Search resumes for plane that vanished in 1978
A search gets underway today in the hope of solving the mystery of a plane that went missing nearly half a century ago, with seven people on board. The aircraft vanished in 1978 during a chartered scenic flight from Dunedin through Queenstown, Milford Sound and Preservation Inlet. Senior Sergeant Mark Kirkwood, the officer in charge of the search operation spoke to John Campbell.
