based on what
- 5:55Speaker 1: you've heard, how different will the offensive line style be
- 6:00Speaker 1: on what Jeff Stotlin brought to the table.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that remains to be seen. Because so
- 6:05Speaker 2: while I want to contradict myself, I do expect Jean
- 6:08Speaker 2: Mannion to come in here and run an offense that
- 6:10Speaker 2: looks like his influences in either LA or Green Bay.
- 6:15Speaker 2: But those two offenses are different as well, and they're
- 6:19Speaker 2: they both run the ball differently.
- 6:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 6:20Speaker 2: For example, the rams used to be known for running
- 6:23Speaker 2: a lot of outside zone, but they don't. They're mostly
- 6:25Speaker 2: an inside zone duo. They actually ran the ball like
- 6:27Speaker 2: the Eagles did for the last few years. The Packers
- 6:32Speaker 2: run a lot of decent amount of what we call
- 6:35Speaker 2: gap and power, which is not a zone blocking style.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It's more of an alignment movement where you're pulling guards
- 6:41Speaker 2: and you're trapping tackles and you're trying to get extra
- 6:43Speaker 2: bodies into the second level. Because Josh Jacobs is an
- 6:47Speaker 2: inside run I mean, it's a very good running back,
- 6:49Speaker 2: but he power runner. You watch the meat drags guys.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Same thing with Kyrin Williams with the Rams, So you know,
- 6:55Speaker 2: I think that there will be an element of that
- 6:59Speaker 2: kind of blocking, and the offensive line coaching will will
- 7:03Speaker 2: certainly expand a little bit beyond just inside zone now
- 7:07Speaker 2: that Chris Cooper is coaching the offensive line. But I
- 7:11Speaker 2: really do think that if Sean Mannon is a good coach,
- 7:13Speaker 2: is going to adapt with personnel, and I don't think
- 7:15Speaker 2: we've seen the last of just inside running or inside
- 7:17Speaker 2: zone just because they're going to do some more outside
- 7:20Speaker 2: zone or wide zone blocking.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Sam and Vettner is Andy Dalton viewed as a high
- 7:26Speaker 1: end insurance policy likes Sam hal was Yeah, I'm Sam
- 7:30Speaker 1: Vetner asked a question because Sam he liked the name Sam.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Sam, I am. I don't think we can really put
- 7:37Speaker 2: Andy Dalton and Sam Howell in the same high end
- 7:40Speaker 2: insurance policy conversation because Andy Dalton's fifteen year pro been
- 7:45Speaker 2: to three Pro Bowls, played in playoff games, whereas you know,
- 7:49Speaker 2: Sam Howell was like a guy who's been sort of
- 7:52Speaker 2: a journeyman so far, and as a third round pick
- 7:55Speaker 2: and floated around for a couple of franchises. But to
- 7:58Speaker 2: the point Sam is trying to make it, it's a
- 8:02Speaker 2: little bit of both.
- 8:03Speaker 3: You know.
- 8:03Speaker 2: We report it on Inside the Birds that Howie Roseman's
- 8:06Speaker 2: always liked Andy Dalton tried to get him before as
- 8:08Speaker 2: a backup. But you wouldn't get a guy like that
- 8:12Speaker 2: knowing that you have a really good backup in Tanner McKee,
- 8:15Speaker 2: if you didn't think that there was a chance that
- 8:17Speaker 2: Tanner McKee could be gone before the start of the
- 8:20Speaker 2: year and you would need that quote unquote high end
- 8:22Speaker 2: insurance policy.
- 8:24Speaker 3: All right's go to uh So there you go.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Tim in wild Wood, Red Blanket Chip is gone to
- 8:31Speaker 1: Houston's safety spot opposite Andrew mccooba seems wide open. Do
- 8:35Speaker 1: you see Marcus Epp starting, maybe Degene Carter? I guess
- 8:38Speaker 1: that would be Michael Carter.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Correct, Yes, Yeah, I don't see Mike Marcus ev starting.
- 8:44Speaker 2: And I don't believe the Eagles want that. They they
- 8:49Speaker 2: haven't made too many moves. But you do hear Howie
- 8:51Speaker 2: Roseman saying that he's not done at that position. Michael
- 8:54Speaker 2: Carter will get a shot. They could give to Gene
- 8:56Speaker 2: a look there. They'll probably sign somebody. They'll see what
- 8:59Speaker 2: they've got in Coles Newski. But if if you were
- 9:01Speaker 2: to really, like if I were to really take a
- 9:05Speaker 2: hard stab at what they're gonna do here, I would
- 9:06Speaker 2: think Howie Roseman's gonna look for something on the trade
- 9:09Speaker 2: market right before the season, sort of like how he
- 9:11Speaker 2: got CJ. Gardner Johnson a couple of years ago, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 2: the way he got Ronald Darby. I don't know who
- 9:17Speaker 2: that person is. I've I've got some names that I
- 9:20Speaker 2: think might be of interest and might be available, but
- 9:24Speaker 2: it just would just be speculation. But I would think
- 9:27Speaker 2: that they were trade to upgrade before anything else, and
- 9:31Speaker 2: Marcus steps would be the last resort if they had to.
- 9:34Speaker 3: All right, let's go to Kevin in Apseekin.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Kevin in Fsekin says, thoughts on Degene and Quinnon in
- 9:44Speaker 1: your three add in Woolan.
- 9:45Speaker 3: How much better is this secondary?
- 9:49Speaker 2: You know, I'm gonna go ahead and think that Woolan,
- 9:53Speaker 2: even with his flaws, is an upgrade over a Dori Jackson.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I mean he's longer, more athletic. So right then and
- 10:00Speaker 2: there your secondary. If you're only changing Dori Jackson to
- 10:06Speaker 2: Greek Wollan, that's pretty good. You're better, although again they
- 10:08Speaker 2: have to answer for that second safety.
- 10:10Speaker 1: They we all just assume right that he's going to
- 10:13Speaker 1: be stud Woolen that he was early in his Yeah,
- 10:16Speaker 1: I mean he's been up and down.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't assume that at all. I mean, I
- 10:19Speaker 2: think he's going to be the player that he's basically
- 10:21Speaker 2: been for most of his career, which is up and down.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But that was also what Dori Jackson has been. So
- 10:27Speaker 2: I just assume Wolland's going to be a guy who
- 10:30Speaker 2: probably won't play on first down, second down, you know,
- 10:33Speaker 2: come in on, I'm passing downs, and then Degene will
- 10:36Speaker 2: slide back into the nickelback spot there as long as
- 10:40Speaker 2: he's not playing safety, and that's going to give them
- 10:42Speaker 2: a pretty good third down second long third down defense.
- 10:47Speaker 1: This one is from Todd in Galloway. He wants to know,
- 10:50Speaker 1: is the change, Jeff in your mind from Campbell from Campbell,
- 10:56Speaker 1: from Dean to Campbell? Excuse me, an upgrade or a
- 10:59Speaker 1: down grad So I.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Think it's an upgrade in athleticism, in range, in the
- 11:05Speaker 2: ability to run with tight ends and cover the middle
- 11:07Speaker 2: of the field. I think it's a downgrade right now
- 11:11Speaker 2: in terms of the run, playing downhill, getting off blocks, blitzing, which,
- 11:17Speaker 2: by the way, I know people are gonna say, what
- 11:19Speaker 2: are you talking about. He was a great blitzer. He
- 11:20Speaker 2: was an edge rusher in college, absolutely, but there's a
- 11:23Speaker 2: difference between being an edge rusher and then being an
- 11:26Speaker 2: a gap blitzer in a SIM pressure that Nikoby Dean
- 11:30Speaker 2: was unbelievable at. I mean, Nicoby Dean would blow up
- 11:33Speaker 2: really good running backs in pass pro like David Montgomery
- 11:36Speaker 2: and who else on Josh Jacobs. I mean, he would
- 11:39Speaker 2: just explode to the quarterback. How many big plays did
- 11:42Speaker 2: he make hitting the quarterback last year? Coming on a
- 11:45Speaker 2: SIM pressure, which is not a true blitz. That's something
- 11:47Speaker 2: that I think that Campbell can be good at eventually,
- 11:51Speaker 2: and maybe he'll bridge the gap quickly and we'll see.
- 11:54Speaker 2: But just from a glue guy, I think Campbell's you know,
- 11:58Speaker 2: he's still First of all, he's got to get his
- 12:00Speaker 2: shoulders heaving. This is the second shoulder procedure that he's
- 12:03Speaker 2: had in two years, so you have to worry a
- 12:04Speaker 2: little bit about him staying on the field.
- 12:07Speaker 1: All right, Let's go to James in Northfield and he
- 12:10Speaker 1: wants to know will Lemon have an immediate impact? Jeff
- 12:14Speaker 1: loved the segment Love Football at four. Jeff is geoff,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but he went with j E. F F. But no, Biggie,
- 12:21Speaker 1: Jeff is a g. Do you think Lemon has an
- 12:24Speaker 1: immediate impact? Does he kind of get, you know, work
- 12:29Speaker 1: his way into this thing, or from day one?
- 12:31Speaker 3: Is he bang?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean he should as long as this talent
- 12:35Speaker 2: he showed in college translated. He doesn't have to if
- 12:39Speaker 2: he's struggling, if he's dropping balls. You know, Nelson Aguilar
- 12:41Speaker 2: struggled your one annyas Smith struggled a couple of years ago.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Although that's a fifth round pick compared to a first
- 12:47Speaker 2: round pick, Lemon's very pro ready. As far as the
- 12:51Speaker 2: way he runs, routes, what he knows, that's everything scouts
- 12:53Speaker 2: told me he should day one. But if you were struggling,
- 12:57Speaker 2: obviously your top three receivers could then be Smith, Wicks
- 13:00Speaker 2: and Marquis Brown. Okay, so it doesn't have to be.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But if he's doing what he's supposed to do, he
- 13:06Speaker 2: should be the inside receiver most times in your eleven
- 13:09Speaker 2: personnel right away.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Mark, and k will tank Bigsby had a bigger role
- 13:16Speaker 3: this season.
- 13:17Speaker 2: That's a good question, Mark, It's a great question because
- 13:20Speaker 2: I mean I can sit here and say he deserves it,
- 13:22Speaker 2: he should, but you know, it comes back to the argument,
- 13:25Speaker 2: how much do you want to take sa Quon Barkley
- 13:27Speaker 2: off the field, especially if the running game is a
- 13:29Speaker 2: lot better next year than it was last year. It's
- 13:33Speaker 2: Adam and I talk about this and Andrew de checo
- 13:36Speaker 2: on inside the Birds all the time. And you know
- 13:38Speaker 2: how good the Eagles have at depth at running back
- 13:41Speaker 2: because Bigsby's Bigsby averaged he averages four and a half
- 13:44Speaker 2: yards per carry for his career, and I think he
- 13:46Speaker 2: averaged close to six yards per carry last year. Is
- 13:49Speaker 2: an Eagle? Those are the kind of numbers that make
- 13:51Speaker 2: you want to get him on the field more. But again, yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 2: how much you're taking Saquon Barkley off the field?
- 13:59Speaker 1: REBAGBC Right, we've had Adam on yesterday. Over under was
- 14:02Speaker 1: like eleven hundred yards.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I would go with the over.
- 14:05Speaker 3: We both agreed.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Last year was a terrible year for run blocking, honestly
- 14:09Speaker 2: for Saquon, right, and he got I think he got
- 14:11Speaker 2: to eleven hundred yards? Did he not?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeah? I think so?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:16Speaker 1: All right, fired us one up Will Will in Washington Township.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Once to know, Jeff, do you think they adequately filled
- 14:23Speaker 1: the depth on the offensive line yet?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Well, I mean they've got like eleven tackles, so I
- 14:30Speaker 2: think you know they're they're pretty good interior offensive line.
- 14:34Speaker 2: They have a backup center and Drew Kendall. They like him.
- 14:37Speaker 2: They thought he played well last year for the most
- 14:39Speaker 2: part when he had to start in that resting starters game.
- 14:43Speaker 2: He'll enter year two, so that's a good thing. But
- 14:46Speaker 2: they don't really to me, have a good established top
- 14:50Speaker 2: backup guard yet. I mean you're talking right now. If
- 14:54Speaker 2: they had to play a game today, your top backup
- 14:56Speaker 2: guard is either Kendall is going to play guard, where
- 14:59Speaker 2: he's nearly never played before. Where you got what like
- 15:01Speaker 2: Willie Lampkin, you got the rookie they just picked in
- 15:04Speaker 2: the sixth round, MIKEA and Morris. They were cross training
- 15:06Speaker 2: Holland Pierce there last year. But Holland Pierce is six
- 15:09Speaker 2: eight three forty with an eighty something in twingspan. He's
- 15:13Speaker 2: a tackle. I mean, I get why Stetland after the
- 15:16Speaker 2: Makai Beckham thing is, doesn't mind trying these guys at
- 15:19Speaker 2: guard and maybe it'll work. But he's a tackle. So
- 15:23Speaker 2: you would like, with the injuries that you saw them
- 15:25Speaker 2: have last year to Dickerson and Jurgens, for them to
- 15:28Speaker 2: have somebody who you feel really good about stepping in
- 15:31Speaker 2: and playing guard right now if there's an injury, and
- 15:34Speaker 2: you know, they just don't have that at the moment.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Brett Toff is with San Francisco.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Now, all right, let's fit in another one here from uh, Paul,
- 15:44Speaker 1: Here we go, Paul and the Villa's Andrew likes Cole
- 15:48Speaker 1: was Nowski as a sleeper. Jeff, who is a sleeper
- 15:52Speaker 1: you like? Well, yeah, it was Andrew Diciko who said
- 15:56Speaker 1: he likes Cole was Newski as a from the draft
- 15:58Speaker 1: class as a guy who could help.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Yeah, so.
- 16:03Speaker 2: A sleeper would have to be either a Day three
- 16:05Speaker 2: guy or which the Eagles had, you know, obviously, or
- 16:10Speaker 2: Bernard has never played football before, and the edge rusher
- 16:14Speaker 2: was the last pick. Michael Moore. You know, Morris is
- 16:17Speaker 2: interesting because he only started for one year at Georgia.
- 16:20Speaker 2: That's kind of the feedback I got from NFL scouts
- 16:22Speaker 2: on why he didn't get drafted higher. Because his athletic
- 16:25Speaker 2: testing Mike was amazing. I mean, first of all, he's
- 16:28Speaker 2: six' five three thirty, five so it's great, guard you know,
- 16:33Speaker 2: size and he tested really well, athletically so he could
- 16:36Speaker 2: possibly be that top backup. Guard But i'll give you
- 16:39Speaker 2: a different. One the rookie free agent tight end that
- 16:42Speaker 2: they signed From Ole miss all. RIGHT i think his
- 16:45Speaker 2: name Is Dai Kwon. Wright this guy averaged sixteen yards
- 16:48Speaker 2: of catch in. College now he should have been. DRAFTED
- 16:50Speaker 2: i think he had an injury so he didn't do
- 16:53Speaker 2: either stuff at the combine or a pro toad forget
- 16:55Speaker 2: what that. Is BUT i mean he's an explosive tight
- 16:59Speaker 2: end and if he lights it up in, camp you
- 17:01Speaker 2: know the way the tight end depth chart. IS i
- 17:03Speaker 2: mean you, got you Got, goddard you Got. Stours they're
- 17:06Speaker 2: gonna be. Honest but after, that you, Know johnny wants a,
- 17:09Speaker 2: blocker and who Else like Cam lawtu has not really established,
- 17:13Speaker 2: himself ALTHOUGH i you, KNOW i would throw him into
- 17:15Speaker 2: the sleeper. Mix but if we're talking about guys who
- 17:18Speaker 2: could just come out of, nowhere that tight end has
- 17:20Speaker 2: a lot of. Explosion all.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Right, Uh Steven, vettner our Buddy Steven, vettner who's always
- 17:25Speaker 1: got trade, ideas he, said who's playing strong? Safety this
- 17:28Speaker 1: defense is historically good when we have a great player
- 17:31Speaker 1: at that. POSITION, Cjgj Malcolm, jenkins et.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Cetera i'm reluctant to use that term because ever Since
- 17:39Speaker 2: Vic fangio has really been the, coordinator he hasn't had
- 17:43Speaker 2: a quote unquote strong safety or a quote unquote post.
- 17:46Speaker 2: SAFETY i, mean, obviously With macouba's range and coverage, ability
- 17:50Speaker 2: he can roam around, there and, Yeah blankenship would be
- 17:54Speaker 2: more of the guy that at the last minute to
- 17:56Speaker 2: rotate into the box or play that robber coverage. Sometimes
- 18:00Speaker 2: so uh that that's, That but that goes back to
- 18:02Speaker 2: our point. BEFORE i don't know who the strong safety
- 18:05Speaker 2: is gonna be at this. POINT i don't then The
- 18:07Speaker 2: eagles don't may not have him on the roster at this.
