- 1:15Speaker 3: you start dressing and looking like you do the No.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Yeah, totally. We act a lot of like and I
- 1:22Speaker 4: always go to her for advice too, so we kind
- 1:24Speaker 4: of react the same to similar situations and stuff like that.
- 1:28Speaker 4: How old you we're both twenty one? Yeah?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Close birthdays or no?
- 1:33Speaker 5: No, no, really like six months apart. I'm in November
- 1:36Speaker 5: and she's in April.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Yeah, April.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Are you a Taurus or I'm an aries?
- 1:40Speaker 3: My daughter is right on the cusps. She's an aries.
- 1:43Speaker 3: She's she's more of it. She's a Taurus.

- 1:54Speaker 3: My friend used to remind you that all the time. Like,
- 1:56Speaker 3: that's really nice that you reminded that.
- 1:58Speaker 1: That's great.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah, So tell me, girls, I understand you are these

- 2:08Speaker 3: Well, like you know, they they will they're guys and
- 2:11Speaker 3: they will, like you know, I don't know, not all
- 2:14Speaker 3: of them will go looking there some of them will
- 2:16Speaker 3: not Usually we didn't see them. They'd be like in
- 2:18Speaker 3: a room or behind something you would never see. Now
- 2:21Speaker 3: today everything is the DJ's all like set a stage.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Now it's more you guys are the not the music anymore.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Now with you guys are the show.
- 2:28Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a lot, a lot more than just the
- 2:31Speaker 5: music now about the look and what more you can
- 2:34Speaker 5: bring to the table.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 4: It's a very male dominated industry as well, so I
- 2:38Speaker 4: feel like as two females, young females too. It's it's
- 2:42Speaker 4: been hard for us to like get our names out there,
- 2:44Speaker 4: but we've done really well and we've been very professional
- 2:46Speaker 4: with everyone that we've met. We've made a lot of connections,
- 2:49Speaker 4: so it's been great so far.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Where's your favorite place that you normally will do a booking?
- 2:56Speaker 4: I've been. We did Flynn's last weekend. Fire Island. We
- 2:59Speaker 4: had a rate that's so far line. That's probably my
- 3:03Speaker 4: favorite place.
- 3:04Speaker 5: We've been there for like the last five summers at
- 3:06Speaker 5: this point now, and it's so much fun there.
- 3:09Speaker 4: It's always a great time.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Well, the gays are the best, so much fun.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Amazing for sure. We love Fire Island. We've been to
- 3:17Speaker 4: the city a lot. We've done a lot of I
- 3:20Speaker 4: mean Long Island too. We did Meatball Place recently as well.
- 3:23Speaker 4: We've done Sony Hall to thirty fifth, a lot of
- 3:26Speaker 4: places just around the area as well.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Have you do you work in the city too, A lot?
- 3:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we'll be in the city and a lot
- 3:33Speaker 5: of restaurants in the city. We're at RT sixty a
- 3:36Speaker 5: lot this summer.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yeah. We just hop around from even like North Jersey
- 3:42Speaker 4: as well. We've done like Blue.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Are you from Jersey?
- 3:46Speaker 4: I am, I'm from Jersey. I'm by I'm in Bordentown
- 3:49Speaker 4: by Trenton, so like kind of South Jersey. Yeah, been
- 3:52Speaker 4: long distance friends forever.
- 3:53Speaker 1: What about you?
- 3:54Speaker 5: I live on Long Island, which like Sefa County on
- 3:58Speaker 5: the South Shore.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I was just just came home from the Hamptons.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I know you guys to come DJ in the Hamptons.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Yeah, we have where We've been at Gurney's and great
- 4:13Speaker 5: where else.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah. We sent some events in the Hampton's too. I
- 4:19Speaker 4: loved it. I love the Hampton's. It's something different for me.
- 4:22Speaker 4: It's a little far, but I do love going out there.
- 4:24Speaker 4: It's just a whole.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Gordon's event next year, she should do hervent I could
- 4:29Speaker 3: hook you up and Jil Darren, I could hook you
- 4:34Speaker 3: up with her to do her That sounds yeah.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I just came back from I'm Plugging You Jil this weekend.
- 4:42Speaker 3: How do you feel that the do you feel that
- 4:44Speaker 3: the that the industry is over sexualized as far as I.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Feel like, yeah, I feel like we also get a
- 4:54Speaker 4: lot of guys that are just really into us because
- 4:58Speaker 4: we're there.
- 4:58Speaker 5: They don't always take it seriously too. I feel like
- 5:01Speaker 5: being girls and young girls like you.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Mentioned, we get people playing with our money too. We
- 5:06Speaker 4: have to constantly like.
- 5:08Speaker 3: People that are hiring you all like this because you're
- 5:10Speaker 3: almost clubs are online men.
- 5:12Speaker 4: It's a lot of men. Yeah, we deal with mostly men,
- 5:15Speaker 4: but it also just has to like go down as
- 5:17Speaker 4: like professional. We always like keep track of everything, screenshots.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Are best friends at that. We have to screenshots of everything,
- 5:24Speaker 4: screen shots of everything. But I feel like also it's
- 5:28Speaker 4: also great having both of us because we're on top
- 5:30Speaker 4: of everything in that way as well, because we also
- 5:32Speaker 4: do a lot of stuff the outside, so we just
- 5:35Speaker 4: are always on top of everything.
- 5:37Speaker 3: You still like do weddings and things like that. You're
- 5:39Speaker 3: like privately.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Yeah, you've kind of stayed more.
- 5:43Speaker 3: With because honestly, if you do those those making those
- 5:45Speaker 3: of money makers about it. I mean it's not like
- 5:47Speaker 3: it's not it's not glamorous.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But no, it's money in your pockets out.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's always fun having an event and making somebody's night.
- 5:55Speaker 4: You know, the music is and the party.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yeah right, there's a good adding that fun.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Yeah, totally.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I mean the best some of the best nights of
- 6:03Speaker 3: my life were at weddings.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So much fun.
- 6:06Speaker 4: You're right. I love being a part of like that
- 6:08Speaker 4: that has right occasion. They know that's none of our presents.
- 6:14Speaker 1: The night you don't care what happens after that, four
- 6:18Speaker 1: or five hours a crack.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Literally, So what are your favorite events to do with
- 6:26Speaker 3: other than working in a club. It'll be a wedding
- 6:28Speaker 3: or would it be a baptism?
- 6:30Speaker 4: Some of the nights, honestly are graduation, the little like
- 6:34Speaker 4: restaurant gigs that we do too, especially like Wee Hawk
- 6:37Speaker 4: and Hoboken Area. Like, I'm just so fond of being
- 6:40Speaker 4: out there and it's outside, right, yeah, outside inside as
- 6:44Speaker 4: well throughout the winter more inside, but summer, love being
- 6:48Speaker 4: outside and just love being like in the nice weather.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Do you have a point pleasant you have a work
- 6:54Speaker 1: by Jenkinson's or anything.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Like that, you know, we haven't, but I've actually been
- 6:57Speaker 4: in contact with somebody recently that I'm really trying to
- 7:00Speaker 4: get in there because I've been going out there now
- 7:02Speaker 4: that I'm twenty one. I've been out there this summer,
- 7:05Speaker 4: so I love it. Yeah, I stomping grounds, Yeah, my
- 7:08Speaker 4: stomping grounds. I've been there on the weekends. But I've
- 7:10Speaker 4: been trying to get there, like bar, a bar, anticipation,
- 7:13Speaker 4: A couple of places out there we're trying to get into.
- 7:16Speaker 1: And how long you've been doing this now?
- 7:17Speaker 4: Five years?
- 7:18Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 7:19Speaker 4: Wow?
- 7:19Speaker 1: We started young, Yeah, we did.
- 7:21Speaker 4: We were eighteen when we learned. Yeah, and we've been
- 7:24Speaker 4: friends for ten years now. Actually, we've been friends forever.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Did you know each other from growing up too?
- 7:31Speaker 5: We met modeling. We both were going to a lot
- 7:34Speaker 5: of the same castings and add a lot of the
- 7:37Speaker 5: same events because we look alike the work, so.
- 7:42Speaker 4: We would be casting for the same auditions in the
- 7:44Speaker 4: city a lot. And then we just constantly kept seeing
- 7:46Speaker 4: each other and be like, oh my god, hi, I
- 7:48Speaker 4: recognize you. And then I just became best friends too. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:53Speaker 4: so you stay like that forever for sure.
- 7:56Speaker 1: And so did you still do any modeling anymore or no?
- 7:59Speaker 4: Not very. I think we really went into DJ as
- 8:03Speaker 4: we got.
- 8:03Speaker 1: What made you do that? Like we just said, hey,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I just decided to wake up, let's become like DJ and.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Pretty much, you know, but that's like the best ideas
- 8:13Speaker 3: entrepreneurial idea.
- 8:14Speaker 1: That's good.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Yeah, literally loved music. So we just have like a
- 8:20Speaker 4: lot of different tastes in music. Yeah, that tie in
- 8:22Speaker 4: really well together because we're open format DJ, so we
- 8:25Speaker 4: DJ anything and everything. And I don't know, we just
- 8:28Speaker 4: really tied really well together because we both have different
- 8:33Speaker 4: like thoughts and like different tastes as well. Learn to
- 8:38Speaker 4: we taught ourselves. We taught ourselves for the most part.
- 8:41Speaker 5: We learned the basics first and then just tried to know.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Well we got there's lots of stuff online that you
- 8:50Speaker 5: can nowadays you can find everything on YouTube, so.
- 8:54Speaker 4: A lot of stuff is found down there on TikTok.
- 8:56Speaker 5: We found some tips and tricks, so we just tried
- 9:00Speaker 5: to piece it all together and see how much we
- 9:02Speaker 5: can learn. And then from there we just kept practicing
- 9:05Speaker 5: and picking up the new skills as we went.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and being like I said, being together, we teach
- 9:10Speaker 4: each other a lot to that old school.
- 9:14Speaker 1: DJ with like you know, the when they with the
- 9:16Speaker 1: old with the records. Ye, yeah, you can do that.
- 9:22Speaker 1: That's the hardest, right.
- 9:23Speaker 4: No, it is. It's totally hard. But again, we just
- 9:27Speaker 4: like learning more and more every single day and it just.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Makes it more interesting as well. Yeah, be up there,
- 9:32Speaker 5: it's so fun. We have been doing it with your
- 9:34Speaker 5: best friends. Yeah, we're just having fun playing some good
- 9:38Speaker 5: music and always there for a good time.
- 9:40Speaker 3: What a better what a better gig doing this and
- 9:43Speaker 3: you're having a fun time when you're doing it right
- 9:45Speaker 3: and listening to music. Do you ever do you ever
- 9:50Speaker 3: dread like going to some party that there's music that
- 9:52Speaker 3: you don't like that they ask you to play? Is
- 9:56Speaker 3: there any music that you just don't alle? God, they're
- 9:58Speaker 3: gonna make me play like fifth these or seventies music?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Again?
- 10:02Speaker 3: Do I have to hear Gloria for the fifty thousand times?
- 10:06Speaker 1: You know?
- 10:06Speaker 4: I think we're pretty good.
- 10:08Speaker 5: Yeah, we're good with adapting to anything that the person
- 10:13Speaker 5: who's hiring us once. We can really go in any
- 10:17Speaker 5: direction with our music anytime. We have some of the
- 10:20Speaker 5: seventies or older music we always go to like our parents,
- 10:23Speaker 5: and we're like.
- 10:24Speaker 4: All right, help us out. What are the good songs?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:26Speaker 4: What do we need to know? There are supporters for sure. Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 4: We we can just adapt to whatever.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And freestyle is always good.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Yes, love freestyle a lot of there.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Are a lot of my friends and clients absolutely good music,
- 10:43Speaker 3: great music.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We love it. What's your favorite genre music?
- 10:48Speaker 4: I think we both have. We have a lot of
- 10:51Speaker 4: open taste. Yeah, you know, we listen to house, we listen.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I listen to a lot of rap Latin music as well. Yeah,
- 10:58Speaker 4: I listen to some up.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I listened to a little rap, not as much as her.
- 11:02Speaker 5: That's one of her genres.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Get into that.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Just a mix of everything. We keep it very diverse
- 11:10Speaker 5: because we need to have a good taste of all
- 11:12Speaker 5: the different genres.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I love to hear your playlists. I love to say, anyone,
- 11:16Speaker 1: we need.
- 11:17Speaker 4: To give it to you forget. Yeah, we'll give you
- 11:19Speaker 4: some mixes as well, send you some.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I love that.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I would love to send that to you.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Do you like older music too?
- 11:28Speaker 4: I love old R and B as well. That's like
- 11:30Speaker 4: kind of my vibe obviously. Not when we go out
- 11:33Speaker 4: as much. But I do love like my old R
- 11:35Speaker 4: and B freestyle as well. I've grown up listening to
- 11:38Speaker 4: my mom play that music in the car, So definitely
- 11:41Speaker 4: my vibe for sure.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Will you get that from your parents, right? You usually
- 11:46Speaker 1: get that.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I mean music that I listened to, I listened to
- 11:49Speaker 3: was because of my brothers and sisters, you know, like
- 11:51Speaker 3: I there's certain music from like I mean, I'm a
- 11:54Speaker 3: lot old. I mean, you guys, I have shoes older
- 11:56Speaker 3: than you.
- 11:58Speaker 1: My kids are your age.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But but that then, I mean I was a kid,
- 12:02Speaker 3: but my brothers and sisters would listen to like music
- 12:05Speaker 3: from the sixties.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I wasn't even born yet, but I would love all
- 12:09Speaker 3: the rock bands from the sixties.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I would listen to the Rolling Stones.
- 12:13Speaker 3: I will listen to you know, the Grateful Dead, all
- 12:15Speaker 3: these crazy but like and then it's funny because when
- 12:17Speaker 3: I introduced it to my kids, Like my daughter was
- 12:21Speaker 3: listening to the Beatles one CD when she was born,
- 12:24Speaker 3: and she could sing every Beatles song because and I
- 12:26Speaker 3: was like, do I if I don't, if I would
- 12:27Speaker 3: say that this or Barney, I'm not listening to making
- 12:30Speaker 3: my daughter listen to death. So I would listen to
- 12:32Speaker 3: make listen to that, but but it's how you how
- 12:36Speaker 3: you're generational, you pass.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It down to them.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Do you like like Frank Sinatra and like Dean Martin, Yeah, yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 3: you have to like good that kind of good me too,
- 12:47Speaker 3: because that's that's that's beautiful music.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Yeah right, yeah, totally. I love a Leiah still, I'm
- 12:55Speaker 4: always on her Lauren Hill as well.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Lauren Hill is the best.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Love Lauren Hill, love so many of her songs.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So do you like the Four Seasons, like Frankie Valley,
- 13:03Speaker 1: the Four Seas? Like Jersey Boys?
- 13:05Speaker 4: I like Jersey Boys?
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah, girl, it's amazing, It's an amazing story.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I can't. But you know, we like to keep
- 13:14Speaker 4: it open for everybody. We always like to try and
- 13:16Speaker 4: please everybody. That's I think the hardest part about being
- 13:20Speaker 4: DJs is like we're not going to when people to.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Can play this, can play this, it's sposally like a
- 13:24Speaker 3: drunk asshole.
- 13:28Speaker 4: We had to deal with a couple.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I used to be that dun sometimes.
- 13:34Speaker 5: We always try to play any requests that we get,
- 13:37Speaker 5: We try our best.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know, whatever fits the vibe that we're
- 13:42Speaker 4: already trying to stay into because a lot of the times,
- 13:44Speaker 4: the the owner of the place, you know, he wants
- 13:47Speaker 4: to stick to a certain we have some guidelines for
- 13:51Speaker 4: what he wants to play, so we can't go to
- 13:52Speaker 4: a far off track, you know. So it depends if
- 13:56Speaker 4: we could play it. We'll play it if we have
- 13:58Speaker 4: it yet.
- 14:00Speaker 1: To make you're fair, then you're fair. Yeah, then you're good.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You're good DJs. Then, so when is your next gig? Now? Like,
- 14:07Speaker 1: when is your next time that you're gonna that you're
- 14:09Speaker 1: going to be at a big, a big, a big event.
- 14:12Speaker 5: The next one that I can think of is we'll
- 14:14Speaker 5: be at RT sixty coming up in August. I think
- 14:19Speaker 5: that's like two weeks away. Yeah, in like two weeks.
- 14:22Speaker 5: That'll be exciting. We've been there a couple of times already.
- 14:25Speaker 4: This summer.
- 14:26Speaker 1: It's gotta go to Corney Island, Sed, you get down
- 14:28Speaker 1: on Corney.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Islands, Okay Island?
- 14:30Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, you gotta try to get into you should
- 14:34Speaker 3: you should try to get well. I could probably get
- 14:36Speaker 3: you into the show with Corney Island with the freestyle too.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, yeah, I would.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Love Yeah, that's fun. That's great totally.
- 14:45Speaker 3: So tell everybody where they could find you girls on
- 14:48Speaker 3: your social media and it can and we people can
- 14:52Speaker 3: just hire you directly from if we want for any
- 14:54Speaker 3: any occasion.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Yeah, and so these are good DJs. So we have
- 15:01Speaker 4: our own personal instagrams. Mine's just my name, Johnson Delgado
- 15:05Speaker 4: and then mine is Jianna for easy. We also have
- 15:08Speaker 4: our joint Instagram it's j D and GF, so that's
- 15:11Speaker 4: where we take a lot of our bookings personally as well.
- 15:15Speaker 4: We have a SoundCloud or SoundCloud, Yes is JD and GF.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Also on TikTok where JD and GF just about on
- 15:24Speaker 4: everything it's our names or j D and GF. Yeah,
- 15:28Speaker 4: you guys are so cute.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I love to I'd love to come to your next
- 15:35Speaker 1: next show.
- 15:36Speaker 4: We have to get her.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Maybe it'll be in Point Pleasant. Yes, I know, you
