- 0:00An illness is a vibrational pattern that impacts the body
- 0:04and its normal operations. If one does not succeed in
- 0:08rejecting it before it breaks through the protective vital
- 0:11sheath, and then if one fails to prevent it from taking hold at
- 0:16all in the physical body, one is left with having to deal with
- 0:20the illness that is active in the body and vibrating the
- 0:23physical substance. As we see with all physical
- 0:27forms, they attain a type of solidity that makes them less
- 0:32malleable and able to be dealt with, and the physical body
- 0:36shares some of that attribute. Thus, an illness, once it gets
- 0:41into the body, requires substantially more effort to
- 0:44remove than if it could be kept out in the first place.
- 0:49It is, however, not impossible to do this.
- 0:53The body has its own defense mechanisms, including the entire
- 0:57action of the immune system to destroy invading organisms or
- 1:01slow down or prevent their reproduction, and the setup of
- 1:05the corresponding vibrational patterns.
- 1:09Many of the symptoms we experience are due to the action
- 1:12of the immune system when it comes up against the victor that
- 1:15it is trying to take control, the body.
- 1:20Certain actions can help strengthen the body's response
- 1:23to the illness, including the use of a will that can
- 1:26strengthen both the immune response and the vital sheath.
- 1:30Acute illnesses generally can be dealt with more easily, as they
- 1:35are by definition not as deeply embedded or in control of the
- 1:39body. Once an illness becomes chronic,
- 1:43there's an implication that it has begun to change the physical
- 1:47substance and embedded itself more deeply, thus making it more
- 1:52difficult but not impossible to remove.
- 1:56There's a qualitative difference when it comes to physical
- 1:59changes, particularly destructive changes that take
- 2:02place either from an embedded disease or due to either
- 2:07congenital or acquired infirmities that change the body
- 2:11itself. Similarly, a disease that has
- 2:14become entrenched in the being can bring about massive physical
- 2:18changes that may remain even if the disease is eventually
- 2:23dispelled. At our current stage of
- 2:26evolutionary development, we are unable, for instance, to regrow
- 2:30limbs or organs that have suffered partial destruction.
- 2:34The progression of the disease may be stopped, but the
- 2:38restoration of destroyed tissue may not be possible for most.
- 2:44There is of course research ongoing, for instance about
- 2:46regrowing lost teeth or limbs, both of which are possible in
- 2:51certain species in the animal Kingdom, and for which there may
- 2:55be genes that are simply inactivated in the human DNA.
- 3:00Should we at some point gain access to these genes and be
- 3:04able to activate them, restoration of parts of the
- 3:07physical body could indeed become a reality.
- 3:11Similarly, work with stem cells seems to indicate that entire
- 3:16organs could be regrown at some point.
- 3:19Again, this is a potential future line of development to
- 3:24address the destruction of tissue that can occur if a
- 3:27disease becomes chronic and destructive of physical
- 3:30substance, or in the case of either physical trauma or
- 3:35congenital issues. There is thus a hierarchy of
- 3:39action in the case of dealing with physical diseases.
- 3:42First, the will to not allow the vector to penetrate the vital
- 3:47sheath is the first line of action, and this can be done as
- 3:51the awareness and the strengthening of the vitality
- 3:54and the aura develop. Second is to reduce or eliminate
- 3:59acute conditions that have reached the body.
- 4:02Third is to develop the ability to remove chronic conditions.
- 4:07Finally, there is the potentiality to reverse physical
- 4:11damage at some point, whether with the help of biotechnology
- 4:16or through some kind of inner transformative practice that we
- 4:19have generally not yet developed, Srioro Bindu observes
- 4:24quote. Certainly one can act from
- 4:27within on an illness and cure it.
- 4:29Only it is not always easy. As there is much resistance in
- 4:33matter, a resistance of inertia and untiring persistence is
- 4:38necessary. At first one may fail altogether
- 4:42and the symptoms increase, but gradually the control of the
- 4:46body or of a particular illness becomes stronger again.
- 4:52To cure an occasional attack of illness by inner means is
- 4:55comparatively easy. To make the body immune from it
- 4:59in future is more difficult. A chronic malady is harder to
- 5:03deal with, more reluctant to disappear entirely, than an
- 5:08occasional disturbance of the body, so long as the control of
- 5:12the body is imperfect. There are all these and other
- 5:16imperfections and difficulties in the use of the inner force.
- 5:22If you can succeed by the interaction in preventing
- 5:25increase, even that is something.
- 5:27You have then by abhyasa to strengthen the power till it
- 5:31becomes able to cure. Note that so long as the power
- 5:36is not entirely there, some aid of physical means need not be
- 5:40altogether rejected. End Quote Reference Sri
