- 0:02Today, we have volatility in the silver market, volatility to the
- 0:06upside, gold as well. But there's a lot of reasons why
- 0:09these prices could go much, much higher in the coming weeks,
- 0:14quarters, months and decade. We're going to cover them all,
- 0:17but let's run out and see what the big headline is today that
- 0:20is driving everything. And that would be as we head out
- 0:25to CNBC, the Dow rising 600 points oil retreats on Iran deal
- 0:31progress. So of course, as has been the
- 0:34the case lately, right, a lot of noise having short term impact
- 0:39on the precious metals prices. We're going to look at the long
- 0:42term. I want you to consider one big
- 0:45thing when we think about long term support for the silver
- 0:49price and gold price in regard to what's going on with this war
- 0:52in the Middle East and this energy crisis.
- 0:55Number one, we could have more noise, but number 2, the
- 0:59economic impact, the inflation impact of what has happened
- 1:03still has not really been felt all throughout the world.
- 1:07And inflation is what will drive the price of precious metals for
- 1:12the coming decade. You can look at all the other
- 1:14fancy crazy stuff and we'll, we'll look at some of that
- 1:17together, no doubt. But guys, at the end of the day,
- 1:21it's all about inflation, devaluation of the Fiat
- 1:25currencies and whether or not they come to a truce this time
- 1:28or not. The cat is out of the bag.
- 1:31The ship has sailed, not through the Straits of Hormuz yet, if
- 1:35you get what I'm saying. But but the inflation, the, the
- 1:39economic impact, it, it cannot be reversed at this point.
- 1:43Rafi Farber brings up something very interesting about silver
- 1:49and we've been hearing a lot about this lately, but he puts a
- 1:52bit of a new spin on it. This came from Rafi Farber.
- 1:56An e-mail that he sent out this morning for his in game investor
- 2:01says trading volume in silver future futures drops off the
- 2:06proverbial proverbial Cliff following open interest.
- 2:10This is interesting. OK, Trading volume has been
- 2:14collapsing. We're going to look at some more
- 2:15data on that as well. But why is this actually a good
- 2:19thing for the silver price? He says.
- 2:21I've been tracking open interest, but not volume so
- 2:25much. Well, trading volume in silver
- 2:28futures has just dropped to the lowest level since 2007.
- 2:34That's like 19 years at at less than 27,000 contracts traded for
- 2:40the day. We've not seen this number at
- 2:43all in nearly 20 years. I drew a black line where the
- 2:47volume is now. See the top right corner for the
- 2:50exact number. And here's the chart that he's
- 2:52talking about, guys, we are way down here, OK?
- 2:58In terms of silver Futures Trading volume, look at where
- 3:02it's been over the last number of years.
- 3:04That is a like massive collapse. Why is that important?
- 3:09He says with open interest at Erie Lowe's and now trading
- 3:12volume dead in the water, the silver's futures market is not
- 3:16equipped to handle a sudden burst of demand.
- 3:20For whatever reason, like the resolution of the Hormuz
- 3:23situation, which may have just happened.
- 3:26We are seeing what used to be wild swings in silver every
- 3:31single day now considered normal.
- 3:34This is this is a consequence of very low liquidity.
- 3:38So the take away here, two things.
- 3:42Number one, people are moving away from the paper futures
- 3:46markets, right? People are moving more toward
- 3:48physical. We got a great article we're
- 3:50going to look at tomorrow that points out that in no uncertain
- 3:54terms that China and India are now setting the price for
- 3:58silver. But with all this decreased
- 4:00liquidity, right, there's much less liquidity in the paper
- 4:05market. When things do happen, we could
- 4:08get, we could get a big move, I'll put it that way, or a big
- 4:13squeeze, which is what we could be saying today.
- 4:16I want to revisit the fact quickly with you all because
- 4:19we've been pounding the table down here, 7250 in the silver
- 4:24price, $72.50 has held. You know, let's go out and take
- 4:28a quick look, get an update on the volatility in the silver
- 4:33market, OK, We're up $4.00 per oz, $77.08.
- 4:38So we are well above that the critical line in the sand $72.50
- 4:44base that we put out there for the silver market.
- 4:48Now let's go back to one of our favorite charts of all time.
- 4:53That's that tells us something very, very important long term
- 4:58about where this silver market is heading.
- 5:00Let's go check out the cup and handle because even the
- 5:04notorious in a good way, Jesse Colombo brought it up again.
- 5:09Jesse from the bubble bubble report, He said despite recent
- 5:13turbulence, silver's breakout from its five decade cup and
- 5:17handle remains 100% intact, holding above the key $50 level
- 5:23and our key $72.50 level. This is the time to be
- 5:28optimistic, not pessimistic in silver is still dirt cheap
- 5:32compared to where it's headed. And guys, look, there's been a
- 5:36lot of pessimism in the last 3-4 weeks in the precious metal
- 5:40sector. And that's imagine what we're
- 5:43doing right now, right? Us, they're people that really
- 5:46believe in what's going on the basement dwellers in the world
- 5:50of silver and gold that what we're doing now in the face of
- 5:54like, like the wait till you see the sentiment numbers I'm going
- 5:57to share with you later. It's crazy that we're what we're
- 6:01doing is in like the worst conditions ever when sentiment
- 6:05changes. And now we've got this new base
- 6:08built above $72.50 and we have this right, the good old cup and
- 6:14handle like Jesse says, that goes back for 50 years, OK, this
- 6:20is 1980, this is 2011, OK? This is what happened over the
- 6:27last 15 years, and this is what's happened over the last 15
- 6:34months. OK, now remember, let me take
- 6:38that back. This cup and handle is what,
- 6:40198045 years, we'll say 50 years?
- 6:48Cup and handle formations are widely accepted to be like the
- 6:53most reliable and accurate of all technical analysis chart
- 6:57patterns. And as an extra added bonus, the
- 7:01longer the time frame over which they form, the more accurate
- 7:05they are considered to be. I see some people say that the
- 7:09upward move can equal this amount right here.
- 7:14OK, from the kind of the the the former resistance level.
- 7:18So imagine where that puts us on the upside up there.
- 7:22It's looking good. It's looking good.
- 7:24One more quick note on this, like what seems to be the
- 7:27collapse of the Comex happening right now in real time.
- 7:31The dude, the one and only dude, we love him, put out this day to
- 7:35yesterday. The silver market traded only
- 7:38141 million paper oz yesterday. OK, the trading volumes have
- 7:46been down recently because no one is on COMEX anymore except
- 7:51those dirty banks trading back and forth to manipulate prices.
- 7:55Get physical while you can, all right?
- 7:58Thank you to our good friend the Dude.
- 8:01He's always, he's always got some great info for us.
- 8:04Hey, I do want to say thank you to channel sponsor First Mining
- 8:07Gold for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 8:09We're going to switch over to gold here for just a second, but
- 8:12they're a development stage gold mining company with two huge
- 8:15projects in Canada, Spring Pool in Ontario, Duparque located in
- 8:20Quebec, millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
- 8:23They're working them through the development stage.
- 8:26You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
- 8:29And it Full disclosure, it is a stock that I own and I owned it
- 8:33long before they sponsored the channel.
- 8:36All right, let's talk about mergers in the gold and silver
- 8:39sector. But what that really means for
- 8:42the precious metals and the precious metal prices because
- 8:45things are really starting to heat up.
- 8:50Oliver Gross put put out this one.
- 8:52Exploding cash flows and best balance sheets ever.
- 8:56The gold mining sector is experiencing an ongoing surge in
- 9:01mergers and acquisitions. This all applies to silver as
- 9:04well. Another major mergers and
- 9:07acquisition deal was announced today in Australia, creating a
- 9:10new 700,000 oz per year gold producer.
- 9:17Australia's Regis to take over Vault, creating an $8 billion
- 9:22gold producer. And there's the data on that
- 9:25right there. But what, why, why are we?
- 9:27There's two reasons why we want to pay attention to this and why
- 9:31it's a big deal #1 all these big mergers, all this big news
- 9:36coming out in the mining sector brings more eyeballs to the
- 9:39overall precious metal sector. OK.
- 9:42The other thing is some people get mixed up and think, oh, that
- 9:46means they're going to there's, there's more, more production of
- 9:49gold and silver when these mergers occur.
- 9:51No, there's no more gold and silver being produced.
- 9:55It's just being combined under one company.
- 9:58I think most of us realize that, but there are some people out
- 10:01there, they get confused and say, well, that means there's
- 10:03going to be all this extra gold and silver coming on the market.
- 10:06No, no, it's just combining it under one company as opposed to
- 10:11two separate companies producing it on their own.
- 10:14And what it really signals, right, is that the gold and
- 10:17silver sector is healthy and the companies are willing to pay a
- 10:21big premium, OK to to add production to their profile.
- 10:27So on every level, this mergers and acquisition stuff is great.
- 10:30Now let's look at the chart that shows us that the gold price
- 10:35could go up 7X from here. All right, You be you be the
- 10:40judge. You be the judge.
- 10:42But this is a chart that was actually saying something.
- 10:47Hold on here. There we go.
- 10:49North Star, bad charts, right? The probably, again, one of the
- 10:53top 10 most respected chartists out there says gold and silver.
- 10:57Too many commentators are failing to acknowledge the
- 11:01evidence in recent weeks, right that we haven't broke out.
- 11:05This chart shows the ratio comparing gold versus the S&P
- 11:11500. Do you notice something on this
- 11:13chart first, right? Does this not look like a cup
- 11:18and handle? Now it I know it's a tilted cup
- 11:22and handle or a spilling cup and handle.
- 11:25I don't know how that how that plays in the technical analysis,
- 11:29but to me that's a definite cup and handle again that eventually
- 11:34we could get a big break out of which would be good because this
- 11:37chart compares OK, the price of gold to the S&P 500.
- 11:44So we've got gold right now. What around let's say 46147
- 11:50hundred, the S&P 500 at about 7000.
- 11:54Hold on, let's go. Wait one second, let's go out to
- 12:01CNBC and see exactly where the S&P is right now.
- 12:04Yeah, about 7300. So oops, sorry, I forgot to
- 12:08share. That's OK.
- 12:10So right now when you compare the price of 1 ounce of gold to
- 12:141 unit of the S&P 500, you're going to get a number over here.
- 12:19I don't know about .65 point whatever as that breaks out, OK,
- 12:24It will break out like a normal cup and handle and go much, much
- 12:29higher. What's interesting is if we go
- 12:31all the way back over here in the lower left corner, 1980, at
- 12:36that point that ratio was over 7.
- 12:41If we were to get that ratio today and the S&P 500 were just
- 12:46to stay where it is, we would have a gold price.
- 12:49We would need a gold price over $49,000 per oz, which is truly
- 12:55astounding. But again, 1980s, not that long
- 12:59ago, we just broke out of a of a cup and handle pattern on the
- 13:02silver price that went back to 1980.
- 13:05This is not out of the question. All right, let's watch something
- 13:08fascinating about silver from the man himself, our friend
- 13:14Ergon. Let me get this back on for you.
- 13:18Here we go there's Ergon comparing silver.
- 13:24They they've become very, very bullish on silver.
- 13:27This video shows compares 1400 oz gold bar to 22 large silver
- 13:34bars and let me get it up for you and then we'll talk why this
- 13:38is so important. This little bar here compared to
- 13:42these 22,000 oz, this little bar of 400 oz compared to these 22
- 13:47bars of 1000 ounces is actually valued at 50% more than the
- 13:51silver bars. I think that relationship will
- 13:54change and gold, silver ratio, gold price divided by silver
- 13:58will now come down dramatically, which means that relatively
- 14:02silver will increase in value significantly in relation to
- 14:06gold. And that way I'm going to see in
- 14:08the next few years. OK, He also recently said that
- 14:12he wouldn't be surprised to see the silver price reach 203
- 14:18hundred, I think even 400 and a lot sooner than most people
- 14:21think. He's been in the precious metal
- 14:23sector for decades. He owns a huge company, Gold
- 14:26Silver Switzerland with that guy that I think it's one of the the
- 14:30the rock stars of the precious metal sector, Matt Pipenberg.
- 14:34But he's saying now and he loves gold.
- 14:36OK, I remember Ergon always talking about gold at times when
- 14:41he favored gold over silver. Now are you catching on what
- 14:45he's saying? It seems like he's actually
- 14:47favoring silver. Hey, if you favor silver and
- 14:50when it gets to get your hands on some great silver from the
- 14:53silver specialist mint, is there any other mint out there that's
- 14:57like purely silver? Is there any other mint out
- 15:00there that's actually owned by a silver mining company?
- 15:04First Mint is owned by First Majestic Silver.
- 15:08They dig the silver out of the ground in Mexico.
- 15:11They ship it to 1st Mint in Las Vegas, NV, and then it goes
- 15:15directly to you. And you know, I've been showing
- 15:18you this lately. I love these one ounce bars.
- 15:21This is their new Liberty bar. And guess what I learned
- 15:25yesterday? They've got a special going on
- 15:28right now. I'm going to show you go out to
- 15:32the first Mint website, first mint.com, where you can see all
- 15:38their products. You're the horse.
- 15:40I love that. You know, I'll show you that one
- 15:41in a second. Also, there's their Buffalo
- 15:44round. You're the dragon.
- 15:46Here we go. They've got a special on their
- 15:48Liberty bar right now, $2 off and the price will be reflected
- 15:54in what you see on the website. So check them out at First
- 15:56mint.com. Great prices, great selection,
- 15:59great service, free shipping on orders over $299, and a big
- 16:06honor that they are sponsoring our channel.
- 16:09You guys love them. That's the best part for me
- 16:11because whoever I represent, right, whether it's first Mining
- 16:15Gold or First Mint, they got to be companies that I'm vested in
- 16:19that I work with and that I know are providing you with a great
- 16:23product, a great service, or a great opportunity.
- 16:25So thank you First Mint. All right, guys, let's go on
- 16:29here. Oh, this is interesting.
- 16:30I had I had a light bulb moment last night.
- 16:35You off? We often talk about the case for
- 16:37gold and silver and say mathematics shows no forgiveness
- 16:41on the altar of truth, right? When we look at the national
- 16:44debt, when we look at the monetary fiscal situation, like
- 16:48you can't cheat math, 2 + 2 always equals 4.
- 16:52But Matt Pipenberg, I heard him say this last night.
- 16:55He said it in a different way. He talking about why he why he
- 17:00why he sees what's happening with like the United States
- 17:05financial situation, why he sees it falling apart, why he sees
- 17:09gold and silver being such a smart investment.
- 17:12He said this write this down. History and math are always
- 17:18pretty consistent. I talk about math all the time,
- 17:24but I hadn't thought about adding history in there, right?
- 17:28Both history and math have a very, very, very consistent,
- 17:33steady, accurate track record. All right, let's go back to
- 17:38China. We get more news out of China.
- 17:40Oh, and this has a bonus feature.
- 17:45Mario, Mario Norfol. And I'm going to tell you why
- 17:49it's so important that he's saying this.
- 17:51Posted this yesterday. Gold is now America's biggest
- 17:54export Gold, and has been for the last five months.
- 17:59In March, US gold exports were 1.7 times larger than oil, 2
- 18:06times larger than pharmaceuticals, and 2.5 times
- 18:09larger than aircraft engines. Most of it is flowing through
- 18:14Switzerland and then straight to China.
- 18:17So there's this big, big, big, big story going on that the
- 18:20United States is now settling our trade deficit with China
- 18:25essentially in gold, right? In the math.
- 18:28The math points it out. I'm going to tell you why
- 18:30Mario's so important. Here's the chart that came from
- 18:35Fred, which I think is the Saint Louis where I live.
- 18:39Fed bank, right? That shows exports of gold of,
- 18:44I'm sorry, exports of non monetary gold.
- 18:47I mean, look at this. OK, 4004 thousand.
- 18:51Yeah, I got the 8000. We went up a little bit, boom
- 18:55through the roof. Gold is becoming re monetized
- 19:00now. Why?
- 19:01Before I forget, why is Mario Naufall?
- 19:05Why is that? Why is it so critical or
- 19:07interesting that he's saying that?
- 19:10Because Mario has 3.4 million followers on X.
- 19:15But even more important, Mario is very popular with younger
- 19:20people. Mario is not like a a guy in his
- 19:23basement who's a gold and silver mega bowl.
- 19:26OK, Mario covers all types of news all over the world.
- 19:33And recently he's talking a lot about gold and silver, right?
- 19:38If you're somebody my age, I'm 56 years old, I may not know who
- 19:41Mario Nafal is, but people in their 20s and 30s, they all know
- 19:46this will bring more and more people into the world of
- 19:51precious metals. No doubt about it.
- 19:55Now we go to the Kobesi letter is the Federal Reserve.
- 20:00Printing money right now, monetizing that again Kobesi
- 20:04letter only two million followers, super respected.
- 20:09Let's listen to what they say about what the Fed is doing
- 20:11right now. Is the Fed printing money?
- 20:14the Fed is loading up on U.S. Treasuries.
- 20:16The Feds total treasury holdings are now up to 4.4 trillion, the
- 20:21highest since July of 2024. Since December the central bank
- 20:28has bought 237 billion of treasuries. the Fed is propping
- 20:34up the treasury market. And here's the chart.
- 20:37OK, as you can clearly see right, the Fed is buying more
- 20:42treasuries. The only way the Fed can buy
- 20:45Treasuries is by doing what they do best, which is printing
- 20:50money, right? So it's been going on under the
- 20:55cover. They're not going to call it QE.
- 20:57They're not going to call it money printing.
- 21:00But the Fed is in a position where they now have to buy U.S.
- 21:03debt to keep the interest rates down.
- 21:06But at the same time, all that does is that lowers the interest
- 21:11rates with printed money. I mean, it's common sense,
- 21:14right? Is it devalues the dollar even
- 21:17further in real terms and guys, it creates inflation, which as
- 21:22we know will absolutely create more and more value for silver
- 21:27and gold. We're going to keep going.
- 21:29We're going to talk about how high a few people you have to
- 21:35get the 200 bikes first. OK.
- 21:37Upstairs Susie is demanding on this volatility day.
- 21:40Demanding. I'm asking, I'm I, I stand
- 21:47corrected. Upstairs, Susie is asking
- 21:50politely. Please give it a thumbs up.
- 21:53And despite the fact that I'm battling this bizarre sickness
- 21:57that's taking my voice away, I will say hey, hi to you guys
- 22:00because we are from all over the world, right?
- 22:03So, so it I will do it here at the end, I'll ask you to leave
- 22:07not now in a little bit. Leave a comment with where
- 22:09you're joining from and I'll do my best to say hello.
- 22:13Now we're going to talk about how horrible things are in the
- 22:16gold and silver market and why that's a good thing.
- 22:19Why it's actually a good thing. Maybe I can whisper that.
- 22:22I'll help my voice. Here we go.
- 22:24This is super interesting. Clive Mahan shared with us we're
- 22:32going to look at a strong evidence that the precious metal
- 22:35sector bottom is in. The biggest giveaway that the
- 22:39sector bottom is in and that it should be and that it should go
- 22:43up from here soon is sentiment, which we can track track on the
- 22:49via the gold miners bullish percentage index.
- 22:52And man, have you felt it? I felt it over the last, I don't
- 22:55know, four or five weeks like there was a a lot of negativity
- 23:02in the precious metal sector despite the fact that we had $70
- 23:06silver, despite the fact that we had $4500 gold.
- 23:10And I'll tell you why it's positive.
- 23:12OK, this is a, a short term chart of that index and here we
- 23:22go, right? This measures, this measures
- 23:26index and then the gold bowls. And as you can see, it goes from
- 23:30100 all the way down here to 0. And as you can see, right back
- 23:36in October when things were good, hey, everybody was happy
- 23:40we were way up here. See those 3 red circles that I'm
- 23:43circling that coincides with the highs in the silver and in the
- 23:47gold mining stocks. Now, when the price went down,
- 23:54that's the green circles there. You can see, right that the
- 23:58sentiment went from being up here near 100 all the way down
- 24:03to four or five. But what you can also see is it
- 24:10sentiment can't go below 0 and can't go below 100, and it
- 24:14always fluctuates. It goes in waves and cycles in
- 24:19between and while we were way down here, right, it will go
- 24:24back up again. And after a day like today, it
- 24:27probably has started to go back up.
- 24:29I think he's Yeah, this is even a longer term 10 year chart of
- 24:33that same thing, right? All the way back to 2017 again
- 24:38right when back here when it hit way low that's the sentiment
- 24:43level right around where it where it's been recently and
- 24:46then it you know trudged forward.
- 24:48Here's the other look at that green circle and then it went up
- 24:52from there. Every time there's a green
- 24:54circle, which is horrible sentiment.
- 24:57All right, you can see the generally we get a big price
- 25:01increase because like he said, right people, well, the retail
- 25:07investors, I encourage you to please don't be an active trader
- 25:11with your with your silver and gold.
- 25:13Trust me, you can try your luck, but it's very difficult.
- 25:17Don't let your emotions rule the day.
- 25:19And that's what that chart shows us a lot of people when the
- 25:22sentiment gets low. All right, you should see some
- 25:25of the emails that I received over the last three to four
- 25:28weeks, right? They oh, I'm done with silver,
- 25:30I'm done with gold. They sell when the price is
- 25:33lower and then when the sentiment gets real high again
- 25:37and the price gets real high again, that's when they buy.
- 25:40It's easy to get mixed up like that.
- 25:44I've done it before with other things.
- 25:45Other people have my opinion, like our guy I think it was, was
- 25:49Clive Moen yesterday told us just buy and hold.
- 25:52He said hold your silver for five years, write it down again.
- 25:56I'm not a financial advisor. Don't make any financial
- 25:59decisions based on what I'm saying, but I found it to be
- 26:03kind of a lucrative, smart thing to do, especially with silver,
- 26:08to just buy it, store it somewhere off site, right, and
- 26:12hold it and don't worry about it.
- 26:14And it seems to do really, really well.
- 26:16OK, one more big story and then we're going to do the big hello
- 26:20to everybody out there. So think about one second here.
- 26:23You need to leave a comment. But Kevin O'Leary, this came
- 26:26from Summit Metals. My good friend Mr. M emailed me
- 26:30this last night. Summit medals.
- 26:33There we go, put this article out.
- 26:35Kevin O'Leary, that guy, that famous Canadian billionaire or
- 26:41multi millionaire just built the case for silver.
- 26:44Here are two more reasons to listen.
- 26:47OK, this is incredible. Yesterday, Box Elder, county
- 26:53commissioner in Utah in Utah, unanimously approved Kevin
- 26:57O'leary's Stratus project. It's a 40,000 acre AI data
- 27:02center campus in northern Utah. To put that in perspective, it's
- 27:07the same size as Washington, DC, bigger than the entire city of
- 27:12San Francisco, and you could fit 30 Manhattans inside of it.
- 27:18This is not a data center, it's a data city.
- 27:22This is like a metropolis data center that they're going to
- 27:25build. But what does that mean for
- 27:27Silver? Well, as they so accurately
- 27:31point out in this article, they breakdown based on the number of
- 27:35servers, communicate communications equipment,
- 27:37everything else that at the end of the day, this project, right
- 27:44estimate to build out the hardware for this project could
- 27:48take up to up almost 7 million oz per silver, or right two to
- 27:56three days of the world's mine output.
- 27:58That is for one data center in one city.
- 28:01Man, the outlook for silver and gold are just incredible.
- 28:05Now we're going to say hi to some of our fellow basement
- 28:10dwellers. Hold on here one second.
- 28:12All right, guys, this is the time, please.
- 28:16Hey, San Francisco. All right, welcome.
- 28:20Leave a comment. Tell me where you're from.
- 28:22I'll ring the gun for you guys if Susie tells me.
- 28:26Susie, did we get the 200 thumbs up?
